"In a burger boxing match between Broiler Bay Burgers and Wibbley’s, Broiler Bay would win, but Wibbley’s would probably deliver a game-changing sucker punch and be respected by all. This is more of a sit-down spot, with delicious charbroiled burgers that range from classics topped with American cheese to creations with blue cheese and bacon or green chiles and pepper jack. Wash your meal down with a milkshake and an order of fries for good measure." - Aimee Rizzo

This place is definitely a hidden gem. The service is very friendly and the food comes out fast. The burgers are juicy and well put together. My favorite so far is the mushroom burger. The fries are also outstanding. The menu is a little pricey but well worth it.

We don't eat out much anymore but we wanted a good burger and fries, this place did not disappoint!! I had the BBQ burger and my husband had the bacon burger, and we shared fries and fried mushrooms. It was all delicious! We will be trying the other menu items in the future too.

Had a wonderful first time experience dining in for my lunch break. I had the chicken sandwich and added cheddar cheese. I was having trouble deciding and the server was kind enough to offer all sorts of customizable options. My sandwich and beer battered onion rings were delicious (the batter was a bit bland tasting/no salt) but the dipping sauces made up for it. The chicken was not rubbery or over cooked. Nice ambiance for a quick work lunch. My friend loved their burger with fries but said the fries were also lacking salt. Their milkshake was very good and thick. Will definitely be coming back. I’ve driven by this spot every day for nearly 10 years and I can’t believe I barely tried it. Don’t be an idiot like me!! 😹

If you’re looking for a satisfying burger in a welcoming atmosphere, Whibbley’s should be at the top of your list. A mainstay since 1992, it has earned a reputation for consistently good food that keeps locals and newcomers coming back for more. The burgers stand out for their juicy patties and fresh toppings, leaving you full and happy without breaking the bank. Beyond the excellent food, the friendly staff goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Whibbley’s has been a go-to spot in the area for decades—and with such reliable quality and service, it’s easy to see why.

This is my number 1 favorite place to eat when I'm in town. The service is always amazing, and the burgers are the best around. I recommend the garlic parmesan fries and the fried mushrooms. The pastrami burger is fantastic, but you also can't go wrong with a classic bacon cheeseburger.

Google
Freshly cooked "home style" burgers with a nice cozy atmosphere. You can't go wrong with any of the burger choices or the side dishes like the beer battered onion rings and French fries. I highly recommend eating at the store to have the best experience since the burgers tastes best when it's freshly made. The milkshake is also excellent without feeling too sugary, watery, or too thick. The employees are always nice and friendly. One of the best hangout spot with the boys hanging out and having a fun time chatting

Excellent East Side option for burgers and beer. Great meat and burger options, with Impossible Burger for vegetarians. Local beer options on tap. Small but cozy environment.

Google
Fantastic little place! Service is top notch!address you right as you walk in and quick to help you out. Awesome menu with good variety as well! First time here, didn't realize how close to my work it was! Got a cheeseburger with fries and onion rings for a first visit. Really liked the burger. Brought me back to one of those 4th of July friends BBQ party moments. Fries were good but could use a little more crisp. Onion rings were good.

Yelp
Small restaurant but amazing food The sitting area is pretty small and I noticed many people got food to go. Burgers were juicy, flavorful, and delicious.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Wibbley's on a random Saturday afternoon after searching for a burger place in Bellevue on Yelp. Let me start by saying the customer service is 10/10. The two Ladies at the front were so nice. They were helpful with any questions you had. They went above and beyond offering waters, suggesting combos etc. We ordered a Mushroom Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and a Vanilla Shake. The onion rings were outstanding. They were crispy and hot without being too greasy. Delicious! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger which was decent but a little cold. I've had better burgers and I've certainly had worse. I would order it again despite the fact it was a little cold. I will say the shredded romaine lettuce is something you don't normally see on a burger and I'm not sure I was a fan. Next time I'll probably order without lettuce. My dining partner had the Mushroom Burger which he said was great! He really loved the mushrooms. We finished our meal with a Vanilla Shake which was basic and delicious. While not the best burger I've ever had, they do put up a decent burger. We would go back again.

Yelp
Discovered this hidden gem after a dental appointment (ironic, I know - straight from 'open wide' to 'nom nom'). Let me tell you about their Beyond Burger, which is basically a plant-based party in your mouth. And hold onto your taste buds, folks - they've cracked the holy grail by offering BLU CHEESE as a topping! angels singing. While other places are still living in the processed cheese dark ages, this spot's living in 3023. I've made it my mission to return 2-3 times (you know, for scientific research purposes ), and zero disappointments were found in the making of this review. Sure, it's one of those number-on-a-stick, we'll-find-you places, but that just adds to its unpretentious charm. Think of it as the cool, laid-back cousin of those flashy fast-food joints. Yes, Mickey D's and the Burger King might be cheaper, but sometimes you gotta treat your taste buds to a proper burger education. Is it pricier than the drive-thru classics? Yup. But so is a BMW compared to a unicycle and I know which one I'd rather ride. Quality over quarter-pounders, people!

Brian C.

Yelp
Been a few years since I've been back to Wibbley's tried it today and it's a decent burger and tried the garlic fries pretty good. Not my favorite of all the good burger joints but they have a solid menu and good eats!

Lorita O.

Yelp
The hamburger at wibbleys is juicier and neat seems better than burger master. However burger master wins in onion rings and fries. Today the onions were cut too thick and The batter was undercooked. I should have taken them back. Rats. Still a great burger.

Marcus S.

Yelp
Came here for lunch after dropping my car off for servicing. I'd seen this place and wasn't even initially gonna do burgers, but nearby Rinconcito was slammed as usual for their lunch rush. Wibbleys, not quite as much. If dining in, a server will bring out your food. I appreciate that as well as soon as a table clears, a staff member will come over and thoroughly wipe down the table and clean off anything that may have been left behind. Now food, I went for my usual go-to Bacon Cheeseburger with some fries. My criticism starts at the patty being on the thinner side, not egregious but just not as beefy as a lot of other spots. However, the burger is good. Too many burgers' spots lack that char-grill flavor, Wibbleys has it down strong. The burger isn't overloaded with filling either and holds together well. The lettuce and tomato didn't overtake the burger and complimented it. I forgot to tell them to hold the pickles though, bummer. Fries were ok. Wibbleys is solid burger spot. Will try here again and maybe give one of their shakes a go.

Yelp
I was next door at the Mexican restaurant, but they wouldn't let me me make adjustments to an order, so I came here. This place has been on my list for a while, but I'm on a keto, so would rather try this place when I can eat the full burger as is. I got the South of the Border burger without the bun. They don't do "lettuce-wrapped" since they use shredded lettuce, so it was a burger on a "bed of lettuce." I added caramelized onions for an addition $0.75. It was really good, even for not being a full burger. Definitely want to come back when I'm off my keto diet, so I can try it as a normal burger and also try some sides.

Esther L.

Yelp
Wandered upon this place since we were originally going to go to another restaurant in the plaza that was really empty. The different burger offerings were really interesting and we tried a Century Burger and a South of the Border. Both were really tasty and the sweet potato fries were also nice and crispy. Loved trying alfalfa clover sprouts and blue cheese together in a burger. The restaurant closed earlier than we expected but the waiters didn't rush us which we appreciated.

Matt M.

Yelp
Great food, friendly and helpful service. Great chicken sandwichs and burgers. Quiet friendly ambiance.

Tory M.

Yelp
YUM!! Been going to Wibbley's for many years! Staff...wonderful! Burgers...always fresh and full of flavor! Onion rings...THE BEST! Thanks Wibbley's

Claudia C.

Yelp
Nothing to special about this place but a pretty decent burger joint. Honestly I'm surprised this place has lasted for so long because it's just a simple burger joint. I decided to try out this place for dinner, since id never gotten the chance to try it and always passed by. We came at around 7:30pm and it wasn't busy at all. We ordered our food for takeout, though they have indoor seating. The place was super clean and they had a lot of seats, It was set up pretty similar to a fast food place, but for eat in the workers bring the food to you. The price was pretty good for the portions, but definitely pricer then fast food. We ordered 3 burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, and a chocolate shake. The shake was okay, nothing special as well as the burgers being fine, though the bacon cheeseburger was actually pretty good and the best out of the 3. For the price and given quality I thought it was a little high knowing it's no different than classic fast food. But for the fries the basic fries were okay, but the sweet potato fries were exceptional. They were super crispy and had an amazing sweet flavor, both fries lacked salt though. Overall this place is nothing special and I probably wouldn't be back for burgers in particular, but know its a fine choice if nearby.

Yelp
I've been coming here since the 90s, and maybe it's the nostalgia, but the burgers still hit the spot. Feels like one of those places that retains its authenticity with no frills. Just went this past weekend and got the South of the Border burger. Great flavors and interesting how the green chile pepper is laid out flat instead of in smaller pieces. Fries and dipping sauce were great additions!

Joe S.

Yelp
Love this place! Great menu lots of choices. My favorite is the bbq burger and a pound of fries. Food is always good and especially the friendly employees.

Lizzy L.

Yelp
Delicious charbroiled burgers in a no-frills diner-like restaurant! The prices are fair and the food is amazing! Onion rings are cooked to perfection and I love the Onion and So-Cal burgers. Also recommend the milkshakes here! Service was great and the staff was friendly! Quick service too!

Tatyana S.

Yelp
What an amazing establishment! Very friendly service, quick wait time, clean tables and the food was delicious! Shakes were thick and flavorful and the burgers were some of the best we've had. Fresh cut fries with big servings. Definitely coming back!!!

Jonathan C.

Yelp
We had the So Cal burgers and enjoyed the large patty and abundance of fresh veggies. The guac was goopy and sour, like it was from a bag and not fresh. Soggy parmesan fries were not drained and just dumped in a paper bag. There was a pool of grease at the bottom. I came back to try the fish and chips. The fries were in a tray this time and tasted fine. The crust was fried to a dark brown and one of the pieces was 20% empty crust. The fish was juicy and fresh. I will only come back for the burgers. Service was efficient with zero smiles. Parking is easy in the huge lot.

Eric K.

Yelp
Great tasting, fresh burgers, and perfectly cooked onion rings. Friendly service, good prices.

Michael X.

Yelp
Wibbley's a definitely a good place to swing by if you are looking for some affordable burgers and milkshakes! We swung by on a Friday around 6:45pm, placed our orders and seated ourselves. I got the Wibbley's Burger and a Vanilla Milkshake, which I'll review below: Wibbley's Burger ($7.39): This was a good burger, the patty had good consistency and the sauce was tasty. Although, it did come out a bit colder than what I would've liked - our group also ordered a chicken burger which probably took longer to make, so I'm assuming they first made the beef burgers and then the chicken one, causing the beef ones to sit for a bit. Vanilla Milkshake ($4.59): I liked this Milkshake! The milkshake was creamy and the consistency was really thick - the flavor was also really rich and overall just a delicious drink! The shake came out pretty fast, about 5 minutes after we sat down. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Wibbley's - the food was delicious and at a good price! Only wished that the burger ordered was a bit hotter, but in the end - I would definitely come back to try the other options!

Carson C.

Yelp
Absolute legendary burger spot. Their milkshakes and sides are killer. Really best burger place in the area.

Cindy C.

Yelp
I was having tacos for lunch and decided to grab some burgers and fries for our road trip. I tried an onion ring as soon as we received our order and they were amazing. Definitely get them. We didn't get to the burgers until they were cold but they were still delicious. We could definitely get that charred taste and the patty was seasoned perfectly. We'd love to go back and dine-in there. I loved the vibe of the place.

heather a.

Yelp
The burgers were really good especially the pastrami but the onion wasn't far behind. The service was excellent and the facility was very clean. The tartar was one of my favorites ever! The fish was lacking in flavor thats the reason for the 4 star.

Francisca B.

Yelp
So glad to have found this place. We were running errands in the area and my son was craving a burger. Based on the reviews and the photos people posted of this place, we decided to try it out. Had the So Cal burger and fries. My son had the Wibbley's ( double patty at request). The burgers are juicy and the bread is great. The fries are a nice companion and are good on their own (no condiments needed). Place is small but has a good vibe to it. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't even get a chance to photograph my good burger, since it was quickly eaten. I highly recommend this place and look forward to more visits in the future. My son is already planning our next visit. Keep up the good work!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Wholesome, charbroiled burger stop. Got the BBQ burger and it was one of the best I've ever had. You can't skip out on the fries. Only downside is that they only have 4-5 soda options and no other drink alternatives. A must-try if you are in the neighborhood.

Savvy12000 G.

Yelp
Lame. Had family from out of town, bragged about your place, checked online at 6:00pm...said open until 8:00. Drove out only to see closed sign. Super lame.

Dennis W.

Yelp
The menu is mercifully limited, and offers a good variety of choices to fit most tastes and dietary asks.

Meee R.

Yelp
I ordered a gluten-free bun on my burger and I've never had one here before so I didn't know what they look like or taste like. Halfway through the burger I realized there's no way this is gluten free bun because my stomach was on fire. Luckily this won't kill me but this is incredibly dangerous.

Jen L.

Yelp
Love their Parmesan garlic fries, so fragrant and the fries are perfectly crispy. The burgers are delicious. Bacon crispy. Meat is juicy not dry. Quick pick up service. Eat them promptly as the buns are soft and get mushy if you try it as a leftover. I appreciate that there wasn't an up charge to the price for online ordering (i think). My go to is the bacon cheeseburger as a standard. I really liked the onion burger with the caramelized onions it gave a nice sweetness. Mushroom is good too. The Cali and South of the Border are well balanced and Century could use a bit more blue cheese and the sprouts gets soggy fast. I wish they were open on Sundays! That's the day I really crave going there!! Please open on Sundays!

Wendy F.

Yelp
This is such a great place for a burger. Seating is limited so it definitely depends when you go. It was crowded when I got here but cleared out within a half hour. Anyhow ordered basic burger, fries and bottled water. Bill $14+.

Rachel C.

Yelp
Love, love, love! I swear this place has the best burgers! Im not one to love a burger but Wibbley's has turned me. Everything I have had here is amazing! Fresh ingredients, perfect size, not too big, not too small. Everything about their burgers is perfection. Defiantly my go to place for a burger in Bellevue.

Mo Y.

Yelp
I tried it today for the first time. Clean place and friendly service. The burgers were good overall. The fries and onion rings were freshly cooked and served. I definitely will stop by again if I am back in the area.

Lillian G.

Yelp
Always passed by this spot and had been wanting to try it. Their French fries are super good, made to order so they came out fresh! They had the option to substitute a chuck burger for an impossible burger for $3 fee (kinda high but plant based is kinda pricey) so I got the plant based patty on the BBQ burger. The burger it's self was decent, they cooked it medium well which for regular meat is fine but doesn't taste as good when it's a plant based patty. Those should always be cooked well. Great casual spot, lots of regulars and in a convenient spot. Easy to find parking , friendly service.

Mercy L.

Yelp
Plenty of burger & sandwich options. Had a great variety of sides as well, we ordered battered onion rings which were crispy & delicious. I absolutely love a good mushroom burger, and the one they had here was definitely a hit for me. So-Cal burger was tasty as well. Loved the vibe here, it was very welcoming & the staff here were friendly! Overall, food was good. Perfect place for a quick bite if you're in the area. Would definitely see myself coming here again.

Huong L.

Yelp
This is more of a 3.5 stars but I'm rounding it up because of services. We came here for late lunch after running and decided to try this place. They are in between fast food and gourmet burgers. They have some tables outside that you can sit and eat so we decided to do that instead of eating in our car. We got: Century burger: good burger, I like the alfalfa in there, the meat was super juicy, the bacon was a little too salty but has a nice crunch. Fried mushrooms: this is a debacle, I like that its super juicy inside, but I don't like the fact that the fried part is very separated, so when you take a bite, you get the whole mushroom and you have the casing left. Chicken tenders: these are actually super fresh, super crunchy, very flavorful. I like them a lot Garlic parmesan fries: it was ok, nothing really special, the fries weren't really crispy but not flimsy either. Espresso shake and raspberry shake - the raspberry shake was surprisingly good but both shakes were standard. Overall, all the food was good but there was nothing really special or stood out, however, the service was great. They brought our food out made sure we were ok, suggested different options, etc. Price was standard too.

Amanda B.

Yelp
Really great hamburgers and really great service! I got a gluten-free bacon cheeseburger and the bun was excellent. We had a group of 10 and our food came out pretty quickly, as well!

Kevin F.

Yelp
If you love burgers and a wide variety of ways to enjoy them, Wibbley's is just your kinda place. At least 12 different flavor ways to choose from, and not just hamburgers, but impossible choices, chicken, and fish. You can smell the deliciousness as you pull into a good size parking lot. Also a great variety of sides, milkshakes, and recently they've added local draft beers. After contemplating the choices for awhile, which the server was very patient and informative about, I chose the picante burger, a side of waffle cut sweet potato fries (something I hadn't experienced) , a vanilla milkshake, and a Kolsh draft (sorry I don't remember the name of the brewery), after a long walk around Lake Sammamish, I was famished, and with the ample portions, I still had plenty of fries to take home. Like many places, they also have options of fry sauces. A small place, but they use the seating well, cute decor throughout. The order was out quickly, even though they were busy on a mid afternoon. The picante burger was delicious! With pickled jalapeños ( not too hot) chipotle mayo, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato, all fresh and tasty! The waffle cut sweet potato fries were a yummy alternative to regular potatoes, the vanilla shake was creamy, full of vanilla flavor, and like the Kolsh beer, very refreshing on a sunny warm afternoon. I know, a odd combination for some, but always wanting to try as much as possible, it worked well for my sometimes odd tastes, lol. Enough shake leftover to enjoy on the drive home, definitely added another tasty burger joint to my list. Great place to stop in, when in the Bellevue area. Happy eating and Yelping! God bless and Cheers!

Ben M.

Yelp
Delicious burgers (especially pastrami burger), fries and onion rings. Fish and chips were good, but not my favorite.

Doctor D.

Yelp
I have visited the restaurant next to Wibbley's for years. They are so good I can never go past them. But in a moment of weakness for enjoying a French fry, I walked into Wibbley's. I did not know the restaurant has been in business for 30 years! After taking my first bite, I knew why! My son (So Cal) and I had (Cabo) both our burgers with chicken instead of beef. The chicken was super moist and tender. You could get the aroma of the flame grill. The bun was fresh and soft. And the host was very helpful and friendly. I added jalapeños to my burger (highly recommend if you like the zing). We also added a side salad (nothing out of the ordinary) and the holy grail of garlic Parmesan fries (both thick cut, yet crispy). One tip: Order the Wibbley's sauce.

Jimmy B.

Yelp
A local favorite for many years, Wibbley's delivers great tasting burgers consistently. Their new So-Cal Burger with pepper jack cheese and guacamole is fantastic. Located in a little strip mall just North of 520 (look for the Harley dealer nearby) it's easy to miss. There's usually plenty of parking out front or close by. Try it once and you'll be back.

Philip S.

Yelp
I have not been here for quite some time. So I decided after work to swing on by and try out their BBQ Burger, which I was craving for. Even though the looks of the burger seems somewhat big. However, once you bite through it the texture seems very soft and delicious. This includes the bun, the toppings and the patty. The patty was cooked just right (for me) by having a little pink in the middle meaning that it still had moist of its natural juiciness. Also noticing a slight taste of the BBQ sauce it self was just right and not over powering with sweetness. Well done guys! This meal really satisfied my hunger this evening. Would recommend this place if you are look for a good quality burger joint on the eastiside of Bellevue. I will be definitely coming back here.

Lonnie L.

Yelp
Always love coming in here to get a fresh burger for lunch. "T" is always very friendly.l! Food is great here and the service makes it taste better. Fantastic establishment and delicious food. Whenever I'm in the area this is my go to spot!! Get the Garlic fries

Steven S.

Yelp
We eat at Wibbleys regularly and we absolutely love it. The service and food are excellent. We highly recommend this burger joint to anyone who appreciates good, juicy delicious burgers and amazing onion rings and fries. They have sweet potato fries as well. Honorable Mention: their milkshakes are the bomb as well! We definitely are huge fans!

Cynthia W.

Yelp
Sweet surprise. Last minute decision to find an old fashioned hamburger joint led me here. No disappointments. The wibbley burger was just what I wanted and the onion rings had a light perfectly fried batter. I'll be back again whenever I'm in the area. The customer service was terrific too! Offered a cup of ice water while I waited and extra napkins for my to-go order.

Patrick K.

Yelp
A little pricey, but, delicious. I knew the price when ordering so I'm not criticizing just noting it seemed a little high for a burger joint. They are made to order and brought to you so that's nice. The Wimbley burger, garlic fries and small drink was just over $15. The burger was good. Close to great if it were a smidge thicker. Everything done right with fresh toppings, soft bun and cooked medium. Beef comes from local organically raised farms. The garlic fries were great. Plentiful portion, flavorful and hot. Staff is super friendly and service fast for being cooked to order. I know I said it is pricey but I'll also say it's a good quality value. I'll definitely be back.

Bryan S.

Yelp
Amazing burgers, fries, and shakes. Best around. The rest of the menu is fantastic as well.

Bryan C.

Yelp
I work nearby at a dental office, our staff used to get food there. I haven't been in about 6 months so I need to stop by again! Great staff, very friendly owner, and the burgers are VERY Satisfying. Their fried mushrooms and fries are great too. Nice and crispy, not too greasy and nice thin batter with lots of mushroom!

Summer O.

Yelp
Okay first off they have PURSE HOOKS! Thank you Wibbley's! They offer high top tables like many restaurants but this places is thoughtful enough to offer a purse hook! Thank you!!! Next, they're closed on Sundays! Good for them! I like when places take days off. Take a day off; family time and the sabbath are important. Third, the food. First time there and we'd go back. Takes a little time. They make it to each order. But the flavor was good. This is a semi-fast food join. Order as you enter. Everyone liked the malted root beer shake.

Terry S.

Yelp
Waited an hr for my to go order and it was wrong Yet again Gave them a second try and a fail yet again

Keri C.

Yelp
Dang this was good Had a cheeseburger and those garlic Parmesan fries ! Mmmmm mmmm good job that was so delish . Wish I would have taken a pic

Erin G.

Yelp
Just another small restaurant as you walk by, but you would be mistaken not to stop in and try their burgers. Well priced, nice staff and tasty burgers that are a fairly good size. A couple of different fry options and beverages to boot. I would compare these guys to Five Guy or Habit and just as good, if not better. Worth checking out and you might even see me there.
