I live an hour from the city! This Whole Foods is such a delightful place to shop, have an espresso or snack, and relax! In an area well known for parking difficulties this Whole Foods has its own lot! Paid parking but not bad if you are validated! Nice tables to eat at inside and out! Hot and cold buffets with lots of choices. Super clean rest room! Always try to stop here when visiting Mass General. Pretty easy from highways. Food is super fresh and very nicely presented.

Google
So organized and so many wonderful options! Quick stop for some snacks and drinks, but I was happy to find the hot bar and a seating area so I could eat them there and not walk and eat!

Google
Super solid Whole Foods experience. Went here while on a work trip and I was pleasantly surprised. The store is much bigger than it appears in the outside. Kind of interesting. They separate the wellness and beauty products from the grocery store stealth but it kind of gives you a separate little experience. The hot and salad bar were incredibly clean well stocked around lunchtime. They had a ton of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. It was all very organized as well. Their selection and desserts were also quite well stocked. The café space was a little messy and chaotic, but I found a spot.

Google
I love this Whole Foods. Great area and wonderful helpful staff. Not as big as most Whole Foods, but I love the bakery department when I have to celebrate work birthdays. Very convenient for the busy area. I wonder, are Amazing orders available for pick up/drop off at this location?

Google
Excellent as always! We are from Brooklyn and spent couple days in Boston and Wholefoods market met all our expectations. Fresh and delicious hot bar, great bakery, we bought vanilla cheesecake which was super-delicious! Recommend!

I have just bought two cannolis with chocolate chips . I brought them home only to throw them away. They were old, the filling was even sour. Trash bin was our best choice. Never anymore.

Yelp
Incredibly overpriced even by whole foods standards. The selection is good though and the staff very helpful.

Yelp
I visit this Whole Foods a couple times a week and it is smaller than most locations but has just about everything that a bigger Whole Foods location has. I enjoy getting their iced honey vanilla latte. Unfortunately the last few times, they didn't have the ingredients to make it. I highly recommend trying the iced honey vanilla latte though 10/10. This is a great location to go to if you're traveling on foot... driving, not so much. Parking is quite pricey here just for a grocery store trip. Unless you are here for a doctor's appointment or can get it validated, there are other Whole Foods locations in the city, which have parking lots that are free to park. Their cakes, pizza, and prepared food are great and not too expensive.

Yelp
The Hot Bar is horrible. It's never fresh, it's always messy and the options are super weak in comparison to all the other Whole Foods in the Boston area. I buy Whole Foods hot bar 3-5 times a week and I will go out of my way to not shop at the downtown Boston location because I know it's always going to be a disaster with very limited options

Yelp
I recently went to a potluck in this part of Boston and decided to stop at this Whole Foods for dressing. They had a great selection of them, ranging from low cal to full fat, from spicy to non spicy, from traditional flavors to fun new flavors. The store was a bit small compared to other ones I have been to, but it had all the basic items that I usually would find at Whole Foods. I walked past their prepared foods section and it looked great and well stocked.

Yelp
Catering review: The food was not worth the price at all and would not have fed 8 people. The ham was marked $45 which means I was charged $125 for Mac and cheese for 4, green bean casserole for 4 and mashed potatoes for 4 and some glaze. The green beans were in a layer of water and looked mushy in the packaging and the fruit platter (when we opened it to eat it) had worms on it. I called to return the food (on the same day after I checked it when I got home) with the online number and was told I had to drive back to Andover (am not in the area). When I called Andover they said I could return it to any Whole Foods. I then drove to a different Whole Foods (Cambridge Street) and after 2 store members could not figure it out they got the manager Kenny. While examining the food he said "I make my own food" in my response to my statement that this would not feed 8 people and I had no idea how it all cost $170. After some research he said I had to drive it back to Andover for a refund because they do not have it in the system. After another call to the catering number I was told I would receive a refund vie email and since that has not happened I now have to spend another day driving this food back to Andover. In the end, I ended up buying an entire new order of food from the store directly on 12/23 because the catering was an absolute disaster. Luckily the store in Boston was well stocked and I bought food to make and still have the catering order sitting in my trunk for return...

Yelp
Not a bad store, except for the seafood counter, which is terrible. In particular, the soft shell crabs are not fresh, and I had to throw them out after I cooked them. The seabass was not fresh either. I recently bought some oysters, and was double charged. I won't buy seafood again at that Whole Foods.

Yelp
Wonderful store, great products, good prices, lovely employees, BUT it cost me more to park in their parking lot than I even spent in the store! ($31.00 for 64 minutes)!!!! Great place if you're walking, but AVOID if you need to park, even for a short time!!!!

Albin S.

Yelp
Michelle G or whatever she is called, attends horrible apart from her bad mood is super slow, by workers like her the companies become tedious to visit that horrible experience apart is super rude and out of style.

Sam N.

Yelp
Food is fresh with a wide variety of items. Delivery is fantastic. Quick and easy and reliable. Prices could be better!

Yelp
You guys should literally inform customers online that you are not serving breakfast at 7am anymore. I came Monday 3/4/24 no breakfast, today 3/5/24 i literally waited for 20 mins. today with 3 other people until the breakfast came out, I asked the workers, and they don't have a clue of anything, You guys need to get it together, just a reminder, the customers are the ones keeping this store open!! very disappointed!!

Victoria N.

Yelp
Good selection for hot foods! I recommend getting the dinner platter for $14 which is 1 entre with 2 sides.

Andrea D.

Yelp
My favorite Whole Foods Market! Great location, great size and great selection of groceries and other items to buy! I love the body care and the hot foods sections! This is a great grocery store chain that puts quality first!

Yelp
It's convenient place if you're around the city especially if you're an organic shopper on food. They have so many selections from fresh veggies to warm cooked meals that are ready to go. They have a lot of delicious desserts to choose from as well. It's all the way at the end at the back. And then on the left side are the choices of cheese with various selections as well. Name it! You'll get whatever you need down to some organic medicines and herbal ones as well. Me and friend went get some fruits for her house since she works at the cvs beside the store. It's pretty fast since we only got a couple of things. We got checked out in minutes and we headed to her house after that.

Yelp
We are from out of town and had been searching for flower leis for a banquet ceremony. After calling around we spoke to a gentleman working at the customer service desk and he confirmed they did have leis. We drove across town only to find out they don't. We walked over to customer service and spoke to him and he wasn't apologetic for not actually confirming, especially when the desk was literally right beside the florist area.. Just upset at the lack of "customer service" and our time wasted coming here.

Bruce K.

Yelp
Full service supermarket with tons of great stuff not just for filling your pantry but also ready-to-eat and ready-to-heat meals. I was pleased with the cheese section, picking up a nice red cheddar. Yum! I also got a great mini baguette and a bunch of antipasto stuff including spicy peppers, roasted beets and such. A really great meal all by itself. Friendly staff, well stocked shelves and the prices have definitely come down from the pre-Amazon days.

Matty B.

Yelp
I went shopping, and had to use the restroom. Somebodh was in the stall making phone calls for half an hour. I eventually say "ok cmon buddy you've been here too long get off the phone I need to use toilet" man flushes and doesn't leave the bathroom for another 10 minutes. Finally emerges and he's a kitchen employee! I'm never buying prepped foods here again!

Meghan B.

Yelp
I stopped here while visiting Boston for work. I was looking for a side dish for dinner, something for desert and some water for my hotel room. I love the hot/cold to-go sides and meals that Whole Foods offers and was not disappointed with the selection here. I was able to find my favorite brand of yogurt (Culina) and they had a large selection of water to choose from. Just an all-around great Whole Foods location in easy walking distance from my Downtown Boston hotel.

Yelp
A week ago, I purchased a cookie with a price of $1.95. I was in a hurry because I was going for a flu shot next door. After paying at a self-service machine with my VISA card, I threw away the receipt with the wrapper. When I got home I was surprised to see $41.95 taken from my checking account. It was processed as an ATM transaction. I went back yesterday to trace the transaction and Adam and his team manager could not have been more helpful. I got my money returned today and was happy to spend some of it at Whole Foods due to their great service. It was an excellent cookie but it was not worth $41.95. This was a machine error. Always check your receipts before you leave a store. Customers and their children abuse the self-service machines and a lot can happen. Thank you, Adam and staff.

Yelp
The customer service is either good or bad. grocery selection is good for the area. The food on occasion goes bad quickly but you can't get everything perfect. Coffee Bar: you have to tell the barrister several times if you want a decaf beverage. You literally have to walk over to the espresso beans and make sure they choose decaf because they have a hard time remembering. All of them! It's very annoying to have to repeat yourself especially when you're a nursing mom. Cooked Food/ Deli:Cooked foods are ok. I saw people preparing the food also tasting the food without washing their hands. If you are going solely for groceries, then they are ok.

Yelp
The parking experience was one of the best enjoyable things I've ever experienced at a Whole Foods Market.

Yelp
I've had to return twice to this location in less than a month to return food that has mold growing on it. A couple of weeks ago it was a moldy container of shredded cheese. Today it was because of a moldy package of stuffed grape leaves. Each time I was told "sorry about that". I need more than insincere apologies. I need an explanation as to why your products are moldy way prior to their expiry date. Do you leave the items around instead of refrigerating them? I can see the mold when I open the package but some of your senior clientele might not. They might be ingesting your moldy food. Do better.

W. C.

Yelp
I don't know what has happened to the Whole Foods Market at Charles River Plaza, but, I am unimpressed by the growing number of "refrigerated" and allegedly "fresh" items that we shop for, that are frozen, or thawing, when we retrieve them from the bakery, or refrigerated cases (under the (false) pretense that they are "fresh"). It turns out that many items that you'd think are fresh, were frozen, and then thawed (hence, they are "freshly thawed"). Perhaps Whole Foods Market needs to change their name from Whole Foods Market, to Whole Foods - frozen then thawed - Market, to accurately reflect Whole Foods' current modus operandi.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Only reviewing the carrot cake. They purposely skimped on the frosting and hid it. In the cake world, that is wrong and I honestly want my money back since they just gave me a muffin. Just don't fall for the carrot cake. It's a trap (or a muffin)

Gi G.

Yelp
I don't go anywhere else to get a birthday cake from! So fresh! I get the strawberry filled cake and I'm never disappointed!

Mark W.

Yelp
It's a pretty small Whole foods but it does the job. The disadvantage of the size is that their selection is smaller than usual. The produce is very good and they definitely try to keep only the best in stock. They also have an excellent selection of meats. I would say that the seafood part is a bit lacking but I can usually find what I want here. The prices are definitely higher than a normal supermarket but that is Whole foods for you. My biggest criticism is that pre-Amazon take over, the staff were all phenomenal. Nowadays there are definitely a few bad eggs. The stock people are not as friendly and helpful, some cashiers are extremely slow and have bad attitudes (but to be fair, they must have fired some of the worst ones since I don't see those people anymore) and some of the people behind the counters of the seafood area are extremely rude. I alternate between this Whole foods and the Star Market by North Station depending on what I need and if I am shopping alone. I do appreciate the 5% back with my Amazon prime account but that 'discount' doesn't really make up for the fact that almost every thing is cheaper at any other supermarket around the area.

Yelp
When this Whole Foods first opened, it was one of my favorite. I was frequently traveling through and hanging around Park St at the time, so it was a quick (and enjoyable) walk through Beacon Hill. But mainly, I enjoyed it for its vegan chocolate chip muffins in the bakery section. Sadly, that was many years ago, and they no longer have the chocolate chip variety on hand. Their bakery section is still pretty impressive for vegan items, though, most recently having seen things like apple turnovers, raisin and chocolate chip scones, blueberry muffins, and several varieties of donuts (including ones with sprinkles!) Otherwise, this Whole Foods is pretty standard for the area. It's not incredibly large but it has all your core staples. It also has a divided out area for all of their body by Whole Foods items. They have a gated parking lot, which I assume has some sort of validation procedure but haven't personally had to park there. The location is probably most convenient for those coming from MGH or Govt Center.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Whole Foods. The sad bar is by far the best and has the widest varieties of different vegetables and foods it's great. Hardest thing for me to do is figure out what to put in my container trust me the struggle is real last time here I packed it so much I had enough for 2 huge salads that I added a can of Italian tuna fish to and made it like an antipasto without the meat had it for lunch back to back days filled me and that's no small feat. They have plenty of registers open always so matter how crowded It looks or gets it moves right along. They also have a coffee and tea bar I usually will get a double espresso and some cookies and the coffee is always good cookies it depends on what they have for a selection which usually depends on the time of day.

Josep B.

Yelp
I think there is not that much to say about Whole Foods (WF)... So all the good things that you heard about WF also applies to this store: .- Always very clean. .- Staff is great. .- Excellent quality in all their products (organic produce/products, grass fed meat, large selection of cheeses, local products/produce/meat, etc...) .- Buffet and area to eat .- Etc... Of course, and unfortunately, the not that good things applies: .- Price! By the way, they don't have alcohol (they do at the store in South End). Not a big deal since there are plenty of liquor stores close by.

Alexandra S.

Yelp
I am sorry to have to lower this WF by a star. I am still in a fair amount as I work nearby. However over the months since my original review, I no longer find the staff nearly as friendly, efficient or available as in other Whole Foods Markets. The service here does not hold a candle to the Whole Foods in Hingham or the one in Weymouth as just two examples of WF markets that I frequent. In the morning here, the coffee line is often impossibly long. Can't this be better staffed knowing that it is a popular morning destination in a very busy part of Boston? As well, the hot breakfast food area is frequently in need of replenishment...I'm generally there within 15 minutes of the store opening and already so many of the breakfast foods are ravaged, the trays messy and unappealing. Last week, I stopped in late in the afternoon. Much to my astonishment and horror I witnessed a customer sticking his fingers into the hot food trays, licking them and going back in for additional dips. I was able to flag down an employee who once I had told what I'd witnessed, whisked away the trays but only those I had said I had definitely seen contaminated by this crazy "Jack Horner" sticking in his thumb and other digits. I told the employee that I'd happened upon this disgusting scene mid-stream and who knew what else this guy had contaminated before I saw him? Alas, she only removed the trays I said I had witnessed him fouling. I have a hard enough time with any commercial buffet feeding troughs, whether they be in restaurants or stores so this was beyond gross reminding me that the best foods are the ones I make at home. And while I don't hold WF to blame for every lunatic like this, I do think better care should have been taken to remove all the trays of food from that particular section on the day in question. Better safe than sorry. This store in general needs more staff and some additional customer service training. While there are some friendly cashiers for example, there are a few who even first thing in the morning are not welcoming. If you can't find something this is one WF where not every employee will lead you right to the item which is a service I love and generally a service hallmark of WF. There have been times that a harried employee has just pointed me in the general direction. Two additional pet peeves: If I am buying a significant number of items and you don't see me carrying any bags in my hand, please don't ask me if I need a bag. I am hardly going to balance 12 plus items sans sack. I know I should bring my own bags; horror upon horrors: sometimes I forget. Also, please teach the cashiers not to pile the loose change on top of the dollar bills they are returning to the customer. The correct way to give change is to hand the change to the customer, then the bills. This means the change won't fall off the precarious pile atop those bills and land everywhere but in my possession. These days my visits to this WF are far fewer.

Sabrina B.

Yelp
My first morning in Boston I finished breakfast and set out to find some groceries to make breakfast at our AirBnB for the remainder of our trip. We had a list that was decent but not too daunting. I can see that parking would be a challenge but the store was only a mile or so walk from our place so we just walked. Once we grabbed a cart and started cruising through the aisle I was impressed by the selection. The prices were higher than what I am used to paying at Whole Foods but I can only chalk that up to the fact the location is in the city and that calls for a premium. I was very happy to find a real grocery store within walking distance so that's why I think this place is "A-Ok."

Nicholas C.

Yelp
Bought a complete Thanksgiving dinner at the Lynnfield, Ma store. The quality fell far short of expectations. The smoked turkey was flavorful but on the dry side and rather stingy, the string bean casserole was made with CANNED string beans and was very watery and pretty lousy, the corn pudding was a watery flavorless slop which everyone left on their plates unfinished, the mashed potatoes, both sweet and truffle, were over processed and flavorless, the turkey gravy was a flavorless greasy slop, the scarlet pie was very dry and had a weird liquorish after taste and the dressing was so weak I added pine nuts and dried cranberries. I don't mind paying top dollar as long as I am getting top quality. Whole Foods should be embarrassed by selling this low quality prison slop regardless of price.

Lisa R.

Yelp
So, I am on the hunt for a certain type of cheese.. I work near China Town so I decided to call first to see if WF has the cheese. I have been calling all morning. it is now 11:17 and still no one is answering..what kind of customer service are you running over there. What if this was an emergency!!! This store is going downhill...

Belle F.

Yelp
Great Market, but a tad expensive. Knocked a few stars off because of Friday could not get into the bathroom. Sign said to go customer service desk to get restroom code. However no one at the customer service desk and no one showed up for a good 10 minutes. Felt bad for the woman who had two young children with her who needed to use the bathroom.

Myrto B.

Yelp
I have been shopping at the beacon hill Cambridge street whole foods since it first opened. I can understand empty shelves due to supply chain issues and staffing problems during covid.... But the quality of the fresh produce is horrific. And the variety went down hill....And this started before covid. Why even put it out for sale. I buy fruits and veggies, and pay a fortune at whole foods ...just to throw them out because they are rotten. There's a Star Market down the street on causeway. I've had better luck there. Also, WF prepared food have gone down hill. Quality, variety, and taste. Nobody watches the prepared foods. People put their hands on everything. It's disappointing. Also even if they are short staffed... that doesn't give employees a free pass not to be helpful or answer questions. Yes... covid has caused problems but these problems started before covid. We can't blame everything on the Pandemic

Peggy A.

Yelp
This is the worst store ever! i am a frequent shopper at Whole Foods, and have shopped many stores in my vicinity including Lynnfield, Dedham, Hingham, Allston and have not been disappointed. Charles River Plaza Whole Foods should not be allowed to carry the name. Ever since Prime came in they have gone down. There's many empty shelves, it has been a challenge finding what I need. Now, since the pandemic, it is even worse, if it even could be!!! This store gives the chain a bad name! It survives because it is next to MGH and there is nothing else around. it is not a good experience! Trader Joe's is my store of choice living in Boston. A quick train ride to Somerville. It is a good feeling walking in with the shelves fully stocked and very attentive friendly staff, never left with a bad experience. Star Market at North Station is awesome too!

Brian R.

Yelp
Compared to other whole foods I've visited, including in cities, this seemed a bit cramped. For example, the salad bar, crammed between the pizza counter and the checkouts, wasn't extensive as other stores. The checkout area, with fewer cash registers than other WF's, is likely to be ridiculously crowded at rush hour. And it has fewer offerings than fancier Whole Foods. For example no fresh pasta stand or beer bar. But it does have an Amazon locker, as well as the standard core WF items - e.g. organic juices, flours, spices, chocolate, chips, and frozen vegetables.

Pan D.

Yelp
This story begins with a handful of beans. Though my name isn't Jack and there was no beanstalk (that I know of), there were brave HEROES and a surly VILLAIN and, perhaps, a victorious ride into the sunset... The beans came from the mythical land of San Francisco, a faraway kingdom where cars ride on cables and dumplings come on carts and the most delicious chocolate pumps magic into the nearby bay. The beans were purchased for a mother, who was coming to care for a daughter on the eve of a particularly ominous knee surgery - but surgeries and sutures are for another, far less interesting tale. As a non-coffee drinker, our heroine did not know that she would need her beans ground. When she realized her error, she set out in hopes of breaking the beans and freeing the liquid gratitude that hid within. There was only one market she frequented in the village, the almighty WholeFoods, that had always served her well, and in return, she served with her loyalty; it was to WholeFoods she called upon to help achieve her mission. At WholeFoods, looking befuddled and hopeless, the first knight in shining armor approached her, an officer armed with a grin, offering to take her to her to a mighty weapon, The Grinder, that was to help her conquer her demon. Take her he did, but it was here, so close to victory that she met the villain of our tale! He was sour at once, eying her as if she had skinned his dog to wear around her neck. He clicked his tongue. He questioned her curtly. Finally, he told her SHOO FROM HERE in a biting tone, a tone that told her never to return to her beloved market again. But, alas, dear reader, do not lose hope - the story is not over yet! Our heroine went on a search for another knight, and found him behind the customer service counter. Sir Supervisor Emmett was the second knight's name, and he awarded her with a prize for her struggles. He accompanied her back to her weapon - the villain sulked into hiding at the sight of the fearsome twosome - and they broke those beans and freed the magic within! So you see, dear reader, our story has a happy ending, indeed. There was no sunset (Boston winters and all) but now our heroine's mother won't suffer from lethargy as she nurses our heroine back to health to impart on many-a-mission more. That missing star, that's for you, sir villain. For your treacherous tone and for trying to keep the liquid courage all to yeself! THE END.

Sharon S.

Yelp
I think the food quality has really gone down over the past couple of years, however, I will go in for some things, especially if something I use is on sale. Today, when I checked to see what was on sale, I saw that they have sea scallops(10/20 ct) on sale for $12.99lb. How exciting. When I get in the store in the seafood sections, the signs (plural) are clearly posted. I get a bag of sea scallops 10/20 ct. I make my purchases and leave. As I'm walking away, I'm thinking, something is wrong. Did my total bill with 3 items come to over $40? Well yes it did. I was charged $26.99 for the scallops. When I returned to the store customer service, I was told that that sale didn't mean the bag, just loose scallops, then I was told that even though the bag says 10/20 count (just like the ad), One large "on sale sign" was posted above the bagged scallops. It was actually 1.8lb, so they would be willing to refund me $7. I respectfully requested my full refund. I love seafood. A couple of weeks ago, Star Market had the same sale. The only difference is that the limited your purchase to two, but they honored their ad. This isn't the first time I've run into an issue like this at this Whole Foods Market. If feel like bait and switch. I realized that a lot of the clientele is better off financially then the rest of us. I could never afford to spend $26.99 on a pound of scallops. That doesn't mean I never get to eat them, I just have to wait until they go on sale. When traditional stores like Star Market or Stop and Shop put a item on sale, there is no double talk like with these guys. I'm not saying that I will never shop here again, because it is conveniently located for me. However, when I have other options, I will certainly take them.

Ingrid C.

Yelp
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! After spending over $80.00 on grocery's I turned around for an item I forgot and went to the coffee line (NO ONE IN THE LINE) and they said, sorry unless you are getting coffee, we can't help you.

Jason W.

Yelp
Gave me FOOD POISONING! Ate at the hot bar and woke up with cramps, gas, diarrhea. To give you an idea of what it takes to give me food poisoning, I've lived in Burma for 4 years and ate street food. Went back next morning and manager just looked at me and said they couldn't do anything - would've at least expected them to offer me some pain relievers for cramps or herbs or to reduce the gas. Then I saw the same stuff (chicken) in the hot bar - so I guess they leave it from 10am - 10 pm. Would you eat chicken that's been left out for 12 hours?

Yelp
I frequent this location often. I mostly come here for the organic produce and bakery products. If you consume a lot of organic produce, you can actually differentiate from a Whole Foods vs the local Stop and Shop variety. The taste is much more fresh and crisp, which is why I prefer my produce here. It is on the higher price range, but hey, you're fueling your body with better options, put it in that perspective. :) The bakery section has great variety. They sell pastries for any holiday. My colleagues always come here to grab treats for the office. I love starting off my morning with their coffee cake, delicious! They have a salad/food bar, which gets very packed during lunch. I believe it's priced at $8.99 a pound? They also serve prepared food behind the counter with numerous options. There is a dining area. During the spring and summer, outdoor seating is provided. It's location at Charles River plaza may not be ideal. You pay for parking at this lot! However, I recently saw a sign on the front entrance stating they will validate your parking for one hour.

Yelp
I'm lucky to have this Whole Foods near me! It's not as big as the South End one, but it does have a good body/beauty section and a good hot bar and coffee bar.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the Boston area I always visit this location. I love the pizza & hot bar!

Yelp
I'm shocked - witnessed a man high on drugs at the breakfast bar serving himself while falling asleep with his hands in the French toast! Old needle sticking out of his back pack. I reported it to the manager - they did and said nothing! No security in the place. I will never eat at the food bar again!!!!!

Yelp
"We call that place whole paycheck," said the nurse. Exactly but, I love it. This place is close to MGH and is a great place to grab a healthy and quick lunch when visiting the area. Like every other Whole Foods its large, clean, bright and you know what to expect. This store had the usual suspects but they differed from what I'm used to by having a comfort food buffet station and no sandwich making station. I was there for a sandwich so sadly that meant I had to walk on over to the pre-made items. I also sampled the tuna roll at the sushi counter. The guy made it there on site but still wasn't so delicious. This was my first time sampling sushi at Whole Foods so not sure if this is something other stores excel at but, at this one, I'd keep on walking past that sushi counter.... Other than that, this is Whole Foods. It's expensive but, I trust them to be clean, healthy and sometimes that is oh so worth it. *** Pro tip - to avoid the lines, if you you purchase a coffee and have fewer than 8 items (don't hold me to that #) you can pay for everything at the coffee station. Time saver. The iced coffee was good too. Strong.

Yelp
I shop WF. Lots of them. I've tried SO hard to make it work with this one BUT....too often the bread is frozen. The pastries are frozen. I know, because when I cut a cake recently it was still frozen in the middle and I didn't put it in the freezer. I've found: rotten pears, bruised blood oranges, rotten and moldy shallots - the same ones sitting for over 2 weeks! Sad produce. Used Prime for in the pinch delivery - got unwrapped chicken sitting on top of my groceries. Puke here. I threw everything away and did the walk of shame back to Wegman's for delivery. In 1 mile walking distance there's Roche Brothers, Star Market. Both have strong organics. Roche has better prepared foods and nicer less OMG could they be any whiter managers. Just can't support racist store with crappy food.

Yelp
Ummmm...this Whole foods is low rent...perhaps I'm biased as I'm from TX. I try to visit WF in every city I visit. This is hand down the worst. I am aware that each WF carries products locally. How of the ever...upon entering the store if felt very unfamiliar...unkempt...and lacks organics... and the traditional vegan/ vegetarian options I'm accustomed too...the coffee bar is very unbecoming and it has pastries sitting out uncovered...the hot bar food and salad bars are messy and the food looks stale...the overall set up of this store is weird and makes it hard to navigate... Perhaps the employees are not oriented to how the prime at WF works...the cashiers response when I asked to scan my WF bar code was "well this is not on sale" who the hell was asking about a sale?...I merely wanted to scan my code as I am one checkin away from $10 off my purchase thanks to the new program WF is offering... Any rate this WF is below par and doesn't meet the expectations I am used to in the WF in TX...
