12 Best Places to Eat and Drink in Frederick, Maryland | Eater DC

"There are plenty of places to get a great drink in Frederick, and White Rabbit may be at the top of that list. The seasonal cocktail menu is frequently updated, with variations on classics as the name of the game. For example, try the Pink Pony Club, described as a “gently pomegranate vesper mule” with both Smoke Labs Saphron vodka as well as Bar Hill gin, mixed with pomegranate liqueur, blood orange ginger beer, and served with rock candy. For warmer days, slushes also change frequently, like the Shamrock Shake Slushy featuring vodka, creme de menthe, creme de cacao, and fresh cream." - Lulu Chang

Absolutely phenomenal experience at White Rabbit Gastropub! The cream of crab soup deserves a spotlight of its own. Hands down one of the best I have ever had. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My mom ordered a side salad, and we were both impressed by how generous the portion was. Definitely not an afterthought. Now let’s talk pizza, because wow. The pizza here is truly out of this world. My mom had the Fainting Goat Detroit style pizza and could not stop raving about it. The combination of the house cheese blend, roasted butternut squash, Calabrian chilis, arugula, goat cheese, rosemary oil, honey & candied walnut crumble was absolutely incredible. Such a creative and delicious mix of flavors. I had the In Crust We Trust Detroit style pizza, and it completely lived up to the hype. The cupping pepperonis, pepperoni crown, homemade red sauce, oregano, basil & parmesan were perfection. Crispy, savory, and incredibly satisfying. We also ordered the Keeping It 100 pizza to go for my husband. A 100 pepperoni pizza with cupping pepperonis, even more cupping pepperonis, a pepperoni crown crust, housemade red sauce, oregano, basil, and parmesan. He absolutely loved it and said it was so delicious. The staff are extremely friendly, which made the experience even better. This was our first time visiting, and Leah and Josh were so helpful with the menu and took the time to explain everything. Josh was our server, and he was fantastic. If you get a chance to sit in his section, definitely do it. To top it all off, their crushes are amazing as well. Highly recommend White Rabbit Gastropub if you get a chance to stop by. Every bite was memorable, and we cannot wait to go back.

White Rabbit is favorite place to eat in Frederick and will be yours too. Everything on their menu is a hit. We order the Crab Poutine fries EVERY SINGLE TIME we go. They are an absolute must on the menu along with the Empanadas when they have them. Their pizza has never once disappointed and the size of their chicken cutlets are incredible. If you like to have a drink or two with dinner, this is certainly up your alley. They have great cocktails and an awesome tap wall! While it’s often busy, the wait is always worth it (or even the bar seating if available)! If this isn’t on your go to list of restaurants in Frederick, it should be.

Google
Everything you want in a gastropub. Excellent food and excellent beer selection and so much more. French toast was next level. Try it and you'll ask how did they get that amazing texture and sweetness. Spoiler alert, it's brown sugar baked to the surface. How? No clue, but additional senses are required. Oh, and the smash burger was very good too.

Google
Friendly service at this small pub with an outside seating area. It's tucked down a street in from the busy main streets of the downtown in Frederick. We ordered the Pick 4 Detroit style pizza and the salad. The pizza was incredible, but there was very little sausage. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and tasty over very good dough. The salad was a good size for sharing with very fresh vegetables. Both waitresses were incredibly attentive and friendly. Recommend this pub in downtown Frederick. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.4 stars

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ White Rabbit Gastropub in Frederick is the kind of place that makes you want to stay for “just one more” — one more drink, one more slice, one more laugh. It’s got that perfect mix of charm and chill: cozy enough to feel like a hidden gem, but lively enough to keep things interesting. Now, let’s talk about that Detroit-style pizza. Wow. Crispy edges, fluffy center, cheesy perfection — honestly, it might be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had (and I don’t say that lightly). Every bite was a happy little moment. Add in great food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service, and you’ve got yourself a winner. White Rabbit is definitely a spot I’ll be hopping back to soon! 🐇🍕🍻

Google
This place is a great spot in town for good drinks and eats. The Veronica Vaughn pizza was excellent with the ricotta being very abundant and the pepperoni being cooked nice and cupped along with that slight hot honey kick. The brussel sprouts were a great flavored green to have. The crab poutine fries were good but nothing to write home about. The vibe and atmosphere was intimate and felt like a nice dark but speakeasy type vibe but with the energy of a gastropub. The cocktails were also very well made. The staff was very nice and attentive. There is a wait if you don't have reservations so I recommend getting it ahead of time.

Google
What a great recommendation for a one night stay! Best deep dish pizza I have ever had! A great recommendation from the server on what they are known for. Flavors were amazing and so was the cucumber salad. Seating right away and great music playing in the background. I highly recommend this place if you are in town, especially if you are walking downtown.

Google
Stopped in over a busy holiday weekend and had to wait for outdoor seating as we had our dog with us. Once seated, we were very quickly served - excellent beer selection! Although the pizzas looked tempting, we decided on the Rasta Rice Bowl with jerk chicken which was delicious. The service was friendly and professional. We finished our meal with the key lime coconut pie. All in all, a great experience!

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends for lunch after hiking at Ganbrils state park. We didnt have reservations but was able to get seat outside. Our server was friendly and told us we could scan QR code to get the menu. I saw someone else eating a Smash burger and knew I wanted one. I also ordered a Pious pear cider which was nice and too sweet. The burger had all the toppings and was filling. The group shared an order of crab poutine which was delicious. We had a bit of food envy when we saw other tables with pizza. I would love to come back and try their pizza. Had a great experience and would recommend this to others.

Yelp
Detroit friend approved! If you're looking for a place that serves great Detroit-style pizza and accommodates big groups, White Rabbit is perfect. We ordered one too many pizzas (6), but they were all crispy and delicious. One of the most unique pizzas - the Maryland's Best Crab Pizza - was a winner for me. Any of the ones with pepperoni were also good. I usually eat two slices max of Detroit-style pizza, but I definitely had to go over my limit to try almost all the pies. My group left a little over four slices left after the feast, so basically a whole pizza. The wait was 40 minutes at around 4:30pm, but I think there were a lot of people there from the street festival that Saturday afternoon. My friends and I were enjoying Tenth Ward nearby when we got the text that our table was ready. White Rabbit was willing to hold the table after my friend ran over to say we were on our way. I think White Rabbit is great for groups because of the separate ordering on Toast Tab. You can order and pay for items as an individual and as a group, so people could order their own drinks on their own tabs. The check splitting for all the pizzas was easier afterwards when we put it all on one person's credit card.

Yelp
The pizza here is amazing. Really all the food is, but the pizza is different than most pizzas. They also have really interesting toppings and every one is so so good!! The Brussels are phenomenal too!

Yelp
Fredericks best kept secret. Well I guess if you live here, it's not a secret. Hands down THE. BEST. RESTAURANT. IN. FREDERICK. The food, the drink, the vibes, all amazing.

Yelp
So cute! Excellent food! Kind staff and an excellent vibe! Can't wait to come back! Music is also on point!

Yelp
As a New Yorker, I didn't know Detroit pizza existed. When it first came out it reminded me of a Chicago pie (big and heavy) but it wasn't. It was light, airy and delicious. I recommend coming here and trying it for yourself.

Yelp
Although White Rabbit Gastropub is tucked behind a parking garage it's worth finding. The inside is a bit dark but cozy. There was a bit of a wait as expected on a Saturday around lunch time but the hostess quickly found us four seats at the bar upstairs. I had the Maryland's Best Crab Pizza, truffle parmesan fries, and an espresso martini. The crab pizza was more like crab dip on bread -- tasty but filling. Last time my friends and I had the Martha Stewart's Prison Pizza and asked for some marinara on the side. Highly recommend if you want a lighter pizza. The fries were French cut and tasted like they were tossed in malt vinegar flavor with parmesan, served with truffle mayo and ketchup. The espresso martini was good, but I've had better elsewhere in Frederick. My brother in law ordered the Ube Bae to-go and shared with us. The cake was purple, fluffy, light, and not too sweet. It's topped with the yummiest cereal milk whipped topping, fruity pebbles, and desiccated coconut. Perfect dessert! I've been here a few times and it's always a good experience. I'd recommend it!

Yelp
I heard great things about the food and drink here so had to try it. Unfortunately I already ate, but wanted to try one of their cocktails. I had the mamacita mezcalita. It was the perfect amount of freshness and smokiness. The pizza looked amazing so I may have to come back!

Yelp
What a gem this place is ! My husband and I went yesterday for lunch and actually came back for dinner to try more - it's that good. All day happy hour on Mondays and fantastic drink specials - I tried the Harvest Hugo Spritz and it was incredible - spiced and fizzy - perfect if you love an Aperol or Hugo Spritz but want something autumnal ! Leah was our bartender and she is a rockstar - SO warm, funny, helpful, friendly and just gave fantastic vibes to our whole experience. For our round 2 we were served by Johnny (? I'm sorry, I'm not sure that's his name - tall bartender with longer hair) and he was really nice and sweet too ! All the food we tried was wonderful - the crab poutine fries were out of this world, solid smash burger sliders but the pizza was star - we had the Veronica Vaughn and with the bartender's suggestion added the pepperoni crown (pepperonis baked into the crust) - soooo good. We actually ordered a ménage e trois add pepperoni pizza to take home ! We clearly could not get enough of this place, haha ! What's not to love - the food is amazing, the ambiance is cozy, and they have stellar staff that are professional while keeping it super friendly. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Frederick !

Yelp
Great service, great happy hour. Inside and outside seating. We tried the crab poutine fries which were amazing, fried tomatoes which were delicious, and a few crushes which were only $6! The pizza is so filling, please consider sharing! We ate too much and were immediately ready for bed LOL. The combinations of pizza toppings offer something for everyone. I tried a piece of my friends elote pizza, so interesting! I would definitely return.

Yelp
White Rabbit, the first stop on our tour of Frederick for my birthday weekend, is a gem and it seems like people know that. Pro tip: If you're going/ have never been, get on the waitlist online before you leave and then leave when you're basically commute time to there left on the timer. They're tucked into an alley just before "Brewer's Alley" off Market Street. Ambiance is 10/10 a very cute. Staff are all delightful, great conversationalists and yeah. We got the "Martha Stewart's prison Pizza"--my only nitpick was the Lemon Ricotta wasn't centered on a couple of the slices and was more near the crust--the Vegan cheese pizza (Wife is lactose intolerant) which was great, especially the tomato sauce, and the vegan brussels sprouts (for the same reason) which were AMAZING as well as the truffle fries. Food was stellar and we ad good beers too. This will be on our list whenever we come up to Frederick if we need food.

Yelp
Sooo good. Everything is fresh and the service is amazing. The bartenders are amazing and will make you something depending on what you are feeling like. Espresso martini was awesome!

Yelp
I was visiting Frederick Maryland for a screening of motion picture that I had produced and saw the Yelp on this establishment. The best Caesar salad I've ever eaten. The most extraordinary pepperoni pizza I've ever eaten. A super cheeky spot that's hip beyond words. It's a gotta do.

Yelp
My first visit to White Rabbit Gastropub was NOT my last! What a great staff! They are all very friendly and accommodating, answering questions, refilling glasses, and checking in with us throughout our visit. The space itself - so beautiful! The accents and lighting make the atmosphere feel inviting and chic. The food - delicious!! We ordered the cheese steak empanadas as an appetizer which were so tasty - only came with four per order so you may want to consider ordering two! The Carmela's Cutlet was a great choice. My friend enjoyed it and I definitely ate some of the fries! No regrets! The The Veronica Vaughn? The size was intimidating at first but the taste surprised me! I have had Detroit-style pizza before and have been disappointed. This time? Absolutely not! Great sauce, great crust and definitely happy to save the rest for lunch the next day. White Rabbit Gastropub - a fantastic spot in Downtown Frederick.

Yelp
Food was good, service even better. They have indoor (up and downstairs) and outdoor seating. We were greeted right when we walked in and once seated they offered QR codes or handheld menus. We could order directly through the QR code and pay making everything easy. I had the smash burger, our table also got the crab soup and the BBLT- everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere- a great place to stop by if you're in Frederick.
google avatar

Yelp
I waited so long for my food, I had to serve myself some ice from my cup I was so hungry . But I understand, they were really busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, when I finally got my food they forgot my ketchup. But accidents happen you know, so I asked the waitress for ketchup. Some time passes and the waitress comes back and she asks if we are ok. And I'm like "my ketchup?". Bro I swear she gave me a rbf ‍ In other words I felt like there was some attitude for asking for my ketchup again. That's my rant. But other than that THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Come here for sure if you big back like me

Yelp
My sister came to visit and we just looked a random place to eat in downtown Frederick and stumbled upon the White Rabbit. We were greeted at the door able to get quick seating at the bar. Leah was amazing. She made sure we had our drinks quickly. She explained the menu to us as it was our first time. Her recommendations were excellent. She checked in regularly with us and made sure we were taken care of. We hope to run into her again when we come back. The food we chose were all delicious. The pizza was my favorite with the empanadas a close second. The crab poutine was different but my sister really enjoyed it. Portions were good and I think the food was priced well. The building is a little hidden but there is some enjoyment in finding it almost feels like you have to be in the know. The restaurant itself was dimly lit but that is expected of a pub. I enjoyed it myself. Bright lights is not always needed. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone who happens to be in the area.

Yelp
Really nice ambiance and inventive menu. Nice beer selection if you are into it. We ate at the bar and the bartender was very patient and attentive with our questions.

Yelp
I've been a regular at White Rabbit Gastropub since moving to Frederick in 2022, and it has consistently delivered a 5-star experience. Sure, like any restaurant, an order can occasionally be less than perfect--but honestly, I've never had a reason to complain here. My go-to appetizer is always the cheesesteak empanadas (absolutely incredible), and hands down, the Smash Burger is the BEST I've ever had. Their pizza? Equally amazing--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done every time. Whether you're local or just visiting Frederick, White Rabbit should be at the top of your list. Great food, great vibes, and one of the best spots in town.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the first time on a Sunday night. The restaurant was fairly busy. We sat outside - as it was first come, first serve. Ordering was very easy - QR code to look at the menu and also order straight from your phone. We ordered the chicken skewers and Keeping it 100 Detroit style pizza. Everything tasted great!
google avatar

Yelp
So far one of our Favorite places in Frederick and we didn't even eat there.  Loved the atmosphere at the White Rabbit and its location (down an ally by the parking garage). Not a large space, but two floors with a different vibe on each. The ground floor bar is right at the taps containing a good selection of craft beer! The second floor has a speakeasy/lounge atmosphere and mixes amazing cocktails.  Service was prompt and friendly from the bar tenders!  The Negroni I ordered was delicious, but the Jefferson Airplane Old-Fashioned was one of the best we've had!  Spot on flavors and presentation.   All the food we saw being served looked great, especially the pepperoni pizza. Definitely will dine here next time.
google avatar

Beth M.

Yelp
Got the same Gluten Free pizza for takeout tonight, except it wasn't the same. When we got it before, we thought the crust was too good to be Gluten Free, and this time the crust was completely different and more similar to Gluten Free pizzas we've had at other restaurants. Our conclusion: we were served the wrong pizza last time. Fortunately, we don't have Celiac disease. Not reducing the number of stars at this point. Hopefully the mistake made on our first visit was an honest mistake that will not be repeated!
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
Get the malt vinegar aioli! We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night, and were happy to have gotten a table right away, even though it was incredibly busy. We really enjoyed both plates that we ordered - the beet burger and the muffalata burger. The service was great, the vibes were great. I upgraded to the truffle fries and was very happy I did so
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
Awesome food, service, and experience. I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for a bite afterwards. Veronica Vaughn - $22 Mr. Mustache (Craft stout) - $7 The flavor combinations on the pizza did not disappoint!!

Yelp
If you find yourself in Fredrick, MD, and want an excellent place to get a beer and a burger, you must give this place a shot. It's hidden behind the church street parking garage. They have over 40 taps at the bar. The mood is chill with good music, a little dark. There is seating upstairs for large parties. Ok, regarding the food, I had the smash burger solid as an MOFO. Very, very good. As I was destroying my burger, many people ordered the cheese bread. The dude beside me had one; it looked like a French-bread cheese pizza. It looked amazing. I sat at the bar, and the bartender did a great job; she was super friendly. I would come back here and get the cheese bread.

Yelp
My oh my, a new favorite restaurant of mine!!! This is a really cool low-lit grungy place. The service was great! She was very friendly. The food was amazing. I cannot wait to go back and it's definitely a new Frederick favorite. The pizza is square and thick and so delicious - it reminds me of a pan style pizza. The smash burger was sooooo good, it's definitely not a fancy thick burger, it's your basic American patty, cheese, pickles burger and it definitely hit the spot. The cheesesteak empanadas were delicious too. I can't wait to try more food but I found what we ordered to be so good that I also wouldn't mind getting the same items! I also tried the margarita and espresso martini and both were delicious! Some places you know you should get a martini, but this place did the espresso martini well. I can't wait to come back. I plan on recommending this place to all my friends!

Shanna A.

Yelp
First time in and I will definitely be back. Fantastic service from Erin at the bar. Absolutely wonderful pizza. The sour beer was great too! Thank you for this great neighborhood spot with all of the dark wood and low bar lights. Even loves all of the taps on the wall. (There were like 30!)
google avatar

Nisha S.

Yelp
Martha Stewart's prison pizza & Guava no Guava. Just tell your server these words; you're welcome in advance. Like a hidden little tavern, you might need to use your gps to find this gem but it's 100% worth it. Kind bartender, amazing food and great local brews that come from a penny set instillation of a tap.. it's absolutely worth going to see what I'm talking about.
google avatar

Ali M.

Yelp
Another five star experience! Service from Joe and Leah was amazing. Food was next level. The pizza is to die for. Had the Panzanella too which was great (a bit sweet with all the corn but no complaints!). Can't wait to return to this gem of a restaurant. Well done and may the force be with you.

Yelp
Late Saturday lunch on a perfect day. Sat outside. Place was busy, but were sat quickly and service was great. Had the Veronica, Salad and Shrimp Appetizer all were so good. Will be back!

Yelp
The food is different but delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant is eccentric and serene. The service was always great each time we dined there. Very highly recommended!

Yelp
While visiting a close friend in Frederick he took me to White Rabbit. He had a ton of great things to say about this place so I was all ears. Before walking into the pub we were warmly greeted and sat at the bar. Our host for the afternoon was no other than the amazing Leah. By far this was one of the best casual experiences I've had at a pub. She did an amazing job outlining the menu to a newcomer like me. Leah is bright, lively and comical. My friend and I ended up going with the Veronica Vaughn pizza to share. I got the Carmela's Cutlet and my friend got the smash burger. The food was on point. Not only was the food great but I had a great experience. The restaurant has a friendly feel and was accommodating.

Yelp
First time in Frederick and decided to stop in on this cute spot on a Friday night. It was a cute, cozy restaurants with great drinks, and tasty bites. We split the Crab Poutine and a pizza and it was perfect for two. I love the option of ordering from your table but our server was on it with great recommendations. I only wish they took reservations. Other than that, I highly recommend giving dropping in on the White Rabbit!
google avatar

Eimy B.

Yelp
This restaurant is exceptional! We walked in and were greeted right away. We were seated and provided water. The manager shared the menu with us and we ordered 3 pizza's. We ordered the Veronica Vaughn Pizza, Crab Pizza and pepperoni pizza "In Crust we Trust." We all had an amazing time here and I highly recommend it to others!
google avatar

Olga S.

Yelp
White Rabbit Gastropub in Frederick is a hidden gem! Tucked away just enough to feel like you've discovered something special. The vibe is chill, laid-back, and the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy some seriously good food. Their Detroit-style pizza is next level--crispy edges, full of flavor, and perfectly done. If you're into bold, comforting flavors, this place nails it. And if you're a chicken sandwich chaser, don't sleep on theirs--it's legit one of the best I've had. Still amazing even cold, which says a lot. Service was decent--friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Everything moved at a relaxed pace, which fit the vibe.
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants around Frederick. The crab fries are incredible. The burgers are on point. And their adult beverage selection is always a hit. My family lives it here.
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
This place is a little off the beaten path, but we were lucky to find an available parking space in their small lot (there is a garage nearby). The patio was full and is also dog friendly. We sat inside by the window and enjoyed seeing all of the pups who escorted their owners to lunch. I had an iced tea and the smash burger, which was the best smash burger I have ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious and it was served with an abundance of crispy fries. Service is hybrid here - you can order using the QR code on your table or through the server. We used the QR code and it seemed like our beverages were server as soon as we ordered them. I look forward to returning and trying more from their menu.

Randi K.

Yelp
Man, I love this place more and more. Shout out to Vincent, our server, who was attentive, personable , and offered great suggestions for some new food to try. We ordered the Birria Smashburger (a thin patty topped with braised beef and cilantro and onion- I didn't see the vision at first, but it became clear with that first bite! Accompanied with the cooking broth/ au jus to dip...you don't even necessarily need, but it levels up with a smidge. We noticed you don't taste the beef patty much, and I love their smashburgers, but I still loved it. Of course I ordered their cucumbers and feta as my side (I don't think I will ever NOT orders those) and we shared the cheesy bread which came with a spicy marinara - it was like a small sample of their Detroit cheese pizza everyone loves. This is the place I recommend to out of towners- so head on over - locals and visitors alike. Side note: I also love how the chef continues to experiment with menu items.

Douglas S.

Yelp
Holy moly! Had not been in this building since the original La Paz restaurant was open. So glad we made it. First, we loved the decor. Super funky. Food: I'm still dreaming about the chicken cutlet sandwich. If, like me, sandwiches are your favorite food, highly recommended you get it. Pesto fries were crazy good too. The Detroit style pizza looked amazing as well but I was too stuffed from the chix sammie to have a bite. Can't remember our waitress's name but she was fabulous. Helped navigate my wife's dietary challenges and had just the right amount of sass to make for a fun evening. Finally, they serve Miller High Life bottles. (Mic drop) Will be back!

Yelp
A fantastic find tucked away in downtown Frederick. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered. The restaurant was small and cozy although they did say they had another floor. We were served immediately, everyone was very friendly. We were only stopping in on the way to an event and only had time for an appetizer and drink but it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely return. We ordered the cheese bread, a cranberry cider and the chocolate orange slushy. If you park in the church street parking garage you can access it very easily. I highly recommend!

Yelp
This is such a cute little hole in the wall business. It isn't very big att all but the atmosphere is super cozy. Great place to go with friends and just hang out. The food is delicious amd they have options for those with dietary restrictions. The pizza was soooo good. The staff were also very friendly and a great vibe. There is a parking garage right next to the place but it's very cheap. I think it waa about $2 to park for 2 hrs or so. The garage does have a lot of stairs but is wheelchair accessible if you go out of your way. All in all 10/10 spot, will deff go again when I am in the area.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to go to white rabbit this week in order to scratch my burger itch. Needless to say I was extremely satisfied. My group each ordered the smash burger with paramsan truffle fries and the singature "in crust we trust" pizza, which is a detroit style pizza layered with many pepperonis. The smashburger was amazing, melt in your mouth meat, pickles thst gave a nice zing. The burger definitely left you wanting to get a second one, sadly i had to refrain. The "In Crust We Trust" looked thick however the way the bread was made resulted in an extremely fluffy pizza. The end result was an amazing pizza experience, almost as if yoi were biting into a cloud. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
My husband and I went for Sunday brunch. We totally loved our experience! Food was FANTASTIC! Service was AWESOME - both friendly and efficient! We can't wait to go back again

Reasonable spectrum of food options with tap list featuring local brews. Can't say the food blew me away on the vegetarian front, but solid option for a quick bite!

Yelp
My son and I stopped by White Rabbit Gastropub last month on our way home from Delaware. I like to look for these type of restaurants instead of hitting the typical roadside fast food place. The pub is tucked away next to a church in Frederick MD. GPS will take you to the church and the pub is actually behind it you can walk around back to get to it. There is a driveway and parking next to it. Service here was great and friendly. You order directly from your phone by scanning the QR code on the table. You can pay the bill that way as well when you're ready to check out. My son and I got the same thing which was the BLT special. We shared the fried green tomatoes appetizer. It was really good. The food was fresh and tasty. The beer I got was the Whistler from a local brewery. It was cold and crisp. Sitting inside was a little dark but, there are tables outside. It was a little hot for that on the day we went. I definitely bookmarked this place for another visit in the future.

Yelp
Detroit pizza in Frederick is a reality! The pizza is flavorful and very different than anything available locally. It is thick without being overly heavy. The sauce is very tasty as is the cheese. The pepperoni crown on the crust is great.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Lea was our server and bartender. She gave wonderful recommendations and checked on us to make sure we were happy with our food and drinks. The price was right and we were there during happy hour. Cute atmosphere and kid friendly.

Yelp
Wow! From the moment we walked through the door through the fast, easy payment after our meal, everything here is wonderful! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and chose to sit upstairs. There is seating outside, with umbrellas (and weather dependent), and seating for about 20 downstairs. After we were seated, we were greeted by one of the wait staff who led us through the menu and ordering process. You can choose a paper menu or use a QR code to view through your phone (my choice), order online or by waitress (my choice); I went a little tech and a little personable. The waitress who took our orders gave me great suggestions - ultimately I decided on the Burrata Panzanella and added a beet burger. I don't particularly care for beets but never saw one before so was intrigued enough to try it. Hubby got the smash burger with a side of truffle fries He loved his smash burger and the fries were fully coated in a truffle Parmesan blanket. My burrata was fresh and oh so great. All of the vegetables - grape tomatoes of various beautiful colors, hulled corn, cucumber, pickled red onion - were just picked fresh and beautifully arranged on a lovely plate with fresh basil with the right amount (a kiss) of honey vinaigrette, maldon salt and delicious croutons (usually I think croutons are an unnecessary carb on a salad but these croutons were excellent). The service and the food were absolutely great. The ambiance is fine, while nothing to write home about it's VERY clean. I also judge an eatery's cleanliness by how well the bathrooms are kept and the bathroom I was in upstairs was very clean, amazing considering they are mixed seating (no offense, guys, but some of you don't aim well). Will definitely come back bec the menu changes based on what fresh foods are available. Last, there is plenty of parking because the restaurant is next to a parking garage.
