"This laid-back two-story hangout in the shadow of Coors Field is lined with televisions tuned in to games galore; on the bar side, its shelves are stocked with more than 90 whiskeys, while taps are filled with 30 beers. The kitchen, for its part, specializes in fried chicken, but the spot is also known for its ahi tuna nachos." - Ruth Tobias, Eater Staff

Had a great time here! The food was awesome, and the vibe was really nice. Big shout-out to our server Mitchell – he was super attentive and friendly, and really went above and beyond. Service like that makes all the difference.

Google
We really enjoyed it here. Interesting food options. Chicken sandwich was really good. The old fashioned for $8 was far better than the $15 foxy or foxhattan… Also the sun hits just right on the outdoor bar table for the colder months.

David the bartender made me an excellent cocktail, great service and lovely place to hang especially before a Rockies game.

The only reasons I'm giving 3 stars is because the girl who greeted us when we first walked in was a bit rude and seemed like she had better things to do than answer our question about seating availability either downstairs or upstairs. This was our first time here. It also took about an hour for us to get our food. Our server, Nick, was awesome though, he made sure to keep us updated on the food situation. He said the kitchen was behind and catching up, which was fine, I knew they had quite a few large groups upstairs that they needed to take care of. But Nick was very attentive and made sure our drinks were refilled while we waited. When our food finally came out, it was very good, prepared very well! I ordered the Ahi tuna bowl and he ordered the Chicken & Waffles. My tuna bowl was amazing! Overall a pretty good place, although I'm not sure if we'd come here again or not, but it was an okay first experience.

Google
Great service and definitely a notch above your average bar fare. We stopped here for lunch on our way out of Denver and all enjoyed our meals! It's close to Coors Field and really stands out as a pre-game destination. The wait staff was great and the interior was unexpectedly nice and cozy. We started with the fried cheese curds, because, why not! :-) They were beer battered and delicious with some added goodies: fried pickle chips and fried jalapeno rings. We also had the Buffalo Cauliflower, which had a mouthwatering tangy buffalo sauce and some carrot shavings to go along with the ranch dressing. The mains were yummy, but the standout was the Cajun Turkey Gouda sandwich on a Hawaiian bun. Yum! Second to the turkey sandwich was the Shrimp and Grits that were also excellent! Yummy and delicious grits with plenty of cheesiness and some nicely seasoned shrimp to go with them. After that, the Portabella Burger was okay, but the mushroom could have been fresher and was a bit thin. The Glazed Sprouts were good, and there was an appropriate amount of balsamic glaze, but they also could have used a bit more seasoning outside of the glaze. All in all though, a great dining experience in a great location for game day!

Google
This place is awesome! I recently travelled to Denver from the UK and my wife found this bar. The whiskey range is great, the staff are really knowledgeable and friendly, while the food for a bar is also great. They show all the sport games too. The happy hour is good and above all the prices are reasonable as most places in Denver are so pricey. Can't recommend this place enough!!! Definitely get the buffalo cauliflower! They are insanely good.

Google
Came here on recommendation from the hotel. Very glad I did. I came in when it was not busy at all. The bartenders were very friendly and conversational. Good people. They have an extensive collection of bourbons and whiskeys. Made me happy. I had the fried chicken with the Brussel Sprouts. The sprouts were some of the best I've ever had, but that chicken is something truly special. Super tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. A slight spice made it absolutely delicious. Again, some of the best I've ever had. I would put it on par with Gus' Chicken in Georgia, maybe even a little better. Had their Pendlcilin mule. Very creative. Love the ginger liquer. May have to steal that recipe. Very delicious. Topped off with the Bailey's cheesecake... Delicious AF. Moist, flavorful, not overpowerfully sweet. Would definitely recommend to end your meal. Actually, I recommend it all. If you're in the Union Station area, I highly recommend this place.

Came here for some dinner. Only place bay closed a little later than usual. I liked the environment inside, our waitress was nice, I forgot her name but she’s vegan 🌱 anyway, the soup of the day was beef veggies and it was amazing omg.

Darrell B.

Yelp
Amazing place. Best drinks in town and the staff was even better. Update from 5/5 to 4/5 for laying me off though

Hayden S.

Yelp
Currently closed until the fall, wish I would have seen that on Google before I went. What a shame :/

Yelp
Whiskey tango foxtrot is like any other regular bar- usually go for a beer but not a huge fan of their food. Got their Cobb salad and it was expensive for the small amount of ingredients that go into it. I like their buffalo cauliflower bits! However it is so close to coors field that it's a very convenient spot to meet up or have a drink before heading to a game which is clutch. They have a patio that is usually packed but the atmosphere is always fun as people are getting hyped for the game. The service is normal- nothing crazy but the parking is the reason gave it a 4. It is chaotic and can head to a parking garage but it usually expensive. I live near the area and it's always hard to maneuver your way through the area

Yelp
Leaving this review because it's not often when you can't stop thinking about a damn chicken sandwich. Get the chicken sandwich. Period. I subbed the sriracha aioli for the garlic aioli and added red onion and tomato. It was so damn good. The chicken was so juicy it dripped on my shirt. Also the tuna fish nachos were delicious, not an app to sleep on.

Mattie Y.

Yelp
All the food we had here was really good, and it's dog friendly on the patio, which is always a bonus. More of a bar vibe, but still tasty. Fast service, and not too expensive for the area. Can be tricky to get to if you don't know where it is!

Yelp
Yelp Review 2023 #296: Would I be lying if I said I didn't come here because of the restaurant's name? Absolutely! Well, it piqued my interest and so, I had to check out their menu. I went here with a group and for whatever reason, I got here later than everybody else. So, food had been ordered including what the group thought would be something I would like. And if I didn't like what they ordered, plan B was to swap with somebody. WTF moment averted! First of all, this is a bar/ restaurant. And for bar food, they have outstanding food. I'm not concerned about the bar/ drinks aspect. But they have a great selection of libations. What the group ordered: Ahi Tuna Nachos Buffalo Cauliflower Poutine Foxtrot Philly Cubano Thin-Cut Fries In the end, we agreed to sample everything amongst the group so, we can all try everything that was ordered. I will say, we over ordered appetizers (ahi tuna nachos, buffalo cauliflower, and poutine) and that's our fault! The poutine was exciting in the beginning as it was the first one to land on our table then, we moved on to the appetizers. We came back to the poutine and it got a bit cold so, we didn't have the same enthusiasm anymore. Lesson: don't order too many appetizers and finish your poutine while it's still hot. The philly cheesesteak and the Cubano were good. The fries were also good but we couldn't finish it. Since this is a bar, expect loud noises and music. Service was good.

Yelp
WTF has closed its doors for "reorganization and renovation". According to the sign on the door they will reopen later in the year. We live across the street and have been watching people walk up and runaround for the past two da

Yelp
The 5 stars is specifically for the buffalo cauliflower wings. I didn't think anyone could beat out alamo draft house cauliflower wings, but they sure did by a mile. You also get fun celery and carrots. Also my girlfriend had the chicken thighs and duuude omg they were so good i couldn't decide on which to get the next time i came. both just as good. lot of fresh air comes into the place since its opened in the front. I was hungry in denver and I knew coming back for a meal would be quick and worth it.

Yelp
I am a local resident to WTF. I come in all the time. The staff here is awesome. One of my favorite employees is Lo Penska. She has been at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for a while and is so professional and takes great care of her customers. She is hospitality to a T. Tuna Nachos are the bomb as is their whiskey selection!

Rika M.

Yelp
I quickly stopped by Whiskey Tango Foxtrot last night for a glass of red wine to mingle with my best friend. My red (Italian Cab) was decent/okay. This place (as the name says it) is whiskey place so maybe I should have gotten me a nice/unique whiskey based cocktail (I'll do the next time.) I didn't order any food. It's such a bummer though that they took off the Ahi Tuna Tacos off the menu (and it was replaced by Ahi Tuna Nachos or something.) Many took a picture of the Ahi Tuna Tacos and they just looked so delicious. Please please bring it back! The bar area is spacious. They also have plenty of seatings and some of them are big couches where you can sit with a group of people. They also have second floor which I didn't bother to look at but one of the food runners said it's quite spacious. It's mostly for the warm months but it can be used during the winter months as there are heaters (is what I heard.) Conveniently located in the Ballpark area. It's a nice place to have a drink before/after a ball game.

Michael K.

Yelp
Service is average and food is average. If you want a bar that has the game then this is your bar. Nothing special nothing really to complain about.

Savanna K.

Yelp
Very relaxed and chill environment. Service is laid back but on top of their tables. Mimosa bottle service, poutine, and foxtrot fried chicken all were good and priced well. Would go again!

Robert S.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants and bars in all of Lodo! The location is ideal and never too crazy, the staff is always very friendly, and the buffalo cauliflower is bomb. It's also a great spot to watch sports without being too crowded or overwhelmed.

Christopher G.

Yelp
I recently visited Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for breakfast and was impressed by the experience. To start off the morning, my son and I decided to try a couple of their eye-opening cocktails and they were both delicious and tasty. The only downside to this location is the parking situation, which can be tough in the area. However, we were able to find street parking and it was quite easy (but we got there at 9:45 on a sunday so. . .your experience may be different). My son got the Chicken and Waffles and it was a hit. The waffles were crispy and fluffy, while the chicken was juicy and flavorful. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal. I decided to try the Smothered Burrito and it was perfect, just like most burritos I've had in Denver. The eggs were fluffy and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The portions were generous and the meal was filling, making it a great choice for breakfast. Overall, I would recommend Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for a delicious breakfast, especially for those looking for an eye-opening cocktail to start their day off right

Benjamin M.

Yelp
Had excellent service from a great bartender named "Low" ? I think... have been loving this place recently. Food is quick, happy hour has BOGO, and the music is always on point. Great selection of local whiskey and beer.

Laura M.

Yelp
We stopped in here the other night for dinner - it was nice out so there were people on the patio out front, and on the roof deck. We sat at the inside bar/by the window looking out on the patio - and were surprised by the amount of seating. We were greeted right away, and Nick took our drink order while we perused the rest of the menu. The beer list (both on tap and bottles) is extensive, along with the whiskey selection (and flight options). I had the basil rathbone drink - which was sort of like a take on a whiskey sour and very tasty. We also had the ommegang witte, and the birds of paradise - both were good. For food - we had the Cubano, WTF Gyro, and buffalo cauliflower. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the gyro - it was chock-full with meat, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion, feta and tzatziki was on the side. The buffalo cauliflower was lightly breaded, with lots of spicy Buffalo sauce, and vegetable ribbons. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Tim S.

Yelp
Incredible happy hour deal, perfect location, and friendly staff! Drinks were a little slow to come out from the bar - so this is the only minor hiccup. Will be back to give them my business again!

Sophie W.

Yelp
Good food and fun place to get some drinks! Service was good and everyone was polite. Was kinda thrown off that there weren't any fries or chips with the Sammy but it was good nonetheless!

Andrew J.

Yelp
This place has an awesome atmosphere. I wish I was able to stay longer. We only had time to pop in for one beer. The bartender was nice and professional even though it seemed they were short handed at the time. Seriously, he was non stop. To my surprise people were ordering food to be delivered from here and I even had a chat with a stranger next to me recommend the food that's wild here. Must be good. Can't wait to come back and try it. I just hope the bartender is able to take a break.

Yelp
When we arrived in Denver after our flight, it was very late. We were looking for something to eat, but around our hotel, everything seemed to be closed. Luckily we learned about WTF from two guys on the street. When we arrived, the restaurant was still crowded around 11 pm. We were there for food, but I was impressed with their whiskey and beer selection as well as their music. One of the beers that I tried that I really enjoyed was the Nitro Vanilla Porter. For food, I ordered the Cajun Turkey Gouda sandwich. It was good, but next time I will probably order something else. My husband ordered the WTF Cobb salad which he said he enjoyed. Thank goodness that this place was open late when we needed it.

Ali M.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink and this place was great. Nothing crazy but they have two really nice outdoor areas. The prices are a little high but overall we enjoyed our meal. The poutine was our favorite dish by far. Lots of draft selections and a great place to hang out!

Aaron M.

Yelp
Great Green Bay Packers bar in Denver. The cheese curds are as good as anything you will find in Wisconsin. The staff and beer selection were great.

Sam J.

Yelp
Went for drinks with a friend and loved the selection and great recommendations from the waitress. Super helpful and a chill, but upscale vibe inside. Really enjoyed!

Alexis C.

Yelp
Great service, good food. And a dog friendly patio!!! One of the nicer and more relaxing bar food spots downtown.

Claire M.

Yelp
My husband and I recently moved to this side of town so figured we needed to try the local spot on the block! I don't know what I was expecting, but first impression of the atmosphere in this spot was 1. Loud 2. Hip 3. TVs = could watch Olympics while we dined (big plus!). On top of that, service was super quick & attentive which I appreciated! Now for the drinks & food: the online menu is a bit difficult as there's no description of what is in each drink or dish. So they have all of these specialty cocktails but I have no idea what's in them! So I just asked for something gin-based while my husband got one of the beer flights (cool that they do flights). My drink wasn't the best, as it tasted like a strong mix drink I'd get while dancing at the club, but the food made up for that! We ordered the cheese curds - delicious! But beware it's not just fried cheese, it's also fried pickles - I'm not complaining though! And for entrees my husband got the Cajun turkey sandwich and I got the seared tuna tacos (on the app menu but truly filling enough for an entree!). The food was great and we left with full bellies & especially happy hearts from being able to watch the Olympics (we don't watch TV much so don't have cable haha so seriously, what a treat!!)

Amy C.

Yelp
This place is too dark and the food is fatty and greasy. Not sure why you would go here unless it made logistical sense to meet someone if yiu had to! Ugh in the experience! Too many other options in denver to try!

Jack B.

Yelp
Service was brutal - waiter named Christian was irritating, sassy, and combative. Food was great, but too pricey. Ambiance is ok, nothing much to say.

Ethan H.

Yelp
The service and location are fine. I enjoyed the Buffalo cauliflower wings. I would avoid the poutine. The gravy on the poutine tastes like cheap can gravy (or wet dog food).

FallonRaye S.

Yelp
Idk what it is about this place, but it's a very surprising vibe. With a name like, "Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot" I was expecting... the worst. But this place amazes me every time I go. Chill as hell staff, amazing food, great music. The brunch is ON POINT. Chicken and waffles, sunrise burger, yummie potatoes. All good! Definitely give this place a chance.

Amy S.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was friendly, but painfully slow. Ambiance was dark. I'd return for the food and the craft cocktails were pretty good as well.

Alex M.

Yelp
Went here with work and had a good time. Great selection of whiskey, food was better than most bars of this size, and service was on point.

Kelsey J.

Yelp
Solid spot, service was on point. Our waiter was so friendly! Good selections of beer and liquors. Cheese Curds were ok, wish it was more just the cheese curds and not a random assortment of other stuff I. The kitchen (jalapeños, pickles). Cajun turkey Gouda sandwich was yummy and so were the Ahi Tuna Nachos. Good pick!

Matt G.

Yelp
Good cocktails. Bar music was really loud. Outside seating was pretty nice. The service vice is good.

Lea S.

Yelp
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has some of the best whiskey options in Denver! I have been a few times and gotten drinks, so the last time I went I needed to try their food. Of course I still had to do the whiskey (I got the Scottish Cycle Tour). For starters, my friends and I split the Colorado Pork Meatballs. Delicious! I am in love with Shrimp and Grits, so that was my main course. Not going to lie, I'm drooling right now thinking about it. It was wonderful, and came with Cheddar Frico. What a great way to compliment this meal! Parking can be a bit of a struggle in this area, so keep that in mind when visiting. Another place in Denver with indoor and outdoor seating, including and upstairs patio.

Bryan M.

Yelp
Last night in Denver and we were looking for a place to get an early dinner. We wandered inside WTF and took a booth. Friendly staff and delicious food were found :-) A nice end to our holiday in Denver.

Laurie F.

Yelp
Celebrated our sons milestone in aviation at Whisky Tango Foxtrot. Great cocktails and service! We'll be back!!

Zach H.

Yelp
Came in really late at night after a terrible airport experience, and the food made up for it all! Best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had!

Scott C.

Yelp
Food was good. We showed late on Sun after the NCAA's with two kids so we couldn't be seated and had to order takeout, which was a bummer, but it was good.

Liz C.

Yelp
Went here on our first day in Denver. We were tired from traveling and it was around the corner from where we were staying. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. Good and service was excellent. I had the gyro and a couple of people in our party had the cubano. We also had "pork wings" not sure what they are but YUM.

Michael P.

Yelp
This place will literally have you saying WTF! Food is great, service is better! Emily is easily the best bartender I've ever had, she is friendly and kept the drinks coming. The vibe of the bar is also amazing, I highly recommend this bar to anyone who wants good food and amazing service.

J O.

Yelp
Everything was amazing! From the service, to food and drinks!! Christian was an excellent server and his recommendations were top notch!! Can't wait to go back!!

Ashley R.

Yelp
My friend of 15 years was visiting and We had just left Meow Wolf Denver it was an excellent faded night, we were soooo hungry. Now mind you, it was Midnight in Colorado... we didn't haven't much hope that there would be quality food at this hour of night... on a whim.... We discovered Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and the rest is history!! We spent the night enjoying DELICIOUS flavorful dishes! I tried Poutine Fries!! With yummy mushrooms and gravy!! It was sooooo good. We also ordered ahi tuna nachos!! Superb!! We didn't wait long to eat... it was a 10 minute ish wait OUR WAITRESS WAS REALLY COOL!! The vibes were outstanding I also enjoyed shrimp and grits with yummy green chilli and chorizo!

Phil S.

Yelp
Had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. This place has a great vibe and excellent location.

Greg K.

Yelp
Its become a tradition to mine every St Pattys Day to order a corned beef reuben, smoke a joint, and watch Leprechaun 3 and Darby O Gill and The Little People. I got a late start, and by the time I got on Uber Eats, all the spots with St Pattys day specials started closing. I thought all hope was lost. That this year would be incomplete. But I stumbled on this place and they saved the mf day! Delicious fresh and abundant reuben!! Thank you from me and the leprechauns!

Mj M.

Yelp
Went for drinks only. 5/5 recommended. They have a very precise cocktail menu with some amazing flavors. Do yourself a favor and get the Blood Orange Paloma, it is out of this world! The jalapeño pomegranate mojito was also very good. Service was good. All of the food passing the table looked great. And they have a sweet upstairs patio with heaters for winter. I'll definitely be back for drinks & food during the summer to enjoy the patio again. Parking is a nightmare. Best off getting there early or taking an Uber.

Makaylah S.

Yelp
We came in to have dinner during the week, it wasn't too busy but our server didn't check on us often enough. Usually thats fine with me, but he only refilled our drinks when I signaled for him. Overall the food wasn't worth the price $$. Lazy presentation(served on like a metal prison tray?), and not very well seasoned. I think the best thing about this restaurant was its location, and the restaurant decor itself. Nice roof top bar/ dining area (where we sat), and a good drinks selection. If you come here- its more bar than restaurant!

Garrett L.

Yelp
I lived here for about a year. Great living room. Excellent chicken. Great neighbors and the in home chefs and whiskey curators were an excellent touch. Would definitely recommend.

Anonymous P.

Yelp
Absolutely the greatest place I went out to in Austin while visiting here. Immaculate vibes inside and out. A must visit when going out in Austin!! Lonny helped us out so much, make sure you ask for him at the bar. A MUST VISIT!!

Helen K.

Yelp
Walking in, I feared that whiskey tango foxtrot was just another regular restaurant/bar but after sitting down and grabbing some food and a beer I learned that WTF was more than that! The server was really patient and timely even with having plenty of other guests to serve! It was loud enough feel lively but not too loud that you couldn't carry a conversation. Overall, had a great time at WTF and would love to come back again.

Chuq Y.

Yelp
A friend of ours lives nearby so we all come out to dinner. Who can't resist Whiskey, and Tango, and Foxtrot? It was pretty loud, but it was Tuesday trivia night too. However, it was not too loud that we were unable to have a conversation. After looking at the menu, I couldn't rally decide between the chimichurri steak and the fried chicken. After getting advice from our waiter, I ordered the fried chicken. My wife got the mahi mahi and our friend got the chimichurri steak. All were very good. The fried chicken as incredibly juicy. I've yet to be disappointed by fried chicken here in Denver, but I think the secret here is that they fried the chicken with the skin on. Yum! My wife's mahi mahi was covered in a creamy sauce and had a number of veggies, the cauliflower was nearly as tender as the fish! I also got to have a bite of the steak and I daresay it was better than my fried chicken. The trivia seemed pretty popular and I did see a number of high end whiskeys behind the bar, so I've got to come back for those. Apparently game days here are crazy but fun! With it's proximity to the baseball field, that's not that surprising. All around good time here. Good service, great food and great friends! However, the bathroom doors are pretty tough to pull open after you air dry your hands. No paper towel option there.
