We chose to sit outside as it was a great night. Our server was newer & he was great! They were super busy as they had a fox trot run & trivia on a Wednesday night. Their food was really good, we will be back. The potato taco was on point. Their peanut butter old fashion.. yup!

I love this restaurant. I literally order delivery at least 2 to 3 times a month. I ordered a few weeks prior and the food was so messed up that they gave me a $20 Credit. After giving me issues about using my credit, I ordered two days ago. Everything was fantastic. So, I figured why not order today. First of all, the grease from the beef tacos is insane. I mean Taco Bell meat is less greasy than this. Then, a small order of quesadillas where the beans were liquid and pretty much all over the container. The two margaritas were lukewarm, and usually they are cold. This was just a mess all the way around. I’m not a cheap person. I throw down at least 70 bucks plus tip every time I order. However, after today’s meal, I don’t think I’m going to be re-ordering from them. It’s a shame because I love the people that take my orders and the delivery people are fantastic. I would look at my photo so you can see the amount of grease from the tacos and I did fix the beans up a bit, but they still look pretty bad. I finally did get a response from a manager, and he literally accused me of not tipping the servers or the delivery drivers. Which is total BS because when I go into eat, I always tip at least 25%. Also, when I get delivery it’s 2.5 miles to my house and I give the delivery driver $10-$11. I was accused of not tipping delivery drivers and not tipping servers well, if the server takes my order and I’m not aware that they need that tip for spending two minutes of their time with me then how am I supposed to tip them? One of the delivery drivers told me if I paid by credit card whoever took my order gets all of the money and the driver gets nothing. I find that appalling and offensive and that is why I pay cash now. I’m never ordering from them again I spend hundreds of dollars a month on booze and food from them. There’s no consistency whatsoever. It wouldn’t be bad if one out of every four meals were crummy, but every other meal is unacceptable. I’m sure they don’t care that they’ve lost a customer who spends over $300 a month with them – sometimes even more. But, to be accused of not tipping is appalling when I make sure to tip well as I work in a tip based business. FYI, the gentleman who delivered my food last Sunday was about to leave it at my house with me and runoff and I could have let him do that but I owed $55 on my bill and then I threw a $10 tip in for him. I could’ve been slimy or selfish and just took the food and told him to have a nice day, but I’m honest and I do not appreciate to be accused of lying.

I left my take out box (on purpose) and the waitress ran outside after us to bring it out. That's the only reason they get any stars. The food was absolutely diabolically terrible. Nothing had flavor. The rojo sauce tasted like ketchup with El Paso taco seasoning warmed up. I'm sick man. The rice kernals were hard. The beans were not great but edible. Our queso was cold and hard when it got to the table. But our server was accommodating and friendly. This place sucked balls. Drinks were okay. We were told we couldn't sit at a high top. It was freezing by the main door. The chimichurri was like leather. The ground beef tasted like cinnamon.

Shrimp Bowl and Carnitas Bowl carry-out today were both outstanding. It's the first time we've tried WTF and the staff at pick-up were so welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to try other menu items that look good.

Google
Great atmosphere and excellent food. Our waitress started out great, explained how everything worked and all that. But they she kept disappearing for long periods of time. We were done eating and ready to go for about 10 minutes before she came and gave us our check. And of course we ran out of water multiple times.

Google
Great spot with some really nice food! The salsa was great, so as 🥑 guacamole! And the plate of nachos was huge! We went for the chicken nachos and were happy with how it tasted! more guac on top of it! Service was fast , even though they were quite busy on the memorial day weekend! especially considering that it was one of a very few places open on Monday afternoon. Interior is nice, outside seating area is great!

Google
Great food, amazing service. A fine place to spend a Friday date night with the hubs.

Google
The food was good. Service sucked. Saw the server 1x (1 drink and order), and they never came back. Had to go to the bar and order my own 2nd drink. No plates/dishes were cleared from the table. (We had a large party) I never received my bill and later found out we had to figure out the bill ourselves. No one was helpful.

Joyce D.

Yelp
I thought the fresh guacamole & queso were good. (I wouldn't bother with the salsa & regular guacamole.) Chips were nicely salted & crisp, a little on the thicker side but it made them puffy & flakey. Rock 'n rye taco was good. I think the battered fried onions on top were homemade & delish! I'd look for those on the menu items!

Leslie S.

Yelp
Horrible service from the manager. I order so much from this restaurant and 75% of the time it's crap. 25% of the time it's good. This was one week ago Sunday and if you look to the right, you can see just how much grease one taco is. If you look to the left, you can see that the beans were basically watery and all over my food. I did clean it up to make it look a little decent, but it's still in my opinion-looks like junk. I had a horrible interaction via Facebook messenger today with the manager who thinks that he helped me out so much by giving me or should I say by actually letting me get $20 off my order that I was promised from the time before. Also, I tip very well, whether I'm in the restaurant or I get delivery. I was then accused by this manager, saying that I "never "tip". That I don't tip the server or the delivery person. I don't know if I'm supposed to tip the server when I order over the phone, but I've never heard of such a thing. I do remember one of the delivery drivers telling me that if I paid credit card and put a tip on the credit card that the driver would not get the tip and the server would. I find that disgusting and that is now why I always pay cash. I pay cash for all my meals because in my opinion, it helps out small businesses to use cash instead of credit cards. I have never tipped under 25% when I've eaten in the restaurant and I've always given the delivery drivers $10 or more for my meals. I don't think that's a bad tip for someone who has to drive 2.5 miles to my home. I'm so appalled by the way I was treated that they lost a customer who spends an easy $300 if not more a month at this restaurant. I remember when it first opened during the end of Covid and ordering a $12 shot of patron only to get a five day old lemon with my shot. I wasn't too happy, but I didn't complain because I ended up having a nice time and the people that worked there were pretty decent. Oh yeah, I gave him a big tip, but according to Mr. manager, I just am so cheap. I don't tip anyone. I've gone there many times for happy hour and I feel that I've tipped extremely appropriate. Whenever I've eaten there, I tip well. Whenever I order food that is messed up 50% of the time I still tip very well. To be told by this manager that I don't tip well is not only offensive, but it's a bold face lie. they've lost a customer and I'm sure they don't care but it is what it is. I don't expect multiple meals for free as over the past three years. I've received $20 off my order for them totally screwing my food up. I was told that they're going to look into better ways of storing their food for delivery or carry out. That might work since a few times I ordered the taco grease was all over my vegetarian tacos, but there should not be that much grease on a freaking beef taco. I mean the grease is so awful. I can't even explain it. FYI - when I received this meal, the gentleman who delivered it last Sunday had a very cute sweater on and I said oh your sweater is fabulous. He then handed me my food and went to leave and told me to have a great day. I had hadn't paid him for the food. I could've been a total jerk and got away with $55 and free food but instead I mentioned to him that I owe him money plus I threw another $10 tip on. But, apparently I'm just too cheap when it comes to tipping out people at this restaurant. Even my mother and my friends ask me why I tipped so much. I work in a business that I rely on tips so I am very cognizant of tipping well. To the point where I over tip. They lost a three-year customer and they really need to learn some customer service skills because the BS I've heard is just gross.

Yelp
We went there for their trivia Tuesday they host from 8-10pm every week.. this was probably the best trivia experience I've had since the whole bar is playing.. there were about 20-22 teams.. we are going there again today to try on more food.. most of their tacos are 5$ each and they're not the best but definitely worth trying different variety as I'm yet to find my favorite.. Not a lot of seating place they have and gets a bit noisy too, also have to make a reservation atleast on the days they're hosting special events coz it fills up so fast!

Nawana L.

Yelp
Stopped in while Christmas shopping for a drink and was surprised to get a drink in a Santa mug! Service was quick and the staff is very friendly. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the locals.

Yelp
WTF is a solid neighborhood bar. I love that they're so engaged with the community, and that they come out to sell margs when there are movies in the street, etc. Their margs are great, bartenders are great, but most often I get margs to go because I don't love being in the space. It's got a little bit of a chaotic vibe, and is usually pretty loud. I do frequent the patio in the summer, but it is on a busy road so not the most chill vibes? Biggest down side is that the table service is hit or miss. We came close to kitchen-last-call one night and had a super weird interaction with a server who (first of all sat down at our table un-invited .. we didn't know him) and *kinda* said the kitchen was closing, but then let us order, but was weird about it. So we ate, but felt bad? It was so weird. As far as the tacos - they're solid. Lots of options traditional and non-traditional.

Yelp
We were meeting up with some people and decided to meet here for Cinco. This was my first time here and I was excited to check it out. As you can imagine it was crazy busy. The service was a tad slow but nothing unexpected. We ordered nachos and queso and ate every bite. We got margaritas and just enjoyed our time together. I like the vibe in here. I would absolutely come back!

Lynette R.

Yelp
The variety of tacos is amazing! I love the menu options. I didn't try anything from the long list of alcoholic beverages. Will make sure I'm able next visit. The service was a bit slow. When the food arrived, it wasn't very hot like it had been sitting for a bit. The place wasn't overly busy either. Otherwise the place had a nice cool vibe to it. I've been here when they had karaoke and it's a blast.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Okay, but not fantastic. My first impression was really bad as some woman (not my server) came up and immediately berated me for "seating myself". I informed her there was a sign up front that said to seat yourself. Of course she just looked mad I called her out on her BS and then gave me the most unconvincing "oh, sorry, didn't realize" in response. Our actual server, super nice. Me and my friend each got tacos, which were supposed to be on happy hour special. We had to remind our server about it. We started with chips and salsa; the salsa was definitely from a jar and not homemade but it was fine. I got the chimchurri steak and I loved the sauce, but the steak was a bit over cooked for my personal liking. The rock and the carnitas taco was by far my favorite. The "soft crunchy soft chicken" was okay. Drinks were good. I love the peanut butter old fashioned which I had in the past and wanted to come back to try the food. It was pretty obvious they wanted us out, since our server threw the check down and didn't ask if we wanted anything else. Overall, I'm not impressed. For the price and service, I'll just stick with Imperial.

Yelp
Visited here recently, & mostly unimpressed. Is it a restaurant? Is it a bar? Bar with food, I think. We ordered chips & queso, which was good but VERY spicy. Chips are the thicker type of tortilla chips. We each ordered a couple of tacos. I got the steak with chimichurri--very little steak & grisly-chewy. Yuck. The other was the Asian chicken, which was pretty good. It's pieces of fried chicken & they were so fried, they were hard to chew. Husband had the Rock & Rye, a slow cooked pork, which he said was delicious. He also had the Asian Chicken. Total bar vibe, they added a stage to the front corner, and they had a private painting class going on in a partially closed off area in the middle. They have gone nights & karaoke. Our server was very attentive & friendly.

Yelp
This place is great! Flavorful and quality Mexican food with an extensive drink list. Indoor and patio seating. Large bar and tons of specialty drinks. Great service and a kind waitstaff. Good for a date night or drinks/food with a small friend group.

Greg B.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to get tacos and a cold beer, this is the place. I would not say that the tacos are OMG the best I ever had, but they are very good. This place gets busy, and it gets a little loud. It's definitely a casual dining experience. I've been here a couple times now and service is good however their kitchen is small and they use it as an excuse sometimes if you have to wait. The menus pretty self-explanatory and pretty simple to navigate. Give it a try and make your own decision.

Kim L.

Yelp
First time here with a friend. I got the birria tacos and she got the fried avocado tacos. We also got chips & salsa which was just ok, the chips had uneven salt on them, so one bite might be plain, and the next was like eating a spoonful of salt. I ordered a side of rice & beans with my tacos. The birria tacos were pretty good, but either the dipping sauce or the tacos were a bit too spicy for me. My mouth was on fire - I don't enjoy that. I've never had birria tacos that spicy before, so it was hard to eat them, I didn't finish. The beans and rice were a disappointment - the beans were probably canned and just heated up, then they put a few sprinkles of cheese on top. The rice was flavorless, I mean flavorless. Even though it was reddish in color I couldn't taste anything - it was actually worse then just eating plain white rice. So - I'd probably go again just because it's super close to my house, but I'd skip the chips & salsa and try and different type of taco or something else and hope things are better next time.

Yelp
I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place! It definitely exceeded expectations and was a fantastic experience. Very friendly and attentive service. I loved the food!! Every bite was packed full of flavor. Every bite was full of the freshest ingredients and I could taste the homemade touch. Fresh and spicy salsas. I enjoyed the homemade chips and red salsa given to us when we sat down, and I thoroughly enjoyed my cheese enchiladas, topped with salsa verde. The sides of rice and beans were top notch too. The rice had excellent flavor and the beans were creamy and topped with cheese. My friend really liked her birria tacos too. I had a yummy cocktail called "I Carried A Watermelon", which was a rum cocktail with watermelon purée and topped with fresh mint. Excellent cocktail and wine list. I was also happy to see that Detroit City Distillery Whiskey was featured here too. I'm a big fan. I was plenty full but I couldn't resist their homemade churros for dessert! Wow!! So good! There are two dining rooms and a bar area too. Large free parking lot in the back. This restaurant also has a whiskey society that hosts monthly events and I'm planning on joining. What a great find!!

Matthew D.

Yelp
Good service and staff is knowable about the menu. Tacos were very tasty, had a variety of three different types.

Jenna M.

Yelp
We ordered carry out - chicken chimichanga and taco salad and both were outstanding. Everything was fresh. The chips and salsa were also perfect.

Jason F.

Yelp
Great place. Food and service was top notch. And the story about the owners being ex military I thought was dead on. A++

Hassan A.

Yelp
Once a year I bother to write a review. Today is the day for 2024. We waited 30 minutes for 2 tacos and a burrito that never showed up. Waitress did not bother to apologize or check on us. I asked if they had started to make the food after 25 minutes and she went to kitchen and instead came back with someone else's order ( who showed up 10 minutes after us). Of you are going to do a job at least try to care about all customers.

S B.

Yelp
An amazing local spot is full of characters and fresh ingredients which makes for creative and yummie food options. Great space inside that is not too loud. Did not sit outside but it was popular. The best salsa in Michigan, imo. Loved my stuffed poblano and tacos disappeared quickly! Bartender was great and helpful picking from thier large selection of beers and custom drinks. They have trivia and bands weekly and a parking lot in back...with no requirement to back in your vehicle

Anthony F.

Yelp
Great spot in heart of downtown Clawson. Great patio and ample indoor seating for small and large parties. Sat at bar and server was very helpful. Started with a whiskey flight of recommendations he had. If you like whiskey try the Angels Envy and Basil Hayden Bourbon. Food was very good. Would highly recommend the fried avocado taco. Panko Battered Fried Avocado, Pickled Onion, Cabbage Slaw, Pico De Gallo, and Cilantro Aioli.

Al W.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Service is great. My family enjoys the tacos, nachos, and burritos. The queso and salsas are always interesting and delicious. Great for dinner or just drinks!

Jessica P.

Yelp
Small tacos so order a verity but so good. They have live music which is always a bonus and the cocktails are great. Service is quick!

Melissa C.

Yelp
I thought it was really cute inside. The service was questionable. Ordered happy hour priced tacos and had to remind my server about it when the check came. Also, never asked for the check but it was brought to me so I felt rushed out of there. The food was really good, but I felt it was incredibly expensive. I didn't leave with leftovers, only had two drinks and my bill was almost $50? I wouldn't be in a hurry to come back but it was good

Patrick J.

Yelp
I absolutely love Whiskey Taco Foxtrot. They have a great little spot here in downtown Clawson. The service is always quick and friendly. They have a great patio along with a fun little bar. They have live music on thursdays along with other events like trivia. Everything from the tacos to the chimichangas are delicious. I absolutely love this place to get my marg and taco fix.

Meredith C.

Yelp
Despite the 3 stars, I really enjoyed our night here. My thing with Mexican food is if I want it, I'll go down to Mexican Village in Detroit. The drinks were good - the frozen strawberry margarita was better than I thought, not super sweet. I had a jalapeño margarita which had good flavor but wasn't very cold...even though it was on ice. It's like they made the margarita without ice and poured it on top? Not sure - I don't usually make them at home! Anyways....minor detail. The chips were great! Thick and really crispy and paired well with the seasonal salsa (which was more like a pico consistency), House salsa, queso and guac. The house salsa had kick which I like but lacked in flavor (more of a tomato flavor). I wish the seasonal salsa had a thinner consistency but flavor was great. The birria tacos were good, my friends enjoyed their nachos, and the enchiladas were ok. The rice and beans that came with the enchiladas were good but again, lacked in the flavor profile. The rice was a tad hard, too. I feel their ambience lacks a little something and the back room is full of pretty standard tables and chairs that could use a little sprucing. They do have a fabulous outdoor patio and the Service was great! Overall, it's a great place to get together with friends and as I said, the food wasn't terrible! I would definitely go back and give them another try.

Annie A.

Yelp
The server told me that everything that they serve has a little spice to it, because of the marinade that they use for the meat. I wish that I would have know that before coming to the restaurant. I ordered the chicken parmesan taco, fajita taco and soft crunchy soft chicken and they were all too spicy for me. The guacamole was the only thing that I was able to eat. (Queso was also spicy.) Margaritas were cheap and strong. They had live music when we visited but it was really loud so we asked to be seated in the back so that we'd be able to have a conversation.

Charles W.

Yelp
This place has terrific tacos and great service! Awesome restaurant. Like the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Chris D.

Yelp
The food menu here is extensive and how you place the order provides more customization to your food. You receive an order sheet and place your order by checking the items you want with qty., kind of like ordering sushi but with ability to choose what you want in your tacos, burritos, enchiladas and the type of taco wrapping-flour, corn, lettuce. Drink menu is also just as extensive if not more. If you are a whiskey aficionado then this is a place for you This is pretty good Tex mex and portions were filling. Definitely has fresh ingredients. Ground beef chimichanga was very delicious as was the fried avocado and bang bang shrimp. The slaw and pickled onions along with the sauce they add on make the tacos complete, tasty and filling. There is a lot more on the menu than mentioned above so we'll be back to try more.

Dave S.

Yelp
Yummy food. Menu a little overwhelming. But bowl and tacos were devious. Plus foxxy margarita very smooth.

William M.

Yelp
Thought this might be a solid place! I ordered a drink and appetizer at the bar. Both were fine, nothing special. An hour later... the bartender almost seemed like he was going out of his way to not return and ask if I wanted another drink or how the food was. Had to ask for condiments as there were none. The bartender never did come back to my side of the bar and the place wasn't terribly busy at all. All the staff just stood in the corner most the night talking. Food might be decent but with that level of service, I can promise I won't be back.

Andrea D.

Yelp
I had high hopes starting with the name = clever. The service was good! The food was just, um so-so. The chimichurri was not authentic...too much acid. My friend & I ordered 4 tacos all together. Normally, I would like an excessive amount of cabbage etc., but In this case, the extras were so saucy, I couldn't take it. WTF - I'm sorry. I wanted to love you.

Natália Tami D.

Yelp
The rice and beans are terrible! It taste like the cheapest pre made item you could find at the store. Please improve the quality of these items! Pleaseeeee!

Alex T.

Yelp
Build your own tacos by order form. I've been to a few other places like this and WTF it somewhere in the middle of the pack. Don't get me wrong, their tacos are GREAT and I'm a big fan, but they didn't blow me away. They were out of a few things I wanted to try, which was also a bummer. I definitely want to try them again soon, for the other taco places like this that I know of are not in the Detroit area.

Hannah C.

Yelp
My friend and I had heard good things and wanted to check this place out. The staff was very nice and the day we went, there was live music. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. We each got three tacos to try. I got the fried avocado, spicy shrimp and blackened fish. The fish taco was very fishy and I wasn't able to finish it. For all three, I got the corn tortillas, which I wouldn't recommend. They were semi fried, not crunch but also not soft and very chewy. They were almost hard to bite through. Not sure if they were meant to be hard shell and we're not deep fried long enough, but I'd definitely recommend the flour shells over the corn, in this case. Overall, I think I'd go back but I wouldn't get their seafood options or the corn shell tacos.

Joe L.

Yelp
Today was a big car show and very few patrons. We sat for 10 mins waiting to be served. We had to ask for service, the male server could not get the simplest of beverages correct, difficult with memory, and not clean. Even gave the wrong change back. If the owner was there this would not have happened.

Dave W.

Yelp
It was a beautiful summer night and we wanted to dine outside, so we decided to give this place a shot. When we arrived, we paused and said "wait...this place looks familiar". We later learned that it used to be a Mexican place called Montage Grill that we had been to once - the current place opened in March 2020, which explained why we had never been here. The super friendly hostess told us that the wait for an outdoor table was 30 minutes and she grabbed a table in the bar area for us while we waited. While at the bar, we ordered a couple of drinks. They have a huge list of Old Fashioneds (hence the "whiskey" part of their name) - I got a peanut butter old fashioned which was as delicious as it sounds. My wife ordered a frozen margarita, which came is a glass big enough to swim in (slight exaggeration) and was only $8! While at the bar, we snacked on some chips and guac, which were good. When a table opened up outside, the hostess helped us move out there. We were glad to get outside, because it was pretty loud inside. In our new location we ordered some queso to have with our leftover chips and it was fantastic. By this point we weren't even that hungry, so we ordered modesty. My wife got the chimichanga - I tasked a little and it was very good. I opted for a couple of the street tacos (hence the "taco" part of the name)- the bang bang shrimp and chicken parm. I really enjoyed both of them. The inside part of this place didn't do much for me, but I would definitely go back and hang out outside again!

Jona R.

Yelp
This is one of my go-to places in Clawson. I have a gluten allergy and never have an issue when coming here and eating. I just let my server know and they make sure to keep my tacos separate for anyone who is eating gluten at my table. I always get the beans and rice with no issues. I have eaten the chips but be aware that they are in a shared fryer so if you have a super sensitive allergy, don't eat those. But they have soft corn tortillas and amazing margaritas! Whenever we come here, we always feel welcomed and love the vibes of the place. Always great energy and hometown family feel. We also love that there is outdoor seating!

Bri V.

Yelp
Not sure why this place has so many good reviews. We ordered the chip "trio" as the server called it but it came with four dips. Most of the chips were broken crumbs. The waiter was very kind and brought us new chips. The guac was basically one big chunk of avocado. The food came out at different times. The people who ordered tacos got theirs first and had finished by the time the enchiladas had come out. My dad ended up with a chicken parm taco, which he didn't order. I ordered cheese enchiladas with rojo sauce and it was so spicy I couldn't eat more than one bite. The rest of the family who likes spicy foods couldn't eat it either. Overall we were very disappointed with this place and will not be back.

Justin M.

Yelp
paid $5 at their food truck today for the most pitiful amount of elotes I have ever seen. what a joke. Also chorizo taco was absolutely drenched in grease, gross. Tacos were also $5 each. Hard pass next time.

John B.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late dinner and some drinks on Summer Solstice. Holy Carlo, I stumbled into Karaoke night. I almost turned around and went to Taco Bel instead....BUT .... The locals were crooning and rocking this town to its core!!! I have a huge amount of respect for the tolerance and humility that the staff showed. I hope they get paid a bonus on nights like this. LOL. I digress: Food was decent. Pretty good bourbon selection. If Clawson has a gem of a taco bar, this is it!

Ryan D.

Yelp
Food was amazing, as was the service. Live music was a great touch. I'm a big whiskey drinker: their single barrel was amazing and also had a couple different rye's, very good selection. Will definitely be back.

Aaron R.

Yelp
WTF was a frequent place for our date nights and have brought clients here. Tonight, for date date we were in the mood for adult beverages and tacos... Beverages with chips and salsa no problem. The tacos (3 tacos and street corn) never came. Addressed it four times with bartender...yes it's in, we're short staffed, oops, it was waiting in the window after someone stabbed the ticket, we'll make it really fast. After an hour, we left without dinner with me saying What the f.... Paid for our drinks and went to 3 Cats for dinner. Front and back of the house let us down.

Yelp
I had been here once previously, when it was Montage Grill, but it was like 65 degrees out (in March!) and my boyfriend and I wanted to dine out on a patio, since I'm still not dining indoors due to COVID. I asked around on Facebook for the best nearby patios, and someone suggested WTF (Whiskey Taco Foxtrot), so we tried it out today. Great location right on Main St. (5 minutes from my house!) and spacious patio. They started us off with some complimentary chips and salsa, and both were very good. We both got the $5 happy hour margaritas, which I believe runs from 3-6pm or 4-6pm Mondays through Fridays. My cocktail-snob boyfriend (haha, but he is ...) said the margarita was VERY good. Their menu is similar to Condado's in that you mark down what you want in pencil. We ended up getting three tacos each - the tacos are $4 which is a little pricey but not terrible, considering they are more gourmet than, say, El Guanaco up the street (which is also delicious, though). I got the steak chimichurri taco, the chicken with pico, and the fried avocado. To my surprise, the fried avocado was my favorite - it was fantastic - with the steak chimichurri being a close second, and the chicken one was okay. My boyfriend also got a steak chimichurri taco, a steak fajita taco, and a Cajun shrimp taco, and said he liked the shrimp one the best. Waitservice was very fast, too, and people were socially distanced, both indoors and outdoors. Definitely would return, especially for the $5 margaritas!

Yelp
WTF has a great and fun location in downtown Clawson. The food is always delicious and with all the variety on the menu, there's something for everyone. Our only complaint is that when we've been the service has been generally slow. Everyone is very nice, but you should make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy your meal

Yelp
Picked up a to-go order for lunch on Sunday--my first time trying WTF out per a recommendation of my bestie. No regrets! These tacos were delicious, flavorful, and still hot 10 minutes after I got home and dug in! I ordered three street tacos; my favorite was probably the chimichurri steak (steak, chimichurri sauce, raw white onions); the onions definitely add a bite, but mixed w the juicy steak and that chimichurri sauce--mouth watering! The shrimp fajita taco was delicious, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! A no brained great choice! The pork canita taco was my least favorite, but I'm not a big carnitas person--just interested in their take on it. Our order came w chips and salsa, which we enjoyed munching on hours after lunch. Definitely want to try a whiskey cocktail next time we're in town, because WE WILL BE BACK!

Yelp
Great spot with some really nice food! The salsa was great, so as guacamole!

Yelp
Came for dinner on a Wednesday night with my friends. Plenty of tables so no wait. The complimentary chips and salsa were ok. The chips were super thick and too salty. The house margarita was good, especially for $5. 8 got the steak chimichurri taco and ground beef taco. Both were very good and the tortilla shells were really delicious! They have karaoke on Wednesday nights, which is super loud, so it made it hard to catch up with friends. The prices were very reasonable, I was full from the chips and two tacos. I would go back!

Yelp
Since I missed taco Tuesday. I came here on a Wednesday night and was surprised by how packed and loud it was. I did not know Wednesday nights are lively karoake nights and while it was entertaining to listen to people singing it was also very loud and made it difficult to catch up with my pal I came here with. There also was a random lady from crown royal passing out free shots which was fun! Food wise, I was a bit surprised as I asked the waitress if chips and salsa are provided as I saw some other tables had it and she said it is if requested- so just fyi. The chips were good and not too oily but the salsa was a bit bland but was fresh. The taco menu itself has a very decent selection along with entrees. You can order tacos a la carte on a little piece of paper they give you or choose an entree ie. Quesadilla or sides or a starter. I got the taquitos to start which were pretty good. The queso sauce was ok - just seemed to not have as much of a the creamy consistency I am used to but taste wise was decent. I ordered 3 tacos ($5 each) which were your normal size street tacos. I really enjoyed the taste of the chorizo honey bee taco and the shrimp taco I got also. The chicken fajita taco was also decent too. My friend I was with commented how other taco places may wrap your tacos so they stay warm and that was a good point - but we were hungry and ate them quickly anyways. I did appreciate how this place is open til midnight or so on a weeknight so if you did want somewhere to hang out later and eat good tacos this is a great place to do it. They also have a pretty extensive whiskey menu and my jalapeño margarita was nice and strong. The tacos here are decent and deserve a visit for sure and the parking seems a lot easier compared to other taco places (parking in front or in back of the building), so I'd visit again.

Yelp
WTF is a place a frequent because the food is tasty and they always have something going on. There is lots of space and they generally have some activity happening whether it's trivia, karaoke or live music. They had a painting event when I visited which I didn't participate in but it looked fun. Brunch was delicious! The chicken and waffle taco is going to be a go to!

Yelp
I can't believe this is our first time trying this restaurant, so many of our friends have been here and we finally made it tonight. We came for dinner on a Friday night and it was very energetic! It was packed and all the tables are very close. We didn't have a problem with it. But some might. Our waitress was AMAZING! I I think her name was Samantha. She was so cool and took GREAT care of us. For dinner we had chips and salsa. They were delicious with a great smoky salsa. The tacos we ordered are Bang Bang Shrimp, Crispy Fish and Carnitas, and Buffalo Chicken. The carnitas and buffalo chicken were our faves. Unfortunately both seafood tacos were fishy tasting so that was a bummer. We will definitely some back as we enjoyed the vibe, the service and majority of the food!
