Whiskey Neat Plantation

Do glad we found Whiskey Neat while here in Florida! Thank you to the bartender and waiter on St Pattys day(sorry I did not get names) they were great. I had the Misunderstood Love and then asked the bartender to make a specific drink for me and she nailed it!! My husband had a Manhattan and got to try a few different rye whiskeys. Very nice atmosphere. We did not have any food.

There was a soccer game or football game and the place was packed. Not able to find a seat and staff didn’t acknowledge me. A table was open but it said it was reserved at 10:13 pm. Had no choice but to leave. People coming in and leaving. Just people with set up not there to accommodate more people. A very large whole section just with a huge couch.——-04/18/2025 Updated Review—Often go to the FT Lauderdale Whiskey Neat location. Always eat the same. Churrasco Steak. It’s so good. Plantation location was such a disappointment I almost left and went to FtLauderdale Location. Veggies were not grilled or roasted as other location. So weird the same exact quarter deck company has night and day taste. Back kitchen in Plantation rushes dishes out and does not even season food. I for the first time had to ask for salt and pepper. I have ate the same plate over 7 times with same exact perfect consistency in FTLauderdale location. If you care about taste then drive some more and skip the Plantation location. Hardly any seats because of the spill over of Quarterdeck attached. FT Lauderdale keeps patrons separate and crowd is more upscale. Added pictures as proof. I heard about Whiskey Neat from some friends and had to check it out... especially for the speakeasy vibes. When we got to Quarterdecks we asked the hostess where Whiskey Neat was and she pointed us to the rear of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the night we visited had a bunch of people hanging out watching the Canes play. It was late in the game and everyone was pretty wasted... and really loud. TVs were also cranked up really loud. Staff did nothing to try and keep the noise down. You could tell people sitting around them were visibly annoyed. The drinks were good. Had a great smoked old fashioned. Was expecting better and will have to go again on a night with no games or obnoxious drunks. Would be a better vibe if there were some live music.

Kylie was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back! The drink Kylie makes were on point and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this business to others. Kylie did an amazing job she was very professional, efficient, and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Kylie any day!!!!

Me & my boys come almost every Monday for the half off apps / $6 burgers and Kylie always serves us and is super friendly and helpful with anything we need, super knowledgeable on the whiskeys when we have questions, love this place.

Not a speakeasy. Has a main door. Not really hidden. It’s a very simple bar inside Quaterdeck. Food was very average. Waiter was not friendly. Not a big variety of whiskey. At least the things that we asked for in the menu, they didn’t have. There is a very strong bathroom smell throughout the bar, very very strong. Strange crowd. Will not go back.

Whiskey Neat! One of our favorite date-night locations. It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you step inside, you are transported into a small-like speakeasy per say. It has a romantic/rustic vibe to it which I adore. It's dim and red lighting is everything and I like the fact they have a big couch where you can just sit back, relax and enjoy your old fashion or cocktail. The nice thing is that the bartender will come to you to place your drink/food orders. Now for we are really here for.. the drinks! Typically, we order their old fashions. I mean.. you are in WHISKEY neat right. I recommend the "Jack Armstrong" because it is STRONG with it's 100 Proof Rye but it's also tasty and made to perfection. That's also my husbands go-to drink. I've also tried the "Dark Side of the Moon" - recommend if you enjoy a more smokey taste to your old fashion. Many of my friends enjoy this old-fashion. Also the "Up All Night" - I can't hype this old fashion enough. It's a good one to end your night with since it has bourbon, cold brew, and cold brew liqueur. It was SO darn good, I'm not sure if I prefer this over an expresso martini. Even though whiskey-neat looks like it's only a bar, you can order food as well as QuarterDeck is right next door and it seems QuarterDeck is affiliated with Whiskey Neat or it's an extension. Food items are more like where you would find in a a sports bar. We like to order as an appetizer the Smoked Mahi Dip and the Mahi finger dippers. You can never go wrong with neither of the two. And I recently ordered for dinner the Mahi Franchise and it was SO worth it! The portion of the Mahi was huge and it was cooked perfectly and juicy. It was on top of a bed of spaghetti and had a side of steamed broccoli. I loved it so much I know I will order it again in the future. Love coming to Whiskey Neat, it's a much try if you are in the area!

A fun "speak easy" type atmosphere here at Whiskey Neat. It's almost a hidden gem, for years I did not know this bar was down in the darker part of the parking lot, connected to the Quarter Deck on Sunrise Blvd. I've been coming here every so often after discovering it, and each time I've had an amazing time! The cocktails are wonderful, served up by some skilled bartenders, some may even do a trick or two to add to the experience. The bar does get packed very quickly, and as the night progresses, it will get very loud. The bar itself has plenty of seating, few tables throughout along with a step up area with a few love seats and sofa, for a more intimate feel. They play a variety of music, some nights they host a live Dj. A must if you're into the dim lighting ambience to enjoy a little night cap.

Low key spot with chill vibes. It's located right next door to Quarterdeck. It's actually connected to Quarterdeck with a door/passageway on the inside. The spot is cozy with dim lighting and comfortable seating. They have a couple large screen TVs behind the bar and cool tunes playing. The service was friendly. Whiskey Neat is a cocktail bar but they serve/offer food from the Quarterdeck menu. Craft Cocktails: Pink Lady & Fall'n for You (both absolutely delightful) Food: Seasoned medium Buffalo wings (juicy & delicious) and medium Buffalo fried shrimp (plump & perfectly cooked) The evening was enjoyable from start to finish.

Came here for happy hour with the guys and was very pleased with the overall experience . Got here on a Wednesday and turns out on Wednesday all whiskeys are half off - so had a ball with that . Great food , great selection , and great service !!! Will be back !

Came here after a hockey game and had an amazing time. Loved everything and servers were attentive and on top of everything. We ordered appetizers and liked everything we got.

I've never heard of this place and it was recommended to try out since I was in the area. As you can guess by the name they have all things whiskey. It felt like a speakeasy. I ordered an old fashioned -- Dark Side of the Moon. I switched out the whiskey for one of my liking and it was perfect. I ordered a second drink of a whiskey sour and it was just okay. I think this was due to another bartender making my drink. There wasn't many food options for me to pick from so I settled on the Steamers 3 dozen (steamed clams). This seemed like more empty clam shells than actually clams and it's more of an appetizer than it is an entree which it is listed as. I would return here just for the drinks.

Love this place! We go here often as it's open late at night and they have excellent cocktails and service! Kenny and Jackie are great. Always friendly and they make great drinks, you can tell they love their work. As for the cocktails and bourbon/whiskey selections, you will not find a better selection. Their Jack D Armstrong old fashioned is crafted to perfection with a smoked glass and all. My wife loves the Chai Me Up complete with egg whites to give it that silky smooth finish. If you looking for a fun place out in west Broward with expertly crafted cocktails and an extensive bourbon selection this is the spot!

Cute place, nicely decorated with good drinks and food. If you go during the day, service is fast and efficient. If you go in the evening on the weekend, service might be a little slow, where going straight to the bar will probably be faster than waiting for someone to bring you a drink.. overall, i enjoy going to this bar. They place a variety of music so there is always something for everyone and they have seating which is first come first serve. Pretty cool place to watch a game at, if that's what you're interested in doing.

Okay drinks but on both of my visits I was served a drink in a broken glass, one cut my lip. My drink was replaced, but the server had to ask. My last visit, some guy who I assume was an off-duty worker or manager actually followed us out to the parking lot to accuse us of skipping out on our check! (we waited forever for our bill while the server gabbed and then went to the bar to pay). Not really a speakeasy, it's a bar attached to a restaurant with no ambiance. The food is mid.

Great little spot in the back area of Quarterdeck! So yes, if your parties get confused, tell them it's Quartdeck's Speakeasy! Their happy hour menu 50% off Appetizers & well drinks, beers, etc. Their HH Old Fashion is perfect at $7! There's a nice lounging area, so get there early to snag it! We went during the Cats (Panthers) playoffs & the place was a huge party! It got a bit chaotic, so our server got stuck behind the bar & we sadly missed the last call for HH. We'll just set a timer next time!

Whiskey Neat is a wonderful option in Plantation and just around from Sawgrass. The menu is great with extensive choices in Whiskey and scotch. The staff is friendly and Justin, my bartender, did an amazing job! The food comes from Quarterdeck, as the two bars share the same bldg. The ambiance was electric while I was there, but it might just been the Panthers hockey playoff game.

Loved the bourbon options! I'm a big bourbon collector so I always appreciate the rare finds! The prices were not bad at all and I drank bookers. The ambience was speak easy lounge vibes. It was dimly lit and soft music playing in background. We caught a hockey game where they have a few TVs playing. The staff was attentive and drinks were constantly being poured. We had a huge group and they did a great job getting to all of us.

I went here for a date night and it was memorable . The cocktails were pretty good but the ambiance and good stole the show

Very cool trendy bar located on Sunrise Blvd. in Plantation, FL. It just opened recently so it wasn't overcrowded when we went. As soon as you enter, the decor captures your full attention. Pretty reds with fireplace images on the large TV's. Beautiful bar area and the seating area decor was calming but vibrant. Great ambiance. The service was great. Friendly, helpful and we were taken care of right away. I ordered the Dark Side Of The Moon Old Fashioned ..... ahhhh yeah get this drink! Yum. They are located right beside Quarterdeck (same owners) so their food menu is from Quarterdeck. Nice plus. I'll def be back again.

The only star I'm taking away is because they took away the quarterdeck pool tables to create this new bar. But it's definitely worth the uplift to quarterdeck's sports bar vibe to introduce a different crowd. You can also order beautifully crafted cocktails AND a great clam chowder from the quarterdeck kitchen. Our bartender was great.

I was excited to visit whiskey neat since I like a good old fashion. It's been on my list for quite some time. Arrived at the location per my GPS and I was lost. I found myself on the other side of the plaza. Then I received a call from the person waiting on me who talk me it's next to I believe Flanagans. I parked, walked in and it was extremely loud. I noticed a door opened to the restaurant and that's when I realized whiskey neat was not a separate establishment. It would have been okay but the music was loud, women were acting trashing and it was just a mess. Why did I even get dressed up. I should have showed up in crappy clothes and it would have been okay. The positive is the water was EXTREMELY nice. I wish I got his name. We first ordered from the menu and then the second time I asked him for recommendations and he was right on. The food menu is the same as Flanagans so I didn't order a things which was a disappointment. I guess my search will continue for something more quaint and classy.

Part speakeasy, part dive bar. They finally opened the annex next to Quarterdeck. It is darker and cozier inside with a nice sized bar and a few hightops and booths. Their liquor selection is tremendous, and the prices are reasonable. We spoke with the bar tender for a few minutes, and we got a good amount of information. They are still part of Quarterdecks as they have the same food menu and the same happy hour specials except on Wednesday. They have half off the bar liquor, but it is slightly a smaller pour. Inside, there are 2 virtual fireplace tv's to give off a cozier feel. Is is definitely quieter inside as there is no sports or loud music at the bar. Service is good and it is much less crowded than their connected sports bar next door. They use the same kitchen and menu as Quartedecks and the same Happy Hour specials. They are open a little later than Quarterdecks too.

I was super excited to hear that a Whiskey Neat was opening out west by me so I made plans to check it out the week it opened. It's located right beside Quarterdeck on Sunrise Blvd. and Flamingo Rd. You'll see the awning change from the Quarterdeck green to black. The black is Whiskey Neats location. Upon entering, the decor is exactly what you'd expect from a whiskey bar: dark and moody with a nice size bar on the right and tables and couches on the left. There is an interior door between them and Quarterdeck so you can roam freely between the two places. Even though I arrived within 10 minutes of opening there was already a good number of people inside. I managed to grab two seats at the bar and ordered a Knob Creek Smoked Maple on the rocks while waiting for my friend. If maple is your thing this is the one to try. It was fantastic. The whiskey menu is extensive. If you like whiskey, you'll like this place. They also offer non-whiskey cocktails, wine and beer and you can order food from the Quarterdeck menu. We were there for happy hour so all appetizers were half off and they had specials on wine and beer. I also tried the Misunderstood Love cocktail made with ginger spiced whiskey. It was very good with the perfect mix of spice and sweet. This is a great date night place and since they offer drinks other than whiskey anyone can go. Definitely check them out.

A wonderful whiskey lounge and bar! Staff is super nice and attentive. Everyone is welcoming as well. Plenty of indoor seating and food can be ordered through the conjoining restaurant. Plenty of whiskey options and whiskey cocktails. They do have a select few signature cocktails that do no include whiskey as well. My fiancé enjoyed the up all night old fashioned with cold brew liqueur. Mentioned it was very smooth. The custom Whiskey Neat ice was cool too! I tried the Pink Lady. It has a great presentation as well as flavor! Slightly tart yet still sweet. The Prosecco was a fun addition. We definitely enjoyed coming in on a whim and will be back to try more!

Whiskey Neat is a really cool new cocktail lounge that recently opened here in Plantation. We tried it out with friends last night for the first time, and it did not disappoint. It's location is adjacent to Quartedeck. When you walk in you are transported to a cool speakeasy kind of vibe. We found our friends tucked in a corner table in the dim lit back corner. Our waitress greeted us promptly, and I ordered their cocktail special of the month which was delish. The guys shared a platter of Blackened Mahi Fingers. Since Whiskey Neat shares the same kitchen as Quarterdeck, you are able to order right from their menu. So super happy to have this great new option to enjoy for an evening out- right in our backyard. Cheers!

First time here and i was impressed at the new bar. It felt like the theme or decor was steam punk or an old speak easy bar...it really looked great. A dim lit room with a long bar and a comfy couch and a few high tables. Tried two cocktails - "Misunderstood and Love" and "Pink Lady". The bartender made the smokey whiskey in front of us - very cool. Would go back.

We love taking a break from the work week and enjoying whiskey Wednesdays. Service is always on point.

Kenny was crazy funny, made incredible artisan drinks. Honestly, the drinks were great, the bartenders are great, the crowd was great and the music, the music and the vibe were totally rad. Above all though, Kenny's sense of humor and willingness to laugh with us was the best part.

This place is a hidden gem. I don't even know if I should post this review because it might get packed next time I go. The attention we got was amazing. Everyone of the staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks were carefully crafted and the atmosphere was awesome. The food is from Quarterdeck next door and they bring you their menu. Both places are interconnected. I had a great time and I will be going back for happy hour.

I really dig this spot. This is an example of how Broward can be cool too. I found this spot in a quick search for chill bars while in the area and decided to scope it out. I got lost looking for it but once I figured it out, I knew I had scored. It's so important to have comfortable barstools & this place grasps that. Their specialty cocktail menu certainly inspired me to order my usual favorited espresso martini but with their twist on it. I kept ordering it back to back because it was so delicious. I think I've come here like three times now and each time has been enjoyable. The service is individualized and precise while the ambience is lowkey yet vibrant at the same time. It's located in a strip mall so parking isn't a hassle. They're open later than the watering holes nearby and offer more panache than this sleepy part of Broward typically gets credit for. It's the perfect stop for a nightcap with friends or on a date. It's refined yet festive-I'm a fan.

Whiskey Neat is a very interesting speakeasy type bar that is associated with Quarterdeck. If you didn't know this, or if they had a bit more of a separation it would be definitely be worth a five star rating. But because of the traffic in and out from Quarterdeck and the shared kitchen, I gave them four stars. The bartenders were very attentive and provided great service, the drinks were well made and delicious, but a bit overpriced. I guess that's what you would expect from bar like this. Definitely worth checking it out. I'd say it's an especially nice change for locals.

Wednesday when it's half off, most selections gives you the opportunity to kick back and relax. had one experience so far and it was great, and the food that was ordered. This was such a cool and unique spot! The room menu was the same as quarter decks but this gives a very different ambiance allowing for a speakeasy vibe! This is definitely a hang out spot I'd go to again! The bartenders were great! It would be helpful if they had a few more staff to help out but overall great experience!

Ok I am Biased, whiskey is my go to, so anyplace whiskey centric takes a lot for me not to like it. That being said, I really liked the selection, the cocktails were incredibly interesting, very good people working, and atmosphere was aesthetically on par with any upper level location, music also good had a really nice evening, tried one of old fashions and a couple of whiskeys I've never tried before.

Drinks were amazing and the ambiance is very nice but space is small and was crowded. The food could be better but it comes from the quarter deck restaurant next door. Overall I would definitely recommend for the drinks.

We went to the special Basil Hayden tasting event. We had such a great time. They had live music with The Copper Tones and the place was really busy. Sophie (the GM) was touching every table. Came over several times and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend Whiskey Neat!

Great speakeasy local bar vibe! We have been meaning to try this place, and finally went last night. It definitely did not disappoint. If you're looking to just sit down, have a drink, and good conversation, with a very cool vibe, this is your place. Love that it's local and we can stop at any time. Nice ambiance for a whiskey bar. Intimate space, nicely decorated. Unfortunately, at the time we went yesterday, 7pm it is was pretty full. We entered, stood and waited for over 20 minutes. During that time none of the servers, bartenders or even the manager approached us. After waiting that long we decided to leave. Customer service fail.
