Wicked Slush

Perfect on a hot day or after a big hike or ride. We found this purely by accident, and are so glad we decided to try something different. The slushes and soft serve are yummy and refreshing, the service is friendly, the decor is fresh and modern, and everything is super clean. The slushes were a lot like shave ice, but with a slushier texture – though closer to a sorbet than a classic slushy, so you eat it with a spoon rather than drinking it through a straw. The soft serve was very rich and creamy. I was disappointed that they were out of guava, but really enjoyed my mango slush/vanilla soft serve split. We also had a cherry slush, vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate, and chocolate soft serve with chocolate and peanut butter drizzle. All exactly what we were craving. The regular size is a generous serving. One of us had a large and couldn’t finish it – though we put it in the freezer, stirred it back into tasty slushiness, and finished it later.

All I can say is I have a new addiction. All the flavors are so good! So many delicious options. And the portions go from big to massive. Prices beat any other ice cream type shop around here. It's Italian ice and soft serve. It's amazing! Staff is all very friendly. The owner Katrina makes a point to greet everyone. Family owned, family atmosphere!

Amazing and unique dessert yummy Strauss’s ice cream softly whipped with scoops of Italian. Slushy’s combinations are amazing. My favorite is creating a root beer float.

The slush / soft serve combos are delicious! Best to ask which have the best consistency. Sometimes the slush is too dry, then it is only good. When they are just right, it is my favorite dessert

Slush ice cream was good. I wish I picked a different combination of flavors. Ice flavors are definitely artificial. Cute area of town. They have a few arcade games which were pretty cool.

I love this place. The ice part is so dense and flavorful. Orange was good but cherry was outstanding. The scoop sitting atop a creamy serving of vanilla soft serve is a top dessert to me. The soft serve is super premium. Strauss I believe. The service is always friendly and very fast. The location is cute with video games and a pinball machine. Nice place to hang out for a bit and enjoy a very unique and flavorful treat.

Went here post Chicken Alfredo by the river and it was perfect. I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, strange I know. However this is the spot for a downtown stroll or an after dinner treat. In the words of Parks and Recreation "Treat Yourself"!

Came here earlier this afternoon with my boyfriend for a quick & light dessert. We've been looking forward to trying this place because of the awesome reviews on here. We were greeted by such a kind person working (we had forgotten to get his name but shoutout to him for helping us out with our order!) It was very spacious inside and there were several cool arcade games towards the back. We decided upon a cherry slush & vanilla soft serve split in the Pipsqueak size. It was perfect for us to share since we just had a heavy brunch. 10/10. Will definitely come back soon to try more flavors! I love how creamy and custardy the vanilla soft serve was. It complemented the cherry flavor so well.

A random stop in Novato led me to this place. I've never had slush and soft service together and decided for a quick treat. I was slightly disappointed that they only had 3 flavors of soft serve, but there were plenty of slush options. The worker was polite and informative. I selected the Dreamsicle - orange slush with vanilla soft serve. The regular size was plenty for 2 to share. I was delighted to see the soft service and slush layered consistently layered, so every bite included both. Please note, Marin County has a Foodware Ordinance, which requires business to charge $0.25 per disposable cup and must be itemized on the receipt. If you find this fee unacceptable, bring your own cup.

My friends and I went to Wicked Slush in Petaluma (before their rebrand) and decided to check out this location. I was a bit disappointed to see that there were only 3 soft serve flavors. I didn't feel like getting slush so I decided to just get vanilla soft serve. It was pretty good, but a bit icier than I was expecting. I was hoping it would be creamier. I got the pipsqueak size which looks small, but they actually fill it up quite high so it's like double the size! They also have a cool arcade area in the back of the shop. What I disliked was that they charge a $0.25 fee for a non-reusable cup, which I thought was a little ridiculous because what ice cream place charges you for a cup? Why not just add the fee into the price of the ice cream? I guess you could save $0.25 if you remember to bring your own cup the next time you visit.

The service here is always impeccable! We love all of the staff here, especially the amazing owners whom give A LOT to our community. The chocolate soft serve is my favorite. Goes with just about anything- even lemon slush! WE LOVE YOU KATRINA!!

I'm obsessed with this place. I tend to go Mostly in the winter because it's not crowded and you can sit and chat with friends or just unwind from a long day while eating strauss fro-yo and slush. It's My number one go to! Always. They are very accommodating with my weird requests. And always seem happy to fulfill whatever weird order I come up with when I get there. I'm so obsessed I rented out the back room for a Friday night in April, for my birthday. They helped set up. They cleaned up. And they kept a Running tab so I could just pay for all the wicked at the end. My favorite birthday by far! Great staff. Great service. Great owner! Local small business!

Oh, talk about memories. This place brought me right back to Ices Queen in Brooklyn, NY - who served the most amazing, silky Italian ices. The Slush here is a fabulous recreation of that childhood experience. The fact that you can couple that with softserve (Straus, no less?) makes this place THE most decadent place in Novato. Bar none. Even the smallest kiddie size packs quite the flavor wallop, so don't think you need a monster slush to quench your dessert craving. We've been here a few times now, and will be back many more!

This was my 1st time here and I found myself a little discombobulated at 1st . I was greeted by a young man who welcomed me and explained how the service worked. After a few moments I ordered an Orange sickle split and I was warned that it would not look like the photos because I ordered it to go. So no whip and no sprinkles It was a hot day, so I took it home when me. IT WAS Better than the orange Creamsicle I had a a kid! I'll be back.

A nice, cool little spot in Novato where you can not only get soft serve, but slush. Or even both together. A nice variety of both and endless combinations. Friendly service with clean inside.

Fell in LOVE with this place!! If you have ever been to gunther's in sacramento then you'll be kinda familiar with this concept. They do the slush and soft serve together which is just like a 50/50 at gunther's. I love how the two textures go together and oh the flavors are all so so good!! They let you try the flavors too! I got the mango slush with blackberry soft serve and it was so yummy! My friends got the the other ones pictured and they were also sooo good! Their sour flavors are just like a warhead and wow I was so impressed on how sour it was! I got the pipsqueak size and it may look small but it is very filling. Highly highly recommend this place and the vibe in there is so fun! They have video games you can play and lots of tables to sit inside or outside. I will definitely be back many times and it is just such a good place to get ice cream on any day!

Downgrading review based on how unreliable this Wicked Slush store had been. They close 1 to 2 hours before closing time constantly. We have come at least a dozen times during posted business hours only to read a sign that they closed early. They don't honor posted business hours. They've even closed entire days they were suppose to be open with a sign saying it was closed so they can watch the football game. This is a poorly run business. If you can't honor business hours then at least change them to times you will honor.

Been seriously wanting to try this new ice cream shop in town with my family, but nevermind...I was driving by and just went in by myself earlier today. Whew it's 91 degrees today, time for something cool and refreshing. I decided on a regular sized split of cherry slush and butter pecan soft serve. It was so good! The soft serve seemed custardy, dense, smooth, and just the right sweetness to go along with my cherry slush. It tasted like a perfect combination. I did initially request to get the sugar-free blueberry slush (thank you Wicked Slush for this sugar-free option by the way!) but they didn't have it today (darn). Looking forward to bringing my hubby here as he is a soft serve aficionado (his favorite is the custard soft serve at Easy Breezy). So I'll see what he thinks when we come back together. While I was having my split I got a chance to meet Austin who works there. He asked how I liked my slush & soft serve and I happily told him what a great product they sell. He shared that the soft serve they sell is a bit more expensive than other kinds, but was worth it...I wholeheartedly agree. Here's to more hot, sunny days and more Wicked Slush goodies, cheers!

Why did I do this to myself? I live in the South Bay, but on a trip to the North Bay I made sure to make an extra stop at Wicked Slush because I had seen them on instagram and was intrigued. The combination of soft serve and refreshing, fruity slush cannot be described - it must be experienced. They use top notch Straus Family Farms milk for their many flavors of soft serve and the flavor combination possibilities are endless. I really enjoyed the "twisted cherry" which came with a vanilla chocolate swirl of soft serve. The regular size was perfect for me, though I respect that they also have small sizes for only $2 for those who just want something quick and refreshing. It was SO hot that day and I think it's great to just get a lil' something sweet when you need it. But now I am craving more and I live so far away! AAAAAH! I've tasted Eden and I want more.

New ice cream spot in Novato! So happy to see something like this open up as I love the whole slush+ice cream combo. I got a regular split with mango and vanilla ice cream. This was enough to share for 2 people. Can't go wrong with mango flavor and the vanilla ice cream was really creamy and delicious. The middle is also layered with more slush and ice cream. Super chill inside with lots of seating and video games to play in the back. There is parking in front of the store as well. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try other flavor combos!

I am so happy Wicked Slush finally opened for business the other day. I have been anticipating this day ever since I first heard they were going to be in Novato. I expected there would be a long line and there was but it was worth it. The service was great. The staff was friendly and they kept thanking us for our patience. There was a woman walking around greeting everyone while they were waiting in line and people seated who were enjoying their slushes. I ordered the root beer slush, my hubby got the Root Beer Float, and my mom got the Tropical Boys which is a mango slush and boysenberry soft serve. She raved about how good it was. We got some samples while we were waiting in line. There is indoor and outdoor seating with parking out front. I will be coming back all summer long.

I always look forward to trying a new food spot in Novato. You walk in here and it feels very different from any other place in Novato. They have a large indoor space and even some outdoor space. They have slushes and soft serve ice cream and splits (half and half). I'm not a big slush fan, so I got a "Pipsqueak" sized soft serve with chocolate and banana ice cream. The sizes are deceiving. I knew I didn't want a lot so I got the 2nd smallest size. It was actually more than I was able to eat (I had just eaten dinner, so...). My daughter ordered the next size up which appears to be probably twice as big as the Pipsqueak size. She barely finished it. She ordered a Split with watermelon soft serve and sour watermelon slush. I liked it better than mine. I'll be back because I know my daughters will want to go back.

It was great. My kid got to play some games in the back while we waited for our food. Was pretty solid! Will come back

The most amazing ice cream and slush we've ever had. We were just passing through and decided to stop for some ice cream and chose this place based off of their reviews. Oh my gosh!! So amazing! The flavors taste natural and not artificial. The slush is creamy and smooth. They have amazing flavors such as horchata in their slush which I had the "Mexican Chocolate" which was the horchata slush and chocolate soft serve. They also had Orange creamsicle in the slush and vanilla soft serve for an orange dreamsicle. No matter what flavors, they were delicious!!!

Wicked Slush in Novato has a pretty big setup with lots of seating although slushes and soft serve is pretty much all they have. I ordered a pink lemonade slush with blackberry soft serve. The slush was delicious, while I didn't care so much for the blackberry soft serve. I felt like it wasn't clear what flavor it was supposed to be. My friend got the root beer slush with cinnamon soft serve. She loved it. I tried some cinnamon soft serve, and it tasted delicious. After ordering, it was ready in just a few minutes. The only reason I took away one star was that it was melting a lot before I even got it. All in all I would visit again!

Location is so cute! Love that you can have a treat with the family and then walk downtown after. Owned by a local family and run by lots of familiar faces. They also support our school and therefore we love to support them!

The service was great (one of the owners I presume) and the two cones were great! I thought she was the owner because she was playing with a baby when I was in (and yet served my Mother and me quickly upon arriving).

Such a great place for water ice (or Italian ice)! It really reminds me of the places on the east coast and I can't believe there's one in this little part of Novato. I used to go to Rita's on the east coast (especially when they open for spring), and really missed having that custard and ice option here on the west coast. Yeah, there are Rita's here, but they are rare and don't have nearly enough flavours to choose from. What's even better is that Wicked Slush uses Straus for their custard and it makes it heavenly. I ordered mine without custard, it mistakenly came with it, and I'm not even mad. In fact, I'm super grateful that happened because it was really delish. There's a large indoor area for consuming your water ice. I'm also super curious about the slushballs and might opt for that next time.

So first time I had Wicked Slush was up in Healdsburg. Delighted to find a location in Novato. For those unaware, what's this? Imagine Italian Ice (but softer consistency than many). But the 'combo' is a scoop of Italian Ice into a bed of Soft Serve (which isn't really ice cream, but a lot smoother and creamier - think Dairy Queen). Then imagine combining flavors - like vanilla soft serve with orange Italian ice and such. Yes, it's a return to childhood treats all over again. I reward myself on the occasional long day from time to time. The servings are LARGE - even the smallest one is a LOT more than you think it's going to be. Service is friendly and helpful. Really settles in my sweet tooth.

Wicked Whaaaattt? We are so happy that Wicked Slush is in Novato! They opened when the fair was happening this year and we left the fair to go get us some slush. Their menu rotates weekly and they have combos galore. You can get straight slush, just soft serve or a stacked wicked slush. The ice cream is organic Strauss, goodness galore. My usual go to is a root beer/vanilla it tastes like a root beer float and is delicious. The mango and cheesecake is legit so fresh and yummy. I haven't ever been disappointed with the mixes and choices. They will give you a sample if you're afraid. They are in the old Teeny Cakes space and they have opened it up and added a few cool gaming systems in the back for kids (or adults) to play. They have lots of tables and some outside seating. The portions are huge. I always have to get a lid and take it home. The best was when I opened my freezer and saw a cup I had forgotten about so I had it for dessert. They are closed on Mondays so plan accordingly.

Super friendly staff and just a great spot that makes your neighborhood feel like a community. My kids love the root beer floats and the cotton candy slush split with vanilla soft serve (with frozen themed sprinkles). Love that they have really small options that are great for a special treat without being wasteful when your kid can't handle a larger portion. Also...it's right next to Beercraft...so treats for kids and treats for beer lovers in one convenient trip.

Call me weird but I don't love root beer floats. So walking into this place and having the staff at the counter recommend root beer floats, well, I wasn't sure what to expect. But my first taste of the "split" (slush + soft serve) was heaven. It only got better from there. Since then, I've had the dreamsicle, too, (orange slush + vanilla soft serve) and it was even better! The key is that they use Strauss soft serve. It's such high-quality ice cream that you can't help but love it and spoon up every delicious, cold, sweet bite. The one small complaint I have is that the size options are confusing. When you buy a regular for here, they say "that will come in the next biggest cup" and they add on a hefty serving above and around the lip of the cup. If you buy a regular to go, it's the same price but they put a lid on it and give you less. If you buy a pipsqueak to go, they give you a mini pip with a lid but charge you for a pipsqueak. I think I have that right... anyway, I feel confused about the sizes every time I order. I guess I'll get used to it after a while. The wait can be about ten minutes at times but it's air-conditioned inside and there are even video games in the back so it's a very pleasant wait. The staff have been helpful and patient. The menu can be a little overwhelming so I'd suggest asking for a recommendation on your first trip.

So good. I got the candy floss split in regular and my boyfriend got the mango slush. Perfect dessert for a hot day. Very quick service as well on a Sunday afternoon. Glad I tried this new business out whenever I'm in the area (:

We have been coming here since they opened last summer. The service is always friendly. It takes no time at all to get our slushes. The place is sleek and clean. My son love the free video games in the back. We enjoy all their flavors. Tonight I tried the brown sugar cinnamon soft serve. New favorite!! Can't wait to go back!

Novato is not known for great ice cream joints, so when Wicked Slush came along, we were excited to give it a try. And we've never looked back! First, the ice cream and slushes are delicious, high quality and made with love. The varieties are fantastic. If I want just a slush, I can get one. A soft serve cone with dips and sprinkles? Yep. Better than DQ. And the ice cream and slush split? That's the way to go. Never would have thought the two would go together, but they are truly something to experience. As a local, I love to support a small business and customer service factors into whether or not I frequent a spot. The family that owns and operates the Novato location are simply the nicest people you'll ever meet. When they aren't hard at work serving customers and keeping the store spotless, they are often out in the community, supporting a charitable event. Katrina, the owner, has a soft spot for the special needs community. Since our daughter has special needs, it's really delightful for all of us to stop in for a visit. I've seen some comments about pricing, but honestly the portion sizes are great and the quality is so good. Well worth it IMHO. It's hard to choose a favorite, but I personally love vanilla soft serve with either cherry slush or sour blue raspberry. When we have company, we always use it as an excuse to take them to Wicked Slush.

So good! So nice to have something different as a dessert option in this town. Only so much different ice cream one can try. Yes they have soft-serve, which is amazing, but you can mix it with a delicious, Italian ice type slush. So many different flavors of each to mix and match. My personal favorite was boysenberry soft-serve with mango slush, which the owner suggested. The staff is all friendly as is the owner who seems very involved. I would absolutely recommend Wicked Slush in Novato to everyone.

Love this place, but it feels like people in the community aren't very interested in slushes and perhaps it is slowly dying. Which is a shame because it's tasty, staff is nice, and the vibe inside is unique. Both the shave ice and the soft serve are solid treats, highly recommend separate or together.

This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and the sour blueberry was spot on! Owner was there with her mom making sure everyone was engaged. Love this spot. Place was clean and plenty of space for large gatherings.

My son and I visited for the first time today and loved it. We can't wait to come back regularly! The owner was kind and walked us through the menu and let my son sample the slush before we ordered. Cool seating area with arcade games. Looking forward to our next visit!

I cannot describe how sad we are that the one in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa have closed. We got some Wicked Slush and it felt like we were bad. Kind staff. Pretty expensive but worth it if you're craving it.

Great selection of flavors that change everyday. The consistency of the ice is just like east coast italian ice that i love. Good service as well!

Outstanding slush and soft serve. I would highly recommend getting the regular or pipsqueak split with slush and soft serve. The large and wicked sizes are huge so the regular and pipsqueak sizes are better but still generous portions. I loved the vanilla Strauss soft serve and Cotton candy slush. Employees are extremely friendly and service is fast.

This place is amazing and the people that run it are awesome! We went yesterday for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We tried a variety of different slushies and soft serves and all were delicious! The serving sizes were huge and the price was cheaper than I was expecting. We are all very happy. My husband has been asking to go back all day! But they are closed on Mondays!!

I LOVE this place! I'm actually a little addicted and the staff are so sweet. My one gripe is yo. ANSWER YOUR PHONE. What if I have questions or want to place a catering order? It's not super professional. Heads up it can get really loud in here w solid floors, video games and well... kids. A great addition to Novato !

Delicious, and way too expensive. A large and medium slush/soft service with tip was $20 - that makes no sense.
