Attended a murder mystery in the speakeasy on site. Had a fun time during our visit. Looks like the bar/restaurant area would be good for a game. Would stop here again. Street parking nearby, plenty of seating, decent and interesting menu options and a friendly efficient staff.

I hosted my best friend’s bridal shower in the private single barrel room at Whiskey Warehouse this weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. I think every person that came in complimented how cute the room is, making it easy to create a beautiful event atmosphere when additional decor needed was minimal. Mark (GM) and Mack (bartender) both outdid themselves. They were so helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly and all of my expectations were met. Mack was so sweet and funny, our guests loved her! So many compliments on the food and drinks from everyone as well. There’s nothing on the menu you could order that wouldn’t be delicious. This place is a hidden gem, somehow they haven’t been getting many event inquiries yet which is astonishing. If you’re looking for a place to host an event, do it here! You’ll be in great hands. Alissa is the BEST bartender! She definitely knows what she’s doing as every specialty cocktail was made to perfection. She has great conversation and is very kind. I also noticed her educating customers on the best liquors to choose for certain drinks. Love her so much and would 10/10 recommend to everyone!

Great food, great service and 5 dollar jack and coke! Can’t beat that! Krissy was an absolute gem! ( I think that was her name) who knew I’d fina a BAMA bar in Charlotte! RTR

Stopped by this place for a quick drink on CFB Championship week. It was early in the day, prior to the AL vs GA game. Worst bar service I’ve ever received in CLT (been living here for 6yrs and I’m a regular in NODA/Plaza).The girl behind the bar was overly aggressive about me grabbing a drink and sitting down (when there wasn’t many people in the actual bar). I know everyone is stressed and trying to do more with less these days but for a mediocre sports bar that is surrounded by many other options. Patrons could do without all the attitude when it comes to watching football and grabbing a drink.

Update... need bigger cups for refreshments. We had numerous empty cups from drinking water on a very hot day! Great food and awesome atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, helpful and inviting. I recommend the roof top seating! Can't wait to go back again. Most definitely going to be added as a favorite!

Whiskey Warehouse was our first stop in Charlotte after leaving Charleston this morning. One of the reasons why Kate chose Whiskey Warehouse was because of the rooftop bar. However, when we arrived at 1130, the rooftop bar at Whiskey Warehouse was not opened. Sad but we were still able to enjoy the cozy atmosphere within, along with some pretty affordable daily specials… Located at Plaza Midwood in Charlotte, Whiskey Warehouse is known for its whiskey selection – both neat or via one of its beautifully crafted cocktails. The other highlight is of course its second-floor patio where you can get some expansive views of the area and enjoy the fairy lights (aka string lights) in the evenings as well. Upon entry, we felt a nice homey feeling and the super friendly staff led us to our table. We had the booth seats with comfy sofa seats. From the looks of it, leather. There were also ALOT of screens strewn throughout the restaurant/sports bar which was showing previews of the Super Bowl when we arrived. So no matter which seat you’re at in Whiskey Warehouse, there’s always a screen right in front or to the side of you. Perfect for those game nights! While scanning through the menu, we noticed a section known as “Daily Specials” at Whiskey Warehouse with deals as follows: Monday $4 Samuel Adams Seasonal $5 George Dickel Lemonade Tuesday $3.50 Michelob Ultra Bottle $7 Specialty Cocktails Wednesday $4 Drafts $3 Sparkling Rose Thursday Half-price glasses & bottles of wine $4 Truly & Whiteclaw Friday $5 Wells $4 Corona & Corona Light Saturday $3 Mimosas $3 Miller Lite Bottles $5 Bloody Marys Sunday $3 Mimosas $3 Bud Light Bottles $5 Bloody Marys The prices were actually pretty attractive. As in each day, there would be something that you can order for drinks, throughout the day, for a discounted price. That’s rather cool as compared to the Singapore scene where there would be a drinks or food deal only; or that there would be a time limit (perhaps till 8pm) on the deals. As we were here on a Monday, we decided to try out the $4 Samuel Adams Seasonal. Whiskey warehouse has a great patio. They play games and it can get crowded and loud. The staff is attentive. The drink specials are awesome! The downstairs bar fills up and seats can be at a premium.

So this place has always been hit or miss !! Weekdays with Morgan and Kristy are great. But recently the weekends are so trashy. The upstairs bar service is just mediocre and yet they add a new fee. I asked the server what's the fee for and she said it's because we didn't raise our prices for food! I didn't even eat here! So weird. Honestly as a plaza native this place is trash , just skip it and go to Thomas street! Or legion!

I was torn between a 3 and 4 for this place. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 6 and surprisingly the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. The place had a cool vibe to it and was nice and clean. Our waitress came to our table promptly and was very friendly. We ordered our soft drinks and some fried cheese appetizers. They were ok but when they were brought out to our table of 5 no plates were brought. Upon receiving our plates ( no silverware) our waitress took our order and then told us her shift ended but another waitress would come. Our new waitress brought our food and left and we had to yell to get her attention to request silverware. As our food got cold she finally arrived with 3 sets of silverware for our table of 5. When we requested more we were brought plastic to go utensils because apparently ALL of their utensils were in the dishwasher. The chicken tenders and Caesar salad were very good though. The fries and fish needed more seasoning. My son-in-law, son and husband all had stomach aches by the time we got home.

I got a Grilled chicken sandwhich with cheddar cheese, jack Daniel's BBQ sauce, and, lettuce with a side of curly fries. I have also tried their salmon with rice and broccli and both times have not been a disappointment. Their service is amazing and fast and the atmosphere is such a vibe! Especially if you are wanting to watch a sports event.

The food was delicious, though a bit pricey. The service was excellent, with no long waits. The restaurant had a clean and modern aesthetic.

Lovely rooftop for a nice night. Service was quick to come back and forth to check on us. You can never go wrong with a delicious buffalo chicken wrap and curly fries. It was so good and didn't feel heavy either.

Whiskey Warehouse has a great vibe with a cool warehouse setting and unique touches like chandeliers made from old bottles. The Collectors Whiskey Flight was enjoyable, and the deviled eggs with okra and bacon, along with the whiskey balls with pimento cheese, were tasty bites. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. A relaxed spot worth returning to for good drinks and a laid-back atmosphere.

Whiskey Warehouse is a vibe!! Every time we've been we have been absolutely starving, so blame that for the lack of pics. We have not had a bad experience with either the food or the service. The staff there is superb and always attentive to our needs. And the food is delicious. I recommend anything there, but their TENDERS are juicy and tasty and will definitely fill you up & the rice is so creamy and buttery. Oh--also the burger! There's just so many good things!! Makes me want to head there now for more

Food was burnt and salty and when I call to speak the the manager they told me he would call m back and he never did I called for five days with no response form him and then when I did get in touch withan associate they gave me the number 1888texroad and then hung up. I'll never eat there again. Be aware if you do.

Best Bloody Mary's in Charlotte! Service is always excellent and love the positive atmosphere.

The honey mustard and Bbq sauce is delicious. Chicken was slightly over cooked but overall they were good. The nachos were extremely cheesy, I never thought I would say it was too much cheese for nachos, but it was. Also it barely had jalapeños on it. However I would return, It was a good spot to eat everyone's meals looked good. They were able to accommodate all 8 of us pretty easily.

Great environment for a partly cloudy day. We enjoyed the mimosas and shots of whiskey! The server was polite and very attentive.

Came here on a beautiful Saturday evening with my pals to enjoy some beers and watch football. The service was awful from the start, took 15 minutes to receive one bucket of beer. We had also ordered some shots which never came. We then asked why the shots never came and we were told that we were cut off because there was "stumbling" around the table. First of all, no one in the group was close to being overly intoxicated, secondly how about some courtesy letting us know we were cut off as a group. Completely unacceptable and not professional from their management. I will not be returning and I advise everyone to stay away from this place!

We were seated quickly - opted for the main dining room instead of the rooftop as the rain was coming. It filled up nicely for a Friday night despite the weather. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and loved it. I love a saucy chicken wrap and the sauce was spiced well and up to my spice level. Points were taken off as my fries weren't served hot. I will definitely be back, maybe get the sweet potato fries next time!

Paul the manager was a very good Host! He made the whole dining experience delightful. The food was delicious and our cocktails were delicious. We will come again. Yes it's noisy it's like a sports bar! Everyone was happy!

I was in town visiting family recently and they suggested this place for dinner. It's located right around the corner from their place so we walked over on a Thursday night. We tried to grab a table on their awesome rooftop patio but there was a bit of a wait. So we ordered food and enjoyed it at a table downstairs and then moved up when there was a table available. I ordered a glass of whiskey. As a whiskey fan, it was very fitting that my family suggested this place. They did have a really good selection to choose from. We shared the pretzel bites and goodness were they tasty! As for my entree, I ordered the salad with Jack & Coke glazed salmon. It was pretty darn yummy and a good portion size. I was hungry from traveling all day and it hit the spot. Once a space on the rooftop was made available, we finished our evening up there with friends we made at the bar. I would definitely come back, especially for the rooftop experience.

Decently priced food, good drink specials. Service could have been better. Great music and rooftop had a nice atmosphere going, would come back.

Very cute little spot, the buffalo shrimp is to die for, my biggest complaint would be cleanliness but the service was good and the waitress was nice and accommodating. Tried reaching out to the manager about a private event but no word yet via email but it's only been a week so we'll see.

It was cool but when we went upstairs it was closing. We asked the bartender to take a pic and her facial expression was sour. She took the picture with attitude. Next time just say no.

such a treat in charlotte. my friends and I, visiting from out of town for a chess tournament, had a blast here on a saturday night. our waiter was incredibly sweet, was able to get us mocktails for free (we were happy to pay but thanks!!). the sports bar stuff is really cool, and the food itself is also amazing. highly satisfied with the deviled eggs and the broccoli!!

Local sports bar that is great for watching NFL games on Sunday. The atmosphere is mazing, and the service is top-notch. This was my 1st time here, but I will definitely be coming back. They have house drinks that are amazing tasting at gray prices. The menu is somewhat limited but has what you would expect from a sports bar. I will definitely be back.

Went here on a weekday and was seated right away. Service was quick and helpful with food suggestions. A musician came in and played some acoustics covers which added to the ambiance. We ordered Buffalo and spicy teriyaki wings as an appetizer which were pretty basic, kind of dry. The spicy teriyaki had no spice to them whatsoever. I ordered the Warehouse Burger which was really good. Grill marks on the buns were a fun touch. The burger was juicy and all of the toppings were crisp and fresh. Not much on local beer selections on draft. Stupidly, I forgot to try some whisky.

I normally eat in the downstairs dining area but this was my first time on the roof and it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be the service wasn't good at all she seemed to be giving everyone better service than me the deviled eggs were delicious I was not expecting to like pickled okra but it was Soo good and they have some of the best sweet potato fries they usually have a cocktail of the month but it's never a whiskey drink

We have been coming to Whiskey warehouse for over 10yrs. At one point this was our neighborhood bar (it felt like cheers) because everyone knew our names. We have seen management, waitstaff and kitchen staff come in go. They have definitely changed from the last 10 yrs. I miss my bartenders. Jessica, Amber, Ashley, Allie, Anna, Christy, and the others..The music, the Djs, the private parties, the security guards (shout out to Gill) those were the days. However Whiskey is still standing and we still support. It's still a great place to get drinks and food.

My daughter told Me about Whiskey Warehouse so I wanted to try it. I had the fish and chips and my daughter had a burger. They do not have a kids menu but the food was delicious and they also have daily drink specials. If you're looking for a place to catch the game, its perfect!

5 stars for effort. The roof top is a nice touch. Hats off to the crew, the food is like on par with the rest of the pubs in the area.

The evening staff that was there April 13th 2024 was amazing. We were put in an uncomfortable situation and they protected us. Security kept us updated on the situation, and watched out for us the entire time we were there. The bartenders kept watch out for us. They were all REALLY kind and helpful last night. Thanks to the entire staff!! We closed out the spot with them!!

I've been here a few times over the years and always had a good experience. Most recently, my friend and I ordered pickup and upon arrival we were met with the kindest hostess! She chatted with us and let us know about the new speakeasy that was going to open. She asked if we needed water while we waited because my chicken was not done. Just completely attentive and aware and kind. We each ordered a salad. I ordered the Caesar with grilled chicken and avocado. Friend had the iceberg with fried chicken. I love that they packaged my fresh cooked chicken in a separate box so it wouldn't ruin the salad while getting home. We both loved our salads but the staff were the real gem of the experience.

I went to Whiskey Warehouse this weekend to have brunch with some girlfriends. The atmosphere is very cute. We were able to find I. The rooftop and it was relaxing. I started with a classic spicy Bloody Mary and the drink did not disappoint. For my entree, I had the Veggie Lovers omelet with grits. It was okay. The food was a little cold. I think because I was with a large party that may have contributed to that. The service for the food was really quick but the actual wait staff was slow. I'm not sure if the waiter was overwhelmed but slow to no service. One of my friends had the turkey wrap (pic included). Her feedback was the warp was "okay". I would like to come back for lunch or dinner.

Awesome hospitality. Showed up with 5 fellas and it quickly grew to 13. Would be a problem at most watering holes... but not here. The nice waitress lady let us put two tables together and have the time of our lives. Called us out for not taking shots and most importantly held us accountable. We wouldn't be where we are now without this place and the lovely people who work there. If you're scared of a good time this isn't the place for you, otherwise, enjoy!!!

I travel from Va Beach to Charlotte and I make sure that this is one place I will always come to. The manager/owner will play the Commanders game for me and that means a lot. We suck now but the fact that he will do that just shows how customers are still being taken care of. Justin is a great guy and makes sure that his staff gives great service. Bar is also in a great area. Food is great as well!

Pretty good bar food. I got the lemon pepper wings which were a good portion of food. I also got a side of macaroni which I probably won't order again, it was extremely average. Sat on the rooftop to watch the Alabama game. Can't say it is a great viewing set up. If you are sitting at a table your view will most likely be blocked by someone sitting at the bar or standing. Will probably come back for another Alabama game.

Good ambiance, good service, good drinks, and good food. Make sure you sit on the roof when it's a pretty day! We had a cheeseburger, the Philly, midwood peach mule, and a $5 Bloody Mary. All were great. They have really good drink deals everyday of the week!

Good food. Good vibes. Prices are getting a bit high. Music is a bit loud. But for wings and beer? Yep.

We went last night. Honestly there isn't a positive thing I can say about them. Our waitress spent more time talking to the other staff than helping us. We tried to get her attention at least 4 times and had to get up from the table and walk over to her to get help. When she finally did bring drinks or food, she never cleared anything so we were left with less and less space on our table. The food came out cold. The old fashioned was awful, especially when the place is called whiskey warehouse. We were ignored the entire night, the bill easily could have been $250 plus, but she decided to chat with her friends instead of do her job. When we finally got a manager to come over he was rude and condescending. He did not want to make the situation better. His response was "ill make an adjustment to your bill" then disappeared for another 5 minutes. It seemed like everything was pre-made and sitting under lamps instead of being made to order. It's a poorly run restaurant and ruined our night.

My first thought was how does this place have a 3.5? Should be a 4.5+. I was brought here yesterday for my birthday. Navigation here was simple and easy to get to. The parking could be better, was a bit narrow and I can only imagine on a busy day what the parking situation looks like. I love the decor, it's rustic pub like, It's inviting to all walks of life. Was greeted and informed well at the door. Now this is where it gets saucy literally! If you come here ask for Sloan. She's very good at what she does. Gave us Some very good recommendations for drinks & food with great conversation. The menu could be more diverse but I was only there for drinks and snacks. I had some pretzels which were soft but a little dry but You have to try the chicken tenders with the jack Daniel's sauce, Top 5 for sure. This place is priced very well for what you are getting overall.

Was a little nervous based on a few reviews, but we are brunchers from out of town and decided to risk it . Ignore the bad reviews, we were promptly greeted and seated. Juliette took amazing care of us. She was patient even though our party was late and kept the mimosa flowing . All the food was great!

I NEVER write reviews, but this place has got to be the worse place to grab drinks. Is it a restaurant or is it a bar? IDK. went in with a couple of friends and tried to order at what looked like an upstairs bar, the one where you walk up to the counter and just order. No one even looked in our direction and then we finally got asked to sit down? bc there are waiters?? Finally she comes over and i'm a pino wine girly but they didn't have any so i asked how was their sauvignon and this waitress looks at me like I'm the dumbest person alive and answers my question with "yea I've had sauvignon before?" like uhhh ok BUT HAVE YOU TRIED THE SAUVIGNON HERE!? anyways. i was willing to let it slide till it started pouring and we had to make our way downstairs. Where once again the employees were extremely unhelpful. there was 6 of us and we weren't sure if we could just sit at a table (because almost every other place that has a restaurant esc vibe you have to wait to be seated) so after a long staring competition!? with what looks to be a hostess stand (even if it wasn't they're still employees and should've asked if we needed help) i finally ask can we sit down anywhere? and they once again don't answer my question they just say "oh no yea! you can sit at the bar" keep in mind the bar does not have 6 chairs together... so we literally have to separate as a group to finish our drinks. First time there and unless someone drags me by my hair i will not be going back because the employees are untrained? rude? one of the two, and not helpful or attentive.

Love the vibe of this place! Nice rooftop and great food! The shrimp and grits was sooooo good! Drinks were good and the bartenders were friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again!

Jocelyn and Sydney are amazing. Sydney was battling a migraine and still remained remarkable and very attentive. Didn't get food but the drinks were very good and nice with the poor. Went two days consecutively and will go again. Outdoor seating was very chill with incredible view. Kudos

I enjoyed the Warehouse Chicken Sandwich and Mac & Cheese. It came out within a reasonable time. We sat on the rooftop during brunch hours and besides the weather being perfect, the ambiance was great. The only downside that I would say to my experience here is that you are limited to what you could order from the roof top bar as all of the "good stuff" that is on the menu, is at the bar downstairs. Our waitress was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed.

Five stars to the ladies that made hanging out on a rooftop on the 4th of July an absolute pleasure!! Sloan made the best mule pitchers!! Courtney and Alysson, with their cute patriotic shirts, had some of the best customer service banter I've had since moving to Charlotte two years ago! We look forward to returning, especially if these ladies are holding down the fort.

Was feeling slightly unhinged on a Tuesday and went to whiskey warehouse at 9pm for dinner with a friend. We went up to the roof and had a fabulous bartender. Vibes were good. She was super helpful and kind and recommended items on the menu-- including the blackened chicken pasta. I genuinely don't know why but I full sent her recommendation and let me tell y'all..... this pasta was soooo good (although incredibly random for whiskey warehouse). Next time I go, I'm getting it again lol.

It was busy when we got there and originally our table was missing a chair, but the staff was friendly. Our food came out in a timely manner as well. My friends enjoyed their burgers, I would skip on the pasta. The Caesar salad was really good. This restaurant definitely has a dive bar kind of scenery so it'll be great to go to grab drinks and watch games there.

The drink and burger were both ok but nothing special. The drink tasted heavily like gin and mixed with cough syrup. The Jack Daniels bbq sauce on the burger was good but was a little over cooked. We sat on the rooftop which may have a view of the city depending where you're sitting but my view was blocked by a tree.

Definitely avoiding this place at all cost!!! Was a first time visitor & will never be back. The bartenders who charged my card twice ought to be ashamed of themselves as well as Justin Morton the manager who refused to help me with this matter!! I came to this establishment to enjoy a rooftop setting with some friends. It already started off wrong having to wait nearly 30 minutes just for someone to greet us while the bartenders saw us sitting the whole time. We get served finally but due to them being so busy we decided to make our food order Togo. We enjoyed some mimosas and beers for the time being. Since it took forever for us to get service, of course it took even longer to check out. We ended up waiting in the downstairs restaurant which should already show how long we were waiting. Finally get our food & they're missing a side. Here goes another 15 min of time wasted. Days later I notice I'm charged for our meals & drinks PLUS & extra charge of $12.99! I immediately called for help & was told to email Justin. The experience got much worse as he was not trying to handle my concern, prolonging the issue, & then ended up denying to help me altogether. What a complete waste of money to spend on a place that doesn't care about their customers then to not care about their employees stealing from the customers. Thankfully he sent me proof of the receipts so I could dispute it with my bank because once you see them you clearly can tell right away they are different signatures. I've been a server for 10 years so I know how sneaky people can be. They must've charged my card for an open tab they had sitting forgetting to cash it out & thinking we wouldn't have noticed. Or they paid for free drinks for themselves who knows. But How disgusting to have people working here like this & even more disgusting for management to be rude & not care!!

We sat at the bar, no wait unless you wanted a table. The bartender was amazing and made me a mock tail that was really good. Now my girlfriend got the chicken and waffles and didn't express any issues. I on the other hand will not be getting the shrimp and grits if I return for brunch. My grits were lumpy and unseasoned. There was no actual sauce. The bacon pieces were huge, but I will give credit to the shrimp was cooked really well.
