Wicked Good Sandwiches

The Italian sandwich and it was seriously tasty great flavor all around. The fries on the side hit the spot too. The menu had plenty of good options, so I’ll definitely be back to try more. The vibe of the place was really nice, and the staff made me feel welcome. Overall, just a solid spot to eat and hang out.

For our Monday meeting this week, LOCAL fueled up with to-go from Wicked Good Sandwiches , a Clarksville staple since 2012. Our order? 2 Queen City steaks & Cheese (but with chicken, not steak) with cheese fries, 1 Lemon Pepper Pesto with onion rings, and 1 Turkey Pesto. Stop in and let them know LOCAL said hi when you visit!

Got the Pepparoni Rolls (egg rolls with mozzarella and pepparoni. Turkey Mushroom Melt was spot on. Will definitely be back to try other things. Heard the Sidewinders are Great. Will have them next time

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Service was great. Placed our order and food arrived quickly. We ordered Fried Mushrooms for an appetizer, and the College Street burger, and Southwest Chicken as our entrees. I had seen great reviews for the mushrooms and onion rings, so had to try them both. The mushrooms were ok. Other than the spicy dipping sauce, they were no different to the frozen fried mushrooms from Sam's. Onion rings were nothing spectacular, and only got 6 as a side to my sandwich. The burger was OK, nothing special. Honestly if it hadn't been for the Southwest Chicken, the whole meal would have been a loss. The jalapeños on the chicken were a great addition, really added something to the dish. Bottom line: it's probably more satisfying when you've had a few drinks and just need some bar food to balance out the alcohol in your system, but on a sober Saturday, it was lacking. And the portion sizes for the mushrooms and onion rings were not worth the cost, in my opinion. Won't be going back.

Not your average sandwich shop in town. Location doesn't look great but the food is consistently good. When you get tired of Jimmy John's, a Jersey Mike's and the other hundred cookie cutter sandwich places in town then go here. I haven't been disappointed with any of their food yet.

First time eating here. Stopped in to get food to go and had a beer while I waited. Nice friendly service. Cold beer and good food. They have a stage for live music and have trivia nights. Went on a Monday. Wasnt busy. Try their Green Monstah.

We’ve been eating here for little over 6 or 7 years now. What REALLY makes this place special, are the people. During the 2019-2020 “lock downs.” My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. Everywhere was closed, and no dining allowed. I set up the dining hall of our church (where I also worked as the Facility Technician) to look like a restaurant (while the church was closed). I set up a “reserved” table, fake movie theatre, the works. I informed my wife I had to run up to the church to check on something. I previously called WGS and asked if they could deliver our favorite meals to the church. They informed me of when they’ll be there and showed up on the dot. I had my wife distracted doing something. And snuck the food into the “restaurant” area. Setting the table up. Not only did they work with me through tons of changes, details, and hardships of the current global situation. They went above and beyond. Making it one of our most memorable anniversaries yet. The food is always amazing. The restaurant is such a fun and inviting place. There’s games, pool, air hockey, great people, great music, and so much more. Everything is priced far better than you’d expect. As in the food is worth more than what they charge. All around, we will always be back. The chicken buffalo wrap is where it’s at!

The food was fantastic, brought out in good time. Everything we tried was delicious! Quick service and the music was on point! Love that they offer live music and have trivia nights. Will definitely be coming back here!

I wanted to love this place - honestly. The vibe and atmosphere is so cool, very punk-diner vibes. The service was incredible, and that's why they're getting the rating they did! We would go back to try again on the food because the service was that good. The lunch missed the mark though. My husband ordered the Kickin Chicken Panino and it was definitely spicy to the point even his eyes were watering from the spice ...and he loves spicy! I ordered the Italian grinder and it missed the mark. The bread and the fries were both really tasty, but the sandwiches were unfortunately not up to par.

A great little spot in Clarksville. I stumbled upon it and while they were closing they were more than happy to make me a sandwich which was outstanding! Friendly staff, great service and good food!

Wicked Good Sandwiches, excellent food even if you don't order a sandwich. Parking is limited, but not too bad. Will definitely be returning.

If you're looking for a laid back sandwich joint, this is it. Service was quick, easy, and pleasant. (Thank you Andrew.) The food was amazing, and I definitely recommend the pepper jack bites. Walking in feels like stepping into a basement show, walls buzzing with local art, amps humming in the background, and the sense that something loud and awesome is always about to happen. 10/10

If you're in the mood for sandwiches and fries this is your place! The food, prepared by the owner Jason, was amazing, the servers, Andrew and Brandy, were great, and I really enjoyed the vibe of the place! We ordered the pepper jack bites as the appetizer and Queen steak and cheese as our sandwiches! Everything was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!!

place has really good sandwiches the only issue is you will go there thinking they are open and more often than not they are closed. Inconsistent hours of operation.

Killer vibes, friendly staff and welcoming! I wish we could have enjoyed the night scene and love they offer Karaoke too. Prompt service. The French fries were good and well portioned. The Cuban was about 3 star. A little dry compared to what I am used to but I live in FL so the bar is a little high. My Hubs enjoyed his sandwich too. Overall it wasn't bad but it didn't have the WOW factor. It was pretty average but love the venue vibes and staff. Also found the car parking a bit limited.

Food was great. I ordered a mini cuban and fries. Service was friendly and attentive without being too much. It appears they have live music often as well according to the poster on the wall. They had a decent radio station playing as well, 90s MTV is the vibe I got. Fries are pretty decent with the seasoning salt they put on them. This place was referred by my sons therapist bc I said I miss sandwiches in NY. The Cuban wasn't as crispy on the edges as I may have liked but the flavor was on point. Def will be back.

Used Yelp to find a new place to try on a Wednesday night. This place is downtown near Auston Peay. Doesn't look like much from the outside to be honest. Once inside, greeted with energy from the staff. The theme is everything Boston sports and a sampling of Austin Peay with red, black and white walls and floor. The menu is great, tons of options for sandwiches and burgers and typical sides and appetizers. Small variety of draft beer. Did not notice an liquor. This place was really cool and the staff was engaging and fun. The food was really good too!! I'll be back for sure, and recommend you check this place out too for a great sandwich!

Been going here for some time now and I really don't know why I haven't reviewed them before. They're always quick to greet and take your order...very friendly staff! I enjoy everything I get here, haven't had a bad sandwich to date. I would have to say that my favorite is The Green Monstah! I really like the Green Monstah Extreme, which I had today. The bratwurst is cooked just right with that crisp outside to give it that snap when you bit into it. I think the only appetizer I haven't had is the famous egg rolls, but I'm not really in the mood for those when I get there. I do like the Peay Bread, so if you have time to order ahead...grab some of that as well. I just wish they had had fresh side items, fresh cut fries and fresh battered onion rings...I know that it may be a big ask because having frozen items like those are such a time saver and a bit more friendly on the budget, but it would just make the meal that much better (in my opinion). It's the one thing keeping me from giving five stars. So, if you're in the area for an event at APSU or you've lived here for one week or 10 years, get on over to Wicked Good Sandwiches and grab a bite to eat. I, for one, think you'll like it. Go Yankees!!

Ordered from here yesterday there was a hair in my food when I called to complain to the owner he pretty much told me there was a policy that meant that that wasn't his problem. The rest of the food really wasn't that good would not recommend.

I got the turkey pesto sandwich (added bacon), and my gf got the cheese steak sandwich. Her bread was white and not browned at all, and the meat itself didn't taste seasoned at all. The turkey sandwich absolutely needed the bacon because the pesto mayo overtakes the whole meal. I wish there was a bit more meat on mine, but the fries were solid. My gf also got cheese fries, but the fries also were not seasoned, so it was plain potato with shredded cheese thrown on top. The pizza rolls were good, on the greasy side, but it tasted good. The service and vibe were the best parts. I will try here again but I'm gonna go with the burger next time.

I really don't get the hype of this place I get that it's near the college and has tons of greasy food but it really was mediocre. I ordered my food ahead and they didn't have any of the egg rolls so I got the mozzarella sticks instead. Interesting about these mozzarella sticks is that they have pepperoni inside but did not taste fresh. I got the Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwiches that was what was recommended on Yelp as one of their best sandwiches but it really tasted no better than something I'd get at Jersey Mike's. When I picked up my food and paid my bill I asked the dude for some change and he basically said that he couldn't get change and then I said well how am I going to tip you I'd suddenly he was able to get change for me. He was nice but that was kind of shitty TBH. Overall I would say that this place was meh and I probably wouldn't go back But it's worth trying out if you have them before. maybe you'll have a better experience.

The business was Closed. Never got a chance to try it. Wish I would have found them sooner.

I stopped in for a quick early lunch got one of the best burgers and fries I've ever had great place. I'll come back every month when I'm out here for work just to eat.

Ordered the southwest burger and it did not come with all the listed ingredients And the same with the Texas burger my wife ordered Frustrating And no offer to assist And the appetizer came out with the meal I mean I understand the laid back atmosphere but the level of service, apathy and poor attention to detail Just pathetic

Their sandwiches are so awesomely good. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other food. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food was read very quickly. The inside was very quaint, and they have live bands.

Excellent venue with a nice feel to it. Menu was great. My son's chicken fingers looked great. My wife had the lemon pepper pesto turkey sandwich and I had the Green Monstah Extreme. The fries are well seasoned and sandwiches were delicious. We will return here again. Loved it!

Small little dive bar near downtown, the sandwiches and appetizers are so good and they have trivia Thursday nights! The staff was very nice

I have wanted to try their sandwiches for some time but didn't bother to look them up before hand. I assumed it was more along sub sandwiches. The inside seems like a bar & grill and it makes sense being so close to the university. Ordered Rueben and Italian to go. They came with fries. Fries were warm and floppy by the time I got across the river. My Italian was just ok. Was not aware the sandwiches were served warm. Husband said the Reuben was just ok. I don't know that I'll go back just because it isn't the type of sandwiches I prefer, but I will say that the wait staff was super friendly while I was there and the kitchen staff was rolling out orders.

Came to visit this local favorite on a lunch break with a few coworkers. I fell in love with the decor! They show support for APSU, along with other vintage accents on the wall. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken pesto sandwich, but it wasn't my favorite sandwich. The flavors didn't sit well with my taste. However, my fries were great! My coworkers loved their choices and I'll be returning to try something else on the menu. I rated a 3 because my experience was average. Wasn't bad, but I didn't love it. But as previously stated, I will be back to try something else!

We love the Queen City Cheesesteak , the Reuben, and the Pepperoni Mozzarella sticks. I've had their food delivered at work and to our home. Always fresh and tasty!

Ever since I moved to the Clarksville area, and I'm on Cumberland Drive, I always say to the Mister, "We've GOT to stop and eat at Wicked Good Sandwiches." Well, it took two years, but I finally got my opportunity. I'd done my research on them, so I knew what to expect (kinda) when it came to atomosphere and the friendliness of the staff. I took with a grain of salt everyone's reviews of the place, preferring not to get caught up in any pre-conceived bias. I will say you can't go wrong with breakfast served all day, although the pickings are a little slim. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the overwhelming smell of cooking oil emanating from the kitchen. Sorry guys, but I have to deduct a star for that. Y'all might want to look into a new ventilation system? As I said, I did my research and walked in knowing I was going to have a difficult time making a decision about what to eat, because the entire menu looks stupendous. I finally narrowed it down to 6 choices, and my server (I wish I could remember her name...was it Emily?) helped me to select the Governor's Club sandwich. A club sandwich has always been a good barometer for me when it comes to whether I'll be back a second time or not. This sandwich was really tasty! I hadn't expected it to be served hot but this one was, and the cheese was melty and delicious, and I instantly fell in love! What's cool is you can swap out the bread for a wrap or a croissant, or whatever. The accompanying fries were very good, as well. Am I ready to say that WGS are all wicked good? Not yet. I still have several to try. But if they're as good as my first one, then yeah, their sandwiches are Wicked Good Sandwiches! I'll be back. Next up will probably be either the Queen City Cheesesteak or the Southwest Burger.

Such a hole in the wall that has become our favorite place. It is just like our favorite dive bar back in dallas. Surprisingly good subs.

I tried this place for the first time today, it is so worth trying! I got the southwest chicken wrap and it's awesome! (Spicy but perfect for spivey food lovers like me) The fluffanutella is awesome! The staff was nice and friendly and the place was pretty clean. The wait to get food was a bit long but I'll still be coming back!

Every time I order from wicked sandwiches. The food is excellent. And the delivery is on time. In the time that we are now they only charged two dollars for delivery. Today I had a Queen City Cheesesteak. I have to be honest I ate the whole thing. I was able to order onion rings as my side. If you have not tried them yet I recommend that you go to wicked good sandwiches.

Not sure what to expect when walking in but food didn't disappoint. This is a bar setting and you seat yourself and waiter will bring menu. I got the cheesesteak which was delicious and the fries had a nice seasoning on them and was fresh and hot. Most definitely will try them again when visiting the area.

So I was in the area working and need a quick lunch and found this place where else but on Yelp of course. The food isn't bad but it's not great either, it did come out quickly but it is typical barfood.

Looking to relocate from California we found the reviews for this establishment and decided to give it a try. We were glad we did. The food was very good and they offered a good variety. We always find the best places are where the locals eat. Not fancy but nice staff and good food. What else is there.

My first time ever trying trying Wicked Good Sandwiches was a last minute I'm hungry and what's close by the house type of order. I must say the dam place that's hard to spot unless you know the area is actually a good hole in the wall. I haven't tried everything from them but I tell you what, any sandwich/burger you can't go wrong!

Great value for your money! Looks scary from the outside but don't let that run you off. Inside is very rustic and honestly has a vibe that I felt was more appealing to someone below the age of 30. Got food to go for 3. We all had different things but everyone enjoyed what they got. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

They need a new cook for real I'm not even one to be picky at all I'll eat just about anything that looks good. The servers are nice but that was literally the worst tea I've ever had and one of our sandwiches was pink in the middle the other was over cooked and hard as a rock I got something easy to make since I heard from others it wasn't all that but doesn't seem like he can find a way to cook it correctly it's always too much of something or not enough. Buddy was having a good time back there fucking that shit up tho lol

Always heard great things about this place. Tried to get delivery an hour before close. On hold for over 10 minutes. Called back & said mailbox was full & couldn't take call. Ordered elsewhere.

We miss going and sitting inside but we are so glad that they have stayed open for pick up and delivery Love their Peay Bread and their Italian Grinders! They have many more selections that are also good I am sure, but these are the ones I am stuck on for now!

stopped in on a whim when my parents came to town. Everything we ordered was amazing! i recommend the sunrise burger, it was delicious. even my 5 yo daughter devoured her cheeseburger. we'll definitely be back!

Let me say first, the employees I dealt with were nice enough. I also didn't have any issues on my visit. I had never been there and was in the mood for a burger, so I tried the place. It ended up being a small bar with three arcade games, one pool table, one air hockey table, and a couple tables. Not what I expected but not the reason for my rating. I had ordered the "Sunrise burger" with a side of cheese fries and an order of mozzarella sticks. The burger had a great bun (not sure what it's called, but it was good) but overall nothing special and the patty was crumbly (for lack of a better term) and falling apart. The egg on it was a nice touch, but I've had burgers with egg on them at other restaurants and this didn't come close. The fries were decent but I ordered cheese fries and was expecting cheese sauce or something but it was just a glob of melted cheddar or something. And finally the mozzarella sticks...honestly the only great thing about the meal. Just mozzarella sticks with pepperoni in them, but tasty. To be fair, it was my first time there so maybe their other food is good, but based on what I had today, I personally won't be going back.

Waiter didn't have anything to write our orders down so he had to keep coming back to confirm what we wanted, other than that the food was great. Would go back again.

Ok, so I saw a lot signage about this place being the"BEST" in Clarksville. I guess today was not there best! Since I have never been in the place I Wasn't sure what to order, so I went for the Cheeseburger and fries. However, could not order a regular Cheeseburger, every burgers have different names with diff ingredients, none of what I wanted. So I asked for the standard, cheese, double meat, onions, pickle, lettuce, and tomato with mustard. The waitress did not write anything down, so I just assumed she was very good and could remember. Unfortunately, I didn't get my standard burger. also, forget ordering fries. U can make better fries at home from frozen fries from the Grocery store. Maybe the attraction is not the food, but the Karaoke.

I never knew this place excited. Pretty cool sandwich/bar place to grab a bite to eat. Service was really friendly and prompt and food was outstanding
