Whole Foods Woodland Hills is one of those rare grocery stores that’s worth going out of your way for. The place is absolutely massive, which means the selection is incredible—whether you’re hunting for specialty cheeses, fresh seafood, plant-based options, or that obscure pantry item you usually have to order online. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, so finding what you need is quick and stress-free, even on a busy day. The store has a great flow, and it never feels cramped despite the huge crowds it can draw. Service here is consistently on point. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help, whether it’s guiding you to the right aisle or offering a tip on a new product. The prepared foods section is a standout, with plenty of fresh and tasty options for an easy meal. Produce is fresh and well-stocked, the bakery smells like it could tempt anyone into picking up something sweet, and the coffee bar makes a perfect stop before or after shopping. Between the size, the organization, and the service, this isn’t just a grocery stop—it’s an experience. Definitely one of the top Whole Foods locations in the region and absolutely worth the drive, even if it means braving rush hour traffic.

Make sure you check your sandwich if you are allergic/ don’t want a certain item inside it. I designed my own sandwich and DO NOT eat tomatoes, never asked for tomatoes and filled out a simple sandwich form. luckily I checked it before driving away only to find it loaded with tomatoes. This was very frustrating as I had already paid and was in a rush. Had to then go and reorder, causing me another 20 min in delay and cannot quite understand why they added tomato as it was a custom made sandwich that clearly didn’t have tomato in it. Then after getting the second edition I found they had missed the onions and aioli and sandwich was quite dull. Disappointing experience overall.

Great product and meats and cheeses but the self service salad bar and cafeteria food is not good late in the day. It looks like it's been there all day drying out in the warmer. Very surprised whole foods allowed this to happen.

I went to return something from Amazon, as Whole Foods is a return center. First time I'd been there. There was a good sized parking lot. The store was full of people. It was 12 noon on a Thursday. I was impressed by the bakery cookie display and the fresh veggie display.

A great place to shop! I love Whole Foods, because they always have a large variety of foods. I love their hot deli, with warm pizza, and they also have desserts, fresh fruits, hot barbecue meats, and even turkey legs, which I love! They have fresh fish, chicken pork, and a whole lot more to satisfy your taste buds! And I'm always excited to go to Whole Foods, great prices, and because the food is always so yummy, in their hot deli! Whole Foods has great staff who always greet you with a smile! And the atmosphere in the store was pleasant! l Oh, yes! Almost forgot the biscuits! Omgosh! These densely made, flaky-buttery, delectable biscuits are much better than those at other restaurants I've tried. Now, be careful when you take your first bite, you might just get hooked! And I thoroughly recommend, Whole Foods, to everyone.

I visit the hot bar and bakery frequently... However the hot bar is hit or miss, especially the pizza- not sure why it always appears over cooked. I'm giving 5 stars for Saturday 2/7/2026... because whomever was in charge of the hot bar knows how to do it ... In the evening all the food was still hot and fresh tasting with lots of choices!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💯

Love whole foods and the location is great, parking is easy. However some of the employees at the juice bar are rude (making you want to leave zero tip), and there is not enough assistance in the meat section. Sometimes you have to stand around for 5 minutes until someone from the meat section finally notices you to help you. 3 stars for the cleanliness and the kindness from employees at the registers, -2 stars for service at the juice bar and meat section.

I’ll give this Whole Foods store the benefit of the doubt and give you a three out of five despite the workers that oversee your Amazon center pointing at me and making a lot of remarks, because they didn’t want to take in the basket full of Amazon packages I had sending out. All I could do is smile and act nice in the hopes that they would take my packages the way they were acting. Horrible customer service on their part even though they did take the packages. I ended up telling my employer not to send me back to that store because of the way that I was treated when I went the first time. Horrible.

I like this Whole Foods location. Not only because it's the closest to me since the one in Tarzana closed down (sad day) but because the store is always stocked and I find everything I need. This year I decided to preorder their Thanksgiving catering package. Had a lot going on and just didn't have it in me to take on any cooking this year. I was pleasantly surprised with their turkey and sides- I will definitely be ordering catering again. Service is good, the store is organized and produce is fresh- can't complain.

We've been coming to this Whole Foods since it opened. We don't go as often as we used to since there are so many shopping options in the area, and getting in and out of the parking lot can be a bit difficult. The selection of items in this store has always been great. The service can be hit or miss...if you are calling ahead for any reason, you may not get someone that answers the phone. The store participates with Too Good To Go, and on occasion, we have ordered the bakery or prepared foods bags. We recently went in to pick up a bakery order and decided to get some additional items. We hadn't used the self-checkout before, but luckily, Imram was right there to let us know how to process everything. He was super helpful and provided top-notch customer service. Definitely an asset to the store.

Surprised by the many poor reviews as I just went for the first time and have only good things to report. Ok, parking lot was a bit crowded but go at off times and you'll be fine. Asked a few questions about where things were in the store and both times got a quick and accurate response. They have homemade, fresh pizza dough which I am excited to try. Prepared food area had lots of options and was pretty busy. Save a bit of money by using your Amazon Prime account.

This Whole Foods restored our confidence in the brand after a dreadful experience in a nearby Whole Foods where we just could not and would not buy anything there! This one is clean, all the produce is fresh and stored properly - even the hot food buffet would have been tempting had we been hungry. The service was friendly and efficient, and the general vibe/ambiance there was positive. Even though it was very busy there was ample parking. Yes we will be back!!

I shop here all the time but i'm getting disappointed as today again 1/4 of the elleno's brand yogurt - all of the marionberry was expired on the 21st today is 23rd. Another couple picked up another brand in the same section and it was also expired ! Come on , this used to be the best grocery store in town but this is just sloppy . It makes me wonder how safe the hot food/prepared food is! Mushrooms were mostly brown today also . I'm gonna have to haul it back down to Bristol farms . too bad , i loved your fresh chicken, the prices were super fair and the BBQ smoked pulled pork is the same level as Gus's bbq .

I've been to this location before! I stopped by before my flight to stock up on snacks for my trip--and for my wonderful driver. The cashier was so sweet and conversed with me about her fav items I was stocking up on. Love me some Whole Foods.

Whole Foods is a fantastic market; however, it's juice bar is outrageous. You can get vegetable juice, fruit juice, or a combination of the two the service people are superior and can answer any question. The place is warm and cozy. Go in and get a drink and then market Lauren Levinson

This place has it all! I love coming here for the fresh smoothies with collagen powder. The fresh produce area only has one scale in the back. Don't get caught buying a $20 bag of cherries!

I always come to Whole Foods when I'm looking for the freshest produce or unique ingredients for a recipe. The Woodland Hills location is convenient to the 101 freeway and has a decent parking lot. Their shelves are always stocked and their deli counters look visually appealing and full of delicious proteins. I've always had great service from the deli counters here. This Whole Foods has a great selection of wine and great options for grabbing food on the go. I love their made to order sandwiches too. I gave it four stars because somehow I always see dogs in this particular store and I don't feel like the staff ever says anything. I'm a dog lover myself, but I think dogs in grocery stores is a little gross. And I don't think it's legal unless it's a service animal? But I digress. I'll always shop at Whole Foods despite the steep prices because overall I think the quality of their products is great.

Can you guys hire people who answer the phone? Why is it an option to call individual depts if you can't get anyone in the meat dept to come to the phone. I was just on hold for 15 min being tossed around. Every time someone comes to the phone they are upset I'm waiting for the meat dept. Wow.

The 1 Star Rating is for an employee, not the whole store. I've been going to this Whole Foods location for many, many years. Not long ago I started going to the juice bar. I order the same exact thing every time I go and there are only 2 people who can make MY drink the way I like it. Well, today (09- 21-25 @ 8:25am) was a bad experience for me. I went in and one of the ladies who makes my APPLE GLOW drink was having a bad day yesterday. I asked her if she felt better today..... twice, she ignored me twice and had a major attitude towards me, so clearly I dont want someone in that space making anything for me (It was already made and had so much ginger in it I couldn't drink it so I returned it.) So, I guess there's only one person who can make my drink now. If she's not there when I come in during the early morning hours, I'll get my coffee and keep it moving or maybe I'll go to a different Whole Foods altogether. Whatever problems you're going through ALYSSA, please dont take it out on the customers. I truly hope things get better for you.

These are two "red" dragon fruit that Whole Foods sold to me. Unfortunately, I'm not color blind and these are actually WHITE inside (my toddler only eats red dragon fruit). When I called to complain, the condescending guy on the phone told me that "red" refers to the color of the OUTSIDE of the fruit, which is a bald faced lie (both red and white dragon fruit are red on the outside). Are they even organic, or is that a lie too?? I no longer trust Whole Foods. If you're going to charge your customers exorbitantly high prices, you should at least sell them the item promised based on the label.

Love this store, but uuuggghh there has been this creepy guy in the hot bar. He kept staring at me. Its not just one or twice its every time I'm there. He has no reason to be walking by and as soon as im there always staring and trying to get close to me ive also noticed its not just me he does that to. He looks unkept and creepy. I try to go early in the morning like 7-8 girls be aware of this creepy man. Update: he wears a beanie and is supposed to be a higher up from a regular worker But.....clean store super nice customer service!

I don't know what it is, but the food is really disgusting, it's sad because there isn't an organic realize that the food right there, almost everything is industrial, taken from a package and just warm it , Nothing organic, everything GMO. Whole food was something else before. have to go look for other options for hot food. is really bad food. are dry , over cooked , look disgusting, is horrible.

We're happy with Whole Foods in Woodland Hills. Prices are comparable to Ralphs and Vons, but the variety and range of products at this store is much more. The sushi deli folks, Hilwa, Nila and May, are very welcoming and friendly. We even got to know the security guard "Mart" who is very cool and friendly. Mart keeps an eye on the store and helps customers by pointing them to things they are looking for. The store is clean, organized, and it seems to be managed well.

Barbara in the vitamin area is very kind and knowledgeable. So awesome. She helped me find exactly what I needed.

So it's about a year later and the food at the hot bar has not improved as far as vegan options. Today there is rice, vegetable samosas and roasted potatoes. Meh....

This is a really nice Whole Foods location. Parking isn't too crazy to get in and out of. Once inside everything is organized well. They always have the freshest produce, hot foods and bakery items.

Ever since WF in Tarzana closed down a few years ago this location has had issues with managing overflow of crowded parking and aisles. The store is struggling to service an increase customer overload for one area. Part of the problem is Amazon allows customers to drop off packages at this small location which eats of limited parking for people who want to do some grocery shopping. It's common to see people circling around a small parking lot with tight parking spaces that barely fit a modern compact vehicle. Someone in corporate needs to revaluate the situation and just shut down the package returns/drop off at this location and send customers over to Amazon Go down the street or Amazon grocery on Topanga and Victory for packages related business.

For the third time now, I've gone into this store to make Amazon returns and each time, the kiosk box is completely overstuffed and there is no one working the Amazon Returns counter. They say it's because no one gets in to work the desk until 9am - rather inconvenient for a store that opens at 7am. I know I'm not the only one frustrated by this, as there's always a line of people behind me at the kiosk complaining about the exact same thing. Not to mention, the box being overstuffed leaves people's returned items exposed and very open to theft. Bummed that something that could be so convenient, especially for busy parents in the area, fails because of simple logistics. If the desk isn't going to be properly staffed, can the kiosk at least be emptied nightly so customers can self-serve the next morning?

This location has gone down hill!! I own Amazon stock and feel so disappointed by what has happened to WF. It was such a great unique shopping experience with department managers who had autonomy over what they ordered. Some team members are great and offer good customer service while others are terrible and should not be serving humans. Who manages this location? Seems like morale is down and employees could use some boosting. More smiles would be nice instead of feeling like you are bothering them to get a pound of ground meat. A while ago, I was in the store the same time regional managers were present - the store looked and felt incredible! Then management leaves and back to the old mediocre displays and service. More often than not, the produce quality has been terrible or unavailable. The deli always seems to be short staffed and often are out of the fork in the Road roasted chicken (Order more!). Recently on several occasions, when doing online order pick up, there are missing items, old spoiled produce and wrong items (I set it as do not substitute). This is time and money wasting. To the store manager, we have switched to shopping at Trader Joe's for the majority of our groceries. WF still has certain beef and select local products that I will continue to buy, but if another market had the same, we would switch.

Great place for groceries. The food choices are not too shabby and taste very good and I recommend getting a smoothie here!

Going up to three stars. We we bummed when Amazon bought out While Foods for many reasons. It's not the same place and never will be. I used to give them five stars but they dropped to two after the reinvention of the market. Going back up to a three. Service and quality still on point. Vibe still not as chill. That said, they are going up.

This is the only Whole Foods in the area but if there were more options, I would not shop here. The selection is limited and the produce does not last long at all. The service is also extremely inconsistent with some employees being very helpful and others actually rude. I recently returned organic berries that I bought the previous day and were moldy when I brought them home. I didn't have a receipt but asked if I could exchange them, understanding that usually you need a receipt. The employee who "helped me" was extremely dismissive and rude and told me "next time bring a receipt." Rather than apologizing for the inconvenience to me for purchasing moldy food, it was something I did wrong. Next time just say you can't exchange it. I've had similar experiences at this store or I would have thought it was an isolated incident and let it go. Would recommend Ralph's or Sprouts over this place.

Remember when WHOLE FOODS was "WHOLE FOODS"? When it was an adventure? When you looked forward to their hot food selections and the fresh fruit and vegetables? Now it's drab, dark, and boring. The employees definitely do not follow sanitation code. The prepared food is either overcooked or undone. Brands come and go. Every fruit I buy rots within days of purchasing it. The self checkout makes it so impersonal for the prices. It's just sad.

Always clean, organized, well stocked and great service. Ample amount of parking and variety of groceries to choose from. I don't cost whole foods all the time but, occasionally I would going in to change our groceries style.

I had to step in for a quick trip and decided to spontaneously try their juice bar. The ladies working there were so kind and sweet with their suggestions! I ended up LOVING my green juice. The store is quite clean and tranquil for a weekday morning so I'd love to visit again!

Just got food from the hot bar at breakfast. So expensive for the driest eggs and sausage I've ever tasted. At least the brocolli cheddar quiche had flavor and my smoothie saved the day!

Just went there for my birthday and was excited to have one of my favorite sandwiches. Turns out as they were making it they told me that they ran out of grilled chicken at 2pm and they couldn't accommodate with the premade chicken. So we left. Very disappointing and do not know if I would go back.

I've been wanting to write about Paul for so long. I feel like he started a few months ago (?) and he was green and fresh at the deli and now he's a seasoned pro. But in that training he never lost his enthusiasm. He has an infectious smile and an eager attitude. I hate to say it, but he's the only employee at that store that ever stood out to me. His whole demeanor is like sunshine, like he actually wants to be there and it's not a drag. He's solid gold on the customer service scale.

So sad how customer is these days. 6/25/24 at 3:53pm whomever was at the Amazon counter needs a tutorial in customer service. If you don't like your job quit. So disappointed and disgusted with her behavior. Yuck.

A big chunk of unblended bananas in my strawberry horchata smoothie!:( it was extremely disappointing, especially because I spent $8.50 for this and the banana wasn't blended at all. It didn't really taste good either. I thought it would have a cinnamon flavor to it too and it didn't taste like anything - just strawberry and plant-based milk. I would never get a smoothie for here again

It's not the prettiest but it has a great veggie section, and bakery. Juice bar waa nice to have. I liked finding a cute dreas but could not find band aids or shaver & shaving cream so unfortunately, had to go to another store. Went twice during my stay and it was great for my fresh breads. Yum carbs lol

I admittedly only go to Whole Foods for their prepared foods section. The groceries are either exorbitant or the selection is lacking and in affluent areas the prepare foods are top-notch. Not this Woodland hills location. It's 810 on a Tuesday and you just want a slice of pizza? Well you're in luck there's one that's been under the heat for 90 minutes cheese burnt to a crisp. Do you want a breakfast burrito? they're available at 8:50 on a Monday- other than that you're shit out of luck. Other times check out all the dirty empty trays we have on display. I just worry because this is exactly the kind of neglect I saw before they closed the Tarzana location. Escalator lift for carts, never fixed, and what looked like a goodwill store with metal laundry carts for Amazon returns behind with one person behind a card table.

Ordered salmon and fresh veggie. All were so fresh and crisp and short delivery time was incredible. Feel safe ordering from WF. Always get what I order in great condition.

After a very unhelpful experience with Ignacio at the bakery who didn't want to try and accommodate a simple request of removing the berries from the top of Chantilly cake that is sold here everyday, I had to escalate up to asking for a store manager to assist. I am very pleased with the help of Martin though who kindly was able to make a constant costumer here (me) very happy. Please try harder to make your customers have a great experience always. Coming from a business owner herself, it is very very important and goes a long way! Thank you Martin!

Wow, this is hands down the worst Whole Foods I've ever been to. I usually justify paying their prices because of food quality and excellent service but this store really puts a damper on that. The general atmosphere is just sort of run down. A lot of items are out of stock. The lighting is even kind of dim. That's not to mention the employees who work there. There were a few guys in the produce department who were friendly, but the woman in the bakery who I asked to cut some bread for me was downright rude and then the girls at checkout completely ignored me after I said "good morning" to them. Definitely wouldn't be back!

My husband ordered the chantilly cake online and it was very dry and old. The box also read it's good until tomorrow. Won't be purchasing cakes here ever again.

I've never visited Whole Foods before. The ambiance is extremely hipster, hippie and douchy, but the food and service were amazing. The cashier was so freaking cool and gave great customer service. The prices are a bit too high, but I think that it's worth the prices. I can't wait to run out of the stuff I bought to go back...lol

Their berries have mold, their cherry tomatoes have mold, their Roma tomatoes have mold, you tell someone and they say "ok" then when you come back next week, guess what??? The berries have mold, the cherry tomatoes have mold... They open at 7am, yet at 9am their butcher shop has no meat out, the fish is just barely getting out out. Their deli is the worst ever, you stand there. Someone is taking food out of the heater or steamer, and there are people prepping sushi, wait another few minutes and no one acknowledges you, no "we'll be right with you" they just keep about their task. Finally after waiting a few minutes I ask the sushi people if they could get someone from the deli and wouldn't you know!!!! They turn to the guy prepping the food, the same guy who saw me walk up, and they ask if he can help. Worst Whole Foods market I've been too. I'll drive out of my way and go to porter ranch from now on just to avoid this horrible location

Since the Tarzana location closed down, I've been frequenting this place. Their produce is always fresh and rarely out of stock on the items o buy often. They also have an Amazon return counter, which is convenient. It's conveniently located by the freeway, so access to and from is super easy, plus it's right off of Ventura Blvd. The parking lot gets pretty crowded, so lately I've been doing pick up orders. I do wish the parking spots for pick up orders were on the other side of the building though and not in the main aisles. It's hard to back out because people exiting get backed up in line waiting for traffic to clear.

I totally recommend this branch. Jess at the juice bar was very kind and helpful. Love their juices.

Amir - was extremely rude. I do my shopping at this WholeFoods every week. He was unhelpful and has terrible customer service.

During this pandemic , one very special employee stands out among all others. Wendy in the Amazon Prime department is exceptional. Her willingness to help and her customer service skills are head and shoulders above the rest. So grateful to you for curbside pick up and for hiring such an exemplary employee. How I long to be able to shop within your walls again. Until then, thank you for this most dedicated and compassionate employee.

Overall the store is fine. Things are clean and organized and well stocked. My only issue is the attitude overall with the employees, particularly in the bakery and deli section. They seem to be constantly under staffed and when you manage to get service it's with a surly attitude and sour faced expressions. I would like to just grab my rolls or loaf of sourdough without having to deal with them but I can't because they keep it all behind the counter. I think the hot food is overpriced. For what it costs I might as well go to a restaurant.

Vegan pizza is very good! Really cannot tell the difference; it tastes like a normal pizza. At other pizza places when they do vegan cheese it just tastes literally like vegan cheese. Not sure what they do that makes the taste of vegan cheese go away, but I love it! Perfect for those who are lactose intolerant! You can do a more custom vegan pizza pie for yourself for around $13 or you can do by the slice (huge slices) for $4. And for the by the slice, it's self serve!!!!! This is great for introverts like me who try to minimize any human contact of course. Overall super happy I found a good dairy free pizza. Thank you Whole Foods!!!!!

I purchased this corn at 2pm, put it in my fridge 15 minutes later, and opened it up at 5pm for a bbq at my house. Entirely disgusting!

Highway Robbery, f#$K this is more like a carjacking. Whole Foods, do you REALLY have to charge DOUBLE the price of other markets? WTF The only reason why I gave this place to stars as because they do have a decent parking lot which is free oh, and every once in awhile you find some healthy hang in there like a smoothie or something. But God damn they are expensive!
