Hot Dog Chain Wienerschnitzel Will Open a Houston Location | Eater Houston

"Set to open inside Houston city limits, this 1,247-square-foot restaurant will occupy a space that formerly housed an ice-cream shop; construction is slated to begin this summer with completion expected by the end of October. It will bring the hot-dog chain's full menu to the site, including classic chili- and sauerkraut-topped dogs, creatively topped options such as the Cuban (a wiener with Swiss cheese and a pickle spear), plus burgers, bacon-ranch chili cheese fries, breakfast items, ice cream and other snacks. The opening represents the brand's return to Houston after its restaurants across the city closed in the 1990s and is part of a broader planned metro-area expansion." - Amy McCarthy

This was hands down the best service I have received at any food place ever. I called in advance with a large order. I talked to Kevin on the phone and he was extremely helptul! When I arrived, Rachel welcomed me with a big smile. She was so kind and an awesome manager. Amy and Devonte made our food which was nothing less than excellent. The vibe in there was so fun and made you wanna dance while eating your food. Thank you guys for making our night!!!

It is what it is. Fast food hot dogs and burgers and shrimp dog. Only two tables inside and you'll be staring at the kitchen.

Staff was more than friendly, they were amazing! Gave us free samples of ice cream to try out(fruit loops/cotton candy) fruit loops is the best if anyone is wondering. Also, really clean restrooms and clean lobby! Will come again and again.

The manager and staff are wonderful! The manager came out and asked how we liked our food. We told her about our experiences, growing up eating Wienerschnitzel. She shared her extensive training with us. She takes extreme pride in that location. The store was clean and staff was friendly and hustled. The food was great and this location stands for what this chain strives for! #wienrerlova4life

As I am a big fan of chili dogs, I had to check this place out. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and welcoming the staff was. Service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was great. Kudos to the manager and staff.

Small little dive. But the service was amazing. The manager is as lovely and kind as can be. She'll make you laugh, make you feel like family, and always check on you to see if you're enjoying your visit.
