This place is nice. Have lots of grocery options so no worries there. They also have a lot of prepared foods hot and cold to choose from. Really good food especially the chili beans with meat and the vegan option both excellent.

Google
Make life easy and park in the garage, they validate. Wonderful options and staff was very helpful. Don't forget your own bags! I came back and updated my rating as I bought a rotisserie chicken and I thought it was just the skin that was dark, they were all the same color, and just cut into it and it's dry and overcooked. Everything else is great though.

Google
Great location. Decided to go here to get dinner (at the hot bar) and a few other things we needed. Great, organized, and clean. Well stocked, great security, great staff, great checkout process, and great food! The hot bar food was well stocked and delicious. They also have a parking deck on floor B1 (underground) and they validate your ticket for you at checkout for $10+ purchases. Overall, great Whole Foods. Will definitely return whenever I’m near the downtown area. :)👍

Google
The service here is good for the most part, no complaints there. The variety of selection could be better in grocery aisles, although there are good selection of fruits and hot sauce. Too many fake meat and tofu choices for my liking, but my real concern is the urine, puke, and fecal matter smell just walking up the sidewalk chestnut place. It makes me nauseous and physically ill. They need to power spray down that sidewalk on a daily basis because it is a health hazard.

Living in downtown Denver, Whole Foods Market has become a gem for my boyfriend and me. It’s just a 5-minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk from our apartment, making it super convenient for our weekly shopping trips. We love stopping by for lunch at their hot bar, which always has a delicious and diverse selection. Recently, we’ve shifted our grocery shopping to Whole Foods, and the difference is incredible. The food quality feels so much better, and I feel good about what we’re buying and eating, especially compared to Walmart or King Soopers. Their selection is amazing—almost all of my favorite processed and typically unhealthy foods have healthier alternatives with better ingredients. As someone who strives for a balanced and healthy diet without breaking the bank, Whole Foods has been a pleasant surprise. I always thought it would be significantly more expensive, but the prices are actually comparable to other stores. This has made our grocery shopping experience not only healthier but also more enjoyable and affordable. If you’re in downtown Denver, I highly recommend giving Whole Foods Market a try!

The market is situated in a pleasant location, offering a variety of fresh and organic products. It was my first time visiting this particular location. However, I noticed several empty shelves and a limited selection of some items. While the produce section was quite good, the same could not be said for the drinks or cheese selections.

Google
Okay, so Whole Foods Market at 1701 Wewatta St has some pros and cons. First off, the location is AMAZING – right behind Union Station! It's so convenient for tourists and locals alike to grab pretty much anything you might need, from personal care items to groceries. I was able to find everything I needed as a market. However, I was a little bummed by the ready-to-eat menu. Honestly, I was hoping for more variety, especially in the hot meal department. My stomach was definitely grumbling for more options there. On a different note, I felt incredibly safe with all the police officers present, even if they were just using the facilities. Overall, it's a great spot for essentials, but don't expect a huge selection of prepared hot meals.

Victor

Google
Nice size store with an acceptable variety of items, but unfortunately often suffers from inventory mismanagement. The same sections are frequently out of stock (bread, eggs, dairy, etc.), moldy produce sometimes remains on the shelves over the course of multiple days, some shelf sections look like herds of cocaine-fueled raccoons pillaged through them. Also, some employees are extremely unpleasant despite best efforts to be as friendly as possible. So are the police in the store (but that's not really a surprise...) This could be a great store if inventory and CS were improved.

Yelp
I was happy to see a supermarket in the area and especially happy it was whole foods. Came here a few times to grab fruits to have since it's especially difficult to get them in while on vacation. This is a big whole foods with lots of space between the different departments. I did notice the hot food area (buffet) was not the best, perhaps it was the time of day I was there. Cashiers were quick with my groceries and I was on my way.

Yelp
Like many Whole Foods Market across the country, this one has the same basic departments and specials. We decided to check out their prepared foods section and their Salad bar / Prepared Foods bar was priced at $11.99/lb. They also had sushi and poke to go, but for the price (most of them over $10 each) the portions were small. I decided to try their Asian bowls and got the Chicken teriyaki bowl. I got it with brown rice and light sauce. The meal was just OK...nothing that I would get again, but not bad for the $13 price point. The staff was really helpful and nice. Great spot right behind the Union Station building.

Yelp
This review is for the bakery! I appreciate all the beautiful options to select from and the great customer service I am always met with. If it's picking up a little sweet treat for myself after a hard day or a beautiful cake for my partners birthday - I can count on this bakery to come through!

Yelp
Just like with most Whole Foods, I was happy to know there is one close to Downtown Denver. Actually, it's across the street from Union Station which made me happy. The best thing about it is the fact that they had a coffee station and I was craving some Latte, which I usually find at my local La Colombe in Los Angeles! I will definitely be back when I return to Denver. Also, it's walking distance to 16th street market place.

Yelp
This is a massive modern facility. It's a full grocery store that includes a stand alone restaurant(Birdcall), a coffee stand, and juice bar, a full buffet(charged by weight), really nice health and beauty section. You can even drink here! I like to come here sometimes to hang out in the air conditioning and grab a light snack or a drink, use the wifi. They have some nice seating areas with big windows and an outdoor balcony upstairs. The hot buffet style food is pretty expensive and tends to look a lot better than it tastes. A single scoop of mashed potatoes could run you upwards of 12$ even if you think you are being careful. You are better off getting the pre-weighed pre-portioned food from the cold section, pizza station, sushi station, bakery, produce section. Because those are all a flat price. The floral department seems like a weird thing to mention but the floral offerings are really impressive at Whole Foods. Their bouquets look like wedding quality but for grocery store prices. Whole Foods caters to an upscale clientele so expect upscale prices. And the prices here have inflated a lot in the last year. I know a lot of places have inflated but Whole Foods really seems to be leading he inflation game. I'm constantly experiencing sticker shock even for things I've bought here many times in the past.

Yelp
I love this whole foods. It is full of good on - the - go meal options. Thursdays are BUY ONE GET ONE HALF OFF sushi! That's my jam. They have great produce and meats and are always super friendly. The location, smack dab in the middle of the city makes it perfect for neighborhood locals to grab groceries or meals to go quickly. They also have a nice set up for amazon package returns, which makes me life a whole lot easier.

Yelp
This was my pit spot during my stay here in Denver. I'm kinda jealous of this location because my WF hot bar is pretty grim. So many plant based options here. There not that expensive but having the Amazon app helps. I wish they had a PLNT burger joint here so my friend can try plant based meat. Friendly employees. Colorado has a bag tax lol .10 cents so bring a bag. They have an extensive selections of protein powders and h.b.a stuff that I wish I could carry back home. Located by Union Station.

Yelp
Got a slice of pizza notice it was cold I ask the cook guy if he could throw it in the oven again for a couple minutes he told me NO go use the microwave!! Such horrible and worthless service towards customers told him I didn't want to pay four dollars for a slice of pizza that I have to throw in the microwave and he walked off !

Yelp
We shop here regularly. The store is awesome. And safe - with 2-3 police officers in the store. Great seafood and vegetable/fruit at this store! And, an in-depth selection of alternative milks to buy and as a part of yogurt and ice cream choices Recommended!
google avatar

Yelp
This location is pretty busy which means fresh groceries and lunch food, particularly the hot food bar. Those items sell out SO fast around lunchtime! But the quality of the options and selection is nice. Indian, Korean, American options... I haven't been disappointed in what I've tried. When I'm needing something grab and go I usually get the poke bowls because the sushi here is very fresh! I walk here from my office and it always feels relatively safe for being so close to Union Station. There's usually security around the area. The environment at this location is fast paced, but you can find a quiet spot around if you're looking for a place to eat. Plenty of seating. Free parking directly next to the store if you spend $10, they'll give you a voucher. This is definitely a great perk especially given downtown parking situations.

Yelp
I go to this Whole Foods a lot, and although it is large, it gets a lot of traffic, so the time you go can really impact your experience. For example, the Hot Bar at 11:45 looks a lot different than the Hot Bar at 12:30. They do have a lot of unique and healthy foods, but sometimes I do get frustrated in here. Overall it's a great Whole Foods and the Birdcall+bar are are a nice addition. There's also a coffee bar and pizza section which is a must for me.

Yelp
When I was staying in Denver I was staying right across the street from Whole Foods. It was great because I was able to buy some souvenirs, a chicken sandwich from the chicken sandwich place, and a few groceries. It's your typical Whole Foods, very clean, reasonable prices, and so on and so on.
google avatar

Alli G.

Yelp
Experienced here are mostly good except for the people who feel the need to literally stalk you. Could really do without the check out guy literally following right up behind me checking out my stroller and bag, for whatever reason. Stunned both of us when I just happen to turn and catch him. Didn't do that for anyone else so it felt awkward and rude.

Yelp
Holy coperonies Ok, that isn't a real word, I know. What I mean by that is I've never been to any Whole foods where cops work there. I happened to be in Denver and it was the crack of dawn. Whole Foods opened at 7AM and I was standing by the front door waiting for them to open so I could get some breakfast. The person who came and unlocked the door was in fact a police officer, not a regular Whole Foods employee. When I was inside there were at least 4 police officers stationed there the whole day. I had a couple hours to kill so I took my time and was there at least 2 hours. On the one hand I guess it's a good thing they are there to protect people, but my guess is they're actually there to kick homeless people out. I was surprised by the amount of homeless people I saw outside the store and even inside the store. Now I myself probably looked homeless as I had been traveling for days without a shower. I have money and probably spent over $50 at that store, but they still kept walking around me giving me looks as if they were considering kicking me out. That's not a good feeling. Maybe they need some plain clothes cops, or just 2 cops. 4 feels like a lot and it felt like they worked for Whole Foods. So Whole Foods, do you employ cops now? I normally give 5 stars to every Whole Foods I've ever been in around the country, but I'm giving 3 as I don't like feeling how I did inside this store.

Yelp
I remember when I first moved away in 2016/17 they were building this WF. I was so upset that I didn't get to see it. But now that I am back, I am glad it is a part of the neighborhood! It isn't the biggest or has the most features out of WFs I have seen, but it definitely fits the bill for the neighborhood. There is underground parking (make sure you bring you bring your ticket in so they can validate it, or they will gouge you for $10!), with stairs and an elevator to bring you upstairs/downstairs. There is a large checkout area, and an almost equal size to the express lines. They have all of your typical WF offerings, and looks like even like a clothing/lifestyle section as well. Since I probably wouldn't fit (or look good) in any of it, I usually skip that area. The butcher, seafood, dairy, and bakery pretty much take up the back wall. There is a decent local beer selection (I will come here to check it out if I don't feel like fighting for parking at King Soopers), and the aisles are a decent size. One of my favorite things here though believe it or not, is the pizza. Each WF has their own "pizzeria" but I tell you what, I have been to over 40 WFs across many states, and this location has the best ones yet to date. Thankfully during covid times, you can still order/ get some! Speaking of ordering, you can order all sorts of stuff via tablets on this big wall. But for me, I kept it simple and just got pizza. They also have the hot and cold bars here, but they are at a minimum at the moment- but they did replace some of the trays with beer! haha. The people here are usually nice and so are the cops who usually keep an eye on things. Great addition to the neighborhood, glad I am finally able to experience it first hand. One more thing, if you have the Amazon app (and prime), make sure you scan your q-code for discounts! You can also get WF delivered (which came in clutch Saturday morning), although, I don't think they will deliver booze at this location...

When I get down to this part of the city, I enjoyed coming in here, always clean, the staff always friendly and it's a really cool area

Yelp
Wow! Is all I can say. The wife and I strolled around here shopping for a good two hours. We just wanted to look, bought a few things and basically just shopped. Been to Whole foods many times but this one is a different experience all in it's own. Were King Sooper people, so when people call this place "Whole paycheck" they're not kidding. Pricey, but once you visit you can see why. The quality, freshness and variety are far superior to King's. I purchased from the mac & cheese bar, my wife got some soap and a few other things that are unique to this store. Huge variety of ready to eat meals/items, so perfect for dinners that evening. We also ate at Birdcall while there and it was outstanding. Pro Tip- Free two-hour parking with purchase. Right next to Union Station. So, when I go down for happy hour next, I know where I'll be parking and getting a few things on the way home.

Yelp
This is my favorite wholefoods location in Denver. I eat mostly plant-based and they have so many plant-based options in the bakery and hot food bar. The Buffalo cauliflower bites are my absolutely favorite thing to get from the hot food bar. I also love that they've had self checkout for a long time. That line moves fast and I'm usually in and out of there quickly. When I worked downtown, I loved going here for lunch and eating upstairs, outside. It's a beautiful spot to eat lunch and get some work done. They have plenty of seating options inside and outside. I still love stopping here any time I'm in the area. They also have a lot of different food options from pizza to sandwiches to salads. And the location is amazing as it is right near union station and the free 16th street mall ride RTD is right there too.

Yelp
The best grocery store in downtown Denver! Although it's a bit overpriced, you get the freshest groceries, friendly staff and they even validate your parking. They have a ton of grab and go options as well. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great location just west of the Union Station train platform. A huge section of the store is dedicated to fresh cooked items and this is a great spot for lunch or dinner on the go. Large seating area upstairs to eat in. Salad bar, breakfast bar, Mac n cheese bar, deli, sushi , plenty of precooked and heat and eat items. Sooo much to choose from. Make sure you stop by their excellent seafood section. So many choices for fresh fish including whale soft shell crab, sushi grade tuna & salmon, poke and ceviche, and caviar. Thankfully I did not have the option to return directly home after my stop here.....otherwise I may have spent a fortune here. Oh... they also carry Sweet Action Ice cream pints.... Whisky Brickle is our family's favorite. Nom nom.
google avatar

Yelp
Wewatta location WF is definitely the best one in the Denver area. The parking is convenient and there's plenty of seating upstairs with a outdoor area for people watching. The salad bar here offers the most options for the pickiest eaters. My lunch consisted of macaroni, olives, goat cheese, pulled pork, tapioca pudding, and three different types of beets. They even have a stand making Banh Mi sandwiches brb for that next time. Oh forgot to mention Birdcall the best chicken ever get some!

Yelp
HUGE STORE ! After landing at Denver Airport around 1.15pm, taking a shuttle to pick up our luggage, jumping on a car rental bus to get to the car rental lot in the middle of nowhere we were heading to our rental house in the Highlands area of Denver. Of course it was in the middle of a heatwave at 95F and I needed a some beer. EXIT STAGE LEFT ! We located this Whole Foods Market on the way but despite looking hard we couldn't find their parking lot ( my wife assumed they didn't have one ) so we parked in a metered street spot a few doors away. My wife and I entered the store around 3.30pm...it looked a huge bright airy space. A female barista at the espresso bar just inside the entrance informed us there was an underground parking lot. I hit BOOZE ALLEY looking for a hazy juicy IPA. Not being real familiar with Colorado beer except what I see at our local Whole Foods in Del Mar, CA...Oskar Blues and New Belgium I ambled up and down the beer aisle looking for something familiar. NOTHING ! I ended up grabbing a 6 pack of Great Divide Hazy IPA...I knew this brand very vaguely from years ago ( it wasn't that good ). My wife picked up some empanadas for emergency food and some fresh fruit for breakfast. We checked out fast and hit the road for our vacation house. IT'S ALL GOOD !

Yelp
What a great experience today. I was delighted in Whole Foods today. I asked an employee about Paleo frozen fruit bars and he wasn't sure so the employee said, "that is something we should know or need to know so let me find out." While many people say this just to say it, this employee pulled out a notepad and wrote it down. I am a manager and this is exactly a quality I would look for in someone. Even if he does not follow up on it, in that moment I was blown away and delighted. I also had a very pleasant convo with the employee that checked out my groceries. We talked about Paleo and other diets as well. Genuinely seemed to be a very nice and caring person, not just someone who has to deal with yet another customer. I am happy with my service at places quite a lot, but rarely am I delighted. Today I was delighted. It put me in a great mood walking out the door. What a difference outstanding folks/customer service can make. Kudos Whole Foods and kudos to the 2 folks that helped me out and made my day. Just in case they get any reward for positive reviews, one is a gentleman that was working in frozen foods around 1130 this morning and the check out person is a taller blonde that was working in one of the middle check out stalls around the same time.

Yelp
A hidden gem in the heart of logo if you're looking to get work done with people watching. Parking: plenty of underground parking. Free with parking validation (purchase in WFs $10 or more) for first two hours Outside Wholefoods: I can't sugar coat the amount of homeless in the area. Nuzzled between Union train station and another rail line... some would classify it as a freak show at times. On a brighter note, there's occasional live music during the day. Everything from funk, singer songwriters to a cellist playing their hearts out while you work! Inside Wholefoods: It's a grocery store downstairs. You got your coffee (Allegra Coffee shop), lunch (snack bar, hot/cold foods, fresh to order foods) and my personal favorite: coconut water $2. If you're feeling carb'y, try the sea salt rosemary braided bread $2. Upstairs: Plenty of space with a variety of chairs from a wooden bench to individual black sidechairs. My peresonal favorite is the Eames black side chair. I've gone as long as 3-4 hours sitting in it. Bathroom code: keep receipt from your Wholefoods purchase. It has your bathroom code Wifi: WholeFoodsMarket... free and reliable

Yelp
This is a first for Whole Foods in Colorado. The majority of the space is dedicated to prepared foods, with a handful of independent restaurants like Tel Aviv (Mediterranean), Asian Bowls, and Bird Call (fried chicken sandwiches). There is at Mac and cheese bar, and your traditional Whole Food staples like pizza, salad bar and hot entree you'd get any While Foods Market. Near the beautiful Union Stain, this Whole Foods continues to deliver the high quality produce, meats, bakery and cheeses you're used to getting from the high-end grocer.

Yelp
Lucky me! Yelp got me in to the official press/inaugural day! This store rocked my world and probably everyone that was present that night of November 13! Fifty something thousand sq of prime space. Over thirty three thousand sq of that is prepared food. You can't beat that! There's the Mac n Cheese Bar and the Pizza Bar. The cheese station. Prob my fave section. Bubbly warm cheese with meat and bread served that night. No wonder I got stuck there. Wouldn't you?:) the tall tower of cheese curated and loved by their expert cheese monger. Ahh heaven! The Happy Hour $1 oysters every Friday. I've been back three times since then. The order by the computer Black Bird Sandwiches. Ready for you in 5 minutes to picked up by the bar. Oh yeah! The bar! There's one inside! They serve a limited amount of good beer and wine. No bourbon :( You're into Poke Bowls? They have that! A carnivore? Follow me! I know where that is! All the way to the back where you can also see thru the glass a couple of guys loading sausages into their casings. No less than the Colorado Governor and the Denver Mayor were present that night. Speech and all:) And the most adorable area in this awesome Flagship store? The lounge upstairs. It's velvet lined couches were so different that it's absolutely thoughtful! From there you can step out into the balcony and enjoy the prime view!! You've always wanted a kindle or wanted to see If Alexa is for you? There's an actual physical store inside. Yes with an amazon expert gadget on staff. Free parking underground! Validated by the cashier! Don't forget! Or else.... Thank you my dear Megan for getting me in! Not only was the opportunity to enjoy the inaugural day but the food, and the two political figures in person and ended up talking to one(without knowing who he was) lol was priceless! Lastly this awesome idea is all Jeff Bezo's? That's why you're you! But what about an Amazon Locker too? Thx!

Yelp
Spacious & Packed This new Whole Foods in Northwest Lodo is amazing. I am blown away by how open and spacious the aisles are. It's a wonderful shopping experience. There is plenty of stuff to choose from, too. Shop your heart out. There is also an Amazon store inside. Check it out!!

Yelp
It's Whole Foods & it's COVID so...lower your expectations and know what you're getting yourself into! I stopped by to be pleasantly surprised they actually had food on the former salad bar line! Everything is still pretty freshly made. Granted, it's prepackaged but totally worth it. Birdcall, the sushi area and other hot foods are still available! Most if not all of the employees & customers had masks, a pleasant surprise given what I tend to see in the burbs.

Yelp
Ahhh Whole Foods Market UNION STATION... Yes you are BRAND New in my eyes when you open your doors last year. I want to like you as in terms to be a fan but for now you received 3 stars in my books. YES, things in Whole Foods are NEVER Cheap aka Expensive. But because you carry that certain brand with MORE Variety as compared to my local King Soopers store, you received that 3.5 stars. Indeed I am willing to commute just to purchase that certain brand from snacks, chips, Halal Chicken Nuggets or Tenders, Halal Beef Bulgogi Entrée and Artisan Halal Chicken Broth to boot! The staffs are indeed very accommodating, efficient and willing to assist me whenever I ask for something or if I cannot find certain items etc. In terms of their pre-made food, so far I have only try the Ceviche/Poke aka the Seafood Salad Bar. They are doable. Nothing stood out or mind blowing. My least favorite item is the Octopus Ceviche. They tend to be too watery and the taste of it, was a little weird. Those Octopus Ceviche was NOT I was expecting at all. For the Shrimp and Crab Ceviche, they tend to put those Kanimi Crab aka Imitation Crab flakes. Other than that, I also can find many more Local Colorado based companies from desserts, granolas, honey and snacks as compared to the local King Soopers. Every single time, whenever at the Checkout, the staff will ask if I have park my vehicle at the designated parking lot. They WILL Validate your parking ticket provided you park at the allocated garage parking. Since I don't drive, just want to give a heads up to everyone. But from what I have heard from my friends who parked at the designated Garage Parking, its a little hassle to get in and out due to the never-ending construction around this Whole Foods Market Union Station building. Hence plan accordingly. I will definitely returning to this Whole Foods Union Station in a heartbeat, due to its convenient location and from where I am commuting. Yelp
So we have been looking froward to the Whole Foods takeover at union station...definitely met or exceeded expectations. Love the second level to hang, drink and watch the people skittering about below. Inside I loved the Amazon technology kiosk. Bird call and the telaviv food options were really stand outs. As always, peripheral departments with ready to eat offerings were yummy! Not somewhere I will Shop everyday but it's great for fun occasions and specific meet-ups for food!

Yelp
I work for a tech company downtown Denver near this Whole Foods and between all the employees we give this store a LOT of business in the morning. Previous to today, many of us come in to get our breakfast and lunch and for the most part, have had good experiences.... Until today. I bought a Denver breakfast burrito as I do most mornings and got a few other items for coworkers. All of them were made with eggs in one fashion or another. Today, after my first bite, I noticed the eggs were black inside of them. I asked my coworkers and all our food had the same story. I walked back over and asked to speak with a manager out of concern we'd consumed food that could lead to illness. He assured me it was fine, that this is how eggs oxidize. In all my years of living, having eggs almost every morning, this is not something I have ever encountered. Conveniently the managers were in a meeting so I had to wait for that to finish to talk to one. He apologized and offered to refund my money. As I'm standing there waiting, multiple people started to funnel in with partially eaten food containing these black eggs. The manager told us the team was well aware of the occurrence after noticing it upon making the food prior and that it was safe to eat. My concern is this, regardless of if it's safe or not, I'm not food expert, how is an establishment, especially one charging a premium for quality of ingredients going to knowingly sell tarnished food that to anyone in their right mind would wonder if it's safe to eat that hasn't eaten black eggs. Even if it is safe, I don't want them. And especially for a little $7 breakfast burrito that I've already accepted is made with absolute minimal meat compared to what you'd get at an actual breakfast place. I appreciate the refund, and offering to comp an alternative but it would be unrealistic to expect a good review from something that you can't claim was a mistake or accident with knowledge of it prior to the actual unfavorable outcome in an instance that was fully preventable. I'm fine with paying $6 for a small bottle of juice knowing it's sourced appropriately and provides me with assurance for consistency and quality as I would be for a little $7 breakfast burrito which even lists it comes from liquid eggs as a handicap, but give me black eggs, oxidized or not and you best believe I'm gonna march my happy butt back over there to ask who's bright idea that one was.

Yelp
To me this is the best Whole Foods in Denver. It's really large, so even if there are a lot of people, they are very spread out, so it doesn't feel so crowded. The fish, meat and cheese selections are awesome.

Yelp
I was here the evening of opening day. I was at the train station waiting for the train to take my Mom home. She decided she wanted a little something to eat. She had heard they were opening on the news and had a Mac and Cheese Bar. Off I ventured from Union Station... up the stairs... down the elevator... along track 8.. and then across a small park and there is was gleaming in the darkness. Literally lighting up the block. So many people inside and out. Cars and bikes and people with dogs. Inside was like black Friday morning when the last Cabbage Patch Kid is on the shelf. People walking in all directions, Trying to figure out where things are.. standing in line over food bars with everything you could think of. 8 different kinds of Mac and Cheese and everything else you could imagine lined the hot bars.. a large salad and cold bar.. other hot foods.. sandwiches and pizza and Indian food.. .OH MY! I made my away around several times... finally found the right container and the right lid to get some Mac and Cheese because I knew I would only get a few bites and that would go on the train for a late night snack for mom. Then I found my way to the other things and the right container and decided we could have a thanksgivingesque dinner.. so Her Roasted Turkey.. Potatoes, sweet potatoes and some roasted Brussels fit the bill. Everything was fresh and hot and really tasty once I made my way to the register.... finally found a fork after about 5 mins of searching.. and made my way back to Union station to eat. It was am experience and I think things will be different as it evolves into a working store. What seems a good place for things often changes a little internally when people step in and when things aren't so busy I will venture back perhaps for a look around. I got at text at 3 am.. the Mac and cheese that went immediately into her travel bag after we both got a fork full was indeed a great late night snack. Whole Foods Union Station= Mom Approved!

Yelp
I actually resisted this Whole Foods location. I thought the parking would be annoying (but there's free 2 Hours of shopping) and the location wouldn't have everything I wanted (not true, way less busy than the cherry creek location). Guess there really isn't anything bad about this Whole Foods. The staff is always friendly and willing to help.

Yelp
Just a couple updates: -WF needs to get with the program. MyColorado ID is an officially recognized Colorado form if identification! Update your policies. -The pizza bar is very inconsistent and after enough pick ups that were sub par, I've stopped picking up here. -bakery also inconsistent in their quality and inventory. No bagels in a bakery in the morning us just kind of unacceptable. I'd don't think flour is on the supply chain shortage list.

Yelp
Store is nice albeit a bit cramped. Freezer section is limited. Lower star rating is for a few reasons: 1) upstairs seating area does not seem to have a/c, unless it's not turned on. 2) even with on-site security homeless people camp out at entry asking for money. This weekend, a homeless guy was actually powdering his body inside the second floor cafe seating area. 3) rampant drug dealing just outside their entrance. Just sit outside on the second floor patio and pay attention. 4) clueless millennials and gen zers who have no common sense. 5) no free parking. $10 at the store gets you 2 hours of free parking. 6) the last time I was there someone asked me for money or my food on the second floor, and cheap peeps wander up there and want the bathroom code every couple of minutes. You get the picture. The good. Buffet style bar coming back after the pandemic.

Yelp
Newish location that is the standard of an whole food experience! You walk in and you are in the land of food paradise! Can you tell I am a lover of Whole Foods hehehe!! Depending on what you are coming in for they have all to satisfy those needs. Their fruit and veggie area is so lovely! They have like most places the fruits sliced so you can see inside of a sample one. The colors make me so happy as well. If you can't decided on some food that Is actually from Whole Foods they do have a birdcall located inside as well. There is a decent amount of sitting in there. There is also a seating area upstairs that is very nice. Bathrooms are located upstairs and you need a code to get in. The code is shown on the bottom of your receipt. Parking is inside a garage but it's really tight if you have a truck rather than a car. But I believe it's free up to 2 hours with receipt validation. This location is great to get what you need for your meals and the employees seem very nice as well!

Yelp
Very clean, well organized store. The employees were all nice, polite and friendly. Many choices in every aisle. They carried everything I needed. The checkout was easy. The clerk thoughtfully helped me organize my bag so I could get it to the hotel. Thanks.

Yelp
Whole Foods is amazing!!! Today was my first time visiting Whole Foods, and all I can say is the experience was amazing. As soon as I stepped in I thought I was in the Hogwarts Food Hall, just magical! Pizza everywhere, cakes stacked up in every direction, I wanted to buy everything, whatever the cost!! I'll definitely be coming back here again soon for lunch.

Yelp
Not all Whole Foods are created equally. Consistency is key in business. Why Whole Foods has one location that is great (Cherry Creek for example) and one that is poorly managed (Union Station) is beyond me. Moldy produce: On several occasions I've seen molded strawberries put out for sale, and a good half our after alerting management, would find that they didn't bother sending anyone to remove the molded strawberries. Incorrect Pricing: I've gotten to the habit of taking pictures of some of the price tags on the shelf because on almost every occasion I have shopped there, at least one item was incorrect at the register (obviously not to the shopper's favor). Old Food: Sometimes the sushi looks like it's been out for a while. It's important to look carefully first because it'll be mixed in with freshly brought out sushi. Twice now I've gotten the sesame balls that when brought home, tasted like it's been put out for a few days. Considering that Whole Foods is significantly more expensive than the King Soopers a few blocks away, I expect that if I pay more for the same items, that I would have a better experience, or at the least, a similar experience, justifying the cost. But honestly, this location falls flat and it's clearly a management problem. Friendly Staff: Really the staff working the floor there are friendly and accommodating in helping find items.

Yelp
Living downtown trying to find a clean, spacious and friendly grocery store can be challenging. This Whole Foods was well stocked up, and every employee I ran into was incredibly helpful going the extra mile for me when they were out of baking yeast. The butcher and fish station were transparent and honest and recommended the best and freshest filets and fish available. I will be back here for the majority of my shopping

Yelp
This is a very clean WF! Are at the hot bar. The beef and broccoli was a little too wet and saucy but the salad bar was fresh and well maintained. Lots of options and the staff were super nice. The a la carte items that are hot are sometimes sitting there for hours but a majority were relatively fresh.

Yelp
Visited the hot bar today.....it's hit and miss in other cities lately since COVID. This location OMG, the Indian & Chinese selections were so good. So many options at this location. Salad bar looked great also. I'll most likely be back tonight. Only thing rubbed me wrong was the security/ police staring. I am cute today so they might just be getting in however 3 of them staring

Yelp
Wow!!! Whole Foods on another level!!!! This place is huge, and has anything & everything you could want. Seriously. They even have a little Amazon store set up where you can buy a few niche tech items. Kind of cool to see when you're in a grocery store. Fresh cooked pizza, the Mac and cheese bar, sandwich ordering kiosks, screens everywhere to update you on your order status...Whole Foods/Amazon has really taken out all of the stops with this location. We came in on a Friday night after a fantastic meal downtown. It was busy, but not overly so. Having heard so much about the new Whole Foods, checking it out was a must. At this point they had just been open for about a week. The staff is still getting settled in, but everyone we dealt with was awesome and seemed happy to be there. The gentleman at the seafood counter was fantastic, and let me sample a couple of things while I was placing my order. Can you believe that they have fresh, never frozen yellow fin tuna???? ($27.99/lb, but still, so cool) Chris at the bar was very friendly, accommodating, and we enjoyed his company. I got a half dozen oysters and wanted to grab a beverage while I ate them. They have beer and wine, and I am pretty sure there are also already a couple of "regulars" who have picked Whole Foods as their watering hole. I've said enough for now. You're just going to have to go and check it out for yourself. Pro-tip: They DO have parking. Two hours free as a matter of fact, if you validate at the register when making a purchase. Pro-tip 2: Friday nights they offer any of their oysters for $1 each.

Yelp
Fancy, fancy, fancy! The sparkly new downtown Denver Whole Foods is exactly what you'd imagine: a glorious, food-loving wonderland equipped with all the bells and whistles. A few highlights for me: + Two floors! In addition to SO MUCH good stuff on the main level, there's a second floor for chillin' with a snack, getting some work done, and/or taking in the really great views. + Cheese. So much of it. Their specialty section is really killer--I bought six different cheeses, some olives, and charcuterie for holiday gatherings all of it was a hit. Their team members in that section were extra helpful and even gave us a yummy raclette sample while answering one of our questions. Hell yeah! + Does being in a Whole Foods give you a weird craving for a fried chicken sandwich and a beer? No? Well, if it does, they've got that covered with Birdcall. The popular Denver sammie shop adds it's second location inside of this WFM, complete with local beers and a rad ordering system. Get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (you're welcome). Speaking of cool ordering systems, there's another area for ordering Tel Aviv street food and poke bowls from a digital screen. Cool concept! FYI, their parking lot was full when we went (it *was* the weekend befor Thanksgiving) and we had to find metered parking nearby--not ideal if you're buying a bunch of groceries, but it wasn't a huge deal. I think the parking lot will probably be the biggest gripe about this store, but to be honest, *all* Whole Foods parking lots are pretty horrendous (I therefore don't judge on the parking sitch). While this won't be my weekly shopping destination, I'll definitely be stopping here for healthy lunches downtown and the occasional splurge.

Yelp
The customer service here was top notch. I came three days before Christmas and it was a madhouse. Among other things, I was picking up vegan Mac and cheese for a co worker from the outstanding Mac and cheese bar they have. Unfortunately when I arrived, no vegan Mac and cheese. I asked if they had any in a pre packaged area and the employee asked prep Foods if they could make some and they did! I couldn't believe it and was a testament to their customer service philosophy. I also picked up hatch green chili and lobster Mac and cheese for the hubs and I along with delicious Peruvian chili lime grilled zucchini. I don't live in the downtown area so for the traffic and parking alone this won't be my regular Whole Foods. But if I'm in the area during off hours I would definitely stop in again.

Yelp
Woof. This Whole Foods location started out shiny and new and amazing (and anyone who knows me knows that I was SUPER PUMPED for the opening), but has quickly deteriorated. I come here pretty often (1-2 times a week) as I work close. I considered their opening to be a game-changer, but I'll probably only go here for packaged groceries (not prepared items) from now on. Since they opened in November, I've had the following issues: - Lack of decent veggie/vegan options, especially compared to other WF locations. One time I saw "steamed tofu" in the hot bar. Way to perpetuate a stereotype that plant based food is bland, Whole Foods. Nobody wants that crap. - Bacon in a clearly labeled vegetarian breakfast burrito - Iced latte that tasted like what I imagine burning car belts might taste like - I tossed it once I was outside - Cut mango that has turned brown within a day - Food is egregiously mislabeled. I once saw a container of prepared baked tofu labeled as chicken. - Stuff in the hot bar that's a liability waiting to happen. Shakshuka (or anything with half-poached eggs) is a bad choice for buffet food, y'all. Take it out before someone gets sick (you'll thank me later, Whole Foods) The icing on the cake was when I went in this morning for a breakfast burrito only to find it mushy on one side and brown, scorched, and greasy on the other side (after I get back to my desk, of course). I've had to go back and return stuff to this store before (see veggie burrito with bacon example above) and I'm freaking annoyed that I'll have to do it again. Plus, I know they'll just return the price onto a gift card without so much as an apology which is highly unsatisfying and doesn't really effect change which is what I'd prefer (not some other crappy thing from their crappy hot bar).

Yelp
This is a stunning Whole Foods in Colorado. It's still crowded due to curiosity but well worth the trip. The produce display is gorgeous. It's so colorful underneath the sign. The interior of this place resembles that of Union Station. I love that you can open the cases to get desserts and treats now on your own. Compared to other Whole Foods I have been to, this one was made for those that like to do things on their own or like the conversations and employee contact. You can slice your own bread and order your own food. It's great for those with social anxiety. There's more express checkouts than other Whole Foods, which is a bonus for those just getting lunch. Everyone is complaining about parking but I guess that would depend on the time of day. I went there around 10:00 and there were plenty of spaces. Getting in and out was similar to the parking lot at IKEA.
