I chose Wicked Wolf to celebrate my husband’s birthday and made a reservation for the main floor dining experience. Unfortunately, from start to finish, the experience fell far below expectations. The issues began at the door. Security appeared disorganized and attempted to stop me again to check bags and IDs that had already been checked while I was walking up to check in. That immediately set a negative tone. Despite my reservation being for the main floor, we were seated upstairs. I went along with it, assuming the experience would still be consistent, but it was not. Our server, Sunny, was extremely inattentive. She did not write down or enter any orders into the POS system. As expected, orders were forgotten, drinks and food were mixed up, and she could not remember who ordered what. We were told bottomless mimosas were $20, only to be informed afterward that they no longer had mimosas and were encouraged to order a bottle instead. This was confusing, especially since they had just opened and Wicked Wolf advertises a brunch/party experience during these hours.
Additional issues included:
•Coal refills that never came
•Side condiments that were requested but never delivered
•Over a 30-minute wait for food despite only six tables being seated upstairs
•Poor communication between the server and the kitchen
It was also very uncomfortable to hear our server openly say that she “hates working upstairs.” Regardless of seating location, every guest should receive the same level of service and energy. When the check finally came, I clearly stated that the bill needed to be split into three separate checks for three couples. Despite this, my husband and I were incorrectly combined on two tickets, adding yet another issue to an already frustrating experience. The only highlight of the visit was the Wolf character coming upstairs with shots. That moment briefly reflected the experience Wicked Wolf advertises online.
