West Hollywood’s New Strip Mall Burger and Cocktail Spot Is Very Uncool | Eater LA

"I observed that the new Uncool shares a parking lot with the always-busy Whole Foods, which helps anchor that walkable stretch of Fairfax and Santa Monica Boulevard." - Farley Elliott

This is hands-down my favorite Whole Foods, even though it’s not the biggest one in town. The West Hollywood location manages to punch well above its weight—thoughtfully laid out, always well-stocked, and somehow less chaotic than other larger stores. The product selection is excellent, especially considering the footprint. You’ll find everything from everyday staples to niche wellness items without having to zigzag through a warehouse-sized store. What really sets this location apart, though, is the consistency and the service. The staff is genuinely helpful—whether you need help finding something obscure or just a quick, smooth checkout, they’ve got it handled. The produce and prepared foods are reliably fresh, and the quality across the board is what you’d expect from Whole Foods—but without feeling like you’re paying some ridiculous premium. Prices are fair relative to the quality, and in many cases better than you’d find at other upscale grocery options in LA. And let’s talk convenience: parking is easy, location is central, and the flow of the store just makes sense. I’ve been to a lot of Whole Foods locations, but this one feels like it’s designed for real people who shop often and want to get in and out efficiently without sacrificing quality. A five-star experience, every time.

I’ve been coming here ever since I moved here 9 years ago. I has stayed the same ever since( with a few minor upgrades to make the store better) the community of West Hollywood meets here..not only able to shop and grab what they need. I love how it’s become a staple in West Hollywood. I’ve made friends with the staff and they take their jobs very seriously but also have fun. Way better than Trader Joe’s staff. It feels more of a personalized experience when shopping. This place is great for anxious, neurodivergent individuals as well. Continues to serve the community with a positive outlook.. even if you are having a bad day and need a pick me up.

Whole Foods on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood has a great selection of organic products and fresh produce, but the overall experience can be hit or miss. While the store is well-stocked, the outside seating area is consistently dirty, tables are rarely wiped down, and trash is often left around. It really takes away from the atmosphere. On top of that, I’ve encountered some really disruptive individuals inside the store on multiple occasions. It can feel uncomfortable. For the prices you pay here, you’d expect a cleaner and more peaceful shopping environment.

Google
I love this Whole Foods location! They offer a great variety of fresh lunch and dinner options, making it super convenient no matter what time you visit. The store is always clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best things about this place is that even late at night, they still have plenty of fresh salads and different meats ready to go. Their fresh fish and green salads are my favourites, always fresh, tasty, and high quality. Highly recommend!

There was perfect almond croissants, but now it’s worse croissants ever. It's not even puff pastry, It tastes more like bagels. I think you need to change the baker.

Avoid this store’s Too Good To Go bags This store’s Prepared Foods Too Good To Go bags are not worth it. I paid $9.99 and got only three small boxes: two vegetables and one noodles. Both vegetable boxes already had 50% off stickers on them, and they were clearly not fresh. This store is basically using TGTG to dump old items that they couldn’t sell. If you are expecting value or decent food, avoid this location

Today I bought 16 pieces of filleted branzino and paid $126 for them. He cut it I waited 40 min. When I got home and started cleaning out the bones, I was shocked the fillets were completely mangled and unevenly cut. I’m writing this comment because your staff might not realize it, but they need proper training. I’m a chef, and even a trainee chef wouldn’t fillet fish this poorly. This is an expensive market, and for the price we pay, we expect quality service.

Google
This Hollywood Hills location feels more like a local hometown market to those who live here. If you’re fortunate enough to live close by, it is definitely walkable but when I drive, I always find a parking spot because people are always coming and going!! Whoever does the hiring does a great job because the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about where to find specialty items!

Yelp
This is my go to Whole Foods my home location! I always find a reason to stop by, whether it's for groceries, a quick bite, or my current obsession: their iced matcha latte I personally like to add the berries chantilly syrup for a little extra razzle dazzle, and it never disappoints. The price point and quality are unmatched, and it's become my favorite little treat after Pilates or whenever I need a mid-day pick-me-up. Staff is always kind, the store is clean, and the overall vibe is refreshing every time.

Yelp
They need to rotate the people working at the customer service counter because their current customer service team really sucks. Today was my first time ordering grocery items for pick up at Whole Foods. I ordered four 6 packs of tasty bite Indian food. That's 24 individual packs. Tell me why when I show up for pick up they handed me 4 individual packs of tasty bite. At first the employees were baseline (barely) nice and polite, but when I pointed out that I was given the wrong item, they simply said we don't have your item in stock so we had to switch it. Number one, I specifically indicated in the app that I didn't want any substitutions. So why am I even here? Number two, in what world do you think it's appropriate to substitute four 6 packs with 4 singles? They just looked at me with a blank stare, very much giving "This is not my problem" like it was completely appropriate to give me four packs of food when I bought 24. I pointed out that even if they did do a substitution, they're handing me four single packs and I purchased 24. They looked at me like I was annoying and just repeated they don't sell six packs so they had to substitute. What really turned me off about this whole thing was the shitty interaction with Customer Service. I can understand a website glitch, but they were basically acting like this was somehow my fault. I wasn't even being rude, I was just trying to understand how this can happen and what the rational behind giving me 4 singles was. They treated me like I was an idiot because I didn't understand they didn't have the six packs in stock. I was trying to return them because obviously I don't want this, and after a bunch of back-and-forth when none of us could figure out how to get the item returned in the app, I finally asked for the manager. The lady at Customer Service quickly told me the manager wouldn't know how to do a return in the app. I was really just done with this whole scenario and wanted to get out of there so I asked for the manager anyways. Manager shows up, she was super nice, helped me figure out how to return the items in the app in about 30 seconds and I was out of there. Briefly acknowledges, yeah, it's weird you were handed 4 singles when you were expecting 24. Look, I know the employees are not in control of Whole Foods stock. I also understand they are not control of whether or not items sold on the website are actually in their store. What you are responsible for is showing bare minimum curtesy and situational awareness. Obviously if you're handing me 4 pouches and I ordered 24, I'm going to be confused. Repeatedly saying you don't have the 6 packs in stock like handing me 4 singles is completely acceptable is weird. It would've taken about 20 seconds worth of energy to say " I understand four individual packs when you order 24 isn't right and I'm sorry for the mixup." How you can have such wildly unhelpful people at a customer service desk is beyond me!

Yelp
i always have a wholesome experience here, no pun intended. they have a self-serve water dispenser that offers alkaline water. i like to grab my 5 gallon jug here when im running low. even though I feel like water should be free... they're priced pretty fair. there's never a line, the only hassle is carrying it back to your vehicle.

Yelp
A large well-stocked Whole Foods with a variety of fresh options, from seafood, sandwiches, meat, desserts, to cheeses. While this location didn't have all of the basics on our lists that we were looking for, it still had a great variety of options. Team members were incredibly helpful as well and pointed us in the right direction for a few items. The store was clean and organized, some products had great deals, and it was quite easy to go through self check-out even if the Amazon check-out through the app wasn't always the easiest to deal with.

Yelp
Stopped in for groceries and a quick lunch. Parking was easy and plentiful, there is also another lot they use nearby. We were greeted immediately at the deli counter and our order was started immediately. The chipotle chicken sandwich was made perfectly and accurately. I also grabbed a slice of pizza, and went with whichever one looked the freshest. This time it happened to be a caramelized onion and mushroom pizza, and it was awesome. All in all the store was clean, we were able to grab what we needed and the employees were friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to come to this location again.

Chanel C.

Yelp
I had a horrible experience at the sandwich area I waited 5-7 min before anyone came to me , it looked closed I asked a worker in the area and they assured me it was not so I stayed to wait for my favorite sandwich the ttla once I was finally serviced the lady threw a sandwich together like everyone and everything was an inconvenience muttering her words and dragging her feet! I asked for mustard she gave me the hugest amount it was unimaginable ,she didn't ask me what I wanted instead threw things together as I asked her to please use normal tomato and not grilled ( like the description of the sandwich says ) I was meet with an eye roll ...and a yes the sandwich she made looks very sloppy and not neat I still payed for it and will be disappointed because I can't enjoy my sandwich now how I wanted to this left a bad taste in my mouth

Yelp
Ouch this hurts but I have no choice. This place went from 5 stars to yuck I won't come here again for sandwiches. So the staff looks completely different and they claim they had policy changes and cut backs and boy does it show! The deli literally looks so empty as if we were in the middle of a pandemic . The food has not been tasting fresh and the service is beyond subpar. The girl that served me only cared about flirting with another employee in the hot food area and I was definitely third wheeling throughout the whole process. Since every sandwich that I wanted like tuna or chicken salad etc was non existent by 1 pm I ordered a meatball sandwich that I have gotten too many times to count. The girl flipped out, insisted you could never order anything other than a few sandwiches that were listed, which is just not the policy for the last three years that I've been coming here. They have always said that you can get whatever is in the deli section, which is where the tuna and the chicken salad are even though they are not on the menu. I was going to get the chicken scallopini from the hot bar when I noticed there were long black hairs literally sitting on top of the chicken pieces baking into the mozzarella. So I ordered the scallopini piece that was cold in the deli for the sandwich and again she flipped out. So she put my bread and cheese into toaster oven and she left to call her manager and after waiting forever I asked another worker to remove my item from the oven so my bread didn't burn. The girl came back and told me my bread and cheese could stay in the hot toaster oven that was on and never burn which is just bat shit crazy. A man came out and confirmed that I could indeed get those sandwiches and that she was new. I then went through the slow process of having her make one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had from this facility and I just canceled the second one and left. I did call the supervisor of the store afterwards to let her know what a disappointment it was so I don't know if they're gonna do anything about it but she basically said that there's been a lot of mandated changes placed on their store so I don't think this place is going to recover. Look at the empty shelves in my photo. This place is charging top dollar and is a hot mess.
google avatar

Erica B.

Yelp
The store should hire people that like doing what they do. Saw some old shrimps on the very top left part of the shelf and thought "that's weird". So I bought calamari and crab cakes to make for lunch instead. I got home and cooked them both. They had the funkiest smell ever. The calamari turned pink with the heat. Which meant they were full of batteries. Almost poisoned myself with these. What is happening to you Whole Foods?!!!
google avatar

Raegan N.

Yelp
I like this whole food because of the location. Parking is a little tricky sometimes if you go during the busy times. Well stocked with very fresh produce. A lot of healthy options all around with some fun specialty items. Prices are exorbitant. The majority of the employees are not very helpful and seem to have an attitude. It's very clean and well organized. I wish they would put more items on sale.

Yelp
I stop by Whole Foods from time to time for a quick bite -- usually grab a slice of pizza, some sushi rolls, or something from the salad bar. It's a convenient option when you're in a hurry, and the quality is generally solid. Great for a casual lunch or snack on the go!

Yelp
There's a lot to like about this supermarket, with organic groceries and a terrific prepared foods section. It also has a nice looking crowd because it's WeHo and people from the local gyms seem to hang out here. Whole Foods has changed a lot since they were bought out by Amazon, but the quality of the food is still excellent. And if you have Amazon Prime you can get good prices on some items. You just have to bring up the app and scan the QR code when you check out. They make fresh boxed sushi here and they have excellent food to go. Amazing breakfast burritos if you get here early before 10am. There are tables outside and cutlery available if you want to eat right away. They have an outstanding cheese selection. Great vitamin & supplements aisle and of course organic foods. There is also a really fun Russian bakery next-door if you want to get something a little less healthy. It never seems to be too crowded at this location (except in the parking lot) and there's easy self check out. The checkout staff are also very nice and chill. This is also the location where you can return items that you purchased on Amazon for free and it's super convenient. You just drop your item off at the counter on the left / west side of the store near the entrance. They will scan it and your return is all done. The one thing I really don't like about this location is their parking lot. It's free and pretty big but it's notorious for being crowded and hard to park in. You will usually find a spot, but it's just very tight. I think it has even been in some TikTok videos. Watch where you park your nice car because you may get side swiped or door dinged. I always go for the spots at the back near the wall. If you want a grocery store with healthy options, a chill West Hollywood vibe and some cute fit customers, this is a good place to visit!

finicky b.

Yelp
This is place is the worst. No one picks up the phone. Sal, the manager, can't be bothered to do his job. Terribly run place. That's why they are so poorly rated.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a terrible experience at this Whole foods location. They had three security and the shortest stocky guy decided to follow me around in the store. Then as I was checking out he pretended to throw something out in the garbage next to me and got really close and invaded my personal space. I believe he was trying to intentionally make me feel uncomfortable. He made sure to stare me down as I left to intimidate me. I felt very uncomfortable and creeped out. This is discrimination. I will file a lawsuit if this happens again.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Whole Foods has gotten worse by the minute. No longer selling bulk mushrooms. Everything comes in plastic and it's now hard to find organic anything in the store. It has become a glorified regular grocery store that fools people who think that you can just shop in Whole Foods and everything is healthy. It is not. Their salad bar and their hot bar is full of canola oil and seed oils and they blend about four different oils in each ingredient. They're baked goods come with extra ingredients that are not even necessary. It definitely has become a rotten grocery store and we need a new grocery store to take over. That really is healthy. Can't wait for that to happen!

Yelp
I was going to start by saying this location has really gone down hill but the low average rating tells me that's not news. What I will add is that you may want to avoid the deli department. Earlier today, there was a refrigeration worker changing filters in the deli case that was filled with "freshly prepared" food. His entire upper body was inside the case. No mask. No gloves. His sleeves were rubbing against the bowls filled with food. I pointed this out to the only deli worker who was working the counter and he shrugged and turned his back. I stopped by the customer service desk but there was no one staffing it at 11am on a Monday. I did call the customer service line and got a helpful agent but I wasn't sure she fully understood what I was describing based on her responses. I asked to have someone from the store call me back but haven't heard anything yet. I wish I had been thinking quickly enough to get pics or video of this. At this point, given all the other issues with WF, I'm going to change things up and try Ralph's and Bristol Farms again. Maybe Sprouts.

Connor D.

Yelp
If the hot bar hours are until 7:30, then change the posted hours. Went in at 7:30 and told they were closed with a sign in my face stating 8:00. I understand 10 minutes before you close... but 30?!

Traveler C.

Yelp
It's unfortunately that both the deli bar as well as the fruit smoothie bar have so much potential but their customer service is such a deterrent. Time and again I've tried both, giving them "another chance" only to be disappointed yet again with such poor customer service, particularly the ladies in the smoothie bar (not one has been either polite, professional or consistent with their service), they are incredibly abrasive and absolutely not interested in servicing customers; someone needs to remind them that a smile goes a long way. The tall heavier set gentleman has been the only good representative at the juice bar. Unfortunately.

Yelp
I'm torn because I like Whole Foods but it's also Amazon. I can never give it all five stars. This one is sad though, I feel like I have to give them extra credit because for whatever reason the cops are always here on top of armed security. As much as they can be armed these days. I don't know what goes on in this part of West Hollywood but it's a danger zone as early as 9 in the morning where I'm profiled just to park my car. That's fine, I don't have anything but poop bags to my name in my vehicle, but it does kinda mess with the vibe of the whole store. Employees have to deal with whatever's happening here. I'm guessing theft. Why this area I do not know. Must be bleeding over from the streets of Hollywood. In any case everything else here is normal including high prices that magically get lowered with an Amazon account. The customer service is fine. The police are nice too. Eh. I'll still go here.
google avatar

Persephone G.

Yelp
The quality of produce at not just Whole Foods but seemingly all grocery stores in LA has continually declined, I've gotten home with completely inedible mangos, peaches, and other fruits that go from unripe to rotten instantaneously. Fortunately I've found a great CSA so I will no longer have to rely on grocery outlets for my products, but I've wasted so much money that I don't have time to chase down refunds for. Sooooo disappointing!!! Just bought these peaches yesterday, they weren't quite ripe. Today, I cut them despite them still being a bit hard. Completely dry and brown.
google avatar

GiGi D.

Yelp
Absolutely love this Whole Foods for their prepared food section! Everything I buy (typically the paleo salmon, is 10/10!)

Eddy S.

Yelp
WORST PARKING LOT IN LOS ANGELES!!!!! Avoid this Whole Foods if you are in your car. The parking is horrendous and your car will be damaged parking here.

Maxine M.

Yelp
whole foods hot bar used to feel kinda special but now it's just mid as hell. every time i go it's the same exact stuff -- dry ass chicken, plain rice, soggy kale, and some weird tofu thing that nobody touches. like how hard is it to switch it up a little? the pizza looks like it's been sittin out since lunch and it's already dinner. crust be hard as a rock and the cheese don't even melt right. salad bar's no better. it's just lettuce, cucumbers, and sad little toppings that taste like fridge. where's the good stuff? no fun cheeses, no bold dressings, no flavor. if u want protein it's just dry chicken or that sketchy tuna thing that smells kinda off. feels like they just don't care anymore. it's also stupid expensive. like i shouldn't be payin $18 for a scoop of rice, two pieces of dry chicken, and a limp ass slice of pizza. whole foods be thinkin they a restaurant but it's givin high school lunch with a fancy sign. only reason i'm not givin 1 star is cuz the place is clean and they got decent cookies. but honestly? they need to try harder. i'm tired of wastin my money on food that don't even slap. 2 stars. barely.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
This is an older location and nowhere near as nice as the other ones in the area. They do still carry all the staples at Whole Foods, just without the nice ambience. There is a large free parking lot out front, but the store does get quite busy. Will do in a pinch, but I'd rather drive a few miles to the next location.

Yelp
Went in this am for plant medicine this am and decided to get some coffee while I was in .. the pics & latte art drew me in .. strawberries & white mocha seemed tempting .. (purchased ) my drink was wrong though probably my fault as I didn't know it came in both chocolates . The staff is friendly . Just not sure if my drink is actually with oat milk now .. so I can't finish it but it taste overall cool not to sweet
google avatar

Khloë G.

Yelp
A security guard approached me while I was looking for my lunch because he saw i was holding an ebt card when entering the store. Asked me if I was going to be stealing or if I had money on my ebt card. This was extremely offensive.. I've literally only been in this Whole Foods one other time.. which was yesterday. I have no reason to come back if this is how I will be treated. I payed for my food and left. During my time shopping, I had three security guards following me around the store. It was super uncomfortable. I will not be returning to this Whole Foods. The security are jerks and look down on poor people. No reason to give my business here... the Bristol farms has never treated me this way and is less than a minute drive from here, I'll take my business there. Management needs to do something about the security here. Especially the tall black man with the thick accent, as he was the one who approached me and accused me of being there to steal. Extremely offensive, no one should be judged for buying their food with ebt. And especially someone who literally has only been here one time before this (yesterday).. I payed for my food and left. Came back today and now I'm accused of being there to steal? Bizarre.. management seriously needs to do something about him

Nick M.

Yelp
Whole Foods at almost 9 doesn't have anything but cold veggies and breakfast sandwiches in the hot bar vs the other Whole Foods already ready to go by that time . Energy at place overall soso
google avatar

D E.

Yelp
Why do we shop here? The service is non existent the food mediocre at best this location is in a dirty old shopping center across from the grove and is reflected by the quality inside the store. Erwheon might be more expensive but I can always eat what I buy there and not throw it in the trash!!o

Yelp
This place is great for produce and fruits varieties and it's super clean very friendly staff. Parking is free on site

Yelp
It's eerie how our priorities have shifted since pandemic hit the whole wide world... tbh I've only been shopping at WF, Costco or TJ's because they have the best safe measures implemented in store. And I have to say, today's stop at this WF WeHo just made me so happy and comforted to see WF employees not just wiping down carts and baskets with wipes BUT literally hosing it down to disinfect! That was a strangely comforting sight especially as California numbers of infected keep rising.... so, 100 stars just for doing what it takes for ALL our safety! And 100% of the shoppers at this location respectfully and politely practice physical distancing. Usually at other stores, I've had to step away at least 1/3 of the time 'coz someone invariably tend to just grab off the shelf behind or next to me, totally ignoring 6ft distancing. Also, I had to wait in line around 15mins on a late afternoon @5pm to get in the store. Thank you WF WeHo for monitoring number of shoppers in the store and keeping us all as safe as possible. This will be my new WF place to shop weekly.
google avatar

Rick M.

Yelp
I come in to grab breakfast, specifically your bacon burrito. The last few times, there are no burritos, they've been replaced with a wrap. Ok, same difference, right? Wrong! These are almost inedible. Can you go back to the burrito please?!

Robin L.

Yelp
The Hotbar at this location offered cooked food (hotbar) as well as salad bar. Order: rice and cooked green beans and in lack of any gravy, a little mushroom soup . 2. A mix out of beans and rice with some chicken . From the salad bar a box with mixed greens , some mushrooms cheese and ranch dressing . Weight : 1.36, 1.88, 2.05 lbs at 11.99 lbs. Total for 2 meals I would call small and a salad $ 67.00 The quality was ok exept the beans , cooked as fresh aldentte but dry and left below the heat lamp for houres. How ever ,almost $70 for food from a bar in a grocery store , really? Dear managing team , you do not have a restaurant nor the name for that. I will not return to this location simply because the business over priced and don't worry about it. Over the years even the big cooperations learn , I have seen it many times .
google avatar

Yelp
This location has been a mess since Amazon took over. Most of the check-outs are self-serve. The employees aren't very helpful. If you're looking to make an Amazon Return, good luck. I've come on two different days and was greeted with an empty returns littered with signs saying "Amazon returns down."

Alex V.

Yelp
My favorite wholefoods ever. They always have great produce and customer service here. The seasons are my favorite time to shop because I get they have unique plants and goods.
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
This location really bums me out. Had a few things delivered because I have the flu and wow, I had to do a double take on the quality of the produce. "Did I get these groceries at the dollar store?" I half asked myself?!? Whoever is in charge of quality inspection of the produce should have a second looking into. Feels pretty terrible to pay $9 for a bag of organic grapes to only get half a bowl of good ones. I get that grapes can be an unpredictable bunch but one simple glance at this bag and maybe don't set it out for sale at your premiere organic grocery store? Cobwebs on the grapes, mold, slime, rotted away holes in tons of them. It becomes an episode of Fear Factor to even stick your hand back in the bag to search for maybe just one more good one. Red delicious apples...organic....I bought 6 of those and 4 of them had some gross brown death marbling throughout that made the apples bitter. If I wanted risky produce, I wouldn't spend my "Whole" paycheck. Pizza bar. I ate the hardest slice of pizza perhaps in the history of mankind here. This location is hurting for better leadership.
google avatar

Robert W.

Yelp
I know Whole Foods probably has no control over this - but the parking spaces are so so tight. If there is a way to repaint and widen them - that would be a game changer.
google avatar

Emilie G.

Yelp
I hate this location so much. They dont have anything and the people that work here are rude. The fish has worms. And 1/2 the stuff is expired. Came here with 5min to closing they wouldn't let me in to grab milk for my coffee tomorrow morning. What kind of bs is that. I only come here when I'm desperate, but at this point I'm just never coming here again. They should close this location down, they make all the Wholefoods look bad.
google avatar

Jeremiah C.

Yelp
"Disappointed" is an understatement. In the space of 1.5 weeks, I went there four times for an Amazon return. Every single time it was "down." This is not the first time I've ran into this issue at this location. I ended up going to the 3rd & Fairfax location instead since my deadline for the return was quickly approaching. Whoever creates the schedules needs to learn how to do so effectively.
google avatar

Christopher W.

Yelp
Its a perfectly good store, smaller than the one at Fairfax & 3rd but adequate selection of everything however the bathrooms at this one are AWFUL ! Surprising compared to the rest of the store & they should do something about it not just actually cleaning them but remodeling them cause they aren't good.

Yelp
Another Whole Foods in Beverly Hills wouldn't exchange my bread because I had lost my receipt, and didn't even try to help me. But this Whole Foods just had me tap my phone on the debt card pad and the savvy customer service cashier looked up my transaction from the Beverly Hills Whole Foods and reprinted my receipt and exchanged my Better Buns bread. She didn't give me a hard time about not having a receipt. I'm thankful!!!

Yelp
They wouldn't let me order a smoothie that had bananas in it because they were out of bananas, even though they were selling ripe bananas at the counter where you order smoothies. And in general, they seem really understaffed.

Yelp
enough parking lots :) only 1fl large Whole Foods supermarket. before noon, (around 11am) not so crowded at all. No judgment vibe! I love to shop here. I highly recommend.

Yelp
So I purchased this food for my dog and unfortunately it did not sit well with him. Now at the time of my purchase he had a little bit of kibble left in which it took a week to finish. I'm A busy lady and will I admit I LOST the receipt , but this 20 something food could not be returned without, it made him sick and waste of money!

Yelp
The cafe/bakery area is the worst. I live nearby and every time I've had awful service. The management just throws employees with no experience into the cafe position - and if the employees have experience, they all have negative attitudes (probably bc of awful management). Today the barista told me they couldn't do an iced latte lol and then a coworker came over to inform her what an iced latte is. She ended up giving me an iced coffee instead. I told her "no, that's not a latte" and the other coworker came back to help her...20min later I got an iced latte with mostly ice. Also, I asked for decaf and I can tell this isn't decaf. I'm starting to feel dizzy and unwell. I have to work feeling awful now. This poor experience has literally affected my health.

Yelp
Cashiers are always on their phones! Stood there holding my money for ten seconds while the girl was texting someone.

Yelp
This location has decent service but the bananas are really close to the see food so they have a really weird funky smell to them .

Yelp
Wow! Whole Foods customer service has really gone downhill! I called 9x and one time I just stayed on the phone while an automated person came on asking which department. I switched to 10 departments and not one person has answered! I'm in disbelief! All I wanted was a cake! I'm coming from Temecula and wanted to see if they have a cake for 10 people! I will take my mo way somewhere else! Complete BS!! The manager wouldn't even answer after I had called the meat department asking to be transferred to the manager who did answer and was extremely rude! 16 min on the phone waiting!! See pics! The Whole Foods in Lakewood (Long Beach) didn't answer either! Done with Whole Foods. The last time I stepped into a Whole Foods, the employees did not care to help and gave me the run around. Done with you guys!

Yelp
Seriously concerned about food safety at this store. My mom went there and purchased 1.5 lbs of ground chicken from the meat department. When she was handed it she noticed the color was off, a greenish-yellow. She unwrapped it to smell it and sure enough it smelled rotten. She notified the employee at the meat counter of the issue but unread of addressing her concern he began yelling at her for smelling it. Can you imagine? The store sells rotten food but god forbid you queuing them about it! Shameful especially when you're charging premium prices!! The department of health should investigate!!
