Best Vietnamese and Pho Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"This vibey Vietnamese lounge and hookah bar in Little Five Points, themed after and soundtracked by hip-hop music, centers a good portion of its menu on pho, including the Sea Pho Tha Streetz with lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops. Make sure to also try the pho’cos or Vietnamese street tacos, like the barbecue chicken or brisket, topped with slaw, jalapenos, and cilantro. In addition to pho and tacos, look for crispy egg rolls, crab rangoon, rice plates, bubble tea, and Vietnamese coffee." - Eater Staff

Found them from an Instagram post and Decided to stop by, needless to say I Will be back! The parking isn’t the best but once you’re inside a time was had! We were greeted and Catered to by Ryan (Shot out to him) the music selection was good & at the perfect volume (you can still hear yourself think) but sing along at the same time. The food, drinks & hookah was definitely thumbs up 👍🏼 my drink was felt, all our food was served hot & fresh and that tropical flavored hookah 🙌🏽 Check them out and tell them the “Cali Girls sent you” You won’t be disappointed

Okay, so imagine walking into a pho spot that feels like stepping into someone’s spicy, soulful dream—equal parts love, laughter, and legit flavor. As a mixed woman, it’s rare and beautiful to find a place where the vibe feels so intentional and welcoming. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a love language. The menu? Unapologetically flirty and hilarious. Let’s just say ordering felt like foreplay. Every dish name had me blushing and giggling like I was on a really fun third date. But don’t be fooled—behind all that cheeky humor is some seriously fire pho. Deep, rich broth. Tender meat. Noodles that feel like a warm hug from someone who knows your childhood nickname. It’s clear the owners poured their relationship, humor, and creativity into this place—and we’re all just lucky to taste it. Whether you're coming in for the food or the vibes (spoiler: it's both), you're walking out feeling full, seen, and probably texting your group chat about that one menu item you definitely can’t say out loud in front of your mom. Highly recommend. Bring your appetite and your sense of humor. Side note for the OGs, be sure to ask for the toppings on the side if you like to get your hands dirty and mix it in yourself 💋

Google
The food was an amazing. I got wings and rice and also the brisket tacos. The wings was very flavorful. Also, the tacos was seasoned and good. And they have hookah 😫. If you want a sign please go and eat there !

Google
The place smells. When I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee they gave me this red cup with no lid and an instant coffee inside. Would not recommend to anyone. The kitchen also has water all over the floors. When confronting the worker he offered no refund and doubled down saying Vietnamese iced coffee is just coffee.

Google

Will definitely be back! Speedy service and our server Kai was very helpful with menu suggestions. We were seated immediately and left extremely happy!

Google
Great late night spot for good pho. The ambiance was cute and calming. The food was really good and tasty. The spring rolls were on point. If you want more noodles for your pho just order some more. We will definitely be back!! The only reason I couldn't give a 5 was because the bathroom was not clean.

Google
Food was delicious, best Pho I’ve ever had, hard for me to eat any other restaurant’s pho. On the contrary, when i walked in there was an extremely foul oder by the host stand by the walkway and a homeless man kept coming in and out bothering the staff. Waitress was extremely friendly and sweet though.

Yelp
Shout out to Who Wanna Pho for taking my Pho-ginity! I've been dying to try this place due to all of the content I've seen on it via social media and the food did not disappoint. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and while it wasn't very crowded, they had the music and the vibes flowing. Our waitress/vibe controller was Vee and I just wanted to give her a special shout out for being so kind and making recommendations since it was our first time. I order 'Pho the Love of Money' which is their shrimp pho and it was SOOO flavorful. I also discovered my love for hoisin sauce :) In my opinion, my pho was reasonably priced ($17), because I was able to leave full and have some to take home as leftovers (heated up beautifully once all of that srichia and hoisin sauce marinated with the broth, might I add) but I also don't have any other standard to compare it to. We didn't partake this time, but they also have hookah and cocktails as well as what looks like some sort of karaoke events on Saturdays. I will definitely be back on a Friday or Saturday night just to see how live the vibe gets and of course get some more delicious pho!

Yelp
I'm going to give this place a lot of grace since I think they just had their grand opening in September and I'm hopeful for growth. The main thing is they are trying to be a hookah lounge/bar/pho spot all in one and it will attract different people who will see issues with each thing. My boyfriend and I came with my little sister and her girlfriend after my sister saw the name of the restaurant and loved the puns of the menu. It's definitely creative! We all like pho so were excited to try it out. Similar to other reviews, it doesn't give pho restaurant vibes. It gives late night, this place is best enjoyed after 10pm vibes. We came in around 5pm. We were allowed to seat ourselves. The server did her best and you can tell it's family owned by the service. She managed to get us everything and she was nice, but you can also tell they're a new restaurant still getting the hang of things. I've never seen a primarily Black owned pho spot so that was dope. But if you like and know quality pho then you wouldn't come here. ALSO be prepared for automatic 20% gratuity. My sister said that's normal for ATL. I'm from Cali, we only have that for 6+ groups of people and it's noted on the menu. If I had to give recommendations to this restaurant, it would be to study service a little more. Service can make the difference in how people experience a restaurant. Clean tables, drinks, and taking orders promptly is 101. Secondly, it's cool you want to be a lounge but get the pho part down first. You have the aesthetic, now match it in quality. The broth was good to me, I liked my chicken. But there's room for growth in the sauces provided, toppings/veggies, broth, seasoning etc.

Yelp
We came in from out of town and were looking for a local place to eat and wanted pho with this cold weather. We ordered two bowls of pho and a Korean bbq rice plate. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The rice were as hard as rocks. We told our waitress and all she did was tell us about how she Will tell the kitchen staff to fix it, but nothing for resolved on our end. The portion of pho was a baby size bowl with premium pricing. The two bowls of pho, rice plate , three waters and a tea cost $96. I've never been disappointed at a restaurant like this before.

Anna R.

Yelp
Got the grilled chicken plate and added shrimp. It was $24 and didn't taste like it. The nutty taro tea was good at least. With my entree, a side of crab ragoons and a tea my total came out to $52! It was ridiculous for the amount of food and the quality of it. The service was meh. Waitress seemed like she didn't care and we figured out why when we got our checks. We had a party of 6 (2 kids, 4 adults) and they added gratuity onto each of our checks. No where on the menu did it mention an auto gratuity and when I asked what that extra charge was, I was told it was the Fulton county tax. Upon checking my receipt it says a guest count of 7 when there was a total of 6 so it seems like this waitress was just lying to get more money. Very shady place. Wouldn't go again, wouldn't even recommend.

Yelp
I stopped here late at night, after midnight for a pho fix. I am usually a Buford Highway pho girl, but I was closest to this side of town. We parked on the street and because of the time of night, it was free. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated within seconds. I was surprised at the decent level of service since it was so late. The hostess was friendly and the server was attentive and knowledgable of the menu. The pho was more expensive than what I am use to on the other end of the city. I believe my bowl was around $20. To me, the pho was average. There was a lack of depth of flavor. Definitely does the job after a drunken night of dancing and partying. But the price point was higher than what I would pay for if I was making sober decisions lol. I did enjoy the atmosphere, even though I thought the music was bit loud for a pho spot. All in all I would come again if the level of service stayed the same and was on that side of town. If you enjoy pho, please visit one of the many pho restaurants on Buford Highway.

Yelp
Service from the woman with the blonde hair (I believe she was the owner or manager) was A1. Super sweet and friendly, I would deff come back just for this reason alone. It was definitely a vibe in there. I loved the music selection and when the neon lights came on, it really set the tone. I ordered some appetizers and then the steak and rice dinner. I actually really enjoyed my food but I will just say that the main entree was a tad bit unseasoned, however it wasn't terrible.

Yelp
I am so disappointed. I came here after driving to another Vietnamese restaurant that was 30 minutes to closing but had already run out of food. So I saw that this particular restaurant had a decent rating and was open late so I took a chance and ventured to Little5P. When I saw the ambiance, I had great hope. The décor was a good mix of neon kitchy and cool vibes, hookah, a full bar, and Carribean RnB jams. But all of that just couldn't make up for the $18 plus tax and 20% gratuity and what I got for it. The chicken part of the rice plate was actually quite good; it was tender, moist, and charbroiled. But there was no lemongrass flavor or honey flavor as the destination proclaimed. The rice was sticky but almost hard. However, the worst offender was the vegetables that passed for anything remotely worth even 50% of what I paid for it. The broccoli and carrots looked like they came from the bagged veggie steamables section at Kroger. There was basically no Seasoning at all on them; I love vegetables so this was a crime before God. Plus there as no hint of anything authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. They even left out the fish sauce! However, I don't think even that would have recused this for me. I mean I would come back for just the chicken. But the whole dish is fraudulent, especially for $25!!! Never again!

Yelp
Ordered Pho to go. They forgot to give me steak and utensils. Shame on me for not checking my order before leaving, seemed like such a simple order. Didn't notice my incomplete order until I got home. Ended up ordering Pho from Ponce City Market. (Spicy beef pho is amazing). Worst tasting pho I've had in Atlanta. Tastes like box broth bought at grocery store. Overall lacked seasoning and regular pho taste. Tasted it, threw it away. Try somewhere else. Restaurant had a strong cleaning product smell.

Yelp
Idea was cute. But if you're looking for good pho comparable to otp of ATL this ain't that cute. For $17 you get warm soup that doesn't cook your steak. So we got chewy raw meat. Noodles that stick together and can be finished in 2 bites. Next picture is the grilled chicken and raw broccoli for healthy option.

Yelp
Cool spot. Menu is an ode to rap music. Music playlist was perfect. My favorite thing on the appetizer sampler were the Vietnamese wings and Chicken egg rolls. Chicken wings were crunchy and well seasoned. Egg rolls were very flavorful. Staff was very friendly. Gratuity was automatically added to check. I was going to tip 20 % anyway so no biggie.

Yelp
Terrible chicken dish for $20+ on Uber eats. Please investigate maybe the Uber driver took a bite.

Yelp
I was so disappointed I wasted my time and money at this place. If you want pho forreal, this isn't the place for it. They brought out one small size bowl with all the garnishes already in it. Like what if I didn't want cilantro, mint, or bean sprouts all in my soup? This place isn't authentic. The meat was tough. The broth was bland. The crab Rangoons was bland and hard as rocks. The drinks were so bitter and no one came and checked on us. The typical pho condiments of hoison, siracha, and garlic chili oil were no where to be found. The ambiance is cool if you wanna just come and party. Pho and hookah don't go together. This place isn't family friendly. I mean let's be real, this is a lounge. And the food is just the accessory. The parking is also sketch because you're parked on street and in risky neighborhoods. I just don't wanna eat my pho and have hookah smoke in my face and twerking with loud music going on. Never returning even if the food is free.

Yelp
As a Vietnamese person, I'm really particular about the quality of the food and I can attest that this place went above and beyond my standards! The atmosphere is one of a kind as its the first ever Viet lounge, the server was super attentive, and I loved the food. We had the spring rolls and pho. Their pho recipe has been tried and true and passed down from many generations! Oh and the table side coffee service as well was great! We had a hookah and I have to say that it's the best in the city (coming from me who used to own a hookah company so I'm very picky!) They're still waiting on their liquor license so I can't wait until they get that. Only down side is the parking situation as there's not a dedicated lot, but that's not in their control. There's plenty of lots around for paid parking or you can find street parking! Would highly recommend checking out!

Yelp
Food was amazing and customer service was great. I had shrimp pho with veggies and shrimp tempura. It's was 10/10

Tyler W.

Yelp
20+ minutes for wings ( kitchen forgot ) , condescending management, the pho was good but not work the other stuff.
google avatar

Kyndall E.

Yelp
10/10 highly recommend. Amazing concept executed to perfection. The ambiance, food and hospitality were top notch!

Kaley E.

Yelp
Food was 4/10 they rice tasted like water and was really mushy .I ordered brisket tacos they were the worst tacos I ever had in my life .They pho was too good maybe the broth wasn't made right . The only thing that was actually good was really the appetizers I had chicken egg rolls they were amazing the wings were okay just too salty and crab Rangoon which was literally just cream cheese no crab in it but it still was pretty good Also had a Thai tea with boba the boba was terrible. Our server was great The ambiance wasn't really giving lounge . The music was terrible it was music that would put you to sleep. We were there for 2 hours and they played the same 6 songs over and over . The tables are really wobbly

Yelp
Seriously the best pho I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh, the broth was definitely homemade, and the service was absolutely phenomenal. It was more than a traditional pho place, with a nice and trendy ambiance. I will definitely come back soon. Vy was fabulous and so sweet. The cocktails were so clever and delicious. They also have a hookah option, however I didn't include that. Also a huge plus, this place is open pretty late through the week days and on Friday and Saturday they're open until 5am! As someone who works mostly nights this is a huge plus. Definitely give this place a chance, you will not regret it. (Also they're having a grand opening on Saturday 9/16/23)

Ava B.

Yelp
LOL! This food is a joke. Worst Pho I have ever had. Tastes like beef bouillon powder mixed with water and garnished with minimal fresh herbs. Salty and flavorless! Also, portions were 1/3 the size of what one would expect for Pho. These cooks must not know what real Pho is! The "fresh" vegetable spring rolls had me laughing too! They're 90% overcooked rice noodles with a pinch of shredded lettuce. If you do decide to try them, don't rely on the peanut sauce to satisfy you. It tastes like grease mixed with sugar and a hint of fish sauce. I don't recommend eating here if you're wanting Vietnamese food.
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
Ok. So I see what they were trying to do with this place.... But for me, it's a miss. I'll start with the restaurant and vibe it's self. It's cute on the inside, but it's a lot more "urban" and fluid than I imagined. People are in and out of the door, the music is a little loud and someone was DJing with their phone and the person kept playing the same song like they were at home. I mean this is really just another Atlanta lounge but with "Vietnamese" food. On to the food. We got the steak dish, house pho, crab Rangoon, and chicken egg rolls. I give the food a 2.5 out 5. I definitely think they could have better quality of food. The pho broth wasn't flavorful and the meat wasn't the best quality. The steak was like frozen steak and the crab Rangoon was extremely hard on the edges. I love Vietnamese food, so I had better expectations . If I was hungover and neeeeeeeeded last night soup I may go again, but definitely not recommending anyone. The server was nice but she forgot out water.
google avatar

Salvador M.

Yelp
The ambiance is very chill the server went above and beyond. And the food was good. I definitely recommend this'll place. Next time we are back in Atlanta we are definitely coming back to this place again. I recommend the brisket pho,cos for starters and the pho soup is stupendous.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
Ordered take out and the vegetarian pho had literally raw vegetables and forgot tofu. If it had been earlier I would have requested a replacement but it was late. Def not eating here again. And especially for the price! Not okay.
google avatar

Adas B.

Yelp
They forgot the grilled tofu on my vegetarian pho and the other veggies were all just raw. imo $20 is a lot for something that's missing the protein.

Kiah W.

Yelp
Great food and service, underrated gem in the neighborhood. I'm shocked that the overall rating is low this is my second time here and the service is consistent. Chicken egg rolls, wings, steak and rice! Shrimp and brisket tacos are good as well...there were no leftovers.

Tien N.

Yelp
Got overcharged that I had to dispute. Service wasn't good and slow. I Ordered hookah it never came so I had to leave and forgot to ask for the receipt. Foods are just edible and overpriced I don't like how they overcharged me in suspicious way.

Donvenia J.

Yelp
Found this spot looking for pho after a log night ! Was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, vibe, service, the drinks , and food !! No more having to drive to Buford highway for great pho. And it's black owned and conveniently located in little 5 points!!

Reetz M.

Yelp
10/10!! Everything here was so good. Me and my friend found this place on IG, we love Pho! The brisket pho was amazing, and the shrimp tempura was so yummy! We also had the Vietnamese wings that was a hit!! Ohh and the hookah was smokinggggg. To top it off the "the gone with the wynn" drink was the beast version on a martini I ever had! The staff was super friendly, even the owner was helping us as well!
google avatar

S B.

Yelp
Ordered for pickup with preset time. Errands finished sooner than expected Nadia was very kind and helpful. Will def be back. Pho and chicken egg rolls were delicious! Very cute/eye catching setup inside the restaurant.
google avatar

Lillian R.

Yelp
I love this place !! super great food , great and creative cocktails and an amazing ambience. Service is amazing ! The servers are so sweet and they ensure that I have a good time every time I visit Who Wanna Pho.
google avatar

Nina N.

Yelp
Pho is no go. And the price is too over priced than what it is. The noodles weren't cooked all the way. Chicken was dry.
google avatar

Barbie H.

Yelp
Pho was bland, good appetizers and hookah... My server was nice short hair girl, light skin she was so sweet I wanted to leave her more money for a tip but I only had cash for takeout... if I returned it would be for her and the hookah... ambiance love the red and black...
google avatar

Karla S.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe to it and we were really satisfied with the food! The crab rangoons were hot, fresh, and seasoned well. The broth of our pho was very good, with a nice depth of flavor. Service was exceptional and everybody was very friendly. Would definitely come back!
google avatar

Tee S.

Yelp
I was really hyped about this place and left disappointed. We were greeted by I think an owner or manager. Great start. They sat us down but took forever to get our drink orders and they took forever to bring the drinks. They didnt have the lychee boba for the mango madness, so I had to get a regular soda. We ordered the phosome platter. Which is supposed to have egg rolls, wings, tempura, and crab Rangoon. No crab Rangoon due to an event. Seems like all small restaurants have the same excuse. So they substituted extra of the wings and shrimp tempura, but they forgot our egg rolls and brought them out after. Limes looked used and when we asked for some more the girl brought them to the table in her hand. Her Hand!!! Cmon now! Pho needed some more seasoning. it just tasted like beef broth. Oh and the condiments Sriracha and hoisin. We had to request it. To Top it all off, an automatic gratuity charge. I hope they do better.

Arianna G.

Yelp
Yum!!!! Complex broth and the nicest people! I'll be back! Service is on point! Thank you!
google avatar

Jae C.

Yelp
Let's first start with the ambience, very relaxing, inviting, & the music was an added bonus! The waitress was great very attentive. The food was amazing, I recommend the crab Ragoon & the beef Pho. They also offer hookah as well. Definitely will be bringing friends back to visit.
google avatar

Alexis W.

Yelp
This was my first time experiencing pho, and I really enjoyed it! Definitely a vibe! The customer service is amazing! 10/10 for sure! I recommend everyone to come experience this black owned Vietnamese restaurant! Oh and let's not forget to mention they have good hookah!!!

Makaley P.

Yelp
A hidden gem! Me and my homegirl went for her birthday this previous weekend. The food is amazing (best crab ragoons EVER!), the hookah was smooth and lasted hours, not to mention the drinks were HEAVY with liquor so that's always a plus lol. They let us stay past closing time since it was her bday and celebrated with us! I recommend Who wanna Pho to anyone looking for a chill but lit vibe in ATL. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Amari P.

Yelp
Environment is mad welcoming and staff is attentive and friendly. A couple of the owners Don and Terry were very generous and knows how to build a relation. The food was authentic and fresh as well, can't go wrong spot.

Gia B.

Yelp
I would leave 0 stars if i could it cost 46 bucks for two appetizers and two drinks the waiter was very rude we waited on our food for an unreasonable amount of time and people who came in after us ordered first.
google avatar

Kenzie T.

Yelp
Went here for a girls night with three of my friends & just wanted to try this new spot we've been hearing about! To start off, we didn't try the pho this go round, just because it's not like a traditional pho place where the they have sugar/s&p/hoisin/fish sauce/soy sauce/chili oil/sriracha out on the tables to add into the pho. We did see that they do bring out a little platter with some limes and looked like hoisin and sriracha in little cups if you do order the pho, but personally I like to have everything added to my pho & a larger amount of the sauces. We did get the lemongrass chicken rice dish, the steak & brisket pho'cos, & the chicken wings with french fries. The food we ordered was pretty good we did end up taking our leftovers home! The drinks are cute and taste good as well, not on the super strong side but I'm sure a few of them will definitely get you there. Parking is just like any other place in atl really, street parking or in a small lot across the street if you get lucky to find a spot. Ambience was really cute & the bathroom was cute as well, it is a private bathroom so only one person at a time. Service was nice as well! We do want to come back to try the pho!
google avatar

Dylan M.

Yelp
Excellent food and service ! Not super traditional pho but still good . The broth I had in my pho was really flavorful.

aureia b.

Yelp
Crab Rangoon was very hard and crunchy. And the pho wasn't pleasing either. Very disappointed. Small portion as well maybe because it was takeout.

Lauren M.

Yelp
The food the service and the ambiance were incredible.. the drinks were a little pricey but the staff more than makes up for it! I highly recommend!

Sonny S.

Yelp
We were so looking forward to finding a Pho spot near our neighborhood (not have to go to Buford Highway). Unfortunately this was a very disappointing food experience. The service was fantastic the the Pho, was extremely disappointing. I don't like to use the word extremely often, but I must in this situation. The broth seemed to be a beef broth from a box with no seasoning and my wife got vegetable broth which was equally unseasoned (yes, they asked if we wanted Beef or Vegetable broth as they were out of Chicken broth).

Walter C.

Yelp
Food is good service is nice place is clean and I think they just got there liquor license to enjoy craft cocktails

Visey R.

Yelp
Great food even better vibes love that they play now music and offer hookah the pho is authentic the real thing never been to a pho restaurant that offers alcohol their mixed drinks are amazing service is also good servers are nice and quick will come again

Cheyenne F.

Yelp
I went to this spot for the first time last night and the service from both the hostess who greeted me as well as the bartender was great. However when the owner of the restaurant arrived the energy immediately switched for the worse. He proceeded to have a very loud and unprofessional verbal altercation with the young lady who was serving myself and two other people behind the bar. This then quickly escalated to a PHYSICAL ALTERCATION in front of everyone as he forcefully shoved the young lady out the front door yelling "GET OUT OF MY SHIT!" I couldn't believe my eyes. This is UNACCEPTABLE under any circumstance but especially in a place of business where people are paying good money to enjoy their food in peace. All of our tabs were still open when she was thrown out so we had to literally LOOK for someone else to assist us with closing out our tabs and the owner never came over to offer an apology for his behavior or accommodate us for the inconvenience. I will NEVER come back here. VERY GHETTO and UNPROFESSIONAL ownership.

Nathan N.

Yelp
I would like to begin with the fact that me and my friend were talking about the fact she is a lesbian and I am trans man when we were seated. The server brought us the wrong Thai tea. We were brought water with a tea bag in it with undissolved sugar at the bottom. It took at good 20 minutes to see out server again and for us to ask for actual Thai tea. We ordered the veggie spring rolls and the wings. The spring rolls took another 20 minutes, and the wings took an additional 20 after the rolls. The spring rolls were unchewable and the wings had pieces of broken down bone in them. The fries that came with the wings were completely unseasoned. No salt, no nothing. All of this is ignoring the fact that our server practically ignored me and my friend. A group right next to our table seated almost 30 minutes after us. This table received much more attention than us, received a much kinder and bubbly version of our waitress. The whole experience was ridiculousfor 40 dollars + a 20% built in tip.

Javonia A.

Yelp
the food and drinks is/was amazing...staff are friendly and informative..pricing was reasonable and affordable..vibe check
