"Before it became a brewpub in Asheville, White Labs produced the yeast used by lots of breweries in town. So it makes sense that the folks behind that kind of discipline created a pizza as if perfected by science — the spot-on dough is just the right amounts of charred and crispy. The ingredients also seem crowd-tested, like tried-and-true medlies of mushrooms and ricotta or sausage with peppers and onions." - Eric Barton

Excellent food, regardless of the beer! We are not beer drinkers, but we loved the food and thought the brussels sprouts and beer, cheese macaroni n cheese were especially great. The pizzas are solid, and you probably can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Tyler was awesome and patient as our large group ordered.

Google
Got to try out this brewery recently and we’ll definitely be back. They have a great selection of beers on tap and are serving up some excellent food. We ordered the wood-fired mac and cheese, the smash burger with fries, and the kimchi fries — all of which were absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Next time, we’re planning to try some of their pizzas. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and they even have an upper-level space with lots of room.

Google
Very cool laboratory themed brewery with a wide selection of beers on tap. The food here was delicious. Great value for money for a giant, delicious burger. We also had the Brussels sprouts but ate them too quickly to take a photo. Everyone working was also nice.

Jamie Stahler

Google
Grew brewery and pizza spot. We stayed as part of a Harvest Host stop. The staff was great, they had great beers, and the pizza was well crafted. We got four of the Monday specials (full pie & beer for $16). Recommended!

Alex Davis

Google
The pizza here was so great! We also ordered the burger, but the pizza was better. They have lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of parking. We enjoyed our time here.

Google
This is a quintessential Asheville Brewery. Staff were great, beer was good, and food was on point. We got the brussel sprouts appetizer which was good but a little small for more than a couple. The sausage pizza was solid and delicious. We got a flight of beers and that was a good choice to try a variety of their house brews, highly recommended. Overall worth a stop by if you are in town!

Google
We took this picture after trying the Pizza ! It was amazing. We asked for well done and it was. The flavor and crispiness was incredible. We also tried their Thursday Special. Chicken Sandwich and a full pour . Both the chicken sandwich and the Franken- stout were great ! I highly recommended this place for the food and the beer ! Both are excellent !

Google
The best little PIZZA in Asheville. I absolutely love the sauce, the blend of cheese(s) is perfect, and the pepperoni is the tastiest I’ve had outside of an old now closed place on Woodward in Royal Oak, Michigan. My travels have taken me afar’ and I’ve had Chicago and New York pizzas, San Francisco, and LA pizza…. I’ve been to Italy, France, Germany, but have not had a pizza there! White Labs - I shall return!! JRR. 🕔❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️

Yelp
White Labs is located outside of downtown with its own parking lot. It's in a cool building that resembles an old factory or school. The interior has a fun, modern atmosphere. The employee at the bar that helped us was incredibly friendly. There is interior seating but we chose to sit on the outdoor patio, which has lots of shaded areas to sit. My children enjoyed playing the bags game. We enjoyed our beers and pizza, but the best was the hot chicken sandwich. If we ever drove through Asheville again, we would definitely visit again.

Yelp
I had been here for an event before, but returned for dinner last night. While we have plenty of pizza places in Asheville, this one certainly stands out. Their dough is beyond incredible, and probably some of the best in and around the city. The space is beautiful and well crafted. I love that they do little "experiments" in their kitchen lab and utilize the yeast from the beer to make the pizza. I saw awhile back they had pizza making classes, but I haven't seen those lately. Was very curious to try. Even though they are more in the traditional city setting, they have parking and outdoor space. A nice little front and back patio with lights. Their beer is great but a little happy for my case. I do appreciate they also have wine. I believe they have a bar actually if you're interested. Last night we got Caesar salads which were quite pricey when you added protein. And the only options were fried or grilled chicken.. Very fresh and homemade, but I would just stick to the pizza- it's their thing. Super nice service. Very clean facility. Excellent for parties of two or larger.

Yelp
5/5 Absolutely delicious! My husband and I split a pizza and the kimchi fries - both were absolutely delicious. (the pizza crust honestly is just SO SO GOOD! I feel like the pizza toppings/sauce itself is good but nothing incredible - but the crust, friends, the crust!). and the kimchi fries were full of the umami goodness. The only real negative about this place is the ordering setup. You order at the bar (not a big deal) but there's just one guy - so he's bouncing between making drinks and taking orders. When we came in at 6:30ish the line was super duper long and had quite the wait. I hope that they switch to a waiter system soon! But you have PATIENCE (don't arrive hangry) for the serving system - the food really is delicious.

Lara T.

Yelp
Nice brewery with upscale food located in Asheville. We sat at the bar, you can order food at the bar. I did not eat on this trip. They had a delicious IPA as well. Cool tasting room with tables inside and out. Open daily 11 am - 9 pm. And there's parking in back.

J E.

Yelp
Several of us came in for lunch... the wait was ridiculous, considering there was only one party (consisting of 3 people) in front of us, but they had a bunch of questions, even though the menu is rather simple. The person taking orders took his time with that group, while the line grew longer. It's nice that he took the time to answer their questions, but he probably should have called someone else over to take orders while he chatted with them. The wait was about 10 minutes for this. The place is nice looking and filled with seating, inside and out. The menu is simple, mainly pizzas and handhelds. The staff is friendly and our food came out promptly. My burger was pretty good as well. Aside from the ridiculous wait, the rest of the lunch went perfectly. I'd return.

Hans B.

Yelp
We needed to kill some time before checking in to our room and this was basically across the street. So I had flight of beers and enjoyed the coffee lager,! However we grabbed a bite to eat and were recommended the cheese and pepper pizza.... It was amazing!! Amazing crust, topped with arugula and cheese was underneath with a lemon taste. Sounds ba bit odd... But absolutely delicious!

Justin B.

Yelp
Average burger, a so-so cocktail (Blue Razz, I think?), and some tasty fries. We liked the space and the service more than the food at White Labs, and in a town with so many other great spots to eat, this is one that I would likely not revisit. We also got the brussels sprouts, and came away with the same middling impression of that dish. The very best thing about White Labs? The food was at our table about seven minutes after we ordered it. In a town where it seems like you have to wait in line almost everywhere to then wait for the food to get made, White Labs was great keeping my kids from eating each other from starvation!

Lisa M.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner here with one of our friends and the food was great. You order at the counter, get a table number and food is brought out to you. The only thing I didn't like was that our food came out VERY spaced out. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered a pizza and his burger came out so early that he finished it before I ever got my pizza. It's just not ideal when you're there to eat dinner together and you're all eating at different times even if you all ordered together. We ordered the double cheeseburger on gluten free and substituted vegan cheese. The burger had a great flavor and the bun held together well. The fries were really hard. I ordered the gluten free pepperoni pizza, add sausage with vegan cheese. The toppings were very flavorful. The crust was soft (better than the usual super thing, hard GF crusts). Would definitely recommend. Our friend ordered a regular pizza (the mushroom add sausage). It's a Neapolitan style and he enjoyed it. He also ordered a beer flight and a drink called "the boy who lived". He enjoyed all of his drinks. Would recommend! Great gluten free and dairy free options.

Yelp
While visiting Asheville for the day, I reached out to a former student and asked his opinion on a brewery with good beer and food for lunch. He suggested White Labs. We could not have been more pleased. Food and beer were delicious. Waitstaff was friendly and talked with us about the establishment and the history of the brewery. We loved sitting outside and enjoyed their wood fired pizza. Seating inside and out. Two outdoor areas. Games including cornhole are available. TVs inside. Great menu for beer, wine, spirits. Love the free parking! Can't wait to return.

Andrew Y.

Yelp
Food was good and tasty, beer flight was also good- the dark lager was the best. friendly staff and nice outdoor seating area.

Kai F.

Yelp
Went the other day and was disappointed with the food. Got the mushroom pizza made vegan. It just wasn't that great. The waitress was nice, but the guy at the cash register just seemed miserable and annoyed. Got a tip that it was a good place for vegans to go, but was honestly disappointed in the food. Nothing great, the vibe ok at best. Maybe it was an off day, but probably won't go back, at least for food.

Erin M.

Yelp
Yes yes the pizza is good and something I have sorely missed in a town full of mushy undercooked crust. But. Kimchi fries. I won't bother trying anything else on the menu ever again. Or maybe anywhere else for lunch ever again. The kimchi fries are like someone read Fat Salt Acid Heat and decided to do a PhD study on perfecting that exalted combination of flavors. Beertenders were friendly and made nice recommendations for our little quad tasting which helped us see how yeast affects the flavor of beer. A really cool spot with open, industrial concept but smart enough to include sound dampening in the design. All that said. Kimchi fries.

Blair S.

Yelp
Such a cool Brewery!! I'm not a huge beer drinker but the Hef was one of the best I've ever had!!!! The food was yummy too. The Parmesan bites were not my favorite, but the pizza and salad made up for that! I would definitely venture back here on another trip! If you're a brewer or beer drink this is a must check out place!

Kandus J.

Yelp
Gorgeous brewery with good food too! They've got a wide variety of beers & cocktails to choose from. They've got some tasty food as well! I got a pizza and it was $18. A little pricey but still good. The drinks are also a little pricey considering there's so many breweries with cheaper prices. The brewery is HUGE with indoor and outdoor seating. They've got merch as well but it's pretty weak. Definitely check them out if you love breweries, beer and/or pizza! Cheers!

Yelp
We did a little hike, and I was craving pizza after so we made our way over. The main seating area is pretty small and was full, so we headed up to the secondary seating area. It was odd and pretty disconnected from the feel of the restaurant downstairs. It was a conference room and because there were no napkins, condiments, or anything on the tables it felt like we were waiting for a business meeting to begin. There was an aquarium loop an the tvs, and I don't know why an opportunity to play a movie was passed on. I had higher hopes for the beer selection, but I was happy enough with the 28 barleywine. The pizza had me fully content. My husband got the sausage and I got a pepperoni. We had half of each and saved the other the half for delicious midnight snackage. All of the people working there were friendly and quick. I'd recommend a pop-through at least once.

Rishabh G.

Yelp
Ana I h location and lots of beer options to choose from. We came here for a few drinks and was perfect spot a few minutes away from downtown and on spot parking. Both indoors and outdoors have sitting space. We didn't try any food but the pizzas and other options looked very tempting. The staff was helpful and friendly! Will definitely come back again

Randy S.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of White Labs food , especially the chicken sandwich and house burger, both with fries. Sadly I'm not a big fan of pizza generally (sadly) but when I have her urge I also head to WL. When I'm by myself I like to sit at the bar near the pizza oven. When I'm with friends on busy nights it can be hand to hand combat over a table. That's my one issue since folks come in and sit on tables without an order number vs folks that came in first , order , PAY and get a number but can't get a table. That situation is less of an issue during summer when table are prevalent. But it's not summer.

Autumn H.

Yelp
Had the golden beets and chèvre which was absolutely delicious. We ordered 3 pizzas for 5 people and finished them all. We had the margarita pizza which was okay kind of blah. Then the cacio e pepe and mushroom pizzas were phenomenal. Other items caught our eye but we were happy with what we ordered and it filled us up. Our server was very kind and attentive.

Ava G.

Yelp
WOW THE FOOD! My dad says this is the best meal he has had in Asheville so far while visiting me. One very cool thing about this brewery compared to others is that they have a lab where they make their own strains of yeast that are then used to make their beer as well as pizza dough! Everything here was great, from the salad to the pizza, to the beer and the kimchi fries. They even have some great cocktails, I love when breweries have cocktails. My only complaint about this place is the method of ordering. There are no waiters and you place your order at a cashier. When I came in the line was so long it was out of the door. I feel that they either need to have 2 people taking orders at once, or switch to a system with waiters. Either way, I'll be back because the food is to die for! Also: the beer menu is constantly changing due to their different yeast strains! You can try something new every time you come in

Kathy P.

Yelp
Great food. Great Beer. Great Service. Easy parking. We started with an awesome flight of altbiers and blondes. Liked all 4 of them which is rare for me. Order at the bar and they deliver to your table. We got the caprese salad which was excellent. Tried to get the gnocchi but they were out of it. We ordered the hot chicken sandwich- fried chicken breast with pimento cheese and pickles. Skipped the hot mop sauce because I'm a spice baby. Solid sandwich. Fries we're homemade - just how i like them with a little skin on. Super friendly people working here. Laid back bar area and outdoor patio. Highly recommend. Will be back!!

Karley E.

Yelp
Why are flights (16oz) of beer the same price as 2 beers (32oz) ?!? The beer could've been colder but great variety of their own and guest taps. The chicken sandwich was fantastic, homeade ranch was 10/10, and the place has a great vibe for a brewery with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's stand up and order at the counter service.

Ray L.

Yelp
Great place for pizza. You order at the counter when you arrive, pick a seat and they bring the food to your table. Ordered the wings, Buffalo chicken pizza and a double cheese burger. Food came out super quick! The pizza came first and was great! Not too spicy and great flavor! The wings had great presentation but were not done all the way thru. There was pink at the bone on half of the wings. Unfortunate because the flavor was nice and the ranch was one of the best I've had. Had no issues sending it back. Server was really nice and understanding. The double cheeseburger was good, no complaints. The place itself is open and airy and fitting for larger parties.

Michelle B.

Yelp
I visited the restaurant twice this past week. Went solo on Friday night and ordered cheese pizza with mushrooms and the kale salad. Loved it so much I brought my other half back with me the following night. Seating here can be a bit tricky. I'm sure in the warmer months that's not a problem because there is plenty of outdoor seating. However, they do have an overflow room of sorts upstairs. As far as the service, you order at the counter and then your order is delivered to the table. You are given the option to keep the tab open when ordering. Although it would be nice to have the option to order additional drinks at the table. Maybe with portable square POS devices to be ordered by servers?? But after seated the food comes rather quickly and everyone is friendly. Definitely will go back.

Robin B.

Yelp
Stopped here on our way into town for a gig. Super friendly service with a knowledgeable beertender. The menu was IPA heavy but we shared a flight of 4 good beers. We ordered a pepperoni pizza that had a nice thin crust and they didn't skimp on the meat. On advice of another reviewer we tried the kimchi fries.. which were lovely crispy morsels topped with some sort of brisket, a sauce and a scattering of Kimchi. Excellent! We ate outside on the patio. The inside is industrial chic asks very clean. We would definitely return!

Sarah L.

Yelp
Great pizza! Great beer! Started with the Garlic Parmesan bites and they were delicious. Can easily share a pizza and there were four of us and had plenty of Garlic Bites.

Adam P.

Yelp
A "must check out" kind of place. White Labs is one of the world's largest yeast manufacturers, and they have up'd the game by brewing some great beer and cooking up some delicious food. Top it off with a great location that is super chill, and you have White Labs Brewing Co - Asheville Kitchen & Tap. I had wanted to visit for some time and found myself in the area recently. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a nice guy that gave us a quick rundown of what they were about and how it all worked. Then, he made some recommendations and got our order rolling. I had a couple of top-notch beers and a hot chicken sandwich. I was surprised at how good the hot chicken was, considering we weren't in Nashville anymore. They did it well. My wife had the mushroom pizza, and it was clear they knew what they were doing with that big pizza oven. It was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

Aaron Z.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped here based upon a recommendation passing through Ashville. We arrived near the beginning of lunch and it wasn't too crowded at the restaurant yet. They had indoor seating as well as 2 different places for outdoor seating. The outdoor seating up behind the entrance includes long tables, a fire pit, outdoor couches, and some games. My wife and I split a fight and 2 pizzas. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and more personal sized. We had a few slices left over so maybe for smaller appetites these can be split. For the pizzas itself we had both the sausage and cacio e pepe. Highly recommend both of these especially the cacio. Ingredients tasted fresh, pizza was well cooked, and the ingredients of pepper and lemon really stood out against the arugula. Highly recommend this place!

Thomas B.

Yelp
Superb wood fired, gourmet pizza. My wife and I were most impressed by the quality of fresh ingredients and the creativity of the menu overall. Wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The selection of house brewed and other local beers was most impressive. The restaurant was clean and had both indoor and abundant outdoors seating areas. We are spreading the word... and will be back soon.

Jon B.

Yelp
This is a microbrewery with excellent beer, and, at least on the first go, some of the best pizza in the state of North Carolina. I enjoyed a four beer flight and had the opportunity to try two Weiss Beers and two double IPAs. I enjoyed everything. My only regret is that I didn't double check that I got a picture of the Mushroom Pizza that I ordered before I inhaled half of it. Front patio. Indoor dining. Upper, rear, beer garden. Pet friendly. Quick service on the pizza. I met a nice family of four who were from Austin, Texas eating their second dinner at White Labs. This place will give Brixx Pizza and Mellow Mushroom, each, a run for their money.... I will be back

Rashad ..

Yelp
Matt was awesome! Good service and brew! 100% recommend this place was a good time and amazing fries

Caitie Z.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here as soon as it opened on a Saturday morning. They had two outdoor seating areas- one in the front of the restaurant off of the main street and a really nice covered area in the back with community tables, some chairs and coffee tables, and an area with cornhole set up. We headed to the back with the dogs (yes, pet friendly!) and our young son (room for him to roam)! We were the only ones seated in the back for the first half hour we were there which was really nice. Because this place was recommended to us for their pizzas, we ordered two to share - Cacio de peppe and a sausage pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. Our son also enjoyed both pizzas, especially the crust. My husband indulged in a beer sampler and enjoyed it. This was a great recommendation. Knowing there are so many places to try in Ashville, I have no doubt we would consider coming back here when we return to the area.

Christian C.

Yelp
Decent pizza and quick service. Came with 4 friends and we shared the Cacio e Pepe, margherita, mushroom, and sausage pizzas. Our favorite was definitely the Cacio e Pepe - such great flavors and a lemony dressing on top? Unique and I liked it!

Chelsea A.

Yelp
Came in 20 mins before close for a growler and was super impressed by the service. A lady sweeping the floor grabbed everything I needed and the bartender was very patient with the slow-flowing tap. I could tell they were ready to close but still polite and happy to help me. I definitely recommend.

Amy F.

Yelp
Great pizza! Good place to relax with a beer and yummy eats! We went twice and were only in town for four days!

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Pretty cool place. We had a large party and it was very accommodating. There was plenty of options for kids and adults alike. Several of us got chicken wings and pizzas. A few of us got salads. The salad dressing was delicious but I didn't think there was enough cheese on it. I asked for extra and they provided. The chicken wings were interesting. They were not separated and so it made for a very messy situation. My suggestion would be to separate the wings. Despite them being good it was difficult to eat. Food was served quickly and the beer was tasty. Some better than others! Service was average. Nothing special.

Gates C.

Yelp
Every time we've come here it's been worse and worse. I just don't understand the price point. We came on a Wednesday night this time and stood in a line to order for 15 minutes. The line is consistently long and in the way of traffic through the restaurant. We sat down at a picnic table - they used to have cute furniture outside - and waited with a number for our food to be brought out to us. Our fries were crunchy and didn't have any seasoning on them - not even salt. My husband loves their chicken sandwich and will swear by it, but my vegan patty melt was greasy and bland. I wound up putting ketchup on everything. It would be a mediocre experience for me, but my sandwich was $19 and my Chardonnay was $12. Like I said before, I will just never understand paying that much for diner food that you have to wait in line for. How you gonna mess up French fries?

Ariel F.

Yelp
What a great place! I searched online for Asheville Monday lunch specials and found this brewery I had never tried. Monday Special! $14 for 12 oz. of draft beer plus your choice of their loaded double cheeseburger with crispy fries, a margarita pizza, or a pepperoni pizza. We got the burger. AND WHAT A BURGER!! It's a double cheese burger with two thick patties, cheddar cheese, pickled jalapeño, fried onion, Lab sauce and romaine lettuce on a toasted bun. All this comes with a heaping load of fries. They also boast a full bar, wine, kombucha, and soda. The patio is dog friendly. I am excited to return and let everyone know about this place and the special! Vegan options available!

Blanca I.

Yelp
RAMP PIZZA ‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼ highly recommend WLP 565 pink boots Saison

Kristen J.

Yelp
Fun place with great food and beers. Kids had fun too with the Yeastman coloring menu. We ordered pizzas that were great. Cool atmosphere. You order food and drinks at bar so it's not sit-down restaurant style where a server comes to table. They had a really nice outdoor patio upstairs but we sat inside.

Justin N.

Yelp
White Labs was really good and had some nice televisions playing March Madness games. The beer selection was descent but nothing was awfully special. The food was certainly great and we were happy with the vegan pizza options they had. For those that don't drink alcohol, the mocktail is also a delicious option!

Joey T.

Yelp
Wow, is my only word. I'm a tourist and decided to stop at a local pizza restaurant instead of a chain restaurant. I am a disabled veteran with a handicap pass that was laying on my dashboard. I also have the scars to prove it & the FIRST THING said to me from a short black bearded balding dude was we have older people that need to park there so please move your Corvette. I corrected the guy but damn, ask don't tell me; ask me. Didn't know the parking police worked here. So we took our business to the chain restaurant.

Maddie R.

Yelp
We stopped by while visiting from out of town. Great spot for quick pizza and wine. We also ordered the garlic knots and they were amazing!!

Mari H.

Yelp
This one is a little different for me to review. The space when you pull up looks beautiful, there is a nice outside patio area in the front with lights for those evenings that allow you to be outside. Inside is very clean and spaced out well with a bar that probably sits 10 people. There is an upstairs where you'll find the bathrooms, but I didn't explore around enough to see if there was actually seating up there or not. We sat at the bars which have unique seats and the beertenders were quick to say hi and bring us some water while we reviewed the menu and picked out which items we would want for a flight. After looking at everything, there wasn't a huge number of options that were actually their beer, they had a lot of guest taps. They didn't offer any options of beers that are styles that I like (ciders, sours, gose) so I actually ordered a cider from a guest tap and let Ben have the flight to himself. He really went back and forth on options to put on the flight too because nothing was really jumping out at him. We always try to drink the beers from the brewery we are at because that is the whole point but when visiting a different city, that makes it even harder when the guest taps are also from places we haven't been to or may not go to but sound better than the beer offered at the brewery you're at. The beer came quickly, there was nothing wrong with customer service at all but it just was mainly the beer was "okay" but nothing that would bring us back for a round two. What I will say, and this is why this review is a little different, we didn't order any food because weren't hungry just yet, but we could smell the food and then looking at others, everything looked delicious. So honestly, if we were to go back to White Labs, it would be to eat and only eat.

Stacey P.

Yelp
Dear White Labs, I am grateful you are not near me or have any locations near my present home because I fear if you did I would quickly become morbidly obese as I seem to have no control eating your divinely delicious food. I opted for the hot chicken sandwich minus the cheese. I ordered the garlic parmesan bites as a side. When I saw all the bites I thought surely I wouldn't be able to eat them all and the sandwich. I was right - I couldn't because my friend also opted for a margarita pizza and I ended up having two slices of that. Because your food is stupidly good. If I could have devoured everything I would have. Your pizza crust and those bites are among the best I ever had. There's no words to describe it except it was pizza heaven! Least you could have done was make a poor chicken sandwich so I didn't feel compelled to devour that, but nooo it had to be delicious too - spicy, tender, savory - and the pickles! So good! And for a brewery you make a mean cocktail - that blueberry mule was magnificent! Your staff is wonderful too! The young lady who took our order also helped me clean up the spilled water I caused and got me another glass! She didn't have to do that but she did anyway. She was so nice! Luckily it was outside on a hot day so it dried quickly and luckily didn't get anything important wet. I left here overly full and utterly content!

Bob V.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and loved what I ate. Had the pear salad with walnuts, goat cheese spread and burnt onion vinaigrette, as well as the mushroom pizza with herbed ricotta, arugula and lemon. Everything here tastes modern, fresh, and delicious. The pizza crust was so good, I bought a couple to use at home. Next time I want to try their house vegan Italian sausage.

Terri E.

Yelp
Good brews, great food, great service, all partnered up with lovely weather made this a perfect end to our day. The deets: we had a beer flight, then picked two drafts after that. No need to go into beer particulars since I'm sure the brew menu changes. But the standouts for us were the brown ale and the barleywine. Now for food - based on reviews we got the kimchi fries with brisket (HOLY HELL they are good!) and the cacio e pepe pizza (also excellent!) Let's talk about kimchi fries. First, I'm usually not a fan of this concept. I've had them a few times in other places and I usually get tired of them pretty quickly. But the mound of amazement at White Labs left me sad that I couldn't stuff any more into my belly. For me these define what kimchi fries aim to be everywhere else but fail to achieve. The fries are crisp yet tender, the kimchi is absolutely perfect and not overpowering, the sauce is an accompaniment and doesn't drown the dish, and the brisket is smoky and salty and tender. A guy in line saw our plate and asked if that was the kimchi fries, and when we said yes he said "oh now I'm excited!" Yes sir, you should be. The cacio e pepe pizza is so good, and I'm not a white sauce pizza person. I had to talk myself into this, and I wasn't disappointed. My husband - also not a white sauce pizza person - dug in right along with me, with gusto. The lemon flavor is pronounced enough to balance the arugula and garlic, but not enough to make the pizza bitter. And the crust.... If you are reading this you've probably seen the other reviews that rave about the crust. It's no lie. I so often leave the extra crust on my plate elsewhere, but not here. Every. Bite. Is. Beautiful.

Yelp
I didn't have any alcohol. I only walked inside to do a to-go order pick up, so the ambiance was a bit lost on me (but nice! Great color scheme, great noise level). What I do know, is that the pizza is phenomenal. We ordered 3 pies to go, a cheese, a pepperoni, and the caccio peppe. I arrived before they were ready, and the wonderful staff offered me water while I waited. They were ready very quickly. The crust was outstanding. The yeast they use really gives it a sourdough flavor. The toppings were generous and delicious. The clear stand out was the caccio peppe. Perfect blend of flavor. The arugula was the perfect addition. We will, most definitely, be back. Maybe next time I'll take pictures.

Yelp
The food was sooo delicious! My daughter and I ordered food to split and it was filling. We had a cheese pizza and added basil and vegetarian sausage. I was hesitant to try the sausage and was surprised at how tasty it was! The cucumber salad was huge and delicious! We dined outside which was relaxing and fun to see the dogs hanging out too!

Yelp
This is one chic brewery. Whoever designed this place needs a pat on the back. It's so pretty and has a wonderful outdoor space. Great vibes and plants all around. Oh and the beer is great. Fun Asheville selection, fun and funky staff. I have to say my favorite part of this place is the pizza! They have the 900 degrees truck out front and nothing pairs better with beer than pizza! There's a huge lot for parking so that's no problem. Grab all your friends and head here for pizza and a beer. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Stopped in for a nosh and some libations after a day of hiking through the Biltmore gardens and grounds. Although the science applied to yeast cultures and brews is impressive, what captured my attention and admiration most was this: White Labs is a serious brewpub where the food isn't just an afterthought or a sideline. The grub is every bit as important as the beer, and it receives the same loving care and attention in its preparation. For a special treat, seat yourself st the far right end of the bar, next to the stack of to-go pizza boxes. From here not only do you have a commanding view of the bar action, but you are also in close proximity to the 600F wood-fired pizza oven and the delightful scent of wood smoke it provides. Along with our beer flights we enjoyed a pregame Panzanella salad (duck fat vinaigrette! ) followed by a sausage pizza with mushrooms. Both super delicious! As a finale, order the Campfire Ol' Fashioned - served in a 250ml sugar-rimmed beaker and topped with a couple of freshly toasted (flaming) marshmallows!
