My wife and I occasionally drop off Amazon returns here—it's conveniently located by the deli. I've only bought food from the deli once, and that was a seriously overpriced slice of pizza. To pay, I had to walk it over to a bar-style checkout they’ve set up, and the staff didn’t seem too thrilled about handling it. Today, while dropping off another return, I figured I’d grab a quick bite—maybe some fruit or a small salad. I found what I was looking for, but the prices were outrageous. My wife and I do well for ourselves—we eat out often and tip generously. We know what things should cost. The deli prices at this Whole Foods are just flat-out excessive. So I left and headed around the corner to a hidden gem more people are starting to discover: Discount Drug Mart, at Yankee and Lyons. I got the same type of fresh veggies and small lunch portion for under $5—compared to the $15 Whole Foods was charging.

One of my favorite stores! It's always so clean, organized, and has a wonderfully wide selection. They have a self-serve bulk goods area. They also offer delicious in house made hot food bars and salad bars. There is a little coffee/wine bar located inside the store with a sitting area where you can enjoy your food and drink. I love trying all of the locally made items sold at this location. The staff is always so kind and helpful as well. Each section of the store has its own personality. Definitely recommend the house made desserts/tarts case located in the bakery! This store usually has everything I'm looking for so I'd say that they are pretty reliable when it comes to being stocked and offering variety.

It seems the produce has really gone down hill... I can't seem to find garlic, shallots, or most onions free of black powdery mold. Really concerning that anyone would think it's ok to put these items out for sale. Just when I thought I found a good bulb of garlic, I went home to use it and found that most of it was either shriveled up or sprouting. Definitely not fresh. I've also noticed that regardless of the day of the week I go lately a ton of items are out of stock or in a state of disarray. It really didn't used to be this bad, what's going on Whole Foods?

This used to be one of my favorite markets, except lately I have noticed the level of customer service is declining. For example, I was in the store on a Friday with my kid and he asked one of the employees handing out pastry samples if he could have one. The store employee told him no, and said that if he wanted to try it we should buy a whole one. Because, the samples he was giving out were for wine drinkers only. That makes sense from his perspective, from my perspective you just denied a kid a miniscule product sample, really? Free samples lead to sales, and this was a kid asking for one, and most likely, had he liked the pastry, I would have purchased a whole one for him and I. The other day I had an employee overload one of my bags, with three glass bottles (upright), half a gallon of milk and other items. In the past other employees separate the glass bottles or bag them in a smaller paper bag as a barrier, this time I had to do it myself. The pizza can be pretty good except these days it is a 50/50 chance that it will be burnt. One department that is consistent in decent service is the meat department, just don't stop by on a Friday evening when they are being overrun by wine and oyster enthusiasts. WF bring back the top notch customer service.

Google
Definitely not a Dorothy Lane Market but it is what it is! I had a bad experience at the bar while ordering a drink and if it wasn't for that then I would have given ⭐⭐⭐⭐. The bartender was very rude and inhospitable but I will be back to buy soaps and baskets and clothing. I found some really cool finds and I had a great experience with my PRIME order. The young lady who was my personal shopper was outstanding! My order was completed much quicker than expected and everything was packaged with care! The store was very clean and the cashiers were very kind and helpful!

Google
They have nice quality food options however they are doing illegal activity! I just did a return to this store. 2 items. One item I paid with a visa debit card and the other item I paid with my EBT card. When I returned them, the clerk returned both of the item’s dollar amount to the EBT card!! When I told him how can he legally do that since one was paid for “essentially cash”…he said “they use which ever payment is first” and that is the card they return it too. I don’t think he knows what an EBT card is??? Its federally funded. And you just committed fraud. Look it up. I’ve been calling to speak with a shift lead or manager however they have their phone on busy. I think they do it on purpose because every time I’ve been at this location their customer service is closed. So I’ve tried 37 times to get through.

Google
Wonderful selection of produce, plus salad bar and hot bar with vegan options. The foods on the cold and hot bars are clearly labeled with ingredients. A great coffee bar. Helpful, friendly store associates.

Google
My husband and I love Whole Foods! I go every single Sunday to buy my fruit and other produce. Their fresh milk by Hartzler is the absolute best milk we have ever had! I can never go back! The New York Strip steaks are to die for😋

Alexandra A.

Yelp
We dropped in just to grab a few things and stumbled upon all the fall specialty items. Jackpot! They had a kids shopping cart and free oranges for kids to play with in the dinning area up front which was super cute and entertaining for my two year old. Service was friendly and speedy. We will be back our next time in Dayton.

Albert R.

Yelp
This store is definitely not what it used to be. The produce selection is abysmal and in fact you can find a much wider and more fresh variety at places like Kroger and Meijer. The so called Hot Bar is dirty and the food looks like it's been sitting there for hours if not days. Even the bakery has lackluster quality, they can no longer make vegan products for some unknown reason. As for the employees while they are throughout the store m, I wish you well in actually attempting to get one of them to assist you. The vast majority either ignore you or when you do get their attention they act as if they are far too important to bother with a mere peasant of a customer. It would do well to remind them that they are not an elite grocery store but a subsidiary of Amazon

Sonia E.

Yelp
I love the selection but I dislike the staff's attitude deeply. First I'm doing my own check out and staff member is around, I ask a question and seems to bother her. That's bad enough in my opinion, but to top it off I place the basket on the side of the register and she tells me "ma'am the baskets go over there" and points toward a the exit. YOU work here with a salary, I don't, so please take the basket and move it for a customer. Now to top it off I try to put the basket back and she's standing right in front chatting with another employee criticizing a prior customer that said the prepared food was too expensive and laughing. Lady, that's the attitude that gets me to not come back. I shop here sellen because this happened before and I think, maybe they're better now. Nope, same entitled, stick-up staff that believe are too good to help customers. Shop at your own risk of being treated like garbage.

Scott D.

Yelp
I don't typically shop here, I'm not overly concerned with getting the best healthy food that money can buy. I'm a normal guy who eats normal food, I don't have any special food needs, or can be described as "keto, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, kosher, low fat, gluten free, or Unitarian. BUT when I have a few extra bucks and want to get some good cheese, meat, or a different snack then I can find at my normal guy grocery, Whole Foods is one of the place I go if I'm in the area. Love the pizza, and Mediterranean bar. Associates are friendly, and can be found beyond the check out lane. Don't forget your own bags, I didn't see any in the self check out lane.

Amy J.

Yelp
Lately these are the least interactive and unfriendly employees ever. Rarely greeted or helped anymore and they seem bored to be there and more interested in talking to one another. They used to ask if you needed help and were quick to assist with Amazon returns, check out and helping find items. It's just looks of sarcasm now and complete giggles among staff. I rarely ask for help but if needed, I try to be the least complicated. Can't believe how they treat some that can't use the Amazon return depot or the self check out. Geez.

Dana M.

Yelp
So my family was getting together for pizza dinner. Some had an hour drive to and from my house to their home, so timing was important. I called twice during my 20 minute drive to order pizza ahead of my arrival. Both times, I was transferred to an extension which after about 14 rings, disconnected the call. Employees couldn't care less about my telephone order attempt issues. Meaning pizza order lady, and also the cashier. Next time I will order my $46.00 pizzas elsewhere.

Lucy F.

Yelp
I love the great helpful & friendly service - lots of interesting food selections - and several selections of good pizzas- great desserts/baked goodies - I always come here with my Amazon returns love the easy to use return kiosk, I personally am a fan there's always someone to help if you need it.

S M.

Yelp
I had a negative experience with cashier Cheryl. she is not a pleasant person and does not appear to want to be working

Steve S.

Yelp
This is a wonderful place to shop for grocery's you might have trouble finding in the big stores. But be aware that it's pricy as well. We stopped in because we were in the area and bought a number of things. Lots to pick from - from fresh produce, meats fish, wine and beer, frozen foods and on and on. This is a clean, well run store. We will be back.

Dash Cam G.

Yelp
If you have an amazon return, you might want to think about going elsewhere instead of returning your item at this location. Their attitude is for everyone to use self return kiosk and self checkout stations as much as possible. Reminds me of another large national organization... Spoke with mgr Rachel and was told the expectation is for the customer to use self return, but if any issues arise, assistance would be provided. So, I purchase an item from amazon, the item has issues upon inspection, and now I waste my time and fuel to drive to this location just to be expected to process my own return? I don't think so..

Cindy S.

Yelp
This store has gone downhill. I used to enjoy shopping here, but no more. Inventory is inconsistent. Staff is rude or non-existent. After today's experience, I'm done.

Ks A.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Don't go too close to closing. You'll feel like you got ripped off after paying high prices and having a bad experience.

Aaron H.

Yelp
So, I'm used to writing reviews for restaurants and services, but I want to let you know the Whole Foods Market in Centerville is absolutely as good as grocery shopping gets. Our bill was much lower than we expected, and the quality of the groceries is absolutely head and shoulders above the competition. We were actually greeted by store employees who were stocking, and the fact three separate instances, we had someone offer a small bit of conversation as they were working. It's as though we were welcomed by everyone working there! One of the young ladies in the produce section apologized to us for the selection being a little below average, but we found everything on our list with absolutely no complaints. Aisles are large enough to fit two and a half shoppers through, the whole store is clean, and we are definitely going back. I don't even mind driving past two grocery stores to get there - it's worth it!

Amanda A.

Yelp
I love Whole Foods. I have a dairy allergy so they have a lot of things that I can safely eat. The vegan donuts are to die for! So good and tasty. I also love the food options especially the sushi. The hot bar usually has some items I can eat as well as the soup and salad bars. Love that they have a bar inside too. My husband and kids are big fans of the pizza. I do wish prices were a bit more affordable. I also wish they'd bring back Wine Night. Overall I'm a fan. Lots of parking options too. They also have an electronic charging stations.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Whole Foods is an excellent source for clean food. Their prices are more reasonable lately but my Amazon prime membership and using my Amazon chase card brings more discount to the purchase. I did notice that Dayton Ohio WF doesn't have the wide selection I find in Vernon Hills Illinois but I imagine that's market differences. I Liked the self checkout option!

Rebecca I.

Yelp
Whole Foods was wonderful! I haven't been to one in a long time but I highly recommend the Friday night wine tasting! I've never had so much fun in a grocery store before. Definitely grab a beer out of the case and get some cheese pizza while your at it!

Meikaline W.

Yelp
I am vegetarian. Many options are available here. Super nice employees. I start off with : SIP AND SHOP. grocery shopping is way better with a cocktail. I grab a slice of pizza as well : Make better decisions when shopping if not hungry whilst doing so.

Sarah E.

Yelp
They have the best hot bar and salad bar of any Whole Foods around! Get the vegan curried chicken salad, you won't regret it. $8.99 per pound, use a cardboard to go box or a plastic tray with sections. Surprisingly they don't offer compostable plates if you are eating in the dining room. The rest of the store is also great, complete with sushi bar, pizza kitchen, full bar, coffee bar, bakery, and a great cheese selection. Everything is clean and orderly, staff is always great. Would return.

Kirsten J.

Yelp
One of my favorite food markets. I often go there after work to get my groceries. Yes I know it is a bit on the pricey side but I love their selection. The salad bar is the bomb.com!! So tasty! The bakery offers artisan bread which is delish. The store offers a wide selection of organic and environment friendly products. Every Friday is wine tasting. You get a ticket for a few bucks and can enjoy different types of wines throughout the store. I love that the grocery cart has a wineglass holder! So classy and convenient. Amazon Prime members save an additional 10% off all on sale items.

Katie H.

Yelp
I still consider this a whole paycheck kind of place, but some prices are much better since Amazon bought them. Also, there are some products I can only find here (Paleo BBQ sauce, ketchup and dressings). In the bulk section they even have sunflower seed butter! I wish this location offered more events and classes. When I've lived in Cincinnati and St. Louis free events and cool classes were offered monthly. They do offer free fruit for kiddos, which is much appreciated! But it's tucked away on the other side of the registers. I squeeze through and get one for my fourteen month old BEFORE we begin shopping. Because that piece of fruit is what keeps him entertained while I go through my list and pick up what we need. This location does offer a great variety of cheeses and breads in particular. It also sells local items (like Cincinnati's Madisano Gelato)!

Hanna F.

Yelp
I was a little underwhelmed with this location as far as the selection. Maybe I'm just used to the in your face service provided on the east coast, but it seems I have to hunt down employees on the midwest (shrugs). I purchased some smoked mozzarella pasta salad, and it wasn't as fresh as I expect from Wholefoods, but I ate it tho.

Gregg M.

Yelp
My overall rating is based on my experience at this store compared to experiences I've had at other Whole Foods across the country not to its competitors in the Dayton area. It had been a while since I'd shopped at the area's only Whole Foods. I was initially impressed with the store when it first opened, but had opted to shop elsewhere more convenient to where we live. During the time between visits, Whole Foods has changed a lot. Unchanged is that the store is still clean, modern, well lit and maintained, with a friendly, helpful staff. The changes, however, were big ones, all for the worse, and deal breakers for me. The meat and seafood departments, once difference-making strengths, have been reduced in allocated floor/counter space by half. As a sad result, the meat and seafood departments share a common counter drastically reducing the meat, poultry, and seafood selection to the point that it's no better (and perhaps worse) than your average grocery store and not even marginally close to comparable to what can be found at DLM. Frankly, there's nothing at this Whole Foods that I can't find elsewhere that's more convenient for me, equal to or less expensive, and of equal quality. In Dayton, Whole Foods has largely been relegated to my grocery store of last resort.

Libby V.

Yelp
Omg. I so love this store. Wandering thru and tasting home made breads, salsa, cheese. Fresh Flowers. Wine. Soap. Heaven. Fig Jam...had to consider that at a teensy jar for $7.99. Addicting on brie cheese, toast, out of the jar. And I'm not even a jam fan. On my 3rd jar. So preparing for a March snowstorm (the worst thank you very much) we stocked up on comfort food. Bob said best steak ever ... strong praise from a steak addict. I had jumbo shrimp. Can't imagine doing weekly shopping here. It's expensive. But such a treat. My biggest regret...I didn't buy more tea cookies. Oh so good

T H.

Yelp
I always enjoy to shopping at Whole Foods Market. There are big variety of everything. I always find new and interesting food. Their display of food is also great and attracts and makes many shoppers to try new food. I wish it locates much closer to our area in north of Dayton.

Masa M.

Yelp
This Whole Foods is much better than those in Cincinnati and Mason. There are wide selections of the deli and spacious eating space there. Also, many vegetables are sold there. I wish Mason's store in my neighborhood catches up here soon...

Kristen S.

Yelp
This is a neat place! There are tons of interesting foods, hygiene products, beers and wines to look at. There is also a bar area & some times they have live music. There are different events such as wine tasting, beer tasting, etc. This is grocery shopping made fun! The only problem is it's pricey to shop here. You'd quickly break the bank if you shopped here on a regular basis.

Marisa B.

Yelp
Love the Whole Foods in Centerville! Friendly staff, well-appointed store. Everything flows well, and shopping here makes grocery shopping less of a chore and more of an experience. The food they make in-house is always delicious and fresh, and the produce section is brimming with bright and fresh fruit and veggies and selections you can't find at other grocery stores in the area. Lots of great local options, not only in the produce section but throughout the store. Whole Foods also does a wonderful job of stocking cage-free, free-range, responsibly-raised meats for the conscious cook. If you're serious about quality and understand the implications of consuming meat, there's really no better place to shop in Dayton. The store is never over-crowded, and the aisles are calm instead of chaotic. The prices are not as inflated as uninformed shoppers tend to believe/assume. You'll pay a little more than you'd pay at Kroger, but the quality and shopping experience make up for it since the difference is not drastic.

April A.

Yelp
There is always something going on at Whole Foods. I have been there for the Ladies Night events, as well as Friday Night Flights wine event. The food pairing are always great, but I am not always pleased with the wine. Nothing negative against Whole Foods...I just don't like red wine, which is what they usually have at 4 of the 5 stations. I would like to make it to the in-store yogurt event, but I work during the day. As far as the products, I love the guacamole, peace basil lemonade, and the cheese station has all the good stuff!!!

Brittany C.

Yelp
I very much enjoy the bar with draft beer. The fresh foods on the food bar are a great way to eat healthy in a rush. Great place to stop on a weekday for a cup of black bean soup and a pint.

Alexis M.

Yelp
Friday Night Flights is my weekly thing! If I'm not at Whole Foods on Friday then something is probably wrong! It's such a great thing that they do. Plus, hey you can grocery shop as you go! The selections are fantastic! I love this place!

Josephine L.

Yelp
My favorite part about this amazing store is the seating areas. They have a great patio for eating lunch, studying, doing work or just hanging out. A really inviting environment along with great customer service and delicious foods! They have a bar of pre made foods that is perfect for lunch or dinner, great healthy options! As well as great stone fire pizza!!! Oh and a bar to grab a glass of wine or a matcha latte!! Always happy to come here

Anisah H.

Yelp
Every last employee that we interacted with was kind, helpful, and welcoming. The selections in this store are plentiful. They carry a great variety in each department I visited. I appreciated that the front of the building is a smoke free zone. Great things: The parking lot was cleaner than most They had multiple registers open for checkout There are many vegan options The employees are knowledgeable Not so great things: Some of the produce was rotting and molding (the grapes) The hot bar was a little messy. (Food littering the outside of the containers and counters)

Carrie A.

Yelp
Hubby and I took our first trip to Whole Foods today. We were greeted in the dairy section by Laura who gave us the quick info for our first trip. Then I mentioned I was dairy free and she made the trip amazing. She told me where everything I wanted was, showed me a few of her personal favorites, and let me try a sample of a few items!!! I ended up with everything I was looking for and more. Even dairy-loving hubby was thrilled and spent as much money as did. Something for everyone here and good competitive prices as well!

Jeff G.

Yelp
I was reluctant to welcome Whole Foods to the Dayton area because I feel there is an overcrowding of grocery options and I didn't want them to disrupt my flow. Our groceries used to come from three locations. Kroger, Dorothy Lane Market, and Earth Fare. We try to eat all organic and it's tough to get everything you need from one location...or so I thought. I finally caved in and visited this location probably a month after it opened. WOW. This place is incredible. They have a great selection of organic everything! Their produce and meat selections are incredible. The hot bar section is so huge its almost overwhelming. This place is Earthfare times 10. Whats really cool is they have a coffee shop/bar. Yes, a bar. You can order a couple slices of pizza and was it down with a nice craft beer in their cafe or out on their front patio. They also do growler fills. Their beer and wine selection is pretty impressive. Since that first visit I have been here a dozen times. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. They always have what I need. My trio is now a foursome.

Andrea E.

Yelp
I don't usually review chains, and I don't usually give 5 stars, but the prepared foods section of this Whole Foods deserves some recognition. I have to go to Dayton every summer for 2 weeks for a teacher training and living in a hotel for a long time in a place where you don't know anyone can be kind of a bummer food-wise 'cause you can only eat Qdoba or dine alone for so long... There is always an amazing variety of delicious and healthy foods here and the Whole Foods at home in Detroit is reeeeally disappointing in comparison... When I got to Dayton this year I was starving and so psyched to see pulled pork, paneer saag, samosas, roasted veggies, plantains and the most beautiful salad bar in the world among soooo many other things. Plus there's a bunch of goofy stuff like a man dressed up as Santa handing out cookies for some reason and a saxophone quartet playing over by the bar. It seems like people actually come here to hang out which is kinda neat? Good job, Dayton, you got something right (other than man's ability to fly).

kimberley f.

Yelp
Love this place. They have the best cold and hot bar options. They have the best brisket I have ever had! Better than any bbq place or anywhere. AWESOME! It can be pricey but somethings are worth it. I'm craving it now. LOL. S The store is clean and the staff are really nice. I will be back. In a few days for some more brisket.

Cindy B.

Yelp
I live north of Centerville, where Whole Foods is located. Driving in the area one day I saw the store and thought, wow! This is the place the Top Chef contestants shop at! I was excited to go inside. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that the prices were even more extravagant than Dorothy Lane Market! I am sure the foods are fantastic but as with DLM, I just can't rationalize spending that kind of money when there are less expensive options.

Tim M.

Yelp
On Sunday I went to the Dayton Whole Foods Market with my daughter and my 14 month old grandson. This is such a cool store! For starters there is a bar along the front wall by the doors. I have not seen this at a grocery store before. We were there for the Thanksgiving food sampling event. In the back of the store was buffet line where you could sample their turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, a brie cheese dish and pumpkin chocolate chip pie with marshmallow sauce. We all loved the mashed potatoes. They were perfectly seasoned and so full of flavor even without the gravy. I had the dark meat turkey. My tasted very good but my daughter said that her sample was on the dry side. The cubed sweet potatoes with brown sugar were a favorite of my grandson and I. And of course the pumpkin chocolate chip pie was awesome. It had a lot of marshmallow sauce! At the front of the store you could sample cookies and coffee. We had so much fun. I want to return here for another special event or just to shop If you are in Dayton check out this store. Until next time be kind to each other.

J W.

Yelp
So excited to have a Whole Foods Market in Dayton! It's a great blend of a farmer's market and organic grocery store. Fresh, delicious food options that are good for you. Love the produce section here! There's also an extensive salad/soup/hot food bar for quick meals on the go, a growler station, and bar area. A tip to keep in mind: eating well is not cheap. Be prepared to spend more than your average grocery bill at WFM.

Tony S.

Yelp
Out of all the whole foods I've been to across the country, this is by far my favorite one. There is a booze tasting nearly every night, my favorite is Thursday where you get five craft beer selections for $5. Thursday's always has a generous spread out of crackers pate and cheese or something similar. There make to order pizza is great with more options than other WF and if you want two whole pizzas, it's $24. Not a bad deal when you look at how big they are.

Amber G.

Yelp
I went here for the first time the other day. I was very impressed with their large selection of many things that I typically buy at other grocery stores, but that they offered in several additional flavors, esp. Zevia soda. They also have Peach Noosa yogurt, which every other store i've searched in has stopped selling. I love their hot food bars. Many good looking foods to choose from. I tried the vegan pad thai, which was good, but tasted nothing like pad thai. My only negative would be that I specifically went here to find some vegan friendly white chocolate chips & some sugar free white chocolate chips & they didn't have either. Other than that love the store!

Anthony Luckett Merch L.

Yelp
The cashew milk at this location was absolutely terrible. I should not have to spend 11$ for disgusting milk. This milk was the worst ever.

Matt M.

Yelp
Only store I've ever been to that doesn't serve breakfast. And only one checkout lane open. Not good.

Molly H.

Yelp
I'm very glad to have a Whole Foods in the Dayton area as someone who eats a primarily vegan diet (they sell some of the best vegan substitute food products!). Lots of awesome options for dairy substitutes and even bakery items that are vegan! (A rarity to find in Ohio!) I am, however, becoming increasingly disappointed with their offerings at the hot bar. A couple times I've gone for dinner and they've been out of rice and on meatless Monday's there hasn't been many vegan options or it's been the same stuff every week. Hoping for some better meatless Monday offerings please (sweet and sour tofu and the black cherry tofu are my favs they've done!)

Susan F.

Yelp
They don't restock very quickly when they are out. Soups are NOT made there but trucked in. Soups are not very good quality either. When they are out of potatoes, they do not restock. Just let it go without. Many times I have had to go to Dorothy Lane because they don't restock items so I have decided that I only go to Dorothy Lane. Whole Foods started out good, but the quality and service as diminished greatly. This is from someone who lives very close and used to go there almost daily. Now, it is only to pick up a convenience item or two. You really can't beat Dorothy Lane Market in Dayton, Ohio.

Ellie D.

Yelp
The pizza here is really good...made to order with lots of fresh, organic toppings. The price is very reasonable as well. When it comes to the self serve food, there is a huge selection. I've never been impressed with the flavor of the dishes though. It tastes mass produced and is only average at best. I always find myself wondering why I keep coming back for it. The salad bar is good but not fantastic...things that should be kept warm (cooked squash etc) are ice cold. Overall, it's great for pizza pies or a quick healthy (flavorless) lunch.

David L.

Yelp
The hot bar always has great food at a reasonable price. The moshi is a great way to end a meal as dessert. They have a lot of healthy options to choose from throughout the store. Great stone fire pizza. Wether you're on whole 30, keto, vegan, or just eating healthy, they are a great place to shop for your needs.

Arsh K.

Yelp
I've never been much of a Whole Foods shopper until I moved to Ohio. I used to stick with Safeway and Costco. Now this is where I buy all my veggies, meat, gluten free breads/pastas. The butchers are helpful and answer my questions ( don't live near my dad to ask him questions like which steak doesn't have bones, does this salmon have bones in it) they don't make me feel stupid. The cashiers are soooo pleasant( I actually enjoy our short conversations). They even have suggested places to eat since I'm new to the area. I love how this is a main one stop shop for me. I also enjoy how they are very informative. They also have plenty of parking and are always well stocked. I feel that I can finally write this review after my 7th visit and I've had a great experience ever since.

Yelp
I enjoy my visits to Whole Foods because they always have interesting beverages, bath products, and random goodies. This particular location looks much larger than the ones I have visited in other Ohio cities. Their high ceilings, bright lights, simple design, and rustic wooden décor looks very cozy and attractive. I think that the service is a hit or miss, especially for what I consider a high-end, natural grocery store. I observe either enthusiastic or "don't-bother-me" attitudes, so maybe it depends on what day I visit. Hint: If you must, go on the weekends. I like that they tailor the store to Dayton, especially since their bulletin board mentions the Wright Brothers and the first flight. The store also introduces a local vibe by selling natural bath products made by Daytonians. Some local brands even have an entire line of products here. The board also shows weekend activities that involve food and alcohol tastings! I think I am starting to see the picture here? It's basically saying get involved with a corporate chain that's marketing itself as a local! So far, I like the store's spacious aisles, the preservative-free foods, and the bakery that beckons me to eat sweets all day. I will probably visit in the future.
