NYC Food and Grocery Delivery: List of Catering Company Menus During Coronavirus | Eater NY

"I appreciate that Purslane is an ethically conscious, zero-waste operation now shipping a weekly CSA box and prepared family meals; you can order a la carte prepared food on Caviar or subscribe for larger provisions, and it's part of the same company that owns June Wine Bar, Rucola, and Rhodora." - Leah Rosenzweig

NYC Food Delivery and Coronavirus: Catering Companies Pivot to Bulk Meals and Provisions | Eater NY

"Like several other caterers, Purslane has retooled its menus away from rustic family‑style platters and colorful hors d’oeuvres toward soups, meatloaf, rotisserie chickens, and lasagna that are better suited for reheating at home." - Leah Rosenzweig

Google
We love visiting this nursery to see all the unique plans they have. Well, they have a good selection of indoor plants, the big drop for this particular location is large landscaping plants. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and help you to pick the right landscape plants for your Yard based on your watering system and particular lighting. They also sell handmade pottery and have a few friendly cats hanging around. It’s a fun place to visit on a weekend and pick up a few new plants.

Google
Yulia and Kim that we have worked with was awesome. Actually everybody that we always meet, and greet with their have been fabulous. We can’t wait to get the new shrubs and one tree that we ordered. It’s going to transform our yard. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Google
Last year we purchased blackberry bushes and a lemon tree and a pomegranate bush, and a mandarin tree from the nursery. They were so helpful in making the choices. Today I met with them again for additional advice. They have been so helpful in guiding us to nurture these plants.

Google
The best there is!! Very family friendly and community supportive. We have purchased our community garden plants and supplies for many years. Thank you Whitfil !!!

Google
I love coming to this nursery over the weekend with a cup of coffee, browsing around beautiful lush plants and picking up new plants for my garden. They always have very healthy starter plants as well as a whole section of indoor plants in a separate area. The indoor plant area is in a separate shed and is inhabited by a couple of lovely cats as well as beautiful parrots who are always fun to interact with. They also have peacocks in the back nursery area. The selection of outdoor yard plants here this is amazing and I was able to landscape my backyard and front yard with fully mature Palm varieties acquired from this nursery. The staff is super helpful and the plants themselves are always healthy. I highly recommend this nursery if you are a plant lover.

Google
What a magical place this was! I am not lying when I say that I could get lost here for hours. They had great customer service and a great selection of everything from plants to supplies. The greenhouse was amazing and had tons of amazing plants, even some rare ones too! I highly recommend checking this place out if you love plants!!

Google
Thought was cute until I saw the parrot picking at its feathers. Reported it to arizona humane society, hope something gets done because that’s disappointing.

Isa B.

Google
Why do they have birds? If they cannot take care of them? I have parrots and I can say that these poor birds are very stressed, they are not social and they are there in the cage inside the humidity for how long? saw some previous images and for now they no longer have feathers and that means they are very unhappy. Many people in there and not body do nothing

Yelp
Updated review: just as great as before! I love being at this nursery and could spend hours here. Decided to purchase a poinsettia from here rather than the big box store. There is always so much to see here and during December, the feel of the holidays/season is in full display. If you need a table arrangement made for you, there's a person (I swear who looked a little like Santa Claus--was that a dream?) who was busy making them. The Christmas cacti were so beautiful. I wanted to buy one since my really old one at home decided not to bloom this year! If you need Christmas or holiday spirit and live close by, you should visit! It's a beautiful place.

Yelp
I didn't get her name but she's the granddaughter of the Whitfill's. She was so helpful! I wanted plants to attract hummingbirds and she helped me decide which ones would work best for my yard. Now it's up to the hummingbirds ***Update! The very next day I had hummingbirds in my yard and I've seen them everyday since!! Obviously she knows her stuff, thank you Whitfill nursery!!

Yelp
Holy moly, this place is massive. I had no idea what I was walking into. I came by just looking for some basic indoor houseplants, assuming there'd be a small section I could browse through quickly. But wow... I don't think I even covered a fraction of the space. This is definitely a "field trip" kind of place, somewhere you plan for, carve out time, bring water, wear comfy shoes, maybe pack a snack. It's that big. They did come by and ask if I needed help (which was nice!), and I automatically said I was just cruising through but in reality, I should've asked where the houseplants were. I think I was just too overwhelmed by how much there was to see. And honestly, I had the thought that even if I found something, I couldn't leave it in the car, it's way too hot right now to safely keep any plants in there. So, yeah. I'll absolutely be back, but next time I'm coming prepared with time, questions, a friend and a plan.

Yelp
Really large nursery , nice enough people working . Depending on the day . I got a beautiful pot for 40 bucks for whine a plant and love it . Maybe a tad higher on the prices but great selection . :)

Yelp
On the recommendation of a friend, I visited Whitfill's in North Phoenix about two weeks ago. I have been on a hunt for some nice-looking pots. Most places I had been to had just a few colors (white, blue, terracotta), but as I drove by last week, I saw an array of colorful pots. Taking that friend's advice, I went back and was not disappointed. I purchased three pots, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Bonus points for their ability to deliver, which I have discovered is not commonplace. Frank walked the pot area with me and tagged everything for delivery. Knowing they soon would be delivering my pots, I thought now was the time to purchase the shade tree I have been wanting. So, last week I went back to Whitfill's. Billy took me around the lot and gave me some great advice. After talking with him, I decided against my original plan and went with a different tree. Aside from what appears to be a genuine willingness to help their customers, they appear to be a full-service nursery, as when they deliver everything, they are going to plant the tree and the one vine I purchased. Knowing it will be done right and that they stand behind their product/work is reassuring. Today, the pots, vine, and tree were delivered and planted. The crew could not have been more helpful. They were thorough, placed everything where I wanted them, and explained the care for my tree. And, they cleaned everything up! They have an incredible selection of flowers, potted plants, vegetables, herbs, and succulents. They appear to have it all, plus everything you need to plant and maintain your garden. I have not had great luck in the past with a number of nurseries, but I think I have found a winner! And, based on the number of people that were there today, so have others.

Yelp
Best place to get your starter veggies. Love going here with my grandkids and the staff is always super friendly and helpful

Yelp
I visited the nursery to find house plants to replace some that didn't make it. :-/ The grounds are filled with outdoor plants, and there's a greenhouse filled with house plants. And to my surprise, Ms. Rebecca Whitfill extended an invitation to tour the nursery!! Oh boy, was I excited! We hopped into a golf cart, and off we went. She showed me a variety of trees and landscaping needs. Ms. Rebecca also shared the history of the nursery. What a treat! So adorable and friendly. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I left with plenty of plants, tips, and memories! Accessible entrance.

Yelp
Excellent nursery with excellent prices. They have herbs, veggies, fruit trees, indoor plants, outdoor plants, shrubs, flowers, vines, etc. They have it all. It's a huge nursery. If you need help, there is staff on hand. I bought a 1 gallon Star Jasmine for $18, mind you it's 4ft tall! It's like a little tree. Impressive pricing. They also have pots, mulch, glass hummingbird feeders (bought one!) among other things. But don't take my word for it, come and have a look! They have their own parking lot which is nice so you don't have to worry about parking.
google avatar

Yelp
I really like this nursery. It's been a tradition for a several years to get a Christmas tree here. They have a free hot chocolate, popcorn, candy canes and cookies to enjoy while selecting your tree. However, this year the cheapest tree started at $149. Last year I remember trees starting at $119. I understand some years trees go up in price due to environmental conditions. However, the next day I was at Lowe's and saw a very equivalent fresh trees for less than $100. I really like the Christmas tree buying experience at Whitfill. Yet, next Christmas I will look at Lowe's first.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Truthfully, I will tell you I grew up and shopped at Baker's on 40th st for years. Those of you who shopped there know they had great customer service. I don't find that at Whitfill. They will help you to a certain degree but not much more than that. I have never had much luck with the plants I buy there. So, I just go elsewhere.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Whitfill is a LONG time Phoenix family nursery. Their selection and knowledgeable staff make this a reliable place to fill your garden, decorate for Christmas, and plant a tree that will be a lifetime addition to your home. I bought a Chinese Pastiche for my kids house today. It will be shading their house for the next two generations. Their pricing is on the high side, but your are paying for good quality and service here at Whitfill
google avatar

Terry S.

Yelp
great trees, great staff, even greater value for the money spent. I highly recommend Paul at Witfill Nursey to guide you towards your planting goals!!

Yelp
My brother and sister in law were on the hunt for a Christmas tree and wanted to shop more locally (and not in a parking lot). My kids and I were happy to tag along since we are regretfully part of the artificial tree club. Whitfill was a wonderful experience! There was hot cocoa and popcorn to snack on while wondering through fresh wreaths, poinsettias, centerpieces, and lots of really beautiful trees. The selection was incredible. The trees were available in all sizes (height and width) to fit any sized space. They also smelled amazing. Being from the Pacific Northwest but having lived here the last 20+ years, I always love a walk through the aromatic trees. It must be even more magical at night with all the lights on. Once you pick a tree, someone will help you with a cart and take the stand off. We watched them chainsaw off the bottoms of the trunk to make them nice and level and then take them out to people's car. All the employees we interacted with delightful. The woman giving out the LED candy canes was a doll. She did tell my boys not to fight each other with them but, let's be honest, they could resist. Not her fault. I think every kid I saw jabbed someone else with one of those things. They are meant to spike into the ground or in a yard, but it was too tempting for kids not to use it like a weapon. I think getting them in the daytime made them feel more toy like because they didn't light up (also didn't come with batteries). The part that actually bothered me was that people who received the candy canes just took the tags off and left them all over the ground. Why ruin such a beautiful place when there are trash cans all around? We also walked the rest of the property and saw the parrots and peacocks. The greenhouse felt like a jungle and the kids really got a kick out of the raptor in the tall plants. Will definitely be recommending to anyone looking for a Christmas tree, holiday decorations, or all my green thumbs friends all year long.

Yelp
If you need anything for your yard or garden you can very probably get it here. They have an excellent selection of trees, especially mature citrus trees. If you need help getting around, you can get a ride on a golf cart. The prices seem quite reasonable but I'm not an expert on tree prices. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Very knowledgeable, kind, and caring staff. They really know their stuff and have great product.

Yelp
Wow, fantastic experience at this nursery. Strongly recommend here versus Moon Valley. Incredibly knowledgeable staff, very friendly and helpful and fair pricing versus outrageous Moon Valley.

Yelp
Whitfill's, a place to learn, grow and find that lifelong enjoyment of being connected to the world we live in by spending more time in the garden! Being longtime radio listener's of The Whitfill Garden Show, Sat & Sun 7 - 9 am, we went to Whitfill's in February to ask Brian for some advice on why the lemons on our tree looked so wrinkled and were barely eatable? The problem was that the whole tree went to rootstock. The solution was to cut it down to just a stump and patiently wait and turn it into a cocktail tree using a grafting technique called T- Budding. In late April, Brian graciously taught me and many others this technique and sent all of us home with fresh branches to try our luck with. It's now early June and I'm Happy to say that with Brian's direction, that luck has now turned into an exciting new skill! Brian talks very proudly of his Grandfather who has created a cocktail tree with 22 varieties of fruit on it which he used to cook with. I recently asked Brian if he could provide me with a few more branches to keep going with and he generously surprised me with twice as many varieties to continue with. I just have to say Thank You Brian for sharing with me today the knowledge and enthusiasm passed down from your Grandfather!! It's truly our pleasure to know you and visit your fine nurseries as we turn our house of three years into our Dream Home! Houseplants, Plum, Peach, Apricot, advice on newly seeded Bermuda grass, rose's, proper watering and fertilizing, tools, and supplies adds up to a lot of work. We appreciate All that You and Your Team provide. Thank You for making it so much fun! Sincerely, Frank & Alexandra

Yelp
I trekked over here from the west valley, because where are all the (read ANY) nurseries on that side of town?!?! Anywho, I live in a cold state and my parents live here. Over their almost 20 years of living here, I have developed a love of cacti and succulents, and it is a rare trip that I don't come home with either a plant or some Talavera pottery, or both! I was looking specifically for a Joshua tree to experiment with at home (cold hardiness). I needed it to be budget friendly and to be able to fit in my car. Whitfill's unfortunately, had neither, but a very nice man took the time to show me an alternative plant that was seemingly more cold hardy, and was actually the right size. Sadly, it wasn't within the parameters of my "testing budget". I did see quite a few other plants that piqued my interest, but I only had so much room in my car, so sadly (I'm being sarcastic here), I'll have to come back on another trip to Phoenix. The variety of not only species, but sizes of the plants was incredible, with some that I had never even heard of, and some that I was super envious of, knowing my plants at home will never get that big. 6/2023

Richard S.

Yelp
Despite the identifier in our Yelp account, we live in Phoenix. We heard the radio show for Whitfill and after a few episodes decided to reach out to hire them for extensive landscape design and gardening assistance as we remodel our home. We could scarcely reach anyone by phone, they practically never called back, and nobody took an interest in our project enough to respond to us. Today, when I tried to visit their website, it is locked down as "Suspended." This experience gives us the feeling that Whitfill is about to go out of business and tried funding a radio show to save itself. Sad, because the radio show is so interesting.

Yelp
Great inventory of plants, trees, herbs, etc Helpful staff and everything you need to get your garden growing.

Yelp
One of my favorite nurseries in the Valley. Family owned and has been around for YEARS!! The staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable. They don't make fun of you or belittle you when you ask those "dumb questions, like "what can survive in full sun with no water!" haha The property is huge, so even if running in for one thing be sure to make time to walk around and enjoy it all. From the plants, planters, trees, there are also birds to enjoy! Plenty of seeds, garden trinkets, soil, etc as well! The pricing is great and I just feel better paying a local family based business than spending money at a big box store. Also, they do have a hand washing station for everyone to use - along with sanitizer.
google avatar

Cindy M.

Yelp
For the 3rd year in a row we have found the perfect Tree! Their Trees are fresh and beautiful, lasting the entire Season. The delivery is efficient. Overall, the quintessential holiday experience.

Margaret M.

Yelp
Made original contact in November 2024. Acknowledging Christmas heavy workload, waiting until January for them to follow-up. Left repeated telephone messages with no call back. Extremely disappointed and will not use in the future nor will recommend to others. A real shame given their history.

Yelp
Do you like plants? Don't go to Whitfill as an adventure on a random Sunday. It would be like being a dog-lover and going to the pound "just to see what's over there." You end up coming home with a new dog (or two new 8-year-old Kumquat trees, in our case). My husband unfortunately has a new vice, and it's plants. He keeps secretly going to Whitfill Nursery and coming home with new plants. I'm not sure if he's going there with any specific ideas in mind, but our backyard is becoming a green paradise. We now own three kumquat trees, a full garden, a Costco rolling planter box filled with more garden plants, and I'm already hearing discussions about removing some oleanders to add some more Whitfill plants. Is any of this necessary? No. No, it's not. Is it pleasant? Okay, maybe. Anyway, the staff at Whitfill were great; we used their delivery and planting service last time too, and the team that showed up was very helpful in some watering tips and ways to improve our wine barrel planter boxes. We even met the owner, who introduced us to our two newest Kumquat acquisitions (haven't named them quite yet). Great place to get some new trees or vegetables for your garden.

Ponch E.

Yelp
Lying service! Do not buy from here. Started with a simple purchase of planting a tree quoted $120 for everything. Got a call back a few minutes later doubling the price. The girl seemed agitated and seemed like she didn't want the sale. Poor customer service!

Willie C.

Yelp
I recently spent $100.00 on three plants. A month later I find the plants were mislabeled. I called and spoke to a pleasant man who said take a cutting and bring it in to talk with one of the managers. I did just that and the blond lady with glasses seemed like she could care less about my issue. She had someone walk me down to where the plants were as she seemed to not believe me. Sure enough there were several other plants still available and he acknowledged they were clearly mislabeled. When I go back to talk to her she seemed to just shrug it off. Looked at me straight in the face and said you can dig them up and bring them back. There was no empathy, apology, and ZERO customer service skills. In an age where small business competes with big box business, it amazes me someone would take so little pride in the service they offer.
google avatar

Norah B.

Yelp
Beautiful nursery. A little pricy but the staff are super nice and very helpful. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Lea C.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me this long to discover this place! I will never purchase another plant from Home Depot again (how bad is that anyway?) It's like a garden destination- beautiful trees, flowers (indoor and out), bedding flowers; seed variety like you wouldn't believe and plenty of benches around to just sit and enjoy this place. There is a 'home' good building as well as anything you'd ever need in your garden. They have gorgeous pottery as well as unique artwork for your yard. There were plenty of staff roaming around to help as well as they were super friendly. The parrots were gorgeous as well! Prices were very reasonable too- this is our new 'go to' for anything 'green' related.
google avatar

Rhonda G.

Yelp
My Landscaper of a huge property just suggested this plant. You can see by my reply Whitfil will not get any more money. Sold us Hong Kong Orchid a year ago that is a big Root ball and never rooted. $800 down the drain!
google avatar

Yelp
It's beautiful and covered in healthy plants. They are really nice and you can find anything you need there. I made a special trip, i drove 20 minutes....(I have several nurseries within 2 miles of me) we found top quality Pots and plants and I left with what i came for. It exceeded my expectations. THANK_YOU, Whitfill!!

Yelp
I had a great experience here. This nice lady who requested not to be named helped me customize a gift (potted rosemary) for my mom. I had bought a few things and she broke away from what she was doing to assist. She and the staff were really busy and it was hard to ask but I'm glad i did. I quickly learned how demanding other customers were and appreciated the friendliness I received despite of it. I will be going back for sure.

Yelp
Whitfill Nursery is excellent! If you're searching for knowledgeable staff and quality plants (with a great price), I highly recommend Whitfill. I am currently in the process of planting a small garden and I was very impressed with the help I received. The plants are organized into cohesive rows with a massive and I mean massive variety. Whitfill also has some of the best prices in the Valley, I highly recommend.
google avatar

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
There isn't any pricing or sizes on the website so called to get more information. The first gal that answered seemed annoyed I had questions and said she'd have to find someone to help me, then the gentleman that answered was rude and short. It's as if they don't want the business. We have two different trees and palms we're looking to get. He gave one word answers and was very cryptic about size and cost, then delivery and install. Call Moonvalley, they're really friendly and helpful!
google avatar

Carlos N.

Yelp
I recently went here to get my first Christmas tree ever (as an adult) and it was an awesome experience. They have a huge selection and trees of all sizes. The employees were very helpful and helped take the tree out to my car. Will definitely be coming every year to get my free from now on!

Yelp
Ohh, I just LOVE this nursery in central Phoenix! They have colorful peacocks roaming the property, kitties, and more. Bonus: My son loves coming here, too! I love how it is organized. It is so easy to find what you need and they have LOADS of plants, trees, flowers, cacti and more to choose from. Their inventory is always fantastic, which I love! We recently purchased a vining bougainvillea and it looks GORGEOUS on the front of our home. We also purchased blue plumbago shrubs and the color is just lovely (like a periwinkle blue). They were tough to find, but Whitfill had plenty of them! There is always someone ready and available to help which is so valuable. I ALWAYS need help + have questions on watering, etc. We will be back soon to purchase ~30 petite oleanders and bougainvillea shrubs to plants along our back wall. See you soon!
google avatar

Susan Q.

Yelp
We are new to Arizona and to desert landscaping. The staff at Whitfill took the time to explain appropriate watering for our new plants as well as our fruit trees. We've now been there twice and both times we found everyone to be very friendly and very helpful. The prices are reasonable, lots of trees/plants to choose from. We've been to other nurseries and this was our best experience by far.

Yelp
This is every gardener's dream! Wow, where do I even start?! Upon arriving, I noticed their signs stating that they close at 5:30pm everyday (it's listed as 5 pm closing time). Upon walking in, i saw multiple employees watering and tending to their garden. What I didn't expect coming in was a huge, and I mean HUGE lot of plants ranging from indoor house plants to tropical fruit trees. This nursery is absolutely stunning! I felt like I was walking in my own personal heaven. You can tell that the employees take very good care of their plants here because it shows. Everything is lush and green! They had trees of different fruits ranging from finger likes to Asian pears, to plums and even guava trees. I bought a Monstera plan there for only $25 + tax and my Monstera is looking so amazing. BONUS: they have tons of peacocks running around the nursery. They often have babies waddling alongside with them. And cats! Who doesn't love cats?! The cats are super friendly and will come right up to you for some lovin'. I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Callijah C.

Yelp
Wilhelmina (Wilma) was incredibly sweet and helpful! She was patient in helping me pick out each tree, offering to cart things around, and help me load it.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
I love this place! In need of more cacti to add to our desert landscape, we found Whitfill, close to our home, and with tons of options. They have everything here, from cacti to fruit trees, and everything in between. We have ordered a variety of trees and cacti for the yard and they are always helpful in answering our questions and making the process easy. The best part is how simple it is too pick what you want, schedule delivery, and have them plant for you. I would never be able to get this stuff successfully planted in my yard and they make that happen quickly and just how you want it. They also take care of coordination with the city and your gas co to make sure no one is digging where lines may be underground. I am very happy with everything we have purchased here and their level of service. I also really enjoy browsing their location for new finds. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
This is a huge Nursery. They seemed to have just about every type of plant you can think of. This is also a very fun place to bring your kids as they have a variety of birds and even peacocks within their facility. It was my first time seeing a white peacock! I was a little hesitant to come as I was worried about high prices, but they are very reasonably priced. They have a cactus section, bonsai, indoor plants, and even a small antique store! There are a number of employees walking around so getting help shouldn't be too hard. The indoor plant section was even air conditioned to mimic what it would be like if the plant lived inside. Overall I had a great experience here. I will be back once I need more plants!
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Fairly priced, no frills nursery. I came here and bought 25+ plants and they were great with helping me tag them and they delivered 2 days later ($100 delivery fee). The nursery has tons of friendly peacocks roaming, and their plants look healthy! I am very happy with my purchase - thank you Whitfill!

Yelp
What a great place! It feels alive with all the plants and trees! First time shopping for a Christmas Tree, so I might be a little biased! I wanted to support a local business and called because my bf heard walmart had trees for $50 and wanted to stay around that price range. They assured us they had great trees around the same price and boy where they RIGHT!!! SO many options, so many beautiful trees, I was so excited!! They had 4 different types of trees and discussed how they trees were made specifically for Christmas, so they plant a tree every time they cut one down.. way to keep those emmission low! Other than the Christmas trees, there were so many beautiful plants, a greenhouse and even peacocks in the back -an albino one? All interesting. What really makes this experience stand out is the customer service. Have a question? Someone was readily available to help you! Wsnted a tree, they had someone with a cart to do all the heavy lifting! They even cut the bottom so it'll be ready to drink water once you get it home! Overall a great first experience! Make sure you ask which trees give you that pine smell, because ours was lacking a little, but made up for it in looks! Can't wait to bring a few more plants home in the future, and now I know where to go!

Alexa T.

Yelp
They somehow can never keep their indoor tropical plants well watered no matter the season. The indoor plants always look horrible and stressed therefore making the prices not worth it. Service is blah, I have never been welcomed by any of the workers there nor thanked and those poor birds...

Some G.

Yelp
I love this place, I've bought many trees and plants here over the years & everyone is helpful & knowledgeable!

michael c.

Yelp
I live in the lakes of Tempe, they have added many Hong Kong Orchid trees. We went to Whitfields to purchase one. We purchased what was tagged Hong Kong Orchid but was actually a Brazilian and has been a disappointment from day one. Thinking of removing it and putting in a true Hong Kong Orchid. Always had been a satisfied customer till now.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Very very rude staff. I don't know what's wrong with their employees, but there's always attitude whenever you interact with them. No matter if it's summertime (which you would expect the rudeness given the heat) or winter. Plus, their product isn't always great. There are other companies in town with better pricing, quality, and service.

Yelp
We lost a tree a few weeks ago in one of our crazy monsoon storms. Brent at Whitfill was amazingly patient and helpful as we struggled to decide on a replacement tree. He answered all our questions and offered great suggestions. A week later our new tree was delivered and expertly planted by a very competent group of workers. We are so pleased with our new tree that we don't even miss our old one. These people are professional from the moment you step into their beautiful nursery. Go there.... You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I want to love Whitfill so desperately. We easily go once per week. So let me start with the good. The good is that Whitfill is located in uptown Phoenix. They have a large variety of outdoor and indoor plants and trees. It's a fun place to walk around with a kid because they have peacocks and chickens. I also felt pretty comfortable going during covid because you can social distance easily. I will continue to go because I live nearby, but the customer service has a long ways to go. You can go five times and pretty much guarantee you will be ignored at least three of them. I went one morning with my son and we were the only people there. A group of six-eight employees were standing together chatting. My kid said good morning as we walked by and no one said a word to him- which is a bummer for a 5 year old really into plants. We spent an hour walking around after that and weren't offered help once. One time we met the owner (I think) and he was so nice and helpful; walking us all over. But out of 20 visits this year alone, I've probably been acknowledged and helped 5/20 times. So because I love plants and want to support local nurseries, I will keep going and supporting them. But the customer service definitely puts a damper on the experience.
