Beyaz Yunus, Near Olu Deniz, Turkey - Explore & Book

"Beyaz Yunus (meaning ‘White Dolphin’) started life as a fish restaurant, before owner Mehmet turned it into an adults-only 7-room retreat in 2007. He, manager Mustafa and his team have been working together ever since. Driving through heavily commercialised Olu Deniz to get here, you worry that you must be in the wrong place, but keep going until you spot the azure blue gate a mile or so out of town. Behind it is a parallel universe of peace. Beyaz Yunus is built into a hillside, and its sea views are incredible; you instantly feel that guests here have stumbled upon a great secret. Come for stunning scenery and tranquility, for lazy days and delicious dinners. The personalised service is amazing - nothing is too much trouble for the smiling, discreet staff - and everything feels very easy. You're a steep set of stairs from the beach (and a walk away from its famous Blue Lagoon), but the pool is beautiful; your biggest decision will be where to while away your days. Bring binoculars and a big book. Highs Glorious, panoramic sea views. We loved watching paragliders and beautiful sunsetsVery romantic. Each room has ocean vistas, a spacious terrace and a jacuzzi or private pool, so it's perfect for a honeymoonThe lovely main terrace, framed by olive trees and bougainvillea Fresh seafood in the restaurant, and breakfast served whenever and wherever you wantGreat cocktails and a sociable vibe at the Sunset Bar Lows Expensive, and a very strict payment policy (full payment upon reservation or 30 days prior to stay; non-refundable in the event of cancellation, though you may move dates depending on availability) The beach is shingle not sand, and had some rubbish dumped on one section, but they are working to improve thisOlu Deniz (the local town) is very 'Brits Abroad' and lights up like a fairground at night. Most guests spend their evenings at the hotel" - Emily Preece

Beyaz Yunus Hotel | Best places to stay on the Turquoise Coast

"With stand-out views over the vast beach at Oludeniz, the Beyaz Yunus achieves a perfect distance from, and proximity to, Turkey’s major resort. This charming, adult-only mini-retreat, with an exceptionally attentive staff and owner-manager, offers bright and spacious plantation-style rooms, one with its own pool, with picture windows looking out over the sea. There are lots of quiet corners, with shaded snoozing platforms and pool-side loungers. The Beyaz Yunus is so alluring that it can be a challenge to leave, though Oludeniz Beach is just a ten-minute walk away. You’ll also be tempted by the area’s wealth of easy-to-reach attractions, not least Oludeniz’s famed lagoon, the ‘ghost village’ of Kaya, Fethiye’s wonderful fish market and waterfront, and some of the world’s best tandem paragliding from the peak of Babadag Mountain. What an incredible experience here, made special every day by the incredible Mustafa. One to One service literally from the moment of our arrival. We know this area very well and have stayed in most Hotels in Olu Deniz but the layout of this Hotel, Privacy, direct sea views from everywhere, it is really a haven of peace and tranquility. Now the food is out if this world, no huge Menu for dinner, just let Mustafa know what you like and the chefs make it. The food is divine. Breakfast is wow, no breakfast order it just keeps coming and we've had something different every day. Direct access to a quiet small area at the end of the beach. 125 steps down with a handrail, I enjoy walking down but not walking up but a flat walk to the taxis and it's less than £4 to the front door. I have nothing negative to report, this stay has been an absolute luxurious delight and we cannot wait to return.

Just spent 4 nights here and it was an absolute pleasure. Great location overlooking the bay, beautiful room with good facilities including the shared pool area. Mustafa and his team were excellent, very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and Mustafa was keen to introduce us to a range or Turkish dishes. Highly recommended and we would be very happy to go back.

This is the second time we have stayed at Beyaz Yunis as it is by far the best hotel experience my wife and I have ever had and this includes exotic 5 star locations and remote boutique hotels. The rooms are beautifully decorated with class yet comfortable. The hotel pathways, flower gardens, and buildings are stunning. The hotel has Immediate access to the beach (steps) and good secure off street parking. But I have saved the best for last, Mustafa is by far the best person. He greets you at the gate on arrival, and waves goodbye from the road as you leave. In between he ensures your stay is fabulous, especially dinner in the evenings. A true gentleman. This hotel should be rated 5+star!

Beautiful hotel which offers tranquility, seclusion and amazing service. It is paradise. We stayed for 12 nights and are looking forward to returning. Mustafa, the manager is fabulous and attends to your every need. He has a wonderful team including the chef Ramazin, who serves the most delicious food. If you are dining in the evening, Mustafa will confer with you at breakfast to confirm a meal plan. The hotel has seven rooms, all of which are unique. There is a lovely infinity pool and steps outside the hotel take you down to the beautiful Oludeniz beach. It’s a great place to explore Oludeniz and the surrounding areas, whilst offering an oasis of peace. Thank you Mustafa and to all at the Beyas Yunas for a truly magical holiday.

This review is long overdue! We stayed at Beyaz Yunus in June 2024 for a special birthday trip, and had nothing short of a fabulous experience. The star of the show, as others have noted, is Mustafa. He is the kindest and most accommodating host. Beyaz Yunus wouldn’t be half of what it is without him. We arrived late in the evening on our first day and he made sure we were fed a proper meal before retiring to the room for rest. He had so many personal touches from recommendations for restaurants, to making reservations for travel, and even those special frozen lemonades by the pool. The meals he arranged for us at Beyaz Yunus were some of the best we’ve had in our lifetime. The room was large, comfortable, and tastefully designed, while having a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was always immaculately cleaned. We often talk about our experience at Beyaz Yunus as one of our most memorable travel experiences, but that is largely in part to the role that Mustafa played. I couldn’t imagine traveling to Oludeniz and not having him be a part of it.

This has to be the most relaxing, homely hotel.||Mustafa welcomes you as if you’re coming home, nothing is too much trouble for him and his wonderful team.||Our room (6) of only seven in the hotel was warmly presented in a colonial style, the bathroom was amazing with a fabulous shower, first class toiletries and towels.||The rooms were cleaned to a great standard, and the views from the balcony were spectacular.||Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful, sufficient to last the whole day till dinner, and what an amazing experience this was.||Fresh fish, cooked to order, all served as you’d think you really were at home.||Thank you Mustafa.||We highly recommend this wonderful oasis.
