Check your receipts! Usually love this coffee shop, they have a fun way of incentivizing tips with “Team Mario vs Team Luigi” “Cowboys vs Eagles” so on, baskets that make it easy and cute to tip in cash. Always, when I pay at the window, they hand me the card reader to tap or insert and I get prompted to tip, which I usually decline because I prefer to tip with cash there. Today I ordered a $3.50 bruschetta egg bite, and instead of handing me the reader, the woman took my card inside to process it. When she gave my card back, I asked for a receipt, and she seemed a little frazzled and turned around. Then a guy came to the window and said something out loud like repeating her, “Oh, she doesn’t want to tip anymore? Ok!” which caught me off guard since I hadn’t been prompted to tip at all. I asked if a tip had been added, and the woman popped from behind him and said she accidentally added a tip, I asked how much and it was $3, which normally no biggie; whatever! However, I did the quick math on a $3.50 order, that’s an 85.7% tip. I can honestly say I’ve never seen that as a tip prompt option. Before I could say anything again the guy now handling the transaction said it was no big deal and that they refunded it, which I appreciate! But honestly, it felt strange because that $3 tip probably had to be entered manually, it’s not like an easy mistake of a 15%-20% to just “tap.” Mistakes happen, and they fixed it, but I just wanted to share so others can be aware and double-check their receipts here. It’s a great place otherwise, and I hope they tighten up how they handle payments to avoid confusion in the future.

Went through the drive thru at about 10:30 today, and ordered 2 drinks and the Thai noodle bowl. This is what I received. I paid $8.25 for a bowl that's not even 1/3rd full. The service was great, and even though they were training someone, everyone was super nice and quick. This bowl is the most disappointing thing I've bought from here. It states that it's supposed to be 12.3 oz, and even with 2 plastic containers, it doesn't even reach 11oz. I need to emphasize- I do not blame the employees in the stand. They were all lovely. I am greatly disappointed, though.

The worst cappuccino I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a small cappuccino with whole milk. On the menu it says it’s 6oz, but just to make sure I included the word small in my order. Sure enough, it came out as 12oz. I told the worker that I believe this is wrong, I asked for a small and the menu even says it’s 6oz. With a lot of attitude and annoyance, she disappeared and reappeared with a drink in the correct size cup. The espresso is so hot & taste burned and I’m fairly confident it is not whole milk as there is no creaminess to it. The whole drink so bitter and the service matched it. Very disappointing as it’s rare I spend money on coffee out these days. White Rock Coffee Douglas & Royal locations do however make fantastic cappuccinos the correct size. Merit Coffee across the street always delivers a quality cappuccino.

I really appreciate the hard work and energy of the employees. However, I did notice that the quality of the coffee wasn’t quite up to par this time. I’m choosing to think it might just have been an off day, as they usually serve really great coffee.

Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and paid over $7 for a “medium” that took me 3 minutes to drink. It was delicious, but over way too soon — it was predominantly ice! So disappointing. I’ve loved WRC since early days and I want to support it, but it costs too much time and money for what I’m getting.

I typically love it here, but anytime I ask for light ice they do not fill it up whatsoever. They significantly reduce the amount of drink and I think it is unreasonable and stingey. I love it here typically, but I think this is not appropriate for $6

This little drive up is the best! I’ve NEVER had a coffee order messed up here. That’s big! Great coffee drinks. Great alternative non dairy milks. That’s super impressive! Great food items. Lovely staff. Always super helpful and friendly.

Pardon my French, but the sopapilla latte and chorizo breakfast strata just blew my effing mind. The latte was a sweet little treat while the chorizo strata was holding down the fort with its flakey exterior and soft and gooey, cheesy, egg and chorizo interior. Highly recommend, probably overindulged but I’ll happily deal with the consequences later.

Stopped by here on a whim. The staff was friendly and the drive thru service was quick. The Monarch Latte was delicious and my husband said his Vanilla Latte was his second favorite he's had during our trip to Texas. The blackberry cream cheese kolache was yummy as well. We will try to stop by next time we are in town.

This place is speedy!! I was debating on stopping because there was a decent line...I got my coffee within 8 minutes! The espresso was smooth. I ordered a half sweet blue bonnet (lavender and blue spirulina). It came to about $7 for a medium. My boyfriend ordered an iced rocker and loved it!

Excellent espresso! I would say their espresso blend is comparable to Starbucks blonde roast. Really fast service with a smile!

Service is always great and fast. This is an express location compare to their normal shop off northwest highway. Their white rocker is inconsistent here. I always get that everytime I go to white rock coffee. Always order it with almond milk. By the time I realize it taste different, I already drove away and don't feel like going back in line and wait. The iced white rocket is less creamy here and I think it taste better creamy. If they have any breakfast strata, get it! It's flakey and delicious. One tip if you're pulling up to drive through, know what you want so you don't hold up the line. Look up their menu online before hand.

I stopped by white rock coffee Sunday morning because I had heard good things about it. I didn't expect to like it so much! The breakfast was flavorful and the coffee was what I needed for a late morning pick me up. The line moved quickly for how long it was and the employees were very pleasant. This is a great place to grab a coffee or bite to eat while you're on the go.

Stopped by to get coffee around 6pm, I was confused when no one was answering us through the drive thru speakers. We felt confused as online it says they close at 7pm. All lights inside were on and we saw 2 employees inside which made us more confused and we were wondering on whether we had to get off at the window to try to order as no one was answering through speakers. We waited and parked ready to head to the order window but then we saw the 2 employees take out trash and leave. My partner and I felt so dumb just waiting there and confused. I'm so sad because I love white rock coffee but we were right out ignored. I realize sometimes business close early, however no sign was up to inform customers, and employees were still there to at least respond to us and let us know they were closing up however there was absolutely zero response. We waited there for about 15 minutes feeling dumb, confused and ignored and felt even worse when we made eye contact with the employees as they were leaving and that is how we had to realize they closed and that we had to go elsewhere. Best lavender iced coffee!! Service is always kind and welcoming and while the lines might be huge, they move super fast.

Was going to White Rock Lake area and needed a quick coffee, so glad we picked this spot! This location is drive thru only it looks like. The girl helping us was very helpful, we wanted a hot white chocolate mocha (couldn't find it on the menu) and she explained how they made it, we got it without the caramel. Let me tell you, the BEST white choc mocha we've ever had, it was SO good! Wish they had locations more up north but they have a few spread out across the Dallas area. Must try!

I am a sucker for an iced white rocker. Seriously if you haven't tried White Rock Coffee stop what you are doing and drive to Dallas! We were greeted with such friendly faces and delicious coffee.

As a longtime WRC supporter it pains me to leave a poor review, however, my WRC experiences in the last year have been an absolute hit or miss. My go to order is a blended atom bomb, which was made with consistency for years. Starting about a year ago, it seems like y'all just make up a new recipe every time I order the drink. Sometimes it's acceptable, sometimes it's absolutely awful. I've gone so far as to ask if the recipe is changed, or if it can be made a specific way (original way) and it's still so hit or miss I've stopped coming. Already an expensive option, and with high tipping expectations by the staff, I'd encourage y'all do to a round of quality control with your beverages. I love my order at White Rock Coffee, and will continue to support if this is fixed, but getting a basic menu item correct less than 20% of the time just isn't acceptable in my book.

Disclaimer- I am a true Starbucks loyalists but i love to try local coffee shops! First of all this is just a drive thru so quick and to the point! The staff was nice and friendly! I got the White rocker and was not disappointed! And i can say that with confidence!

Hands down one of the best coffee places in Dallas. If it's your first time u have to get the Adam bomb! If you want a breakfast item I recommend the breakfast strata or the breakfast sandwich. They have really good pastries as well.

You shouldn't call something a "green harvest smoothie" when it's loaded with sugar & artificial flavors. It's an icee, plain & simple. There were also large chunks of ice in the drink. Plus, this place is WAY overpriced. And then the guy at the window hands me a tablet to add a tip. For what? Overcharging for an icee & muffin? Embarrassing. So I just put a dollar in their tip cup. I won't be coming back and absolutely do not recommend. An extra star is for the kind lady who took my order.

The coffee here is pretty good but there's something going on with their espresso shots. I order a lot of double-espressos from this place. Each double espresso costs around $3.50 (not including tip). When you get the double shot however, it weighs out only to about 17-19 grams. That is a single shot weight. Double espresso shots should be somewhere around 35 grams. So, in order to get a true double espresso from here, you'd need to order two doubles, which comes out to over $6, which is absolutely crazy. I can go to any other coffee shop in Dallas (which I have) and they pull true doubles. If you head down to Toasted off of lower-Greenville for example, and ask for a double espresso, you'll get a true double. These guys are pulling singles and selling them as doubles, which is unconscionable. The reason I come here is because I like their beans a lot, but until they fix how they pull shots and stop purposefully short-changing customers, I won't be back sadly. No other espresso I've had in Dallas is as small in volume as this place.

Simply the best iced coffee. Service is quick and friendly! Try the white rocker. Baked items are always a win!

For a long time I was a daily regular with my girlfriend. Over time we were told by an employee that cold drinks were made with cold brew rather than espresso. If you like watered down drinks that don't wake you up, go here. I will say most of the employees are super chill and nice to talk to in the drive thru however one employee who takes orders in the mornings a lot of times speaks WAY too loud in the speaker and OVER suggests buying other items. It's one thing to up-sell, but another to be obnoxious about it. I think it's really important to have employees who don't say the SAME thing every time someone drives thru, it's good to change the motto up. Another thing--I really think this coffee company should have a rewards program as they have a frequent long line and I'm sure other people would like to be rewarded occasionally as well. Overall, drinks taste good but they are not packed with enough caffeine to make a difference during the day. If you are an experienced coffee drinker, don't waste your time.

Always friendly and quick service although they can be super busy. Coffee is delicious and the food choices are nice. Love supporting this business.

First Impressions: Cute coffee drive-thru and AWESOME customer service. The girl that took my order was super friendly and helpful. The guy that took my card was genuinely nice and gave Ruby Dooby Doo a dog biscuit! Order: Small (12 oz) Adam Bomb (Two shots of Espresso blended with vanilla and cinnamon) and I added a shot for an additional cost, making it a triple. *** Coffee was VERY good and I have a feeling it will be my regular. Breakfast Sandwich (Egg, cheese, bacon, spinach, & pesto spread on a brioche bun) *** Breakfast was good. Definitely better than a crusty, old Starbucks breakfast sandwich. The bacon added nice flavor, but the texture wasn't right. Way too floppy. I picked it off & gave it to Ruby(she was an extra happy dog). The egg was square, which was interesting. Pesto spread, spinach, & bun brought the fast food item up several notches. Worth a try if you're hungry. Notes: the coffee stopper was only about an inch long, which I LOVED. To me it says that they're serious about quality and morally sound. I was quite happy to not have a toxic piece of plastic floating around in my cup. Conclusion: I'm a believer and I will return to White Rock Coffee. Check it out for yourself! You shan't be disappointed.

Waited 15 minutes for a drink that cost me $7. They had a large amount of staff working and didn't seem to have that many orders, unless most were online. I had an extra shot in my drink, which was nearly a dollar extra, and it just tastes like a bland coffee. Seems watered down. Overall a waste of time and money, I don't recommend this spot.

Waited 20 min for one drink. People who were behind me got their drinks before I did. Just save your time and money and go to Starbucks instead.

Love this drive through. As local as things get. Try the Adam Bomb - blended, on ice, or hot it's a delicious treat. Their espresso is too good though. It's perfectly pulled, beautifully balanced, has a smooth fresh taste. I'm so fucked up from Starbucks I can not really enjoy how great WRCoffee's espresso is. After enjoying the first delicious sip I sneak a double shot of shitty Starbucks espresso into every WRCoffee ‍ #shame Go to White Rock Coffee right now. You'll love their coffees and their employees are the best.

Where do all of the local runners that frequently 'loop the lake' GO for their coffee fix?! White Rock Coffee, of course! This is the place you come to get your caffeine on...for sure. Go on Saturday morning and you will more than likely find a line of cars wrapped around the little 'express' house/hut...as well as folks lined up at the walk up and order window. The drive thru goes by super fast though because the baristas inside know their stuff and they move quickly. I highly recommend you try the White Rocker latte with almond milk. Or, any of their dark roasts. If you want a real decadent treat get yourself a croissant with the ham and cheese BAKED IN. Whut. HEAVEN. It is my constant craving. Get you some!!

These people are so rude! They laughed at me and my friend when we went to the wrong place for the drive through on accident (first time). No coffee is worth bad service :( kind of expensive too.

What a joyful first experience at White Rock! As a barista myself, I was delighted every step of the way. The guy on the order board was kind and efficient in greeting me and getting my order, and the girl at the window was radiating the same friendly energy. She immediately noticed my excited dog (who knows what "let's go get coffee means" and loves to join me on my coffee run every morning) and offered us a dog treat! Immediate 5 stars from Ramona! I was also so happy when I received a clipboard to sign my card receipt - White Rock cares about their wonderful employees enough to ensure pleased customers are able to tip not just via cash, but on card as well. Well supported baristas are happy baristas and happy baristas give great service. I am always more inclined to support a business I can see supports their workers as, once again, I have worked in the industry myself. So shoutout to the higher ups for that tidbit. Now let's get to the coffee: I tried the White Rocker which is white chocolate and caramel, since I enjoy sweet drinks, this one is great for anyone who orders white mochas w/ toffeenut or caramel at SB. This drink did not disappoint!! The espresso is nicely well rounded with a great bold flavor that is perfectly balanced by the sweet white chocolate and caramel. I'm excited to try the Adam Bomb on my next visit, per my window baristas recommendation. Ramona and I can't wait to come back and continue supporting this business! I think this express location will be my new go to that I've been searching for since settling in the area.

White Rock Coffee has the absolute best beans around! All of their drinks and pastries and drinks are on point, especially the iced chai. My only complaint is that the turkey provolone sandwich is only one slice of turkey and one slice of provolone (with lettuce and aioli) making it a sad sandwich.

So happy I was finally in the area to stop by WRC! Honestly one of the best experiences I've had not only with a business but with the product! Such a cute little express shop with two drive thru lines that keep the flow of customers moving. I ordered an regular 12oz coffee and a 12oz blended/frozen caramel latte. Coffee was great, but OMG latte was amazing! The best I've ever had...both for under $6! Customer service was amazing...I wish I didn't live so far away, I'd stop by at least once a week (have to pace myself) for that goodness! Stop by, you'll love it too!

My husband and I are regulars and love to walk to White Rock Coffee Express from our house in Hillside :) My one complaint is I wish there was a separate pick up window or spot from the ordering window for online pick up orders. There is usually a huge line which defeats the purpose of ordering online if you have to wait in the line anyways to get your coffee. But, the staff is always super friendly and the coffee/food is great! One other comment--sometimes the breakfast sandwiches recently have not been completely heated and are frozen in the middle still.... which is not great. But, the breakfast sandwiches are amazing when they are hot!

Great little coffee shop! Excellent staff and the quality of coffee and food was great! I went back around another time for their white chocolate scones. Not a sit in or dine in place but a perfect little spot if you're on the go and need a nice cup of coffee and a snack.

This is my daily go-to coffee shop. There's often a line but it's so worth it. And here's why - I get a damn good cup of coffee from, hands down, the friendliest people making a damn good cup of coffee. Over time I've come to know the staff and they know my name and from time to time I bump into them in the real world and they are just as dadgum friendly then as they are while they work. And it's not that weird creepy "my pleasure" kind of friendly you get at that fried chik-nugget place. These are genuine good folks. Did I mention the coffee is really good?

What a cute little place! I got the iced white rocker and wow it was so good and then I also got a blueberry muffin - I am not joking when I say it's the best one I've ever had.

I went here 2 weeks ago. Absolutely loved the coffee! It was my first visit, and I asked for the most popular coffee. The barista made me the Adam bomb. Best choice ever! It was so tasty! The white chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon... The cinnamon was a wonderful addition to the drink. Can't wait to try another drink. I love to support local small businesses. I think this place is better than Starbucks.

I'm not a fan of coffee, but this place smelled so good when I went with my friend that I had to try their iced mocha and it was amazing!! It wasn't super heavy on the coffee flavor and it wasn't overly sweet. It was the perfect blend of mild coffee and sweet chocolate mocha flavor.

Probably one of the coolest parts about picking a coffee shop based off of where we'll be for the day is that I know nothing about it. I basically figure out what area I'll be in, find a shop nearby and go. So once I got home and did some research on White Rock Coffee, I now understand my reaction to loving my latte a little more! I had no idea that KRUPS voted them one of the top 15 coffeehouses in America AND they've won Best Cup of Coffee in Dallas, as well as Best Coffeehouse in Dallas along with other local awards. Making me now want to visit their Brew lab the next time I'm out by the Arboretum. This location is their Express stop! While the cars in the drive thru wrapped around their little building and down the parking lot where they sit, we got out of the car to order at the window instead. The woman who took my order was so nice! I ordered an Adam Bomb with oat milk and oooooh my word. When I see drinks that include white chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon I think it might be too sweet, but it was very well balanced and not too sweet at all, so I was still able to taste their amazing espresso. White Rock Coffee Express was exactly what we needed last week!

I am new to the Dallas area and had a spark of inspo to try something local other than that global chain we all know and somewhat love. I'd heard good things about White Rock from a certain Instagram influencer #iykyk and decided to check it out! I went on a Saturday @ 10 and the line wasn't long and went by fast. I have a feeling that was luck though because as I was exiting the line wrapped around the parking lot I ordered the pecan coffee cake and an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, I kno I kno, basic. I absolutely loved the coffee cake muffin - at first bite I thought it was pretty bland but then I realized the real star of the show is the pecans and the sugar (should've known, ha!) I will say though, I think there's something better to order for a drink than the one that I got. It tasted pretty watered down and flavorless. That being said, I would definitely go back for the muffin and tweak my drink order some - with a line like that there's gotta be something I'm missing!

My sis and I needed something warm to drink and found this little shop in the area. I ordered a CHAI LATTE and it came out way too sweet for my liking. The chai spice flavor was lacking, it was too milky, and the consistency was too thin. The sis got the ADAM BOMB with almond milk. I liked it better than my chai latte, but honestly it was nothing spectacular. I could taste the cinnamon and white chocolate and it was sweet. Service was super friendly, but the drinks were nothing amazing.

I have been a regular here for the past 5 years. They used to have two drive up windows, but it seems ever since they reduced down to one window it takes an insanely long time to get your coffee. It consistently takes 30 minutes or more to order my coffee in the morning. I absolutely love this coffee and purchase the whole beans for my espresso machine at home, but I'm simply going to have to find a new coffee shop in town if they cannot figure out how to make the drive through faster.

I have been going here for SEVERAL months now- almost half a year. Personally, I never enjoyed the taste of coffee. However, I got to taste the coffee that the staff at this location, specifically, make and I have got to tell you- it's heavenly. ALL of the staff are extremely sweet and do whatever it takes to make each and every customer's visit wonderful to the best of their ability. If you want to get a tasty cup of coffee and meet the sweetest people, come here!

After stumbling upon this adorable coffee drive they on accident, it has quickly become my go to when I'm in the neighborhood. The coffee is always consistently, make that consistently delicious! Not only is the staff easily the friendliest crew out of all the coffee joints in town, they are quick. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my coffee no matter how busy they are. The coffee is cheaper than Starbucks and in my opinion it is on par taste wise. I'd vote to go here any day of the week in an effort to support local businesses!

First time costumer: I went up to the intercom, no answer, so i drive up to the window, there is now a long line behind me. I come up to the window see the cashier has coffee in hand and I tell him its not mine I tried stopping at the intercom but assumed to drive up with no answer. Anyways he starts shaking his head 'no' looks annoyed. Asks what my order is, I let him know. Tells who I assume is the manager I didnt order at the intercom, she tells him to tell me to go back around in line, after he already took my order. Wow really? The guy didnt even apologize for the inconvenience of waiting in line for nothing. This is not good customer service. Sticking to Starbucks. The owner needs to hire better people that enjoy their job. They just lost a costumer and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Today I went for my normal coffee run and went to this place in the drive thu. I ordered my ice Mocha Latte and when it arrived I tasted it and it was way to strong for me I couldn't even drink it. I went home and had to add more creamer to it and some more sweetener and yet it was still to sting . I had to end up throwing it away because I cannot stand the taste of it. I think I will stay at my Starbucks where I can't even drink my drink without throwing it away.

I love this place! The veggie breakfast sandwich is so good that I will literally punch someone for it. Okay maybe not but it is really delicious and it's hard to find vegetarian food that isn't bland and boring and gross. The coffee drinks are delicious and the staff is super friendly. It is always super busy but they staff appropriately and work as fast as they can to get people through the line as quickly as possible.

Wonderful coffee and staff. I know so many locals and this is their fave place. The staff remembers your order if your a regular. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. A special shout out to Kim. She always delivers exceptional service!

Best iced chais in Dallas! My go-to spot when I'm in the white rock area. Kim and Cindy are the sweetest!

White Rock coffee is always a bright spot in my day. The drive thru is so convenient on my way to work! Coffee is amazing, better then Starbucks in my opinion. Staff is always so friendly too!
