"Wild About Harry’s, founded by the late Harry Coley, Jr., has been in the custard game for twenty years. So obviously, the shakes served there are nothing to sneeze at. Take, for example, the Captain America: vanilla and chocolate custard, plus Hershey's syrup, vanilla syrup and sprinkles." - Rachel Pinn

"Beloved Dallas eatery for hotdogs and frozen custard Wild About Harry’s will reopen its former Knox-Henderson outpost in a new spot several blocks away from the original. Wild About Harry’s is set to debut July 1 at 4527 Travis Street thanks to its new landlord, The Retail Connection, which recently acquired a substantial portion of the Knox District. The landlord “felt strongly that the beloved hot dog and custard shop must go on,” according to a press release, and provided a “temporary space” on Travis Street." - Alaena Hostetter

This place is so awesome! The atmosphere is really fun and playful. It's great for lunch when you're out shopping or hanging out. Mm bulldog is sooo yum! And they have custard. I personally enjoy buttered pecan but they have multiple flavors.

I was excited to try a local, long-time small business's famous frozen custard, but I didn't feel like the quality was there. Tried several flavors which tasted like they had extracts, so I stuck with the Vanilla. I had gotten the turtle with caramel, chocolate, and pecans, but the pecans tasted stale and the sauces were also uh unappealing. I would hope that a small business would care more about their ingredient quality.

Really good doggos respecting the classic styles plus a few novelty ones. They also carry home-made ice cream that's creamy and rich. Personal favorite, Chicago dog, very authentic.

Solid Chicago dog, but a little pricey. I would've had two if they weren't about $6 each... Maybe you could add a two dog special menu item? Onion rings needed a dipping sauce on the side.

Perfect Cheat Meal, and great way to end the year... Couldn't decide between chili cheese and Sauerkraut, so I got both + Onion Rings...

I actually ended up not eating there because I saw how the person that was cooking did not wash his hands and was eating while preparing the food. Also they took back an order that was wrong and place the bag on the top counter where they are preparing the food, now with all this virus going around this was by far the worst possible thing they could do.

Our office staff loves the food at Wild About Harry's! We used to get lunch from here often and they never disappointed with the high-quality food AND customer service. I highly recommend stopping by Wild About Harry's and having a meal.

Friendly staff. Venue is on the small side with only a few tables and a couple outside but worth the trip is you are in Dallas.
