Google
This is a nice store with a great selection, especially in the produce section. The store is well stocked and everything looks fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have an Amazon return section, which is convenient. The deli and bread section are great, with a lot of prepared food options. However, the prices are on the higher side which is expected at Whole Foods. Parking is limited with a few spots on the ground level and more parking upstairs. The upper level parking is very tight even for my small Toyota Corolla which makes it tricky to park. Overall it is a good store with quality products and convenient services but parking can be a challenge and prices are a bit high.

Google
My biggest complaint about this store is that it's not closer to downtown. There's so many nice things to choose from, including a huge selection of fresh salads, pizza slices and sandwiches. Lots of different Kombucha to choose from as well.

Google
Amazing Catering at Whole Foods! Ordered two fruit platters and four trays of fruit tarts for a party and they were great. Received compliments for them days after the event. The tarts come in four flavors and all were delicious. The pick up experience was very convenient and the staff were all friendly and helpful. It was easy to order the catering through the Whole Foods section on the Amazon app. Highly recommend!

Google
I usually will stop by to use restroom then purchase 1 or 2 soups with olives, pickled mushrooms and so on. This visit it was too early to get soups (before 10:00am) so I had to buy only olives… Pricy but deserves 5 stars for food quality and cleanness of the store!! Btw: for this trip I was amazed with the cake n sweet side!!!!

Google
I really love Whole Foods. Honestly its one of my favorite places to eat lunch. Gone are the days of legit whole grazing as covid ruined that for everybunny🐰. Also the prices have just skyrocketed across the board for food in every space and every store and whole foods wasn't immune to that. I can barely afford to shop here but I still do. Make it make sense. 4 stars for the outrages price of groceries but if we are being real, its a 5 star establishment imo

Google
Full-service supermarket of healthy foods and products. Well-displayed fresh produce. Great selection of fresh meats, chicken, and seafood. Full bakery with fresh breads and pastries. Extensive selection of cheeses, wines, and beers. Fresh deli sandwiches, pizza, Asian bowls, and sushi. Wide selection of freshly-prepared salads and hot food. Dining tables on the covered outdoor patio. Very helpful, courteous, friendly staff. Well lit, with soothing music. Very enjoyable shopping experience! Amazon shopping and delivery. Prices range from competitive to up to 27% higher than other supermarkets. Convenient parking behind the store and on the rooftop.

Google
My favorite market is Whole Foods and my favorite food bar & desserts in a market is also from Whole Foods. I tried several their desserts, my favorite is the cheesecake, the fruit tart is nice too. Also if you feel lazy and don’t know what to eat, you can always trust their food bar.

Google
Parking is limited and tight. Inside aisles are close together with many people walking in every direction. If you park in the parking on top of the grocery store you have to either walk down a few flights of stairs or go down an elevator. Same thing coming up. Its a bit overestimating but has many great vegan and vegetarian options.

Yelp
I love stopping through here because the organic options never disappoint. Parking isn't difficult to find with how big the lot is. This store feels clean and there's rarely ever trash on the ground. The employees seem happy as well and are helpful when I need help finding items. No complaints except that I wish they could make mangos in season all year round but that's not in their control unfortunately haha

Yelp
Recently installed a brand new car battery and it is generally suggested that I go on a 10-20 minute drive to fully top it off. So I did and chose this Whole Foods as a destination. As soon as I turned right into seventh Avenue, the flow of cars just turned into a stand still as traffic from both directions were obviously trying to enter the parking lot. Luckily, I secured street parking right across. So surprising to find a line of customers inching their way inside. My first thought was "wtf WF! Are you really this busy?!" but as I walked passed them, I realized the procession-like formation were just dissatisfied customers returning their Amazon orders. I'm just here for the gluten-free pizza crust, though...and a carton of Chai Latte. Easy to find amidst an army of Sunday shoppers filling the aisles. Fast self-check out and I was in and out of there in ten minutes. Of course, I won't be back here for just those products since Sprouts have them too - cheaper and parking is plentiful.

Yelp
Where do I start? Parking is a battle. Isles are extremely small and crowded. They should have invested in small carts instead of full size carts. Produce , somehow this Whole Foods receives the worst vegetables I seen in Whole Foods across the state. Fish department has no idea how to clean fish , meat department horrible at cutting custom orders.

Yelp
I get Amazon delivery from this location often, and really appreciate the health consciousness and food quality here. My latest find is the house made Berry Chantilly Cake slice--you can taste the real cream and fresh fruit encased in moist layers of vanilla crumb--definitely will order again for a special occasion. In addition to great organic options across the board, the fresh sesame balls, flap steak, tiramisu cup and wide variety of GTs kombuchs flavors are all go tos for me.

Yelp
Today, I wanted to get some vegetarian lunch and the young woman behind the counter was quite rude and didn't want to be helpful at all.. I was having trouble reading what was available. I asked her for the $12 lunch combo. Two sides and a protein. It cost me $16! Since their cardboard containers are very flimsy I asked her if she would please put some tape on it. She rolled her eyes and I thought omg! When I went to check out I spoke with the manager on the side and reported her. If you're going to drop a lot of money in the store which I did. You certainly don't want rude people helping you. The manager knew who I was talking about. Time for a wake up call.

Yelp
I love this place. If you can't find parking in front, there's plenty more up top. Everything is so good! And the staff are super friendly! Try the bakery or a yummy coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the only Whole Foods in the area. I hope another one opens up cus this one is booked and busy! Parking lot is often chaotic, especially with people returning Amazon items. I come here weekly. Their produce and meats are on point and they have almost everything I need. Many natural and organic options. Don't sleep on their health and beauty section! I love how they have Eczema friendly products. I wish they had Barista Almond Milk and local SD honey. The staff here are very kind and helpful. Especially in the butcher and deli section. I absolutely love their sushi here! I have noticed a few things that make the experience not so great. There's a decline in their offerings: The juice/coffee bar is almost never open and have the most funky hours or they close it and the hours don't match online. Don't rely on this place for fresh coffee and juice. They used to have hot breakfast (the French toast was sooo good)! But they no longer have a breakfast bar and only have packaged items.

Yelp
Solid Whole Foods market in Hillcrest with plenty of vegan options from produce to non-dairy milk and everything you would expect from a Whole Foods market including a decent bulk section which I find is an invaluable resource especially when traveling to take as little or as much as needed. Helpful staff, Ambiance was what Whole Foods is plenty of vegan options and a natural food store similar to a supermarket.
google avatar

Russ S.

Yelp
Other than customers getting in the way of staff, fresh, high-quality food with all of the normal options. Great local faire, and tight parking available, if you have the courage to enter the parking lot of few returns! They also have an outside seating area for dining on healthy snacks outside for those that may have brought a furry friend, or want the beach air. Good stuff!
google avatar

Yelp
Parking is a nightmare, narrow spots and about 6 spots blocked off by shopping carts and yellow tape. It took me 10min to go around before I gave up and parked on the street. I side it's tight, employees are annoyed that you try to shop as they restock shelves, and you need to bag your own groceries after spending over $100. I don't know why I always forget what a disaster it is to shop at this location. I need to stop going there.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
I have been going to this store for years but honestly it just seems to keep declining. The sandwich bar has been closed 3 times in the past couple of weeks and when they are open they seem to run out of their bread selections. They now stock mostly Bread and Cie bread which used to be good years ago but is now very poor and rubbery bread. The prepackaged meals in the plastic containers seem to have shrunk in their portions and no hot soup at all in their hot soup bar for the past 3 days. There also seem to be a lot less options in the salad bar containers and the hot food bar as well.

Susan J.

Yelp
I would never shop at Whole Foods because first of all I'm not rich and secondly they're owned by Amazon which is an evil company. But I had to come here with a friend and I did not enjoy the experience. The stair case from the parking lot to the store smells so insanely disgusting I almost threw up. Also the parking lot is ridiculously busy and the spots are all so small (I drive a convertible, a small car).

Yelp
With my large commercial plate truck that inconveniences other customers when I park in the parking lot, I decided to park in the alley way. Scolded.... Yes scolded by Elda, Whole Foods Employee. I avoided her, returned my amazon package (1 min) and went to work at the hospital. I am a nurse. What is wrong with people?!?!?!
google avatar

Esteban M.

Yelp
My girlfriend's car got items stolen from it while we were in the store at 10am in the MORNING, they definitely need cameras in the parking lot!
google avatar

Carli S.

Yelp
If you can avoid shopping here, do it. The staff ringing your groceries up are just plain mean and rude. On this visit (after spending $400) the guy, rung our stuff up did not ask to help to bag, then accidentally threw our receipt away when we needed it, then told us we could get a digital one on Amazon, meanwhile complaining to a manager that he wanted another break. The store smells weird and nasty, is dark and needs a good cleaning. Things aren't stocked well, and the cheese department is sad. All in all, nothing to come here for, and we're happy we won't have to come back again. Peace out whole foods, y'all lost customers for life. Ps. Maybe let your employees know that it's part of the job to be pleasant!

Yelp
While visiting from LA, we needed some breakfast supplies. We stopped by this Whole Foods location for some yogurt and other essentials. Typical Whole Foods fare. Use your Amazon Prime account for discounts. The location had some mentally disturbed, unhoused individuals hanging around. We exited through another door, but having come from LA, we're used to it.

Yelp
First time visiting a Whole Foods ever and it all locations are like this, then well, I might have to become a regular customer! I came here on a Thursday night at 7pm. Service was phenomenal. Every time employee we saw greeted us. Verbally, with a head nod, a wave etc. got the impression that they generally like working here. I'm impressed by how well labeled, tidy, and accessible all the items were. There were a lot of products but didn't feel like they stuffed every available space with things. As I traveled through the store, the smells were very strong and smelled fresh. Great lighting as well. The reason why it lost stars was the parking lot situation. It's one one in, one way out, which is fine but its not labeled greatly and we spent a lot of time waiting for people who came in the wrong way to clear out and it was a lot of confusion and congestion. The other reason it lost a star was for the prices. I think the selection was great and it was a lot of things I've never seen before but you'll pay a pretty penny for them. Some of the items that were recognizable to me were priced a bit high. If the labeling or the parking lot was a bit better, I'd confidently give this a 4 star. But I'll stick with a 3 star.

Yelp
I had a very unpleasant experience at the Amazon drop-off inside Whole Foods Hillcrest on 9/27 around 5:15 pm. An elderly white woman working the station was extremely disrespectful and rude. When I greeted her with "Hello, how are you?" she completely ignored me, struggled with a package, then looked at a receipt and loudly yelled, "Oh my god, are you kidding me?" She continued to ignore me until she was finished. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially at a customer service desk. Amazon and Whole Foods should ensure their drop-off locations are staffed by people who can treat customers with basic respect.

Adler E.

Yelp
The coffee bar is closed about 50% of the time. Don't bother coming here for that. You'll be let down around half the time.

Yelp
Hey! At 7:55pm today I came from Long Beach, doing uber rides, and I noticed no hot food was available besides pizza.. and minor other things... I was disappointed. However I did try some truffle chocolate brownie and was happy so 3 stars for that and the restroom has a code of 1234# lol and the guy said don't tell anyone plz lol but the restroom is dirty
google avatar

Yelp
Worst parking lot ever. People would even make u turns where they're not supposed to because they can't stand waiting around to get in the parking lot. Street parking is available but people would sit in their cars while waiting for for their partners to finish shopping, not only they are not paying the meters but also take up the space for the people who doesn't mind paying to park. My son wanted some desserts so we bought a crème brûlée and eclairs. Took it home and when we open the container of the crème brûlée there was a dead fly floating on the syrup, it was so disgusting. We threw the food away. What a waste of money. The fly had to be been on the crème brûlée for hours just dead floating before we purchased it.

Yelp
The carrot cake cookie is the best!! I bought this for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how flavorful it was

Yelp
I love to give 5-star reviews for the SERVICE at stores, as these days it seems everyone is in a hurry and many times it's easy to just do the required work without really paying attention to the customer. That was NOT the case with "Nancy" as she let me sample numerous cheeses and then came out from the counter to help me find some specific types of raw milk, goat cheese, etc. Yes, the prices are a little higher, however I find that sometimes 'you get what you pay for' and in this case, it's more service with a smile!

Karen O.

Yelp
I wanted to give Alex a shoutout for making the best pizza, and for being kind, friendly and offering a great customer service experience today. Check out the picture to see the amazing pizza he made from scratch. Thank you!
google avatar

Yelp
This store has a big selection of products including a hot food bar, salad bar and olive bar! They have a great selection of baked goods and their presentation is beautiful considering they're from a grocery store. The service is ok. Everyone looks like they're really busy all the time. Parking is not great so be ready to circle around a few times especially if you go around the lunch rush.

Yelp
Dear Amazon Customer Service, I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received while trying to return an item, and I'm extremely disappointed by the interaction with your staff. I had asked nicely in a positive manner if we can return it and his response was very rude and not helpful with trying to provide me with other options. Also, I had asked the Amazon return staff if I could also utilize his tape, he responded "we can't let you use it due to safety issues" which made no sense. Please train your staff properly or upgrade your customer services experience. I understand they are under pressure but I've dealt with customers and try to give back with positive feedback. Please train your staff thank you. P.S. you Whole Foods market is awesome the issue here is the staff that works for Amazon return.

Yelp
Really in shock. My wife ordered a rack of lamb. Took it out tonight to cook it and it was cut up into chops. What a crappy butcher you have there

Yelp
I used to live in La Jolla and frequently went to the Whole Foods there, which I thought was chaotic--until I started coming to this Hillcrest location. Since moving to Hillcrest, I find myself here all the time because it's so close to my home, but I have some mixed feelings. First, the workers are generally sweet, but when they're pushing carts around, it feels like they have zero awareness of people walking through the store. I've lost count of how many times I've almost been hit by a cart. It's not malicious, just frustrating. The biggest issue is the crowd--this Whole Foods is way too small for the number of people shopping here. Unfortunately, some of those people make the experience even worse. I've seen a lot of entitled behavior, like someone blatantly cutting me in line while looking right at me. As a shy Black woman, that was an uncomfortable moment, but thankfully, someone spoke up for me. Lastly, I used to love the hot bar, but after seeing people stick their hands in the food, I just can't do it anymore. Now, more often than not, I bite the bullet and walk to Ralph's instead. I really want to love this Whole Foods because of the convenience, but the shopping experience here is just stressful.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
I am begging whole foods to stop allowing the irritating solicitors/non profit workers to disrupt the experience of shopping at their store. I don't know what those companies pay whole foods to be able to campaign outside, but it's not enough since I will do anything to avoid them, including never coming back.
google avatar

Eryn R.

Yelp
Welp, back again. Came at 12:30 today and over half of the hot bar was empty. I asked about replenishing and was told 30 minutes for more of the chicken and he wasn't sure about the other items. I keep coming back only to be disappointed.
google avatar

Narissa M.

Yelp
Whole Paycheck. Pricey? Yes, but they do have sales and specials every week. Amazon prime members get a 10% discount as well. I avoid the hot/cold bar. Not because of the food, which is very delicious, but because I have seen WAY too many things the customers do in and around this bar. The only time I will purchase from this section is if I am here first thing in the morning or if it is individually wrapped or covered. Parking - Street metered parking, free before 10am and after 8pm, Sundays free, 90-minute free rooftop, more parking next door at Bank of America, posted times, I believe to be Mon-Sat after 6, and Sundays all day. This store has narrow aisles, although packed with products. The staff works hard to keep the shelves filled every day. My current favorite cravings: 365 Corn Chips - better than Fritos, I swear. Chantilly cake - I never get tired of this fluffy, creamy , berry-topped cake. The flowers are a pretty good deal too, always fresh and beautiful. Come here and check out the extensive gluten and dairy-free options. Plus, of course, they have many vegan and vegetarian selections as well.
google avatar

Marcie L.

Yelp
There's a good variety of healthy options, but the food bar is average at best and significantly overpriced. The Amazon return kiosk is frequently offline, and even when I came to make a return at 8:45 AM, it wasn't available because the staff for Amazon returns do not start until 9 AM. While the staff members are friendly, they could use more employees on the floor to assist customers.
google avatar

Denise L.

Yelp
It's kind of a pretty store but the parking lot situation is a nightmare sometimes. Great deals on humanely raised meat, especially steaks even if you have to talk to a troll to get t Update 2024- the parking lot is still tough at best but today I parked on the top for the first time. Surprisingly easy. The produce was looking sexy and it should for the prices which are overall high, but a gorgeous selection. The meat counter is still top notch and reasonable for the quality. I did have a bizarre interaction with a guy at the cheese counter today. I said hello to him and he looked away so I just started with "do you have feta cheese?" He said it's in the case. I said "but that is vegetarian". He says no it is not. He didn't look, or point, nothing. Just "no it's not" Well it says Whole Foods feta cheese VEGETARIAN right on. And that was the only type they had. It was like he just didn't want to talk to me. I'm going to be puzzled about this for a while. Thanks for nothing buddy.
google avatar

Christine R.

Yelp
The parking lot is way too crowded to allow Amazon returns here. It was very uncomfortable trying to stop here for lunch on a Tuesday.

Yelp
High Quality, high Prices, some would say hifalutin! I used to only shop at Whole Foods for desserts, and namely their Toasted Almond cake. The toasted almond cake is literally out of this world good however, they no longer sell it by the slice. Nowadays, I generally only shop at a Whole Foods when I'm looking for some good quality meat. Whole Foods serves as a good medium between a really good butcher like Sepulveda Meats, Iowa Farms, etc, and your average meat purveyor like Albertsons. On this most recent trip I scored some nice top sirloin ~$11.99 lb and some "air chilled" boneless skinless chicken thighs ~$7.49 lb. Although that's a bit pricey, I've really found that using higher quality meats is ultimately more satisfying, and therefore you'll need to eat less of it to feel satiated. Parking in the front parking lot is a mess, but the upstairs parking lot above the store is usually pretty open. Be sure to link your Amazon Prime account to Whole Foods for extra discounts. It really helps chip away at the high prices. The hot food bar is pretty solid if you're hungry. Be sure to check out the fresh baked bread from Bread and Cie in the bakery section! Shouts out to Tony who helped me at the butcher. Great customer service from Tony today. Cheers.

Yelp
I don't go to Whole Foods much but today my trip led me here because of a tik tok trend lol. I picked up some of the tinned smoked mussels and the Craize sweet corn crackers. I skipped the marufuku chili oil but I think they were out of stock. I also picked up some olipop drinks! They were on sale 2 for $4! The lemon lime is my favorite flavor. They have a wide variety of fresh produce, fresh meat, cheeses, and hot foods! One of my favorite thing is picking your own mochi ice creams. They come in many flavors! If there's no parking in the front of the store or street, they have a parking structure with access to the store from the rooftop.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
Parking was a PITA but the store was great! Fresh food and produce, desserts were amazing, the overall layout of the place was very comforting and the service was above board. I don't live in the area so I make trips to go to Whole Foods when I need supplements or other natural organic foods.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Whole Foods' sourdough round loaves. The one in Del Mar is the best since, I believe, they bake them there. The loaves here are clearly 1-2 days old wrapped in plastic. I guess this location is too small for a bakery and it's Just not the same.
google avatar

Yelp
This store is horrible. Crammed and disorganized, prepare to be treated like you're an inconvenience at checkout. Came here for an Amazon return, then ended up picking up a few things. The meat section was so TINY and bizarrely laid out. I could NOT find any basic cuts of chicken. They only had $40 whole chickens in these TINY shelfs 2 ft off the ground. As a tall shopper I'm basically crouched on the floor attempting to figure out where the average 1-2lbs portioned of chicken are and I'm getting swatted by customers and employees with carts bumping into me, so I gave up! So frustrating. To add INSULT TO INJURY I go to check out and while scanning pull up my Prime code on my phone. The cashier is extremely rude and rushes me saying: "the guy behind you is just buying a coffee where's your code?" (as in - you're holding up the line taking forever - which I'm not ) So I say "cool well I'm just pulling up my code one second please." "Also this is a lot to ask to fit in one bag" At that point it's so incredibly uncomfortable and she completely ignores trying to help me and instead says to the guy behind me in this salacious, SAUCY tone.... "trying to get caffeinated??" Sorry to interrupt whatever is going on here but I DONT need any STRAIGHT ROMANCE at the Hillcrest Whole Foods checkout line thank you. Only saving grace was the kind service at the dessert section.

Yelp
I have been coming here since they opened and for many years I would come several times a week to buy prepared food or use their salad bar as I was too busy to plan and cook. Loved everything here and therefore excused the high prices. For the last few years and especially post Covid, I hardly come here at all. The reason is the sometimes the salad bar and ALWAYS the hot bar are often left with many empty slots and the hot food left over is overcooked, crusty and horrible looking. I've decided to include a few photos which pains me but you decide for yourself. These were taken at 5:30--6:00 p.m., on a Friday, still definitely in the dinnertime/after work time when many folks come to shop. I will admit that that's the time I usually shop and that's why I finally am writing this--the hot bar is ALWAYS like this. The few times I"ve asked them to replenish (again, in this 5:50ish window), they were usually out. Once they did bring out a fresh replacement--I was thrilled. By the way, I have seen them rotate food, every 30 minutes, I think, so I wonder how it can look like this. Maybe it depends on who is managing? I hope this gets their attention and is improved. If so, I"ll update my review as I really do want them to do well. You decide.

Yelp
My first experience here at the Whole Foods Market was incredible! The produce, meat department are incredible. It is extremely organized and very easy to find whatever you're looking for. One of the most amazing things was the food court that they have in there, you can get a fresh pizza or fresh Asian cuisine. Plus a plethora of soups and salads and many other goodies! I cannot wait to return!
google avatar

Yelp
Wasted my time coming here for a vegan cake. I was told they no longer make any vegan cakes. You can still get cookies and brownies.

Yelp
As most reviews state , this place is super expensive ! Back in the days when Amazon didn't charge me to deliver some whole foods pastel de tres leches I liked to purchase this cake as I thought it was the best of the best ! I was in the neighborhood and took a shot at entering this establishment! I parked across the street as parking is limited but I found a disproportionate parking spot ! I thought I was good because I paid the meter ! I was in maybe 15 minutes and I got a stupid parking ticket ! Next time even if you see a spot but the people in between are not aligned correctly ! Don't risk it and don't park !! I would never come to whole foods just for that reason. But back to the tres leches ! It's over priced and the slices got way smaller and the cake is just ok ! Not like I remember it !

Yelp
I went to this Whole Foods on university because that is where Amazon told me to go to do a return. I am not gonna lie I came out of the elevator from the 3 floor where the parking was and landed on the first floor looking lost. But Deborah who works at the returns location was like "right here" I love that she knew I was looking for the establishments. She was super friendly and helpful. Niza was super knowledgeable and very accommodating. I'm so grateful for these two women. Thank you for all your help and I will use this place again if I ever need to return something to Amazon.

Yelp
One of my favorite grocery stores! Yes it's expensive and yes I don't care! I love to try new products/items. I feel like they have a very fresh selection and great variety. Especially for vegans/vegetarians. Of which I am not, but I do have vegetarian meals maybe once a week. The store is always clean! Parking isn't always the best but I definitely try to come in the mornings when possible to avoid the crowd. During busy times, it's prob annoying to walk through the store, especially when the workers are also packing up online orders. I love their cookies! Can't leave without getting one or a pack lol. The browned butter chocolate chip is my favorite. The cheese bar and hot meal bar is also great but expensive. I love the selection of artisan waters they have. I have yet to try their oysters on fridays when they're $1/oyster so hoping to try that soon! Also want to try their caviar one day. I also do Amazon orders from here often-sometimes I feel that's worth it since parking isn't always the best there.

Yelp
Visiting from Los Angeles where I work at WF and I really like this location. Store was very clean. Customer service was great all around from specialty to bakery to front end. Food and wine was fresh and delicious. Check the $5 and under cheese basket to make a great selection on the cheap(ish... I tend to spend more when I'm getting a good deal). Romerfhof Reisling at $12.99 was one of the best deals in the store. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the area! UPDATE: Returned two times during the three days I was visiting.

Yelp
My most recent experience was no friendly customer service. Unhappy service. Glaring at customers instead of greeting and showing helpfulness. I highly doubt any feedback goes to the store. I don't think they have any customer service training. For the price of goods, it a bad. I welcome more automation.

Yelp
Stopped into Whole Foods to drop off an Amazon return. They have the station for this set up right at the front of the store so it's super convenient and easy to do. It had been a while since my husband and I had been to a Whole Foods, so naturally, we did some exploring. I forgot how much I like Whole Foods. They have so many great grocery options and they carry a lot of items that you just can't find in your typical Ralphs or Vons. Be ready to drop some $$$ especially on common items, but it's a worthy place to shop for those organic or healthy food finds. I especially love the fresh food areas of Whole Foods where you can find fresh made pizza or Chinese food. This location can get a little congested, because it is a tight shop. Thankfully, there's a parking lot outside with an additional lot area so you don't have to worry about navigating the dreaded Hillcrest parking situation.
