White Castle

We've only tried white castle in it's frozen form from the grocery. When we found out that they have locations in Las Vegas, we decided to go for it during our stay there. We want our curiosity to be fed and see what this tastes like fresh, hot off the grill. These sliders, for me was 3-4 biters depending on how hungry you were that day. The buns was soft and it doesn't get mushy as it sits on that grill. It absorbs the onion and the patty well. The beef has it's own distinctive taste and since we got the one with cheese, paired perfectly with the whole burger. 8 pcs were shared among 2 adults and a kid and it satisfied our hunger. The grilled onions that never make it to your buns don't go to waste. They mix it with fresh batch that's ready for another round of patties to be grilled. It's nice that it's open 24hrs so you grab some of these after a day of partying and drinking at the strip or at the Fremont street bars. They have a big eating area inside and can accommodate a crowd. They have quick service that gets you to enjoy your food in no time.

We was in vegas n went to white castle on the stripe. That place was busy as hell. The counter people were funny n polite n had great service. The place was clean as far as some others were very dirty. We had the 4 pack with cheese n 2 extra too. Love their fries n the little burgers was amazing n taste great. Open 24 hours, it's convenient if up late on Fremont St. ( Actually, it tastes OK) Meal arrived quickly. 1st visit, didn't know they also have fish, chicken and vegetable sliders. I Ordered the 4 pack Cheeseburger sliders and onion fries: these are not onion rings, just greasy, fried sticks with a hint of onion. Not a good choice (see photo). Nice signage outside at night. Fits into the Fremont theme much better than that horrific Denny's across the street. Better quality hamburgers 2 blocks up at Steak and Shake in the Fremont casino, 1st floor, at the food court, for about the same price.

Like Harold and Kumar we ventured from Sacramento all the way to Las Vegas for the little square burgers with delicious grilled onions and cheese! I've tried White Castle on a road trip and finding my way back to this wonderful fast food restaurant was high on my list of to-do's in sin city :) A must try (at least once in your life) can't wait until next time!

Took a stroll down Fremont and wanted a late night meal. I decided to go for a single cheese slider, fries and a chocolate shake. The slider was the perfect size for me. The burger was good and I loved the onions and cheese. The chocolate shake was thick and a cool treat for a warm Nevada night and the fries topped it all off. The meal took care of my late night cravings. It was my first time at White Castle and it won't be my last. The staff here pumps the food out quickly and efficiently.

No customers at 8pm, 7/15. I ordered two double cheese sliders. It took 18 minutes to get my order. I was looking so forward to coming to downtown to eat at this White Castle. Very disappointed.

White Castle is what it is. Late night drunk munchies. It's hardly considered a meal and the meat itself is questionable cat food like consistency. I ordered a single and double. It's taste exactly how it looks. I'm not even mad at it. 3 stars because this location wasn't as clean and staff faces look sad and angry.

This place was super busy on a Saturday afternoon. The good news is the burgers were not marked up and pricing is aligned with what the White Castle pricing is in Florida. The time it took to order and food being ready wasn't long considering how busy they were. There's also plenty of seating inside. I ordered three white castles and scarfed them down. It was good. No runs afterward.

How have I never been to a White Castle? I really enjoy the frozen ones from the supermarket! Stopped by here for a quick bite while exploring Fremont street. Ordered a combo per person and it was way more food than I expected. More filling than the frozen ones for sure (for me). I enjoyed it! Very simple..just bread, meat, and cheese. The fries were crispy. The chicken rings were just okay though. Staff was friendly and the bathroom has a lock/code on it. It's fast food so not much to complain about.

On our way to Vegas, my friend group and I were doing a tier list of fast food restaurants. One of them was White Castle! We finally were able to try it as a late night grab. There was quite a bit of people but the line went by really quick. The food was packaged really cutely but the food was okay. It lacked flavor and just wasn't enticing enough to get again. Happy we tried it though!

I have only eaten frozen WC burgers as we don't have a location in Hawaii. Since it was my first time, I was all psyched. Just a hop skip and a jump from Fremont Street Hotel and Casino, it was a pleasant walk. The restroom needs a code to access. See the staff. The seating area is bright and airy, with lots of tables and chairs. The menu had a lot more options than I anticipated. I ordered the fish slider and was pleasantly surprised. It was really good. The cheeseburger was mediocre at best. Onion petals hit the spot for sure. So light and crisp. The fries were perfect. Crinkle fries are the best and these are medium size. Just right for me! It was a really nice dining experience. Can someone please open one in Hawaii?

Place has a bad rep, but I think it's ok. It's basically stoner food. Don't expect the best quality burger, but still felt tasty to me. Harold and Kumar love this place for a reason.

Extremely poor service. Long line, no cashier assistance. Inefficient ordering system Food is not worth the wait.

I went to this location twice during my last visit to Vegas summer of 2024. On both times, there was no line but the food took way too long to be handed over. The first time the place was extremely hot, but the second time the place was at a comfortable temperate. The food did not disappoint and it was worth the wait. On both occasions I had the cheeseburgers with fries but on my second visit I had chilli fries and they were great.

For fast quick sliders (beef, chicken or fish), WC is very good. I enjoyed the fish sliders. The LV -Downtown location is open 24 hours. So, if you are hungry, at let us say 2am, stop here and get your sliders. They are quite tasty and satisfying. You can purchase the sliders individually, or meal combo, or buy the large family pack. We bought our friendly casino drinks server at the Grand Casino a ten pack of sliders. She loved them. The employees behind the WC counter are hardworking and friendly. Stop here for a late night or early morning snack. The crowd can be very interesting late night or very early morning.

I love myself some white Castle grew up in Michigan. Where I would eat them as a small child now that I'm in California, I do crave them now and again so anytime I'm in Vegas. I have to stop and get some always delicious.

Why do I get these every time I go to Vegas?!? Idk but they're really good with bacon, cheese and chile from home. One guy I was talking to had a funny comment. He said they call them sliders because they slide in and then slide right out lol. I know a lot of people don't like these including my kids but I love them!

Manners are essential. I understand that the food industry is a chaotic place to work, let alone to manage. The female manager that was present early in the morning around 6 on April 1st was surprisingly impatient. There was no line behind us. Its pretty common for customers to step back from the counter to view the menu, then approach the cashier when they're ready to place an order. Idk if she lacks common sense or just doesnt know how to read the room, but she probably needs a break so she can be a better representation of the fremont location. The cooks were very polite and worked fast. The food overall is ok

I love this place!!! I ordered 30 sliders (half cheese half regular), 4 fries, and 4 drinks. We only spent $60 which is a major deal compared to a lot of places in Vegas. The little sliders fill you up quick! The man that was ringing us up was very kind and attentive. For it being 2pm, there was nobody in the lobby which was very nice! It was very clean as well. Harold and Kumar were not joking around with White Castle and it's greatness. My group could not get enough! Adding mustard/ketchup to the slider was life changing. The ranch was the most flavorful fast food ranch I have ever had. At the end of my meal I ordered a chocolate milkshake that tasted like a frosty, except with more flavor. My entire experience here was awesome and I recommend you give it a try.

Although not the place for gourmet burgers, it does exactly what it is meant to do: feed hungry and drunk people on Fremont street Pros - large interior with fast service. We ordered 80 sliders and got the order in a pretty decently fast manner. Good efficient service after a night of drinking and partying Cons - line can be long at night when dozens of people come in at the same time craving burgers Not the place you would take a first date to, but its convenient location and near factory efficiency is perfect for finishing a night of hard drinking and fun

Good old fashion White Castle. The place is clean and vintage. Super friendly staff. Perfect for grab and go to Take back to the room.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Late night food, best eaten while drunk. I ended up getting late night snacks here three nights in a row this past May when I was in town for Punk Rock Bowling. We were staying at the D so we'd pass by it every night on our way back from the festival, and I'd always be feeling snackish. The first time I did it for the novelty, as I'd never tried their Impossible or fish sliders before. There was the crazy line, yes, but it wasn't TOO bad. That first night we got: one fish and three impossible sliders, along with their onion rings/chips, and mozzarella sticks. What can I say, it was a total processed grease fest and it really hit the spot for our inebriated selves. The second and third nights, though, it was all me! The hubby was not feeling up to more of the grease, but I was, which is really funny because I hardly ever eat fast food in my "normal" life. My go-to order was: one fish slider, one impossible slider, and onion chips with ranch. Not sure if I'd go again if It wasn't as convenient; guess I'll find out next year!

Last time I was at White Castle was at Nashville. The lines were long here just to get some snacky goodness. Sadly, it wasn't as tasty as I remember. I think I enjoyed the fish sandwich the most. These mini munchies are good for those late nights. Lol

Honestly just starve. They don't care past a certain time if anyones in line. Their are 14 people in line and they have yet to acknowledge a single person in line. I have already watched 3 different groups leave the place. If it weren't for the fact no one else is open I wouldn't have waited. I literally am waiting in line and have already waited 25+ minutes. They just take advantage of the fact they are the only place open so they literally don't care. Don't go!!! If I could I would put 0 stars I totally would but at the end of the day I can't soooo here we are. Don't be like me and plan ahead better. (Beware a lot of places hours are wrong and that's how I ended up here in the first place.) EDIT: they gave us the wrong order as well. We asked for no pickles and instead we got extra pickles. (We're allergic) ‍

This was my first experience and it was horrible food and service. We order plain burgers and they had pickles and so many opinions built in the cheese we couldn't wipe it off. It was literally one every single layer. I was not impressed and will not eat there again.

Got to Love The hustle OF this establishment.. none stop serving. Loving it And The sliders. Yawzheee It may be busy but youll get Your food In under 30 minutes unless they forgot about it. Lol

I'm not sure why this place has such poor rating? but probably would not come at midnight when people are drinking and craving a midnight snack lol. Anyways, I went in the middle of the day so there's a lot less people. I've been a fan of the frozen burgers since high school and they were always a stable in my freezer so I was pretty excited to try the deal thing. Like many of the reviews said, the service was on the slower side. But the workers literally individually pack each burger into a little box. I saw that the other reviews claim the workers were being rude and such, luckily I didn't experience any of that but again, it was on the slower side of "fast food". The burger itself taste exactly like the frozen ones lmfao. Slightly? disappointed there wasn't more of an oomph to it but I would consider these more of a "safe" pick late night snack. A different between the frozen ones and the fresh ones was that the fresh ones included pickles and cheese coated $.30 per slider extra. The buns and meat was so soft and gooey tho. I think it taste better with some sauce like mustard or a dash of mayo. Overall, it's meh but would go back for cravings lol. Price was okay? We got the #9 of 20 sliders and 2 fries for $31.99 I opted for cheese which was $.30 x 20 =$6 So entire meal was $41.17. Was it worth it? Well, It definitely could feed 2-3 people comfortably maybe a 4th if the group doesn't eat a lot. (The meal said it could feed 4-5, but I think the sliders are pretty small)

Your typical fast food environment. The service is pretty fast (at least the time we were there). It was busy as it's located on Fremont Street (Old Vegas Strip). Good for a quick bite. Would recommend if you've never tried White Castle.

Great grab and go spot if you're in Downtown Las Vegas! Service is fast and there's plenty of seating. It's also open 24/7! First time having it, got the #9 fish fillet which doesn't top McD's, great nonetheless! I really liked the black and white pictures from the mid 1900s of people enjoying White Castle! So much American history and culture!

This was my first and probably last time eating White Castle. It was not a bad experience, but there was nothing amazing enough for me to want to come back or go out of my way to find a White Castle. There is not a White Castle in Washington, so we wanted to give it a try. It is fairly cheap if you needed something quick and cheap to munch on. Not the cleanest inside at the time we went but can't judge that part too crucially given it is Las Vegas late at night with lots of people roaming around a bit intoxicated.

I've heard of White Castle and this was my first white castle ever. I think that no one really orders just one considering they have combo packs of multiple little burgers, but I did. The bread was airy, the meat was tiny, and there was a little cheese in my cheeseburger. I probably should have ordered two. I could see how this is a favorite where this chain exists. You order at the counter and they call your number. There was maybe just one sketchy person who walked in while I was there.

First time visiting a White Castle! I'm not from the area so I've only ever tried the frozen ones you get at your local grocery store. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they add pickles to the burgers exceeding my expectations with that (huge pickle lover). It's nothing out of this world but I was happy with them no complaints!

First time visiting White Castle and it didn't disappoint! The food was very tasty and the employees were very friendly. Kristy I believe is the manager was kind and had a nice personality. I can only imagine what all kinds of people these employees have to deal with in Vegas and she was very pleasant. Highly recommend stopping in here for a bite while your in this area. Prices are really good also! Kristy you have a Wonderful staff keep up the good

This food is worse than any elementary school cafeteria. And the fries were...bitter? Like they had soap or chemicals on them? How do you ruin fries? Terrible.

One of the worst places ive ever been ,they had like ten local guys outside standing in front of store congregated making it very uncomfortable which actually tried to pick a fight with my best friend for no reason whatsoever... Now the restroom horrible.. this is a tourist location, and they only have one restroom that's dirtier than any place I ever been in my life horrible Food was okay ... never will i ever return... i'm in the restaurant business and you can always tell a restaurant sensation, sanitation limits and service based off their bathrooms this place need inspections, secretly biweekly if not every week and need to be shut down permanently I'll be talking to the city of Las Vegas to make sure that all these things are executed immediately!!!

Horrible food service everything. I would give 0 if I could . Servers were bothered if anyone came. This is the heart of Fremont strip no beer allowed and they WILL give you attitude. So many better places. Waste of time

So after so many years of wanting to try this place after watching Harold & kumar, I got it. So the sliders were good and the little variety they have was cool. The burgers were very basic and the chicken sliders as well. Nothing too special but I'd have to be in the mood to have it again.

So I'm from the Midwest so we have White Castle, that's just a thing. It's open at all hours and it's there whenever you need it to. Especially if you've been drinking or whatever the case may be! It comes to win a clutch. Georgia doesn't have that, so when I made it to Vegas, of course I went ahead and dabbled! There was a line that was significantly long. For a while they actually weren't even cooking, well they didn't have enough staff to be able to cook and take orders at the same time so that really didn't help the situation. Once they got enough people to do both and kind of balance it out it got to move it. But in the same time, you have at least 30 people waiting in line to get their order taken. Either way, it was just like the White Castle from home for the most part. I got some cheeseburgers, nothing fancy. I feel like it's pretty straightforward at the end of the day. It's kind of dirty, because everybody's in and out I guess they don't have enough people to make the food and take orders so they don't have enough people to clean the table every 10 minutes I guess. But that's fine, so if you come in, you may actually see people have eaten and left there food bags on the table. That's the biggest gripe. But they have plenty of seats so you can probably find somebody's seat that didn't leave there food and trails there.

It was my first time! I will say it totally lives up to the hype that people talk about... I can see how some people crave W C, and how other people are not a fan, but I really did enjoy my experience. The staff was super friendly with lots of humor, and the service was incredibly fast! After a long day of gambling and walking all over downtown Las Vegas, it was a great place to grab a quick snack before our big dinner reservation. I only knew of W C from the frozen section at a grocery store and having them made fresh in front of us was pretty awesome. I also really liked the jalapeño cheese in the little slider. The bottom of the receipt has a restroom door code and the restaurant seating area wasn't very clean, but clean enough to be able to enjoy a quick bite, and then head back out to Fremont.

Been to Vegas last week and finally I get to try the famous White Castle. We parked on the street and walked in the heat to the shop. What a disappointment though. Omg What are they raving about??!! The food is edible but blah. Bathroom is filthy too.

I have a suspicion they're taking frozen burgers and just steaming them now. Rather than the classic meat cooking over onions. I saw them open a big lid to reveal perfectly stacked sets of burgers. I thought White Castle was also built for speed. This place is gruelingly slow.

This is another fast food place that I don't have the luxury of visiting on the regular back home. I honestly didn't need food, but I thought maybe if I'm hungry later this would placate for a late night snack. I was drawn in here by the huge lighted arrow from the outside. I stood in line and waited to place my order. The huge wait in here is because of the other customers. There are a lot of people that don't pay attention and hold up the line. Or just simple place a huge order that takes up a lot of time of the employees and ends up holding up the line because they need to tackle that order to keep the line moving. I was put off a bit by how they handled a customer as well. They really didn't treat the customer with the kindness you would expect. A customer is a customer, no matter their appearance. I eventually got my order and started to head back to my hotel room. I will admit I didn't eat this right away when I got back. I finally collapsed and slept the whole night. I can tell you that White Castle doesn't make a half bad breakfast. I mean, it's not the same as "fresh," but it wasn't so bad.

So damn convenient and the #2 hits the spot. Even after drinks, I can barely finish this meal. A lot of people in line ordered fish slider. Gonna try that next time. Love the free refills!

First time getting a White Castle fresh. Not impressed. Little hard things in the meat. Which made me completely over it. First time eating out in a year. I always make bad choices. Next time I'm going somewhere good. Maybe try Durango. While they're on their best behavior. Lol

For those who don't know or follow me, I don't usually eat fast food. However, I make exceptions when I'm traveling to experience what the regional offerings are (like other countries) or when it's a chain that isn't easily available in southern California. Like White Castle. Ended up here on a Sunday night with friends; wish we ended up somewhere else. I don't know how to describe the service. At one point, the staff just stopped taking orders. It looked like the entire staff - it's an open kitchen concept so you can see everything - everyone but one, who looked to be prepping more sliders, just stopped working. No explanation to the people in line. They just stopped. During their pause, someone could have cleaned up the restroom. After I placed my order, wanted to wash my hands. Got the code from one of the staff, walked in and didn't even bother walking in. The restroom was filthy. I mentioned it to a staff member - don't know if it was addressed. I never went back to check. I still carry around hand sanitizer; something I picked up during the pandemic. As for the food, for me, it was bland. Tiny. I wouldn't say juicy, just oily. I don't remember how many I ate but I know it wasn't much. I only had a few as this wasn't a primary meal for me, but a "try" experience. I've had it before, but it was a few years back and I remember thinking it was one of those moments I could say - been there, done that. After this time, especially with the service and cleanliness, it's - been there, won't be back.

Ok - if I could give this place 0 stars, I would. In fact, if I could give negative stars, I would. This has got to be one of the worst places in recent civilization and that is not hyperbole. First of all, the staff is sooooo slow and the line wasn't very long but it literally took an hour. I would say there was about 12 people in front of us. They even stopped the line twice so that the crew could catch up. I mean they basically only serve a few items but can't keep up. It was ridiculous. The face-to-face service was decent and the team was not mean or rude to customers but they just moved so slow, slapped food together and just were not happy working or maybe just didn't care but had to be there. I don't know what it was but just indifferent. Then the food - OMG the worst thing ever. The patty is basically tasteless and mush. It's gross. I just wanted to try it to see what the hype was all about; I never saw the movie or anything so had no idea but would always see a line. I don't know why there is a line the food is horrible, but I guess to each his own. I definitely would never, ever, ever return.

Fremont experience White Castle. Nice and hot cheese sliders with hot crinkle cut fries. Always tasty good!

Sliders were on par with other white Castles, however the staff at this location was bad. The person announcing the order numbers was calling over the intercom for people to "pick up their s#*t", and when our number came out, our group kept hearing him call out xx6 when our order was xx5, and it sounded like they were just going to toss our order until another staff finally went up to the intercom and CORRECTLY called our number as a last call. Not coming back to this location.

Wow guys this is bad. Notice that the tables are ALL dirty, the trash cans that are overflowing, and the meth addict passed out at the table. Not to mention the other addicts with sores on their faces asking for money and several others rolling joints or preparing other various drugs.

Great people working, friendly, courteous, polite, and cheerful. Food was hot and delicious.
