I’ve been a loyal Whole Foods customer for years, and today’s experience at the Tustin Legacy location was one of the worst I’ve had at any Whole Foods store. The self‑checkout machine completed my transaction but failed to print a receipt. When I asked the floor associate for assistance, she showed no interest in helping and carried herself with an unprofessional, dismissive attitude. Instead of troubleshooting the issue, she immediately blamed me and insisted I had selected “no receipt” in the app. This was simply false. I showed her directly on my phone that I had selected both app and in‑store receipts. Even with clear evidence, she continued to argue, refused to acknowledge the machine malfunction, and made no effort to resolve the situation. Her behavior was not only unhelpful but disrespectful. As a long‑time customer, I expect basic courtesy and support — not to be blamed for a technical issue and brushed off as if my concern didn’t matter. This kind of service reflects poorly on the store and undermines the trust and loyalty customers like us have built over the years. I hope management addresses this immediately. No customer should be treated this way.

I like shopping here and I sometimes buy the hot food, but the prepared foods section feels very meat-focused. The “vegetarian options” are usually just a single plain grilled vegetable. Please add a few hearty vegetarian hot bar items so non-meat eaters have proper options.

Whole Foods is always exceptionally clean and well organized. The store is easy to navigate, shelves are consistently well stocked, and it’s simple to find what I need. Checkout is fast and efficient, making the entire shopping experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great place to shop.

I always love coming here and getting oysters shucked but the last couple times I've come, I've been denied service and was told no shucking today on multiple days. I want to shout out Jose in the seafood department for ignoring his coworkers to deny me service and asked how he could help. Jose was incredibly nice, helpful, and very quick.

The bread is great, the slicer is cool. The pizza is hot! Watch out when you weigh your salad or hot food, it might be heavier than you think😆

This is my local Whole Foods so I'm in here from time to time when I want to get something from the hot food bar or a special little treat. Their cookie bar is unbeatable imo. They have so many classic and seasonal flavors (pumpkin pie cookie, apple pie cookie) that it's a great place to get a fun sweet treat or a familiar favorite. I like that there's plenty of checkout lanes as well as self checkout so it's pretty easy to grab your items and go, even when it's crowded. They keep everything pretty well-stocked and it's a rather big Whole Foods so it's easy to find everything you're looking for plus some things you probably weren't but decided to add to your cart anyway! I've bought the berry chantilly cake a couple times now and it's great for parties and it's a great base if you want to decorate it yourself too. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare so be patient.

Decent location. Big and clean but there is a huge problem that you have to be aware of in case if you plan to dine in. There are three or four TVs located around the bar area that have their volume up. You have store music playing and four more sound tracks blasting all at the same time! I could not enjoy dinner in this atmosphere. Almost went nuts! Will not be back to eat here again.

I walked in here to return an Amazon package, and thankfully, this place had what I needed. I'm just so glad that I found the right place. The service is amazing, and thankfully, it didn't sour my perception of this place. It was crowded, but the place reminded me of a certain nostalgic time in my life or a life before I was born. I overheard another employee telling a guy where to drop off his Amazon package to return. The employee told this guy that he's a lucky guy because there is no line at all. I couldn't help but smile at the sight.

I enjoy coming to Whole Foods to shop for groceries. They have the widest selection of fruit,vegetables, meat, and seafood. I enjoy their seafood. They have the best pasta salad. They also sell other types of salads. You can also purchase pre packaged meals. The employees are very friendly. I like how there is a large seating area inside.

Very clean grocery store! The staff at the oyster bar were very kind. We got the $1 oyster Fridays deal which was amazing and delicious!

Been going to this Wholefood for years and I can't see why they don't get anything else beside a 5 stars. This is one of the places for a 5 in one stop! It has Mendocino farms, hot food section, bakery, plants, and Amazon return. Ample of parking and it's in a plaza that has 100 in 1 stop! So many businesses to check out here. Produce and meat are always fresh here! Staff has always been so nice and kind to me. Whether I needed help in their amazing cheese selection , or bakery (they write pretty nicely on cakes), dairy section (where few times they helped me getting my coconut cult bottles on top shelve), to the staff at the registers who you cannot even see that they're there but they always seem to appear right away when I'm struggling with scanning things without even asking or I just felt their presence swooping by to clean up stuff or picked up shopping baskets laying around. Then, there's the juice and coffee station where you can always count on a fresh nutritious juice drink and lastly, the Amazon return. How more convenient can you wish this place to be!!! This will always be one of my favorite Whole Foods! I would go out of the way to go here if possible!

The chantilly latte is pretty good. I love that substituting oat milk is free, making the latte very affordable. They usually only have one person that takes orders and makes the drinks too so there can be a bit of a wait sometimes but nothing too crazy.

Catering, what a mess. Order was supposed to be ready for 10-11 AM. I checked and waited and waited. Everyone got their order, and people after me got their order. FINALLY after asking 2 times, there is no one left and they call my order. Very basic order, 1 box of holiday sides, 1 app and 1 roasted veggies. Everyone with big turkey orders got theirs without a problem. So after 20 minutes I get my order, bring it to the car and decided I should check to be sure. OF Course they gave me the wrong items. Southern sides not the regular ones. So back in the store I go, and have to wait for the correct ones. 35 minutes to get a catering order correctly. Wow

Oysters 4/5 - we came for the Friday $12/12 oyster deal. We came around 1pm on a Friday and we were glad they didn't run out of oysters yet. We asked them to give us a random assortment of different oysters. Some tasted a bit fishy. But overall it was really good and we would go back.

The most disgusting seafood department. We have been ordering from Amazon fresh Whole Foods for 6 months now, assuming it was coming from the Whole Foods in Irvine since that's the closer store to us. However after 3 times in a row of spoiled seafood being sent to us, I finally looked into it since the Irvine location has phenomenal fresh seafood, and saw it was coming from the Tustin location. First we were sent completely spoiled shrimp, then rotten sole(to the point where before I even opened the bag it stunk and once I did open it it was yellow and slimy), and bad lobster tails. I only took photos of the sole, see attached. Whole Foods is supposed to be known for its quality food, ingredients, etc. and this does not hold up to that standard by a long shot. Would never ever order seafood from here.

Lazy and unhelpful employees in the back. It's been a while since I've been so annoyed with the employees at a grocery store. It's a night and day difference of attitude between employees at this Whole Foods versus most Trader Joe's employees I've encountered. Got a reminder of why I should just stick with my usual TJ trips.

The Whole Foods bakery is awesome! They make really good cakes and tarts at a reasonable price. Every time I get cakes or tarts from them, I get questions and compliments. "Where did you get this, it's really good " The store is always clean and the staff is always nice. HAPPY SHOPPING!

Great whole foods location with an excellent selection of fresh produce, frozen items, non perishables, baked goods, etc. The service over in the produce department is tops here. Michael, the assistant manager of the department, went above and beyond to assist me with procuring everything on my list. The sweet guy even helped me pick out my fruit (so kind and helpful). Lately, I've been on a hybrid fruit kick, and they have plenty of it here. They even had mandarinquats and pine berries, which are so delicious and quite difficult to find at any regular grocery store. I also like the fact that this location isn't crazy busy- I'm usually in and out within 5-10 minutes depending on how much stuff I'm buying. Anyhow, this is my go to Whole Foods- it has pretty much everything I want/need, so I can get most of my shopping done all at once and not have to worry about driving to several different stores to buy groceries.

I enjoy grabbing groceries and meals, including in Mendocino Farms here (healthy and cheap), though the merchandise is expensive. Wouldn't do it often here if you're practicing frugality. Clean, fresh ambience. Feels good to walk around inside. Parking is ample but often crowded. Conveniently located near the freeway. But I sometimes disdain the parking lot here. Many drivers ignoring stop signs or cutting ahead of other people's right of way. I feel safer driving around other shopping plazas. If you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend the Amazon services here. Only one associate is running the whole counter, and service can be slow at times. I waited 5 minutes to pick up a pkg here, compared with 5 seconds at all my other Amazon lockers. Also the guy wasn't very friendly.

cakes were not good. I was craving a sweet so I went for a Berry chantilly slice but there was none:( settled for tiramisu, flourless chocolate cake, and a mousse. The chocolate cake was the best. The tiramisu was so bad it was unbearable! Tasted like alcohol but also sour like it was bad?? I was shocked. The mousse was too creamy and soft for me.

The parking lot here is an absolute fu@&ing disaster. There are simply too few spots for the number of retail outlets here.

Clean, organized, and a massive selection of everything you could need. There were so many self serve options present, and an assortment of goodies for my friend and I to pick up for the week.

This Whole Foods is a mix of grocery store, Mendocino Farms, and a bar! From the outside, you can already tell that this is going to be a good Whole Foods. I started my grocery trip off with a bite from their hot & cold food bar because nobody likes grocery shopping when they're hungry. They have a pretty diverse selection ranging from Indian to American food. I got a soup and made a buffet box of items like their pasta salad, samosa, chicken strip, rice, and a few others. The total came out to about $30 which was enough to split between two people. The grocery store itself was clean and well-stocked. They had great deals on their fresh and seasonal produce. I absolutely love their cheese selection. There were so many great goat cheese choices so I'm already excited to come back and see what kind of charcuterie board I can build with it. This grocery store also has plenty of dietary restriction options like vegan cream cheese and impossible meats.

This review is for their coffee bar! I am OBSESSED with their iced pumpkin spice latte! Probably my favorite one out there right now. Very flavorful with the right amount of spices. Their prices are pretty affordable (around $3-4ish for a hot drink) and they charge .50 for an iced drink. It was $5 for my psl with oat milk. Service was pretty quick and efficient and the barista was very helpful! I believe the coffee bar opens at 8 am, even though the market opens at 7. I recommend checking their hours online the day that you go if you're trying to make an early morning stop!

This review is dedicated to the cafe/bar within the store and the cafe/bar alone! The first time I tried the Iced Honey Vanilla Latte, I was hooked. So much so that I had to come again today and get it again except in the large size. It's a bit silly to me that they charge more for the drink being iced, but considering the max I've paid (even for the large size) is $5.20, I'm not too fussed about it. The sweetness levels can also be adjusted (I'm just a girl with a sweet tooth, of course I asked for extra sweetness!) which is lovely. The first time I gave this a go, there was only one barista working the entire bar and the line had 3 or 4 people when I joined! Of course it took about 10 minutes for the drink to be ready, and I give all props to the barista managing all the variety of orders. Today, my drink was ready in half the time as they had two baristas behind the counter! I fear this order will become a staple for me when I'm getting that coffee craving!

This is the best store bought cake I have ever tasted!!! So moist, fresh fruit & layers of fresh goodness! A must buy just to treat your family!

Came here to get some snacks after grabbing lunch at the district. I got a couple chocolate covered pretzels and cookies at the self serve in the basket section. The price wasn't too bad for a small snack and they have tons of selection, all for the same price. This whole foods had tons of seating, which was perfect since they have so much self serve food, so it's a good place for lunch. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We love this place. Very healthy and tasty. Keeping it simple is the goal here. Very nice employees and helpful. I love the vibes here too!

You will wait foreveeeeer to get helped ... slow customer service , they will look right at you and continue doing what they were doing, chatting, cutting , walking around , acting busy , and no help, lol

All of their drinks are bomb and is a must try. They're very busy but staff are efficient and very nice. If you take a walk around the store, the wait doesn't feel that long either. The strawberry almond smoothie is refreshing and delicious. The almond taste is strong but blends perfectly with the strawberry and banana. I would highly recommend it.

I just had a wonderful interaction with Jose who works in the bakery area of Whole Foods. I came in to buy the Berry Chantilly cake which is always delicious! Not only was he helpful, polite, kind and professional, he offered to write a "happy birthday " on the cake. Jose did such an excellent job with his creative writing style. The cake itself is beautiful, but he made the cake stand out and look even better than in the original design. I will definitely be buying more cakes from this Whole Foods! Our local Whole Foods and one of my happy places. I would give this store a 3.5-4 stars rating, but the new customer service manager Cam is probably the best manager I've met. Seeing him interact with his employees was very touching, and he provides excellent customer service to his employees!

I come here every week for groceries, good experience usually, people all friendly and helpful. but last Friday 12/27/24 the cashier lady around 10:45am was ridiculously rude, if store manager read this review, she has a silver nose ping, dark hair, the entire process she was complaining to her coworker about her Christmas, I carefully asked her if the machine took my prime membership, she acted like she was so bothered by me and impatient and didn't respond to me but throw me the receipt! and almost like yelling at me at the end to tell me how much my grocery was. If you are having a bad day, don't take it on your customer. Avoid her if possible.

I came here for $10 Cheese Pizza Friday. Staff who took our order was polite. Considering it's Friday - there was not that many people there in the Food area. While waiting for pizza, I went around and shot some pictures to share. After about 15-20 minutes, I got my pizza. The fam liked it. It actually tasted better than Amazon Fresh. They have tables/chair/water and utensils if you want to sit down and eat there. If money is not an issue - Whole Foods Market is the place for you. They have a lot more selection of food and non-food items but they are expensive! I am a regular at Amazon Fresh when they have their discounts but only come to Whole Foods for specialty items. The store looks nice and organized. The veggies are well kept and red meats look delicious. I am surprised they have such varieties of seafoods. Too expensive for me though. Definitely use your Prime membership and Prime Credit Card to take advantage of any discounts. Parking: free and plenty. However - can be a nightmare because it is located within a big shopping area (Costco, Michaels, In-n-Out etc.) I usually do not park in front of the store but a bit further away to avoid traffic.

Come on guys. Seriously. Again? Second week in a row that I show up for my large pizza order and it's not ready. I always order a day ahead of time. I show up early or on time. Everybody's doing their best, but there's something with the system here. Get it fixed. Thank you Jesús and Customer Service for giving me a gift card.

I love Whole Foods! I love coming here for the artisanal products and the bakery. I have always enjoyed everything I get from the bakery but the FRUIT TART IS A MUST TRY! The cream is sweet and fluffy while the fruit is sweet and juicy and the crust is perfectly buttery and flaky. It is an incredible combination that wowed all of my guests.

When looking at the cheese section today I observed two employees behind the counter facing the wall handling the cheese with gloves on and chatting. Then the employee (hat, long wavy brown hair, male) took that same gloved hand that was directly handling the food and scratched his face with it.

I've had multiple frustrating experiences at Whole Foods due to incorrect pricing at checkout. Items often ring up higher than the shelf price, and when I bring it up, the cashiers are dismissive or outright rude. On top of that, the produce isn't always fresh--I've come across wilted vegetables more than once. The worst was finding expired pomegranate seeds still on the shelves. For a store that promotes high-quality standards, they really need to do better with pricing accuracy, customer service, and freshness.

My wife and I placed an order for a Whole Foods delivery from the Tustin store. We've always had appreciation for this delivery option, and all of the communications related to it. Today, we were unable to get the usual information about our order, except that it was delayed. We finally called the store, and spoke with their Customer Service representative, Cam. He couldn't have been nicer in explaining that Amazon is having a national problem with its Internet. He assured us that the order would arrive later sometime--he couldn't say when yet--but that our refrigerated items were still in the refrigerator even though the rest of our order indicated it had been packed. We're sure it must have been a difficult day for Cam, given the Internet issue, but he couldn't have been nicer, more patient, empathetic, or articulate. We were so grateful to be able to speak with him--just a terrific reflection on Whole Foods. Thank you again!!

I come here strictly for the Amazon return services that are free. I have shopped at Whole Foods before and this is my opinion: 1. They better be paying employees above minimum wage because the prices they charge for basic groceries like eggs and milk are INSANE. 2. I like that they have a buffet-style meal service in the grocery store. I got less than one scoop of mac and cheese once and it came out to be $7. Literally, three plastic-spoons worth of scooping and it was $7.... and I thought Ralphs was pricey... 3. The pastries that they bake fresh are the only things that are worth their price. They are delicious, and I would love my next birthday cake to be from here. People around here seem to be able to afford it, but I know value when I see it, and it's not here. Just another overpriced grocery store. I would only shop here if you are severely allergic to certain products in everyday foods and really needed alternative options to keep you alive: for instance, gluten intolerance or any other hypersensitivities.

Typical whole foods with 2 big exceptions...the first is the men's room. It is absolutely disgusting. It Reeks of urine, and you can tell they never figured out the no flush toilets. The floor is permanently etched from the constant presence of urine. The trash is always over flowing and the sink has been leaking for at least 6 months. The big fix is they placed a blue bin under it to catch the water. They should just let it run maybe it will wash away the urine. Also i come here for lunch quite a bit and the salad bar is always missing several popular items, especially the protein. I sent feedback to the corp office 2x in the last 6 months and still no improvement. I work nearby and come here at least 2-3 days a week.

What on earth is going on here? The shelves are empty, the flowers are wilted and the selection is seriously lacking. Step it up and make it like it used to be.

MEAN LADY indie ! Be aware !!!!! The overall environment is nice but if you were a girl, a lady, or Asian, be aware. I asked the customer service desk if they can help me secure the egg since I don't want it to break while driving home. The lady gave me an attitude as if I just hit her lambo. Not sure what's going on with her life but, she taped my hand with the egg?! LIKE WHAT?! She was simply rolling her eyes so much so I guess she wasn't even aware until I pull my hands away while helping her and thanking her.. .

This market has fallen from being a gourmet grocery store to just an expensive Albertsons. They used to have a good meat counter, but it is now very poorly stocked and their "butchers" are lacking in the most basic knowledge of their trade. It also turns out they don't carry any prime grade beef anymore. Today I asked for a prime grade cut of beef, was told that that is what I was handed, and the label clearly stated choice. After I pointed it out, they confessed to the fact that they don't carry anything prime. That didn't stop them from lying about it until I called them out on it. No need to ever shop here again.

I bought a birthday cake for my wife here. I had purchased birthday cakes on a number of occasions previously from the Whole Foods store in Westminster, and they have always been exceptional. Today I was very disappointed. The cake was dry, the frosting was hard, the taste was poor and too sweet, and it was expensive. Most of our guests didn't finish the piece they were served. I don't think I will buy anything from their bakery again.

As always this place is clean and always kept right. The service too is always on point although this time i had to wait. Well last time i guess that I will be coming for any smoke meat products. I had in the past try to get some brisket and out of the 1/2 of pound I had maybe 4 edible ounces. This time around I was told that "it's brisket" is supposed to be fatty. I know that part but considering the cut location which was the point. I was expecting less fat but whomever trimmed it did very little and I did not feel like paying for fat.

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. For a "gourmet" or aspirational brand the bathrooms are just as bad as the bathrooms at the beach in Huntington. Trash cans are always overflowing, facets are wrapped in towels to stop leaks, paper towels are out and the soup dispensers are empty. They smell like urine and all around awful. WF should really make an effort to clean the bathrooms.

Went in to buy a cake. Asked the lady behind the counter if she could write on it happy birthday. She hesitated, told me the colors she had, she wrote it and I left. When I got home I looked at it and it looked horrible. Had to scrape it off. She could have let me know she was not the person that writes on the cakes and I would have been ok with no writing.

Dogs in the food section of this store. I don't understand why customers do this or why staff allow this. Definitely not hygienic.

I don't know if it's the lack of training. But this is becoming a weekly thing. It doesn't matter what time of the day you go. The milk section is always empty. The department manager is not placing the order on time or placing it late. I've gone at different times and or different days same thing empty. Is this an on going issue at all the whole foods.

This is 3 star review simple because the store is expensive. Now I come here for very specific items as they are normally not at my regular grocery stores. So I deal with the prices because it is special purchases Get the prices lower please

Oh wow let me tell you about the game I just purchased and cooked from Whole Foods! I hosted a Christmas Brunch for my gal pals and their spouses this weekend and one of them has celiac disease. When I listened to her story about how careful she has to be and that they don't go out to eat very much because of it, I decided to do research and put on a brunch with main dishes that were gluten free- including the ham. One of my favorite National ham companies did tell me over the phone that their ham was not gluten free because it the ingredients they use to season the meat- kudos to them for being honest! I then called Whole Foods and they told me they just got a shipment in if hams around 10 pound each that were spiral slices and gluten free. I was thrilled and headed to the store because they were giving an additional discount if you had a prime membership!!! So the ham is from a company called Tender Belly and it was the tastiest ham I had ever had. It is I cured with no antibiotics, no hormones, no nitrates or nitrites and vegetarian fed. It came up to the appropriate temperature in about two hours. I made my own glaze even though it came with a glaze packet. My guests said the ham was "out of this world". Before this experience, I would have not thought that ham could be an elegant delicious holiday dish, but I now stand corrected. I have posted a photo of the package label So you can see it when you shop. If you are interested, ask for my glaze recipe!

MOLD. I've been coming to this store for 7 years and it's consistently gone downhill. Constantly buying food with mold and not realizing until it's too late. I ate this apple pie this week not knowing it's infested with mold and now I'm feeling sick. This is not the first time I've accidentally ate mold from this store. This is my last straw. Never coming back.
