I’ve been going to White Whale almost every week since they opened, and it never misses. Every visit is consistently great—from craft cocktails to the service. The owners truly care about their guests and it shows. They make everyone feel welcome and pay attention to the details that matter. The craft cocktails are easily some of the best in town—no exaggeration—and the quality never dips, even when the bar is packed. The space strikes that perfect balance between classy and cozy, which is exactly what downtown Fremont has been missing. It’s perfect whether you’re catching up with a friend, on a low-key date, or enjoying a live DJ on weekends. The interior deserves its own shoutout: Japanese anime-inspired decor, warm wood accents, leather couches, and low lighting that creates an intimate, chill vibe. Whenever friends visit from out of town, White Whale is always the first place I recommend—and it never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great drinks, great energy, and a space that feels intentional and welcoming.

I absolutely love what they did with this entire venue. Its clean, modern, artsy and upbeat. The service is fabulous from the door all the way to the bar. Such a fun atmosphere to chill, drink, and vibe the night away. There is alot of attention to detail in the design of this place. They have the bar and bathroom countertops boasting the Japanese art form of Kintsugi! I also adored how the ladies bathroom was surrounded by mirrors, so cute and fun!🙌🏻🤩💃🤳 not to mention delicious cocktails! Whether its on or off the menu, the bartenders here deliver😎👍🏻

Me and my fiancé were blown away at this hidden gem! Evan the co-owner was attentive, and took care of us extremely well. His apprentice Georgia was so sweet and is learning from a master mixologist! The drinks were 10/10! And not only did Evan explain his mission to keep locals happy but to keep us coming back with amazing pricing. He even gave us a tour of the back room speakeasy! They are having a Valentine’s Day special for you love birds out there you won’t want to miss it! Me and my fiancé will definitely be back! Everyone was so welcoming, it honestly felt like I had been going there for years. Everything was just simply perfect!

White Whale at Downtown Fremont in Las Vegas just took the cocktail experience to the next level! Their front room is fun, colorful, has a DJ and even has some awesome custom dragon ball z art on the wall. The servers and bartenders were very polite and provided very quick and friendly service. We also managed to make it into the back room which is a more exclusive and speakeasy sort of vibe. The back room is quaint but what I REALLY enjoyed was how their craft cocktail menu isn’t a set menu and it changes from night to night depending on the theme or bartenders’ choice that night… an Omakase bar experience, if you will! Which is something I personally haven’t heard of yet, and those were some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I also heard they feature some amazing drink specials on happy hour. Great new bar towards the end of the Fremont experience. Nice ambiance, and good mix drinks. One of the owners is born/raised from Oahu so come and support. While there, hit up Evan and Daniel for good drinks. Very knowledgeable in mixology, if you’re craving something that’s not on the menu, ask them what they suggest and they can create something good.

Best craft cocktail lounge in downtown! It’s located right off of Fremont St and Las Vegas Blvd. Great setting for large groups or fun date night spot! Besides the delicious cocktails, the service is why we keep coming back to this gem! The prices are reasonable and they also do an all day happy hour every Monday for locals and industry peeps! Such a great addition to the downtown area!

White Whale feels like the “adult swim” version of downtown — dim, warm, wood + leather + brass glow, and the kind of place where you can actually hear the person you came with. It’s tucked away enough that it has that locals-only energy, and once you’re inside, Fremont noise basically disappears. You sit down and your whole night slows down in the best way. Drink-wise, I went Troublemaker + The Rumble, and they couldn’t be more perfect as a one-two punch. Troublemaker is crisp and refreshing — strawberry, cucumber, mint, and a ginger kick that keeps it snappy without getting sweet. The Rumble is the darker “don’t rush me” drink — smoky, spicy, rye-forward, with cinnamon/charred citrus in the air before you even sip. One’s bright and dangerous, the other’s moody and dramatic… and both make you feel like you picked the right bar.

Wonderful new bar! Very nice and intimate atmosphere. The mixology is truly top-tier. The bartenders really listen to what you want and deliver exactly that. You can tell the drinks are made with care, creativity, and skill. A great spot if you’re looking for quality cocktails and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. 🍸.Ryan, Evan, and Georgia were amazing!

White whale is a new cocktail bar by Fremont that will cement itself as a go-to for any cocktail enthusiast. They artistically craft each menu item and you can taste all the hard work and experience put into each cocktail! Jules made us feel very welcomed and Daniel was really knowledgeable and guided us through the menu giving us insight into the story of White Whale. I really enjoyed talking about different bars with the same feel and approach to cocktails. White Whale is more than a bar, it is an experience. One of my top cocktail bar experiences of all time!

We went to the soft opening of White Whale and my husband and I were impressed with the Hospitality! Evan was great with explaining the concept behind White Whale and recommending us great drinks. Highly recommend the Gin Dirty Martini!! & if you're indecisive about a drink having the bartender make you one with what you enjoy drinking was the choices we had after our first round. We truly appreciated how the ambiance was similar to what was originally here. Being a local in Vegas there's very few places that feel like they are truly for the community and we're happy to see and hear that White Whale does. This will definitely be one of our regular spots.

My friends I and found a new spot to chill and have some specialty cocktails. Evan made me my favorite drink an Negroni! One of the best tasting drinks I have ever had, the taste is just right. The service is always great, always can't better then this!

Love this place. Awesome vibes, amazing bartenders and fantastic cocktails. We hung out for hours, it's such a fun spot to chill. 10/10 will be a regular here.

Ryan recommended great drinks on the menu and was very friendly. The bar and lounge both had great setups and looked very appealing.

We first met Evan and Daniel while they were still at the Poodle Room at the Fontainebleau. Both are incredibly kind and talented at their craft. Loved all the drinks we had, and they'll even whip up a custom drink with your flavor preferences. I highly recommend checking this spot out - it's a cool intimate space with reasonably priced and creative drink concepts and a live DJ.

The ambiance and the people here are the best and so so positive and always makes me want to come back. Daniel and Jules are my favorite people here! The drinks are amazing and hand crafted to perfection. Bartenders keep such good conversations I love! My favorite drink is the rumble it's so refreshing for any taste bud. Please come and honestly anyone would meet your expectations

Vegas definitely has lots of options when it comes to drinking and entertainment. With that being said, I can't tell you enough about how amazing this new bar is that I recently stumbled upon. The overall look and feel of this place is amazing and the staff is top notch. I met Walter behind the bar and he whipped me up a special cocktail that hit the spot. Everyone was helpful and the place was popping on a Friday night. If you're in the downtown area, make sure to check out this new bar. Great drinks and the staff will make you feel like family with their hospitality.

Went for friends and family and was nothing short of impressed. The staff from the hostess to the bartenders to the GM/Owners were all incredibly hospitable and the room had a great vibe. Can't wait until they open up the other side of the bar. These guys replaced a legendary bar (DCR) and they did with style and encompassed the downtown vibe/scene. Will absolutely be back!
