"With Musang closed, Miranda and her team pivoted by opening their next-door catering space, Wild Cats, as a restaurant and expanding the hours of Kilig." - Harry Cheadle

Sister restaurant to the acclaimed Musang, Wild Cats Catering has a private event space next door to the main restaurant. The overall experience leaves Wild Cats a solid choice for anyone looking to book out a restaurant event space. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the space itself was large enough to privately seat 10. The courses selected for us were great and catered to all tastes. They weren't substantial for vegetarians, but the menu was written beforehand, so our party was able to work around that upon seeing the courses. The space did not have a full service bar, so sadly no cocktails could be ordered, but wine, beer, and tea is available. Thankfully, the bathroom is also located within the private event space, as opposed to part of the main restaurant, and also includes a baby changing area, if needed.

I came here since Musang's website mentioned they are closed due to a pipe freezing but literally two doors down is their catering company. The fish was fishy. A fishy taste is quite a turnoff. The sauce that came with the cod was good, more complex flavor. I had to drown the fish in sauce to try to hide how fishy it was. The short ribs missed the spot. The flavor was heavy and salty. This dish was nearly $50 , so even though it was meh, I am going to finish it. House shrub was not refreshing at all, it was overly sour. Rice is extra. Automatic 22% tip for service that was worth 15% at the best. John Howie has an automatic tip but their service makes sense. Street parking for this area has a 2 hour limit on weekdays.

They went out of their way to accommodate us, a walk-in for a party of 6 on a Friday night. I truly admire the level of service all of the Musang restaurants provide. I only have good experiences here and the food is super yummy. Their pompano fish for tonights special was to die for. I don’t think there’s anything on the menu that you can go wrong with. It’s nice to have something different in Seattle. Truly a gem. Their corn bibingka is a must. I think I’ll order one for myself next time because it’s too good to share. Thanks to the entire team!

Food was great, love the pnw twist to the filipino food, the seasoning and sauce were amazing (slightly on the saltier sode). We ordered the scallops, black cod, short ribs and the shrimp soup. However the service here is probably the worst I have had in Seattle. When we arrived, all servers had a really serious, non smiling face. When we got seated and got our food ordered and served, it gave us all an impression that the server just want to get the day over soon. No smiling, no greetings, no thank you, nothing. When we done paying, she just took our check and left. I was expecting at least a 'thank you for joinjng, have a great night', but she didn't even say thank you when we left. This place has a mandatory 22% service charge, I was expecting at least a decent service. However, the service we have got is definitely worth a 22% charge!! Food was pretty good, but due to the bad service, we all agreed we would not return unless the service is better.

We used Wild Cats Catering for our rehearsal lunch in advance of our Wedding in February. We had the chance to eat at Musang at the end of last year and were thrilled to see that some of their same dishes were also available for catering. We fed ~50 people (and probably could have fed 100 with all the leftovers). The food was absolutely incredible and everyone raved about it. We were also very pleased with the price. We were expecting within our budget to have much more basic food, but Wild Cats made it so we were able to have amazing Filipino food that a lot of our guests hadn't had the opportunity to try before.

Fastest I’ve ever blown +$100. Friend invited me here & I didn’t look up anything before hand, but was pretty sticker shocked when I looked at the menu, but I guess that was my fault. Eyebrows went up a little higher when the server told us it was recommended to order 3-4+ dishes for two people. Everything we ate was super yummy, although the meatballs & broth was pretty plain. Portions are small. The food came out fast & we were too hungry to really savor it, We were in & out in 45 minutes, with a hearty bill. It was cold enough inside I kept my jacket on. Even though food was good the whole experience was not worth the price, & I would spend it elsewhere. But I love the concept & flavors!

We went there just after Valentine's day. Wild Cats is a small and cozy location. The place wasn't busy that day. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit. We had the Lumpia Shanghai and Kare Kare and loved both dishes. The Lumpia had a crisp outside and a very dense and delicious filling. The Kare Kare had a more savory flavor than is traditional, but that's why I personally liked it even more than usual. We had a lovely evening there and will definitely return to this place.

I used Wildcats to cater a major event for the City of Seattle. They were responsive through the entire process, from helping us pick out menu options, to their patience with the complicated payment systems. The food was delivered on time, the service was friendly and great, and I would use them again in a heartbeat. And most important of all, the food was INCREDIBLE. Thanks Wildcats!
