A German American place served in a fast food styled restaurant; it's a great place, where vegan and meat lovers meet . Personally, I fell in love with the Vegan Chicago. While short on time having little wiggle room, but couldn't resist the the luring smell. Unfortunately I was too hungry while still sleepy around early morning. I have enjoyed my short visit to this humble place with various categories and wonders to pick from. I would definitely come back for another round!

My friends and I are in from Columbus, Ohio, and Wienerschnitzel is down the street from our hotel so we walked down for a quick dinner. 🍽 The menu has a decent amount of options and the lemonade combos are cool (cucumber, strawberry, etc.). I got the mac and cheese and cucumber lemonade and my husband got the Chicago-style dog and a strawberry milkshake. 🍓🍋 The cucumber lemonade was honestly gross lol it reminded me of pickle juice. 🤣 The mac and cheese was alright. My husband said he enjoyed his hot dog. 🌭 Overall, the food was alright. We sat outside to eat our food and the sitting area was clean. I wouldn't mind coming here again.

Wow ! They must've changed the hot dogs because they are so small for the price . What a rip off .

They always get orders correct. Always friendly and patient. The variety of food is good as well.

There chili cheese dogs are always delicious, and chili cheese burgers are good 2, my son loves their mini chili cheese corn dogs and chili cheese fries.

Food is always good there. And everyone is always very nice.

I was there a lady pulled up and asked if they had a restroom which they don't she was in a purple geep And they didn't have a restroom so she started peeing right there in the parking lot how ghetto

This place is horrible I got the stomach flu eating from here on 2 separate occasions a month apart I think they keep the unused chili over night and give it first thing to the next day guest right when they open and it didnt taste right would never go back here

Showed up first thing Tuesday morning and the girl was very sweet at the window. Very helpful, polite and friendly. I will return. Dogs were great

They forgot to bag my chili cheeseburger, called the number on the receipt no answer... ended up hungry that day for lunch.. Also the automated order taker is stupid.

Der Weinerschnitzel ! That's what is was called when I was a child and it will be called that by me in the low until I am no more. This restaurant is located on a busy street with plenty of parking in the lot near to Albertsons it's clean updated the staff is cool diverse young and older with a chill ambiance. The food is always good to be honest it's consistently good I've been a customer for several decades I don't eat here often but when I do I almost always get extra food for lunch the next day. . Der Weinerschnitzel delicious old school and always hits the spot I'm in the drive thru and it's packed as always no problem I crank up the music and wait my turn. I order a chili dog an all beef hot dog and a kraut dog no onions please and accidentally take a pic of my coke from chick fila and not the one I bought from Der Weinerschnitzel. Oops Chili dog This hotdog was the bomb with a soft bun flavorful hot dog and og chili it was inhaled by me so fast I annoyed myself. Beef hot dog. It's soo good worth an extra dollar $1 Kraut dog An og classic and one of my favorites kids today might not like it but an og like me does and I get one whenever l stop by - a little bit of onions sets this bad boy off - I'll get some on my next visit. Area fyi tips . This spot can feel a bit divey at times because there a few homeless people who linger on the benches from time to time but they are usually no problem and don't bother anyone I try to buy lunch sometimes although they never ask I just don't mind feeding anyone I see in need. My daughter and I pre-ordered on the app. Included in our order was a banana split. When we arrived to pick it up, they said they had no bananas. My daughter didn't want anything in its place so I requested a refund. The not so friendly staff said they were unable to perform a refund and I needed to call the number in the app. What?! I left irritated and called the number as we were driving home. The number was not in service! I got on the website, found the number to corporate and left a message. It's been a week with no response. Never going to this or any Wienerschnitzel again.

Today, I took my granddaughters here for lunch, and I was able to watch the food being prepared in the drive-through. I was shocked to see a food preparer handling the buns with her bare hand. She was wearing fake nails, which made me feel uneasy because artificial nails can contaminate food.

We placed an order online for pickup. It was the slowest pickup I've ever done lol. Food was over 45 minutes late. There were tons of people ordering and getting their food. There were tons of people in the drive thru. Everyone was complaining about how slow it was. Food was as expected. Order was correct, but if you order online, don't expect the food to be on time whatsoever.

REMOVE AI !!! It's dumb!!!!!!!! Too many mistakes, had to keep repeating my order and when we got to the window, it was still wrong.

The cooks use there BARE HANDS to touch the buns and put them together, disgusting. Not even on my drunkest night will I ever be back in to buy food here. Gross.

Who is good. But depending on which restaurant you will patronize, be sure that the meat is fully cooked. Too often I've had to cook the hotdog a little more once I got home.

I just drove up. The place is 30 minutes from closing with two employees and lights on. When I approached the drive through to give my order they turned off the lights and didn't respond. Managers should really check in their businesses so employees are not ruining revenue.

Wienerschnitzel is always good, but make sure you get coupons because over the years they've gotten really expensive. I love their chili, cheese, fries, chili cheese hotdog, and the burger.

I like the double chili burgers but I don't like the cheese. (Lactose intolerant). Every time we go to this location they always mess up the order. You're better off going to the one on cherry. My gf and I decided to try this place again after 2 mistakes. The last time the big guy in the back got mad cause I saw that he added cheese and he threw them in the sink mad af. That was 6 month ago. Came back same guy didnt catch it this time cause the cashier assured us there was no cheese/ Didn't learn my lesson the first couple times. Thought they would have changed after awhile. I even told the cashier it happened before cause the cook is so used to making it a certain way. This place is closer to my house but I have to drive further just to get a burger with NO CHEESE.!

Change you store hours on the websites just went at 9:15 and no one answered the window and the dude straight up looked outside there red doors window and looked back inside y'all lost a customer

The only thing I wanted was a ice cream cone, a very nice guy came out took my money brought my come out so I wouldn't have to wait in the drive-thru. The reason I love wienerschnitzel I always receive great customer service . Will definitely return very soon.....

Bam Straight up bomb service , great food I took my son to get lunch & yes it was a little expensive but was full all day so it was worth it . I get the all beef chili cheese dogs " all angus " I got jalapeño popper's & try there Strawberry lemonade oh my goodness straight up bOmb ... location not the greatest but these franchises are part of the " HOOD " lol - Thank you to the staff for working hard & providing a great product. $50 plus might be a bit expensive but " I choose to pay that because to me it's worth it"

If I could I would leave ZERO stars the man behind the grill was grabbing the food with no gloves, I was disappointed because he was scratching his face before grabbing the food. I would not recommend anyone to eat here if you want food that's not full of bacteria

Sorry but the food was awful, my stomach hurts so bad , ordered an all beef hot dog , got so crappy chili dog , was terrible Don't recommend this restaurant. : (

If I got rate this location a zero , I would. First off I waited a very long time in the drive through and the workers reasoning was because I ordered a veggie dog so it takes longer so ok I let that slide but I ordered a backyard veggie dog and paid extra for kraut, I got the order which was not what I ordered at all, it was a hotdog with just bbq sauce and onions which does not sound appealing at all so I went back and told them I ordered a backyard veggie dog with Kraft added they said they'll fix it so I thought for sure they'll get it right this time but no all they did was put kraut on top of it not to mention they didn't even give me a veggie dog it was meat to top it off!! After spending so long waiting for my order then they got it wrong not only once but twice is very irritating because I spent close to $7 on just that one item and would of been pissed if I actually took a bite because I don't eat meat and only decided to give this item a try because my bf likes this place but not after this incident!! Not to mention I find it gross people making your food not wearing gloves after handling cash!! My bf and I will not be back and I have a lot to say once I speak to corporate!!

Crispy breading around a nice beef stick with mustard included. Chilly dog was satisfactory as well

Nothing special about the service or food here. I order the chili cheese fries and they were okay. This is the nearest Weinershnitzel by my house, so I'll be coming here again.

Okay so first off people are able to order with no mask so that's cool and safe lol. One of my coupons wasn't scanned so cool I spent extra money but whatever. What really pissed me off was the lady who handed me my food I asked "hey where's my ice cream cone" to get an angry response of "OH ITS IN MY HAND" she then proceeded to go make another for me for some odd reason. Look I know this is a more ghetto area lol but you don't gotta provide ghetto service. Even the coupons don't make this crap shack worth visiting. Glad to know y'all don't take the pandemic serious and treat guests poorly

dunno why food prep guys are not wearing gloves....i ordered extra tartar sauce was charged $0.99 for a small cup of tartar sauce ‍ oyyyyveyyyyy

I came here today and I was so happy to see that all my food was fresh and so hot!!! I mean it was so hot I couldn't hold the bag. When I got home I had everything I paid for! Yummy food !!!

I went there last week with my kids we order #1 and #3 including 3 ice cream cones one was a chocolate dip 2 regular vanilla cone but the chocolate dip like it haven't been dip also I order a strawberry sundae and a strawberry shake all look nasty with crack cups I told I guess he's the shift mgr Roberto repeated my order 3 times still have my order wrong then all my food was cold so I drove back and ask for a refund I guess he got an attitude but I took my money and left I'm never coming back there and eat again you guys if you do eat there check your food and they don't wear any gloves when they prep your food while handling money stay safe and healthy good luck.

no matter who's there they always mess up my order when it's so simple it makes no sense I jus add shredded cheese and they never add the shredded cheese but when I tell them they didn't they always argue and go back n forth like if I have a reason to lie for and at that this has happened the last 6x I have went there the staff is very disappointing idk if they're high af to where they can't follow a simple order or if they jus set on giving me bad service either way it's horrible represe of the company I grew up eating n there was hair in my food this time like it was neatly tucked at the end of my food

Had the most horrible deluxe dogs with smashed twisted buns, yellowish green tomatoes and cold hot dogs ! Worst fast food ever ! Won't be back to a place that doesn't care about the quality of what you're paying for !

Place was disgusting, walking up to order, im watching the guy make the food with NO Gloves. Touching everything bear hand from the trash to the cheese, buns, weenies and everything between. I complained to the person taking my order and she tells me " we are not required to wear gloves ". Either way reporting it.

Corn dogs were just a litlle more than warm, the breading was doughy. They don't give refills on drinks. They have outdoor seating only, but only two tables had umbrellas, not much fun on a warm sunny day. Definitely not going back to this place.

Wienerschnitzel in willow location Long Beach. Has plenty of parking space. Huge outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was clean. But they have a special but dose not come with drinks. I wish there specials came with a drink other than that this is a great spot to grab you some hot dogs and a burger and there fries are yummy. Also they got root beer float.

I was going to eat here but as soon as a saw an employee prepping food with no gloves on I immediately "canceled" my order. I don't trust people's bare hands!

All the drive through employees are extremely nice and very patient with me as I take the turn through the drive thru slow. I normally order the sauerkraut horse dogs, a large soda and fries and it's always delicious and fresh. During this recent trip I tried the cheese frigate and boy where they good, will definitely add cheese to my fries during my next order. Thanks kids

It's only getting a one star because the corn dog was good and should be impossible to mess up. However, the chili dog sucked, very little chili on there it might as well have been a plain hot dog. The french fries were not even cooked all the way and were greasy as hell. The soda always sucks, got Dr. Pepper & was watered down, also no corn syrup flavor nor carbonation. The bitches working tonight were rude & seem to hate their miserable lives working there. Here's a TIP!!! GET A NEW JOB! This used to be the spot to come too when I lived local to this location. However, it surely has gone down hill.

Maybe even 4 stars....first off, is it healthy? Nahhh, is it bad for you?? Prawly,...is it good anyways? Uhhhh yeah! Sometimes you just have to throw out healthy and enjoy you some Der attitude! It's a chili cheese dog for goodness sake, when you go here, I doubt you're looking to eat anything healthy....you're looking for fattening, artery clogging goodness, and that's exactly what you'll get...there food is consistent, I've never had it taste anything different than what I was hoping for. The place is quick, drive up, order and go. It's convenience food. The employees are always super nice, and I've personally never had any issues at this location. In, out, and eat. Easy peasy japanesey!

.., ah, I can remember the first chili dog my mom ever got me. It was from Weinerschnitzel's! I always love seeing that orange & yellow "W" around. You can't go wrong w/ their prices. Fast & consistent, I crave those flavors that I find familiar. From family packs to jalapeno poppers, everything tastes great here. They even have street dogs now, which are bacon wrapped hot dogs that I have yet to try. Der' licious indeed, check em' out!

Had a couple of coupons for the Polish sandwich and the chili cheese fries. Why not? Since I had been touring Walmart I figured I would make a day of it. The girl at the counter was very polite and quick to take my order. When it came she gave me napkins and a cup of water that I had asked for. She thanked me and I went to eat. The sandwitch was great. I have always liked it and there is not much you can do to hurt it. The french fries were a dispointment. They tasted like they had been in the warmar for awhile and were soggy/limp. Will order the sandwitch again but will pass on the fries.

I waited 30 minutes through the drive thru with only 4 cars ahead of me. Was bummed that when I finally got my chili cheese fries, it tasted like chlorox/chemical, that one bite's fume burned my nose. I'm not sure what it was that I had to spit it out and wasted my lunch break & food. I'll never come here again.

For some reason THIS location does NOT require it's staff to WEAR GLOVES!!!! T hey touch EVERYTHING with their HANDS, have NO hair nets and tonight: I got a HAIR in my Pretzel Bun Dog AND in my fries = DISGUSTING! NEVER AGAIN! Where is the Health Inspection department???

We ordered two chili cheese dogs and a sauerkraut brawt. The chili cheese dogs were fine but the other was a regular hot dog that they charge double for. It was so ridiculous. It was actually terrible. Last time I go to this place

i can't believe i haven't reviewed this place. it's hit or miss. most times the food is hot, i mean. at the end of the day, you get a hot dog, you get heartburn. especially if you get chili. but i love corn dogs, so i'm a sucker. lucky those are turkey.

Customer service is horrible last had gloves on taking out the trash then had the nerve to touch my bag and napkins with the same glove I asked her to change her glove and give me a new bag and new napkins she closed the window and u can't see because of the sign and gave me the same bag I asked for a refund smh!

OY, here we go again.... wasting yet another review on fast food! LOL I was debating between 3 stars and 4. Believe it or not, I really am a fan of Weinerschnitzel because their chili cheese dogs are DA BOMB (Is this the current terminology or am I a generation behind again?), so 4 stars it is! I went thru to get a chili weenie 4 days ago and THEN again today for another one (Hey, I gotta feed those cravings!). Of course I've had other "dogs" from the menu. A Deluxe, Kraut or Corn dog is also good once in a while, but I keep going back for those chili or chili cheese dogs. Ya see the thing is they are consistent, I know exactly what I'm going to get. Sometimes I'll go a few months without a weenie and sometimes I go twice in a week (like now?). Geeze.... the diet is shot to hell again! (Wait.... IS there a diet?)

Aw, This is the Wienerschnitzel where I asked them what awas taking so long and my boyfriend said, "She asked, not me, please don't spit in my food. " 4 stars for the memories . .

HORRIBLE SERVICE....the person "Sara" taking my order at the drive thru was rude, did not even come close to getting my order right I noticed she gave me the wrong hot dogs when I was home, it's not that difficult to just listen. Will never come back to this place again
