White Castle

Very busy place as it's the only White Castle remaining in Wisconsin. Very clean dining areas and very quick service to eat those delicious little hamburgers.

I love those little burgers. Kenosha is the closest one to me since I live in Milwaukee. It had opened up for the day and I was one of the first ones there. Food was fresh and hot. Even did the survey to get 2 free burgers. But the lady helping me kinda had an attitude at first because I didn't know what I wanted. Other than that a good experience.

Picked up a #8 10 sliders....every other time I've been here, nice and fresh. This visit not so much. Got home with the 10 sliders and the meat was dry, as it had sat under a warmer before being sent out. Its white castle...these sliders were designed to be cooked and served in 5 minutes. To get dry sliders on a Friday afternoon is sad. I could've purchased frozen burgers from a grocery store that tasted more fresh.

I'm not going to be picky about this White Castle since it's my first time coming to this location. I ordered the 10 sliders meal with cheese and chicken rings. I was happy to see a soda machine here to. The sliders were so good and I ate 6 of my burgers right away and my mom ate 4. If I'm in Kentown again I will be back to this WC

Place is usually under staffed and not sure if the dinning room is open past 9pm. Everytime I pick up an order this place is always just the drive-thru and lobby is always closed. Slow service most of the time. Or even went there and it was closed a couple of times.

First time here. Some really great people work here. Especially Tamika (hope I spelled her name correctly). She has a beautiful personality and her representation of this company is impressive. The company should be very proud of their choice of hire!! Also. Yummy fresh hot food. Would return for sure!!

White Castle is always good...food is fast and hot, as it should be, and very friendly staff, even st midnight...Not open 24 hours like the ones in Chicago, but open until 2am, which ain't bad.

This is by far the WORST White Castle, especially after dark. You’ll be waiting forever just to place an order. They pretend they don’t have flavors when you can clearly see the Freestyle machine. They are SLOW as all get out and you’ll be lucky if you get what you order. But it’s the only one around so.. we keep coming back.. shameful.

I had always gotten the frozen White Castle slider box from Costco so this was my first time seeing an actual restaurant. Had too much expectations that didn't meet. Definitely has more varieties and options of topping if you order the deluxe ones. The nibblers and fish slider was good with tartar sauce and the 1921 slider wasn't bad. Wasn't a big fan of the chicken slider though

I loved getting the frozen sliders and this was my first time going to an actual White Castle. I love the design of the building. The bathroom was clean. The service was great. Employees were nice and the food came out fast. I order 3 double cheese sliders, cheese fries, and mozzarella sticks. The sliders were amazing, the fries didn't look very good, but they tasted great. The fries were fresh, crispy, and perfectly salted, and the mozzarella sticks were great too. It's hard to mess up mozzarella sticks. Would recommend, definitely will be coming back.

Heard about this place from a movie Love the small wrappings of the sliders and shareable sizes. Especially love the fish nibblers and chicken rings. The hamburger is steamed first then grilled, with onions, the lower bun is soaked with flavors. Service is pretty good for a fast food place.

Great good slider foods. It's a hype place to get something small but pricy for its taste and size. But still good. Haven't had it in a long time. More options than before. Now they have fish sliders, chicken sliders and other stuff. Don't expect it to be anything fast and cheap. They do get a good mint if customers. They are always hiring. Just be patient and you'll get your food. People come with their pickups and chill in the bed with some food.

We've been to this location before and the food has been good, but the most recent time was not. Soggy buns with the burgers and toppings falling out, no pickles, fries tasted like old oil. Extremely disappointed. The friendly service was the only positive.

Yes!!! These babies taste so good when u haven't had them in months! We are from SWFL & visit any White Castle when we can! The food came up fast & tasted fantastic!

I almost hesitate to give them three stars because it could easily be two. We went inside the dining area and it was filthy. Floors were really dirty and the tables just as much. The trash was overflowing to the point that garbage had to be stacked on top of the other garbage. The bathroom was also disgusting. The only saving grace was the staff was nice and the food was good to my surprise.

I decided to go here as I hadn't been to a White Castle in years, first off the front door was locked with no sign indicating whether it was broken or not, not sure what was going on, and secondly, I wanted to get a bag of sliders and they have the 10 cheeseburgers for 7.99 right now but I didn't want cheese on em so I said can you leave the cheese off, obviously saving the store some time and money and giving me what I want too. She said no, you have to pay full price $10 and change if they don't have cheese on them, so I said forget it. I'll just chalk it up to bad customer service.

At lunch in the restaurant today. It is an absolute pit! Filthy dirty from the pop machine to the dining room and beyond. The washroom was disgusting. I will never go back!

Lack of anything but drive through service. Been going to White Castle restaurants for over 30 years but not anymore.

I love it! So unique are those little burgers with the holes in them that are steamed over finely chopped onions. Then they put the cheese and buns on top of those burgers and when they're ready they assemble the now sliders and add a pickle and put them in a box! I ate/inhaled my double cheeseburger sliders in my car and I could still smell them the next day!!! That only made we want more of them but I did resist..... this time:) hmmmmm

This place has gone done hill. The lobby is dirty as is the lady's room. The condiments are empty. Many times, the lobby is closed due to staffing shortage. I do not like eating in my car. Flies all over the place. Staff on their cell phones. They could be emptying garbage, cleaning floors and tables. Stocking straws, napkins and condiments. If I were younger, I would straighten this place out.

I am retired from writing yelp reviews, but I went to this White Castle today, and their extraordinary service brings me out of retirement just for this one review so that I can properly recognize this restaurant - this White Castle sucks. I am visiting the area from out of town, so I sought out this White Castle since we do not have them in Texas. So I figured out where they were located and drove out of my way to visit, and was really excited while driving there from Milwaukee. However, I felt like Harold and Kumar since upon arrival, we walked in to order, and the worker, who was nice, informed us that the dining room was closed since they had just mopped the floor at 7:45 PM, and the floor was wet and thus posed a slip hazard, but he further informed us that the dining room would remain closed for the rest of the day despite the location not closing until 1:00 AM, so I left without ordering. I do not recommend this White Castle location. Peace out, back to being in retirement from yelp reviews.

only getting 1 star because for was hot atleast. Didn't give me correct sauce then when asking for correct got an attitude and not amount I payed for. Lobby was closed and didn't get correct food got shorted frys.

Alll the sliders for us!!!!!! We drove here from the Dells, under the excuse of seeing lighthouses and museums and Milwaukee. Really, we came for White Castles...

This location is garbage. There is a deaf man that works their and is super sweet and when my husband went to get our food he witnessed the manager and other employees making fun of him when he turned his back, making fun of signing, and making stupid faces at him. We will no longer be spending our money at this location. That behavior is disgusting.

I am a truck driver I can pull onto the side road ad walk there but the lobby is always closed. So I did research on this spot and they have pictures of so much dirt on their chairs it is disgusting. Don't ever eat at a dirty restaurant. The ones in Indiana are awesome this one sucks

I can't eat at these sorts of places (fast food) any more according to my cardiologist and gastroenterologist, so mostly I don't. My two favorite fast food chains have made it easier, Chik-fil-A's official homophobia, and White Castle's truly awful service. Most White Castle restaurants just wouldn't be in business if it weren't for marijuana and beer, because only people who are stoned out of their gourds will wait that long for inaccurately filled fast food orders. The Pristine Palace, the Ivory Icon, White Castle is widely known for slow, incompetent service. But this one isn't so bad. Don't get me wrong, the service is not fast, and not generally very precise, but for a White Castle, it's not bad. It's in a good location if you're travelling between Chicago and Milwaukee and have some time to kill.

They call them sliders and who knows maybe they started the slider term. When I got the message that my bud was on his way to work late because of a personal thing and would be passing White Castle and did I want any, my response was f#%k yah. People either love or hate White Castle when you talk to them and I love White Castle because I grew up on White Castle and after a late night of drinking this was the place to go. The burgers are small and square. The beef is cooked on a bed of onions which gives them there great flavor. The bun is a nice soft steamed bun. They are simple with the regular having just onions, meat and pickles. I like the bacon cheese burger and the jalapeño cheese burger. When you bite into one you will notice how soft and moist the burger is. They all have that signature onion flavor as the base for all the burgers. Caution, if you don't like onions please don't eat at White Castle because the beef is cooked on onions. Overall I'm in the minority of people I asked who likes White Castle. My only problem is that Milwaukee Wi doesn't have one and Kenosha is somewhat far to drive for them, yah I'm a fan.

What can I say? White Castle is awesome! I was in Milwaukee for a weekend, and drive down to this location, since I am a known White Castle Junkie. There was almost no wait at the counter, and our burgers came up fresh, hot, and fast. The restaurant was clean and not crowded at all. The parking lot was not bad, but tough to get into from the main road. I was a little taken aback by some of the non-burger offerings (crab sandwiches?) but that had no effect on my crave satisfaction. As always, the burgers were fantastic, even if they didn't last long.

We stopped to grab a bite to eat after doing some shopping and had to pull up to the second window to wait for our food. One of the staff members brought our food and I said, "oh we still need our drinks." I didn't realize it at the time but that staff member was hard of hearing, however another staff member came up and asked if we needed something else. I told him I mentioned to the previous guy we were waiting for our drinks. He said that the staff member was deaf and got him to come help us instead. He gave us our drinks and I just wanted to say thank you. I love that this place is inclusive with it's hiring practices and that the staff there was very pleasant and friendly to deal with. That can be challenging these days. So kudos to the kenosha WC staff. You're doing great there!

I don't get the White Castle attraction. I've stopped twice and each time the burgers have been mushy and tasteless. What's with the onions!? Couldn't even finish the burger. No complaints on the fries. Service was slow at the counter. I was the only one in line and it took about 10 min to get two double cheese burgers even though they had over six people in the back.

I wish I didn't even have to give them a star. So I placed my order then I just repeated back to the employee to put extra onions and pickles on them. She then said I heard you being all smart. Get to the window she takes my money she don't say nothing not even thank you. I get my food she did say have a good day. So I pull off on my way back home which I live out of town no extra nothing on the sandwiches and they wasn't that hot at all. I call to say what happened and to just ask for a supervisor. Who ever answered the phone had no empathy at all.she then gets mad telling me to stop hollering I'm like what baby my voice projects and is a little deeper then yours cause I'm a black women now she steady saying it cause she wanted to hang up. Which she did hang up pretending like I was yelling I wasn't. 1/2/2023 time was 5pm I called back and asked for a manager they said what for I said I would just like to speak with one I started recording at this moment she said bye and just hung up. Ok I call back to ask for a manager or the number to corporate, the lady said and I was recording again she said the number to corporate is on the website and hung up. I'm not yelling at all I'm simply asking for higher up. Long story short consumers get treated poorly I'm spending $30 with you guys have respect when your talking to customers. I'm still waiting for corporate or a manager from that location to call me. They was wrong for this. Not one slider had anything extra on it, some of them didn't even have onions on them. Shame on white castles for being mad at me for asking for what I wanted.

Decided to stop here while I was in the area. It has been a very, very long time since I've been to White Castle...so it was a nostalgia trip. I anticipated a subpar meal but I had hoped it would somehow be more worth it. I got 10 sliders, 20pc chicken& a bag of fries to share. The sliders don't come with ketchup, nor was there any ketchup in the bag. They are primarily onion burgers...& a pickle. They are also a bit soggy. Overall, just not very good. The chicken is a bit rubbery and also not very flavorful. The service wasn't too bad but it was a little slow. However, the lady that took my order was very nice. The outside was clean and there was an employee out there sweeping. I did not see the inside. A bit frustrating to order because the speaker is of poor quality. Overall, I won't be back anytime soon.

No stars for this White Castle had to put 1 star so I can post. Flew in from Cali and was very excited to grab some White Castle. Googled and website says it opens at 7am. Showed up 2 mins early waiting for it to open. Waited til 7 lights are out no open sign. I thought I'll wait a little longer...waited an additional 12 mins and still not open. Drive through drive thru and waited for a couple secs and no one responded so I drove away with no White Castle. Waited almost 15 mins of my precious time and it never opened. Very disappointed that it was not open at time it says it was open. No star them

I wouldn't even rate this one whole star, at least 1/4th, This restaurant is so unprofessional, the doors are locked nobody can get in, they forward every phone call, they missed half of my order. I literally had to go back in the drive thru wait another 30 minutes because they do not answer the phones. As I pulled up to the window the lady wiped her nose with my napkins and put them in my bag then continued to throw the bag at me after I complained. Their effort to make this a welcoming and good restaurant is very poor and so is their service. In total I spent an hour waiting for my cold food, do not recommend this location. Never returning to a White Castle again.

Unbelievable. I'd give zero stars if I could. Rude. No hello, no thank you. Make eye contact and don't say anything. The place wasn't even busy at 6:00 PM on a Saturday; but my order took 13 minutes-- after I noticed that my food was sitting in the back for 5 minutes. I get my food, it's cold; and the girl argues with me that it wasn't sitting there that long. Manager hears all of this and doesn't even address it; just hides in the back. Then the manager finally tells me that they'll re-make my food. Gee, thanks. Get my redone food and it wasn't even made properly. Took 17 minutes and the order wasn't even correct. Terrible.

Well White Castle used to be a place to get a quick cheap meal in Kenosha. Since they have removed seating and any extra trash receptacles it has become very dirtying. Overall it looks in sanitary. Know I know why they drive thru is p

First, its White Castle, you have been to one and you know what to expect with regards to the food. The clerks at this location, especially in the drive-thru, were overly pleasant, nice, and accommodating. The clerks at this location cannot be expected to be any nicer.

Never been to one before and saw the movie and had wanted to try it, but southern California does not have White Castle, So when i finally ended up somewhere close to one had to try it. I was one of the first customers of the morning, staff extremely pleasant and friendly, but burgers were not that hot and fluffy. I still gave it four stars as the manager said one of the morning crew was late so they were understaffed to start the day. I guess next time in the area will have to give it a second chance.

Disgusting burgers. The fries were old and not salted. We waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes. I know it's fast food so it wasn't going to be great but woof.

Very well managed White Castle! Stopped in to remember how they tasted, since I hadn't been to one since the late 80s. Clean, and the associates were attentive and courteous! Food was hot, delicious, and just how I remembered. I lone the crinkle fries!

We were in Kenosha for Jelly Belly and it dawned on me we might be near White Castle. Sure enough with help of the GPS it was a short ride there. On their window they advertise 20 burgers for $10.00. I get to the window and the teen says it's internet only in an angsty tone. Wah wah. This was immediately off putting. I hate to say I'm a service snob, but I am. If someone has a bad mood vibe, it's instantly rubs off on me. I had to get the app and figure out how to order too? Almost too much work. I ended up deleting my order once. I think it actually took me 15 minutes to order. We made the teen come out and clean a table so we could sit down. Every single table had something on it. It would be a 15 minute wait. I ordered the burgers, large onion rings, and three sodas for us. We ended up eating at one of the tables and taking 10 of the burgers home. We hadn't been in a long time and forgot $20 for the three of us was ok.

While passing through the area I stopped here to grab some food. I ordered 2 sliders and a 3 piece mozzarella stick. It took over 5 minutes for them to collect my payment at the window. Once I got my food, there was no marinara sauce in the bag for the sticks and on top of that, after I drove away I noticed 2 of the 3 mozzarella sticks had no cheese inside.... just fried batter shaped like a moz stick. Disappointed.

I've Been To this location many times passing through, got a sack of 10 on # 6 found a bite in one.... gross I will never return! I'm flabbergasted! I lived in Illinois my whole life and was overjoyed a White Castle came to Wisconsin. I'm keeping the receipt but I'd never ever stop at this location again!

Went through the drive thru to eat in the car. Good service there but damn near slowest 'fast' food I've ever experienced. Went inside for a soda; gross bathroom, non-functioning ice machine, a line almost out the door and a cashier that could win a medal for the slowest, most uninterested service ever. Overall, a pretty horrible experience for a couple-a sliders.

Waited 30 mins in the drive thru and still wasn't even at the window. The person behind me, my car and the car behind them left the line because we couldn't wait any longer.

I'll never not give White Castle 5 Stars. Fast service and the guilty pleasure bridge between Wisconsin and Illinois. I just wish there were more in WI.

I love White Castle, but I'm standing here with people just waiting and waiting for food. One group walked out without having an order taken. One lady said she'd been waiting 17 ministers and counting. Another guy just came back in becomes they made a mistake. Incredible. I'm at 29 minutes and still waiting according to the order screen. The freestyle machine is out of everything but root beer.

White Castle fries DON'T only come in one size! I scratched one of my life's goals off today... i ate at White Castle. I have wanted to try White Castle for as long as I can remember.. way before those Harold and Kumar dudes. Cruising East on the 94 from Milwauke to Chicago, there it was... a giant billboard that seemed to have the light of the heavens shining down on it: "White Castle, Exit 344, Turn Left". My hands gripped the wheel with excitement, nervousness, and anticipation as I drove 5mph under the limit, making sure I didn't miss my exit. Would it really be good? What if it sucked, what a major let down... could I cope with that type of a disappointment? Maybe its better to just keep driving and for White Castle to remain an elusive fantasy....? What if I get sick....? I am sensitive to Gluten and Dairy, would getting potentially sick and hives REALLY be worth it? What if I got REALLY sick by flooding my body with all that bad shit after going so long without it...? It would be like feeding an Ethiopian a Big Mac, extra cheese... he'd probably die! What if I got sick on the plane I would be sitting on 5hrs from now? My head was spinning as I pulled off the highway, seemingly on auto-pilot... visions of sliders dancing in my head. ............ There it was. White Castle. I entered proudly, smiling ear to ear, ordered 4 sliders with cheese, fries, and a coke. O M F G. Nirvana. The burgers were perfect. Gooey cheesy center, little diced onions, soft spongy bread, pickles.... mmmmmmmmm, I scarfed down 4 and jumped up and ordered 2 more. Perfection. I didn't end up getting sick.... surprisingly it seems the White Castle gods took care of me today.... they knew it wasn't going to be an every day thing, not even a yearly thing.... perhaps a once in a lifetime thing, and they allowed it. And it was good.

If you ever wanted to visit a real life Burger Shot, this is it. Filthy all around and slow service. Took 17 total minutes from drive through to window, and I'm STILL waiting.

THE FIRST RULE OF WHITE CASTLE? Be drunk off your ass when you're at White Castle. I sadly did not know this rule so I found the experience to be kind of disgusting. Is meat supposed to be gray? Yeah, didn't think so. Disclaimer: I reserve the right to re-write this review after returning here drunk.

I love White Castle but this location always sucks!!! We got stuck in the drive through and they tell me it's an hour and a half wait.
