Came here for pre dinner drinks and so glad to have found this location! Tremendous selection of bourbon. Bartender said 170+ selections!! Notebook of selections very clear and pricing clear as well. They share a kitchen so we were able to order a few appetizers. All excellent. Tremendous service and drinks very well made! Absolutely will return.

This place is a must visit if you love whiskeys. The selection they have here is incredible huge and amazing. Ask the bar staff to recommend something for your liking if you’re unsure of what to try. Love the deco and the ambiance of this place too.

Went to Plantation Whiskey Neat. Big mistake. Gave them a bad review. Sports Quarterdeck just taking up seats watching the game not consuming food nor hardly any drinks. I had to leave because they didn’t have any seats and even people with no drinks nor food hugging up the bar and seats watching the game. Im glad I drove to the FT Lauderdale Location. Got acknowledged quick and service top notch. Got several old fashions and the churrasco steak. Omg it was so good. The crowd and vibe is way different than the other in Plantation. Will be back again and again

If you are into whiskey you Have to go here! I went here for my 21st birthday because I wanted to be a “whiskey guy” and I definitely am one now. They have Sooo many options and i don’t know if this it every day but we got 50% of whiskey on the wall because it was before 9pm. The pretzels are to die for and the fries were flavorful! THE WHISKEY WAS THE SELLING POINT. It was amazing I got a Knob Creek Smoked Maple and a Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.

Walked over from our hotel night before a cruise. Wanted a cocktail and dinner. Definitely would return. Great cocktail menu, fabulous smoked magi dip. Great atmosphere, live music the night we came.

Maybe the bartender was too new... so the old fashioneds were good but they could be better. Awesome place to relax and have some chat with friends. Highly recommend it.

Amazing Place...Great Service and ran by a Good Person. Cocktails that will blow your mind. Awesome options...you can't go wrong. Live DJs on the Weekends. The aura and setting is quaint but nice nice. Good to impress a first date. Good to bring your friends. You can bring your co workers so they can have something to talk about on Monday.

We do Wednesday, almost every Wednesday. Food specials from next door, The Quarterdeck, just add to our enthusiasm. Our waitstaff, Nicky and Michelle, always deliver. They have the best selection and the best mixed in all of Fort Lauderdale! We tried their Private Selection, by Maker's Mark...it was on a level above and has been perfectly blended to satisfy all whiskey connoisseurs. Great mouth feel, pleasant aroma, perfect bite. Everyone must try at least one. If you're looking for great service, awesome selection, and spectacular service...this is your place.

Coming back home to Florida , you want to grab a drink at a chill spot , this is the place . Great for couples for an intimate date, with inside seating & great for a chill night with friends on the outside seating . There's great options with drinks and some even included mocktails , which is always a plus for a bar to have .

Hubby's a whiskey lover; so we thought we'd stop in for a drink at Whiskey Neat on Valentine's night. It is kind of off the beaten path; but seems to be well known by the locals. There were people scattered around inside and on the patio. It shares a the patio with Quarterdeck and it has casual seating, lit-up trees, and a fire pit.. Whiskey Neat has a more intimate and upscale vibe. There is a ladder wall full of every kind of all whiskey. There are high tops and some cozy couches in addition to the bar area. I especially loved the "fireplace" displayed over the bar. We found a high top inside and were quickly approached by a waiter. I ordered an Irish Mule, and my husband ordered a signature old-fashioned called "Dark Side of the Moon." It was made with Basil Hayden Dark Rye, aromatic bitters, brown sugar cube and a filthy cherry. He loved it! ($16). I had an Irish Mule which I really enjoyed as well. This is a great place for whiskey lovers, (although they have a full bar with all kinds of spirits, and food too.). We'll be back!

Updating my review from about 4 years ago when we first went. Everything is still true. Love love love this place. Great drinks. Good food from quarterdeck. The outside courtyard has the best ambiance. The bar has that dark cozy cool feel. But our favorite nights to go now are Thursday nights when Malcolm plays live music. He is the best.

A great area to enjoy an amazingly made whiskey based cocktail for a great price! This is an appropriate whiskey bar where the bartenders will take their time to create a delicious cocktail as opposed to making drinks as fast as possible. The atmosphere is great with a lively comfy interior as well as fireplace outdoor seating where once you order, you can wait and have great conversations. The whiskey cocktails were all good. They make a mean old fashion in 6 different ways here and I wish I had more time to stay and try more of their drinks. If you're in the area, this is the spot if you love whiskey and love to enjoy a well made cocktail. Our bartender was Michelle and I just want to give a huge shout-out to her! She took very good care of our large party and the drinks came out great and very timely for the amount of people we had.

The ambiance is so calm when you come to this spot. If you're thinking about visiting what are you waiting for don't think twice. The drinks were made well and I would definitely return. The staff are helpful, friendly, and informative when it comes to selecting a drink. No paid parking and there's food that you can order that comes from Quarterdeck which is right ne Just a tip: it's a bar for Baltimore Ravens so you're stepping into their territory.

The best!!! This is the place for those in the know. It is a great venue to attend before or after a show at the Patchouge Theater. Always a great time! Rob is the best bartender ever!!

Get your whiskey fix!! Our bartender Michelle was super friendly and gave us amazing whiskey recommendations. We went during October so they have their Halloween themed whiskey cocktails. They have a lot of Halloween decor all around which enhanced the vibe. You also get a free cocktail if you check in on yelp! Definitely check them out!

Interesting place kind of in the middle of nowhere, but completely worth giving a chance. My bartender Michelle did an amazing job making a drink. The way she makes your drink is almost a show you get to enjoy before the drink itself. She definitely puts a lot of care in making the drinks. Fantastic place, good drinks and food looks good too even though I only had time for one drink. PS: I loved that they had a hockey game going, which is not a very popular thing for me.

My wife and I came here to get out of the room for a night and enjoyed our time very much. We sat inside at the bar and ordered a few drinks as well as the pretzel sticks. The smoked old fashioned drinks were some of the best I've had. Most bars make them entirely too sweet and drowns out the bourbon. If you enjoy a stiff old fashioned you will enjoy theirs. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. There was live music that sounded great and it was not too loud that you couldn't hear anything else. Great drinks and great atmosphere.

Whiskey Neat has a cool little vibe to it. Came on a Thursday and they had live music and the guy was really good, some of our fav hits with a country twist to it. Enjoyed him. They have 350 whiskeys to try from. Food menu from Quaterdeck next door. Good service. Will try again

Ordered through Uber eats to satisfy late night sweets craving. Not only was half of my order missing, but it was all disgusting and stale, and none of it tasted homemade.

Great ambiance. Excellent variety of bottles and very good signature cocktails. Servers/bartenders have a lot of knowledge of the various whiskey and what would appeal to your taste. No rush to clear your table. I'll definitely return

Very cool bar with a beautiful outside seating area. Lots of whiskeys to choose from. Service was good. It shares a courtyard with QuarterDeck. I only had drinks but some of the food looked yummy.

You like whiskey? Of course! This is a s a terrific spot in Lauderdale to go to for excellent cocktails and hang. So many choices of whiskeys and cocktails. The bar only serves drinks but courtyard is shared with The Quarterdeck restaurant. Fabulously convenient! Very laid back spot for expertly crafted drinks, fire pits and Adirondack chairs. Pet friendly, comfortable, and highly recommended. They take their drink making very seriously. I had an old school whiskey sour and froth was made with real egg whites! Quality cocktails.

Fun bar across from a busier food/bar establishment. We sat outside late one afternoon in comfortable chairs, enjoying the sunshine and the ambiance. My son had a couple of glasses of wine and I had a whiskey flight, which was great (I just wish the flight glasses held a little more of each drink). We did not eat there but the restaurant across from us provides service to patrons of the Whiskey Bar if desired. I want to go back again next time I am in Florida.

Went to whiskey neat for a quick drink. The atmosphere is amazing, and they take on a dark theme to go along with whiskey. I got the monster smash and it tasted great. The bartender Michelle helped us and took so much care when making the drinks. She was great. This place has a nice outdoor and indoor setting. There's multiple couches inside and chairs outside. They also have games that you could play for free.

Came here on a whim. Had an event earlier in the day for dinner and wanted to get some post dinner drinks. Since I don't live in Ft Lauderdale I busted out my trusty Yelp and was pleased to find this place listed. The place has every whiskey you can imagine along with cocktails that can be created from a menu that looks like a book! You can order food to have it come to you, they do not have a kitchen. However the restaurant is right next door. If you are a whiskey lover this is the place for you. If it were closer to my house I'd probably hang out here. Lots of seating so you can come with a big group or for a date night. You choose!

Such a vibe on a Friday night! The drinks are perfect, the music is great, the atmosphere is just lovely and the service was spot on. It had a good crowd on a Friday around 10pm. It's an unexpected find located next to the new Quarterdeck. I'd say it's perfect for date night or late night drinks. I would definitely return for happy hour as well! It's a perfect spot for Whiskey lovers, with a great selection to choose from, but also offering other liquors and a great beer lineup. So happy to find this spot!

First off let me start by saying, the bartender Nicolette was amazing! She's super knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Her mixologist game is super strong, she's not just your average bartender. I have been dying to try a "Paper Plane" and figured whiskey Neat was the perfect place to try it. Nicolette made it perfectly and even suggested a great bourbon to go in it. Ryan was our other bartender and he made sure everything came out perfectly. This place is such a great addition to QD if you like a cocktail made with love. The food was consistently delicious. Highly recommend coming here!

This place is super cute!! The bar is huge and I love the ambiance in there. I ordered the chai me up which was super cute looking but not how I imagined it to taste. Still good though! Also I'm not a huge drinker so my reviews on the actual drinks probably don't mean much but this place was super cute and our bartenders were nice. I did order curly fries which I inhaled and they also have tater tots but I'm not sure what else they have to eat. My boyfriend and his friends got some old fashions that looked really cool cause the ice cube had the establishments name on it. Overall, we'll probably make this a regular spot for the first stop of our nights since we live across the street now.

Came here with a few friends for a late night hang out. The drinks are great, and I don't normally choose whisky. I had a whisky sour, a classic hit tried a few friends as well. The vibe is cool, there's some space outdoors to hang out as well.

Stopped in here with my husband on a Friday and we were pleasantly surprised by the happy hour! Half off of all starters and there were also some drink specials. We shared the calamari and the Mahi fingers, which were both VERY good! We were served by Ben and he was really friendly. It was a nice atmosphere outside for our toddler to soak up the sun. Overall, great vibe and great food from Quarterdeck next door. We will definitely be back!!

Came here on a whim on a Friday around 5 and was happily surprised by the happy hour. My wife and I ordered the Mahi Fingers and Calamari from Quarterdeck next door for half price. To my surprise we each got a free cocktail from the Yelp check in so I got the two pictured in my review. Great drinks and great service! We sat outside in the big chairs with our toddler and we're waited on by Ben and he was ver attentive. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back!!

You know the best locations are the hole in the wall locations and this one was one of those. The decor is so beautiful and gives you this luxury, cozy feel. Staff is very attentive moment you get to the bar and are quite helpful with drink recommendations. I recommend giving this place a shot if you're looking for good service and a good drink.. or maybe 2. Ha ha

Cool , dark , prohibition style bar with giant selection of whiskeys. They also have other drinks and spirits. Separated by an uncovered courtyard you will find Quarterdeck . You can order food here but food is same menu and comes from the Quarterdeck. Very friendly staff and giant menu to look through . They have some good whiskey, however if your looking for unique or really rare stuff you might be disappointed. I would definitely come back here and try different drinks! Come in and see the girls working the bar! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable and not bad on the eyes!! Eat drink and sip whiskey

Though now temporarily closed Whiskey Neat on account of the Corvi-19 virus pandemic Whiskey Neat is one of my favorite bar hangs. At Whiskey Neat, the bartenders are real pros of the trade. I even feel compelled to refer to them as "mixologists," they are that good. Plus the good drinks with an awesome offering of whiskeys, you can also get some really great foods as Whiskey Neat is a part of the Quarterdeck Restaurants, one of which is right next door and shares courtyard space, which is really a lovely space with a most relaxing atmosphere. While I was there I had a Sagamore Rye Manhattan ($12.00) up to drink along with their Sashimi Deluxe ($24.00). My food server was polite and friendly but what I really liked was the modern comfy purposefully understated whimsical to the quaint side of it décor. It really adds so much to your overall drinking and dining experience.

Great vibe and awesome drinks. They have a situation with Quarterdeck, next door, where you can order food service from them. There's a shared courtyard with TONS of seating and a fire pit. Very relaxed atmo5 and our waitress was very knowledgeable abo5the whiskeys they carry. Between hubby and I we had the Jack B. Armstrong, the Sunset in Jalisco, the Holland Vineyard & a Glenmorangie Lasagna neat. Food-wise, we had the Mahi Mahi Francaise & the Grander burger with onion rings...both were delicious. Definitely, a place we will come back to!

Great atmosphere! Good place to go hang out for some drinks. Service from the bartenders was amazing but once we moved to a table our waitress was horrible. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she barely came to check on us we would be waiting forever with empty grass waiting to order a new drink. I still would go again just because the atmosphere is great. It's connected to the new quarterdeck so you also can order food from there. PS: the Whadya Say? off the Cocktail Menu is really tart.

We were seated inside by the couch/lounge area and just absolutely loved the vibe. Our cocktails were delicious and really liked how they incorporate the name into the ice cubes. Fun touch !

Fantastic whisky bar in east Ft. Lauderdale. Came for a date night and was impressed to see this little spot nestled right next door to the OG Quarterdeck restaurant. They share a patio space between the two restaurants and have live music most nights. They don't really have a host, you kind of just sit wherever is open. We sat at the bar and had an absolutely wonderful bartender whipping up amazing drinks! I stuck with an old fashioned and even tried a whisky sour (made the proper way, IYKYK)! All the ladies there were killing it and were very pleasant. We were also amazed at their huge liquor wall and these bartenders scaling the wall on this huge ladder to get bottles from high up was entertaining to say the least! So the food for this bar actually comes from Quarterdeck since they don't have their own kitchen. We ordered the fish dip appetizer was phenomenal. I also ordered a roll of sushi for dinner which I was very impressed with the quality and size of the roll. He ordered a French onion soup and a buffalo chick wrap. All the food was amazing and so were the drinks. This location does get a bit busy with the after work crowd. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely visit again soon!

Went two times first time Brian assisted us and was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Second time Michele was our bartender and also amazing so sweet and amazing bartender.

Cool space and likely a fantastic spot for those who are just learning about whiskeys, but I found the selection to be limited to what is nationally and easily available. My friends and I shared two whiskey flights (Bourbon and Scotch) and both flights were nicely curated middle of the road whiskeys. Also, despite it's name, Whiskey should be served with a side of water. A matter of personal preference but even neat whiskey should be accompanied by water for the drinker to add if he/she so chooses. Adding a little water to whiskey will open up the nose and bring out more nuanced flavors as well as tame any harsh burn on less aged or higher proof whiskeys.

Such a cool bar! I totally loved it! Went there for a network event and will be back on a different day to experience the full experience they have to offer!

Vibey, loud Saturday night DJ, yummy cocktails and great whiskey! Definitely a place for some fun! The food next door is available for you to order but wasn't great, however, after drinking Im sure it's better! Enjoy!!

Great spot! Band was soooo cool and hipster! Our waiter Ben gave us superb service! The whisky collection and cocktails are awesome and creative. Unfortunately the most simple and only menu item we ordered was really bad! The wings!!!!! We ordered them with teriyaki sauce. They came dry, crunchy, and tasted like oil and like they had been under a heat lamp all night! Not tossed well and sauce was not baked on. Our waiter was kind enough to bring g us extra. These were bland.
