"Here in one of Stuttgart's most exclusive residential areas, set amid the lush vines, veteran chef Vincent Klink's Wielandshöhe stands proud. This restaurant is the epitome of elegance with its large windows that afford unobstructed views over the city. Chef-patron Vincent Klink and his right-hand man Jörg Neth deliver classic cuisine that draws inspiration from their Swabian homeland. They steer well clear of gimmickry and frills, instead employing their immense culinary skill to tease out the full flavours of premium ingredients. Unsurprisingly, this place has held a Michelin star almost continuously since 1993." - Michelin Inspector

Amazing dining experience! The combination of different ingredients to create a new tasting experience is done superbly. If you’re looking for a new take on simple things combined with special flavors, this is the place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive (especially for German restaurants) - and the restaurants vibes are modern but cozy. Highly recommended if one has the budget.

Food was generally good, not exceptional. The saibling salad lacked taste. The chef came out to greet us. Service was disappointing for this price point and cannot compare with other starred restaurants worldwide. Some waiter and waitresses didn't look like they belonged in fine-dining restaurants. Holes in the tablecloth. Partner ordered alcohol-free beer but beer with alcohol appeared. Overall, I wouldn't pay to return.

Went there for a corporate event so cannot talk about prices. The food was great, the wines served were exceptional. The chef, apparently a popular one, said hi as well. The staff is well trained and educated, told stories about the good and its origins. Great spot. Oh, limited parking. Consider walking a minute or two.

We arrived one recent weekday for lunch, more by accident, as Wielandshöhe was recommended in a guidebook by ADAC and we had not much time to read while driving from Munich to Paris. We just wanted to avoid another horrible food debacle at a German highway „Raststätte“. Only after walking in we saw the books by Vincent Klink displayed near the entrance (I love his food book about Venice and Veneto) and realized where we had landed: in a temple of the finest German cooking, where you should come to enjoy, really, not just for a stopover from the Autobahn. Still, they treated us with the same friendliness and professionalism as everybody else. I had the best, most juicy, delicious pork cutlet of my life coupled with a great view over Stuttgart from the vineyard on the hill, whrere the restaurant sits like an eagle’s nest. My wife and the kids tried octupus salad and a very creative Lasagne, all great. We ended up passing spoons across the table all the time. The Michelin-starred chef is cooking in the kitchen himself every day, and when he came out to talk to us, I could thank him in person for the great „pasta with radicchio „ recipe in his book „Ein Bauch spaziert durch Venedig“ that we use a lot at home. It was a pleasure to come here. We will be back. Thank you, Vincent Klink and good luck with your next book!

Good dining experience, but NOT dissability friendly. Information that the restrooms are not wheelchair accessible was sadly missing. Only the seating area is wheelchair accessible. The restrooms are all connected to the dinning floor through a spiral staircase. Which was why we could not stay and fully enjoy the experience.
