Whole Foods Market

Any Whole Foods Market is a wholesome grocery place where you get anything that’s edible from A-Z and this place falls on the same line as its peers. Parking is a breeze unless you are here on a weekend which might make it tight but you will still find your spot. They offer anything under the umbrella - floral, produce, water refill, meat, bakery, freshly prepared food and even an Amazon Return counter which makes it very convenient for return drop offs. The place is ambient, produce is fresh at all times, checkout including self checkout are smooth and the customer service is impeccable. Amazon Prime members get discounted price with a QR code from the app. Now coming to why I would rate this place a star less- I mostly frequent this place for the water refills and there have been instances when the lines are long due to a spout issue where the water would stream thin or the water service being totally unavailable due to mechanical issues with the system. This is a common problem with the Bridgewater location too and I hope Whole Foods brings about a change to either make it available at all times or bring in some form of notification system for signed up customers.

BEWARE!!! I got Guacamole from this store. I would have ended up in ER. Had I swallowed it. There was a metal string found in the Guacamole. I had brought this up to the leadership team and the person said batch of avocados might have the metal string. I’m sorry we will investigate. Very careless of whole foods. Please be aware everyone!

VERY DISSATISFIED. Two employees here. One is named ETHEN (ethnic) and the other is names JESSY ( black female)They lied to my about there names and they hung up the phone on me when I was calling in for help. I was working so I sent a friend over there to return an item. They told me there was no receipts 🧾 for this return. We will email it. I never got an email. Or verification oF proof of return. My situation is still unresolved. Please don’t let these people with no character get away with the dishonesty and disrespect. I’m waiting on Whole Foods to contact me and resolve my issue with these dishonest people and the first resin for me there was a return.

The store was fairly easy to get to via Google Maps. Staff was very helpful. The inventory was excellent, with one exception. They were completely out of cacao powder, due to it being a popular time of the year for baking. I would return to this store in the future.

What is going on at this Whole Foods? During the day-time it is a 5 star Gem 💎💎💎💎💎 But at night is a disaster!!! 🤮 This vomit has been there for 3 days now and I accidentally stepped in it! Can’t you clean it?! Not to Mention- you close at 9 PM but there’s absolutely No food for us to dine in at at the salad/hot buffet or any pizza around 8:15! Not ONE tray of food! Absolutely Gross

Whole Foods is a solid place to shop if you’re looking for high-quality produce, fresh meats, and specialty items you can’t always find at regular grocery stores. The store is clean, well-organized, and usually has friendly staff. That said, prices are definitely on the higher side, and some everyday items can feel overpriced compared to other supermarkets. Still, if you’re after organic options, a great prepared food section, and unique products, it’s a good choice.

My home away from home! Love the quality of the produce! Such great array of healthy food products that spice up any nutrition plan! It’s great and very affordable if you’re on a whole foods plant based diet- from the beans, to the plant milks, to the oats, rice cakes, etc. Extra Extra Extra Bonus to the hot bar and prepared food section- best is their paleo grilled salmon, their paleo broccoli, and their green beans with crushed red peppers and broccoli.

This location is always so clean and seems very welcoming when coming in. We don't typically buy food at Whole Foods, but sometimes we will stop by and pick some things up especially when returning Amazon packages. My favorite has to be the cheese and deli section in the back, the staff are always very willing to let me try the cheese samples prior to buying them. I love how they have the Amazon return service here, it is efficient and easy to return Amazon packages with them. The machine is also very easy to use due to their step by step instructions.

By far the best whole foods! Unlike Brooklyn location this location is filled with helpful employees who dont look like they want to off themselves. Plus big clean beautifully set up , perfect amazon drop off, and all around amazing experience. One question is there any outdoor seating to eat the hot bar at?

Store is not well stocked, spoiled food, produce is not fresh and doesn't last more than 2 days, bad customer service.

Ate at their Mexican restaurant Comida Fresca for the first time today. The menu is very limited, but perfect to grab a snack before or after shopping, I guess. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken tacos, which were just okay. Eating the breading on the chicken felt like eating sand, though - not normal texture or crunch for chicken. Other than this, service was quick, friendly and easy. The meal was more like 2.5 stars, but the overall 4 rating is for the store in general. While I will likely not eat at Comida Fresco again, I like the variety of options in the store despite super high prices. And the produce section is on point.

As you can see from my 90 check ins, I love this Whole Foods. I get lunch here at least once a week, sometimes twice, sometimes lunch and dinner in the same day. I could probably eat every meal here every day and never get tired of it. The hot buffet is fantastic. The salad bar is excellent. The desserts are incredible. I will think of every superlative I know to describe this store. Additionally, I drive a hybrid vehicle, which means I get to park in that special "fuel efficient vehicles" parking space right by the door. I like how the store smells like fresh produce and clean air. It is always clean, but never smells like chemicals. Staff working here really does a great job, keeping everything stocked, answering questions, and keeping the lines moving.

I find Whole Foods kind of a "crunchy" place but also makes you feel like it's all good for you. I usually just grab quick salads or in this case an ice tea. Their restrooms are also clean and convenient....

Worst produce. Period haven't been in a while because of it, today I had little choice but going and it's worse than ever. Embarrassing... how could they sell such poor produce and who the heck buys it? So disappointing... Whole Foods is no longer "whole"!

I really like the layout of this whole foods. The aisles are wider than Clark, and they have a good assortment of options in the meat and cheese section. They don't offer self check out though. If this store was closer, I would be a regular.

Well, Winnie can in to return a package and I was looking for some tea. They have some many tea's that I was glad I came into the store with her. I hope these four taste great. The staff was nice and pleasant, and the cashier at check out was very funny. The store was nice, quiet, and clean. Next time, I want to purchase some different seasonings that I have never used before. I gave 3 stars because we just came in to return, and I purchased some tea's... we didn't purchase food or anything like that. We was in and out.

Has everything you need. A expansive hot food bar, meat butcher, organic fruits & veggies. Some of the breads and cheeses are a bit pricey. The fruits can get pricey too because the cashier will ring up the wrong type of apple. This has happened to me on more than 4 occasions. Check your receipt/ register screen when you are checking out. Make sure you get charged correctly. They also have Amazon package return section as well. Didn't use the service so can't comment on it. Would rate this location higher if they ring you up correctly.

I went there with high hopes for the cafe and was very disappointed when my "nutty monkey " smoothie tasted more like monkey nut.

Not real comfortable with the 'Order Pickers ' there. They tend to act like I'm in their way. I'm the Damn customer. Their Fish Counter has a couple of 'less than friendly' staff , also doing you a favor, by serving you. They're not the Store they used to be, before Bezos took over. I've been a WF shopper for years, and was really happy one was opening so close, but I rarely go there anymore. The produce has been shabby. They're quite overpriced, as well . Not a friendly store. Even at checkout, not many of them are friendly.

The selection is great, especially since there really isn't a Whole Foods Market for miles. I like to come here for specialty items or organic, whole grain, and vegan selections that are hard to find in my regular grocery stores. I think my favorite parts of the store are the fresh/prepared foods and the bulk foods. You can get pasta and grains in the bulk food section which is nice. The staff is friendly and efficient, the store is clean and organized. The only downfall, and this is with Whole Foods in general, is the crazy pricing on some things. You can get a great deal on a fresh fruit platter, but other items are marked up well above the prices you'd find at Wegmans, Stop and Shop and Shop Rite. It just seems like nonsense to have prices marked up so high. 4.5/5

This place is so awesome ... 5 star review ... I normally don't give 5 stars , unless it js perfect in all aspects. Parking is perfect. Lots of parking spots. Bakery is perfect.. vegetables are awesome ... coffee shop is so good. Cheese, olives , cold products , salad - u name it and u get it . Such an awesomeeee shop ..

I really love this place, especially when I'm looking for something healthy. I already have the expectation that things are pricey, so I'm not too shook about the prices. There are many options for lunch, so I'm able to come back constantly and never get bored. I usually go for the Black Tap Stir Fry. You can choose the type of protein, noodles/rice, sauce, and the type/amount of fresh veggies. I love my spice so I go for Korean BBQ and add sriracha at the end. My complaint about this, however, is that they do not update their order sheets, so if they have removed or added an ingredient, you will not know until you hand in your order and you're told to choose something else. It's annoying that this problem has persisted for weeks or months. Other than that, I find it tasty and I like trying all the options! There are also an array of hot food options and salad bar options. They have different soups available and they also have different entrees in the hot food buffet. I've enjoyed the different seasoned meats and I'm a fan of their three-cheese macaroni and cheese. I also really like their pokebowls, as the fish always has tasted fresh and I think there's a sufficient amount of it. I have yet to try the sushi, but I am excited to try that too! I find the Coffee Bar decent, but I don't understand why the prices are as high as those from Starbucks. I do appreciate their seasonal special drinks and free samples from time to time. I also enjoy their smoothies and am willing to splurge on them as a quick way to get my serving of fruits or veggies in. The regular coffee is okay, but I'll stick to the free Coffee Bar at work. Overall, as long as you come in with the expectations that prices are high, you can find numerous options for lunch! As for groceries, I think ShopRite is better price wise.

I am definitely a fan of this Whole Foods! Like the few Whole Foods I've been to in New Jersey this location is super neat and organized. You will not find anything out of place here. Of course its also super clean and well lit. I noticed the store was loaded with employees which is nice to see because I did need help finding a few things since this was my first visit. I like Whole Foods in general because this is the only place where I could get ALL of my organic/specialty grocery items without having to go to a second store. Is it cheap? No, but the quality of products sold here are unmatched anywhere. Thats my general take on most Whole Foods.

Whole Foods needs no explanation. I regularly shop at Whole Foods and find their products great in quality. They have all sorts of products from organic dairy to meat, from fresh produce to breads and snacks, frozen vegetables and sweets. The quantity of products available here will blow you away. Whole Foods have everything in their arsenal but, with that being said, it comes with a price. Let me explain. Whole Foods is know for their quality of products and also known to be very expensive. Both those statements are somewhat true. If you shop at Whole Foods regularly, you wouldn't mind paying the extra premium knowing that the produce or dairy or the meat that you get would be great. But, if you compare the prices of some of their competitors, you'd be amazed at the difference in their prices. That being said, the brand 365, is their in-house brand, is very reasonable and offers some of most fantastic organic products with a decent price. Whole Foods also have local products in their inventory which is a great addition and helps local farmers and product sellers integrate with the Whole Foods brand. Whole Foods has a variety of clean products as I mentioned earlier and by clean I meant by their ingredients list. If you're looking for anything fancy with clean or organic ingredients and you're that type of a shopper who checks every ingredient that goes into one, this place would be heavenly for you. If you like organic products and don't mind paying the extra buck then there is nothing stopping me from recommending this place to you. But, if you're an average joe who wants to dip their toe into the organic family, I'd start off with their 365 brand first and test the water. I'm not saying you won't find other competitors products here in the shelves but, you'd need to compare the prices again and look at the ingredients and stuff and then decide according to your budget and needs. There are also non organic products available here so don't associate Whole Foods to be just organic store. I'd recommend to check this store out or, any of their stores for that matter, and make your judgment after you shop and experience the Whole Foods family.

It's now July 2023. I live in town, so I am a frequent shopper at the Metuchen location. Last fall (2022) I visited the Princeton store and was blown away by the much larger size of the store, the wider variety of products, and their produce dept (freshness of produce + appearance of fresh veggie displays). I would rate the Metuchen fresh produce dept as barely 2 and the Princeton store produce dept as 5. Service at Metuchen rates 3, while Princeton earns 4. Ambiance at Metuchen is 3 while Princeton earns 5. The lack of cashier knowledge regarding produce pricing is still problematic. I have been charged - more than once - for higher priced "organic" veggies (lettuce, peppers) when I had the non-organic versions. I would like to recommend the bar code label system that Wegmans utilizes in their stores. Also, I have been frequently disappointed in not being able to purchase the basic items that I frequently purchase - celery WITH leaves, dill, multi-colored carrots WITH greens, and green bell peppers. I also would like to purchase fresh snow peas but I have never seen them in any supermarket.

Review is only for order pickups! I have yet to step inside of this Whole Foods but from outside it's beautiful! Looks bright, clean and well organized. My order pickups have been smooth, timely and everything well packaged. Plan to go in myself very soon. This location had a coffee bar, Mexican food area and pizza bar. Nice setup

While single-handedly causing apocalyptic traffic jams within a 2-mile radius, Metuchen's newest (and only) supermarket finally opened its doors on October 11. Local residents received coupons in the mail for $-off discounts on purchases of $50, $75, and $100. Prior to opening day, shoppers were also able to register on the Whole Foods Market Metuchen Eventbrite page to win a Healthy Pantry Makeover valued at $250. At 45,000 square feet, Metuchen's latest hipster magnet is actually slightly larger than the 41,000 sq. ft. Clark location, but it feels just as crowded. Having narrow aisles has allowed the store to shoehorn in all of your Whole Foods favorites, including non-GMO cake frosting, artisanal cheeses, organic kombucha, gluten-free chicken nuggets, kale ice cream, pre-packaged sushi burritos, and yoga clothing made from water bottles. I'm not a Whole Foods devotee, so my first impression of the store was only lukewarm, which is what the inside of the store feels like on a Sunday afternoon in October. Seriously, the store barely has any air conditioning--maybe in order to simulate an actual outdoor market or maybe to accommodate elderly locals who have a lower tolerance for cold temperatures. In any case, the air inside the store was noticeably humid and smelled vaguely of sea salt and snobbery. For better or worse, a lot of the employees here are fairly fresh-faced, and are even less familiar with the Whole Foods brand than some customers are. For example, an oblivious store employee confirmed over the phone that he had never heard of the Meatless Mondays promotion (meat-free AYCE for $8 from hot bar, salad bar, or platter bar on Mondays from 4-7 PM) that all of the Whole Foods stores I've been to seem to have. Still, I suppose there are other reasons to like this store: -The seated dining area behind coffee bar has benches, tables, small quilted bean bag chairs, and a play area for children. -The attached Tex-Mex Comida Fresca has both indoor and outdoor patio seating. -Payments methods accepted at checkout include NFC mobile wallets such as Apple and Android Pay. -Four single-occupancy, gender neutral restrooms can be found in the alcove to the left of the full-service butcher station. In case you can't make up your mind between wasting paper or wasting electricity, the restrooms provide both electric dryers AND automated paper towel dispensers. So whether you enjoy paying $10/lb. at the salad bar or a 260% markup on rotisserie chicken, you'll surely find something to squander 1/3 of your paycheck on the next time you visit.

I ordered my daughter's first birthday cake from here for today's party. I spoke to Bobbie or Robbie in person and put in writing that we wanted cream cheese frosting and fresh flowers. I also spoke to the cake decorator this week and we agreed to fresh roses. The cake we got had neither fresh flowers or cream cheese frosting. I called and spoke to the bakery and they said they'd have customer service return my call which never happened. This was obviously a special occasion and I was sorely disappointed after anticipating that we would get Whole Foods quality from a Whole Foods cake. I would neither order from here again nor would I recommend their bakery again.

This Whole Foods falls in the middle of the route that I drive to go to H-Mart in Edison. However, I had not been this way in over a year, so when passing this section I was very surprised by all the new businesses and residential structures that had gone up since my last pass through! Among them is this Whole Foods, which has been open well over a year as I write this, but it was brand new to me. This Whole Foods is an average sized example of the chain with a Tex Mex restaurant section connected to the side. The store is very clean, with plenty of aisle space and all the requisite sections including a seafood section, produce, bakery and cooked food area. To anyone who has been to Whole Foods before, there are no real surprises here but that is not a bad thing. They do what you expect of a Whole Foods and they do it well. For the most part, the store was well stocked. I did not see many items out of stock. The few that I did see were rather specific. For instance, the dried Paleo mango slices were out of stock (but to be fair, they're *always* out of stock at every Whole Foods I have gone to in New Jersey). The other item that was out of stock were the honey roasted peanuts used for grinding into peanut butter. These too always sell out faster than the regular peanuts. Each staff member I encountered was very nice and willing to be helpful. It was already the evening by that time so I was grateful to see their attitude carried over into the latter parts of their shifts. I would definitely come back to this branch. It is not too far from where I live and I appreciated how nicely it was kept. It is also cool to see businesses being developed as housing goes up in the area.

COVID-19 REVIEW, meaning evaluated through my stay-at-home experience, ordering groceries online and having them delivered by Whole Foods. Prior to the pandemic I only used Whole Foods occasionally, but what I have found the last 10 months is that they can be trusted to supply *consistently* high quality foods, at fair prices. They have *great* frozen seafood, specifically their frozen Farm Raised Atlantic Salmon, and their frozen deveined de-shelled shrimp. Their produce is always excellent, and their store-baked breads are to die for. They are so good that I will continue to shop with them after the pandemic ends.

I had been going to Whole Foods occasionally, but I have been shopping there more often. I truly love this store. I have a delivery once or twice a week and that is an enormous convenience. The quality of the meat is just superb and their 365 brand of many many items is top notch. They have really become my go to store. I am a very careful eater and can always find something there that I can count on to be of fine quality and delicious taste. Very glad that this store is there!!

Love that it's clean, spacious, very organized and that there is ample seating to sit and enjoy a meal from their hot foods section, or a salad, or a beverage from their cafe stand. You can find almost anything, and they lay things out so you can find what you're looking for easily, whether a cheese section, fish, a butcher, fruits/veggies, dried goods, soups/sauces, bottled beverages, fresh bagels/muffins, bakery, salad bar, packaged sandwiches, salads, wraps, pizza pies, coffee beans, a huge selection of teas, Kitchen supplies. Literally something for everyone. I will say the Bakery looked unappealing. Not the bread loaves or bagels-- those looked hearty and fresh The baked treats, like cupcakes and cakes looked so old, stale, and dry. I'm not entirely sure they bake everything fresh daily in the morning. Fresh frosting should have some sheen to it, but these desserts looked like cheap things at a mini mart. Probably not up to par with what they are charging. It's very expensive and a lot of the brands/foods can be found in regular supermarkets for a lot cheaper, especially when those supermarkets have sales. For my favorite frozen mac/cheese -- Evol truffle mac and cheese, it was $5-6 here but at Shoprite on sale, you can pay as low as $1.99- $2.50. I believe full priced is still around $4.50. Not super cheap either but still some savings. So shopping here is fun everything looks so fresh -- they definitely know customers eat with their eyes -- but be prepared to pay high prices simply because it's Whole Foods, not because they sell items you can't find anywhere else or the quality is necessarily better. Guaranteed, some of their items are probably unique, but grocery stores have been stepping up their game recently with dairy free, vegan, or gluten free options. Just saying! Regardless, I was glad I tried the location out. If they had an amazing sale or coupons, or they were the ONLY place that sold a specialty item, I would come back. But I think I could find better deals elsewhere.

We usually venture out to the Whole Foods on 3rd Ave and 3rd St in Brooklyn. We decided to make a shorter trip and try Metuchen. We're in love! Same great products at same crazy prices. $18.99 for an Organic Nut Butter, great selection of fruit and vegetables at break-the-bank prices, specially aged beef at highway robbery in the Butcher Block, and awesome homemade, ready-to-eat breads, cakes, food, oh my. The store is huge, clean, extremely friendly and totally liberal, except for the prices - totally right-wing. Great for shopping and/or eating on the spot. Food and products are fresh and they have great options: bakery, pizzeria, sushi, Mexican - everything organic with the most delicious and expensive ingredients. The perfect place for healthy living and going broke.

I work near Metuchen so I was excited to see a WFM being built. When it opened, I went to the salad bar for lunch and found a great dish, Basalmic Beef. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it there since. They also offer cashews and dried cranberries as salad toppings but sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. At $8.99 per pound, I'm not going to buy kale and macaroni. Since they didn't put a mat down at the front door on a rainy day, I slipped and fell coming into the store. Told the first employee I saw and they quickly found a mat. Cashiers? Two. For the whole store. At lunch time. Sometimes, there's just one. DVDs at the register for impulse buying. Too bad there were no prices. Details, fellas, details! I can see four other places to eat lunch from the parking lot of Whole Foods. You'd think they'd pay a little more attention. Guess it's not a priority. Gave them more than a few tries but I don't think I'll be wasting my time there any more.

Standard overpriced WF with added surliness. Checkout person didn't ask if i needed a bag (was traveling) and when i said i needed one she sneered at me and shrugged.

Heaven sent for north Edison and Metuchen and Woodbridge area. This place is a no brainer for organic and whole grain foods. Ever since they were bought out by amazon the deals for amazon prime customers is insane. Their prices are always better than shop rite for all organic products and almost all health food. Even ice cream is cheaper - full retail - in Whole Foods compared to shop rite for all premium brands like Ben and Jerry etc. when on sale the price is less than half at Whole Foods. Their 365 brand both organic and non-gmo provide insane value. No reason to go to Walmart for traditional pantry. Even if doing service for soup kitchen we choose Whole Foods. Their deli bar and fresh breads has amazing variety for organic and whole grain and the usual white bread type - baked fresh daily. What could they improve - check out can be faster. Otherwise helpers / workers are super friendly and helpful

Finally a Whole Foods market has arrived in the area! I was excited to venture in and take a look at what the store has to offer. First of all...Holy expensive everything, Batman! There were so many overpriced items in this store I almost couldn't believe it. But then I reminded myself that this is Whole Foods and almost everything here will be marked up. The store is decently sized and has so much to offer. You can do your typical grocery shopping, but they have so much more. There are beautiful fresh flowers and a make your own arrangement area. They have a candy station featuring Dylan's candy bar. They also have a fancy looking butcher station with a variety of meats to choose from. Some standouts are the coffee bar which is great! My friend ordered a cortado and said it was very good. Then there's a small self serve Mochi freezer which has a big variety of flavors. They also have a Mexican restaurant on site which seems to specialize in tacos. It was very overpriced so prepare yourself if you plan on eating here. I do believe they serve alcohol as well. In all, this supermarket is a nice little addition to Metuchen. If you can get past this sky high prices, then I would recommend stopping by.

I've noticed a few time when I order Amazon prime delivery from this location they always give almost expired food. In the past it would just be one or two items, but yesterday 8/8/21 they gave almost everything bad. The green grapes were brown, grape juice all over the bag. Then the muffin top was made 8/4 good till 8/9. So I guess it would went to garbage if they didn't sell it to me. Then the white bread good thru 8/10. Seriously? Oh I froglet the $13 marcadamia I paid is all brown, like burnt old oil taste. So beware if you order delivery.

Finally had a chance to checkout this market after the long awaited wait! I was surprised that the prices are actually much lower then they use to be before Amazon bought them. You can actually buy whole veggies here and not be completely broke. This is my go to place for Organic eggs, Organic mik, and Wild Fish. There are tons of great options to choose from: cut veggies, fresh guacamole, fresh seafood, meats and much more. My favorite section is the hot food!! I love trying their hot soups, fresh made pizzas, and variety of hot food options. This is so convenient for picking up dinner while grabbing groceries. They also have a coffee bar with delicious drinks to choose from. And I was also excited about the Mexican restaurant with the beautiful decor and string lights. I'm going to try this next time since I picked up some Clam Chowder which is one of my favorites here!

This store has gone down hill since it first opened. I use to go and pick up lunch or dinner 3 or 4 times a week from their hot bar. They would have at least one beef, one chicken and one fish entree. Now they have one chicken in lemon and butter sauce and that's it! One mixed vegetable, asparagus and mashed potatoes. One tofu and Mac and cheese. These are not healthy choices. This is not an isolated incident. I have been there at least five times and left without buying anything but fruit. When I asked about this I was told they have a set menu they have to follow. Well I will take my money somewhere else.

I love coming in here to use the wifi. It's a peaceful, bright space with good air circulation and pleasant smells. I don't always love working from home-at home- and I don't always want to smell like a French press from sitting in a coffee shop all day. It's also a great compromise when I feel coerced into eating somewhere other than home. (I don't like restaurants much these days.) My friends can get pizza, sushi or a sandwich, while I can live out all of my food issues and still find some organic, free-range, grass-fed coconut or a pint of non-dairy desert that costs $10-without violating that unspoken rule of taking food from one establishment into another. Basically, if you have a friend like me, who only eats about six things, stop trying to find a restaurant you'll both enjoy, because that will never happen. Take them here instead. They have a very honest, hardworking team of employees. Management went the extra mile when I had misplaced something in the store in June. Produce is surprisingly affordable, seafood prices beat Wegman's, and there are great incentives for Amazon Prime members. I really like Whole Foods. Maybe too much.

First, let me say that the Butcher and Bread/Bakery sections are awesome and would earn a 5. However, the remainder of the store is only fair. The Produce section is at best a 2, as the quality is far below Wegman's and not even on par with ShopRite. Countless times the lettuce refrigerated section is bare. The peppers are very rarely fresh and many times there are no cucumbers. How can that happen? The prepared salad bar is also extremely poor and inconsistent, 2 at best. I cannot tell how many times I've waited at the Deli counter, not due to a line, but there was no one working the Deli area. We wanted to love this store, as we have had awesome experiences with all other Whole Foods. This one appears to be the runt of the litter. We are now heading back to Wegman's for all produce.

Love Whole Foods this one was big Compared to the one I go to. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Needed helping looking for a cheese and one of the gentlemen at the counter took me right where I needed to find it and explained the way it's made and taste I was blown away by that. My only complaint is prices are so high even with the amazon acquisition. But it's the only place to get some specialty foods for my dietary needs. I like that do have sales for amazon prime members but just wish it was a little more spent $150 on maybe 10-12 items (no meat or fish) and still was quite expensive

I stopped going here after a few awful experiences. But my husband sometimes stops in after work. On more than five occasions, I have personally saw expired dates on items. My husband not looking brought expired hummus home as well as cheese that was spoiled! Thankfully, he won't be going here again! I've reached out to management and corporate very politely numerous times and the store manager was supposed to get back to me and never did. It's really a shame! Please, for other people, get your act together. 7/14/18: Contacted customer service like I was told to three times now with my phone number and name for the store manager to call me back and guess what? No reply!

$8.00 Pizza Friday??? I went in at 2:00 for a cheese pizza. The chef said no because it would take 35 minutes. 35? I told him I wanted it. I came back at 2:23 and saw no pizza in oven. The pizza staff watched me for a couple of minutes then came over and asked for my order. I said cheese pizza...another worker said it might be in the back, and, indeed, he came back in a few minutes and gave me a pizza. When I got home, I discovered a cold ugly old gross pizza. I didn't even heat up a slice as it might nave been pre-covid vintage. I decided to contact Whole foods, and the chat associate said if I had a receipt, I'd get a refund. I wrote more, but Angellic had, basically hung up on my. They have some effing nerve to call this "Westport Pizza" which was a wonderful place. Maybe Bezos needs to pay for his rocket.

The market is a great addition to the downtown Metuchen area but the 2 stars is for their prepared food. I've been severely disappointed. It's so greasy and bland. I've had other dinners at different locations and they were better. I can't justify spending 20 bucks on food that hasn't been cooked with care. I do like their Whole Body section and the folks in the fish and meat department are very helpful and friendly.

My favorite local food store with great choices of fresh fruits, vegetables, ready meals and other products and also tables to eat outside!

I'm glad to know there's a Whole Foods here now, the layout is great, it's about the size of the Whole Foods in Montclair but not as big as Princeton, it's a nice facility but they lack that "Whole Foods" customer service. Once they get the staff up to speed and it has that helpful community experience, they will be good. My experience, the walkway / entry area was not shoveled or salted, very slippery outside. Once inside the staff at different locations seemed very preoccupied with their own interest (non customer related)... the cashier I ended with was polite. This location will be better once the customer service is up to speed.

After waiting almost 2 years, we were really happy to have Whole Foods close to home. Sadly, this store has not lived up to the standards of other Whole Foods Stores where I shop. The packaged bakery items are always stale and they have suddenly started running out of certain kinds of fresh bread daily. I almost refuse to buy croissants in the containers. The food bar looks sad, stale and unappetizing. Wish they would keep a closer eye on the food so it is kept fresh and moving. The selection of package meat is very limited and sometimes no one is available to assist you. I will say, I love the coffee, eggs, milk and other organic items at the store.

Finally a Whole Foods near New Brunswick!!!! I was so excited and anxiously awaiting this for months. The store is very clean, great produce and very organized and spacious. Whole Foods is of course a bit pricey, but the grocery stores in the area are really disappointing, so this has been such a blessing to have a Whole Foods nearby. It's not as large as the Princeton Whole Foods, so sometimes there are items that they don't carry, but it's been amazing having a Whole Foods down the street. Great meat department, produce, and the prepared food section is pretty decent. The staff at this location are SO FRIENDLY and NICE. Better than Whole Foods Princeton. I just always feel happy when I go in this Whole Foods, even if I did spend a lot.

Typical Whole Foods set up. They have lockers in the front for Amazon pickup. The Whole Foods does the 2-hour delivery through Amazon. They have parking in front for fuel-efficient cars. I always chuckle when I see an entitled, bougie asshole park their humongous SUV in the fuel-efficient parking. Lol, what dickheads. I must note that there is always ample parking at this Whole Foods. The lot is huge!

Very negative vibes here. I'll drive 30 minutes out of my way to shop at Trader Joe's instead, where people are happy to be there.

I noticed the people who work here are always happy to help me compared to other supermarkets. I've even observed and overheard them helping other customers and they are also treated with kindness. This location seems to have more things in stock compared to Marlboro. Although I did notice both this location and Marlboro are out of organic ginger but that makes sense during these times since it's excellent on the immune system.

They have amazing staff especially in the meat section and in the aisles organizing, they're always willing to answer a question with a smile

Way too Over priced Local Folks at deli at the meat section were talking on topics currently for five minutes and not attending to the customers. However there was a nice person who came forward and helped me out today to get what I needed. People who are interested in working here should get a job, because I think it is a good store. Because of poor customer service lately I have reduced my visits here. Hope to see better pricing which is at par with the other super markets and deli better customer service.

Couldn't live without this place! Very clean, love the natural lighting, staff is super nice, & the produce is always top notch. One of my favorite Whole Foods, for sure.
