If you want to talk about a place that makes you feel at home and special at the same time, you are talking about St. Paul's Wild Bill's sports bar. Great service, great food, and such special attention. I was a vip even if I only make it to 2 times a year

Google
Great place - the Steakhouse wrap was fantastic. Drinks are mixed strong and worth the cost which was affordable. 8 pm the rooftop opened up and gave a nice view of the street. Looking forward to breakfast there tomorrow!

Google
A great place to get food and drinks, and its connected to the Holiday Inn! I recommend the pulled pork potato skins. Our server Ash was lovely. The music can be a bit loud but otherwise this is a great place to be! :)

We came in late, about closing time, hoping to get something to eat. The young lady who greeted us was very gracious and welcoming. She made sure we were comfortable and told us to take our time, not to rush. Thank you, Haley. We appreciate you.

I will admit that I didn't expect anything from this place, but it made me very happy. We were staying the connected hotel for a concert, and had dinner plans elsewhere before the concert, so I though we would have no reason to come to Wild Bill's. However, after the concert, we were starving again, and most of the restaurants near our hotel were closed by that time, so we decided to give this saloon a try. After all, they were open, serving food and literally calling us in from the sidewalk! We ordered burgers, which came very quickly and they really hit the spot! Wild Bill's understood the crowd, too--they kept the post-concert vibe gong by playing songs and concert clips by the same artist as well as similar artists. The energy was great, and allowed us to wind down from a good time with some good food. The next morning, we returned to Wild Bill's for breakfast before heading back home. The breakfast options were simple and few, but we each had a delicious egg and hash browns breakfast, and I actually enjoyed the break from decision fatigue. Again, the servers were cheerful and quick, and the food came out swiftly.

Went down to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra last December. Came down early in hopes of watching the North Dakota State Bison semi-final game The staff put the game on the main screen, so myself and another 20 or so fans could watch the game. They made us feel welcome, very accommodating, and cheered on the Bison with us! The only problem was there was a group of people nearby in the bar that had way too much to drink, and were a bit too loud

We were in town for the Niall Horan concert across the street at Xcel Center. Boy, did this place understand the assignment! From the music playlist, the custom drink menu, to the stellar (quick!) service - everything was tailored to getting us in, fed and on our way to the concert! All that said, the food and drinks were awesome! I tried one of the “Niall cocktails” and it was delicious! We shared the Cowboy Sampler for an appetizer- all very good, but the candied bacon was the star! My oldest had the Cajun Ranch burger and said it was one of the best burgers she’d had in a long time! Husband loved the pulled pork sandwich, and I shared the southwest chicken quesadillas with my youngest. It was perfectly crispy and gooey, and not shy of fillings. Our server was very busy, but attentive and kept us informed if she was delayed. A+! The vibe was fun, and the patio area looked really fun although we chose to sit inside. All in all, we’d definitely come back!

The atmosphere is unmatched. Everyone is having an amazing time. The food is impeccable as well, the cheese curds and queso were phenomenal. And Laurice provided amazing service, nice as can be and attentive.

Yelp
Stopped in before a hockey game, food was pretty good. We sat at the bar and service was good. We ordered some drinks, really good, and some apps. I do wish they had just normal waffle fries instead of the cajun but over delicious with seasoned sour cream. Good option if you are going to the Xcel or Ordway.

Yelp
Food is decent. Service decent. Vibe is good. Location is great - albeit not super convenient with the parking - but it's located at one of the hearts of dtwn st paul. While not blown away, I can't find anything wrong with this spot. Check it oit

Yelp
Went here for the first time before a show at excel. We had excellent service, good food and a fun time. We realized my wife's purse wouldn't get through security and the manager offered to keep the purse in a safe for us. It was super nice . Kudos to Stephen and Jess!!!

Yelp
Hands down, Nakeiya is the best part of Wild Bill's. She's fast, friendly, and makes a killer drink. Even on a busy night, she's got the bar under control and always brings the good vibes. If you're at Wild Bill's, sit at her bar--you won't regret it.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast before an 11am show at the xcel energy center and was happy with my experience. They have a small breakfast menu but it has plenty to offer. We ordered mimosas and I got the omelet with fresh fruit and bread. The breakfast was good and came out pretty fast and was tasty. We basically licked our plates. The place was done up with decor for the holidays which was a fun aspect and we even had a 4 year old in our party who loved the inflatable Santa! I'd be interested to stop in during bar time to see the vibe.

Yelp
We are in town for the Tom Segura show tonight and decided to have supper at Wild Bills sports saloon, our server Nakeiya was so great! She was fast, sweet and fun to talk to. We wish her all the best in her pursuit of becoming an aviator. The food was almost as good as her service! Thank you Nakeiya!!

Yelp
This bar passes all tests when it comes to dive bars. Reasonably priced drinks delicious fried food Ability to gamble (pull tabs) Abundance of tvs...also Cannot speak enough to the lemon pepper wings. The wings were crispy and perfectly seasoned with some of the best rub I've had. We went two nights in a row and on the second night I had them toss my fries in the seasoning it was so good. Although I didn't get a photo the cheese curds were also incredible by out of town standards (IN) I'm sure there are some darn good cheese curds in this part of the US.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst costumer service you will encounter in downtown St. Paul. The bouncer at the bar could not have been more rude. Smirked as he wouldn't let a group through to get his power trip and said you haven't been here so I'm not letting you in. Place was full and just after 1am with a 2am closing. Wanted to like this place but it turned out to be a disappointment. Don't recommend this place at all.

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel this place is connect to and called for a 10pm snack. The hotel advertises the menu along with being able to get room service up until very late at night.... I can't remember the time but it's mentioned on the menu. When I called to make my order they first told me they could not do the room service because they didn't have the staff. Mind you.. it was a Thursday night and there was an event at the arena across the street. You would think they would be fully staffed because of the event but apparently not. They said I could place an order and pick it up in the main lobby so I proceeded to do that and I only wanted dessert and so when I tried to order the (advertised on the menu) carrot cake, she told me they did not have carrot cake. So....Basically, there was nothing else they could help me with so unfortunately this place is a Fail! I didn't end up ordering anything.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my folks, well happy hour actually. Out of everything on the menu, not much sounded very good, so we ended up ordering wings and a basket of waffle fries. Fries were nicely seasoned, wings were meh, nothing special. Our waitress was nice but was hard to find when we were ready to checkout. Based on other reviews, not sure it's worth coming back, which is a shame because I live so close to this place!

Yelp
We came here after a birthday dinner and had a blast. The server we had was very polite and very positive. We had a few drinks and played pull tabs. The drinks and shots were great and definitely a place to come back as it's super close to the Xcel Energy Center. We couldn't find the main entrance and foyer a locked gate and was told to turn around. When you're walking, don't go to far past the median entrance.

Yelp
We stayed in the Holiday Inn and decided to give this place a try. The barbecue mac and cheese was incredible. The ribs were juicy and fell right off the bone. The drinks here are also good prices and pretty strong. Atmosphere is good and the waitresses are all nice.

Yelp
This place was so so packed, we just sat at a dirty table. It was fine and they eventually cleaned some of the food up around us. Hard to find where the host was because you can come in different places. But overall they have good food for people who have been drinking. Would recommend the chips and queso for sure

Yelp
Came home to write this review. We just spent $170 on 3 adults and one toddler to have lunch. The service was horrendous. We were laughing that we thought she was mad at us for being there. Took her 20 min to come to table . Grumpy mean attitude. The food was nasty. $18 for a frozen burger with no flavor. The $17 quesadilla was inedible. We took one bite out of the 4 triangles and couldn't eat it- the chicken was strange and tasted off. You would think a good server would notice that we hadn't eaten it - but nope! Chicken finger came with 3 in the platter --- what?! Also had to ask for dipping sauce twice. Lastly we came here because they say on the website they have sports on tvs - we wanted to watch the ku basketball game and asked 4 different people to put it on and it never happened we ended up watching women's basketball the whole time. Save your money go literally anyplace else.

Yelp
Today my mom & I had lunch at Wild Bills before we went to Xcel for the Wild game. We had an awesome waitress named Lauren. She was ready to go & take our order. She checked in on us to see how our meal was, asked us if we needed anything else. I highly recommend her!!

Yelp
I want to start this off by saying I was impressed by our server (Audrey I believe her name was) and the food was traditional bar food that you would expect. It was good and came out hot. I want to say I was unimpressed and our family was so uncomfortable by the manager on duty. She was swearing, laughing loudly and talking across the restaurant. Going back and forth between what I believe was probably her friends table and the bar. She walked past our table and just reeked like marijuana. It was intoxicating to be around especially with our kids. I thought it was more of a family friendly restaurant and herself gave me dive bar feel with her language and profanity. I was very unimpressed. I'm actually shocked she has a job within management. It left a bad taste in my mouth. We were going to get dessert but decided to leave and spend the rest of our evening at a neighboring restaurant for dessert which was much more professional and less intense.

Yelp
Busy setting before the Springsteen concert at the Xcel sat at the bar service was good got my water and drink right away. Ordered dry rub chicken wings at 12 pieces too large a portion for just me and got a box to take back to my room which worked well after the show. All in all a good experience

Beef On D.

Yelp
well let's start with when we walked in they sat us in the vary back of a empty bar or a Tuesday night...so we asked to sit a a different table and wasn't severed or even asked if we wanted a water...after about ten minutes of sitting there we went to the bar order a beer and left...over all no reason to be impressed at all

Yelp
I REALLY want to like this place, because I live within walking distance, but the experience varies too greatly based on who's working, how busy they are, and blind luck. Half the time, the Nashville Hot chicken wings are the best. Other times? inedible. Takeout? Horrible. This is crazy. For example, We visited recently with a coupon for free chips and queso. Chips were stale and cheese was coagulated. Not even worth the price of 'free.' Why offer a promo for something that you can't serve well? Could be a management or staffing issue. Either way, there are better, more consistent spots on 7th until they figure it out.

Yelp
The red head bartender gave us great service. I can't wait to come back and see her again

Yelp
My girlfriend and I stop in for a burger. It arrived dry and cold with wilted onion. When we spoke to the waitress she did nothing about it. We will Never Go there again!

Yelp
Lauren is the best waitress!! She always makes us feel important and has a great smile!!

Yelp
I'm sorry I do not recommend this restaurant at all I sent my first order back it was horrible and requested nachos got the nachos the ground beef was so hard it was either over cooked or it was something that was in refrigerator for a few days and they put in the microwave and sent them back out I do not recommend this place there were other people that had dinner that night that I went and they were on satisfied as well try something else.

Yelp
Unbelievably terrible service. Didn't get to try the food, never got waited on Visited twice after a Wild game and one visit was as bad as the next. Two managers standing at the podium looking around like they are lost. Bartenders/servers are basically unable to serve more than one person at a time. Plastic cups for everything inside? You are not on a college campus! I suggest you shut down and retrain people that actually want to make money. Will not be back. Such a great location wasted!

Janice R.

Yelp
Should have read reviews first...We wanted an outdoor patio and husband and I remembered fave HH's at the Liffey (which also had not so good food). It is so in need of an update. Plants and some decor would help to make it more welcoming. There were few people up there and yet service was slow. Server was nice enough. Food was okay. Husbands blackened tacos were not. It was just okay. So many places to go that are better. It seems like a wasted opportunity on a place that could be so much better.

Yelp
One of the worst places I've been to since moving to the twin cities. Staff has no knowledge of what they are serving, the kitchen takes forever, and the management seems to be non existent. I could barely get a drink for 2 hours and when i did it sat on my table for just as long. There are much better places to get food/drink in the area.

Yelp
Great service and food tonight! Stayed a little later to make us some food when they didn't have to! Thanks guys!

Ted S.

Yelp
Wild Bill saloon has really good food! The only issue we had is the air conditioner wasn't working today. But Stephen, the bartender, with his sense of humor made up for that, and we really enjoyed him and his excellent and exceptional service! Thanks again, my man.

Andrew J.

Yelp
This bar is amazing. The employees are the reason to come back. The drinks are perfect. The food is the kind of Bar food you hope for. if you get the chance make sure you get Logan to be your bartender. He is attentive and always gets the order right. if you find yourself In St Paul you need to go to this saloon, you'll never regret it.

DJ S.

Yelp
Some girlfriends and I went dancing here on Saturday night. We had a great time dancing in a fun, safe atmosphere and everyone was friendly.

Annie K.

Yelp
Got drinks with my girlfriends at Wild Bills tonight and we ran into some guys that we knew. The bouncer went out of his way to make sure that we knew them and were comfortable with them talking to us. Although we knew them, A+ review for the security at this bar!

Jessica S.

Yelp
They advertise they're open till 2 AM but evidently make up their hours depending on what kind of crowd they "could" have. The place was pretty busy on a recent Sunday night watching a football game. Yet without warning and for reasons still unclear the bartender made last call and cleared the place out by 11 PM. When I inquired with the manager the next day as to why he informed me they do sometimes close early because it gets "rough in" there at night sometimes. OK well this was 1030 on a Sunday night and all I saw were multiple groups of French speaking Canadians in your restaurant having a good time. The bartender and servers attitudes couldn't be worse and it was clear they weren't there for the money or pleasing the customer. Stay far away! There's lots of other places to spend your money on West seventh.

Cody K.

Yelp
We waited 45 minutes for our food then our server came to ask us about if we were good. We said no, our food had not come. She said she the kitchen was swamped but our appetizers came out earlier without much delay around 6 PM. She came back 10 minutes later saying that they were having printer issues in the kitchen and our ticket never printed. It's funny because I could see the window and tickets were printing over and over and being worked by the cooks. I guarantee that she never put in our food order and was just spouting lies. She made an effort to not look at our table every time she walked by while trying to think of more excuses. I would think she would know that the printer was not working. Avoid this place, it's a joke but it's not funny.

Yelp
The Culinary visit to St. Paul is not complete without a meal from Wild Bill's Sports Saloon. In the refined restaurant of the Holiday inn, on the elegant 7th street, Wild Bill's is combining Flavors only found in the finest restaurants of Paris with the aura of an ancient Greek temple. On my recent visit we feasted on seared duck with Asian vegetables, scallops served in the shell with a purée of celeriac, the southwest egg rolls, flavorful roast chicken (served on Sundays only), and Basque cheese with black cherry jam. I washed this succulent meal down with 19 of their famous Long Island iced teas, made by one of their charming mixologists. The food was so delicious, that after my meal I was frozen in a food-induced psychosis that I was unable to break from for almost 7 hours. It's been 6 days since I was last at Wild Bill's and I'm still trembling from the absolutely breathtaking experience. I haven't slept, I refuse to eat anything that isn't from Wild Bills, my wife left me, I can't feel the tip of my penis, my life is in complete and utter misery because I can't spend every waking minute and every hard earned dollar I've ever made as a smell tester for AXE body spray at Wild Bill's Sports Saloon.

Yelp
This is my new favorite place in downtown stp! Great service. Damn good bar food! Jennifer and Shane rock!
