Whole Foods Cuts Paid Breaks From 15 to 10 Minutes for Many Workers | Eater

"An Amazon-owned grocery chain recently scaled back paid rest breaks from 15 minutes to at least one paid 10-minute rest break per shift, a change framed as creating a uniform policy across stores and states but one that reduces break time for workers in regions such as Southern California, the Midwest, the Mid-Atlantic and the South. The policy explicitly includes the time it takes to walk to and from the break room, further shrinking actual rest time, and has been denounced by a member-led union called Whole Worker, which the company refuses to recognize. Earlier pandemic protections—like hazard pay and extended sick leave for part-time staff—largely ended around July despite ongoing high COVID-19 rates, and employees staged a “sick out” after CEO John Mackey suggested workers should “donate” sick days; staff have also complained about a stricter dress code and increasing pressure from Amazon Prime-driven demand. While the company says the update will provide the majority of team members with more break time overall, critics see the change as another sign of deteriorating worker protections amid substantial gains in Amazon leadership wealth during the pandemic." - Jaya Saxena

More Than 19,000 Amazon Employees Tested Positive for COVID-19 | Eater

"Front-line employees at the supermarket chain have been actively criticizing the employer’s pandemic response, including staging a “Sick Out” on March 31 to demand guaranteed paid leave, health care for part-time workers, and temporary closure of any location where an employee tests positive. The chain’s workers were included in a combined March–September company report that showed 19,816 cases among 1.37 million employees (1.44%), but the report did not provide a separate infection-rate breakdown for the chain, excluded third-party delivery drivers, and left out states with fewer than 1,000 employees — gaps cited by workers and organizers as undermining the report’s completeness." - Jaya Saxena

What Would a Non-Whole Foods Amazon Grocery Store Even Look Like? | Eater

"Acquired by Amazon with the goal of offering fresher, organic items at lower prices, this grocer has drawn criticism that store quality has declined since the takeover. Customers and commentators have pointed to a perceived drop in standards even as the brand remains central to Amazon’s grocery ambitions, and some store employees have expressed frustration and pursued unionization efforts seeking better treatment." - Jaya Saxena

When Is Amazon Prime Day 2019? | Eater

"As part of Prime Day promotions, Amazon has leveraged its grocery chain to offer in-store incentives for Prime members: last year shoppers who spent $10 received a $10 Amazon credit to use on Prime Day, and a small, somewhat random selection of items (boneless chicken breast, RX Bars, Waterloo seltzer) were discounted. The company has also been advertising lower grocery prices for Prime members to drive sign-ups; for 2019 it promised deep discounts on select popular products plus an additional 10 percent off hundreds of sale items, though past deals have felt limited and inconsistent." - Ellie Krupnick

11 Foods That Tried to Kill You in 2018: Chipotle, Lettuce, and More | Eater

Whole Foods exceeded my expectations with the large vegan lemon cake they made for our baby shower! From the moment we placed the order, the bakery team was accommodating, professional, and ensured every detail was perfect. The cake itself was absolutely delicious—moist, perfectly balanced with a bright lemon flavor, and just the right amount of sweetness. Even guests who weren’t vegan couldn’t stop raving about how amazing it tasted! The texture was spot on, and it was beautifully decorated, making it the perfect centerpiece for our celebration. I truly appreciate Whole Foods for offering high-quality, plant-based desserts that don’t compromise on taste or presentation. This cake made our special day even sweeter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. Highly recommend!

Google
Always excellent prepared foods and bakery goods from Whole Foods. Good ingredients with minimal salt added. I am pleased with the friendly service, clean facility and ease of checkout. Would highly recommend the ready made foods at this store.

If you’re trying to get flowers and wrapped wouldn’t recommend . He used Tissue paper so ripped as soon as I walked out. Didn’t bother asking how I would like them, I asked if he could clean the leaves and turned he ignored me. Uneven . Since higher then others and it was simple roses no organizing with other flowers or anything should’ve been a easy wrap .Don’t advertise flower wrapping and do a horrible job.

Google
5 stars for the girl who makes the pizza, 0 stars for their hours. I guess they only take pizza orders from 5:30pm-8pm, because I've gone there MULTIPLE times and no one's at the counter, even for lunch orders. FYI- The inside bar closes at 5pm And if you want to get the prime $12 pizza deal for dinner, the pizza maker doesn’t come in until 5:30pm and they stop taking pizza orders at 8pm And coming from the east coast, this pizza is good! Comparable to East coast pizza

To store manager : please address roach issue properly. Thank you. Photo taken on July 17 2025, 8:38am at Las Colinas store outside eating area. I was sitting at this bench eating breakfast but then this thing showed up . I still give 4 stars because inside store is very nice , workers are helpful, and this is an outside store area so not sure whether it is store's responsibility or city's to clean up pests. [updated Jul 18 2025] store manager quickly responded, thanks. so I have removed two close-up photos as they may cause discomfort for some review readers.

I like this store. Always fresh soup and great pizza. Also, the staff is so kind. My kid left her backpack at the store, they were very helpful they were really helpful and kind.

Google
2things 1) their freezer section is always out of stock the basic things like milk and yogurt are not available, this is my 3rd time In a row in last 1month. 2) the meat section says they stopped custom cutting the chicken, not sure why there are those many employees in meat section? What's good - Amazon returns - decent location

Google
Whole foods is one of my all time favorite places to shop. It's rather different than Kroger's or Tom Thumbs. But it still has an amazing inventory of everything you could want or need, especially in the healthy department. It's more pricey than the others. But the stores are also always well managed, clean and well lit. Nice employees, lots of parking, etc. There's just not anything that I can say that's negative about whole foods. Other than I don't get to shop there very often.

Yelp
Whole Foods Supermarket in Las Colinas is an upscale supermarket that focuses on organic goods. It's also an Amazon locker/return station and has a nice bar and prepared foods as well. If you're looking for quality and convenience, Whole Food Supermarket has it. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Supermarket, Return) Atmosphere - Whole Foods is centrally located in Irving-Las Colinas along 161 and MacArthur. Upon entering, you'll notice a large, brightly lit market with excellent lighting. On the left side of Whole Foods (where you enter), you find fresh produce that pops with multiple colors. It's bright, colorful, and puts you in a good mood (to buy groceries). 1 Star. Service - The staff is great, but for this review I want to call out the convenience of being an Amazon location. You can return Amazon items you purchased online here, or have items delivered to an Amazon locker. Bonus, there is a dedicated entrance for the Amazon Kiosk so you can get in and out quickly. 1 Star. Supermarket - Whole Foods has lots of organic offerings, so the prices here are more than other places. Their white label "365 by Whole Food Market" isn't as expensive as commercial organic labels but still is pricy. But what makes this Whole Foods stand out for me is they have a small bar with beers on tap. Also, the prepared food is really good. If you don't want to cook, you can come here and choose items that you can prepare from sides (Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables), global dishes (Indian curries, Asian stir-fries, and Mediterranean platters), and even seasonal entrées and sides that rotate regularly. Again, the higher price and access to non-organic brands may not be for everyone. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I'm here often to use the Amazon kiosk. It's also a great place to go to pick up freshly prepared food that you can just take home, heat up, and serve. 1 Star.

Yelp
I love coming to whole food because of their big selection of healthy items. The store is big and always kept very clean. It's been more than a couple of times that we've gone and the shelves are empty and im not just talking about eggs, it's a variety of items that are not available. Not sure if they need more frequent shipping but it would be nice that more items would be in stock.

Yelp
Standard Whole Foods. FYI- The inside bar closes at 5pm And if you want to get the prime $12 pizza deal for dinner, the pizza maker doesn't come in until 5:30pm and they stop taking pizza orders at 8pm And coming from the east coast, this pizza is good! Comparable to East coast pizza

Yelp
They were so nice here! I got most of my groceries yesterday! Good food! Good vibes! I took the bus and walked! This area is so peaceful! Texas is so interesting!

Yelp
This location seems to be lacking the quality of other Whole Foods locations. The shelves often need to be restocked. As a result, I never get everything I need when I go here. The items on the shelves are often not in the right places. For example, you might find that tbe garlic powder has been placed in the shelf area for celery seed, and so on and so forth. It's hard to find what you're looking for, if you ever find it. The fresh salsa has a section for the hot variation, but all of the ones in this section say medium and when you ask about it, no one is able to help. You would expect the produce to be fresh. It is often in bad shape and on its way to rotting. I prefer Central Market for this reason. If I have to shop Whole Foods, I try to stay away from this location

Yelp
Great customer service as always, knowledgeable staff, welcoming atmosphere and super clean and organized store. Have not tried food from this location in particular but I bet it won't disappoint.

Yelp
I was in town for business and saw this Whole Foods Market not too far from the hotel I was staying at. After reading the reviews I got a ride over. The interior is nice and bright with the typical grocery store layout. Fresh foods around the perimeter with the rest in the middle. I got a few pieces of produce which were great. Fresh and delicious. I circled the salad bar and prepared items while I figured out what I wanted for dinner later. I loaded up my container with lots of fresh salad (local when possible) and a few prepared options. The tofu (I forget what kind of sauce it had but was slightly spicy) was tasty. I got a few more things to take to my hotel and checked out fairly quickly through the self checkout line. Don't forget scan your prime code for savings. The self checkout was pretty busy but went quick. They have an employee there to help in case something needs verification. While I didn't drive, the parking lot seemed spacious and easy to get a spot in. All in all a good experience and I would visit this Whole Foods Market again.

Yelp
Updating 8/10/24 Focusing on the juice bar this time: We were surprised and delighted to see the juice bar reopened for first time in several months. But if you want carrot juice -- and just carrot juice -- you're out of luck. That's according to a new policy. You have to include a second juice. But not carrot juice. The new juice barista is excited about her new position. Michelle has an outgoing personality and is very knowledgeable about the various juicing possibilities We hope the juice bar will remain open because it's one of the reasons we and others find this market special.

Yelp
Always a good time at Whole Foods. They don't serve vegan pizza here. But you can order it. For $12 this pizza is huge! Huge box big slices. Not sure how I can eat this on myself. But it's so good. Fast check out lanes. Good amount of space. I like it here.

Yelp
Cashier Deborah is unpleasant and rude. This is the third time I've been checked out by her, each time she never greets me or even tells me my total. Also, there was water spilt on the floor and as I was leaving I slipped and almost fell, I turned around to tell her and the bagger guy that there was a spill and to be careful. They didn't care at all. Weird vibes.

Area R.

Yelp
Worst location I've been to. Every freezer aisle was almost empty. The smoothie bar wasn't open and they didn't have any of the items I went in there for. Shut it down!

Yelp
Why oh why was there only one cashier on Dec 30, 2024? Now, Whole Foods isn't cheap by any means at all. So, you would think there would be more than one cashier. Now, she was friendly and offered great service but we were all in a line headed down the frozen pizza aisle. You look over to your left the line to the self-checkout was just as long. It is ridiculous. No way should one cashier be working at 5 PM. It just put a sour taste in my mouth like do you care about your customers? Do you care about your employees? Many items in the store weren't stocked either because it is close to the holiday but it was still clean. I still don't get however the lack of individuals actually checking out customers.

Yelp
Amazon return line so long with 10 people and gathering. The self-kiosk machine is green but is not scanning and the employees don't check it even though I told them it's not scanning.

Yelp
Stopped by to get some chicken noodle soup from the hot soup line. I called first to ensure that it was being served today. I try to get there as soon as it's placed out because some people don't know "proper etiquette" when it comes to getting food from self service lines.
google avatar

Yelp
Hot Bar sucks now since before we had more options but now it's always the same mashed potatoes, chicken fingers, Mac&cheese, some meatloaf, and fresh veggies if you're lucky. Better off going somewhere else for l

Yelp
Excellent location and parking. As with every Whole Foods Market, each location is unique and offers different things. So I will just run down the pluses/minuses of why you would enjoy shopping here. -there's an Amazon drop-off location for your convenience. -the Bakery dept is one of the best I've experienced. Yes they can write on cakes for you for any celebration/occasion. They can slice fresh breads for you as well. The Berry Chantilly dessert is amazing. But if you don't get yours sooner than later, they tend to sell out by the end of the week. Unfortunately the juice/coffee bar has been closed indefinitely. Until they get a barista that actually STAYS, don't expect to get service for that there. -everyone is obsessed with the filtered water here for some reason. Plan to wait in long lines if you like getting filtered water. -sushi is okay. The hot items they offer definitely needs to be worked better. I mean where's the sauce in the orange chicken? It's always so dry and unflavored. And I actually will say that about all the sushi stations in most WFMs. I know they are a third party company (Genji) hired but yeah, they definitely can be better. -on that note Prepared Foods also can be better. Good for grab n go meals but as in hot fresh foods, don't expect anything great if you go passed lunch/dinner rush. -Produce/Floral, Grocery, Meat n Seafood, and Whole Body depts are aight for common standards when it comes to organics/healthy eating, allergen lifestyles -Specialty dept is EXCELLENT. Very knowledgeable and helpful dept. Quite a decent selection and willing to sample any cheeses to help make solid informed decisions in your choices. There are NO premade charcuterie boards (in any location for that matter) Those are all ordered online on the WFM website for catering. Needs to be 24/48 hours in advance depending on what you want made. The olive bar is always filled and clean. Quite a selection and you can mix/match however you like. And they have a cute lil bar called Texas Forever Pub. Happy Hour 4-6PM. Closed Mondays. You can sample anything on tap/drink menu as well. Great place to relax/chill/watch a game or have great conversations with the personable bartenders there. They sometimes have events like Tap Takeovers which gives free swag. Other than that, great place to shop, clean, bright, comfortable/relaxed atmosphere. The clientele is mixed and more in the progressive/liberal side of the spectrum. Definitely lgbtqia+ friendly and a safe space. One of the better locations in my opinion~

Yelp
Worst bakery No staff No cakes available Can't place orders on the phone No one wants to assist you Rude employee named Lisha who said she was the manager but is not. Hung up on me on the phone. Talked to Bobby (another manager of Whole Foods) on the phone and never even apologized for his employee that he said he was replacing or the inconvenience. Choose another Whole Foods.

Mrs. C.

Yelp
I usually visit this store at least once a week, but as of recent the store has been out of milk products consistently. Therefore, I no longer grocery shop at Whole Foods. I'm not sure if the milk is not being stocked or delivered either way I will shop elsewhere.
google avatar

Arun P.

Yelp
I like the selection of fresh produce and meat. There's a good variety of options to choose from and the quality is always good. I like the healthy salad dressings choices they offer. Frozen fruits and vegetables are another favorite of mine. Whole Foods is only for specialty and fresh foods for me. The regular brands are way more expensive and just not worth it. I like the entire shopping experience and the Prime offers on select products. The staff are friendly and efficient. No self checkout counters. Plenty of parking available and the location is very convenient. Can't go wrong with Whole Foods. I will keep coming back.
google avatar

Denise A.

Yelp
Juice bar is closed indefinitely again. The pizza, hot foot bar, salad bar is all subpar in addition to the service. The drive to Southlake for Central Market is a far superior experience. I really wish corporate would get this location together.

Yelp
We love Zolli pops! Mommy dont feel as guilty for giving them candy & I sneak one for my self

Yelp
Must have watermelon pre cut and the juices are 10/10. Get the "Rise and Shine" also the salmon is amazing

Yelp
The location is perfect on the busy MacArthur street. There's always very good availability & it's easy to navigate. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. I think management should listen to the employees concerns. There was a time that they seemed very frustrated every visit, but I think the rollback of free 2 hour delivery may have helped ease tensions.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a decent Whole Foods with all the necessities you need for cooking meals. Parking is easy and the cashiers are super friendly. I have two gripes with this locations. 1. The produce goes bad really quickly. Like within a day or two. So, I have to be ready to use whatever produce I purchase right away or plan to freeze it. Otherwise, I've wasted money. 2. The hot bar leaves much to be desired. I've spent a lot of time at different Whole Foods locations and this one is awful. There is not anything that looks appealing. And the pizza always looks dry and days old. It's the closest grocery store to me, so I go. But I know what to get from there.

Kare A.

Yelp
One of the few Whole Foods in DFW that carries chicken feet. Four stars for that. I also really like their selection of dairy products and eggs, although it seems the same as other WF locations.
google avatar

Monie H.

Yelp
All Whole Foods are a tad different. This one is a nice one. I hadn't checked this location out, so when I realized it was near my drive home, I swung through. .....I ended up sending $73! LOL! I couldn't help myself. There were a lot of items and meals on sale, so I splurged. I do enjoy their uncooked meal kits. Everything is already put together. I can store it in in the frig or freezer until I'm ready to make it. Also, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you save even more money. I ended up shaving almost $15 off my bill. That's great for Whole Foods! At the time of this review, everything (all deli areas), except for the bar area are open again. This location is as large as the one in Ft Worth. There is also a large parking lot. Happy Eating!
google avatar

Vanessa S.

Yelp
I loved this Las Colinas store when it first opened in our area. But it has steadily gone downhill. It's not just this location. The Whole Foods chain has gotten worse. They started as 'pricey' but they had great services. Now, they continually raise prices while the food quality and customer service are abysmal. Even the employees lack the friendliness and courtesy they were known for. Since they stopped carrying products I used, there is no reason for me to ever return.
google avatar

Chan'tel M.

Yelp
I'll be honest, I don't shop Whole Foods often due to cost, but I saw there were some reasonable deals I could take advantage of as an Amazon Prime Member. This was the first time I tried using the the new (or at least new to me) Amazon Prime member deals. It worked easily at checkout. Just scan the qr code (2 dimensional matrix barcode) on your phone located in your Amazon app, and it applies any savings and discounts. Like Target, it's a peaceful browsing experience that I could get used to. I may have to swing by more often for a few items (just a FEW lol). Their organic mandarins were seriously the best I've ever tasted. The sushi was great too with quality, fresh ingredients (no imitation crab). Great vitamins and beauty products. I'll be back...even if just for sushi!
google avatar

Lisa O.

Yelp
The Amazon pick up/drop off station is crap. Went in about 2 weeks ago to return 1 item. I was in line with about 3 other people and I'm not exaggerating when I say I was in there for 30 minutes. There was an older woman that appeared to be the only one doing any kind of work at all. There were 3 guys standing around with their thumbs up their butt chatting. They were the ones that were doing the returns. He scanned my item and said nothing else to me. Not a thank you not anything. So I waited thinking I would be getting a receipt. I finally asked do I get a receipt? He said no you'll get one in about 30 minutes. Any time I do a return at UPS for Amazon, they give A1 customer service. The only reason I went there was bc the item was free return only at Whole Foods. Next time I'll pay the money to avoid that place like the plague.

Yelp
So it is time for an update after so many years! Whole Foods, we have been through the pandemic and back again. But yet and still you reign supreme in Las Colinas!! You are back with your salad bar and all of your hot bar selections. I do think the selections are not quite the same as they were pre covid. I would like to see more abundance in terms of hot fresh food - BUT - the salad and veggies are always freshly stocked. I always know I can come in here and get a yummy meal if I'm in a pinch. Great for families too, as you can come in here and get one of their piping hot pizzas or even order one custom made. My favorite section though hands down is still going to have to be their bath and beauty products. There is ALWAYS a sale on their essential oils, all natural soaps and Epsom salts. Perfect if you're an athlete in need of some rejuvenation! Or just in need of some stress relief during stressful times. Thanks for keeping this area fully stocked! I will always and forever love this location. Great work and way to keep your long time customers happy!

Yelp
I was excited to see this location finally opened last year. Located near my office, it provides me with a convenient alternative when needing to pick up an item or two before heading home in the evening. Like other Whole Foods, this store is organized and clean which makes it easy for me to find what I'm shopping for. The staff I have encountered is very friendly and helpful They have well-stocked section of produce a decent variety. Where this location differs from other Whole Foods that I frequent is in the fish and meat department. Most locations have a grilled area which features meats such as brisket, ribs, etc. This location does not have that but it does have a nice alternative which features grilled/smoked seafood that makes for a change. I have tried the salmon prepared with many types of seasoning along with their shrimp it all has been tasty. Also, this location has a nice hot food and salad bar with lots of variety. This variety along with the seafood selections, makes it simple to stop here and put together my own personal dinner entrée which is ready to eat. Like other locations, this one has a wine/beer bar. While I have not checked it out, it seems to always be very busy. As for parking, this store shares a huge parking lot with other businesses in the area. I've never had a problem locating a space. If you're a Whole Foods fan and happen to be in the area, I recommend checking out this location.

Yelp
I agree with the other reviews that the deli or ready made food was picked through and sparse. I think it was because it was sold out and not replenished. Deli workers did help me since we were staying for a weekend and needed something to eat at our hotel.

Yelp
This is my favorite go to place. I loved Whole Foods Market and I've been whole food at other city. I lived in New York and Virginia before, but Texas Whole Foods markets are bigger than nyc or va. This place all worker is kindly and everything so fresh.

Yelp
The juice bar. No one is ever there. if they happen to be there it closes at 3 PM???? That really really sucks. I've been there dozens of times. I was only able to get smoothies once and they were actually good. Please fix this problem.

Yelp
What is not to love about Whole Foods? I mean, yes, the prices are a bit steep. I am a fan of their prepared foods and salad bar. Their sushi and dumplings are phenomenal! They have a separate check-out for those who want to purchase a few items, such as the freshly prepared foods, so that is super handy. What I also really like is the Amazon kiosk at the west entrance. Since there seems to be an increase in stealing Amazon packages in the area, i opted to have our recent purchase sent to here instead. Once the items are delivered, you will receive an email from Amazon. Use this code at the self-check in and the specific holding area will open so you can grab your purchase. Super convenient and I don't have to worry about someone else taking it from my front door!

Yelp
Came to Whole Foods because of the highly recommended deli sandwiches. Sad to say that when I came into this location around 6pm (3 hours before the deli closes) ALL sandwiches were unavailable to order. I went to the sushi bar instead and it wasn't too empty so I was able to grab rolls I like thankfully! I suggest calling before you go in to make sure this location specifically isn't having stock issues with the deli.

Yelp
3.8 stars. This place is clean throughout. Nice selection of almost everything you could think of. They have self serve mochi, which was what I was interested in mostly. Pretty good flavors. I had green tea, strawberry and a flavor called sakura, which tasted basically like vanilla. Mild flavors and they're not too sweet at all. I docked off a few points because I tried the clam chowder and it was very bland to me. I rarely add salt and pepper to anything, but this time I did. The clam chowder tasted like white gravy with seafood thrown in. Good, but I had higher hopes. Will definitely come back! I really like the dining room with the large windows. I wish the had more window seats!
google avatar

Yelp
Why is this the only WF with almost no food ever in the deli area? Is there not enough traffic to warrant something other than vegan chicken mayonnaise dish? Come on WF.
google avatar

Yelp
This review is limited in scope to the Cuban Sandwich offered at the sandwich board within the prepared foods area. If you are curious about how Whole Foods does their Cuban because you've enjoyed this style of sandwich in places like Tampa or from local Cuban spots you will be disappointed and should move on. And while I would not demand a strict adherence to authentic preparation from a grocery store, I think there are some minimum requirements, e.g., roast pork, ham, mustard, cheese (preferably Swiss), and pickle. I would also argue that a Cuban should also have salami but many argue that its requirement is up for debate. What we have here instead are: Wrong bread, toasted not pressed Too much mustard No other discernible meat except ham Pickles that were too sweet Cheese (Swiss I think) Now I can deal with no salami but the biggest miss of all in my opinion has to be a lack of roast pork. Not even a sliced deli meat analog of that. On the bright side the White Bean Turkey Chili was exceptional.

Yelp
Unfortunately I've had to remove all of my photos and positive remarks for this store due to an epic failure by customer service, management, and corporate, to effectively and expeditiously deal with an issue. I've been a customer since this store opened. I hyped their grand opening on various social media channels. I took great pics and regularly suggested them in the local community board Taste of Irving. I'm spent hundreds of dollars in this store every week. I regularly came in for the hot food bar and fresh juices. I even ordered holiday meals. I am now ceasing to further patronize this store based on the fact that it took 6 weeks, at least 10 different employees, and countless phone calls and emails to find out that they simply do not care. That's fine, they don't have to care. And I also do not have up give them anymore of my hard-earned cash. Very unfortunate that it's come to this. I used to hold WF in high regard. I highly recommend Natural Grocers or Sprouts instead.

Yelp
I give 5 stars because of the great location and the TIRAMISU! I love their tiramisu, which is perfect in taste with great price. I would get it from there for all occasions. Sometimes when I get there late, everything is sold out. They should make plenty to sell!!! Also love their tres leches and mochi ice creams.

Yelp
Looks like it's a brand new Whole Foods! I had a good time walking around and exploring all of the brands they had on the shelf. It's claimed to be America's healthiest grocery store but I beg to differ because I saw quite a few unhealthy snacks just like any other grocery store.

Yelp
They have a wine bar inside where you can sit down with a glass or a beer? Yes, this is my place and my people! I absolutely love this location.....there's plenty of parking, clean and now that Amazon owns Whole Foods, there's a bit more of saving action for your wallet. Prime users get an extra 10% off of yellow priced sale items when using the WF app I usually come here to grab something from the hot bar or salad bar and they have plenty of variety. And sometimes I just come here to walk around and wait for the store to tell ME when I need. I wish their prepared foods section was a little bigger though but can't hate on them too much for that.

Yelp
I just love WF and this location is so clean, has friendly staff, produce/shelves are always stocked, I could go on & on. It's consistent which is key for me returning

Yelp
Whole Foods in Irving is here! I've been passing by here for months anticipating when it would open and it finally has! I went here last Sunday afternoon and loved just walking around and seeing everything. Whole Foods is spacious without being so large and feeling like you are being swallowed up. I loved the variety of fruits, vegetables, and nuts that were available. Unfortunately I did not love the prices--the quality is there, but $2.99 a pound for apples, $4.99 for 8 ounces of blackberries, and $1 for a banana because it is organic?!? It is just a little too pricey for me to shop at every week, but I will be back to get more items such as fresh cranberry flax granola that may not be readily available at other stores. I love the variety of healthy and whole products that they have available. Just rows and rows of products from hummus, milk, cheese, cleaning products, cookies, burritos, and so much more. The meat section is expansive as well with fresh, frozen, and prepared available. I love that they have a beer and wine bar, cheese bar, and fresh food area available. They have an extensive fresh food buffet with a variety of meat, fish, and meatless items available. Inside the food area is a cart with frozen macaroons and mochi for sale. Such a great addition! Something I have never seen in a larger grocery store before! I love that there is so much available, it is fresh, and the ingredients and items that are in the store have been thought about and clearly selected, but just the price. I am hoping that with them now connected to Amazon maybe the prices will become more reasonable. But, until that changes I will be back to drool and shop for the items that are reasonable. Such a nice store with great customer service as well!

Yelp
I just got back from WF and discovered that my lemonade has a "best by" date of 7/22/19, and today is 11/3/19. And worse yet, this is probably the third time this particular brand of lemonade has been expired in the past six months when I discovered it after coming home. Shame on me for not always remembering to check before my purchase. For the first two times, I chucked it up to someone making a mistake, so I just poured out the bottle. But this third time was the final straw, I drove right back to WF and demanded my refund. The service lady was nice, but it was not her fault. It is the store manager's fault for not getting his act together and making sure you don't have expired products on the shelves. Especially, the number of times it has happened. I guess I expected too much from WF. Also, found a bag of chips in the same purchase that is due to expire in 10 days. On the same grocery shopping trip, I was going to pick up some food for dinner from the hot food bar. Looking around, I must've seen about a dozen flies landing on the various food selections! I should've taken a photo of it. How is it this is acceptable? Why is the City of Irving health dept not looking into this? Is it just his particular WF location? I don't recall seeing these issues when I shopped at other WF locations.

Yelp
Finally Irving has Whole Foods!! I have been to many Whole Food markets around the DFW and this location is the biggest location I've been to! This location has a lot of seating areas. The beer area has huge seating area, the food side has great spacious seating, outside has a wide seating area too!! You don't feel cramped in their. During lunch hour during the week it is crazy!! So try not to go during that time. They have a great bakery, buffet, and huge wine selection. They have the best wings that are already sauce up so you just pop them in the oven. Their fresh bread is amazing , a little hint keep it in the freezer to keep good! I love Whole Foods and this is the best location!!!!

Yelp
Went to the preview event today after waiting about a year for this to open. Am so excited to have this store in Las Colinas. The cheese pizza and Green Goddess Juice really stood out to me. I highly recommend both! Also, thy have Dutch stroop waffles which were delicious! The staff were all extremely friendly and managed the large crowd well. Am also delighted to finally have access to more natural products including natural soap and deodorant. The only con I see is parking, this may continuously be an issue as their parking lot is not big enough in my opinion. Even today people were parked in the grass. Defiantly go and check it out and have a glass of wine while you stroll around.
