Went on a Friday night and this place was packed! Small but lots of fun and everyone was dancing having a good time. I enjoyed the music. Lots of space to lounge and hang out.

My friends and I visited Wiggle Room on a Wednesday afternoon. It was very quiet and cozy. I love the decor, but Sam the manager made our experience amazing. He crafted great drinks and offered great conversation and recommendations for cool areas in the city. Can’t wait to come back for the Rand B Nights every 2nd and 4th Thursday!

Nick is the best owner on west 6th and Shawn makes the best espresso martinis and both make ya feel like mvps and Bailee Is pretty coool as well

Came in from outta town on a Thursday and Micah made our visit a great one! Super chill and very informative on specials and all the drinks, she was super patient and on point with all of the recommendations. Will be back for sure!

BEWARE!! BEWARE!!!!! There are professional pick-pocketers at this place! We were there on a Friday night and our group had 2 phones stolen. As I was walking out of the bar another patron told me to zip up my purse because her group had things stolen. I think this is very common at this bar. Management is aware of this but they don’t do anything about it…. 👎

Shout out to the best bartender in Austin... Christian is the man! Him and his crew threw a pop-up Christmas event at the Wiggle Room and it was my first time in the bar. I had the "Not The Gumdrop Buttons" which was a gingerbread-y cocktail that both photogenic and delicious. The vibes here were on point! Will have to go check this place out again when it's not a Christmas bar and see what it's all about.

So much fun! Awesome ambiance, great people and lots of dancing! Highly recommend to reserve seating.

The Wiggle Room's crowd definitely matches the vibe. It's a little too intimate and empty for me. Unlike the hustle and bustle of its surrounding neighbors, the Wiggle Room doesn't get overly packed or as bumping as the others. The DJ plays a ton of booty popping throwbacks, but the setting is off. For some, this might be exactly what you're looking for, but I'm out on West Sixth looking for something with more energy.

This is honestly a really dingy and dirty space for a buisness that promotes themselves as a place that is "Serving looks", and how the "dance floor is always hot." And to be perfectly real with you this claim that, "The Wiggle Room's got the grooves, the glitter, and the glam.." could not be more further from the truth. I've been a patron to this business countless times not for the location, (because it kinda sucks, no parking, hard to find) or the decor it's giving gross 70 budget motel that hasn't been properly cleaned or refurbished since) or the drinks (everything is so watered down or flat tasting) but for the community it created for queer people to enjoy Drag. When in reality they turn away queer people and our business. After two years of hosting a Drag Show here, the manangement turned away A Team of Drag Queens scheduled for last nights show (4/10) without any notice or pay.... This type of business is disgusting. If you love any queer person make sure you don't give these people your money. If I could leave zero stars I would. My bartender was beyond drunk to the point that it was disrespectful. Her name was Georgia. When she came up to me and asked what I wanted to order I barely could understand her from how much she was slurring her words. She didn't even ring my drink in or ever make it, she walked out with some customer.

Great service, fun young crowd, awesome dancing and I didn't have to pay to pick music!! We felt like oldies being 40 but still had a blast. Thank you Andrew and Tanner for a memorable time in Austin.

The vibe of this place is so not Austin. Very aggressive patrons and bartenders alike. I wouldn't go here if it was the last standing place to get a drink in Austin.

This place absolutely sucks. Extremely overpriced, extremely rude. Wiggle... more like Jiggle bc this place is a FLOP! You will never see me step foot into that establishment ever again and every time I hear that somebody will be going to that establishment I will do everything I can to convince them otherwise. Nicely decorated bar off of west 6th. I enjoyed the laidback atmosphere of this place. It's a nice little haven in the midst of the chaos that surrounds it. The drinks were decently priced and the music was good. I'll be stopping by again.

This is a little cool cocktail lounge on the West side off of 6th street near the Star Bar. I was told about this place by my muay Thai coach at my gym. I had looked up the menu before coming here and will note the cocktails are a little pricey. I landed on a Singapore sling and my husband got an old fashioned. I loved the old-fashioned even though I am not an old-fashioned gal. The Singapore sling was not overall sweet which I enjoyed even more. The inside and outside vibes were aesthetically pleasing. We sat outside in the lounge area on couches. It would be great for a smaller group. I would also recommend reservations as this place can get busy. We got lucky to get in without them.

I'm a bit torn on this place. I had seen it hyped up so much on all of the austin influencer accounts and it was made to look like a groovy disco dancing bar. We were excited and paid the $10 a person to make a reservation a month in advance. That was ridiculous, because when we showed up there was only one other party there, and probably 8 open booths, an empty middle table, and an empty "VIP Lounge". The $40 we paid for our reservation was a complete waste. We asked if we could sit at the larger table in the corner, and we're told that it was the "VIP Lounge" and we would have to pay an extra $50 per person to sit there (mind you, while it was completely empty in there). It's odd that they wouldn't just ask us to buy a bottle or two instead of another waste of an empty $200 ($50 X 4) just for a seating area. The drink menu starts at $15 for every single thing, including the "ranch water on draft". You'd expect the draft item to be at least a little cheaper than everything else? The ranch water was a strong drink though. I got the Saturn cocktail and it was good, but it's a shame to pay $15 for a small glass with so much ice that I took about 3 sips of each drink. The ambiance and decor was a cool western vibe. I especially liked the outdoor patio, but it was freezing the night we visited. The strange thing was that this disco bar had no dance floor, and instead a massive table in the middle of what would be the dance floor. The music was also not what I had expected at all. It was solely country western music, which can be nice sometimes, but they could really use some more dance or bar type music mixed in. Overall I was a little disappointed. If the reservation was free, as all other reservations are in Austin, it would've made a better first impression. It's a cool space but it might be best as a patio spot on a warm day, and not as a pregame or dancing bar.

Stay away!!! Funny how most of the reviews are from people who have one review on Yelp and it's the wiggle room. Instead of addressing their issues they choose to find people to post fake reviews.

this is a hella fun, cool cocktail lounge on West 6th that my friends & i have been frequenting on Saturday nights. the music/DJs consistently on point with bangers and hype, uppity vibes. the cocktail servers and bartender staff here couldn't be more genuine, kind, accommodating, patient, quick, & knowledgeable. we come in here and act like hooligans n fools, but they always make us feel somewhat classy doing it we typically get one of the handful of booths with bottles, and just boogie n drink the night away....love the bigass disco ball in the middle of the dance floor, the 70s decor + energy, and the low moody lighting. a few sat nights ago, we managed to snag the big private room they have, & had an absolute, 10/10 Top Night!!! get yo groove onnnn

Super fun and welcoming with a nice dance floor to wiggle whatcha' got! I was impressed with the cocktails and the attention the servers paid to our table...we never had to look for her to order drinks...she would just see that our glasses needed to be freshened up. We will be back to wiggle and spend time with friends. The DJ was fantastic and had me moving all night.

Ok, fresh from the bar on a random Thursday night... it was awesome. I'm so happy they had real actual crafted cocktails and the employees were SO nice! There's so many cool sections of this small bar. I'm still a little shocked on what a great night we had.... Thank you, wiggle room!

Sheltered from rain when it was too early for other bars nearby to be open and couldn't quite make out what "wiggle room" is about. For a wiggle room, there wasn't a lot of wiggling. There wasn't even music worth wiggling to, but they did have the appropriate disco lights set up inside that would give the illusion of wiggling. Ordered espresso martinis to start our evening strong (and awake!) and considering our bartender bravely said yes and then proceeded to ask someone for the recipe...we had pretty good espresso martinis! The coffee part could've been stronger IMO but I've noticed coffee around here tends to be weak so it could just be me. We plopped outside in an eclectically decorated (Thai tigers?) outdoor seating area with good heating.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem! The music was rocking, the drinks were excellent and the owner introduced himself as we came to the soft opening! I can't wait to go back and dance w friends again!

The bartenders are extremely rude and unprofessional. Bartenders peaked in college and have no actual bar experience. Go elsewhere.

My favorite bar/club! We go here after concerts or a downtown dinner. We have visited with friends and they easily accommodate bigger groups. The bar does a good job of keeping lines down and doing whatever they need to do to keep the place moving. Spacious, comfy patio. They have more bathrooms than the bars nearby, which is much appreciated by my small-bladder friends. I always enjoy the music. It's usually a mix of old and new. My favorite was hearing a Robyn song remixed. Wiggle Room is funky, friendly, and fun. Kick it with friends, invite more to join you, and make new friends while you're there. When we bring people for the first time they always comment how awesome it is. Check it out, you'll be glad you did. Good vibes at Wiggle Room!!

Very chill, which was exactly what we wanted! Nice to have a decent red wine available, since I don't drink beer or cocktails. Our server was very attentive. We had a lot of fun!

I can't understand why this place wasn't packed! It's so lovely and the drinks are phenomenal. If they were in KC, they'd be full 24/7. I do hope more people get the gusto to come in and sit for a cocktail or two. It's a perfect spot to get a vibe on, dance, and still converse.

I just want to say that Ryder, our bartender, was super Respectful and such of a positive light, even in a low light room he lit the room up with his genuine spirit and big smile You rock man Never Change!

I had a blast both times I've been to this amazing venue. Great d vibe to either have great drinks, relax with friends, or throw your dance moves on the floor. If you haven't been definitely come get a Ranch water after eating dinner at Ranch 616.

The aesthetic is dope and the cocktail menu boasts some bold options... but they're executed poorly. You can't taste half the ingredients in the specialty cocktails, which is what makes them interesting. One I tried smelled like durian and tasted like drinking perfume. I am no stranger to funky cocktails but this was on a new level. Don't know what the miss was since I was told the menu was created by a dude who worked Midnight Cowboy and Odd Duck... both known for stellar beverage programs. As someone who just enjoys booze, I was more knowledgeable on the bottle offerings than the staff, which is always annoying when a place sells itself as being THE spot for amazing cocktails, and there's not a ton of options. Basically REALLY wanted this to be my sexy go to spot for early in the week (limited crowds) and don't think I'd order anything where I didn't ask for exactly the ingredients I wanted. Was really expecting more hospitality and customer service from the Ranch 616 group, who tends to do that pretty well. Another disappointment sent to commodify Austin's authenticity and bottle it into digestible options for unaware out of towners. Hopefully it's growing pains and I'll look to try them again in a few months.

Service impeccable, drinks spectacular &, location can't be beat! Hands down my new favorite spot in Austin! This place has serious vibes. As soon as you enter, you're transported to a magical disco world where your largest worry is if they'll ever play "I Feel Love" by Donna Summer. 10/10 will be visiting more regularly than I probably should.

As the "Little Sister or Brother" to Ranch 616, the Wiggle Room is the perfect blend of both "old school" and "new school" Austin. The intimate, warm and casually cool ambiance embodies the essence of "all things Austin" and is a great example of what attracts such an eclectic, educated, and dynamic crowd to our booming city. I've "wiggled around" Austin for a long time, and I'm ecstatic that we still have places with character that provide an opportunity to dance to both new and old tunes while sipping awesome craft cocktails.

Wow! I love this place. My friends and I just went to hang out and have a couple cocktails and ended up having a dance off. I haven't had this much fun in a long time. My cheeks are still hurting from smiling! India was our server and was amazing. Highly recommend.

We made a reservation for the official opening night on Friday. Upon walking up, there was nobody at the front door, nobody checking IDs, nobody to give any direction. So we wandered inside and sat down at a random table. It took over 10 minutes before a waiter walked up to our table and asked if it was ours and if we had reservations. We eventually got up and asked a bartender for a menu. Once we found a waiter, he was really friendly and helpful. However, the two different drinks we ordered were literally the worst drinks I've had in Austin. I can't describe how terrible the cocktails are here. They absolutely have to do something diffident with their drink menu. Overall the ambience is pretty cool, like a western disco vibe, but I can't look past the cocktails.

Laid-back vibe, quirky decor, a music mix that spans every genre, and well-made drinks. This might be my new hangout.

What a groovy vibe this place is! A welcome addition to Austin's lounge and mixology scene. Awesome drinks, good jams, and always a fun crowd. This will undoubtedly become a frequent and favorite spot for locals and out-of-towners alike. Hit Ranch 616 up next door for dinner, then end the night at Wiggle Room.

We had a great dinner at Ranch 616 next door and then headed over to the Wiggle Room to hang out with friends. This place was amazing, so much fun and really cool disco vibe with a great DJ and an area for dancing. We had so much fun, the place was kicking, great service and the drinks were very good. Definitely look forward to coming back.

Love it! An Austin classic! I've been waiting for this place to open- great place to reserve a table
