Google
I have been to this Whole Foods Market on Voss and San Felipe a few times since the end of the pandemic. I was looking for a convenient market near my bank, CVS Pharmacy and Kroger gas station. I also like the merchandise. The produce section are always well stocked. That's better than other Whole Food Markets near my house. Having an Amazon counter also provides a great convenience.

Google
Easy to find, plenty of parking, staffs are helpful, and the store is clean. Shout out to the guy at the seafood section, he was kind enough to chuck the oysters. I also love their coffee bar, because not all whole food locations have it.

Google
Amazing place to go and get baked goods, premade food. Lots of variety of fresh produce. They also have deals if you are an Amazon prime member. I buy flowers here often they are a good price and last longer Kroger in my experience. Also have a supper quick and easy amazing return place. It took me less than 5 minutes to return something.

Google
Amazon return is great. Convenient l. The grocery store is overpriced and I can never get any counter help. Literally none. If I happen to be in the shopping center, it’s now become a challenge for me. Four for four, left with purchasing nothing. The staff completely ignores me. Unless they have begun hiring the disabled who can’t hear or see. Which to be honest, would be fine with me. I mean the people are doing things. Just not food prep.

Google
My first time here. Had an Amazon order to return. Service was immediate, courteous and correct. Only wish they serviced other mailing options and not just Amazon.

I want to thank Jerrado, who created a phenomenal vegan pizza for us in the Pizza section. My Mom approves! So, we want to mention Jerrado's name for their outstanding job and kindness to vegan dieters (he showed me the vegan cheese from Daiya that he selected for us). Our vegan fellows know it is still hard to find vegan options now in 2025. So big thanks! (Thanks, Enrique, for letting me know Jerrado's name by spelling it out for me). We appreciate you.

Google
I’m a huge fan of shopping at Whole Foods and primarily this location however, on this day I must report. I was very disappointed to find that the fresh salad bar and hot tables were very poorly displayed when I inquired about items missing I was left waiting for more than 20 minutes, just handled very disrespectfully, but the thing that was most pressing for me is that there was an individual behind the counter doing food prep who continued to cough every 2 to 3 minutes in their hands and I thought this cannot be good. They’re spreading so much bacteria. I need the management to pay closer attention to that area And to do a better job the prices are not a substantial value so you’re making enough money to provide better coverage and better service to the public.

Google
I think this place suffers because it’s close to the one in the Galleria area. Over there they were rewarm your pizza if it’s been out too long. At this location they don’t. Also this location doesn’t have Parmesan cheese. It’s just not as clean and not as nice as that one.

Yelp
Listen, if you live anywhere near Voss and San Felipe, you already know this intersection is basically the Hunger Games of upscale grocery shopping. On one side: Whole Foods, oat milk everything, and $12 strawberries. On the other: Trader Joe's, the fun cousin who brings snacks to the party but never has real dinner food. And yes, I shamelessly shop at both for the record. Whole Foods on Voss is a vibe. The store is clean, beautifully organized, and smells like fresh eucalyptus and financial responsibility. The produce section looks like it was hand-styled for a Food Network shoot. They carry a lot of local products, which makes you feel like you're supporting Houston's artisan scene, even if you just came in for almond butter. Pizza is on point as well! $12 Friday whole pizzas is a vibe. Now, the staff here? The ones I've came across have been friendly. I once asked a guy about a random spice blend and not only did he find it, he gave me a whole TED Talk on how to use it with roasted chickpeas. I respect that energy. Also, it's Whole Foods, so yes, your total might give you sticker shock if you weren't mentally prepared to spend $50 on "a few things." But overall, this Whole Foods holds it down. Whether you're doing a full grocery haul or just popping in after TJ's let you down with frozen cauliflower everything, it's a solid spot to get what you need, feel fancy, and pretend like you're the kind of person who drinks celery juice daily.

Yelp
Fridays!! 12$ Pizzas!!! This location and Post Oak are my favorite for fresh pizzas! I love the Friday specials and the ability to customize your pizza. They absolutely put love into this pizza and it tasted just as great as it looked. My favorites are: Caramelized Mushroom Spinach and Feta The service is always great, I highly recommend giving them a try.

Yelp
I came to this Whole Foods Market was because it's just down the street from Kroger on Voss. So convenient and it got a huge parking lot. It didn't take long to get familiar with the layout and I kind of use my 5 senses to navigate my way around the store. Amazon Hub is kind of hidden across from the pizza oven which is on the right side of the store. I couldn't believe I found my usual protein powder at Whole Foods. I usually buy them at CVS. But the one near my house always sells expired products. I'm forced to look elsewhere. The prices are very reasonable, especially after the Amazon Prime discount on top of the sales prices. Yeah. I'm a fan of this store on Voss.

Yelp
Not impressed with this Whole Foods at all. Came here for lunch at 1PM during the week and both the sandwich and smoothie station were out of order. It's usually pretty clean but always very busy. Came here another day for the self serve food for lunch. I got the turkey meatloaf, Mac n cheese & mashed potatoes. It was expensive as they charge by the pound BUT it was pretty delicious too. 3 stars for the freshness of the self serve food.

Yelp
I yelped this location last week with three stars, acknowledging the good and the bad (My first post is attached as a photo). But without being loud about my values in response to "the bad", I got a response to my yelp from WFM customer care that had to have come from a bot compared to whoever posted customer care comments to the other yelpers. So I'm back with a re-write because I feel my first post came across as it being "totally okay, dude" to: 1) not have all bulk items fully stocked unless customers find and ask a staffer to "fill 'er up". In my case it was unroasted and unsalted cashews that I was forced to go without unless I wanted to by a pre-packaged bag that was WAY more than what I needed. 2) let the check-out staffer have the last word on the cauliflower sale price of $4.39 because that's what he saw on the checkout screen even though there was a bright yellow sign advertising the veg for $3.99/head, which was why I nicely called the discrepancy to the staffer's attention (no photo, but I'm sure they've got camera's all over the place that can zoom up on the advertised price) 3) employ an agent of satan who said they stopped making espresso drinks at 2pm - even though it couldn't have been later than 1:50pm when I asked for one - and who ended our friendly exchange with "have a blessed day" before I walked away empty-handed. I remember making a b-line for the bar after my receipt printed from self-checkout at 1:46pm (photos attached of my receipt w/ a close up of the date stamp. but again, what biz doesn't have security cameras?) Clearly, none of this is acceptable. And honestly, #3 had me floored from a religious perspective. It begs the question "What church do you go to?" but for all the wrong reasons. So, yeah, this spot definitely has staffers that have made my shopping experience pleasant ones, including that guy I mentioned in #2 (He was just doing his job re: cauliflower prices). But let's be clear. The other major factors that made my shopping experience pleasant were rrllrrllrrllrrllrrllrrll (That's a drum roll. Google it.)..... Me and my P.M.A. #YourWelcome None of the listed nonsense above was argue-worthy. The end. The WFM customer care comment rubbed me the wrong way because it was void of accountability. In no way should any of what I experienced have happened on the same visit to any grocery store that sells what I came to this WFM on buy on 2/16/2024. There, I said it. Or do I need to do a few neck circles and suck my teeth? Happy Black History Month, WFM-S. Voss.

Yelp
sian foods and soft drinks, and my here is ample parking . In the age of COVID. They follow all protocols sanitize constantly . You will feel safe here. This is a first choice in an area that is full of good choices. Revisited outstanding service paid attention to spice levels for my friend said anything on menu could be made vegan. Beverages never low. Friendly instant service excellent food. Reasons able pricing ample parking. This is the real deal

Yelp
Stopped by the deli shop to get a sandwich today, January 16, at around 1:10pm. Two ladies were chatting behind the counter and when I approached them for help one of them was quick to point at a sign at the counter that read "station closed" Really, at 1:10pm when people are out for lunch? The staff at the deli shop and the asian food cafe lack good customer service.

Yelp
Kudos to Whole Foods for carrying fresh pressed beet juice. My DH drinks it to help stabilize his blood pressure and it was a huge help to him when he ran out of his meds. We tried looking for it across the street at Trader Joe's but they had run out. The beet juice at Whole Foods was more but the quantity was also greater.

Celia B.

Yelp
The fresh food deli counter over beside the bakery is usually unattended, and if someone is working behind it in the room where the kitchen is, they look right at you and don't walk out to take your order. It always seems a little odd, and then when someone does finally help you, they seem pretty unhappy about it. Just seems odd, since that is why they have a full service deli counter full of fresh made food.

Yelp
Check out this store with great customer service by Miguel in guest services. They offer amazing specialty chocolate by companies like Xocollla chocolate crafters that has just 2 ingredients and some of the best ingredients in the world. If you are hungry at lunch, you can get ready to eat hot pizzas and salad bar to go .Plenty of inside and outside seating . If you have Amazon can get additional discounts .Some items tend to be a bit higher than other grocery stores but if you want great helpful and happy customer experiences this is the place to go.

Yelp
So disappointed in this location. Prepared foods looked dry, unappealing and low on selection, shelves were low on inventory as well. Staff were not very helpful. I doubt I'll visit again even though it's a convenient location.

Yelp
I come to Whole Foods pretty much for the water and the baked goods. The fact that they carry Bread Man is a huge plus. Cranberry walnut and the crusty sourdough are repeat purchases. 4.5/5 with half a star docked for price. The bakery also carries the famed Chantilly cake, which is a nice cake option. It has a layer of berries and cream inside and on top, and what gives it a unique flavor is the almond syrup. Some people might love this, some might not. This cake also tends to be a hit or miss in dryness/moistness, but it's not as sweet as most cakes and is generally a good choice for the more waistline-conscious. $40 and 4/5. The single thing I love most in all of Whole Foods is the tiramisu from the refrigerated section. The bakery also carries a tiramisu cake but that does not compare. This one comes in a clear plastic container, is not made in store, and is the best tiramisu money can buy in Houston in all its moist glory. (As always, please message me any contenders.) It won't be pretty to serve this thing straight out of the container, but it makes a great cake substitute for 2-3 people, especially if you have a large spatula to get it out to plate. 5/5 at $11.99. ============ I just started a collection of reviews for birthday cakes around town - please feel free to send me recommendations to try!

Yelp
I had a pretty bad experience here yesterday around 7 pm (January 24,21) at the meat department. I was buying meat and tried to purchase (leg of lamb) the whole thing was 63$ and that was quite a lot for me so I wanted to purchase half of it (cause it's sold by pound) and the meat personal denied me in in selling half. From my understanding he didn't want to cut it in half. Also I bought (beef shank), unfortunately a small amount, when I asked for more I was told that it is in the back fridge and not available. I'm pretty sure that it is against the Whole Foods policy to deny to sell food when it's present... anyways my 45 min trip one way was not successful due to Whole Foods not wanting to sell me meat. I guess this is the times we live in now.

Yelp
Hats off to the elderly man who works the OTC supplements. He certainly seems to be full of great knowledge on many of the drugs/supplements I have inquired about. Plus he adds great energy to the store. Because of attitudes like his, it keeps me coming back. Unfortunately, one thing that was displeasing was the salsa I bought had mold inside months before it's expiration date. Which was appalling based on the store's quality and prices. That's why I can't give them 5 stars.

Frank W.

Yelp
The rudest bakery member I've ever had to deal with is a lady named Emily, absolutely terrible customer service and shouldn't be working in the service industry.

Olga H.

Yelp
This review is only for the bakery. 1) The architect who put the smelly cheese department next to the cake department should not be in the food business. 2) The pastry chef for the company should have been fired many years ago. The cakes are still more hydrogenated oils than they are cake. A small 6 inch cake may look nice, but it will cause deleterious effects that can end in a stroke or cardiac arrest and fatty liver. The cake part didn't taste like oreo, it tasted like dry old nothing cake. If you want an artery clogging stature of frosting that uses about 4 sticks of butter like substance, then this is the sculpture for you. A cake shouldn't last 5 days. If it looks good, it tastes bad. Whole Foods should have healthy cakes, not ones capable of a mortality risk. The store is very clean. The workers are customer friendly.

Yelp
This place has gone down over the years. The price hasn't, but the experience has for sure. We used to able to come in for a Ramen bowl, and now they give you some flavorless tripe with spaghetti noodles. No "ramen" anywhere. Dry flavorless pork slices, submerged in flavorless yellow water. So after making a quick complaint to management, I am informed that the whole deli section is ran by a third-party, and the store is not responsible for their food quality (even though it's in their store). That's unfortunate, because they used to have a really good Ramen bowl.

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Had such a bad experience tonight at whole food, This is no regular food store as we all know the area and the prices are no cheap prices, as we ask politely for help to find something , guy name "D" or at least he calls him self "D" when I asked for his name, was rudely unhelpful un wanted to be there. People with bad customer service should not be working in a high in grocery store!

Yelp
Super nice and good store very clean and overall nice. Got some cool water tank with 3 different waters to refill your 5 gallon jug. Got some good foods and best milk in town.

Yelp
I love my new neighborhood Whole Foods Market! I was living near the Kirby location but boy this one is even more accessible to me and huge parking lot. So far at the times or days I've gone it wasn't like playing parking wars so that is a huge plus. The store is huge and very well lit, the staff are kind and helpful if you have questions. I usually opt for the salad bar and hot foods when I cant' figure out what I want to eat. I know I will have healthy options and not have to wait to cook or order a meal at a restaurant. They have so many great bath bombs as well no need to splurge on Lush for this gal! I've also bought flowers from here and they are very plentiful and fresh to choose from. Come check this location out you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Learned about the Preview Party thanks to Menu of Menus, and really enjoyed the offerings. The event itself was free but they did ask for a $10 donation to the Houston Blue's Society, but yay for a good cause, and they also provided the live entertainment! Traffic was quite annoying so couldn't get there till 20 minutes to close but it was almost better as the vendors were trying to almost give away their products! Samples of nasopure, fruit infused water, alcohol, smoked salmon jerky, BBQ pulled pork, cake, cheese, ramen, kickin'kombucha, sushi rolls, lentil chips, salsa, Oriya, Gluten Free Whole Note Baking Mixes, BeeSweet Tea and Dark Chocolate were all provided. This was really a unique experience as I enjoyed talking to the vendors, hearing their stories/passion for how their products came about, and of course sampling everything! I was really excited to try the ramen but wasn't too hopeful...the vegetarian broth was way too salty but I liked the cubes of tofu. Whole Foods version of the Tonkatsu was a bit better, but the broth wasn't truly tonkatsu, but more like a nice pork broth. The pork was actually the same pulled pork tried earlier with the BBQ which was fairly tender, but definitely not the traditional thinly sliced pieces of meat. Out of all the rolls sampled, my favorite would be the tempura battered shrimp and tuna roll, they also had one with brown rice but it tasted a bit too healthy, maybe yummier with some guac? I won't highlight the same products Liz N. covered but I agree that BeeSweet Lemonade is such an inspirational tale and the Whole Note Baking Mixes are quite an exceptional mix for those suffering with Celiac. In addition I would also check out Oriya, a plant based, all natural protein that is gonna be on sale at least the first week of opening, so definitely try it! Overall, I loved how we got to preview the new grocery store, and can't wait for its opening on Wednesday! Also, pet lovers rejoice as Friday's is yappy hour on the patio from 5-7 PM!

Yelp
This review will be brief as I only went in looking for a small cake for my Dad's birthday. I approached the bakery and couldn't decide between a raspberry chocolate cake or an orange mimosa cake. The attendant was patient and friendly and mentioned the mimosa cake is seasonal. While the usual me would have bought chocolate, I took my chances and ordered the orange one. We had it in a restaurant and it was very moist and delicious. Everyone loved it. These baby cakes serve about five folks.

Yelp
This is the worst Whole Foods in Houston, hands down. Go to any other location and staff is nice and welcoming. Specially Post Oak. Its actually impressive how rude the staff here can be. They ruin the brand. Newsflash: Whole Foods is all about good customer service and high quality food. That's why people pay more to shop here. PS: if you don't want people coming in through a certain door, then close it. I will not go around when what I need is right there and there's no one else using this entrance.

Yelp
Because Houston, we do hold food to a higher standard. It's the brand new sign that all customers are greeted with when they walk into the new Whole Foods Market on Voss Rd. The newest Whole Foods Market in Houston is opening Wednesday, April 8th at 7 AM. Kelly and I attended the Preview Party filled with free samples of food, beer, and wine. The store and coffee bar will be open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM. There will be some door busters on April 8th if you visit the store. From 8 AM to 10 AM, red snapper fillets will be $9.99/lb and whole red snapper will be $7.99/lb. From 5 PM to 10 PM, take & bake cheese or pepperoni pizzas will be 2 for $10. Wines over $25 will be 25% off. There are a few items that I discovered in the store that are worth mentioning. BeeSweet Lemonade is based in Austin, TX. For those who don't know, the original flagship Whole Foods Market is located in Austin, TX on the corner of 6th Street and N. Lamar. The CEO and founder of BeeSweet Lemonade is Mikaila Ulmer. What shocked me the most about this amazing young individual is that she's only 10 years old! BeeSweet Lemonade is made with flaxseed and honey, and is her great grandmother's recipe At 10 years old, she is educating the public on the importance of bees in the ecosystem. She's a social entrepreneur, bee ambassador, educator, and student. You can find any of her products at Whole Foods Markets and at UT football games during football season, HOOK 'EM! \m/ You can find more information at beesweetlemonade.com With all the special diets and food allergies that exist nowadays, it's a good thing Whole Note Baking Mixes are around. They are gluten-free baking mixes that are made with a medley of 7 whole grains. They make pancake, waffle, crepe, muffin, and pizza crust mixes. We tried the original waffle mix, and I was pleasantly surprised because I couldn't tell that it was gluten-free. You can find any of their products at Whole Foods Market or the Kroger on Studemont. For more information, visit www.WholeNoteGF.com.

Yelp
Another "town historian"-type review... sorry. When this place opened up, say, 4-5 years ago, it was the da bomb... top-notch, like. Always something going on--in particular, they had these visits from local breweries at the store bar, where brewery reps would regale customers with schwag and even the occasional free pint. Kooky stuff. Fast forward to last week... this, my most recent visit (and first one in a long while) was particularly traumatic, as that's when I noticed that the bar was gone (!!)--that was a cool little bar, and I, having held a somewhat stressful gig at the office building across the way, had often found myself there with a variety of co-workers--sure, it lacked atmosphere viz. a proper bar, but the whole convenience of just needing to stumble across the street to get there was hard to beat--and most of the staff was very nice and attentive... when they were around, of course... as eventually, they began to be tasked with manning the cheese counter at the rear of the store AND the beer bar at the front--at the same time... brilliant idea by some MBA at corporate, I imagine. There have been other regrettable changes to the store, many (but not all) coinciding with Amazon's acquisition of the chain... the prepared-food islands have gradually shrunk is size... the soup island was terminated entirely... and on and on. I understand the need to prop up margins, but a lot of these measures can become (and, I reckon, did become) counterproductive in the end. Of course, if this is going to be your first time over there, you obviously won't miss any of this lol. Besides, you can always go to the Post Oak location--that one has seen fewer cutbacks than the Voss store.
google avatar

Arie M.

Yelp
In stark contrast to the Post Oak location, from the outside, there isn't anything too remarkable about this new location and the wide continuous window and brick remind me of a neighborhood Family Dollar store. Inside is bright and inviting however and they added a much larger eating area compared to the old location on Woodway so it's a nice place to come for lunch or dinner now if you're in a hurry. The selection is also more limited than the Post Oak location as I found out in their tea isle. Essentially, this is just an updated version of their old store where it's meant to be a neighborhood Whole Foods without much fuss.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Whole Foods will forever have my business with fresh flowers! Yesterday my brother and I went in to purchase fresh flowers for my fathers memorial service. The selection was great and I rushed home to assemble the arrangement- it was beautiful! The next day as I was getting ready to go to the service- I noticed that some of the flowers had wilted. I was crushed. I called the store and spoke to the manager, Scarlett, and explained what had happened. She was quick to tell me not to worry because they were going to make it right for me. I went in thinking I was just going to get some new stems. I was floored when i was taken to the floral department and was gifted a beautiful arrangement. Whole Foods went above and beyond! My family and I are so grateful for this act of kindness and good business. Keep up the great work, y'all!

Yelp
Review update: The entire location cannot be judged upon just the lazy and lackluster cashiers who don't want to work here, or anywhere. There are some really terrific people here who have been very helpful, especially the people in the prepared foods area who are always happy, and always happy to help. I was also contacted by a representative of Whole Foods, so I thought I'd give them a chance by going into the location again and asking for her, she's a central manager of some kind because they have never heard of her. So much for having a centralized feedback from the person wanted to correct the situation. You see me standing here waiting in line. You know you can see me. You hate your job. You are glaring at me as you open your register. You ignore the fact that I'm standing in line waiting. You just waive the next person who walks up over. It's truly sad when your only function is to check customers out in a timely and efficient manner and you can't do that. You take customers to walk up instead of the person who's been waiting in line for five minutes. Now it's five minutes a great amount of time? No. But you could've changed the outcome by just performing basic customer service function and taking the person who's been waiting the longest. You don't care, no one here cares. When I made a remark to the person who eventually checked me out she gave me a smarmy, ham faced snide retort. It's truly sad because the prepared foods department and grocery teams are excellent, the people who ring you up at the cashier lines, bitter, entitled and could not care that you exist.

Frederick N.

Yelp
Nice enough staff but the manager with the handlebar mustache has a major lack of product knowledge and could use some training on his people skills, I would be willing to pitch in to buy him some. The good thing is there's a Trader Joe's across the street.
google avatar

Mel A.

Yelp
Wow. Pleasantly surprised. I stopped coming here a couple years ago because the staff used to be kind of moody. Glad to be back! They have a whole new staff and the experience is better. The energy is lighter. You can actually come and enjoy the experience. Good job Whole Foods!

Mariana M.

Yelp
The bakery lady was great. She answered my phone call and told me she could write whatever I wanted on the cake. I wanted "future MRS." written on the small berry Chantilly cake and she wrote it perfectly in just a few minutes and short notice. Highly recommend surprising your family/friends with this cake and customizing it with a message!

Yelp
My least favorite WFM in Houston. The prepared foods in the fridge areas are always lacking. There's hardly any items for "take away" available at any given time. Doesn't matter if it's a weekend or weekday. Their hot bar is lacking compared to other WFM stores their size too. They center's paid private security is rude too. There is a woman guard who is so high on her horse she'll stalk you down to tell you to change your driving habits or else the police will track you down. Seriously? Why don't you focus on crime and break-ins instead. Somehow she is the moral police of this Memorial Center. I personally think the staff/cashiers are nice and pleasant. However, they really need to improve the freshness of their produce and the quality and consistency of their prepared foods.

Yelp
Okay... I just could not let this go unnoticed... There was a guy... Not quite sure his position but he happened to be checking me out today.... well... Checking my THINGS out today... Lol and his name was Allen when I asked for it. He has the most absolutely Pleasant attitude I've ever seen on a human... Honestly, so genuine and so pleasant. I wish, and rightfully so, the more people would endorse and adopt his attitude. Loved it just loved it.! Also, he asked me to shout out Miguel... So, hey Miguel! If Allen things youre superb then hey, I'll let the Yelp Society know too!

Yelp
This whole foods is clean service fast friendly. There is ample parking. The layout is so wonky, that it has me constantly asking clerks where things are. There is no bar or cafe at this locale

Yelp
Wow has this store gone down the toilet!! As soon as Amazon bought it out, all the awesome people that made it a great store were out of there! Place is DIRTY, and the people there now don't even know what anything is. Total letdown! Thanks Amazon!!

Cathy K.

Yelp
I keep giving this location a chance but after 3 disappointing visits, I think I'll try Trader Joe's across the street. During my first visit, I kindly asked the cashier not to over pack the grocery sacks. Although $90 worth of groceries fit into two sacks, they are too heavy to carry the 1/4 of mile from my vehicle to my apt. The cashier was sarcastic in his response and said "they are double bagged so it's fine". I repeated that it wasn't about double bagging, it was about them being too heavy. He continued to fill the bags to the top and repeated they were double bagged and moved on to the next customer. During my second visit, the lettuce at the salad bar was brown and wilted. I approached the workers at the counter. All stated it wasn't their job but didn't offer to help find the right person. After asking 5 different people who couldn't help, I gave up on the salad and left without purchasing anything. This brings me to my most recent visit yesterday. I was happy to see a fresher salad bar however that joy was quickly replaced with frustration. I purchased $126 worth of groceries comprised of mostly fresh vegetables and meats. The SAME cashier from my first visit came over to sack my groceries. I mentioned to him to please to not over pack the sacks. He ignored me and proceeded to fill each sack to the top and did not double sack this time. Two of the handles broke in the parking lot when trying to move the sacks from the grocery cart to my vehicle. Additionally, some of the food I purchased, still within the expiration date, is growing mold. The service and quality of food does not compare to other Whole Foods locations (in multiple states) that I've visited. They staff doesn't seem interested in providing a quality experience that loyal customers are used to receiving. Trader Joe's it is....

Yelp
There are so many great Whole Foods stores around in this country that I have had the please of shopping in. Unfortunately this store is not one of them. In the past I have experienced expired dairy products and food stuffs still on the shelves for sale. There stock is inconsistent, as in, you may purchase a product one time then go back to purchase it again and for unknown reasons it will not carry it anymore.

Yelp
The Bell and Evans chicken (vacuum sealed) at his WFM location smells so bad as if it's spoiled or very old. The scent is sweet stink of ammonia and the taste is sour. I changed packages from larger chicken to smaller and it's the same result. The meat department at this location doesn't give a shit about the health of their customers. I had to go to Post Oak location and lo and behold the chicken smelled fresh and didn't have that bad stench. WTF is wrong with the Voss location???? A lot of their fruits and veggies are wilting, overripe, wrinkling and smell bad. Does this place sells crappy products because of all the old white people that shop here? Sick of it!!!!! In the past, I have confronted WFM Voss about their meat. They point the finger at Bell and Evans and said they were sending them bad chickens. I called that company and they said WFM Voss probably has a problem distributing their products and making sure it's all chilled. Do they leave items that need to be refrigerated out in the open to get spoiled and to smell and taste foul? Bell and Evans went beyond the norm to try to address my concerns. But Whole Foods just wants to point fingers and tell you well bring it back for a refund. Shop elsewhere for your meat if you can!!

Yelp
This store now closes at 8 unlike the other stores that are open until 10. I was told that they were short on staff because of omicron positivity rates. Sounds like the workers don't want to come to work at this location so they use the omicron excuse. I believe there is no mandatory testing policy at whole foods. This location is not reliable and generates too much drama.

Yelp
Terribly disappointed in this store today. I believe they pride themselves with how they provide check out services which includes bagging groceries. Today they failed. Only one bag was double bagged and that is only when the cashier said something to the bagger. The picture shows what it was like to try to get home with heavy bags not properly bagged. Also note there are no handles on the bags. It's not lost on me that I am shopping at Whole Foods which is expensive. That might be the point I could spend less elsewhere and help others more. If today is any indication they are not acting different. Customer service did offer to rebag but why should I have to wait for them to do the right thing.

Yelp
Whole Foods had to reduce prices because their quality has plummeted to the bottom of the barrel. Some locations are slightly fresher than others but I would much rather go elsewhere. It's really a shame what Whole Foods has become.

Yelp
How long could you possibly run your business with your phone lines down???? You took the time to have a recording say "we are experiencing phone problems." Why doesn't your recording give us a temporary number to call so we can talk to someone? OR an email. I had to come into your store twice in the last two weeks for something that could have been handled over the phone. I had to go into work late and leave work early. Why are you making your problem your customers problem???? I know it's not your fault that the lines are down. But it is your responsibility to take care of your customers. You have too much competition around you to make it inconvenient for us. Your phone has been down for over a month. Chances are you've already lost customers. You also owe it to your employees to fix the things in your control to keep your business running. This is very disappointing

Yelp
Since amazon took over, the fruit and veggie dept. sucks! I would go to get what I thought was a great variety. The fruits were great tasting. I might as well go to Kroger for their crummy fruit and veggies.

Yelp
Today was my last day to shop at this store location. I purchased several SALE items along with several regular priced items. when I got home and checked my ticket, and I should've checked the ticket before I left the store, but I have been overcharged about seven dollars. I realize now that this is not the first or second time this has happened. along with having to throwaway produce because it has no taste, in addition to buying baked goods that end up in the trash because when I take them out of the package there is mold. So now Whole Foods has overcharged me a total of about $25 so I will not be returning to the store. I think if you choose to shop here you definitely need to make a note of everything that's on sale because it will not ring up correctly on the register.

Yelp
I cannot say enough great things about an employee named Shelby! She is helpful, informative, and always finds the time to help customers with their questions. I typically have a few about wine, beer, cheese. Shelby has a lot of life experience that she brings to Whole Foods and I believe she truly embraces the Whole Foods philosophy. Shopping this store is a better experience with Shelby involved.

Yelp
Have been shopping here on and off mostly for their supplements and occasionally getting groceries. Just learned something about returns during my last 3 visits. For some reasons, they didn't refund the exact sales price. The amount was off by a few bucks. I know this sounds odd but I happened to watch them while ringing up my returned items. The first time when the error happened, I thought it was some computer glitches. I did say something to the customer service and they paid me the difference after I looked at the refund receipt (while walking out of the store). The second time it happened again and I had to say something again! This was bad because I was supposed to get my full refund without asking for it. Went there yesterday, I got the same BS!!!!! My gosh!!!! Smh. Not sure if this problem will be fixed as I found it very annoying and stupid. Okay, not too sure if I should shop with them again. They must be thinking that this is fine as most folks are rich shopping at Whole Foods and who cares about a few bucks??? Hey I care! Noted that if I am rich, I will still want my full refund!!!! So for anyone who needs to return anything, please pay close attention to the refund process!!!! Smh I never had a problem like this with Kroger and other grocery stores in my life!!!!

Yelp
Before you shop at Whole Foods, make sure you check the expiration date stickers. I am heart broken. I loved to shop and trusted WF more than any other grocery store but not any more. I bought a bunch of crêpes early last week and my kids have been enjoying them little by little until this am, when our 11yo noticed three expiration stickers, two for March 22 and the top one for April 22. Not funny...in fact, beyond disappointed.
