Whiskey Licker Up at Binion's

Cool looking place on fremont, we saw it and immediately wanted to eat here, it's a nice and spacious sports bar layout.. They have a rotating bar, and seats that overlook fremont.. The food looks great, all of us ordered more than we can eat, pizza's, sandwiches, I thought my Swiss mushroom burger was absolutely delicious it was a little bit Pinker than I wanted but that's okay.. I was not impressed by the pizza...3/5. The wait was a bit long, but over all a decent experience....

I loved the atmosphere here. The service was excellent and the food is good. I love Las Vegas history, and this restaurant is located inside the part of Binion's, which was the Mint. If you look at the second picture I posted, this restaurant & bar are located where it used to say "The Mint" on the building.

First of all to the two servers we had at the Whiskey Licker Up Saloon "Morgan" & "Zahily" THANK YOU...!!! The service both Morgan and Zahily gave us was absolutely incredible again THANK YOU 😀 by far the best service we had for our Weeks stay in Downtown... Now onto the food and Atmosphere. Again incredible...!!! It was so good the first time, that we definitely had to go back for a second time... We started the first time with the Onion Rings as a starter... That was a great start with more to come, Definitely recommend the Onion Rings 👍👍 for the first time I had the Bacon Cheese Burger ( Medium ) with Coleslaw, and my brother had the Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich. And both were incredibly good. The second time we started with the Fried Pickles 🥒 only because the side pickles they give you with your meal are simply amazing ( done in their homemade brine ) ( I want that brine recipe lol ) So the Fried Pickles arrived OMG they're so good we highly recommend the Fried Pickles 👍👍 and this time because my brother said the Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich was so good I had to try it, with Coleslaw again ( I think they use some of the pickle brine in the Coleslaw mix ). Once again it was SOOOO GOOD , and my brother had the Chicken Sandwich if I remember correctly. And he said it was very good as well. Everything was so good and service was above and beyond. All of the other food that we noticed coming out ALL looked amazing... So please don't hesitate to go to the Whiskey Licker Up Saloon as it starts right away as soon as you walk up the stairs, with the great friendly service. Also we were told that during the NFL season that the Bar part opens up earlier for the 10am games. And that when the shows start in the evening at the 1st Street they open up the side windows so you can listen to Alter Ego and the other live music that goes on 😀👍👍

The most disappointing dining experience of our Vegas trip, especially considering the $$ we paid. We stopped here for dinner on Fremont Street and left thoroughly unsatisfied. Both main dishes—Ceviche Stuffed Avocado and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich—were overly sour and salty, with excessive seasoning. The Brownie with Ice Cream was equally disappointing, tasting far from fresh. Service was poor; our waitress was rude, seemed uninterested and was always in a rush. Adding to the frustration, the kitchen took a long time to serve, with even the simple dessert taking around 25 minutes to arrive. Overall, this was a regrettable choice, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

It's okay but there are better places. There were 4 of us. 3 of us got our food. Waited over 5 mintues for the last plate to come out of the kitchen. They need to work on their communication. Also the hallway is confusing. People are coming off of the street and checking in. If you come from the hotel cause you are staying there, it's weird to try to get in line. The hostess will not see you are waiting. All while the kitchen is passing in between running food. Just a bad layout for a restaurant. They seem to be doing the best they can. And the seasoned chips have way too much seasoning on them.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch! The food was amazing. Something about their marinara sauce is different than anything my boyfriend and I have ever had. Highly recommend their pizza and garlic knots! Drinks were great, too!

Overall good experience! We loved those bbq chips! The onion rings were undercooked. Recommends the sliders and bbq chips if you go!

We went upstairs and took a seat by the windows. Heard music from the outside and we were able to watch all of the activities down on Fremont. Had a hard time selecting something to eat because the menu was full of great options. Settled on personal pizzas and all of them were fantastic. This wasn't the first time we ate here and it definitely won't be the last. I can't review without commenting on our friendly waitress. Very bubbly and helpful. Everyone that we encountered made our dinner better!
