Delicious vegan grub, friendly staff, and chill vibes make this a great restaurant. I love coming here and seeing the new menus that change often, plus trying the treats in their bakery case. Employees are always in a good mood and chatty, enthusiastic to answer questions or give recommendations. They also make yummy soy lattes in cute mugs! ☕

Absolutely love this place! Good food, good vibes, good people. Their seasonal menus keep things interesting and their staple menu is filled with absolute bangers so I know I’m always going to have an amazing meal. I also love the new addition of the community corner and the pay it forward meals.

For vegan food this place has some pretty great coffee and the tacos I had were a perfect snack. The energy here is peaceful and homey. It might not be extravagant but its a great place for a stop downtown for the needed every day coffee fix.

My husband and I are not vegan, and Wicked Willow is our favorite restaurant. We've been patrons since it first opened, but now it's the real deal as it has gotten immensely better under the new ownership with a clever redesign, weekly/monthly/seasonal specials, better drinks than most coffee shops, grab and go options, desserts, and delicious innovations to the menu. Better vegan food than you knew was a possible, and above all else, the world's best breakfast sandwich. The seasonal specials really hit - refreshing in summer, like tangy BBQ with coleslaw, and comforting in winter, like the "KFC" bowl and creative soups. Love you Wicked Willow! 🌈💞

I’m happy that there’s a vegan spot in town! Service was great, vibes are cute and homey. The food was very good, though most of our plates weren’t as warm as I think they should’ve been. Definitely would return if we’re ever nearby again!

Have heard a lot about this restaurant but it hasn’t been opened when it was convenient for us. We’ve been missing out. The food was great - the service was friendly and accommodating. They were opened on a Monday, which is a bonus because lots of restaurants aren’t. We ordered our food at the counter. It is nicer to have a waitress serve when a tip is asked for. Everything we ordered was tasty and a good portion. Not too much not too little. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was interesting. Thick and not super flavorful- other than the peanut butter.

The extensive vegan menu had something for everyone—my Buddha Bowl was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Kid-friendly with coloring sheets and board games, keeping the little ones happy. Cozy vibe, friendly service, and allergy-friendly options made it a perfect road-trip stop. Highly recommend for tasty plant-based eats!

Love this place. I can’t rave enough about its encapsulating atmosphere, food, and service. If you want to change your life, and are not quite sure how; ask! Walk in and tell the knowledgeable servers you want an item that will change your life. They not only keep in mind allergies, taste preferences or dislikes, but their choices satisfy each and every time. Bring a friend and enjoy the best vegan dishes this side of the Mississippi River!

I came to Wicked Willow today for the first time in a few years. My time allowance from arrival to departure was a maximum of 35 minutes. The inside of the restaurant was much the same as before, minus a row of colorful, decorative flags-- some of which had cartoon kitty faces on them. The menus were also moved to behind the counter and their former spot on the west wall displayed vegan philosophy. The service format was updated from traditional table ordering to modern counter ordering. A tantalizing array of desserts stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the cash register. A kind and pleasant restaurant employee greeted me promptly and began to refresh me on the updated menu, but there was no need for them to finish as soon as I read the word, "curry". I shared with them my decision, paid, and seated myself. It was only a few minutes before my meal arrived. The portion size was quite generous and on par with curry portions at Chef Chu's and Samoeun's. My initial impression of Wicked Willow's curry was that it looked and smelled wholesome. It looked more like a stew than a stir fry, as the liquid looked more comparable to vegetable broth than to curry sauce. It lacked the bright orange coloring and the oil deposits characteristic of many curries. The stew contained perfectly-sized chunks of broccoli, carrots, onions, red bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, and cauliflower, as well as chickpeas. A generous heap of white rice accompanied the stew. Chopped cilantro topped the dish. The word "spicy" appeared next to the word "curry" on the menu, but I found this spiciness level to be effortlessly palatable. I might not be the best person to ask, though, because I eat spicy tuna every day, but only those offended by mild taco seasoning could find this dish anything but delightful. I was impressed with the dish and with my overall experience at Wicked Willow. The curry is the perfect choice for anyone in a social situation with the expectation of ordering food and not wanting to blow their body composition goals, as it did not contain coconut milk or oil, for which some other curries are known. It's what everyone's doctor wishes they would eat, truly. My bill was $11- so, party like it's 2007, I guess! I departed with eleven minutes to spare, and I recommend Wicked Willow to all.

Super tasty vegan restaurant. Amazing selection with very tasty bakery. I love going for lunches all year round. Their Mac and cheese is amazing. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is also so cute. Pressed tin that seems to fit the historic downtown aesthetic with beautiful artwork. A local favorite for sure!

They have really simplified the menu since I was last here in a good way. They promptly took our order and had it out very quickly. A vast improvement from the last experience I had there. I can happily recommend this place again. Great vegan food! We had the Korean tacos, Gyro sandwich, and a couple large salads.

I have never been disappointed with the food here. It is so fresh and flavorful! The service is always friendly and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients. Even my husband said "would eat here again!".

Nice place workers very nice but the food there was Ok not to my taste I got the wicked wrap I think it was called.

Wonderful, friendly service. I got the Buddha bowl and so surprised at how much and flavorful this was. The sesame sauce amazing! Whatever they marinated tofu in was delicious! Enough for 2 light meals. I've eaten vegan food across the country and can honestly say, this meal was in my top 5!

LOVE THIS PLACE. My vegan girlfriend and I are always on the lookout for vegan restaurants and this is by far one of our favorites. Love the plants and the artwork. I got the Burger Mac and Potato salad, my girlfriend got the Crunch wrap and it was definitely the highlight of our week! The guy at the front counter was very friendly and our food came fast. We will definitely be coming back!!! Another plus is they have cardboard containers.

One of the coziest and most welcoming vegan restaurants I have been to. The atmosphere made me feel right at home from the quirky mushroom decor, the booth seats, and a variety of games to play for all. There were so many delicious options to choose from, but being a mac and cheese lover, I had to go with the build my own mac. I added broccoli and mushrooms, and heard about their famous corn chowder, so had to get that also. One of the best vegan meals I've had a long time, and will definitely come back whenever I'm in town. 13/10 vegan heaven.

This place is Wicked good! A willow tree represents strength and stability, harmony and life. Definitely get that comfortable feel inside this cafe as if sitting underneath this magnificent tree. Decor is hippy meets resale shop sustainable like with mismatched tables, chairs and dishes. And neat tchotchkes and walls hangings scattered here and there. They even have a collection of games to play with your peeps while sipping a kombucha. Now the food. For your first visit definitely select one of theses three dishes: rice noodle salad, pad Thai or gyro sandwich. You will not be disappointed they are amazing! You won't even miss the meat so you need to give this eclectic vegan cafe a go.

Great place, great food, great people. Not sure why the 1 stars are crying so much? I make sure to stop by this place every time I am in town, and it truly never disappoints.

I can say with all certainty this is the best vegan restaurant for fifty miles in any direction. Very allergen friendly, my partner with Celiac disease hasn't gotten sick from anything!

We have traveled here often to eat and have loved it! We received a $50 gift card (from a friend who also traveled an hour and a half to purchase it) for X-Mas and were excited to visit again. Upon arriving, we ordered and were prepared to pay the amount over because it exceeded the amount of the gift card. Our server wasn't quite sure how to properly enter the card into the POS system so inquired and was told that the gift card would be honored and how to enter it. As we were paying, another manager stepped in and said that the gift card would NOT be honored because of an ownership change, despite the name and all visible elements of the business being EXACTLY the same. I own a salon and have accepted gift cards from completely different businesses that have closed their doors in the past in order to attract future business. They had dedicated, loyal customers who traveled a fair distance standing in their doors and basically turned them away. NOT IMPRESSED and know that I will NO LONGER recommend my clients to frequent this establishment. SAD!!!!!

I've been in Stevens Point on business for a month and I've been here 9 times at least! The service here is TOP NOTCH! I will be honest it takes some time to get the food but trust me that it is worth the wait, I promise. Never had a bad meal, and they way to cook their tempeh and tofu is the best I've had!! Truly a local treasure, so much so I brought my wife out for a day to try it out Thank you so much to the staff for taking care of me so many times even right up to close, y'all are the best!

We were on a long road trip across Wisconsin and this was an absolute oasis. Everything we got - a tempeh Buddha bowl, a chili dog, and a corn chowder - was completely delicious, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

As a vegetarian is does become difficult to find a good meal. This place is perfect. Expansive selection and great flavor.

The location is clean and the attendant was friendly but the food and drink were not good. We ordered from the display on the counter. The items were stale and off. It was clear that the flour used had gone bad. Unfortunately the drinks were just poorly made. They use powders, which happens, but they were very watery. Neither of us could finish and decided to leave and eat elsewhere. We have both had vegan before but never have we had anything made this poorly from a cafe/restaurant.

This is an amazing as heck all vegan restaurant that has a variety of meals and courses for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner!!!

Excellent vegan food! Atmosphere is eclectic. A little short staffed but worth the wait. I had south of the border tacos. My wife had mashed potato's bacon and cheese (all plant based), and a very good gyro.

I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, but I really enjoy this restaurant because even though there is no meat in sight, I love every single dish. The last thing I bought was a bowl of vegetarian chili with vegan cheese on top. I am fairly picky when it comes to chili, and I am extremely picky when it comes to cheese. However, this was a great meal and I recommend it to anyone. I will have to go back and try more, but my absolute favorite is their veggie burgers. Give it a try.

Great vegan restaurant. I started with a jalepano margarita which was delicious. For appetizer we got creamed brussel sprouts and they were some of the best i have had. My husband a non vegetarian got southwest tacos which he loved. His favorite part was the sauce. I got mac with peas and bacon. The cashew cheese was to die for. To finish we got carrot cake. I am always a little weary about the cream cheese frosting when making it vegan but with this you could not tell. Next time were in town we will be back

This is a delicious vegan restaurant!! Though we are not vegan we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I got the mac-n-cheese gluten free (cost an extra $1 that I was not aware of and didn't see it mentioned on the menu, though I could have overlooked it) with broccoli and mushrooms. It was amazingly good! My husband got a burger with a side of creamy brussel sprouts. He loved his meal and said it has to be the best burger he's ever had!! We also got a root beer float! We loved the food, the atmosphere and all vintage touches. Though the staff was kind the service was incredibly slow. If you don't mind waiting a very long time or are not in a hurry, I definitely recommend the place. We will always come back when we are in the area.

I live in Wausau, but work a few days a week down in Point. I love coming here as a regular on my lunches. The service has been exceptional, the creamy brussle sprouts are incredible!! I love the salads, build your own quesadillas and the loaded chili is amazing too! Staff is super friendly and always greets me as soon as I walk in. This restaurant is a real gem, between Wausau and Stevens Point its a one of a kind!

Our first time to visit this little vegan cafe. The spring rolls with sprouts, mushrooms, and avocados were amazing and fresh. We also had the corn chowder, and as the menu says, award winning...not much more to say than excellent!!! Our other selection was the rice noodles salad, the combination was wonderful, savory, sweet, soft, crunchy...a sheer delight. And to top it off we ordered the black bean brownie...sweet, flavorful, served with a strawberry, YUM.

I've been dying to try this place for the last few months, and my fiancé and I finally got the opportunity today. It has a cute, welcoming decor that greets you. We shared the 9-Layer Nachos for an appetizer. They were beyond delicious. Then we shared the Mac and cheese and BBQ sandwich. Both were incredible. The portion of Mac and cheese was huge, and were looking forward to leftovers later. We'll definitely be back, and I have a new favorite restaurant. I was so excited that we have a new vegan restaurant in town, and Wicked Willow did not disappoint.

Wicked Willow has been a blessing to Stevens Point. It is so hard for the vegan community to find places to go out to eat in this town, and wicked willow has fixed this issue. Their food is absolutely killer. I have not had a single bad experience. Wait staff is friendly, clean, and attentive. Food can take quite awhile to come out sometimes, but that is understandable since everything is so fresh. Their mismatched dishes are sooo cute and give the restaurant a really homey feel. I have gone with my vegan best friend a few times but have also gone with non vegan friends, my non vegan husband, and my non vegan mother in law and they all loved it. Cleaned their plates. This place is a wonderful time for vegans and meat eaters too. I will continue to visit and suggest to anyone looking for a restaurant.

Aw I loved this place SO much! It is so cute and charming and the server was very nice and the food was totally amazing! The entire restaurant is vegan. I had bacon ranch mac and cheese and my mother had some amazing salad with fruit all over it and it was a dream! We both had the corn chowder and I'd highly recommend it! I don't go through Stevens Point often, but when I do I'll make a point of stopping by! Thank you!

I really, really wanted to love this place. But there were too many issues to give it any more than three stars. I hope anything I might have to say is helpful to the owners, though trust me, I don't give my words too much weight :-). There are some things this place needs to work on, so I guess I'll give the bad news first. Our food took a very long time to come out and the place was not busy. We were a party of six. The brussel sprouts are a starter, and they came out last - way after our meal. Even so, the brussel sprouts were very underdone. (I did like the note of horseradish in the cream sauce.) Service is not very attentive, though not unfriendly. We asked our server an opinion on which entrée we should order. She really touted the "Grandma's Pasta Bake" on the specials menu. She described it to us. She said that it is cooked spaghetti, which is then combined with plant-based cheeses, put back into the oven and baked - she used words like "warm and melty" to describe how it came out of the oven. When the pasta came out, the cook delivered it - and he described it as spaghetti. We said, oh! We ordered the pasta BAKE." He stared at us, then turned and stared at the menu. He said he had no explanation as to why the servers described it that way, but that this had always been the recipe. It was not oven-baked. It was just spaghetti. Our server never mentioned it again, nor made any attempt to apologize or correct the situation. I'm not sure why she misrepresented it. The butternut squash soup desperately needed salt, and the gnocchi that she had highly recommended was actually a plate of dense noodle dumplings. They would have been good, perhaps, in a (vegan) chicken and dumplings dish, but they were not gnocchi - which should be feather light, and melt in your mouth. The very lowest point of the meal was the "Black Bean Brownie." I have a friend who is not vegan, and she had a lot of trepidation about trying a dessert with beans in it. I explained to her that beans make the dessert moist and fudgy. Not here. The brownie is a thin sheet of something very waxy. It has a lot of coconut oil and a strong coconut flavor, but the texture was definitely off-putting. I told her not to judge black bean brownies on this experience. :( Paying the restaurant some compliments, I have to say that the decor is absolutely amazing. All of the furniture, fixings, and dishware has been handpicked and is immaculately clean. It is a very pleasant place to eat in. I also have to say that I did enjoy the pasta sauce, even though it wasn't what we ordered. The corn chowder was good. I also liked the cream sauce on the brussel sprouts, as I mentioned, and the thing I enjoyed the most was the carrot cake. While it did not contain many carrots, it was a delicious cake that melted in your mouth. The peanut butter pie was okay, with a filling that was tasty, but a standard, store-bought crust. We didn't have anything here that would send me running back. I think if your service is not the best, then the food should be amazing. I hate, hate, hate to give anything but a great review to a plant-based restaurant, since there are not that many and I am vegan myself. However, the business is becoming more competitive, and there are a few things on the menu here that need to be removed (the brownie) or reworked. With a little more precision in food and service, this place could go up a couple of stars.

This is absolutely a restaurant you have to try! I'm from Boulder, CO where everything is vegan and organic, and Wicked Willow gives the places there a run for their money. I had the tacos with the ground "beef" and was blown away by the sweetness, the fresh tortillas, the handcut vegetables, and the perfectly ripe avocados. I also tried the corn chowder, which was awesome! For desert we had a cinnamon roll which was average. Not enough frosting and not very chewy or enticing appearance. Other than that, everything is ripe and fresh. I also overheard other patrons raving about the chili. 5 stars for Weeping Willow. I'll be back.

Love the quesadillas, Mac and cheese, and the brownies! (Especially the brownies lol) Very good food! And you can call to order ahead of time which was nice so we could just grab it and go

This is a nice find. The menu is well thought out with interesting choices, the decor is ecclectic and fun, the food was well prepared and presented. I had the mac n cheese which is made with a cashew sauce - generous portion and good flavor. My husband's Tiger Salad was smallish in size but largish in flavor. The side of roasted vegetables was a bit skimpy too, but flavorful. Well be back!

Went there today for my first time. My girlfriend and I recently began a plant-based diet. I searched for some restaurant options near me in Wausau and discovered there are not many options. Traveling to Stevens Point was definitely worth it. The portions were larger than I expected. The food was soooo delicious. They have cinnamon rolls! I ordered the pad thai with tempeh. My gf ordered the southwest nachos. We shared a chicken bacon ranch mac n cheese. We couldn't tell we were eating vegan except for how we felt afterwards, GREAT! It's. A 10/10.

This must be quite the spot for the vegans in the area! Although I am not a vegan, I appreciate a place like this because of my lactose intolerance. I know I can order just about anything on the menu and not have an issue. I also have a gluten intolerance and most of their dishes offer gluten free alternatives. I especially love their barbecue sandwich. You would hardly ever notice there's no meat in it.

The waitress literally walked away from the table while my friend was mid-sentence of her order. TWICE. The first time she walked away she was gone for over 5 minutes. How completely unprofessional. The food was well prepared and delicious. The service was absolutely horrible.

Food was reasonably good. Portions very small and somewhat over priced. It is vegetarian..but not necessarily organic, though a few items are. Why is that important? If I am going to pay that much for small portions, I want it to be organic so I at least feel little better about my dining choice and more environmentally conscious, paying more to walk away still hungry...

I was on a six hour road trip and I happen to be driving through Stevens Point so I googled a health food restaurant that I could get something good to eat. I am so gladI found Wicked Willow! Their food is incredibly delicious. I started with the Fire Lettuce Wraps and they were flavorful and amazing. Then I had the pad Thai with tofu and it was just as flavorful and delicious! The service was friendly and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I cannot wait until am passing through again! Regardless if you are vegan, vegetarian or a carnivore-I highly recommend trying this place for some amazing flavors whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing.

You don't have to be vegan to fall in love with this place! Seriously the best Mac & Cheese I've had and so many customization choices. There isn't a bad item on the menu. Price is a little high, but the portions are large.

I absolutely adore this place. Anytime I'm in town, this is where I go. GO SUPPORT THEM! The food is amazing, I had an awesome chowder that I miss dearly. Wish I lived closer!

We drove down from Wausau to try Wicked Willow. Loved the eclectic feel of the restaurant! The wait staff was prompt and nice. Husband had the Goulash which was excellent! The portion was huge! I plan to make this at home! :) I ordered Korean Tofu Fried Rice from the special menu. It was delicious. If I could have changed one thing the tofu would have been crispy. But it was really really good! Thank you, we will be back! :)

Everthing was delicious. A lovely place to stop while traveling. Genuinely kind waitperson. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.

Wicked Willow is not just the first Vegan restaurant I know of in central Wisconsin. It's also a sign of the times. Plant free entrees are healthier and more delicious than ever, and the chefs at WW have delicious proof. I had the beyond burger with farmer cheese, smoked cheese, meatless bacon and chipotle sauce. I hereby testify that this is the best burger I've ever had. (Ever!) My only suggestion would be to cycle the "soup du jour" more often. Taylor was my server. Not only does she enjoy making visitors happy, but she's clearly passionate about Vegan food. Anytime a place like WW opens I fret about it's survival. But if word gets out about the culinary creations at this outlier pleasure, then Steven's Point is going to be a happier town to live in.

It's the only vegan restaurant in the area, but that doesn't mean the good folks at Wicked Willow skimp on flavor, variety, or customer service. We did a to-go order and they packed our delicious pad thai and veggie wrap in biodegradable packaging and added wooden utensils. The sauces on both entrees would be reason enough to come back! Wow!!! Delicious and devoured very quickly.
