White Envelope Arepa Bar

R. House is seriously one of my favorite places to hang in Baltimore...because of White Envelope. It's run by Chef Federico Tischler, and the man can do no wrong. He offers a mind-blowing menu that mixes traditional Venezuelan food with global flavors and preparations, and there's something for everyone! I recommend la REINA pepiada, el CERDO ilustrado, and la MORCILLA, but you'll seriously love whatever you decide to get. Happy eating, friends!

Food poisoning: 5/19/18 at 11:34am I took my best friend to R House. She ate the vegan arepa and drank tea from White Envelope. My friend said it was good and the service was quick, but about an hour later she was incredibly sick. She isnt from Maryland, so I can only imagine her discomfort going home. It’s currently 5/20/18, and she’s notified me that she’s still very sick. If you’re thinking about trying White Envelope: The food may be good, but please consider if you’re willing to risk food poisoning. There are at least two other reviews on here which describe food poisoning. We only saw them AFTER this incident, which is unfortunate.

Nope, no way, not at those prices. I love the place in Canton, but there's nothing "street food" about 9 dollar arepas. Most of them taste alright, but the blood sausage arepa is one of the single crummiest things I've ever ordered.

If you are looking to eat something different in Baltimore and have never tried the Venezuelan arepa, this is the best place to try it !! If you already know the taste of venezuelan seasoning you will enjoy it incredibly! Be sure to try the Coolest Bullet Hot Dog

After coming to R House many times and walking by this place, I finally decided to try an arepa. I had the atun tuneado, which was very good. I wish they had a few simpler things on their menu, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Loved it! Got the Literate Pig arepa. Well seasoned, and the combination of arugula and rest of the ingredients made it delish!

Freshly made arepas with great ingredients. Very delicious and would recommend, even though the service is a little slow.

It’s not 100% Venezuelan street food, more fusion cuisine. They should come up with an authentic Venezuelan dishes to pull Latino customers into the restaurant

When I arrived I was SUPER shocked because I thought this was a regular sit down restaurant. After walking inside you are greeted with several different options across a wide range of cultures. If you was feeling for sushi, pizza, burritos or even ramen they have that option. They even have a section where a "new restaurant" is available for a limited time. Unfortunately when I was there the pop up shop wasn't going to open until 2 days later so i definitely will be visiting again.

I had an amazing experience at R House for my friends birthday! We got burritos and sushi and some drinks and everything was great. The food was easy to order and the staff was nice! We sat outside and it was relaxing/ there was plenty of room and it's perfect for big groups or a fun date night. Fun fact: the bar doesn't have redbull I got a mocha spiked coffee drink and a rum punch and both were awesome! I will be back for sure!

There are many choices to meet your taste buds' desires. This morning I arrived before most stalls were open, but the bar was serving as was Kitsch, where I stopped for coffee. You should know that opening is at 8 and closing is 10 pm on Sundays. There are booths and large seating areas and tables and chairs. I appreciate that separation of recycling and waste is encouraged. I noticed people meeting up to chat, eat, and one teacher grading papers. It truly is your house to do as you please.

I came to R House to get out of the house and get some work done. I ordered breakfast at Kitsch. I started with a drip coffee with oat milk, which was perfectly brewed. Alongside my coffee, I had a breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese on a brioche bun. The flavors were rich and the brioche bun added a delicious touch of sweetness. The staff at Kitsch were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and ensuring that my visit was enjoyable. One of their recommendations was a side of syrup, which turned out to be a fantastic addition to my sandwich. It's been a while since I've been at R house during early hours so I'm not sure how long Kitsch has been here but I would definitely look forward to coming back. Especially since the vibe at R House has been so great for working remotely.

This place has a lot of options to eat. Though this time I went to R. Bar specifically, it provided the same vibe as usual. The service was quick and fairly friendly. It is a good stop when you want a quick bite to eat and drink. I tried the "R"ye Mule and strawberry lemon drop. I suggest you ask what drinks are pre made because some of the drinks are premade. The parking lot adjacent is typically filled, so you have to find street parking. Over flow is available at the parking lot across the intersection. I would suggest walking through first to get an idea of the different locations before Committing to one.

R. House is a industrial-chic food hall with various food vendors and a central bar. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating open 7 days a week. This is a great meeting spot if you want to connect with friends or family, or want a change of an environment working remotely. They even host various events here. My favorite restaurant there is a pop up spot called, Spice Kitchen, a west African grill. Their food is so good, I love the lamb chops, spice wings and the steak suya. The house made spice honey sauce really takes their dishes to the next level.

This place is a vibe! It's not your average food hall. They're open daily, and they have a lot to offer. I stopped by on a Monday night since I was in the area. There was live music, great happy hour specials, and plenty of options to get food. I enjoyed some empanadas from Tio G's. There were vendors selling merchandise. Love it! Also kid and family friendly. Easy parking!

this place is fun! they advertise that it's made to be a community space, which you can definitely tell be the lay out and events they host. i've heard their salsa night is great, but i came here for food. i got 2 chicken tacos (w/ no cheese) at the taco stall which were pretty good, if a bit overpriced for what they were. no complaints really! i also got taiyaki at a different stall which was actually pretty bad and tasted like freezer. i'd like to give most places and food the benefit of the doubt though as the tacos were good and a lot of the other food looked pretty good too. maybe i'll attend one of their community events in the future!

I've been hearing about this food hall for a while now, and I'm glad to finally made it. It's a lot smaller than expected, but I did hear that the tacos place and greek place were the best spots in here. We tried a Greek bowl, which was super healthy and satisfying and then got a mini cup of ice cream. It's a great place to chill, especially for a bigger party.

There are a lot of food halls to check out in Baltimore and maybe this one shouldn't be on the list. I think other than BRD, none of the other spots really call my name. The bar area is pretty nice and I like that have a station for communal water. You can take a jug and cups to your table and fill them from their station. We ordered a sandwich and tenders from BRD. Everything HIT! All their sauces are good too. You can't go wrong with a Bmore BRD. Their buffalo sauce was top tier. We were able to find street parking pretty easily. I don't know if I would come here again given that the location doesn't as much to offer as other food halls. Just an idea though - for a date idea you could come here for lunch and head over Greedy Reads to find a book. You can go to Federal Hill Park - have a nice view of the city and read on the bench.

R. House in Baltimore is a vibrant food hall with a fantastic bar at its heart. The cocktails are creative, the atmosphere is lively, and there's always a great mix of people. Perfect for grabbing drinks and exploring delicious food options under one roof! Good parking. Close to the miracle on 34th street

A food court with a bar. Can't beat that! Great for brunch/lunch. Accommodating a variety of tastes in a nice, open space. Outdoor seating available too for nice days.

First of all, whoever came up with this concept is awesome and I thank you. This is like a mall food court but way better. Customer Service I've been twice already and I can't wait to return. R. House has something for everyone with a plethora of cuisines to choose from. We didn't get to interact with the employees when ordering because orders were taken through a kiosk, but we were greeted when it was time to order. Food BRD-We selected the BRD. A classic fried chicken sandwich with fries and a beverage. I wasn't expecting this sandwich to be so huge, but it was big, mighty, and good. My sandwich was juicy, hot, fresh, fried to perfection and did I say delicious? I forgot to take pictures because my food was so good. Taharka Brothers- We met with a couple of friends and ended our lunch with a sweet treat. I was elated to see Taharka Brothers my family loves the Honey Graham flavor and I love the cookies and cream. Ambiance I love it!!! The concept is awesome, a way better food court than your regular malls. Oh, and the best part is the BAR!!! Parking Street Parking is available, they also have a small parking lot and overflow.

Honestly I was surprised how peaceful it was on a Sunday around lunch time. I decided to try Be Bim Korean BBQ. I order their famous corn dog and pork belly bowl with bugolgi sauce because I'm a sucker for sweet and spicy! Perfect portion of sauce, meat, and rice. I didn't feel like the vegetables crowded the bowl either. Their corndog with fries were both so crispy. Each bite was like the start of an ASMR video. Best part was I got my food within 10 minutes. 10/10 would come again. Will be coming back to R House to try other foods soon !

Good food, lots of choices of places to go and eat. I took a walk around because I wasn't very hungry but I did want to try something different. I ended up getting a pizza empanada, just one of them, as I wanted to save room for Taharka ice cream or one of the other places that had dessert. My pizza empanada was good. It was hot, the outside was crispy and the inside was just full of deliciousness. The service upon ordering and then receiving my food was excellent as well as the Taharka ice cream we had afterwards. It was my first time to the R House but it won't be my last. I did find a tad bit loud as there were a lot of kids running around playing on some of the structures in the front area of the restaurant. It was a Friday evening at the end of the summer so I do understand about kids being out for an evening with their friends. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend checking this restaurant out. Also a quick note about parking, their parking lot is very small but the police lot that is diagonally away from the restaurant has many more spaces.

R. House is a great spot to grab a bite in one of the many food stalls. It is a great spot to do some remote work, do a dinner date, or catch up with friends during lunch time :) Today I visited the Koshary and OMG this is SO delicious - everything on their menu is VEGAN!! I was so full earlier in the day, so I had a Turkish coffee. It was *chef's kiss* delicious. The staff are friendly and quick to attending to your order.

Hey ya'll, heeey! In honor of March 2nd being "national old stuff day," here's a shout out to an oldie but goodie... R.House is one of my favorite food courts to grab lunch or dinner I can take on the go & sit down and enjoy in their abundance of nicely spaced seating. Hilo's poke bowls, BRD's various chicken sandwiches, and Taharka brothers ice cream are three of my tried and true favorites to keep in rotation, but they also do pop-ups and Spice Kitchen West African Grill from Brentwood, MD (DC) is the featured vendor for a few weeks in March. If you haven't had THAT jollof rice yeeeeeettttt or the suya spice rubbed grilled salmon & shrimp, or those spicy lamb chops kissed with seasons from the heavens above, then now is your chance to go get some plateSSSSSSS.... As in plural, for testing ALLLLLL THEE THINGS during the short stretch of days Spice Kitchen is making a cameo at R.House. Get some puff puff and stewed spinach and plantains and settle yourself into a nice cozy cafeteria table to roll your sleeves up and iiiiiinnnnnndduullllggeee in the DMV's tastiest Nigerian delights. If you see me doing the same while you're chowing down, come say Hey... AFTER I'm finished eating my snacks, LOL.

I love this concept. Altho I didn't get any drinks from the bar I appreciate that they use glassware in a cafeteria type setting. Unfortunately we got there at closing so only has a few options that were still open and BRD made me very happy so it was worth it. The guys were very nice considering we were last minute.

There's been a lot changing at R House lately! With a new breakfast vendor, a new empanada spot, a new vegetarian stall (coming soon), and an ever changing pop up, there has been a lot to explore at this staple food hall. I stopped in on a Wednesday evening craving Thai food and Taharka Brothers ice cream (kind of a weird combination but hey, don't judge). Specifically, I wanted pineapple fried rice and I fully expected to have to go home and order that for delivery. Much to my surprise, the pop up was taken over by a Thai spot that has pineapple fried rice! Win! It also happened to be right next to the Taharka Brothers stall. Double win! The rice took a little while to come out but it's because they were making everything fresh! You could see all the ingredients going in right in front of you. Soon enough, I was leaving with a box of yummy rice and a double scoop of chocolate love and honey graham from Taharka. Everything was delicious. Although the rice wasn't as good as BeMore Thai's in my opinion, it still satisfied my craving. Gotta love the convenience of a place like R House. I'm excited to see what the new additions bring to the space!

I love a good food court and R House is no exception. I was here recently for a Yelp event across the street and there was no food there so after the event, I came here with a couple folks to grab a late dinner. They have good options for different dietary needs. It's a pretty solid place for a good and quick meal when needed.

Cool spot with various options; and a large space to sit down and enjoy a meal and do some work or socialize. There is sushi, Dominican, Korean, Thai food, Fried chicken, a vegan spot I believe, and coffee. I went for the BRD, chicken sandwich, and I enjoyed every bite. Should've gotten the two piece though. Love the concept!

I went to a Yelp event across the street on a Thursday evening that did not have any food. After I left it around 845 I was quite hungry, so I had into our house for a quick bite to eat. I have not been here in quite some time, I did not realize that they close at 9 PM. Thought I had a little bit more time. A few of the eateries had already closed up for the evening so I was not able to get my first choice when it came to picking a meal it was still very spacious inside with plenty of seating, it look like the bar area was very lively with someone celebrating a birthday. I chose not to partake in any beverages from the bar because I just wanted some food to go. I have another review for the place that I chose to order food from.

Something about eating in Baltimore City with open vendors is absolutely gross. The floors are filthy around each restaurant rear entrance leaving me with an impression rats are running crazy @ night (possibly during days). I ordered but requested refund. Couldn't stomach the idea of eating after visual inspection. Has the health department inspected these establishments recently??????

I've been to Plate + Grind twice in the last few months and it so deserves its own review! Plate + Grind is in the corner next to Amano Taco and it is an amazing spot for a delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee at a reasonable price. The staff are always so friendly and the menu is amazing. I was really tempted by the grilled cheese with blueberry, but opted for the much lighter Turkey Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. They have a ton of sauce options for your sandwich and we tried pesto and Chipotle aioli, both were great and enhanced the sandwiches. We also ordered grits and while they were a bit salty for me, they were buttery and savory and we didn't leave a single drop

Honestly this is a fave place of mine. Having the ability to choose different food options is amazing. It's like a food hall type of place. So far I've tried the following BRD (pictures today are from here) Creole soul Taharka (Ice cream) And the pizza spot that's here (forget the name) Everything has been delicious. Places to sit inside. There's also a bar. People bring their kids, work, Laptops. People have meetings here. Overall it's just a great place

It's a good place if you want to try different types of food. There is pizza, jerk, soul food, Korean, poke bowls, sushi rolls, Ethiopian street food, ice cream. We came with a fairly large group with kids. So we tried a bit of everything. Food was good. Pricey for finger food. It's more like food trucks style but in a building. Bathrooms are clean. There is plenty of seating inside the dining room. Everyone is friendly. Plenty of parking on the street and they have a small parking lot.

If you can't decide what you're in the mood for, this is your spot! They do offer several different options. Since they have opened, some spots came and went. Some have been there for as long as I can remember. There is one spot reserved for pop-ups which I think it a cool concept. They also have a bar in the middle which I have gone once and loved the drink creations! There are plenty of tables and space for singles up to a large family! In terms of the food, I would be cautious as some items IMO felt like they were overpriced. On our recent visit, we saw this Cajun spot that was charging $25 for shrimp and grits. I don't recall ever paying that at a southern restaurant in Charleston! Even the bibim spot, as a Korean, I think charging $20 is a little over the top as this dish isn't meant to be fancy and more meant to be a comfort dish. My all time favorite is BRD sandwich. The taste, quality and price are equal. I haven eaten here several times and I have never been disappointed. I also tried the pizza spot Molina's and it was DELICIOUS!! Perfectly cooked crust and the cheese and flavors jived so well! I do wish one thing was that for the price, it had some more toppings on them!

Frozen strawberry Margarita x2, very strong! Best part about the bar is ebony able to get food and sit right back at the bar. Bartenders could be a little more attentive. Noisy Burger (smash burger) was delicious. French fries from BRD. This will always be a safe space!

With close family in walking distance to R. House and having small children I tow, we typically visit at least once each time I'm in town. Twice in two days. Food very good both times. First visit was pizza, 2nd visit was Korean. If I'm going out to eat I prefer a more traditional dining experience, but Food Halls are fine. I will probably never love them as a place to go for a family dinner. Would not have been my first choice this evening. Food was good and all left full and happy!

Pleasant eatery with options for all dietary preferences and tastebuds!! Loved my shrimp and grits from Creole Soul! The dairy-free strawberry ice cream from Taharka was heavenly

On this visit to our house, I visited the pop-up restaurant that they have in the right corner next to tahaka Brothers ice cream. The pop-up restaurant is currently a Thai restaurant which I will say was worth the money. The rice is cooked well flavored the spin on the pineapple rice it's normally you know what's inside of a pineapple with this time. It was just pineapple chunks within the rice with the chicken and shrimp. Not sure how long they are going to be there but if you get a chance go check it out.

Dropped by on a Sunday night for dinner and drinks (before Labor Day) . The place is decked up nicely, lots of seating (indoor and outdoor) and I really liked the aesthetic. However... the drinks from the bar were pretty terrible. We got three different types and all three were disappointing. Tried to get food, but everything closed by 9pm so missed out on that. Nice place to hang out but cannot recommend the bar.

R-House is located in a building with other food vendors. They have their own private parking lot, along with additional parking at the Police Precinct not too far by. They have an amazing selection of beer and cocktails available. I ordered the House Punch ($8), which had muddled mixed berries, vodka, rum and sour mix. This cocktail is on the sour end, but I enjoyed it. They also have Orange Crushes for $5, which considering the price for food around there, was a good deal. This bar was definitely a delight.

Okay, this one is tough. I really enjoy R. House because of the atmosphere and the liveness that is in the food stall hall. However, sometimes I feel like you can really luck up with good food and sometimes you can get just okay food. This is one of the times when I visited when the food was just okay. I learned it important lesson today that not all tacos are created equally. My children wanted tacos so we got them two chicken tacos and why I didn't think they were necessarily bad. I didn't think they were necessarily good and definitely not for children. I don't think that's the taco stalls fault but it would be nice if R. House had a food stall vendor that was really more family friendly. Again, no fault of the taco place but it just wasn't a taco that is for the pallet of a child. I had TioG's, specifically a cheeseburger. I was excited about the burger because I saw that the food stall was cooking on the circular evo style grill that I've seen on cooking shows. I ordered a cheeseburger and without asking what kind of cheese, cheese whiz was placed on my burger. I suppose I could've asked what type of cheese but I would have never thought that cheese whiz would be an option. I've never seen cheese whiz on a burger and hopefully never will again. It was not a good experience with this burger. Finally, my wife had an empanada and while it was okay I did taste it, It was just okay. Nothing that would make me want to return to R. House to specifically get an empanada again. My favorite ice cream vendor, Taharka Bros, also has a stand in R. House....but you guesses it. When I attempted to get ice cream the staff at the stall told me that they were on a 30 minute break. So overall our food experience wasn't that great at the R. House but the atmosphere was great. I'll definitely be back to R. House because it's such a creative community space.

I went to R House after work with some colleagues and had a very enjoyable experience. R House is a food hall that sells alcohol. Their food choices include Mexican, Korean, Poke, Pizza, Vegan, and Cajun Soul Food. The bar has good beer and cocktail selections. You can find a little something for everyone. I saw some families with children, as well as a lot of students from John's Hopkins University being dropped off by a JHU shuttle. This place is probably packed when the weather is warm. Eat, drink, and socialize like an adult at R House.

Went for trivia night.. beautiful day..was able to sit outside and enjoy the inside / outside esthetic. The service at the Poke stall wasn't the best, but the Sassy Poke Bowl was outstanding. The bartenders were swamped, but all were friendly and tremendously knowledgeable.. It was a great fun night with friends..

ONE of my favorite dining halls in Baltimore! R HOUSE has it all! Great customer service, nice atmosphere and lots of food options to choose from. There really is something for everyone to enjoy. It is family friendly and also a great place to work for free that has water and wifi. I love the pop up shop option they have as it really is fun way to continuously try new places to eat. My favorite staples are the pizza restaurant, Taharka Brothers ice cream, BRD and currently a Nigerian food spot called Spice Kitchen ( photographed below). They do have a bar fully stocked with drinks and also a great outdoor space with fire pit! There is also lots of parking in the parking lots nice to the building, on the street or across the street as well. It is open 7 days a week and they also have a large back room that can be used for events etc. This is one of my favorite dining halls in Bmore for surest

What's not to love, multiple food options with a bar right smack in the middle of it all. During this visit it appeared 2 or 3 stalls were not opened, it could have been the day or time. But that didn't t impact my visit because my group came for drinks. We tried several items from the bar as well as the Dr.Pepper Bomb. My favorite was the Oatmeal Stout. The doors were wide open and despite Covid-19 spacing restrictions there was still plenty of space to spread out and feel safe. Of course the only thing that would make this place better is a larger adjacent parking lot attached to the building but have no fear because a short walk across the street there is Free and safe parking at the police department.

We came here on a Friday night and this place was PACKED- but for good reason! Starting with the vibes, this place was very lively and had a band playing and featured a central bar. The seating varied between tables, booths, and benches. It does get pretty crowded and loud on the weekends though, so best to come early if you are with a bigger group. Now onto the food: R house offers 10 vendors with a variety of foods ranging from Korean bbq to tacos to burgers! There is truly something for everyone. We ended up getting a pesto pizza from Molina and the chicken and pork tacos from Amano tacos. The pizza was amazing, with ripe tomatoes and a thin, crunchy crust! They have a wide variety of unique flavors, but we're sold out of the mushroom when we went, so I'll definitely have to come back to check that one out. The chicken tacos started off super strong with lots of flavor and a delicious sauce. The pork taco however, was disappointing. It was bland and flavorless, and the sauce just tasted like oil with no flavor. I would recommend skipping the pork tacos and opting for chicken or another kind! The presentation was great however.

Was there the other night and the service, which is normally great, was abysmal. When I first sat down I tried to get the attention of one of the bartenders who was standing idle. He was chatting with a customer for quite some time, even to the point where I noticed the other bartenders trying to work around him as he stood chit chatting. This took about 10+ minutes. When I was finally served, by him, I believe his name was Drew, he was incredibly rude and short with me. I left feeling like I was a burden to him. And to top it off I literally saw him smoking weed behind the dumpsters as I left. I guess now we know why he was so slow to serve me.

I always enjoy visiting the R. House. I love the fact that there are multiple places to choose from for food. There's a bar also that you can get alcoholic beverages. I've tried the Be.bim Korean BBQ, Amano Taco, Creole Soul, and BRD. There's other places to choose from as well. If you love Tarharka Brother's Ice Cream, there's one located in the R. House as well. Next to the bar is free water. There are tables all over so you can choose to sit anywhere you'd like. The parking lot is not big at all. There is street parking. Overall, it is a very cool place to visit whether your getting grub or choosing to sit at the bar.

I underestimated Baltimore yet again! As a DC Gal at heart, I never experienced a food hall with a central bar. The parking lot is small but there is additional parking on the street and at the parking garage up the street. If you park in the garage make sure you ask for parking validation either at the central bar or at the front desk. Outdoor patio seating is available and it's a cute corner spot with a bon fire for a group of people to sit. I saw a few people with their laptops so this could be a cool spot for all my remote and study friends. Service at the bar was super friendly and fast. You can either sit at the bar or order your drink and go back to wherever you were sitting. Cool concept if you ask me. My original plan was to eat at Creole Soul Restaurant but I had no idea what I was walking into , until I walk into it. All Americas favorite foods are available at different vendors. You have burgers, pizza, tacos, soul food, ice cream, and Korean bbq. There are a couple of vegetarian options for my healthy folks. However, there was a Jamaican pop up restaurant there as well and will be there until 12/31. The slogan was "Jamaican me crazy" when it should've been "Jamaican me questionable". The goat curry was not worth the $23 bucks. I had more bones than goat and I was not too "crazy" about that. A better review though, creole soul was manifico. That was the first time I had a whole lobster on top of my Mac n cheese. The pasta was creamy, savory, and just down right tasty, respectfully. The lobster was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm super confident the rest of the food is just as good so I can't wait to go back. R house is a recommended spot for a group of friends or a good place to go when you not sure what you are in the mood to eat.

My family and I believe this is the best food hall in Baltimore we had ever visited so far. Large interior with plenty of spaced tables. Outdoor sitting is available. Very good varieties of food stalls with one space dedicated to a monthly rotation of pop ups. There was full bar for those times when liberation is called for. I saw nightly music entertainment by local bands advertised. On site security person roaming around. Bathrooms were relatively clean. Large free parking lot across the street next to a police station. No better security than that. This is a good place to meet up with friends for foods and drinks.

I'm used to visiting R. House recreationally (read: drinks or starving for all the foods), but recently met up with a friend here to cowork for the first time. If you're looking to do the same, this review is for you: - there is free wifi that worked really well, no password required - the only place they have outlets is the long table behind r. bar - the music level is the same throughout the day/evening, so keep that in mind - the r. house lot is still always full, so save the time and just park across the street in the police lot I was a little surprised by the lack of outlets, especially in the booths. The long table could get full really quick too. It's very lively at all times, so you'll have to decide if this is the spot for you/your work flow!

R.house has been on my 'must-try: found on instagram' list for a while. We finally ventured up to check out their Rendezvous Drag Comedy Show; making a night of it! I was worried about Bmore parking, but we were able to get a free parking spot right out front! Once inside, the ambiance was a bit chaotic. The place was overly crowded, so navigating around the stalls was difficult. I was super worried someone would knock my tray of food over. Finding a seat became a contest between our group 'first one to get a spot gets a drink'. We tried various stalls: -BRD- this was what we came for. The meal lived up to the drool worthy photos. The chicken was juicy, crispy, and well-seasoned with sauce drenched all over. Overall, worth $9, but not something I'd crave and actively go eat again. -Hilo: The Sassy Sushi Burrito was delicious; with hearty pieces of fish-it provided a great combination of flavors. $14 for a burrito was basically comparable to a fancy roll. It wasn't great as a stand-alone meal, but as a side to the rest of our dining it was a good choice! -Bc.bim-We split a Honey Ginger Tofu bowl & Spicy Squid bowl-very disappointing. The bowls weren't worth $14- very minimal toppings, it was mostly rice. The seasonings/glazes were on the top of the bowl but didn't trickle down. The squid wasn't spicy. Skip this stall. I really enjoyed the drag show-there was a lot of variety (singing, lipsyncing, comedy, spoken word, and burlesque.) I'd go again to cheer on everyone, but as for the food, compared to other Markets in Bmore, I'd probably check this off my 'tried' list and opt for other places as a regular go-to.

When you're hungry but not sure exactly what you want to eat, come to R. House. Tons of options from breakfast to dinner to dessert, and from a variety of cuisines that cater to both vegans and omnivores, with reasonable prices and plenty of seating. The constant hustle and bustle is nice and it feels like a fancy food court. My personal favorite is Hilo Poké & Sushi - delicious custom poké bowls! I've also had my eye on the ice cream place that's next to it for a while - I haven't tried it yet but they seem to have really cool flavors and there's usually a long line. Also, it's slightly easier to find parking here compared to other places in Baltimore because there's a couple of parking lots and usually some street parking.
