What a cute place we just walked into! The beautiful staircase all decorated up with Christmas scheme. So welcoming and homie. Coffee was great. They have upstairs seating area we hung out. So relaxing!

This café is so cute! Decided to stop here on a road trip and I definitely plan on coming back one day. The ambience is very cozy, with wooden furniture and a spiral staircase that leads to an upstairs loft with plenty of seating options. The baristas were funny and sweet. We ordered lattes and they were delicious. There’s also a small shop inside in the back where you can purchase items from local businesses.

Delicious treats and coffee. Scone was perfectly moist and had a touch of biscuity flare. Dirty chai was fresh and flavorful on a cold December morning. We'll be back!

I real gem in Clayton. Coffee was outstanding and the selection of pastries and baked goods was outstanding. Cosy vibe made this a very pleasant stop on our trip during freezing weather.

Terrific coffee shop just off 441 in Clayton. I honestly don't expect great coffee in small towns anymore after lately enduring a series of pale, listless, bitter brews (mainly in a flimsy cardboard cup with a green logo: You know who you are). So, while driving back to Tennessee through northern Georgia, I was pleasantly surprised at finding White Birch Provisions, which makes a good cup of dark roast, just the right strength and not bitter at all. They also have a big variety of pastries (sweet and savory), all made in-house. I had the pear scone, which was one of the best scones I've had outside the UK, but everything looked delicious. Most folks who drive through Clayton on 441 wouldn't know there is a charming, several-block-square downtown just to the west of the highway on Savannah and Main Streets, with a brewery, a lot of nice restaurants, and the White Birch Inn. I'll definitely stop back in at White Birch Provisions next time I'm driving through.

What an amazing “coffee shop” (and much more) from the time you park in their exclusive parking lot, you are taken back to a more simple and rustic time. As you walk in to White Birch Provisions, you are met with a heavenly aroma of freshly brewed coffee and an overwhelming wood decor with coffees, teas, honeys, and other absolute staples you’d expect to see in a coffee shop… There’s a separate room for wines and another with refrigerated cheeses, beverages, and other hand-crafted delights!! With coffee and quiche in-hand you can sit downstairs or ascend the spiral stairs to the upper level where you can find more comfortable seating and a “lofty” well-lit space! The employees are very pleasant and accommodating and definitely know their products. You won’t be disappointed.

I loved this little coffee shop! The 2 dollar cookies were amazing, I bought three and loved them all! Also tried their ham and cheese scones which were really yummy as well! Their pumpkin white mocha latte was equally tasty. This place is definitely worth a stop although one thing that saddened me was that I went back a second time to get more scones and cookies and they were sold out with no extras ready in the back. Would have loved to have brought some back with me to Florida! Until next time tho!

Wow! The best coffee shop I have ever been too! My family got a cheese danish, chocolate pumpkin cake, banana chocolate chip loaf, and a cherry pie square. The BEST cheese danish I’ve had in my entire life! The coffee and tea was piping hot and perfect. Their chai is strong and has a great herbal after taste. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick. This is soooo much more than a coffee shop, and you can tell by the families that come in to spend time together. I wish I lived in Georgia so I could come here at least twice a week!

I was in town visiting family and no joke- we came here every single morning for five days straight for coffee and pastries, because it was that good. I love that they keep the same pastry options, but switch up the flavors each day. My favorites were their savory bacon cheddar scones and any of their cream cheese danishes/turnovers. The interior is quaint and cozy; with a cute loft above, and it gives off the perfect small mountain town coffee shop vibes. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

great lil spot in Clayton GA! Lots of options as far as tea and coffee. delicious pastries! Fast and kind service. Loft upstairs is super cute but fills up fast. The small store and wine room in the back are adorable. Perfect to get some work done or grab a drink while shopping on main!

Great Iced Chai Tea Latte. The baked goods looked delicious and I liked that there were little shops inside. Would definitely pop in again!

We both got a coffee - as someone who likes a sweet coffee, it wasn't impressive. The coffee very much had a "sweetener" taste rather than your typical coffee. We didn't get a pastry but their pastries looked delicious!

Stop by White Birch Provisions for a coffee break while heading to North Carolina and did not regret it! They have their own parking lot which made it easy to get in and out of. I ordered an iced Carmel latte which was made with the perfect amount of milk. While ordered they had pastries on the counter that I couldn't resist so I ordered a coffee cake! I was offered the choice of gluten free or regular and I choose regular but the cashier mentioned they offer a variety of their pastries gluten free as well. They bake everything in hours so it's always fresh! After ordering to go we ended up sitting for a bit because the views were just right after a long drive. Highly recommend stopping by and checking them out over your choosing a usual Starbucks.

We stopped by while in town and enjoyed some flavored Americanos The coffee loft is great for a quiet read or study. The live edge bar is also beautiful. They have a wine shop and a cheese shop in the back. The offer pastries including glutten free. A nice way to start our day. We left a painted rock for the the next visitor.

This is definitely a dining in the rough. Such a cozy and cute little coffee shop. The service was an A+. They were very friendly and kind. The coffee was fresh and the taste was amazing. Their flavors didn't disappoint and the cookie... WOW!! Just the right amount of snap and chewy. Will definitely be back.

Excellent coffee and teas! I am so glad I found this gem while visiting Clayton, GA. The staff was so friendly and helpful especially with my out-of-the box coffee request and it turned out perfect.

We enjoyed our experience as much as we enjoyed our food. The chai tea was delicious, as was the toffee butterscotch latte. We splurged on a magic bar that was to die for. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Definitely a do again.

Stopped here as I was vacationing in the North Georgia mountains. It is a must with wonderful coffees and delicious bakery items that were huge! I got the Magic bar first. When I made them years ago they were called the 7 layer cookie. It was just as good as it was back then! The third day on vacation I got the red velvet brownie, also wonderful! Service was great, atmosphere quaint! Will go again if I go to Clayton, Georgia again! Yummy!

Such a cute spot. Great coffee with 1 free refill. Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. A little market and wine + cigar area (for purchase). Oh and the pastries! YUM!

This was our last stop on our way out back to Kentucky. I am thrilled we got to go. It's a beautiful building with unique touches, the staff were so friendly and homemade baked goods were fabulous! I'll plan make it back there another time I'm in the area!!!

Do you know what I like about this place? You fly into Atlanta, drive two hours up to Clayton, have lunch, then stop here for Lavender Latte and dessert AND...... you pick up dinner to go. They have homemade food in the fridge, pot pies, Lasagna, tomato pie ( my favorite) and more! They also have wines, cheeses and cigars. If they don't have the food in the front fridge , ask them, sometimes they have it in the back. In the front , they have a variety of scones and cookies and others pies, like spinach with bacon. Great, great place that lives up to its name, Provisions.

Birch Provisions is a wonderful little full service espresso bar and bakery in Clayton, GA. Stop in to enjoy one of.. or all of their yummy items. The ladies behind the counter have been so patient and helpful each time as I decide on which one of the many options I want. My go to has been an americano coffee with a Pumpkin bread for now. But if I'm being honest, I normally order one or two more for later. They have a large assortment of fresh baked goodies including a gluten free option. There are also non dairy options for your coffee or teas. Typically we pick up and enjoy along our way. However there are a few seats to sit should you want to relax and enjoy. You'll also find an assortment of merchandise throughout the store. Local honey, coffee cups, ets.. all cute and sweet. Since Clayton has been a regular vacation spot for me, I can say I will definitely be back for a pick me up.. or two.. or three.

Omg omg! Was visiting this area and it was on my list boy was I happy with my purchases. I must have swiped my card like 4 times. The latte was on point, the baked goods also even picked up some of the jellies and apple butter syrup. If I'm ever in the area I will be back. Both girls working were super helpful and made great suggestions.

If White Birch Provisions was located in my City, I'd absolutely be a frequent customer. I was a regular during my short stay in Clayton and my final visit left me craving for a handcrafted latte with the perfect amount of gingerbread syrup. This shop is adorable and the best way I can describe the vibe is friendly coffeehouse pairs with boutique country store. The fresh baked goods are displayed in glass cake stands and every dessert looks tastier than the next. During my time here, I tried the bacon cheese pimento scone and a slice of zucchini walnut bread. The bread was good, but the scone was out of this world! Due to the fact I'm a creature of habit, I ordered the same beverage daily: a coconut milk latte with 1/2 the amount of gingerbread syrup. The upstairs loft is peaceful and relaxing and allows for a perfect remote office. The large community board is a fantastic way for folks to stay engaged and promote their ventures. There is a table downstairs along with a few seats and gift options are plentiful. I highly recommend visiting White Birch Provisions. I will unreturn next time I'm in town. Update: I returned and twice in one day! This place is as spectacular as it was when I visited in May.

If you are looking for a quaint & elegant coffee shop, search no further. I can indubitably say this is one of my favorite coffee shops I've visited. There is an winding staircase inside, as well as a wine room & local goods. I had the americano and banana nut bread. Both were very good and affordable!! Will be coming back here again :)

The honey lavender latte here had such a great flavor! A lot of times you can't really taste it but it was the perfect ratio. The butterscotch cookie was also great!

My wife and I visited White Birch Provisions a couple of times during a recent trip to Clayton to order coffee and pastries to go. We were appreciative of the steps they took to keep their customers and staff safe amid the Covid-19 pandemic including having staff wear face masks and having all the pastries covered in the display area. Over the course of two trips we ordered the following: Blueberry Cheesecake Bar, Cheddar Parmesan Scone, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bar, Fudgy Oatmeal Bar, Triple Berry Muffin, Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, and Cookies. My favorites were the blueberry and pumpkin bars which were soft, sweet and moist. The scone was soft, savory, and crisp on the outside with flavorful baked cheese. The Fudgy Oatmeal was brownie-like and richly sweet. The muffin was fluffy with nice crystalized sugar on top. The banana bread was flavorful, soft, and filled with chocolate chunks. The cookies were crunchy, sweet, and flavorful. We also tried a few of their coffee selections with were creative and delicious.

Latte was excellent. I was a little put off by the iPad tip thing. A tip jar would be more appropriate. Nice little coffee bar with wine and specialty cheese and food items. Would get 5 stars if the lost the iPad tip scenario.

Such a cute spot in downtown Clayton. Was passing by and decided to stop in. The environment was friendly and clean and very welcoming. The staff very knowledgeable and willing to help. 10/10 recommend.

This is the perfect spot for coffee and baked goods and specialty items. My husband and I are both big on specialty goods (cheeses, cigars, sustainable goods) and this place was the jackpot. They have the most milk options I've seen at any coffee place, even offering cashew milk which is my personal favorite. For those in your life who are gluten intolerant or gluten sensitive, they offer different fresh baked goods to suit your liking. Their coffee is exactly what you'd expect from any other, good strong lattes with a pleasant flavor. But definitely nicer than supporting big name Coffee shops like Starbucks, Dunkin', etc. If we ever come to visit this quaint town again, we will be sure that we hit this coffee shop again. Definitely recommend.

We always seek out local coffee shops while traveling by to avoid large coffee chains. Perfect spot for a espresso and bakery item!

Fantastic little coffee spot in downtown Clayton, GA. Plenty of space to chat with friends, read a book or find a quiet spot to work. The upstairs area is a nice touch. Plenty of pastry options, including GF, which is great for my dime piece. Between the three of us we had the CC cookie, GF coffee cake and Almond bar. All three were fresh and delicious. They also had a small market and temperature controlled wine room. We will definitely stop here each time we're passing through.

I love this coffee shop but I had a very rude and upsetting encounter with the young girl working there. I bought coffee beans yesterday for $15.99 and they were awful ...very watered down. I even used 4 scoops with my French Press and still no flavor or aroma. I brought the nearly full bag of beans today to return the bag and hopefully get my money back or to exchange for the Cool Beans. No big deal. Apparently, it was a huge deal. The young girl spoke to me rudely in front of a long line of people about how others seem to like the coffee, and that this would be the only time she would ever do this for me (like I would try to return coffee beans all the time.) I was highly embarrassed. Yes, I know the shop was busy but there was no reason to speak so harshly to me and to make a scene in front of everyone. When I asked to speak to her manager, she got teary and told me how stressed she is and she apologized. I thanked her for her apology. While making my latte, I then heard her say to her co-worker, I just want her out of here. WTF? She's the one who caused the scene and then made me look like I was the rude one. Totally unacceptable customer service even for a young person. Doubt I'll go back. I'll give my business to Clayton Cafe instead.

Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Gender neutral bathrooms!! Comfy furniture and eclectic gifts abound. Try the quiche! It's amazing. They also do frappes and smoothies and of course espresso. The White Birch never disappoints

The Dirty Chai Latte is a perfect blend of Chai, spices and an Espresso shot. Must try. Great ambience. From the pretty little plants to the great small shop in the back, just being here feels like a wonder. Really friendly staff with a great taste in music to top it up. Have been here thrice now. Would give 15 stars if I could.

Once you walk in, you'll know you made the right choice. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixed with clever, artisan baked good, White Birch Provisions is cute, inviting, and delightful! I'm in the road traveling back and forth NE Georgia visiting clients, in always looking for a retreat in between stops. I've found one! Thank you for my coconut milk latte (no one ever has coconut milk!) and for the upper balcony space to work. I'll see you next week for carbs and caffeine!

Happened to wander in on a recommendation from the Wander store today while waiting on a court date in Rabun. Absolutely wonderful place. Adorable store that I procured a delicious piece of chocolate banana bread. It was Devine. I highly recommend the bakery.

Signs on the door and emphasis on signs not just one day this place is open at 7:30am onward but that's not the case as an example right now lights on and doors locked. I am not sure what the challenge is in having correct hours posted...

Omg! We stopped here on the way to NC and had no idea we would stumble across such an amazing spot. Local foods, cheeses, honey and much more! The coffee was tasty and go for the turkey club with the aioli on the side! This is a great date spot, somewhere quiet to study or even just for a quick coffee. Next time we are passing through we will definitely stop by!

We went to Provisions EVERY SINGLE MORNING that we were in town for some COVID getaway time. We very much appreciated the fact that this establishment made masks a must to enter the building and all staff had masks on plus they limited the number of guests inside. The coffee drinks were delicious but the Chai Tea that they use is fantastic. Ivy seems to work there A LOT and she is a very friendly face and ambassador for White Birch Provisions. Thank you, Ivy. Let's talk about pastries. They are fresh-baked every day and you never know what you will find. Cherry scones (oh, the fresh cherries!), Cheddar Straw Scones, Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Muffins, Oatmeal Chocolate Bars, and on and on and on. This is a MUST VISIT spot for your stay in Clayton, GA.
