Ordered meat from WOP. They did fine. I recommend not shipping out on Thursdays. Stop shipments on Wednesday so that if it doesn’t get delivered on time there is extra day. Meats been good.

The meat is incredible. They have some of the best grass fed beef and Pastured Pork you can find. I am very impressed with everything I bought from them. From steak cuts to ground meat to bacon and sausages. All incredible and a great way to supply yourself if you are on a ketogenic or carnivore diet. Bone broth is incredible too! I drink it almost every day, especially the Ramen broth that has suet fat added to it. Truly incredible products and the best quality. All arrives frozen packed with dry ice. Much better than any of that grocery store meat that's been sitting on shelves for whoever knows how long. I hardly ever visit the grocery store now. If you want the best highest quality meat, White Oak Pastures is where you should order from.

My visit to White Oak Pastures was truly special and eye-opening. The staff's hospitality made me feel immediately welcome and valued as a guest, serving thoughtfully during our incredible meal times. I loved experiencing first-hand nature access and waking up to birds singing as my natural alarm clock—a simple joy that reminded me of our connection to the natural world. We stayed in the Chinquapin Oak cabin with lambs in our front yard during the spring. The intentionality behind everything at White Oak Pastures is evident—from how staff members pitch in together to the thoughtful way they encourage visitors to observe and tune into nature. This place taught me the importance of slowing down and appreciating the harmonious relationship between sustainable farming practices and the environment. What a cool place in the middle of nowhere South Georgia! We just spotted signs on the way to the beach. We are glad we stopped! They are very dog friendly. Very cool country store with some great meat and butter and such. We had lunch there food was good. Very nice folks there. We will definitely stop by the next time we are down that way!

First order of some New York Strips online. 10 steaks for $216. They arrived. Sadly cheap off-cuts and look more like thick pieces of bacon! Asked the question "why" to White Oak Pastures and was told that I didn't know what I was looking at... that's what a NY strip looks like. And I used to be a bed farmer! Beware... premium prices, cheap offcuts - arrogant, dismissive and poor customer service.

Wow! So glad we stopped here! From the time we walked in the door we felt welcomed and happy! We had an amazingly yummy lunch then went out to enjoy the baby cows and other animals before shopping the so cool gift shop! It was like stepping back in time. We will definitely be back!

We were in the area and stopped in for lunch. The salad I had was so fresh and crisp and the burger was also fantastic. As soon as we sat in the table there were two sweet pups hanging out that live in the farm. It was awesome to see Redmond Salt on all their tables. They have a a daily special but we were late for that.

I've been ordering from White Oak for years and just recently put in a rather expensive order. I don't mind the expensive as their meats have always, in my opinion, been worth it. It's important to note that I both wet age my steaks and then cook them by sous vide which has always given me the most tender results even for a non-prime cut of meat. Not this time. Absolutely horrible. Tough like shoe leather! I'll never spend money again with them.

I've given this place multiple chances to impress. Last night I ordered a hamburger and it was plain awful. No taste or seasoning hard as a brick. Hamburger and Fries with no drink - $20. It was my last meal from here.

I started purchasing from White Oaks this year. Prices seemed reasonable and shipping was ok. Then, shipping rates went up. I started to notice some of the pork I was receiving was majority FAT. This last order I emailed White Oaks stating that again my pork chops were like 70% fat and that I could provide pictures this was Oct 23rd. Miranda replies back, yes please send pics. I do so right away. No response. I follow up again Oct 24th, Oct 29th. I get another response from a Mary Jo stating there conducting an "internal investigation" on this and would get back to me by end of day. NOTHING. If my pictures don't justify and you can't make things right, then you just lost customer. The WORST Customer service ever. ALL calls go to voicemail. SMH

White Oak Pastures has provided the absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my LIFE. Avoid AT. ALL. COSTS. I've been harassed by several members of their team (Jacey Bagwell, Jenni Harris) I placed a large shipment, where I received a notification stating "items in this package" with everything I ordered listed, but only the perishables were delivered. I reached out, and Jacey informed me the package was separated, which was not communicated to me before, therefore I made plans and am out of town before I can collect the separated package before it arrives. Their email clearly states "items in this shipment" and "delivered" with every item in it, yet it was only partial. They refuse to fix this error on their end, and refuse ANY compensation.

I went to review the shipping charges on-line and when I hit the review button, the website automatically placed the order charging me outrageous shipping fees. I attempted to cancel the order via phone and email but no response and was charged for it. Be careful!

This place is the real deal. I ate beef for the first time in 14 years. My children who had never tasted beef in their lives had steak. It was great (tenderloin). I grew up eating steak and roast beef and personally found this "tough" grass fed beef to be exactly what I wanted and nostalgic of my childhood in the 80's. I know too much about the food supply and factory farms to eat beef normally but what they sell here is safe and good to eat. My 3 children were enthralled with the entire town and the animals and the fact I said they could order anything on the menu. We also paid for the horse tour, farm tour and bought many items from the store. We stayed in their red oak house walking distance to the general store which was fun for the kids.

There was a group of us, with motorhomes, stopping for lunch. We had one of the best burgers i have ever had, since the last time we visited here. cooked just right! Sweet potato fries/regular fries are outstanding. Service is always with a smile!! these ladies go above and beyond with good service!! can't wait till I next visit!!

Beautiful. Country store has so many things including nice selection of candles, wines, cheeses and meats. Food at restaurant was wonderful. All staff so polite and helpful. Great kids play area even with pony rides. Took home a couple of steaks for our grill and they were fantastic.

One of the most amazing places I ever visited. I recently spent four days on the farm and had most my meals here. While excellently cooked, most of the food served in the cafe was raised and processed right on the farm where the animals hadn't traveled more than a couple miles their whole lives. Being rather remote, with the nearest Walmart 50mi away, it was a luxury to have such amazing quality in what could be considered "the middle of nowhere." In the General store, you can shop for goods made across the street from ingredients acquired on farm and also for other Georgia handmade products. They have their meats for sale if you wanted to take home high quality grass fed and finished steaks or pasture raised pork sausage for a family member that want lucky enough to join you or to take down to cook on the beach as was the destination of many of the passing through customers. You can even take a tour and see where and how the animals you're eating are raised. A true farm-to-fork experience! If you get a chance to stay the night, they have cabins and full guest houses for nightly rental to enjoy where you can walk around and explore the uniqueness of a regenerative style ranch. All the people you meet will surely be as delightful and welcoming as the folks I interacted with. It's like stepping into a different world, lost in time!

Such a quaint little town that consists of friendly people and animals. We stayed the night here at their lodge and it was comfortable. We were surrounded by trees and forest. We met Mr. Will and one of his daughters who was our tour guide. She showed us around the area and is so informative. We went to see how they use the leather to make purses, backpacks, and items. They even make soaps and candles out of tallow! All natural and healthy. In the General Store, you can get burgers and fries. Shop for eggs, meats, chicken feet, liver, heart, dairy. It's a really tight knitted community. I would come back again.

I made a purchase from white oak pastures it took so long to get notice that a label had been printed when I called I was told a snow storm that came three days after making my order held it up and they would get my order out early the next week so Thursday of the next I called back and ask about my order and was told they heard how I spoke to people the week before and I could expect it when I get it so I guess asking about what you paid is not what they can deal with also when it finally arrived cuts are extremely inconsistent and the steaks I received had a very old taste so in all honesty I received very expensive dog food but my dogs enjoyed it I could not recommend this place no quality no customer service

Purchased 2 sirloins at over $27/pound. Did our typical slow thaw, bring to room temp, Weber grill with charcoal to rare/medium rare. This was the worst piece of meat I have ever prepared in my life. It was tough, chewy and zero flavor. Wow, what a huge disappointment. When I queried the store via email, I was told I should have wet aged it (ie 21 days in refrigerator). At that price point, it should have already been aged. There was no warning on the freezer or by the staff before as to special instructions. Only glad I did not buy a freezer full and only got stung for $60. Buyer beware. Will be spreading the word.

Ambiance is worth the drive. Food overall is great ingredients but not as scrumptious as you'd hope. This place makes up for it in its uniqueness and quality for the area. Sweet little country store with cute animals and outdoor seating.

Not worth the wait. My husband and I ordered burgers & were told it would be 30-40 minutes. An hour and 10 minutes later, our food arrived. The burgers were ok, fries were limp & the bun was cold. They are just not equipped to handle crowds.

Absolutely Terrible! We have been to Spain and Portugal and had Iberico pork -which is wonderful! This is not. No flavor- Iberico pork comes from Iberico pigs- raised on acorns- these are not. No refund.

Worst mail order steaks I've ever had. Tough. Lacking in flavor. Customer service made zero apologies. Zero F's given. They said it was my fault because I didn't age the meat for 21 days. Same problem across the ribeyes and NY strip steaks. Fillets we're only possible. We even tried marinating it for at least 24 hours, but that made no difference. How they can stay in business with this poor quality of meat and lack of customer service is beyond me. Anytime I've had issues with any other mail order company, they have always stood behind their product 100%.

This is a high end butcher shop with lots of other products to buy. They have lots of alcohol to choose from but they don't sell it on Sundays. They have a very nice outdoor seating area as well. It's pricey but with excellent service.

I rely on this wonderful farm for grass-fed ground beef, available here in Atlanta at Publix or Kroger. Though I used to drive past on US 27 in SW GA, I learned of them through their representation on the campus of Emory University and have sought out their beef ever since. More important, the White Oak Pastures people and farm are representing, networking, and teaching more sustainable practices. Check them out, online, and in your store.

Hot Dawg we got a winner winner beef and patty Salad dinner. Take a chance and let your mouth dance! This place hit the spot like a wrecking ball on my tongue and uvula. Best of all it's fresh and not some chain atmosphere. Good lord Thank you for leading me here and blessing this food. Me and the wife had the burger salads. But I was stealing my kids fries they are crazy good. I did the Farmer salad with homemade blue cheese and the wife did Deep South hers she elected no egg. Get the egg you live only once. The desserts are lacking but I was very pleased all the way around. Thinking about breakfast at 4:45pm. I bet they throw down.

One of the best "general stores" we have visited. This place featured farm raised products and Georgia produced products - everything from the standard candles and leather products to their own raised meat products. The staff was very friendly. You can order a meal and then eat it out back in the cutest little yard right amongst the ducks! I saw a sign that said Lodging too but I was already on the way out of their drive so I didn't get a chance to ask about it. So cute and so worth stopping in!

Although we have never been to their farm, we discovered them as we were looking for option during the pandemic. We have been ordering their pork, especially their ibérico selection, which is not available anywhere else in the USA (at least that we are aware of). This is some amazing ham, pork, bacon, Pancheta. They also have some awesome soaps. They have a regenerative agriculture approach to their farming. This means they respect both the animal and the land in such a way that you can taste in the meat and that will last for generations to come. Please keep up the great work. I know folks may be concerned about the price, but in the end we believe it is worth it.

We stopped by White Oak Pastures on the way to Panama. We've ordered some items online like beef liver and supplements. Nicely packaged and great quality. The brochures included tells their mission and I love what WOP stands for! We love companies that provides eco friendly and sustainable products. WOP is a beautiful place to visit! The inside of the store is adorable and rustic. Very well organized too! The employee/cashier was young and very sweet and knowledgeable about their products. There were clothing, leather hand bags, skin products, road snacks, and frozen meat for purchase. We ordered duck jerky, beef links, and honey sticks. My family loved the links but the jerky was salty they said. We'd love to visit again and stay the night. Do the tour and learn more about WOP. They have workshops and events as well. If you plan to visit this would be a nice place to take some cute photos!

This review is hard for me to write. I have wanted to visit this farm for about 4 years now since learning of its existence. So I booked the 2 bedroom, Pond House expecting my parents to come but they had to cancel last minute. Unfortunately, we missed the farm tour by an hour (they have a tour at 11 am on Saturday) and were unable to buy the horse rides (starting at 1.5 hrs and longer packages) not sure why, but we were told we could rent a golf cart so that would work out for us. Employee, Daniel, in the General Store was most helpful and gracious. He informed us we could enjoy some lunch in the dining room before he escorted us to our cabin and we did so. I ordered 2 hot dogs w/ sweet potato fries. Dogs were tasty but casing was so tough it made them chewy and fries soaked in oil. My husband had a burger on a salad & the pressed too-well cooked burger was rather tough. We were escorted to the Pond House. On the front porch there was lots of fishing tackle sitting on the high-top table and a plastic container with worms in them. A pile of life preserver jackets sat on the ground. There was no Wi-Fi but there was tv (which we found out doesn't get good reception!). We were horrified by the general appearance of the house. The stove top was smeared and cloudy; microwave oven was dirty, there was about 1/2 c. worth of dead mosquitoes in the standing lamp. The dust on the wooden blinds in every room, ceiling rafters/air register vents in the queen bedroom was really bad. I'm positive the windows had not been cleaned in months! Mosquitoes caked the screens on the windows. Honestly, how can one enjoy the view through the windows that are so dirty? Under the boathouse was two rocking chairs and swings were covered in cobwebs and dead bug specks. No cushions for the chairs. The row boat had 2 gallons of mucky water in it as well as the kayaks. Cigarette butts in the grill and trash in the fire pit. We put our bags in the car and go to see if they happened to have another unit available. We kindly engaged Daniel and another staffer and were told no other units available. I NICELY shared that we felt the accommodations were really not very clean and showed pictures I took. They offered to send a cleaning person back out to do another cleaning. We were fine with that solution and she offered us the use of a golf cart while we waited. We gratefully accepted. The real trouble started that night. After our golf cart ride around the town, I spent some time shopping in the store. I bought a leather computer case; long sleeve t-shirt, candle and a few food items. We next went into the dining room and sat down for dinner. In walks Will Harris w/ a bottle of wine in his hand and sees us, sits down at the next table over and says "You must be the Pond House people." I responded, "Yes." He then says "I heard you're not happy with your accommodations. You do realize this is a farm and not Disney World." Taken aback, I said "Yes, we know where we are and we don't expect a Disney experience. My husband responded "For $300.00 a night, we just expected a nicer situation." To which Will said "You can't get a room in the next town for under $300 a night." (which was total BS as we found out later looking online in the town of Blakley- $75 at the Days Inn). Then Will told us he's not used to people being disrespectful to the staff. What??? Neither my husband nor myself were ever rude, demanding or condemning of staff and in fact we were very agreeable to their offer to make things right. Apparently to Will, making any criticism is akin to being disrespectful. Will then said "You know I think I need to get out of the hospitality business. I don't make any money on that side of the business as the selling of products is where the money is at." They aren't making money on $200 and $300 a night accommodations, the food sales/alcohol sales that come along w/ staying there? Give me a break! We just sat at our table and ordered our food and drinks and every few minutes Will would engage us in conversation. I tried to smooth over Will's seething annoyance with us by mentioning my bucket list wish to visit his farm, the fact that we supported many small regenerative farmers near us in OR but there was always a jab at us every so often. Will summoned the chef over (he was interning from UC Berkeley) and introduced him to us and said to the young man, "Hopefully this couple won't have any issues with your cooking like they had with the accommodations." What kind of crap statement is that? As for our dinner it was ok. My tenderloin was good, my husband's Ribeye was tough. Before we left, Will got up and handed me a business card and said "Here is my card with my personal phone number on it. If you have any more problems, don't call the store and speak to the staff, call me." Yeah, I am going to call the owner who has spent the last 45 minutes berating us and treating us like ingrates!

My husband orders a variety of meat from this family farm and it is delicious. Quick shipping to Atlanta. They were also very helpful when I messed up an address for a delivery. The very next day they had it corrected for me. It is the way a farm should be!

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Chattanooga Tennessee, nice place. The staff was friendly and our sausage dogs were delicious.

If they WOP would only be able to provide their meats in VA! So the story is simple really, we moved to Marietta some years ago now and I went in to Harry's Whole Foods and they smartly had the normal beef providers, IPB, etc. next to white oak but they had the two separated by a clear piece of plexiglass. The two cuts that were next to each other in the case were ribeyes. One was fatty and typical but the other had a thin line of fat under the cap and almost no fat anywhere else. The cut is normally a little out of my price range, but I bought the WOP cut for my wife and I to try. I grilled it, no salt, no seasoning, just the beef. All I can say is I have never tasted beef like that, and while I don't consider myself an authority, I did cut meat for Publix for a few years and have seen all the mainstream meat providers and eaten them all as well. Fatty fatty fatty....this is due to grain. You can say/think what you want, but cows eat grass. My wife and I tasted and discussed and it was hard to put an adjective to, but perhaps "clean" is the right one. Either way, looks like we can score hamburger now and then at Publix here in Colonial Heights at least. If you have a chance to try the brand, do it. Cheers

We just LOVE this place. We have passed by the signs for years while traveling from Florida to north Georgia over the years and stopped in after maybe 2 years and we hated ourselves for not stopping in sooner. Great food and service and the store is awesome! We never leave without buying a bunch of random goodies.

Beautiful setting. The southern Georgia countryside makes the perfect backdrop to the artisanal products, delicious food, and comfortable service. Horse back riding for kids, great home goods, meats, and sweets.

I really wanted to love this place! We've noticed a huge farm and advertisement for a general store from the road every time we drive from Atlanta towards the Gulf. On our way home we decided to finally stop by and discovered there was a restaurant next door. FYI the general store actually moved locations, 2 miles down from the original building. So we decided to hang out and eat. 530pm was when they switched over from lunch to dinner. We were given the option to wait for dinner. Instead of burgers which is mostly what the lunch menu consists of, we wanted to get steaks as it seemed to be a real farm to table restaurant and wait for dinner. About 10 mins. The restaurant is interesting as its more like a covered pavilion rather than a regular building. They started the smoker and it was rough to sit there while the smoke was coming into the table area rather than pushed outside. They really need to figure that out. We ended up ordering the giant ribeye. Wanted a salad as well but they ran out of lettuce. They seemed more concerned about setting up a burger buffet for a party of 50 coming in more than making sure we were taken care of. We didn't really make a stink as it seemed to be a family owned type of place. However service improved towards the end. The meal itself was disappointing or maybe our expectations were too big. We were really wanting a big juicy steak but ended up with a steak that was really tough and chewy. They did do a good job cooking it medium so I know it wasn't due to over cooking. The potatoes we got as a side were REALLY undercooked. The pasta salad was pretty good. We really regretted not getting burgers instead as we saw other patrons eating them and they looked awesome. I still want to visit the general store and would stop by again for lunch to try the burgers. The place is in a good location if you are on a long roadtrip and looking to eat. Will not be ordering steaks again however. Until next time!

Absolutely the worst meat I have ever (tried) to eat. It's like a rock, can't cut or chew it. I wasted 150.00 on this crap farm.

I will never order from this group again. My first order sat on the dock for over a week because of the winter storms. I wanted to wait until the storms cleared and reorders I requested a refund so I could order at a later date. They ignored my request and first let me know my ribs would be there that day. They told me this without even checking the tracking to see that they had not even left their area in over a week. When I pointed this out they went and shipped another one into the same storm ignoring my request. This was my first and last order. I hope the $30 they got from me was worth losing a customer for life. They seem like a big farm who just does what they want. Horrible experience and I will never buy another thing from them and I will tell anyone who listens.

I've placed several orders through them and MOST of their products are really good. Naturally, not everything is a hit. I left review for the products I loved as well as the ones I didn't like so much on their page, only to find out that they deleted any review that was less than 4 stars. Most places reach out and try and make it right, but not WOP. That's pretty shady and a huge disappointment. I reached out to see what was up, and never received a response. I will update this review if and when I do. Beware, certain products aren't what they're cracked up to be; an opportunity to make a great company even better, wasted.

I live in Dania Beach Florida and I placed my first order last week I must say awesome service and the meat products are 5 stars.....I decided to place another order fortwo hundred dollars today this will be my number one company for pasture raised and grass fed grass finish meats for all future services.I will recommend to all my friends my family is from fort Gaines and Shorteville Alabama and I stumble upon White Pastures Farm from there thanks Will and family for your excellent service. Five stars is just not enough. My girlfriend introduced me to White Oak last year and from that day forward I've ordered a large variety of ground beefs, pork, steaks and just this season a Turkey. I only purchased one other 80/20 product ground beef product, also grass fed, and I couldn't get through it. I also strongly recommend their eggs sold in orders of 4 dozen. It's worth every single penny and quite frankly I find their prices extremely reasonable. The majority of my cooking is done via sous vide which allows you to experience the full flavor of the meat and I'm not patronizing anyone when I write that nothing that I've EVER had has come close. (I cannot recommend sous vide strongly enough) Looking forward to, for the first time, making their Osso Bucco shanks. I've had several interactions with their customer service and please trust me, it's second to none. Order over $100 so you can enjoy their $9.99 shipping. It always arrives 2-3 day after shipment and frozen solid in their vacuum packaging. (Never sous vide in this packaging.

LOVE THIS PLACE! MY husband and I stayed in the pond house over the summer with our three daughter for our 10 year anniversary. It was great we enjoyed it. We also have ordered meat from here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The quality is good and the flavor is excellent. The family here is amazing. Everyone at White Oaks Pastures are so very pleasant and kind. I love the down home country atmosphere it has. Another thing my girls enjoyed on our getaway was the fishing and the canoeing and horseback riding. Let's not forget the counting of the alligators in the pond at knight amd.shining the light out across the pond counting all the eyes. Wonderful times. Amanda Monn

The White Oak Pastures Food Truck is located outside the White Oak Pastures General Store serving their homegrown 100% grass-fed beef and pastured non-GMO poultry. I ordered the Build Your Own Burger. The Burger consisted of 2 thin patties with an array of traditional toppings on a nice soft bun. The burger was delish. They are open for breakfast and dinner. Literally Farm to Table, it's a great place to stop and grab a clean burger.

It costs 40$ to ship an order of 40$. I can't do that. We love the product but they have to come up with a palatable shipping option.

There aren't enough stars on the rating scale to give to White Oak Pastures. This farm and the family that runs it are a model for how we should return to animal welfare, quality products, and customer service. From the very first time I tried their ground beef, I was sold. I cannot eat commodity beef any longer, no matter how good I'm told it is. Their meats are that good! After placing more orders from them, and having tried almost every cut of meat they offer, it without a doubt the best meat I've ever eaten. The price is very fair, and if you buy in bulk from them, it brings the price including shipping within range of economy. To the reviewer that mentioned the $15 cooler cost, the way to offset this is to return the eco-cooler to them and they will credit your account for as many coolers as you return to them, so next time you purchase from them, you are not billed. It costs very little to return ship them. They are always very generous with throwing in some freebies with the order, which also helps offset the costs. All in all, this is a first class operation that truly cares about their animals and their customers. Their artisan sausages are to die for. As long as it is possible for me, I will always order from the Harris family. I can say enough good about this entire operation from start to finish. Try them, you will not be sorry.

Nice place to get some small gifts based on their farm. After researching about the farming we decided to go check it out. Store was nice but was expecting a top grade restaurant and service. It's ok but was left underwhelmed. Plenty of help but you have to engage them. You pay for your meal ahead of time and wasn't told or given opportunity to add a tip. So after eating I had to hit the atm bc I took no cash. They give you a number after paying and hand you the drink you ordered to take to your table. you sit at a table of your choice. Ordered a burger and thought it would be a high end sandwich. Although it was grass fed meat, it was pretty plain, cold bagged bun. Had to ask for condiments. I've had the same at many ball games. So if your going, it's basically like a restaurant attached to a gas station, not a chef grade meal. Nothing wrong with it, just disappointed in what this place could be.

Off the beaten path, this rustic store/restaurant serves simple but high quality food. The meats and chicken are from their farm.

Although I still consider the beef from White Oak Pastures excellent and appreciate what great stewards of the land they are, unfortunately I'm in a position where I won't be able to order from them anymore. Their insulated boxes for shipping cost $15 each, which is a big expense for them, and they've been forced to pass this cost on to the customer. I understand completely that this is necessary from a business perspective, but for my family it increases the price of each order beyond what we can afford. I would definitely recommend White Oak Pastures to anyone who lives within driving distance. If I lived in north Florida, I'd make the trip there on a regular basis, for sure.
