This is by far Authentic as it get!!! 😋 White House Tajine is #1 with all re right spices and everything is freshly made right then. My son is in town and I wanted to treat him to a good moroccian restaurant. I didn’t want to go far and so I found this one online. We loved all of our dishes. Mr. Mohamed, make you feel so welcoming, as if you been there before. I went to Morocco with my children as a summer break because they were homeschooled but 3 month turned in 2 years. I met some wonderful people I could never forget. It felt like home so my son and I knew what to order. All the food was soo tasty as if we were back home in Morocco. Thank you Mr. Mohamed for a wonderful experience and we will be back again soon. InshaAllah Go by and check out the White House Tajine.

If you don't like long reviews, let me start by saying DON'T sleep on this place!! It's tiny, it's not in a rush and it's amazing Moroccon food!!! I don't think there's anything on the menu that isn't absolutely delicious. Like I said, it's a small spot, we walked in without a reservation, because we didn't know, and still got a table because the guy running it is awesome. So thanks for that and kids, call ahead and make sure you get a table. Inside its pretty much a one man show on the floor, so don't get all annoying if your order takes a minute, you're not in Philly for the next 2h you're in Morocco and things aren't always in a rush there. I am still blown away by the chicken appetizer with cinnamon and powdered sugar and of course, the lamb kebabs were amazing! End it with a teal and a pistachio cake and you're in caloric overdrive heaven. All in all great food, great service and we will be back. Thanks !!!

Google
Family owned restaurant that is so welcoming. Every time I visit Pennsylvania I make sure I stop here! The Morrocan food here is the best and most authentic food you will ever have! The presentation is incredible and if it's your birthday please go! They will look out for you. I am so thankful I found this place!

Google
Without doubt one of the best meals you will find on the Main Line!! Very small seating area. I recommend a reservation. The owner serves the small seating area and he is so lovely and warm!! Love the way they decorated as well. It's very cozy. This isn't and doesn't function like a traditional American restaurant with the idea of a quick in and out. Come here with the mentality of having a family dinner and being treated like family. We ordered the Lamb Tajine and Zaalouk. I could eat it every day of my life with pure joy. The food was cooked fresh and perfectly. Every last bit of it. We completely ate every last bit of food on the serving tray. Enjoy some mint tea at the end of your meal. Perfectly satisfying. Best baklava I've had on the Main Line! I highly recommend this place!! It's now one of my favorite restaurants. Worth the visit, drive, whatever you need to get here.

Google
Cute little hidden place in the Main Line area. We tried the most amazing chicken kebabs—everything was delicious! The chef is an incredible cook. This family-owned business won us over, and we'll definitely be back. Note: you will need reservations. I mentioned it was my sister’s birthday, and the owner decorated our table with a "Happy Birthday" banner, which was so sweet! Thank you so much!

Google
We came in for an early brunch this past Sunday… all I can say is we are so happy we did! We got the special brunch board the owner recommended… starting with amazing mint tea, a Turkish coffee, strawberry and fig bowl with honey and then main course board loaded with Moroccan favorites… I highly suggest checking this place out, trusting the owners recommendations and enjoy every bite!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at White House Tajine, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing – authentic flavors that transported us straight to Morocco. We were so impressed with our initial orders that we couldn’t resist ordering more! Each dish was a delightful blend of spices and ingredients, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The tajines were particularly standout, with tender meats and vibrant vegetables simmered to perfection. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great dining experience. They were more than happy to explain the menu and make recommendations, which we greatly appreciated. White House Tajine has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for authentic Moroccan cuisine with outstanding service, this is the place to go!

Google
Stellar! Love Tagine! We showed up at 5 and the whole place was full so we had to leave and make a reservation for 8 that evening. They were very accommodating. The place is sweet and cozy and the service is authentic and pleasant. The food is phenomenal from the choices that we made. Just the first course and a tagine with a few options was enough and the hummus and baba was the best I might have ever had. Incredible veggies if you are a veg also. Overall a very phenomenal meal and we will return to this place soon!

Yelp
i had lunch for the first time last week at White House Tajine. I cannot believe I did not know this deliciousness on the Main Line existed! First of all, on a cold winter day, it was so nice to be in their cozy space with cushioned couches and embroidered cushions as backing in the sunny alcove at the front of the restaurant. Then the food, oh, such scrumptiousness! Chicken Pastilla - 5*/5 - flaky phyllo dough dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar, a delectable mixture of chicken, almonds, raisins? dates? inside, yum! Baba Ganoush - 5*/5 - the best baba ganoush I've ever had including my ten days in Greece, amazing! It's a silky smooth blend of the eggplant with olive oil and the hot from the oven perfectly toasted pita triangles accompany this to make it even more tasty Greek salad - 4/5 - basic salad with fresh vegetables, I would have liked the pieces to be cut larger but that's a personal preference And now for the truly amazing finish, the baklava! 5***/5 The proprietor said he made the best baklava and he was correct. It is truly the best baklava I've ever had - it was light and flaky, not cloyingly sweet or sticky the way most are prepared, there was some special extra light flavor (rose water?) that made it extra special. I can't wait to go back and try more items and definitely have more of that baklava (might need to stop by and get some for a snack when I'm in Bryn Mawr!)

Yelp
While looking for a celebratory restaurant to celebrate 2 birthdays, I came across White House Tajine. I made the reservation and then read several reviews where couples were turned away on Valentine's Day even with reservations, so I called to triple check we were on the list and remind them in person we were celebrating 2 birthdays. When we got to the restaurant, we walked into the main dining room but were ushered upstairs. In that small dining room, the walls are draped in fabric with the decor seeming to be a little tired. We started with a small mezze which was an okay size for four although we could have used more pita bread. The 5 dishes in the mezze were a good variety, and I especially enjoyed the baba ghanoush. My husband had the Kefta Tagine which he said was good although a little under seasoned. I liked the Chicken Tagine as it came out hot and juicy although it too could have used more seasoning. One of our friends was not happy with his chicken cous cous while his wife had the lamb kabob. She said it was good although dry. Because we were upstairs, the servers had to constantly run up and down the stairs, so they kept opening the front door. As our table was right next to the stairs, throughout the meal I kept jumping up from my seat to dash down the stairs in order to close the door since they kept leaving it open. No one seemed to care the cold air was blowing in through the open front door, and I kept having to ask the servers to please close the door. It also took a long time to get our entrees, and people who were seated after us appeared to get theirs well before us. At the end of the meal, there was not one acknowledgment for the real reason we were there--to celebrate 2 birthdays. Overall, interesting food and a money-saving BYOB, but just an okay experience.

Yelp
Service was terrible, which affected everything else. Bread promised to the table never came, nor a waiter to ask about it. Water was delivered after 10 or 15 minutes. Though we had a reservation for 7 pm, they seemed totally unprepared for us and seemed very shortstaffed. We were told the person who checked us in, Zach, had already left. Nobody came to check on us while waiting or during the meal and items that were requested to come first as an appetizer, such as soup and the pastilla dish, were served altogether with entrées. The worst was checking out. We were never given a bill. The waiter came with an iPad and said what the total was, $177 for 4 people. Seemed high, but we just paid it and left. On the way home we tried to calculate how the bill could be that high for what we ordered. We were given no receipt and none was emailed, so we saw no breakdown of the charges. I called there the next day and left a message, where nobody called back. I called again later in the day and spoke with someone 3 TIMES before I got an emailed receipt, and could finally see the errors. I was actually texted screenshots, where I could see the charges. We were charged for a lamb couscous ($39) instead of a vegetable couscous ($29), a $10 difference in an already overpriced dish that had few vegetables and little couscous. Expecting to share it with 2 people, it was good that we ordered some other things. It was not a proper serving for 2 (small portion) and it was just ok. We were also charged twice for tea when asked if we wanted refills. Can you believe $20 for tea? All in all, a huge overcharge. Instead of refunding just the difference in the charge, he refunded the price of the entire dish, so the refund was $51. But in what occurred with the service and the fact we could not get a bill, put a real damper on an otherwise pleasant evening with friends. There is no excuse for what happened, and will likely prevent me from returning to this restaurant. It's a shame, as the flavor of the food is good.

Lily W.

Yelp
Wow, this place is awesome. We don't live close by but one time I went to surreal creamery I saw this place. I looked online and saw the amazing food pictures and the raving reviews. I decided to take my husband there for a date night. We were both seated right away, we brought our baby, and the staffs were so friendly. The owner was very helpful and recommended several dishes for us. We were so glad they did, cuz the food was phenomenal. And the presentation was on point too. I will definitely come back again, the only slight criticism I would say is when we came there's a lot of flies, which could be distracting sometimes.

Rina D.

Yelp
Food is really great, but the service has to be one of the worst I ever received. First, there is no AC inside, and my friends and I had to squeeze in the corner seat with the decoration constantly hitting my head. The main server kept forgetting what our table number was and was asking US what it was, showing us the iPad and putting it down on the table and going through the tables one by one, seeing which one was ours.. We ordered the Medium Moroccan Mezze, Falafel Platter, Mediterranean salad, and the Chicken Dinner Kabob Platter, and Moroccan Coffee. It took about 45 minutes since we got seated for the mezze, falafel platter, and salad to come out. Not gonna lie, we were impressed by the food and it was so good! I wanted to save some of the hummus and dips for the chicken kabob, so I was taking my time eating them until we realized we had finished everything and had to ask for more pita. We did get more pita pretty soon after, and this time it was warmed up and we were like wow! yes! Even yummier! And then the server asked if we were done and so we asked when the rest of our orders was coming out. He looked confused. Once again, he asked what our table number was and went through the iPad together to find that we indeed placed more orders.. At this time it had been about 1.5hours since we had sat down. It was also getting hotter because there is no AC here and the fan was not blowing in our direction... He tells the kitchen staff to get us our chicken kabob and the coffee. Only about 10 minutes later they come out, and so we think they had originally forgotten it.. At this rate we were full and a lot of dessert places seem to be closing soon so we decide to finish our food fast and ask for the check. The main server was constantly outside so we ask a different, younger guy for the bill. He says okay. But he continues to just run around and serve other tables, which we were confused about and were getting impatient with, since we already had to wait so long for our food and now we had to wait more to even leave the restaurant.. Once again, we ask for the bill to the same guy, and the main server runs in saying HE is the check man and that we should not be asking anybody else. Other customers look at us and laugh. We try to pay and for the third time, he forgets our table number. Good thing we memorized ours and helped him out right away. We got the bill, and the plastic bottled water that we received were charged in the bill which I thought was ridiculous.. They were not serving tap water and this was the only water that they were giving. So why then was it charged on the bill..? Anyways, the food was great so it is such a shame that the service is pretty bad that I would not come back unless I had all the time in the world to spare..

Yelp
Made a reservation here. Showed up at the right time to find a line that was wrapped around the block. Talked to everyone else in line to discover that they too had reservations. We tried asking the hostess what was up but she kept ignoring us. Then she told us to stand on the sidewalk until a table became available. Really? I checked online reviews to discover this restaurant regularly does this kind of thing--they pretend to take reservations when they don't. They're a tiny little restaurant and there had to be 30 people on the sidewalk, all of us with reservations. Luckily I was able to get us a seat at a restaurant elsewhere, but this was a very busy Friday night and these people really screwed with a lot of would-be customers' dinner plans. Very rude, very unprofessional, and very disrespectful of people's time.

Michelle D.

Yelp
This was by far the best Moroccan I've had! The Moroccan Mezza was enough to fill us up, but then our meals were magnificent! Goat Tajine, Goat Couscous and Lamb Tajine. Service was excellent, friendly and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend

James B.

Yelp
I had a great time here. The food was excellent and the cozy vibe was perfect. Fun service too. I enjoyed the relaxed pace.

Ellen B.

Yelp
A charming cozy Moroccan-Greek restaurant with terrific food (gotta get the mezza) great entrees and the best baclava EVER. Easy menu for vegetarians. Restaurant is small, so plan ahead. We found the service charming and friendly but can see that they might get overwhelmed on busy nights. We're definitely going back.

Meredith B.

Yelp
This restaurant is, quite frankly, the epitome of charming. The decor is clearly done by hand, the painted stenciling slightly askew, the front window a darling mishmash of brocade and little sparkling candle-lamps and the odd hookah. A large mirror on the far wall stands like some magic portal in the back of a slightly chintzy bazaar, lending an airiness to the room along with the natural light from the wide front window. We were greeted by the proprietor, who learned all of his cooking from his mother and now shares the kitchen with his wife. Determined to ensure every visitor is treated to a flawless experience, he brought bottles of water and then proceeded to tour us through the menu, giving sound advice indeed on where to begin (and to end) the meal. Chatty and teasing, he is wonderful to talk to, but also knows when to vanish again and let you enjoy your food. And you Will. Sweet heaven. The caliber of the food brought to our table is far higher than a glance at the tables on the patio or the slightly drippy geometric patterns on the wall prepares you for. The plating was frankly lovely, and the flavours were absolutely to die for, from the lemony, garlicky eggplant to the sizzling, olive-studded chicken tagine. I came looking specifically for the pastilla, and the cinnamon-and-sugar-dusted, chicken and almond-stuffed pastry did not disappoint. Ultimately, the three of us could not finish everything, so a few scraps of leftovers, and a significant amount of baklava got packaged to go home. I recommend it, honestly, let the experience last as long as you can. So- We live hours south of this precious little place with its long couches and little round bolster pillows, but we Will be back. I'm sure I can find some sort of excuse in the area to make my way back up again, and bring friends. A significant portion of the menu is vegetarian, even, including nearly all of the appetizers (just get the mezze platter), and several other options including a tagine and a falafel gyro. There are also fish options for those who are pescatarian. And for full inclusiveness, it's wheelchair accessible as well.

Yelp
Just wow!! The restaurant has a small main dining space adorned with beautiful Moroccan decor and pillows. The also have an upstairs which is outside and around the corner from the main door. We came here on a busy Saturday night (highly recommend reservations). Service was slow but that was expected on a busy night. We got to admire the belly dancer for about 5 mins before she left. Was bummed about that but we'll make sure we come earlier next time :) We started our evening with the Spanakopita and Mezze (medium size for 2 of us) which was presented on numerous dishes on a lazy susan topped with a tomato cut like a rose. It was OUTSTANDING!! You could taste the freshness in each and every item we ate from the Tabbouleh, hummus, beets, pita to the Zaalouk. The spinach pie was also amazing and I knew right off the bat that the crust was made fresh. Sooo delish! Just when we thought the appetizer platter couldn't of been topped - out came our main dish which was the grilled chicken and shrimp kabob platter. The kabobs were placed on top of a wood planked covered in chopped veggies that were crispy and fresh, a side of tzatziki, grilled carrots and zucchini and rice. Another WOW from us.. Soo good and HEALTHY! Of course we couldn't leave without a small pot of the mint tea and their famous Baklava. Throughout our evening the owner was so personable visiting us and telling us stories about the restaurant. He was such a pleasure! I can't wait to come back here again!!

Kayla H.

Yelp
Walked into this place and was unclear of where to go when we had a reservation for 9. They had no tables ready and made us stand in the hallway in the cold. When we told them we had a reservation they looked at us and said "just stand outside". Never was seated a table and just ended up leaving. Will not be coming back.

David C.

Yelp
We had a very delightful time at White House Tajine, the host was very polite and made the occasion special for my wife's birthday celebration, they didn't have some items on the menu but everything else was great.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
What a great experience coming here! The staff was attentive and friendly. Everything I ordered here was phenomenal in terms of flavor and price. The must try is the Moroccan mezze. This comes with hummus, babaganoush, another eggplant dip, veggies and pita. I came for an early lunch so I ordered the gyro sandwich and it was filling. The presentation of the food was A+. The owner even came by and said we had to try their homemade baklava on the house. He wasn't wrong, it's a must order item!

Erin M.

Yelp
We visited a few weeks back. The place was dirty (our silverware, and a few other things we saw seemed really dirty). I felt anxious for our entire visit because of the vibe, as well. The mezze we ordered was tasty but not very filling. In general, I wasn't excited about the lack of vegetarian options on the menu. Also, the menu was confusing and then the server just basically told us what he was going to bring anyway, and didn't want us to tell him what we wanted.

Orrin E.

Yelp
We returned here with family visiting from out of town and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. I tried to update the stars on my original review but couldn't. So that's the reason for the update. Everything was phenomenal- service, presentation and taste of the food. Even my finicky father was pleased. Definitely check out this restaurant- seating is limited so you may want to make reservations.

Jen T.

Yelp
Cute little spot with excellent food and a waiter with a strong personality haha. I felt a bit strong-armed into the spanakopita and the baklava, but it was worth it. Well, the spanakopita was maybe not worth $14, but it was certainly delicious, especially with the tzatziki. We ordered Moroccan mezze for 2, lamb shank tajine, chicken kababs, and 2 baklava, and it was the perfect amount of food for four of us. But on top of that, because it was our friend's birthday, they turned out the lights in the restaurant, sang to her, and gave us a free coffee ice cream (or mousse?) cake??? They really went above and beyond my expectations for that. So after all is said and done, that meal was totally worth the cost. The lamb literally fell off the bone. The chicken was juicy. The mezze were warm and flavorful, especially on the pita bread. Whatever that tomatoey one was was truly excellent. Like I said, the waiter had a strong personality, but in a fun way. Great spot!

Sara L.

Yelp
Really cute little spot with great food! I highly recommend getting the Moroccan mezze. The baba ganoush was probably my favorite, but all of it was delicious. I do wish there was a little more of each - the dishes are more shallow than they appear. The chicken kebab platter was also really good and the grilled veggies that come with it are excellent. The Moroccan Mint tea is also an absolute must!

Caitlin L.

Yelp
What an experience. My bf and I came here for brunch and tried an entirely unique meal that expanded my horizons. While the platter with the pancake and the dips were not my favorite by any means, it was a diverse experience for my palate. The shakshuka on the right was tasty with the Moroccan bread. I liked the portions even thought it's considered "small" by American standards. This restaurant is well worth the value considering the food platting, restaurant ambiance, cultural decor and authenticity, and most importantly, personable service. The service is unmatched, and I feel like the dishes were given particularly meticulous attention. I would recommend this restaurant to someone open-minded and ready for a beautiful cultural experience!

Michelle G.

Yelp
The food was amazing Service was stunning Atmosphere and Ambiance ... so cute!!! Thank you!

Hadeer K.

Yelp
Busy and delicious. Downstairs and upstairs were both full when I walked in to this small spot (I was picking up an order). Intimate setting with tables right next to each other - and the tajine was so so good.

Kylie S.

Yelp
The service and food were both unbelievable. I have been trying to come here for months, and finally made it happen. It was unbelievable and I will definitely be back!!

Sam B.

Yelp
First off, the food was amazing. The Chef was our waiter and recommended his favorite meals to fit what we were looking for. The Salmon and steak both had wonderful flavor, and the mezze platter was an absolute hit! The passion and heart put behind the food and the atmosphere here is clearly felt. I'm truly excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Ellen Y.

Yelp
Such a great place to come, a very homey feel. They were able to accommodate a group of 12 and made us feel very heard. The must try is the mezze. All of the dips are incredible and the pita bread was outstanding. You're going to need more pita bread, so ask for more. The main dishes were even better. We got the chicken kebabs, the lamb tajine, and chicken tajine. All were absolutely incredible. Save room for the dessert, the baklava is something I'll go back for. They treat you like your family. It's ran by a mom, who cooks, dad, three sons, and two daughters. Open very late hours. Definitely recommend you give them a try!

Ashlee G.

Yelp
The food is what makes this a 5 star review & the obvious care and love Mohammed & his family have for cooking Moroccan cuisine. My husband & I shared the medium mezze plate (the pickled carrots & beets with a little kick, baba ganoush, and hummus should be bottled up & sold! And the homemade pita was fantastic) and the chicken tajine. Next time I'm ordering a kabob platter, which looked fantastic. Downstairs is quieter than upstairs. Decor is fun. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry...a nice leisurely paced meal.

Suchi O.

Yelp
I would have given this place 5 star if not for the tiny portion sizes. Food was tasty, the place is cozy and not presumptuous at all. The service is very good. Four of us went in for an early dinner before a show. So before the crowd started to pour in, we got special attention! Another call-out is how well the food is presented. 'You eat with your eyes first' -- they address this very well. This place is BYOB. Between good friends and delicious food, we didn't realize how we breezed through 2 bottles of wine! Only request to the owners, please address the portion size. I don't mind paying for quality food, but there is no way two tablespoons can be the quantity of hummus on a mezze platter costing $24.

Jill S.

Yelp
What a gem! visiting from NYC we found this incredible restaurant. The food was delicious. The service incredible. Each dish was unique Don't miss the almond baklava. The owner is charming. Highly recommend

Emily D.

Yelp
Beyond my expectations. We had the mezze, chicken tajine and kofta tajine. The hummus was better than zahav. The service was 10/10 and atmosphere/music were great. Highly recommend.

Sue R.

Yelp
Great service with delicious & beautifully presented dishes! A cozy place with great food! Went with a few friends & had the Mezze & a tanjine! Absolutely delicious! Must have the Baklava! Can't wait to return & try more items on the menu!

Beth R.

Yelp
Excellent, tasty Moroccan food on Bryn Mawr ave. I recommend it! if you like Moroccan food and decor, give it a try!!

Angela H.

Yelp
We visited for lunch for a family Birthday. Only one of us in the group new a little about the cuisine but our host/server extraordinaire gave a wonderful synopsis of the menu, suggested what we should share to get a nice taste of all the unique flavors and textures of this authentic cuisine and gave us time to open our wine, catch up and then ordered leisurely. Food came out hot with a reminder of what everything was and portions were plenty. Happy Birthday was broadcasted through the intimate dining space and the birthday boy was red in the face! Mission accomplished and with happy bellies we left with plans to go back soon! Thank you for your hospitality and yummy food!

Yelp
Sleeper restaurant. Doesn't look like much from the outside and very little was done to spruce up the inside, but the food is spot on. Highly recommended.

Mike H.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Great fresh Moroccan Food. Love the kebabs, roasted veggies, hummus, salads, baklava and many other items. We went for Father's Day with a large group. Great service too.

Michelle C.

Yelp
The food here is delicious although it is a little more than what I wanted to spend. We came here on a Friday night we were greeted and seated within 5-10 minutes . This place is ran by a family. The father and son do the front of the house and the wife and another son cooks in the back. It's adorable and delish but there were some challenges: the bathroom didn't have any toilet paper or paper towels; When we dropped our fork, we didn't get another one until the end of our meal. My husband and I came here with our first grader twins . We ordered the goat, tagine the lamb kebabs, and the Mezze plate. The goat tajine was a medium sized piece of goat and some potatoes. It was really delicious. The lamp kebabs were cooked, medium rare to rare, and it came with a lot of vegetables and some dipping yoghurt sauces, and rice. For dessert we ordered three macaroons and the lovely owner gave us four macaroons. Overall, our bill was $108 not including tip or our BYO wine. I suppose it wasn't too bad for a family of four, but I felt like we could've had more food. Overall the food was delish and worth another trip.

Rochelle K.

Yelp
Everything about our experience at White House Tajine was suprelative. We went for dinner on a Saturday night for my daughter's birthday. The owner and his staff made us feel like family. The food was extraordinary, and beautifully presented. The chicken appetizer in pastry with cinnamon was like nothing I've ever had before or will again. We had both the goat and lamb tajines, lamb shank with couscous, and the filet mignon. We also got the appetizer with assorted dips and pita bread. They surprised us with a very festive rendition of happy with flashing lights and a wonderful dessert with candles. this restaurant is a must try, and truly an experience, not just a meal.

Bhamidipati M.

Yelp
One of the most authentic Moroccan places that I have been to in the US. Though the interiors do not look very polished, the food was really amazing. All items were freshly made and so the chef her own sweet time. The couscous was cooked to perfection and the taste were pretty on point. If you are used to eating very spicy food, I suggest you lower your spice levels for a week before you try this place. In order to appreciate the mild amazing flavour of the Morro on cuisine, you need to cleanse your palette first! Special mention to the in-house made sauces and falafel!

David G.

Yelp
This was my second time here in a month. First experience was nice, this one, not so much. Positive? It's a lovely little place with authentic Moroccan decor. The food is generally very good and presented beautifully. But I am a vegan and found out after biting into my FELAFEL sandwich that is was full of MEAT. A HUGE NO-NO. How do you get that wrong? Also the wait staff like hiding in the kitchen behind a curtain, more than serving customers, and their obsession with the tech-tablet billing lends a low-class air to a traditional dining place. I'll come back but the place needs some attention and the staff need to wake up. Could use a good cleaning too.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of dinning here tonight and I must say, it truly was an amazing culinary experience. From the moment you step inside the warm and inviting atmosphere that transports you to being in Morocco. To the talented and passionate Executive Chef Ayoub, his brother Zack, and his father. It's a family run business and they really know how to operate a successful restaurant. To start off, I couldn't resist ordering the medium Moroccan Mezze, which I should have ordered the larger portion as it was so delicious. It was a beautiful arrangement of vibrant and flavourful dishes, including hummus, baba ganoush, an array of salads but the Moroccan Zaalouk was on another level. Each bite was bursting with freshness and a perfect balance of spices. I also had the Greek salad, with fresh delicious red tomatoes and a barrel aged feta cheese paired perfectly with a high quality EVOO. For the main course I shared the chicken kabob platter. The chicken was tender, juicy, seasoned perfectly, and was accompanied by grilled vegetables, and salad. For dessert I indulged and had the most amazing baklava that was perfect as if I was eating it in Greece. Of course I had to try the chocolate soufflé too, that oozed out when I took my fork to take a bite of it. To accompany my meal we had the freshly steeped homemade Moroccan mint tea. It was the perfect complement to the bold flavours of the food. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends!

Yelp
- great food. Friendly people. - small space and no air conditioning. - Appetizer platter quantities do not justify the price.

Yelp
Moroccan food! I have been craving it! Chicken tajine, mezze & mint tea specifically! I made reservations here for a late lunch and we were the only table. Several socks game to get food to go and delivery drivers were picking up their orders. The food was really delicious and the staff was nice and doting. The food was delivered hot and looked and tasted divine. The tea was so flavorful and aromatic! And our waiter made it into such a charming presentation. They put on Moroccan music and it really enhanced the ambience. At night I noticed when I strolled by it gets pretty busy & The weather was fantastic so the outside seats were completely booked. The staff got together and sang to a birthday girl. I want to give higher points. I want to. If the floor was swept and mopped. Since we are ending a pandemic, I'm still in the 'let's be sanitary mode' Easy fix.

Yelp
Absolute gem! The food, the service, the ambience...everything was fantastic! Beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. The chef/owner was an absolute sweetheart, doing everything he could to make our night special. BYOB but be sure to get the mint tea! The lamb shank was well worth the wait...Everything was so flavorful. Can't wait to go back to try more on the menu!

Yelp
This little cozy gem is a perfect place to try good food. My first time trying Moroccan Food and the owners did not disappoint. Food is rich and flavorful. Every morsel was worth eating. The seating is limited but very comfortable. The owner was very attentive and made certain we were pleased with our food.

Yelp
I WISH I could put 0 STARS for this restaurant. I'm not the kind of person to write reviews but I cannot thoroughly enjoy my meal from this restaurant with its RIDICULOUS side hummus portions. I paid $45 for two orders of gyros and a side of hummus. BEWARE of TAKE OUT from WHITE HOUSE TAJINE. It's my first time here and I ordered takeout since I was in the area grocery shopping and I will NEVER come back again. OVERCHARGED and MICRO- PORTIONS. Not in this economy!

Yelp
It's a charming environment, extremely friendly & helpful waitstaff, surpassed only by the excellent food itself. We went for a birthday dinner and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Reservations with friends based on the strength of a Facebook group post. Did not disappoint! Arrived for our 5:30 reservation to an empty restaurant- which lasted all of 15 min. By 6 the place was full and a line outside. Owner greeted us and guided our choices. What I really liked was that he basically downsized our order - making sure we didn't over order. Ordered mezze for 4- nope, 3 was the right number to leave room. How many tajines? 2 enough - order more i if necessary. Needless to say he was spot on. Allowed room for some truly outstanding baklava for dessert, Every dish was outstanding - we reveled in each dish. Flavor, portions and presentation were top Notch. It was clear these dishes were prepared to order. The only reason this isn't a five star is that the servers were a bit inexperienced ( obviously family members), but great attitude and friendly. BYOB. $40pp all in. Given its popularity, I suspect they'll need a bigger space at some point- limited seating. We will return- next time I want to try the pizza which apparently is equally excellent. Can't go wrong here...

Yelp
I read an amazing review a few days ago. So I finally decided to go try for myself. I was having my car detailed a few doors down at the Bryn Mawr Car Wash, so to kill 20 minutes I decided to have lunch. Well... I ordered the falafel salad and my husband decided on the shawarma gyro. We both throughly enjoyed our meal, we both felt that this was the best we have ever had . The owner suggested we try his baklava, so without much convincing we said, sure. Again the best homemade baklava we have ever had. As we were leaving we glanced over at the Mezze platter that two women were enjoying and decided that we would be back soon to try that. A small cozy Moroccan spot that definitely should not be overlooked !

Yelp
Absolutely divenely flavored food! Both my wife and I are incredible fans of Moroccan cuisine. Our first visit was awesome, and we are scheduled to return. Really looking forward to it.

Yelp
Fantastic meal, vivid decor, and engaging host. Loved the mezze platter and the mint tea (drink and experience). Baklava was great too. We will certainly be back whenever we are in the area. Dinner reservations needed , but lunch walk in was fine.
