Absolutely delicious meal. We opted for the 4 course tasting menu and everything was superb. Couldn’t fault the food, ambience or service. Couldn’t understand why it wasn’t busier! Go and support an innovative chef who cooks great food at reasonable prices. A wonderful experience- thank you!

Go here. Treat yourself. You won’t have any regrets. It will give you happy memories and a conversation topic for years to come. You may attempt to recreate some of the delightful dishes, you won’t be able to. You will need to return! Thank you chef!

Foodie Heaven ! Amazing experience. We tried the current seasonal menu which was an 8 course taster experience. The menu only gave a slight hint of each course. The food creations we tasted were unbelievable. This is fine dining at its best. Not cheap but definitely worth it for our special occasion. The service was impeccable, very professional and just the right level for this high end restaurant without being stuffy. It's a shame that more people weren't eating there on a Saturday night. If you love food elevated to another level give Whites a try.

We visited Saturday night so had the 9 course taster menu. The food was simply amazing! So good waiting for each course not knowing what would be coming next. The chef recommend a wonderful white wine to accompany our meal followed by a wonderful shiraz to finish. The two waitresses who served us were very polite and informative and are an asset to this restaurant. We all had an amazing time. Will certainly be visiting again.

We ate here for my birthday. It was superb. You pay for fabulous food and the whole experience of a 9 course tasting menu with accompanying wines. I would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed a surprise 4 Course taster menu and was so impressed can’t wait to return. This is not the place to go if you want quantity over quality. This is the place to go if you want a real dining experience that surprises you. I was a bit phased by ox cheek but tried it, loved it, finished every morsel. My wife can’t stand rhubarb but she again tried it, loved it and finished every morsel! If you enjoy trying something new this is great. If you’re a fussy eater would be best emailing prior to booking.

First experience of a tasting menu and enjoyed all 9 courses. As you would expect it's on the more expensive side for a dinner but it was worth every penny and a real treat. I would definitely recommend a cost for the foodies in the area!

Very nice restaurant . You have an option of a 4 course tasting menu or the 9 course menu. We chose the later for £50/-. This came with a very nice loaf of sesame seed bread and 2 complementary canapés. Then the meal begins with a 9 course dinner. See the photos. Each dish was a delight. Our waitress was very pleasant and explained each dish as she served us. Definitely a place to dine.

I love Whites unreservedly and have since the first time I went in and got into a long rambling discussion with the chef (John) about risotto. Mine hadn't been quite perfect and when I returned - something like 4 months later - and ordered the tasting menu he threw a risotto in that was as near perfection as I expect to eat in the Uk. Been back a few times since and it's up there in my top ten now alongside le Manoir. It's not cheap, but it is good and the wine list is developing in an interesting way now as well.
