I come to this market for my weekly grocery shopping. The most important feedback I can give is that the prices at the register and the price tags on the shelf are contradicting for both packaged goods and produce. It happened 4 times in a couple of months already. The customer service lady said that the register has the correct price but the shelf does not have the updated price tag. Today I bought one celery root ($2.99/each on the shelf). I was charged $5.99/pound at the register and I paid $8 for it. Customer serv lady was kind enough to refund me the extra $5 even though the register price was correct but she referred the shelf price. As a result, we cannot know if the shelf prices are updated or not. Therefore. I check every single items on my receipt before I leave the store. I hope the store manager sees this constructive feedback because I love whole foods and its quality. 🍀 Edit: this tomatoes are from my last visit. This location is has the worst quality of produce.

I love their olive bar. I was sad there were no oil cured olives, still a good variety. Great produce section, I found fresh figs! I love how outgoing everyone was. They were busy little bees buzzing about, making sure everyone was finding what what they were looking for. Store appeared nicely clean. Ample parking. Great experience.

As grocery stores go, this one is pretty nice! I went because of the special Friday deals like 12 fresh oysters shocked for $12.99. But was also treated to a lovely jazz trio. If I hadn't promised the oysters at home, I could have stayed awhile and enjoyed!

They also participate with app, Too Good To Go, and their fantastic "Surprise Bags"! We all have a responsibility to contribute in reducing food waste. If you haven't yet found a way to do your part, be sure to check out the app Too Good To Go. Whole Foods does an awesome job in the role they play. I am never let down with the abundance of food in their Surprise Bags, both from the store goodies AND the yummy treats from their Bakery Bags. It's always a delight to pick up a Surprise Bag from Whole Foods Market.

This is a great store, beautiful location. Good sales on various days. The parking lot entrance and exits are very tight and there are a whole lot of aggressive Amazon-return drivers who just want to get in and out. Watch out! (I might suggest that they reserve an entrance /exit into their parking lot, and a section of their parking lot more specifically for just those people. Also, their lunch buffet is great – but for some reason, they still don’t have plates with lids like other locations? So you have to eat out of a box. Very awkward especially with such a really pretty dining area!?

Hello, My wife and I are weekly shoppers at your Overland Park store and while we appreciate the store we have noticed a reoccurring attitude of impatience at our check out when I am bringing up my phone to generate the in store code. Today's experience was unacceptable to me as the employee bagging our groceries literally grabbed at my phone in my hand while I was generating the code trying to tell me how to do what I was already doing. I know how to generate the code and having this employee approach me without me asking and physically trying to take my phone out of my hand to do it for me is completely inappropriate and insulting that someone would try to take my phone out of my hand like I was a child and make unwarranted physical contact with me in the process in an aggressive manner. We spend a good amount of money at this location weekly and to have this bizzare inpatient and aggressive incident happened we feel needs to be made right. (this is the original message I sent their customer service yesterday and nobody has responded to it so hopefully their management team will see my feedback this way)

I am writing this review solely because of Kara in the Floral section. I was shopping for some flowers on the morning of Mother’s Day and she approached me in the most friendly manner and was refreshingly helpful. She immediately upped the prettiness of the flowers I chose by suggesting I pair them with certain inserts and offering to arrange them (I knew Whole Foods has had this service but had never tried it until now). Well, she is so talented!!! And I can tell she cares about the little details!!! And she took her time!!! I wish I took a better picture of my 24$ bouquet (amazing price by the way) as the flowers were not wilted, smelled divine, and looked very expensive. They were so much lovelier than I could have imagined and made my Mom’s day. Kara girl, you gave top notch service and I will be returning for my future floral arrangements.

Yelp
This is a gorgeous Whole foods! I'm always so impressed when I go into Whole foods: the efficiency of design and quality of products - though posh and exclusionary by design - is admirable. This one is particularly HUGE! There's so much to see in there, so much to sample and buy. Honestly it's like 10 different premium stores built into one big box retailer. Parking is nice, but getting into the parking lot could be much better. Don't dare try to egress from Pan Asia - you cannot. There's a single point of entry, and it's in the middle, lined up with the new road directly facing it. It seems Whole Foods has an affinity for making their posh clientele take 6 90 degree turns to get into a parking spot. I don't know why, but it bothers me. The fresh deli and diner options seem more robust and plentiful. The cheese is more. The bread is more. The salad bar is more. The freezer is more. This place is JUST more. Fresh food, seafood and meat feel much larger than any other store, though I don't know if they have extra items relative to the typical Whole foods. Don't forget that if you're a prime member, there are ample discounts all over the place! It's a scan code on the app, just show the register Stan and they'll knock some off. I got two bottles of extra-hot Mike's Honey (Typically $14) For sub $9! I recommend it, though the regular Mike's hot is little more than honey with mild whiffs of hints of spice. $14 for regular honey? Nope! But Ol' Mike said: "You want hot!?! You want the heat? I'll give you all the heat!!! The Extra hot will make you cough. Try it.

Yelp
I'm so impressed by the manager there! His name is Joshua! Amazing quality control, customer support, resolving customer issues Joshua is one of the on hands managers I have ever met. Because of Joshua's dedication to Whole Foods I will be back. He took care of my problem immediately. Amazing customer service. 5*

Yelp
5 stars for bakery! I ordered "Thank You" cupcakes for our vet. The decorator was super sweet, and it was very easy to order over the phone. They did a fabulous job with the cupcakes! As for this new location, I notice that some of the items that were at the previous location, are not at this one. Not sure if temporary? Also, I went today, and they didn't have any of the gluten free bakery items out. They were all frozen. So kinda have to plan ahead if you're planning to pick some up. Would be nice if this location and the Olathe location stocked the same things, as I sometimes have to hit up both locations to finish my grocery list.

Yelp
It's finally happened, the much anticipated new Whole Foods opened its doors in Overland Park, and the fancy grocery store gods are indeed shining their eyes upon the southern KC suburbs with this new build. I've been here a few times now, and below I've outlined the good and the bad, though if you don't want to read more the summary is that it's a Whole Foods and it meets Whole Foods standards. Now for the details: The Good: * This place is massive. So, for folks like me that were a bit salty when the North OP Whole Foods closed and moved to Brookside, you can rest assured that this one is big enough for a full kitchen and all your pre-made food needs, along with any and all other Whole Foods goodies you are on the hunt for. * It has plenty of self check out lines. I'm a big fan of self check out, especially at Whole Foods where I find the service to be hit or miss. * The bakery and pre made food area here is large - which is incredible. The old location was a retrofitted Whole Foods, set up from when they acquired another health food brand. It did the job, but the hot bar suffered. You've got it all here. * The location is great. I'm sure some will disagree but I love having this so close to the asian market so if I need a specialty ingredient it's close by. It's also positioned really close to Costco which makes for an easy two stop run on the weekend. The not so good: * The parking lot is a war zone so get ready to battle it out for a spot. * Like other Whole Foods locations I've had mixed reviews when speaking with employees. Some are friendly, some are not. It's kind of what I expect at a Whole Foods though.

Yelp
This new store offered a great location at 119th & Metcalf, an expanded sales area, a coffee area, sushi, pizza (including pizza by the slice), sandwiches and seating inside and outside on opening day. They also offered a bakery, a meat counter, prepared foods, over 150 craft beers and items from local stores including Yoli Tortilleria, Christopher Elbow and Free State Brewing. I liked the plentiful parking (which was almost overwhelmed on opening day), the extensive produce area and the good selection of organic and other healthy food options. The sales area was clean, bright and new with background music, while the checkout lines moved quickly and efficiently with an express lane and many self-checkout lanes.

Yelp
I unfortunately missed the grand opening here due to being out of town but as soon as I got back, I went. They did a really good job with this location! Very clean and modern look to the store. I liked how all the different departments have signs. At the meat station they have an actual in-house butcher! You can have any meat cut to your preference! (It's the little things like this that excites me!) The seafood station has fresh oysters, east and west coast! They have an oyster special on Fridays for prime members 12 for 12, not sure how long they are running but get in on it while you can. I tried The Moon-dancer and Wianno Oysters, not sure which ones are East or West Coast but they were really good! The Cheese section was very interesting, all types of cheese Ive never heard of or seen. They had a few years old parmesan cheese, that I definitely plan on getting next time I plan on making pasta. The Bakery section was my favorite, Whole Foods has the best strawberry shortcake and cupcakes on earth! On one side of the bakery you can pick the assorted pastries yourself. The salad, soup, buffet and pizza selection presentation was top tier and everything looked SO good. I'll definitely be back soon to pick up some more goodies. Definitely recommend coming here.

Yelp
The newest Wholefoods in KC, located on one of the busiest and booming streets, Metcalf. I visited on their second day opening and boy was it packed! The parking lot was full and people were bustling on a Thursday at 1pm. The aisles were fully stocked, produce meticulously placed, and the baked goods were picture perfect! My favorite amenity are the self-checkout kiosks.

Yelp
I had been very excited to visit this newest whole foods but was sadly disappointed. This one was not any better than the one in Olathe and the one in Kansas City. Furthermore you have to pay an overland park tax in addition to your bill to pay for roads, etc. Just going to visit the other two. This one was nothing to write home about.Furthermore the staff did not seem as friendly as the other two.

Yelp
What a terrible experience. Hope you drive a compact car because the parking spaces are even worse than their old location. Impossible to get in AND then impossible to get out. Handicapped? Good luck. The spaces are on the side, and part of the construction workers space cause who cares if the people with disabilities can shop. Not to mention everyone who isn't handicapped pulling in and being unable to escape the dead end handicapped ghetto without creating an issue for everyone. Then the store is such a disappointment. The bakery section is half the size and completely understaffed. Decided to not even try to get sourdough bread with the ridiculous line. You can't get bread anymore without having to ask a staff member to get it because it is no longer out for guests and they only have a single poor soul working the counter. Just saw pictures from other reviews showing the bread case, which I never saw there. I can't imagine where it was - no staff anywhere to ask. Absolutely horrible shopping experience all around. Can't not recommend more. It's just awful by design and I can't imagine it can be fixed at this point.

Yelp
I recently moved to Blue Springs, Missouri from San Antonio, Texas. When in San Antonio, I shopped at the vineyard Whole Foods Market, frequently, sometimes, because they had fresh food bars and a fresh food counter. Being a single person, the fresh food products are great for me. So moving to Missouri I was looking forward to finding a Whole Foods Market near me. Sorry to say there are none. The closest is the one near UMKC. So a few weeks ago I drove over to that store looking forward to finding some of my favorite fresh food products. That's when things went down hill. They were out of Broccoli Crunch Salad and the soup I wanted. The staff person I talked to didn't seem to care when I inquired about the items. I spent over an hour in the store trying to get acquainted and finding it difficult. I made a couple of other inquiries and again found a less than caring attitude. The store was big and, in my opinion, not well organized. I am disappointed!! I may try again, or try one of the other stores even further away (about a 40 minute plus drive). I will not go back to the UMKC store. The Price Chopper close to my home has been wonderful.

Yelp
I'm leaving a 5 star because I think the store is great and has EXCELLENT selections and MUSIC! Complaints about parking and etc is to be expected, but this store does not deserve a 3.5 already! So, take reviews with a grain of salt and experience it for yourself. That's all that matters and if you had a great experience like me (during week of Thanksgiving I might add), leave 5 stars. Good reviews hardly are posted in general for businesses. Have a bless day!
