Whitestone Lanes

Located straight off Highway I-678 coming off of exit 14 both from the East and West sides this bowling place is hard to miss. It is even commutable; like most places in Flushing, you can take a bus. Don’t let the dilapidated exterior fool you, inside is very well kempt. They try their best to update and somewhat modernize the bowling alley while keeping the nostalgic feelings of 50s-80s bowling. They even play classic pop while rotating in some more current music, giving a modern take to the classic bowling, yet not super embellishing the alley or doing what many trendy alleys do when they revamp by making the lighting too dark and neon. There are 48 working lanes and prices are really good. Staff upkeeps the place really well; with someone putting all the bowling balls back on the racks. It’s mostly self-service, just tell them your shoe size and you’re good to go. Most importantly: Cash only, but when we went we were able to utilize our groupon.

Whitestone Lanes is a very old-school bowling alley from yesteryear, and there’s a certain charm to that. The staff were friendly and did their best, though the place does feel understaffed at times. There’s no food service, but you’re allowed to order from outside, which is convenient. That said, this feedback is really for ownership, not the staff. The facility could benefit from a long-overdue renovation — especially the bathrooms and some visible leaks and general upkeep issues. Despite that, it remains a cost-effective option for bowling, especially as many newer places have become much more expensive. With some updates, this could be a great neighborhood bowling spot again. 🎳

This bowling alley only accepts cash, credit cards are not accepted, which I always wonder about whether they pay taxes. Bumpers are available for children ten and under. There are about 24 lanes, and the music adds a fun atmosphere. No outside food or beverages are allowed. The cost is $15.15 per person. The lanes are well-maintained, and the overall experience is enjoyable for families and friends. Parking is convenient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is right off of the highway by the Whitestone Bridge, and shopping center. That said, the facility is very outdated—we initially thought it was closed when we arrived. There is parking available outside.

I took my students bowling here a year ago and I'm super delayed on this post. My students had a great time! The staff was incredibly helpful and sweet. The bowling alley itself was clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning here!

A little dated but good if you want to bowl without the frills. Prices seemed high and they only accept cash. Look for off peak specials and maybe the unlimited bowling specials midweek. And shall I say it? .... groupon.

Super easy to get to and plenty of parking. They do have some great specials during the week and weekend, as long as it's not a holiday. The staff is super nice and accommodating. They were very courteous to our kids with special needs.

It was the best experience I ever had. When I came through the door they told me that the voucher that I got on Groupon was expired! They didn’t care that I just paid $30 and made me pay another $30! How nice! The two employees are the slowest people I’ve ever met I can’t believe that you could get paid so much for doing so little. When I asked to get the bumpers lifted because my kid doesn’t know how to bowl Without the bumpers, they told me he’s too old for the bumpers and that he just has to try hard harder. I can’t tell whether it’s the girl that has her legs propped up or the guy that’s on his phone 24 seven is what’s bothering me. Please never come here. I Was so confident that they wouldn’t notice me taking a photo of them because they never look off their phone. I attach the photo of the two most useless people I’ve ever met below. DONT COME HERE.

We decided to give this bowling alley a chance despite some mixed reviews, and honestly it wasn’t that bad. My husband and I had fun and enjoyed bowling together. However, it was really COLD inside. The heaters weren’t on, we had to keep our coats on, and it was actually warmer outside than inside. That part was disappointing, but overall the experience itself was still enjoyable.

I haven't been bowling in years and decided to visit with a Groupon purchase. It was a Monday around noon and we were the only ones there. The guy at the counter gave us shoes and assigned us a lane. I requested bumpers and a ramp for my 2 year old grandson. We started playing but the score wasn't registering. The man came and started it for us -- without my asking for help. The equipment worked and we had fun. I would come back again. They sell socks in a vending machine and had a CASH ONLY sign. The man said no more leagues because they may close and can't promise 36 weeks of games.

This place is old school. It was a cold winter day and it was quite cold inside the venue despite there being a space heater running. I did 2 hours of unlimited bowling for $25 each including the bowling shoes. I stopped when we reached game 3 but we still had time to spare. It is cash only. The balls could be in better condition but they did the job. I do not go bowling often so this was a nice place to practice. I do appreciate that they have a parking lot on site. I did not try any of their food or drinks.

Parking was easy and checking in to grab our lane and get bowling shoes was a breeze. Overall the place felt a bit outdated, but everything worked as it should. I always do poorly first game... I really need to start playing more often lol. There were a couple of times when the bowling ball didn't return, even though our time wasn't close to up, which was weird. While the games itself were cool and we had fun, there were a couple of less than desirable things to take note of, though. We had barely switched to our bowling shoes and gotten settled in our lanes before we noticed how explicit the music was. We were not the only party with youths... And the songs were dropping F bombs and all sorts of things... Not a good look! My sister beat me to it, but a music change was requested, and thankfully the staff obliged. They should be knowledgeable of who their current patrons are. We also noticed that when we returned our shoes and the staff went to spray the shoes, they didn't spray inside. They just did on top and on the sides... It's the inside that really needs disinfecting! Some folks forget socks (my niece included), so that's something to be mindful of for sure.

A bit on the outdated side with cracked balls that cut my hand up pretty bad. But counter guy gave me a band aid. service is fine but they do get a bit busy. Parking is not ideal since it fills up quickly. I would still recommend this place to gather with friends.

Old school local bowling alley that's kinda outdated but $25 bowling from 6-9pm (3 hour bowling) on weekdays is not too shabby! Be prepared to bring Cash$$ since they do not take credit cards. We were all hungry but sadly, snack bar was closed. Though the bar was open and they have a vending machine. Parking in the front was full but they also have plenty of parking in the back.

Decent sized parking lot, 10+ spaces. More than half of them were empty when we went on a Saturday at 6 PM. Priced at 2 games for $25 per person, including shoes. Inside is huge with two sides for bowling, and an open kitchen/cafe/arcade games in-between. They do a quick spray to deodorize the shoes when they give them to you. I assume they don't have half sizes since they just gave me a smaller size. Shoes are velcro (no laces) and are comfortable. Lanes are spaced out enough so random people are not right next to you. Not sure how much bowling usually costs, but it didn't seem worth it to me. Even if you take your time, two games will finish in less than an hour.

3h unlimited bowling per person for $25 on a Friday Night? I think so! Pretty old school. Clean bathrooms. Nice staff. And bar opens at 7:30p

Bowling spot in the area, a bit pricey at $9.50 per person per game and $6 shoe rental. Smelly inside when you walk in... nothing too much to write about here, average spot, not somewhere I'd recommend to others.

A Throwback to the 80's for me as time seemingly has stood still. I can clearly remember the same decor of the walls and the linoleum floors. It's like I traveled back in a time machine. The only thing new here unfortunately is the Covid 19 pandemic and the byproduct from that is the addition of partitions to enforce social distancing during game play. This is a no frills bowling alley that is as basic as basic can be. Do not expect anything exciting here unless you yourself bowl a perfect game. There is no multi colored light shows or loud pumping music, the bowling machines though functional are pretty beat up as are the the quality of the lanes, pins and balls. Due to the Covid pandemic temperature checks, contact tracing, face masks and signing a waiver will get you in. What I don't particularly like is they will make a copy of your ID and keep it with the waiver you signed. I was not keen on the idea of them making a copy of my driver's license but since I drove all the way here already I went with it. If you come with others without ID they will be allowed to bowl as long as you sign for them. If you refuse to sign the waiver you will not be permitted to play. Check the hours and call before coming here since they currently are not operating 24/7 during the pandemic. Cash is the only form of payment accepted at the moment.

OLD SCHOOL COOL! It's a shame they're planning on closing the beloved site of my godson's 8th birthday party in 2012. This of course was the party where my Aunt Theresa (RIP) -- at the young age of 92 and a week out of hip surgery -- was guided by a glass eye, arthritic wrist, and the holy light of God to bowl a triple strike. Ladies and gentlemen, make sure you hit this joint before it closes for good!

3 things about this place: 1. Everything is cash only which I didn't really like. You had to get cash in order to bowl and in order to do anything at this place. No cards whatsoever and that was a hassle and not even worth this place. 2. $25/person for 2 games of bowling. It is pricey just to bowl 2 games and I don't think it was worth the money after being to other bowling lanes from previous places. 3. The place was warm, no A/C, saw a little crack on the floors so in my opinion, it has been a while since they changed some of their floorings. Honestly, I would recommend going to other bowling alleys that looks better than this one. I was visiting Flushing, NY so it was last minute but if I came back to Flushing, I would go to a different spot than this one.

It's all about the company you keep! Haven't been bowling in more then a month of Sundays, probably closer to years worth of Sundays. So naturally when bowling was suggested as part of the hang out with my Bros, I wouldn't know where to begin and certainly would not have picked Whitestone Lanes. However, I had a fabulous time. Conveniently located right off the highway. The actual alley and both accompanying parking lots can use some updating but it's large, the employees were cool and the premises were clean. Since we only came to bowl, I guess the aesthetics are not that important. Three people playing two games @ 11pm on a Saturday night was $64.50 ($13.50/shoe rental $51/2 games for 3ppl). I couldn't tell you if that is good, bad or spot on but its what we paid. Everything went well and we all had a great time. I appreciated the fact that they had adult balls that were lighter and didn't have children sized finger wholes and they had some new shoes in rotation. Of course I lost both games even though we were tied for 2nd place in the first, I had a ball doing it. Just A Note CASH (only) is KING... We came here to bowl. Nothing really special about it, but they had lanes. They're a bit pricey for like $10 a game cash. If you have your own shoes, bring them so you don't have to rent their shoes. I don't know why they had to pack us all in on one side if they're social distancing, but there were dividers between the groups.

This bowling alley is old school Queens and I love it. It's the only bowling alley that I know that's open 24/7. The prices are cheap & you get a bang for your buck. Shoe rentals are $4.50 and on the weekend they have an unlimited bowling special from 8am-noon. My friends and I decided to meet up for a few friendly games on a Sunday morning and did not have to wait for a lane once we arrived. We arrived during the unlimited bowling time so it was pretty packed but I believe there were lots of bowling league teams practicing (at this time). One of the league members to our left I guess got pissed off at one of my friends because my friend didn't let the league member bowl first (2 lanes down mind you) and came over and gave us a speech about it, I particularly enjoyed the league member stating how he's a bowler so he knows what he's talking about. My friends and I were there to have fun not be involved in bowling politics so we shrugged it off and kept having fun. So just a heads up that you may be surrounded by serious bowlers who aren't so polite during the unlimited bowling period. I suggest come prepared to have fun and be in an old school bowling environment. Also, the pit turnaround time was a bit slow but when your having fun it's not that bad. I believe food is served near the bar area but didn't see anyone ordering because it was kind of early. I was able to get a cup of coffee while I bowled. I definitely will be back in the next few weeks to take advantage of the unlimited bowling again.

Dont waste your money here. $70 for 3 games and two rental shoes on a weekend. The employees have no soul or pep in their step and could care less to be there. One employee had a attitude if you request something as simple as a lane change. Everything is cash only there as well. The house balls are cracked, bowling shoes ripped, the lanes are falling apart, pins can barely re rack themselves. The computer doesn't blow air to dry hands. The establishment is a trash can. #ghettobowling If I'm paying premium for a bowling experience, my balls and shoes better be spit shined. If you don't mind taking the extra 15 min drive, you're better off going to Long Island to get good family fun and better quality bowling for half the price. Herrill Lanes is my go to. I gave Whitestone a chance at redemption, but they came up short, as expected...

I remember having had an amazing time bowling in middle school for a school trip so I came back here a decade later expecting to relive those feelings. Being an adult made me realize that this place isn't so wonderful. Price and service: Overpriced arcade, a dollar a play when the movie theater that's 5 mins away has way bigger and better machines for same price., should be 50 cents a play for the claw machine..prices are.around average cost of rental shoes and bowling. Food and vending machine... forget about it ,,eat before coming please unless you are fine throwing money away. The shooting game doesnt even work, I tried reloading my gun and it takes me like 4 pulls to get it off almost every time resulting in me dying after playing about 5 or 6 minutes. The claw machine on the right doesn't work too, wasted two dollars as the claw would not move. The bowling balls legit are the same ones from 11 years ago, scratched up and old. I highly recommend skip this place , go somewhere else for a fun time. Waste of money.

This bowling alley has been around for ages! I used to come all the time as a child but haven't came in a while so when I decided to go bowling with my friends, I was surprised to see that nothing has changed. It's still pretty old and they don't take credit cards. You can also just tell by the screens how old the place is but it still does the job of having some bowling fun! It's also great that it's open 24/7.

Absolutely worse place I have ever been DO NOT GO HERE THERE ARE PLENTY OF BETTER BOWLING ALLEYS .very EXPENSIVE .very rude and disrespectful .throwing out curses like a sailor around little kids .smells terrible and that's before you go bowling if you are like me and take bowling even just a tiny bit seriously the lanes are terrible absolutely zero oil and anyone who curves a ball knows how bad that is You can't bowl to save your life It's impossible I have gone there 2 times hoping it would change but man was I wrong it's was the same both times TRUST ME DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I PROMISE YOU THERE IS A BETTER BOWLING PLACE SOMEWHERE

Haven't been to Whitestone Lanes for years. The bowling alley is dated, but for $20/pp unlimited games 8am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays, you can't beat that!! We had fun recently, and will come back again if we want to throw some balls.

One star because you have to give 1!!! Very unprofessional staff! The kitchen staff treats people very badly! The place is dirty. The woman who runs the kitchen is extremely disrespectful and unorganized! Screaming at a teacher In front of children with autism over a mistake she made! Not inclusive to students with special needs and dietary needs! Extremely disgusted at her behavior toward patrons of this establishment especially the children with special needs, African American students and teachers. She was very nice to the non minority general education school that was there!

The staff at this establishment were very unprofessional and lazy. They instructed our school of students with disabilities to get their own bowling balls from a separate area from the actual bowling lanes. Next, when the students were done bowling in which they had a great time doing so. The gentlemen who worked there then made a scene stating the students had to carry the bowling balls from the lanes back to the separate area where they were stored 25-30 feet away. In addition the female manager, who also cooks the food with no hair net, apron or gloves was wildly disrespectful. Yelling at one of the teachers about an error that was the cook's fault. This place is not friendly or embracing to the special needs population. In all, the hospitality of Whitestone Lanes staff literally SUCKS!! Will never go there again!

Not sure how much this place costs because I've only been here with large groups on school trips with my class. Not the cleanest place. I have seen plenty of waterbugs and cockroaches here. Also kind of old and dingy. Their food is good. Bathrooms are clean and the place is large.

So I came on a school trip with special needs students and staff was rude and disrespectful they called us rude because the kids were eating the food provided by the school. They made sure they pointed out that there was signs that stated "No outside food" but being that this was a different population we didn't think it would have been such a huge issue. And we (the adults) still ordered from the establishment but they were still unprofessional in their approach. Then they said we had to put balls back in the place when staff was standing around doing nothing. Never have I been to a bowling place and was asked to put balls back. And there is not no sign about putting ball back. If I can give zero stars I would have.

It was my first time bowling. The shoe rentals were really worn and dirty. They ask for one of your shoes to keep in the slot of the rental space and so you have to keep track of the other shoe on your own. The place looks run down and the staff is far from friendly. The only thing they have going for them is cheap prices.

Great place to go bowling on a weeknight. There's always a Groupon deal but there's no need when they have this 19.99 special night deal mon-thurs from 10pm-2am which is all you can bowl. Pros: - Inexpensive with special deal. - Friendly staff - Good snacks from the kitchen - Janitor always cleaning - 24/7 - Lots of parking space Cons: - Some lanes have a dent - Didn't see the staff clean shoes after taking it back - Fries came cold :( Overall, I continue to visit when I'm in the area and highly recommended!

I guess I would have to make it really clear - bowling facility wise, this place was decent; however it did not apply to its associated food service. They have had some good deals during weekdays, and even during weekends. 20 bucks pp for two sets of games, pretty good bargains! Wish they could serve some hot dishes at the bar just to pair it up...

So Where Do We Start. My BF & I Usually Bowl 2 Times A Week However It's A Saturday Night & Our Regular Alley "Bowerland Conner Street BX, NY) Had A Huge Waiting Time. So We Decided To Take The Short Drive Across The Bridge To A Highly Reputable Alley. After Parking We Walked Around Front To See A Line. Okay It's Saturday They Have More Lanes Then Our Original Spot So We Waited After We Noticed They We're Letting In A Good Amount Of Ppl At One Time. We Waited On Line For An Hour & A Half. Upon Entry You had To Pay Cash. Okay No Problem. Was Told It Was $25 Per Person. After Paying We Were Told To Walk To The Counter & Get Our Shoes Which We Have Our Own Balls & Shoes. So We Walked To The The Counter To Get Our Lane. Once Given The Lane We Were Refunded Back $10. Walking To Our Lane There was A Good 7 Ppl Sitting There. When Then Walked Back & Informed Them That Ppl Were Sitting There When We We're Told They Were Done. After Informing The Ppl That We We're Bowling There They Said Okay But Never Moved. Okay So Again At Our Original Lanes Were Given a Pen And Paper To Write Shoes Sizes Our Names & The Amount Of Games We Will Be Playing. Due To COVID They Put It In & You May Use The Computer To Take Selfie For The Selfie Board & Start The Next Game. Other Than That You Pretty Much Just Bowl. There Was No Type Of SOCIAL DISTANCING What So Ever. Ever Lane Was Used. Where As Bowlerland & Gun Post Lanes Every Other Lane Is Used. No Two Different Parties Are Placed As Joint Lanes. While We We're Putting On Our Shoes We Looked Around & Realized The Area Was Not Cleaned Sanitized Or Anything After The Ppl Before Us Left. There Was Beer Bottles Everywhere. The Lanes Were Very Old. Literally Had Cracks In Them As Well As Very Dry. It Was 11:15 When We Got In The Bar Was Already Closed When We Tried To Enter. Yet They Stayed Open To 1 Am. We Had 2 Games & Ended Up Leaving Before The First Was Even Up. As Much As We Love To Bowl It Was The Worst Experience We've Ever Had In An Alley. They Need To Make Some Major Adjustments.

Went here I on Whim with one friend and it was great the cost of a game and shoe was about $20 or so . Was really cute can tell that they was remodeling on the inside and a lot more fun than expected I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to do in the area or a cute date night they have really good hours they are accommodating and sweet and they do offer food and drinks but I didn't partake in any of those just played some lanes of bowling and if you have your own shoes even better and you can just rent the lane per game

I came here with my clients for a night of fun. We came in a Friday night around 7pm. It wasn't as packed but when we left around 8:30 it started getting there. The place was clean and kept for the most part. They have a food section if you're hungry. The staff here were ok. Two of the staff members were busy on their phones the whole time instead of working. Literally in their phone so much that if a bowling ball hit them, they wouldn't even know. I don't even remember there being any music. This place is great for families or if you just simply feel like doing a quick session of bowling. I wouldn't go here on a date or anything. It's not the place.

It really pains me to write this review cause this is where I practically learned to bowl. But after a recent visit to WhiteStone, I had to shake my head. So I'm guessin' the establishment has had some issues with bowler/customer safety in the past. I'm thinking it must have been a real crazy fight or brawl 'cause you'll have to go through security to enter on the weekends. Security consist of one dude funneling bowlers through the front entrance. Dudes expect to get patted down; Ladies prepare to have your bags checked. WhiteStone also wants to make sure there's absolutely no loitering or people watching other people bowl. So yeah, at the same security checkpoint you enter at, you'll have to purchase your shoe rental and one game or else entry is denied. Hand security dude your $12 and he'll give you a voucher to be exchanged at the booth for your bowling shoes and your lane assignment. You can always add more games if you like. They really gota invest some money back into the place. The house balls are all damaged (smile); I promise you won't be able to find a bowling ball in the place without a hundred dings or a huge scar on it's surface. Don't be surprised if you see at least one or two destroyed bowling pins missing a chunk of wood being set up in your lane. Don't expect the house lights to get low or having glowing lanes. This is not the place. They'll throw on a top 40 urban mix which is kina cool. Lane 10 was especially impressive on my visit, it shut down twice on us during our first game and the computer didn't register the right score on three different occasions; the scorer's table damn near fell apart from the wear & tear and the ten pounds of pressure you have to apply to each button to enter your name. No Bueno! I'm pretty sure you get the picture by now. The bar and and the food is blah; Deep fried Chicken fingers and French fries. The bar had descent prices on beer and other mixed drinks. The plus side. All you can bowl on Monday's and Tuesday's for $20 (i think) and the lanes are wide. Not those skinny lanes at places like Strike or Bowlmor. I'm pretty sure I'm gona still bowl here somewhat regularly but WhiteStone really needs to step their game up!

After my performance last weekend, I was ready to show off my strong pimp hand and crush my competition in open bowling. Although I have bowled at Whitestone Lanes for over seven years, it was a while since I've returned (12 months can be a lifetime, to the man who talks through the three holes of his ball). Friday night after dinner, my cousins and I came to hold our annual family bowling competition (or lack thereof) and have a good time (beers sponsored by yours truly). Since parking in the front is quickly occupied, we always head towards the back. Sometimes on a busy night, cars double park or invent new parking spots: _____ _____ _____ | x | x | _____ _____ | x | x | _____ _____ | x | x | _____ Legend ____ ____ - this is the appropriate parking spot, since you see the yellow paint | x | - the new, abstract, made up parking spot because it's 'sofa king' popular to bowl these days Come prepared with loot. Cash is king. There's an ATM machine in the alley so there's no excuse for whining for a fee to use the machine. It was $77 for five merry keglers at two games each and three out of the five needed shoes. "The Strike Zone" aka the bar, is small, but offers inexpensive bottle beers. I would drop $22 for 5 Coors Lites and 1 Heineken. Sh-t we paid for at least five rounds. At least I voraciously ate all of the chips (certainly my money's worth) I could while waiting for the bartender to serve them. It's a shame there is nothing on tap. The snack bar, although an eyesore, is a separate entity and was helpful in my time of need. We ordered big fries for $4.50 and enjoyed them. They were better (thin cut and fresh out the deep fryer) than the Mickey D's next door. Believe it! The lane conditions were not forgiving. DRY! *hack* CHALK! *cough* As a right hander, I could start at board 35, throw it out wide, and it would still skid, flip and hit the 7 pin on the backend. Although one of my cousins previously hurt himself (imagine a non-runner/baskeball player claiming plantar fasciitis) and ended up squandering money playing video games most of the night, we bowled and collectively had a good time. A poor carpenter blames his tools. I know, I did not perform well with a 111 and 171. Yet, I am still victorious at 12:30 AM! The Monday night all you can bowl, from 10 PM to 3 AM is now $17 per person. IFHTP 3+

I came here over the weekend for an impromptu birthday gathering and opportunity to have fun times with some of my Yelper friends. Whitestone is actually exactly what I was looking for -- an affordable, suburban-type, low frills bowling alley, where you can kick it with peeps, family or whoever without feeling like it's a big night on the town or that you're going to break the bank (I'm talking to you, Bowlmor and Lucky Strike). We found a great Groupon which included one game, shoe rental and a month VIP card ($5 games for the next month) for two for $12. Given the low price, most of my party decided to participate. This location also has a family friendly birthday party room (we had some fun in there) and two fully stocked bars. The balls are a motley crew; some are very worn and others look like they've only been hitting the lanes this year. Whitestone plays top 40 music. The staff isn't exactly friendly, but I have a feeling they have to put up with a lot of nonsense and redundant questions. Good times.

I gave it five stars for not being pretentious! I came here with my fiance to bowl and BOWL we did! We had a great time and the best part its open 24/7! I didn't come for the food or the ambience. Just to bowl! Goodbye Bowl or Lanes!

Had a great experien6 in this place with friends, place was a bit crowded but after getting a number to wait we got called in less than 10 minutes. They only accept cash no credit cards. Place has a bar a bit outdated. The frinks were pricey $12 for a small plastic cup margarita. The bar area has couches and a big flat screen tv for sports that was pretty cool. It has 2 sides huge on the lanes very spacious, bathrooms were clean. They had machines to play racing games the walking dead Pac man and flappy birds, that was pretty cool. They had a fast food area like burgers, union rings, mozerall sticks, and fries section. I never had mozzarella sticks like these full of cheese they were delicious. The staff was very friendly. One of my home girls had spill her drink that was half way on the counter, and the guy that was there got her a new one for free that was nice :] Place has free parking 2 different parking area overall great place to come and have some fun :]

I did come here earlier today around 2-3pm. I did purchase a living social deal that gave me 10 games and 6 months of VIP access. They were very nice in explaining my VIP access. For regular price of a VIP, its $12 a month and it'll give you $3 a game shoe rentals are free. I have my own bowling ball and shoes. But it's pretty nice for people that don't have their own shoes. The bowling alley feels a little outdated compared to jib lanes. Prices are listed on their website. Very empty during the day but at night time business really picks up. You might want to make reservations otherwise you might have to wait a long time. I like that the bowling alley has it's own parking lot both in the front and the back of the bowling alley. Ample room for cars and convenient located neither the highway. Not a great location though if you don't drive.

This place is NOT Lucky Strike ... it's not even Chelsea Piers. But you come here to roll some balls down a lane with the end goal of hitting some pins. And that is what you shall do! Just don't expect anything more. Other things to note: - 3 shoe rentals + 2 games = $58. UM.... CASH ONLY. - Limited parking in the front. More parking in the back (don't worry, there's a back door) - Unlimited games on Sat/Sun from 8am to 12pm. - Food is subpar, but the vending machines are always well stocked!

I have been here a few times with friends, and coworkers... the experience wasn't bad.. but its a little annoying that this place doesn't doesn't take cards only cash.. and not for nothing it could use a small renovation/upgrade (new games, new balls etc... Be the place you want people to come to.

My fiance's nephew wanted us to take him to bowling one weekend afternoon so we did. The parking lot had a sufficient amount of space for parking. When we entered into the bowling alley, it felt very old inside. The bowling shoes felt very dirty, but it served it's purpose. It was super crowded since we went on a Saturday afternoon, but we were able to play a fun game. We played one game, but it was extremely fun. The women restroom felt okay, but very out of date in terms of decor. Overall, I would come back to Whitestone Lanes since it's one of the few bowling alleys that are left. There's only one left in Brooklyn now. I would probably want to bring my own shoes in the future, since I didn't see the staff clean the shoes we gave back to them after our game ended. I would love to come back again with friends and have a bowling night for sure.

We were contemplating having my son's birthday party here but it's been taken off the list. Today a class was turned away. It was a special needs class. The school was given reasons on why they couldn't come today. They seemed like valid reasons. But then this transpired: Please share. (I did not write the below. It was on FB from one of the staff members from the school involved) I hope I'll have all your support in boycotting this sorry excuse of a business. It is with sadness in my heart I write this to you. Dear 811 Family, We would like everyone to come together and join us in support to boycott White Stone Lanes. They have treated us unfairly on numerous occasions. We would like to tell you about the most recent situation. On March 7th we received a call to rescheduled our trip on March 21st due to maintenance on the ceiling at the bowling alley. One of our colleagues still attended on March 21st because they never received a call to reschedule. When they called to confirm on the day; White Stone Bowling Alley thought they were from another school and said it was ok to come. When White Stone Bowling Alley found out the class was from 811 White Stone Bowling Alley then said, there is a problem with the bathrooms and to not attend. Our Colleague went, to witness the bowling alley full of 250 general education students. We have spoken to other teachers and heard stories, where each teacher's class is charged a different price and we have even heard a teacher was given an excuse to be charged for accessibility to use a wheel chair ramp and bumpers. D75 has come such a long way to have a company, treat students with disabilities as such. This company does not support the inclusion of our students. Please feel free to spread the word to your class, families and other DOE teachers.

Okay so I used to come here when I was a child a lot. I had a lot of birthday parties here and I loved it. But as time went on the place got worse. It's very ghetto and dirty. The area is pretty bad as well. There have been shootings inside and outside this place. I like that it's 24/7 but I wouldn't ever walk in there or go around that area late night anyway. If you are going to go I'd say go early.

Place was very outdated. Not clean. The guy who gave us our shoes was on the phone all the time. He was talking so loud we can hear him from our spot. The staff were not nice. Don't buy food there their containers were crAzy filthy. There's vending machine for snacks. Restroom was also dirty. Go somewhere else. The A/C wasn't good at all.... it was really warm I think it wasn't on. The mechanism getting the pins were super slow and the overhead monitor was not great at all. There's parking that's the only good thing. It's 24 hours but I won't go there never again.
