I had a very disturbing experience at the butcher counter. A white staff member told me to stay in line, but then immediately turned to serve white customers who had just walked up. I also noticed another Asian couple being asked to wait in line as well. When I saw him serving the walk-up customer, I politely asked why they were being helped first. He completely ignored my question and pretended not to hear me, leaving me standing there without any explanation - really upset me. This behavior felt discriminatory and gave the impression of racism. Whether intentional or not, customers should be treated equally and served in the order they arrive. Being ignored after asking a reasonable question made the situation even more upsetting. This experience seriously damaged my trust in this establishment. I hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures all customers are treated with fairness and respect.

The meat section is poorly organized. They have very long confusing lines and at times there are nobidy serving at the counter even though customer line goes around the corner. It is faster to raise your own chicken and butcher it yourself.

They’re scamming us with their bulk coffee. it’s advertised at $10.99/lb but when you go pay it’s listed as $13.79/lb. If you complain, the staff is polite and helpful, and they’ll reduce the price just for you, but everyone not paying attention is out of luck as these dishonest business practices become more common. I go here every time I need genuine organic and tasteful stuff. The place is buzzing pretty much anytime I went there. Pretty painful to find a parking spot, also every time I go there. The selection of fruits and vegetables, especially organic stuff is awesome. There is a pretty large spread of lunch and dinner dishes warm and steaming pretty much all day. My fav is the olive condiment bar, bakery and the cheese selection. Self checkout is cool.

I as foreigner who traveling worldwide a lot don’t see any organic foods in this shop too. Specially fruits . Taste is same as other grocery stores in the USA . Everything chemicals . Also the prices at checkout are different with the tags that is extortion .

Whole Foods... lovely produce, and as soon as you walk in it smells like fresh flowers and a slight clean scent of herbal essential oils. Always happy to grab my organic chicken livers here for my home made cat food and always love browsing the skin care and vitamin supplements aisle. Ideal time to shop is 8:30am on Sunday mornings... see you by the avocadoes!

I've always loved fresh orange juice, so I went to Whole Foods to buy one (by the way, they don't have their machine anymore). When I got home, I started drinking it, but the flavor seemed a bit off. I didn't think much of it at first, but by the third sip, I noticed another label underneath the one on the bottle. When I tried peeling it off, I saw a different "packed on" date underneath. This is really concerning--are they reusing their products?! I'm so disappointed. Even though the drink was only $8.49, I feel like I lost more than just the money. UPDATE: I did contact you through the link you provided , and after waiting on hold for several minutes(for each answer), the only solution the representative offered was a refund of $8.49... really?? I'm not asking for more, but can you at least look into the real issue and fix it?

This review is solely based off of Whole Foods Market's bakery- the cakes in specific. The bakers know what they are doing and will ensure you with a purchase that is delicious, moist, and pretty decently priced. The store is big in size, clean, and you are bound to find exactly what you need in one location. It doesn't really get better than this. 5 stars.

I've shopped here at Whole Foods Market a few times over the years, but apparently, have never reviewed this. Anyways, pricier market, but higher quality. Some interesting beer flavors that peaked my interest. Also a couple of new variety of grapes that I saw too.

8 am means that the items on the buffet area should be stiocked, ready to go for customers. It's always the same lady who puts in spoons.., lettuce not out.. the dressings arent out, food looks old, prices suck. Workers look unhappy.

Ambiance is pretty good. Lot of people shop here too so that's a good sign. Their produce selection's also great. Food's always warm too

I was shopping at Wholefoods this Fremont location on Feb 7 at around 10am. I was looking for a herbal supplement and saw a female staff (black hair) and asked if she could help. She answered rudely and said " I am on a break" amd she left. Then I saw her again walking to back to the supplement area and so I asked if she could ask someone to help. She did not say anything and left ..having a dish in her mouth. what an attitude!. Wholefoods should train these people to have more Customer Service.

BAKERY REVIEW: I've always enjoyed all the baked goods at Whole Foods. They have many options for special dietary restrictions, like vegan donuts, that actually don't taste disgusting. I love their berry chantilly cakes, and have ordered them a few times. It's light and fluffy with lots of berries. The sponge is moist and it's not overly sweet. Perfect for birthdays.

This is the Whole Foods we go to because this is the closest to us (prefer driving here vs Dublin). Every time we come here we haven't had a negative experience - store is clean, organize and staff that we interact with are generally friendly, shout out to the seafood counter crew who are always nice and patient The parking lot can get full but we just time our visit better. Will keep coming here since as mentioned, this is the closest Whole Foods to us.

WF doesn't provide full refunds on recalled items. I went to Whole Foods today because I received an email from them stating to visit a store to get a refund on recalled waffles. I was only refunded half of what I paid because according to their customer service staff "...the system is only allowing me to refund this amount." I didn't protest as I was in a hurry and with my child. Cashiers need more training. At checkout, my cashier had no idea how to process a store card nor how to process payment via Amazon app. Myself and the cashier went back and forth and spent too much time trying to figure out the hold up. It was because of her lack of training and knowledge. All the while this is happening, I have my child who is becoming very antsy and I'm frustrated that this visit to Whole Foods dragged on for as long as it did. Also, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT before leaving. Every cashier has failed to see the huge yellow sticker on products that says "50% off with this coupon". I have easily lost out on so much savings because of their negligence. The only plus side to this store is their Fish/Seafood counter. Love the selection and the staff there are rockstars!

Our local grocery store and closest Whole Foods! Always love coming here as the quality of their products are top notch, however prices in general here are always high! We usually come for specific items. This location isn't the best of service, sometimes out of stock of the items we look for most and sometimes you'll see homeless loitering. It's also not the best designed Whole Foods. It's on the smaller end and the store isn't as tidy as other locations.

The Whole Foods store in Fremont is generally good, although parking can be a challenge at times. Whole Foods delivery is another thing. Shoppers must toss items in a bag without checking freshness, expiration dates, and packing carefully. I recently ordered chocolate covered strawberries as a gift and they were old, one was badly bruised and developed mold by the next day. When I order prepared meals, the use by date is a day or two for all meals. I thought this may help me, but easier to shop elsewhere when I cannot get parking.

This review is only for their cakes. I am a big fan of their Chantilly cakes but thought to try something different for my daughter's birthday this time. Bought their 6 inch Chocolate raspberry cream cake. The cake was very moist, with layers of rich chocolate sponge cake topped with sweetness of raspberry cream. It was not very sweet but at the same time didn't feel tart at all. It was just perfect. Every one in our group praised how good the cake was. Everyone finished their slice. It was totally worth it. Total cost was $28 I think.

Came to whole foods. I scanned the discount app on Amazon. Tbh it was a zero discount. I bought short flower bouquet for my moms bday and 4 tarts for my coworkers. The flowers were okay...some were dried. And the tarts were very yummy I bought another 4 for myself to try it. But There was no discount on either of the items i bought. So I'm kind of bummed.

Whole Foods Market is a grocery store that stocks organic produces, which are sold at higher prices. I don't usually go here, because of that, but I do like to come here once a while to try their products compare to ones that I usually get from typical grocery stores. It also has other vendors that serve pizzas, deli, and other types of food. They also have a buffet full of food that we can get. I also like their to-go meals since they seem fresh, healthy, and tasty. The last time I got one, it tastes really good. Again, it's not somewhere I go for groceries usually due to expensive costs, but it's nice to come here once a while to get organic, healthy foods.

Berry Chantilly cake. It's a tall cake and I think it could serve about 10 people if cutting small slices. At first, I thought the cake looked super loaded with cream, but it does have berries inside. Nice combination. Whole Foods can also write happy birthday or anything on the cake for free. The small cake was about $30 (tax included).

Quick shout out to the staff at the butcher counter the days before Thanksgiving - obviously a very busy time and it seemed there was a new process in place for the ordering and pickup of catering orders. Ruben was especially accommodating and delightful, and it was appreciated.

This review is for the pizza. I picked a whole pepperoni pizza and when I arrived it was literally just out of the oven. When I got it home to eat it, it tasted different than what I normally get when I order by the slice. Cheese was salty and rubbery. It was no inedible that I had to throw it away. Little Cesar's $5 pizza tasted better than what I ordered from WF for $15. Huge disappointment from a store that is known for their good food. Never again. Ps. Cashiers are also incredibly grumpy.

Stop by whole food to return something from AmaZon on Friday after work, very efficient after you request the return code! Enjoy shopping around after return is done. Love the fresh orange juice is back, I ended up getting a few sale items from the meat and seafood station including whole chicken, king crab and lamb chop! The price at Costco is cheaper but the quality at wholefood is definitely higher! Love the ambiance, always love their displays!

I love Whole Foods, but when an order is cancelled practically last minute during a celebration, that is NOT okay. My wife ordered 2 fruit tarts Thursday night (25th of July 2024) via Amazon's Whole Foods Market and the order was confirmed. The day of pick-up 28th of July, my wife received a text at 7:45 AM that the order was cancelled by Whole Foods when the pick-up time was 9 AM. Talk about causing lots of stress and chaos for a birthday celebration. There was no attempt by Whole Foods at amending the situation.

double check everything you get here... dates are expired... veggies in packaging are not fresh... and just today, my husband ordered chicken sausage but was given pork sausage! My husband did not read the label when he was handed the package--he trusted that they filled his order. I don't eat pork and was really horrified when I cut into the sausage and saw that it was pork! Watch out shopping here...

This review is specifically for the cakes behind the counter, the rest of the store is fine, and I don't have anything to complain about. Recently the whole food bakery has been getting a lot of hype on TikTok for their cakes. Unfortunately, I fell sucker to the hype despite previously purchasing a birthday cake for myself here and being extremely disappointed. Yesterday, I purchased a cake called "Death by Chocolate," for my mom's birthday. The presentation of the cake was quite nice and seemed promising -- a 6 inch cake with chocolate crumb coating and chocolate ice piped on top. The name gave me the impression that our taste buds were going to be taken to chocolate heaven. One hour after purchasing the cake, we sang happy birthday and cut into the cake. When cutting, we noticed it was quite crunchy, which I thought meant there might be some cool crunch cookie action inside. Upon first bite, I realized it was actually ice. The mousse inside the cake was basically crunchy slush, how disappointing. On top of that, the cake and rest of the icing was quite flavorless. Even the fudgey bottom was pretty weak on the chocolate flavor. I question if this cake even has any really chocolate in the recipe. I think even a sugar free dessert would taste better and this didn't claim to be sugar free. After eating this "death by chocolate" cake, I'm still very much alive and left disappointed with a lame half eaten chocolate cake. The other cake I've purchased from here is the tiramisu cake, which has a horrible eggy taste. That was one of the few cakes that got thrown away after a week of just sitting in the fridge (our family never lets cake go unfinished usually). Idk if Whole Foods is sponsoring ppl on TikTok to promote their cakes, or perhaps it's just this location not doing the cake justice, but I've never been more disappointed in cakes. This is just a warning to others who don't want to disappoint others on their bday with a terrible cake. For $30 you can get much tastier cakes from elsewhere.

The employees here are all very nice so they get 5 stars. This whole foods is always out of everything!! It's so irritating, not sure if its the people in fremont that buy everything or this location just doesn't have a big stock. Didn't deal with this at any other whole foods.

This is a smaller sized Whole Foods located near the Fremont Bart station. The parking lot has two small entrance/exists, making it difficult to get in and out of the plaza. Parking is quite limited, so it's always a headache coming here. The inventory runs out quickly here, so I'd suggest getting here in the mornings if you can.

There's a seating area outside and it's nice to eat cake with friends. Tastes better late at night for sure hehe Chantilly, pistachio, carrot and tiramisu cake. Tried them all. All really great and differs based on my cravings but chantilly is definitely the best, never gets old. Great when they sell it buy 2 for $7 if I remember correctly.

This is my daughter, and I second times here the staffs are wonderful. I was looking for a rotisserie chicken. The Manger Dale and Manger Luke are so wonderful they went in the back to find out how the chicken will be done. They are going out their way to make customers happy. Thank you so much. Also, last and this week, we look at the breads . The 2 female staff and male staff knowledge us and help us. Thank you all the managers and all staff at the whole foods great services . When I lived in Fremont, this was my local Whole Foods market. I have no complaints on the staff and produce but you have to go in the mornings or during regular working hours (Before 5pm on weekdays) to avoid the road rage and mean customers. They get the weirdest customers and because of that, I appreciate the employees more. Predators who decide to check if their high beams are working when you are parked in front of them so they can get a good look, wannabe influencers whose card gets declined three times and then they wait for the cashiers to put everything in their cart even after they already started ringing the next customer up, tweaked out homeless people occasionally, beauty "gurus" who glare at another attractive women on sight, guys who look like they clearly are high from their bloodshot eyes... the team here needs way more recognition than any other Whole Foods I've been too.

This review is for the cake and bakery area. I never go out of my way to write a bad review, but the customer service was terrible by the lady who was working the cake area. They ran out of berry chantilly cake completely, they said they didn't have enough bakers. So I opted for the strawberry shortcake and asked if she could write happy birthday on the cake, she made an excuse that the decorator is on lunch and she couldn't write it for us. I asked if we can write it ourselves since we wanted the cake to be personal, but she said sorry you can go to target and buy a happy birthday sign.... I've never been to a store bakery for a cake where they couldn't do simple writing. It was a really upsetting experience because I always buy my cakes at Whole Foods for special occasions but my experience here is deterring me from coming back.

Wasted my time driving to Whole Foods twice in 18 hours. Why advertise your coffee bar hours when you're literaly never open. I tried yesterday afternoon and tried again this morning during their hours they put right at the coffee bar and both times were closed. Wasted my time and gas!!

They charged two dollar extra for my sandwich. It says one protein included on the sheet. I chose one protein that was not extra. It's supposed to be $10. I said you charge me for extra protein accidentally. She said we charge for protein. I said ooh but 1 protein is included. she said no. not going to fight for $2. whole food up your standards. or at least change your ordering form to no protein included.

I've been to many Whole Foods Markets and appreciate the variety of items they carry. Soup, pizza, sandwich, sushi, and salad bar (though sparse now due to COVID), cheese, olive and meats for a beautiful charcuterie board and of course, that bakery! I can never just look... The sweet petites of various tarts and cheesecakes are wonderful...especially, my new fave the tiramisu! Light yet rich with a wonderful flavor and texture. The berry tarts with custard are another fave along with their Italian American-style lobster tail pastry (similar to the sfogliatella except no ricotta)...usually, the pastry has a crispy exterior shell with multiple layers with a light sweet cream...unfortunately, once it's filled and refrigerated or gets any condensation it loses some of that flakiness. I have to say it was still good and retained about 70% of that crunch with a almond chantilly cream and berries... I was hoping to special order a champagne cake for my mom but was told they don't do special orders anymore and recommended their most popular cake Berry Chantilly Cream cake for my mom's birthday. She loved it as she loves almond flavored anything...cake was soft and light and delicious! Highly recommend Whole Foods for buying specialty items and when hosting a get together...pricing is higher but well worth the stop...shared parking with other businesses so it can be chaos during peak times.

Am I the only one that loves shopping at Whole Foods market? The fengshui in this particular Whole Foods is amazing. When you first walk in you can grab a shopping cart to the left. The produce section isn't congested so you are able to move around without feeling claustrophobic. All the isles are pretty clean and almost always stocked. The deli/food section is all right. I've always loved Whole Foods hot food section and bar. For some reason it doesn't seem as though the workers pay enough attention to when it's time to change or replace certain hot food items. Also they don't serve many vegetarian/vegan pizza options like other Whole Foods locations I've been too.

Coffee/smoothie bar is ALWAYS closed. So ridiculous! What's the point of having this in store if it's never opened

I came to WF today with the desire to order a 1/4 sheet of Chantilly cake... I was told by an excellent customer service attendant at the bakery that humbly informed me of the company policy to special order 48hrs in advance and my request could not not be met because it was only 24 hrs in advance... She sent me to talk to her manager who also told me my request was out of line and that he could not meet my request... Considering WF is expensive and bills itself as kind of exclusive (all organic) I find this disregard for attention to their base (I was until today) dismissive & disrespectful... Well, I guess I better visit other organic stores around my neighborhood...

Coffee bar is always closed. The store manager just says that the barista opens it when they feel like it, so it seems like they never feel like it. They shouldn't advertise those hours is they don't actually operate within those hours. This is false advertising and it wastes people time driving to Whole Foods. They should really consider changing up the management.

This is a very standard well foods. It has all the main appeals of a regular Whole Foods market: a bakery, a hot bar, a sushi bar, a butcher, a cafe, and an Amazon counter. Unfortunately, like every other Whole Foods I've been to, it has an incredibly tight parking lot. Everything else is great- it has all the other produce you could possibly want, it even sells caviar, but every time I park my car here I feel I'm risking everything. I will say the workers are extremely helpful and nice and I really enjoy the layout of the store. It's very nice and open. My only other complaint, which cost this review a full star, was that I can never get Wi-Fi or service in-store.

I really like the custom service at this Whole Foods store. I shop here a lot, and I especially love their take out food. Whole Foods has a nice variety of soups which are all delicious. last weekend I purchased a bowl of clam chowder which was really good. I will definitely continue to shop here.

The service here was non existent!! I asked for customer service and the people who work here do not know what that means. What is this world coming to? I asked a guy with red hair for a box to put my glass juice in and he said these boxes are MINE! This place is a joke! Never shopping here again!

just got blood drawn after 12 hours of fasting and was starving! was craving salad bar unfortunately it wasn't 11am when restaurants open. Whole Foods it is! delicious, fresh and hit the spot. thank you WF for healthy(ish), crunchy yummy salad! ;p

Time and time again Amazon shoppers at Whole Foods continue to shop for items that expire in 1-2 days, and I was told that 3 days expiration is the least a shopper should select. I continuously have to request refunds which doesn't totally solve the problem if I need particular items! Also, an outstanding issue is that Amazon has done away with the chat box on a Whole Foods order, once it's begun, so now you can't communicate with the shopper! I see that complaints make no difference!!

I have to upgrade my review to 4 stars because Whole Foods took action and rectified the issues I complain about very efficiently. I came here again and there was a line of fresh hot pizza available. I had a special slice of cheese pizza with Alfredo, red chilli pepper and basil which was so delicious.

This place usually gets crowded at lunch or dinner time or the weekends so plan accordingly. Usually there's fresh produce and hard to find goods you can't get anywhere else here. The takeout is decent and usually you can find whatever you need or there's staff to help you find it.

Came in the purchase a slice of pizza. Was told to come back in 5 minutes so I shopped and came back within the five minutes. Another customer came after me and complained about the pizza he purchased. The WF associate gave the man the entire pizza that I had been waiting for. Associate told me that I would have to wait again for him to prepare another pizza. This was unacceptable. The other person should have waited and not me.

Had a very bad experience this morning, I went there to get a flower bouquet and asked for wrapping, my husband and I requested twice for help and we've been waiting over 10 minutes till there was a woman finally came but kept saying that they only have 2 people working and short of staff, refuse to help us! She was only willing to give me the paper and asked me to do it myself, and of course, with her attitude! I had to keep telling her that the cashier told us to wait there (at the flower section) and I don't know how to wrap bouquet, then she finally unwilling to help us with kept saying short staff and only help for this time with her anger voice......! I understand that they were short of staff sometimes, but can't put her anger to the customer, we weren't asking for unreasonable requests and that's part of her jobs!!

This is just a review of the bakery. We came in specifically looking for a dessert to enjoy after we had dinner at a nearby restaurant. The bakery case had so many choices! The attendant behind the counter was very helpful to answer our questions about ingredients, fillings, etc. The individual dessert portions were just what we were looking for. We chose a slice of carrot cake and a cannoli. We paid and ate outside the front of the store on the patio. They were both delicious! Restaurant level desserts without restaurant prices! We will be back to try more of their bakery creations soon!

Where do I start?! My last two visits to Whole-paycheck were underwhelming. But let me start with the first visit since moving to Fremont. Showed up on a Sunday after the Asian art festival. The hot bar was packed with options. I chose chicken masala, mashed taters, and broccoli and corn bread. Don't come for me, everything was delish!!!! My tastebuds were craving seconds, so we went back after work mid week. 180 degree difference. Where is everything I asked. The hot bar was ransacked. According to the worker clearing out the empty pans, they had no intentions of refilling. :( I grabbed the last cornbread (mistake) and a pre packed soup (jambalaya)The next day I heated up my soup and opened up my cornbread and started to break some into my soup, the other portion was placed on a paper towel and headed for the microwave. Mmmmmm. Wait, Wth is that on my cornbread. Mold! Everywhere inside. Bowl of soup ruined, cornbread ruined. Disappointment rained down as I broke out the hot dogs and ramen . This evening we gave it another shot. No energy to wait for a restaurant to serve us, let's go to Whole-Paycheck and grab some quick eats. Ugh! This time the veggie options were available in the hot bar, but nobody at the burrito counter. So I grabbed a cornmeal pizza and a pre packed Caesar. You can't mess up pizza and Caesar. So I thought. The pizza was just thick and grainy. No like the cornmeal crust you get from The other guy, TJ. This was just dense and meh. Opened up the Caesar and the goods were separated. Oil on top and dressing on bottom. Mixed it and added it to the salad. Yikes. Super runny, citrusy and oily. No more quick eats for me. Lol I'll stick to the butcher shop and the cookies :)
