Who's Got Soul was voted as one of the best soul food restaurants in metro Atlanta, according to a recent AJC article. I think for the most part, they live up to that standard. Favorite menu items include turkey wings, collard greens, yams, baked chicken, pork chops, and their corn bread. Pretty much everything I've had here has been good, and the quantity matches or exceeds the price. They even recently remodeled and slightly expanded the interior. I do like how most of the food is already made, so even if there is a long line, you still receive your food in a timely manner.
My wish is for the improvement on service. It can vary, and staff appear to have changed frequently over the years we have been here. And tonight when we dined, they close at 9 pm, but they were selling out of a lot of foods by 8 pm. However, when a customer tried to eat in the dining area around 8:15 pm, they said the lobby area was closed. When we were still eating, they were already cleaning up the dining area and putting up chairs. When we left at 8:30 pm, they closed the main gate in the front, making the restaurant appear closed altogether. I just think if you close at 9 pm, you should close at 9 pm.
Parking can be tricky during busy hours (especially Sunday afternoons). They have a parking space, but it is very limited, so sometimes people park illegally on the street to the right. Overall, this place is close to home and they have pretty good soul food, so we will see them again.
