Whole Foods Workers Ask Amazon to Cut Ties With ICE-Aligned Palantir | Eater

"Employees and former staffers at the supermarket chain have escalated public opposition to the parent company’s business ties to Palantir and its sale of facial‑recognition technology, arguing these services enable deportations and law‑enforcement raids (citing an August raid at a Mississippi food‑processing plant). A group called Whole Worker issued a statement expressing solidarity with undocumented people seeking asylum, noting Palantir’s 2011 involvement in plans to spy on labor organizers, and demanding that the parent company cut all business with Palantir and other firms involved in the oppression of marginalized groups. The statement emphasizes that moral condemnations alone won’t stop collaboration with ICE, calls for workers inside the company to use their leverage, and comes amid growing grocery‑worker unionization efforts and broader protests against policies and billionaires that contribute to border crises." - Jaya Saxena

This Whole Foods Store boasts a fantastic selection of organic produce, meats, and groceries. Their prepared foods section is a lifesaver with delicious and healthy options for quick meals. I especially love the hot bar and salad bar. Customer service is generally good, and I appreciate their support of local businesses by featuring local products. Be prepared for a slightly higher price point compared to traditional grocery stores. Pro Tips: * Check for weekly sales and Amazon Prime member deals to save some money. * Go early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid crowds. Overall: Whole Foods offers great options for high-quality, organic groceries, including my personal favorite: dried crystallized ginger slices candy. Just be mindful of the higher price points.

Great products and staff. Great food as well including buffet and desserts! Very reasonable price for the buffet as well.

Whole Foods is phenomenal — easily one of my favorite places to shop. The store is always clean, well-organized, and full of high-quality products. From fresh produce and specialty items to the hot bar and bakery, everything feels thoughtfully curated. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and I love discovering new local and organic finds. It’s more than just a grocery store — it’s a great experience every time I go.

Google
They have a nice selection of health food options. Good quality meats. A bit pricey but that's to be expected. However, where they really fail is in the prepared food department. The people working back there have an incredibly bad attitude. Very combative and dismissive. I tried to order a pizza when I asked if I could place an order for a whole pizza, I immediately got a nasty face. No hi, hello, what can we get you, etc. after I placed my order I don't get a ticket, a number, a time... I asked if I should have a number. The woman said, "do you want to pay?" I said, "sure". I sat down and waited to be called. 30 minutes passed and no one came over so I went to ask. She barked something else at me. At this point I just went to pay for the stuff in my cart and I left. Never again.

Google
Whole Foods truly impressed me with its incredible array of fruits and vegetables – many of which I'd never seen elsewhere! The store was also exceptionally clean and well-organized, making for a very enjoyable shopping experience.

I do not recommend the delivery service. If you are going to shop through the app, pick it up yourself. The driver over ran 45 min late today, and my order ended up being rescheduled. Amazon customer service set me up with a new delivery slot also promising to re-pick the order. At the last 30 min of the promised windows, I was notified of cancellation. The problem with this is the funds don’t go back on your debit card immediately. Customer service would not cancel the order earlier, which is what I was actually looking to do. She told me the driver was 10 min away, I told her I had to clock in at my job in 20. All and all, the in store shoppers do a 8/10 good job of picking orders. The delivery service today was absolutely a negative experience . I also reached out to the driver twice leading up to finally having to call customer service, bc the driver kept hitting voicemail and would not answer or return my call. Pişş poor performance. I was also disappointed in the delegation Rolf order of things once the delivery became late and could not be fulfilled bc of the 9-11 am window it was supposedly 10 min away at 12pm ✌🏽

Whole Foods has a nice quality selection of everything lol. The first thing I tried was a pizza and I got the wrong one lol. I was a little let down because I thought it was their version of a cheese pizza but I was mistaken. Still don’t known exactly what it was but it tasted like a big ravioli. Very tomatoey. My second trip back to get some better pictures I saw they had a different looking cheese pizza that looked more traditional. Of course I got two slices and it was the bomb. They also have a hot line and salad line. Where you fix you own for $11 per pound. Truly better shopping center than imagined and definitely will make more trips here.

The Highland Village Whole Foods serves all the neighborhoods in the LeFleur East area. Food bar (salad and hot bar). Pizzas and deli. Plus all the goods that you would expect. Close. Convenient. Steadily busy, but not overcrowded.

Yelp
This Whole Food is slightly different in a great kind of a way. Oh, of course, it's Whole Foods, so they were very friendly, as most are, always helpful. But I really liked the store layout; every space was utilized. But what got me in a good way was the white rice was in a big steamer, still fresh as ever. Another thing that stood out was the food container. There were actually plates with clear tops. The boxes were still there, and I used one because I wasn't getting much so I didnt want to waste one. But I have to say, whoever thought of that needs a standing ovation!

Yelp
This Whole Foods Market was smaller in size, but it packs pretty much the same punch as its larger siblings. During my visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional experience this compact store had to offer. Despite its modest footprint, this Whole Foods manages to offer the same diverse array of high-quality products, from fresh produce to my favorite specialty items and all the random items that I seem to pick up in between while browsing the aisles. The aisles are thoughtfully curated, making it easy to navigate and find exactly what I was looking for. The staff members were super friendly and was willing to go the extra mile to to help me check out when I had an issue with my digital payment. The staff was also helpful to me as I struggled to find a few items even in the smaller store LOL. The store's prepared foods section is a standout feature, offering a tempting selection of delicious and healthy meals to-go. I saw everything from made-to-order sandwiches to gourmet salads and hot entrees, there's something to satisfy every palate. Most impressive of course was a coffee bar that also sold beer. I could just move in and live here. Overall, my experience at the Whole Foods was nothing short of excellent. While it may be small in size, it more than makes up for it with its exceptional quality, service, and commitment to its customers. If you are like me and your local store has closed and you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a truly enjoyable shopping experience.

Yelp
I recently shopped at Whole Foods in Jackson, MS, and loved their amazing selection of Papyrus greeting cards. They're also one of the few spots around here with Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream; the Salty Caramel flavor is incredible!!! The store is always clean, staff is friendly.

Yelp
Whole Foods has delicious prepared foods & the best cheese straws. I often drive 75 miles to the nearest location just to buy cheese straws.

Yelp
Always have an excellent selection of Organic foods.. beautiful fresh vegetables.. the meat department is the best in area .. .. and I love their take out buffet

Yelp
Love this store. The produce and flowers are always beautiful. I love their selection for grab and go lunches. It's always well stocked and the options are great. Today I had ranch chipotle turkey wrap, and also grabbed a BLT wrap for tomorrow's lunch. I enjoyed the Thai Peanut Chicken wrap I tried there, too. It's so convenient and quick for a grab and go lunch! Beautiful store!

Yelp
My mom and I went to Whole Foods Wednesday night. We were at the self checkout and of course my mom over bagged the bag and it tore, spilling the contents. The Whole Foods employee at the self checkout pretended like she didn't notice and went somewhere else. My mom asked her two questions and again pretended like she didn't hear. Great customer service Whole Foods. She had a bad attitude.

Yelp
Whole Foods is a real asset to Jackson, MS. Location is accessible to all, selection of foods is second to no one, stays open late and they stock many unusual items. Pricey? Yes, but careful shopping can. . .lessen this problem. Oh, and employees are helpful and friendly. Case in point is this morning I was buying avocados and in checking out, I had trouble with my phone and Whole Foods access. A young man--George is his name--tapped my phone a few times, and problem was solved. Yes, I am happy we have a Whole Foods.

Bradly R.

Yelp
Spent 100 bucks on baby back ribs and a sack of avocados. Ribs were excellent but the avocados left something to be desired.

Yelp
I love whole foods. I've been doing keto for a year and a half now and I can find some pretty cool new things to try here. This location was nice, though I haven't been to a whole foods I haven't liked yet.

Yelp
High end grocery store! Amazing buffet! Lots of vegetarian selections! And they have really cool seating upstairs and outside! They usually have samples throughout the store! The dessert selection is huge!!!

Yelp
Somebody asked me if I was moving to Oxford, I said it's too far from Whole Foods Market. I love this place and go there two or three times a week.

Richard F.

Yelp
This speaks to the bakery -- it used to be quite good. Now the selections are spotty and at times the shelves are empty. What's worse -- the helpers in the bakery are experts at ignoring you and when you do get their attention they are rude. This has been going on for about the last year -- was there a change in management or ...??

Yelp
I HATE this Whole Foods. It honestly is bad for their brand to have service and selection this poor. Nothing like the other nice stores across the country I've visited: They are always out of EVERYTHING. Literally. Every fucking time. Prices are frequently wrong. And not in the good way. If I had a dime for every time I was overcharged, I would be rich (or at least break even). Sometimes, prices are downright missing from items. Like the other day when NONE of the many types of mushrooms displayed prices. Is it pay what you wish? I hope so. Speaking of produce, it's horrible. Not fresh, most of it not even organic. Kroger has a better and cheaper selection. On many occasions their dairy products are on the verge of expiring. Not as in one week, but as in one day. Triple-check your milk and cream before leaving. Their bacon is literally DISGUSTING, smelly and old-tasting. (How can you screw up bacon??) Also, the meat counter staff are rude AF. The most exotic things you will find at the "cheese counter" are gruyere and manchego. Truly groundbreaking. Their seafood is hideously overpriced and completely TASTELESS. The bakery department is self-service only. Sorry, for these prices I shouldn't have to slice my own bread with your backwards-ass slicer. (A metal separator prevents your sliced loaf from sliding neatly into your plastic bag because it's on the wrong end. You have to pick your loaf up in portions and so slices invariably come popping out, reducing your loaf to a bag full of mismatched bread chunks). The layout of the store is completely nonsensical. Looking for the spices and extracts? Oh, that wouldn't be in the baking department like most places. No, it's hidden among the rice and grains in the bulk department (even though spices aren't sold in bulk at this store). This is only the beginning. The hot bar. Where do I begin? Unless you like barbecue and peach cobbler you are shit out of luck, because that's basically all they serve except the occasional runny Indian dish. Every day. To top it off, you won't find any friendly staff here like the other locations. With precious few exceptions, most of the checkout staff are curt and rude AF. Oh, don't expect a positive experience if you use the men's restroom either. 90% of the time they are out of toilet paper and hand towels. It's also dirty. And you know what? The writing is on the wall. Except during the lunch rush at the hot bar, you hardly ever see anyone shopping here. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the store shutters by the end of the year... resulting in yet another empty store front in Jackson. Thanks Whole Foods! This place is truly pathetic. Cya! PS. I'm officially boycotting now that Amazon has taken over. I'm not really down with a tech company controlling the nation's food supply. Buh bye.

Yelp
Wow, this place is beautiful. Whoever's in charge of lining up products neatly on the shelves has made an art form of it. Lots of fun stuff we don't have in the Little Rock store, and cleaner, brighter and better laid-out. Staff friendlier too. Thank you, everyone!

Yelp
This location is pretty enough, but not the Whole Foods experience I'm used to. Not one of the employees offered assistance. The prices are higher here than in Michigan, which I don't understand because the jobs don't pay the same here as they do there. How do people manage to live and eat well here? Anyway, the selection of food was ok, but again, not what I expected. I'll shop here for my health & beauty products perhaps...and the salad bar.
google avatar

Yelp
Smaller Whole Foods compared to larger cities but they have all the essentials and more. Extremely friendly staff. The hot bar offers really healthy and tasty options only downside is it's pricey. Seafood and meat counter offer fresh selections and they have an Amazon locker. I go at least weekly and enjoy perusing the aisles and always leave with a new and healthy find that I incorporate into my life.

Yelp
IOrder a cake that I have got from other locations and it was made out of the scraps from another cake. The chantilly cake is - a three layer cake with berries on top. You can see from the picture that what I got was made from the top part of the cake that is normally trashed. I'm only giving the Jackson location one star because you can't give them zero stars. I would have returned the cake but I purchased it to take to Slidell la. Next time I will drive to New Orleans to get it I won't be purchasing another from the jackson store. UMary s. I sent the email today to whole foods. Mary I sent and email on September 28, 2018 and receive a computer generated email at 8:18am and that is the last I heard from whole foods. That is not good customer services since today is oct 3

Yelp
AMAZING! Simply amazing. They have all those unique hard to find items. The best seafood and meat items. There produce is always fresh and the best I've seen. The prices are high so prepare yourself for that but the quality is worth the price!

Yelp
A couple weeks after Jackson Whole Grocer became another member of the Whole Foods chain, I could not be more disappointed. Today's example? I mentioned over the past few visits that they no longer have duck, frozen or fresh. They offered to check and call me. They called me this morning and said they had it again and to come in. I came by. Yet, no duck, and no one had any idea who called me. They triple checked. Locals lose when chains take over. Could not be more true here.

Yelp
I've been to whole foods all over the country, compared to others, this one might as well be just another over-priced grocery store with a pretty decor I love the whole foods brand because of the outstanding fresh produce and meat and seafood selection, however this one is sparse on varied selections, the produce is in poor rotten condition most of the time, most of it is pre-packaged and hardly anything was correctly labels or priced. Honestly you're better off going to Fresh Market in Ridgeland if you're looks no for better selection and top notch quality or if you just want groceries head on over to Kroger. I disappointed that this wasn't the breakthrough fresh meat and produce store I hoped it would've for our area.
google avatar

Yelp
Whole foods have some of the best cheese selection in Jackson. If you're looking to put together a charcuterie board, this is the place to go. Cons: some prices are a total rip off, dessert isn't as good as fresh markets.
google avatar

Jasmine B.

Yelp
I love the Whole Foods, I just wish they offered more vegan pizza options like the Mediterranean pizza that other Whole Foods have since they are a health store! (Because everyone doesn't like Daiya/processed vegan cheese pizza)

Yelp
Love this store. My husband and I go there every week faithfully. Good customer service and great products. Oh yeah the deli food is AMAZING

Yelp
Freshness and quality with pricing makes this a great choice. Numerous items from meat eaters to vegans.

Yelp
Grateful for a Whole Foods in Jackson - despite not being the best store in the country, this location carries the same wf essential staples and many of the same delectable $$$ pricey delights . If anything I'd love to see more abundant and fresher produce altho I trust economics/supply and demand are reasonable constraints. Kind folks as is all over Jackson. Jackson! Support WF lest we have nothing!
google avatar

Yelp
I am so thankful to have a legitimate grocery store in Jackson. I lived in Hattiesburg for 1.5 years and there are no good places to shop there. Of course Whole Foods is more expensive than you'd like, but I come here for many staples including fresh produce, steaks, and guacamole. I also like coming here for buffet lunch, and today I got the buffet breakfast! I wish the location opened at 7am but that's my only complaint! Thank you for serving Mississippi with quality food.
google avatar

Yelp
This store has the absolute best customer service I have ever experienced. The managers Tracey and Aaron always goes above and beyond for me. The seafood department which I frequent has some of the freshest fish. I have them prepare my fish with seasonings and marinades so all I have to do is pop them in the oven. It's a total game changer when trying to get healthy food on the table fast! Anita and Nick always have my seafood ready to go and it's perfectly seasoned. They will also take my order over the phone and have it ready for pickup when I'm in a hurry. I just can't say enough great things about this store. I'm a happy customer for sure!

Yelp
Wholefoods = awesome. I am so happy Wholefoods is in Jackson. I am in love with the prepared food section of this place! There is such a great variety, especially, vegetarian options. Salad bar, hot food, sandwiches, pizza, soups, and [i think] bbq. It works out great when meeting friends there for lunch/dinner because you can get totally different sections at the same time, plus no worries about getting separate checks. Fast, simple, and good quality. The beer and coffee bar is a nice touch. On more than one occasion, I've gotten a cupcake from the prepared desserts and enjoyed it along with my latte at the coffee bar. It's a very delicious combo.

Yelp
Amazing experience, their food was really fresh and good. First time there and will definitely be going back. Staff greets you with a smile!

Yelp
As part of a national chain, this Whole Foods isn't particularly different than any other WF I've been to in other states. In fact, I'd say it's a bit on the smaller side but that makes total sense considering Jackson is a smaller city! As a Jackson resident, I do try and stick mainly to local businesses but I make the occasional exception for Whole Foods because they are so adamant about stocking their produce section with as much local produce as possible, which is hard to find at some of our local grocers. (Which is always a disappointment for me.) I know people love to joke about the high prices at WF ("Whole Paycheck," am I right?) but considering the high standards WF holds all the food they offer to, I don't usually mind paying a little more. I'm not adamant about eating organic, but I do prefer to whenever possible and I trust the Whole Foods stamp of approval. If you're grocery shopping at Whole Foods on a budget (like me! holla!), I highly recommend sticking to their in house brand-- the 365 products. They're better quality than the generic brands from Target, Kroger or Wal-Mart and the prices are comparable. That said, I don't do a lot of my grocery shopping here. Rather, I come for speciality items, the prepared foods, or the bar. For specialty items, like really unique and delicious meats, cheeses and produce, WF is a great choice in a town with limited grocery shopping options like Jackson. The prepared foods section is also excellent. Everything is super-reasonably priced (IMO) and crazy delicious. I'm a huge fan of their honey mashed sweet potatoes and mac-n-cheese. Their pizzas are also so good. My favorite part of Whole Foods though (and this says a lot about me, I guess) is half-price pint night on Monday nights at the bar. For good, craft beers, this is one of the best deals in town. I highly recommend grabbing a couple friends and heading down to the Whole Foods for some inexpensive, quality beers and maybe to split a delicious pizza. It's a really fun night! The environment is chill, quiet and friendly and you can pick up a couple groceries while you're there. They also have wi-fi, if you wanna work while you sip! Overall, if you're familiar with Whole Foods then you won't be blown away by this particular store but it's a nice place with a friendly, knowledgable staff and I think it's a great addition to Jackson.

Yelp
This berry butter cream cake was phenomenal! Moist and not overly sweet. Macerated berries are sooo good. This cake was so good, you have to give it a try. Also available in a petit version.

Yelp
By far the worst whole foods I've EVER visited! EVER!!! The food service is the absolute worst, although the food IS good. If the people working here cared any less, or if the food service was ANY slower, they would be moving backwards. Every time I have come here, you can never understand a word the guys behind the food counter is saying. Not only because they essentially are whispering, but it's that "Jackson Mush-mouth" dialectic that's unintelligible and unrecognizable as English. The rest of the staff I can't sorry too much about, because they all act like they have some other place to be than to give you a warm greeting or any kind of warm interaction. If I COULD give this location lower than one star it would be a ZERO! Because that's how much effort I see every time I frequent here... I HATE this location.

Yelp
This rating is primarily based on the Oatmeal cookies from the bakery. They are the tastiest I've had in a very long time. They were not too sweet and the perfect balance of nuts and raisins. The fresh taste solidified my commitment to indulge in a cookie a week- until I overindulge and swear off cookies for the rest of the year, which might come sooner than I expect. But right now I am a full cookie enthusiast!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of most Whole Foods markets. After traveling cross country in a car this summer, to and from, we visited about 33 Whole Foods. It's hard not to compare. The Whole Foods in Jackson has rapidly gone down hill. First off, about a year ago, a big campaign was launched to save on produce and fruit. I saw a change in my bill (which matters because most of the fruit and veggies has the saddest death on my way home from the grocery store. I've never seen food rot so quickly). Within four months, my bill was back up to where it used to be. I purchase quality ingredients. No funny stuff--just because I'm in a fancy box, I'm good for you, but not really-stuff. I purchase those foods and ingredients that also cost a pretty, shiny penny and then some. Besides the fact that my grocery bags have the bottom fall out at least twice per month, or a strap fall off the bags I bring to the store...or broken eggs while en route, it's very frustrating to get home and have this many issues with groceries after spending between $270-$315 per trip. Our average monthly Whole Foods Jackson grocery bill is between $2,348.00. Including tax. Maybe a little professional development is needed. Very often I am asked if I have the "coupon app" to which I reply, "no, I have too many apps on my phone and not enough room." More than five times, I've been told if I had the app, I would have saved money. That's the most disheartening thing you could say to a customer who just spent money at their store. The quality of ingredients are a 4.3 at best on a 1-10 scale. The selection is scant and the other day, I purchased brown "fresh" broccoli for over $4.00. This Whole Foods reminds me of, well, not a Whole Foods. It's champagne costs for Budweiser products.

Yelp
I've been to bigger Whole Foods stores in other cities but since we have one locally I am just glad we have it. I like their range of foods and essential oils or soaps. I use their lavender shampoo and it's a great price. I enjoy their hot bar when I want a quick meal and also enjoy the grocery when I'm actually shopping and looking for specific things. The have a nice selection of beer that is hard to find in Jackson and still sell other local goods. I would suggest coming to the hot bar no later than 6pm or you might not have many options. Today I got a Kevita sparking probiotic drink. Yuuumm!

Yelp
It's Whole Foods, it's everything you expect. Nothing more or less. Their prices are reasonable for the quality of food, especially their organic products. Nice selection of things. Big and bright. Customer service good. Their food bar area could use more up keep. Now their coffee drinks in the coffee bar area could use some work. They don't make the best espresso drinks. The shots they pull often die or are weak. Just a little more training in that area could help.

Yelp
Went for a plate lunch and it was hot, fresh, and delicious! I will def be back soon for another!

Yelp
My first time visiting Whole Foods Jackson in the roughly 2 years it's been open. Although smaller than I'm used to, the store is Whole Foods quality and pretty gorgeous! The staff was incredibly helpful, honest, and friendly! I strode in specifically looking for the juice bar, only to find out that there wasn't one. (Boo. Hiss!) Although disappointed, that gave me the chance to try their fresh pressed juices in the fridge and I enjoyed them. We bought a bottle of the Green Lemonade and their citrus with ginger juice (can't recall the name), and both were fresh tasting and delicious! I was disappointed to find that because of their size, they don't do much baking in store and everything (other than a bit of bread) is mainly shipped from Atlanta. I'm used to fresh donuts and other fun goodies coming out piping hot for store samples. And I didn't get that. The powdered donut I tried off the rack was "meh" at best. The hot bar, coffee bar, and pizza bar were "WF standard" and I look forward to trying it out. The also have ample seating for patrons. Overall, from the quick gander a took yesterday, I'm excited about becoming a regular at Whole Foods Jackson!

Yelp
My weekly shopping stop. Whole Foods has everything I need from organic fruits, to lean meats, and healthy oats. The staff is nice and eager to ask for help, and scanning my amazon Whole Foods app is always a plus!

Charlotte W.

Yelp
This Whole Foods is taking advantage of the panic to cheat its customers. I mistakenly picked up shampoo instead of the conditioner. Never opened it and returned the next day after realizing my mistake. I was told we are not taking returns or exchanges on ANYTHING. Of course there was no signs at the register, just this tiny sign at customer service. I will never buy anything else from Amazon or Whole Foods! I don't like buying anything from companies who lie and cheat.
google avatar

Sabrina G.

Yelp
Whole Foods is always nice, but this one is a bit small, so I'm disappointed a decent amount. I regularly can't find things I would hope to find there. Their beer selection is so sad compared to others. Honestly I don't feel like it's much better than a good liquor store. Still has good quality items, just sad that it's selection is much slimmer.
google avatar

Claire R.

Yelp
This Whole Foods has a very limited selection of products. I had a difficult time finding products I normally find at Whole Foods which was frustrating. It's a cute little store, clean and friendly staff - just wish it had as extensive of a selection as most Whole Foods.
google avatar

Alicia M.

Yelp
Whole foods is a great place for fresh, healthy, and quick food. I went to the burger place and had the Turkey Burger & Fries- only $8 for made to order, fresh food. Had about a 10 min wait. Staff was great as usual.

Yelp
The selection of produce is the smallest I've ever seen in a Whole Foods. On top of the small selection, the prices are exorbitant! I shop at Whole Foods on a regular basis in the northern Virginia /DC area and the prices here are ridiculous! That Sam's container of pineapple is $8.99 vs $16.99 here. REGUALR/NON ORGANIC Bananas are $0.67 vs $0.78 here. Roasted almonds are $6.99 vs $7.99 here. I was also VERY surprised to find Dole-branded grapes as the ONLY option for grapes, this time of year. Of course, non organic. There were no organic options for a lot of the produce......what is the point? This is also the smallest Whole Foods I've ever stepped foot into. While I am happy for the additional option of grocery shopping in Jackson, the selection leaves a lot to be desired and the prices are unnecessarily higher than a lot of Whole Foods.

Yelp
Love Whole Foods!! When I walk in and smell the "grocery store" makes me smile, I say "Grocery Store" because I have no other word to describe Whole Foods!! It's not just a "Grocery Store" it's an experience!! I would give anything to have a Whole Foods on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!!

Yelp
Sometimes the prices are a little to high for what you are actually getting, but most of the time they are reasonable. I love that I can find a healthy recipe online and go to Whole Foods and find the exact brand that they are asking me to cook with.

Yelp
Nice whole foods store. Compared to Whole Foods in bigger cities, it's meh (no bells or whistles). They do, however, cover the basics pretty well. There's always a good variety in the hot food area. The aisles are nice and clean. I did notice that there aren't many aisles in the store though. I typically spend way too much time in there unnecessarily searching for things that should be easy to find, yet they're not in the store at all. Not sure if sales vary location-wise, but I do find this store to be kinda pricy( which sounds derpy to say that considering what store it is but, geesh!). There are a few specials they run, but it's like a dollar off something that's usually $19.99 and I'm thinking HOLY SH** I can save a whole effing dollar! -_- Needless to say, this isn't my go to store. It's sad because this is the only WF within a 200+ mile radius and I feel like they know that and take advantage of it. It just frustrates me how simple it can be for this area to be really up-and-coming with new chain stores and restaurants and, yet, it never quite gets the memo. There's always a corner skipped. One thing I can say: No....TWO things: The customer service is flawless. The bakery section will be the death of me. Ever seen the episode of Spongebob where Squidward tries a Krabby Patty for the first time and starts snoshing the food and it goes straight to his thighs??? Yep... I've also heard the restaurant food is good but I haven't tried it yet. Mmkay I'm bored now. Didn't expect this to be so long. Just go there and maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't.
