Wild Child Gym

We discovered Wild Child back in September when the little one was about 9 months old. He’s an only child and was very attached to his parents. He cried at every class, but we kept taking him consistently. He turned 1 just before the new year and started 2025 as a completely new kid. Because of the LA fires (and the sudden necessity to entertain him indoors while the air quality was bad), we signed up for the Unlimited Class Package. Boy was it worth it —so much so that we’re continuing to do it the following month. Since it’s only a ten minute walk from home, we practically live at Wild Child, which has brought him so close to Coach Ben-Oni (who also practically lives there). She has endless energy and good vibes, and he adores her. She’s fantastic with kids of all ages, as we’ve witnessed at the Wild Play times. We feel so lucky she’s there. All of the other coaches are lovely, and our boy has warmed up to them as well. It’s a great place for babies/kids to not only socialize with their peers but also with new adults, since the parents/nannies are always present. Having this space has done wonders for our little one’s development and confidence. Thank you Wild Child!

I have been taking my grandson to the Wild Child Gym in Culver City since he was 7 months old. It is one of the best experiences that he and I have shared since moving to the area two years ago! The staff is amazing (special shout-out to Coach Ben-Na-Ni and to Coach Audrey) and wonderfully kind and patient with the kids; the facility is always clean and welcoming; and it is a great way to meet other children and families in the area. I highly recommend the Wild Child Gym - and am very grateful for this resource in the community!

Really enjoyed the structured class for our eleven month old crawler (in the movers class - classes based on age and have sign up capacity, which you can check online on their website). A nice balance between free time to explore the different centers and movement opportunities around the space, as well as time to engage in an opening and closing circle and specific activities throughout the class (balancing, climbing, crawling, sensory exploration, and sliding). Also a really nice way for kids and families to connect. $38 drop in or $125 for four structured sessions and four unstructured (free gym time but all ages up to 8, I think, so might not be as great for the little ones?). The indoor class is 45 min and the outdoor one at Carlson Park is 30 min. The four week pass is billed monthly. Don't forget to wear socks (but if you do, they have some for you). Masks required indoors. They also had a cute gift shop. Stroller parking inside. Car parking - on street or at nearby garage around the corner (first hour is free and $1 for every 30 min after that, I believe).

Took my daughter to a birthday party a few weeks ago which was in a word, 'OK.' It wasn't that there was anything wrong with it, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary and a lot of the kids were wandering around bored after the first 30 mins. There just wasn't enough to keep them engaged. I'd go back if it was a rainy day for something to do but being honest, there are far better gyms on the Westside. I then emailed when I saw on Instagram they had a waitlist for a new baby class. Turns out it's a list they're creating to see who's interested in a class that may - or may not - be happening. Verdict - Underwhelming. If you have nothing to do with your kids, this place is 'fine'.

We just had my daughter’s 3rd birthday here! The staff are the sweetest! I have guests at the age range of 18 months to 8 years and ALL of them had so much fun same as parents! This place is really clean, very safe and has the sweetest and mist helpful staff . Thank you Wild Child to make my daughter’s birthday very special 💕

We hosted my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Wild Child this past weekend and had an AMAZING experience every step of the way! The prep call gave me clarity on what to expect and some great ideas for food and favors for our guests. The staff provided 5-star service before and throughout the event. It was so nice to get to enjoy the party and not worry about the actual execution as every detail was handled so seamlessly. Would highly recommend as a destination for kid’s birthday parties!

My niece was in town over the weekend and we were looking for fun activities in the rainy weather over the weekend here in Los Angeles, and had an incredible experience at Wild Child. She has yet to start daycare, and so the experience to be around other kids of her age was a little intimidating for her at first, but the staff was incredibly welcoming, and she had the best time. With an extra great nap at the end of it! Making sure I book her in again when she’s back in town !

Wild Child Gym is a fantastic venue for kids' birthday parties. The facility is designed to be both fun and safe, with a variety of interactive play areas that keep children entertained. From climbing structures to obstacle courses, there's plenty to engage kids of all ages. The staff at the party were enthusiastic and well-organized, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that the kids had a blast. The clean, colorful environment and the range of activities make it a perfect choice for a memorable celebration. If you're looking for a place that offers a great mix of fun and safety for a kids' party, Wild Child Gym is an excellent option.

The space itself was pretty tiny and crowded, but the trial was pretty decent since the trainers during the trial were energetic and fun, and that's why we subscribed to the monthly classes. However, during the actual classes, the trainers were lethargic and activities are very repetitive. The class times are also way too early to be useful, we had to take our kids home early from day care in order to use the classes. We later learnt that the instructor during the trial was actually the owner, no wonder. In my opinion, this place is not quite worth the price. They need better trainers and more time slots.

Thank you Wild Child Gym for throwing such a fun and amazing 6th birthday party for my son. Everything was very smooth from the initial reservations to the day of the party and setting up for the party. Coach Audrey and Coach Sierra were super helpful and friendly throughout the process. They were there on the day of the party to help set everything up and also take care of the birthday party. We had 3 coaches help run the party. I couldn't remember the name of the 3rd Coach but she was super friendly and nice as well. My son and all his friends really enjoyed the party. Especially the highlight of the party had the end when they had a bubble dance party. Thank you to everyone at Wild child gym for making my son's birthday such a memorable one! Everyone had a blast!

I first visited Wild Child Gym with my then one-year old about two months ago at the recommendation of a mom friend. We enrolled in the Cruisers class even though she couldn't walk yet. My daughter had so much fun crawling around, singing, dancing, and interacting with the staff. I loved the class so much, I told all my mom friends about it (and of course posted about it on my IG), and they ended up visiting and loving it too. WCG recently had a silent auction in support of the Maui fire. I won one of the gift cards, and Wai personally dropped it off at my house to ensure it wouldn't get lost in the mail. Talk about customer service!!! Thank you! I can't rave about this place enough. If you've been curious, just go. Every kid will have a blast here.

I love wild child! I take my baby here once a week. Highly recommend. Everyone who works here seems to love what they do, and they're all very knowledgeable about babies and their development.

Ah! I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I've been coming here since they first opened and after Covid and all that good stuff. I've celebrated my daughter birthday here and taken both of my kids to classes here. Great place to socialize your kids and meet other parents. Activities are always fun and clever. We love the puppet shows. All the staff are kind and friendly and remember your names! There is free one hour parking in the public lot around the corner. We go to the am classes so never have an issue parking in the lot and walking right over. One thing that stands out is there are so incredibly accommodating when it comes to pausing membership and scheduling classes. My work schedule changes all the time and everyone was so patient and helpful with me! Special shot out to Jackee. Sorry for all the emails. You rock! Anyways, wild child is a joy to be at and a wonderful place to have your kids birthday party at!

Best kids gym ever! There is no place like WC. So kind, so fun- the owners care so much about our kids and community. 100 stars!

It was great for a birthday party for our friends' 2 year old boy. Kids had so much fun with the gym's staff, who came up with many awesome games. The space is really nice in that there's enough space for kids to run, and there's a cool hill for them to climb, etc. There is a separate area where you can have a bite outside of play area. Overall, would recommend for children parties. Haven't tried their classes yet but I may try soon

This place was great. My child was thoroughly entertained. Love that you can always drop into a class. They offer class passes at a reasonable price. We will be going back!

My kids absolutely love Wild Child! The space is ADORABLE, the classes are magical, and my kids can't get enough of the fun instructors. They leave and sing the "aloha" song all week. As a busy parent, I appreciate the beautiful space to hang out in and cute store on site where I can shop while they play. I also appreciate their commitment to keep the play spaces well sanitized so no one gets sick - we get enough of that at school! We will be back soon!

As an update, Coach Wai and I have gotten to the bottom of how we each saw things play out that day, and I feel good about changing my review to reflect how kind and understanding he is and the concern he showed to how my daughter and I felt that day. I hope we can come again sometime.

There is so much thought and research behind how these children are taught from three months on. Functional movements , creative activities and socialization but mostly fun are at the forefront of this spirit of Aloha play space.

What a fun place for a birthday party! My 6yr old and all his friends had a blast running around for over an hour. There were 3 staff members engaging with the kids so the parents can hang out on the other side of the play yard and have a conversation. We saw versions of dodge ball, parachute, basket ball that the staff led with the kids.

Had the most amazing birthday party for my 6-year-old here recently. What a special place. The teachers really know how to engage the kids, it's like magic! My son and his friends were glowing from start to finish. The decorations were amazing, and they even have the best suggestions for food and drinks that all worked out perfectly. They really care about what they do and it shows. 10/10!

Came here for my friend's daughter's 5th birthday and it was the cutest birthday party I've been to. The staff make it so much more fun by engaging with the kids in games and activities.

This is one of the best organized birthday parties I have attended for my son who is 2 and we have been to a lot of parties! Brian led the party and he and his staff did a wonderful job! They kept a bunch of 2 year olds engaged in many games and activities. They had parachute, a puppet show, and more! They have many items for kids to climb and crawl through as well as lots of fun secret hiding spots. I don't venture out to the Culver City area that often, but this place is definitely fun to check out if you are in the area!

I was visiting the area for a couple days and needed an activity for my 2 year old. She had a blast. It only took a couple minutes to come out of her shell. The instructors did a great job of encouraging her and she enjoyed each activity. I noticed that they cleaned between each class which was a big plus. I wish my city had a Wild Child Gym!

Although my 1 year old had a blast the two times we've been here(both visits months apart) he caught the only colds he's ever had. I'm not sure what their cleaning/sanitizing practices are but they're clearly not great.

Your little one will have a blast! We took our daughter for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had so much fun. She didn't want to leave! The teachers are above and beyond. They immediately addressed all the kids by their names. I at one point wiped some boogies off of my daughter's face and one of the teachers had a wipe before I could even ask for one. Excited to take my daughter back!

First off I hate the fact that I am writing this but unfortunately I have no other choice and here we are. Not sure who handles the billing at this place but we have called not once but 6 times to get this taken care of. We recently moved and knew getting to Culver City would be a pain so we decided to cancel our membership and see what the options were for our left over sessions. Sad to say that after many calls and promises that it would be taken care of it still has yet to happen and honestly has been a nightmare. We have been charged for 2 extra months even after speaking to two different employees over the phone . We have left voicemails and given the story over and over and nothing has been done.

Excellent place for kids. Always clean and such wonderful individuals work here. My daughter absolutely loves this place.

Super cute classes for my now 1.5 year old, she loves it. The activities really encourage development and promote imagination. Every week is different, it's my daughter's favorite part of the week. The staff is great and really cares. And it's the cleanest kids play area I've ever seen!

My son and I absolutely love this place! We've been three times This week! So happy that he has a big open place to crawl around and play safely. Will definitely come back more and get a membership.

We are over the moon with how our daughter's first birthday party turned out. Honestly, it was absolutely perfect. The staff did a wonderful job from the set up, entertainment, making our daughter feel so special, and the clean up. There was a moment that I got teary eyed because of how perfect the day turned out. Highly recommend! We're regulars at Wild Child and we're so glad we entrusted them with her birthday.

Went here with my 16 month old nephew this weekend for 11am free play. Cat was there supervising and I was very impressed with how she assisted in some guided play and redirection when necessary. My sister took him there before when the owner Wai was running classes and she was also super impressed with welcoming demeanor and ability to remember everyone's names! An aesthetically pleasing spot for my eyes while letting a toddler run around.

My Son & Daughter in law invited us to join them for play day at Wild Child! Best place in town.. Clean place & Friendly people... Very organized activities, music & my Favorite was the Puppet Show :) All the kids mesmerised by the music & Puppet show, ADORABLE! My grandson Dallas was so involved & loving every minute! My husband and I have brought our 11-month old daughter to Wildchild 2x as a trial. It's been fun each time, and we're looking forward to more time. We are working parents, and we have a nanny who comes to our home 5-6x a week. Our "only" child is being raised bilingual in Chinese, and our nanny only speaks Chinese, so we've been trying to get our kid out and socialized with some English-speaking kids. Additionally, our little baby is pretty gregarious, rambunctious, and high energy. At 10-months, she was standing and walking, throwing, and smacking. Wild Child totally embraces her personality. We've played with staff member, Curtis, 2x now and he's super delightful and fun. Does he babysit? LOL. My kid really likes him--he's got a smile as big as his heart, and has a ton of energy. What I most appreciate at Wildchild is the open space to roam and the minimalism. My baby needs space to move more than anything. At Wild Child she's able to practice walking longer distances and to move without fear of bumping into our antique furniture at home. In the 2x that we've been, I haven't quite found a child that matches her energy and hands-on, go-get 'em attitude--big difference between a 6 or 7 month old and a walking 11-month old. So I can't wait to move her into the 13 - 23-month group...maybe she's an older kid type? I hope she will make some friends one day. I'm not sure if we'll get to Wild Child on a weekly basis with our schedule, but it's fun to consider the possibilities of dropping in for play time as a family. I'm so happy that this family-owned business has moved into downtown Culver City. I hope they stay around!!!

My family is obsessed with wild child!! This place is such a gem. A friend posted on social media and we went to check it out and my baby girl loves it! She dances to their songs and participated in all of the activities. They have structured classes depending on your child's age. It's very interactive with the parents so far. My kid has been going since she was 8 months old and is now 13 months old. We also had her birthday party there and it was A HUGE HIT! All of their staff are so warm and welcoming. They truly care about the kids. The owner Wai is such a kind soul - it shines through when he's instructing a class and also with how well trained and kind the other instructors are as well. Cannot recommend wild child enough!

This place is amazing! We started coming here because we know the family who owns wild child. I was surprised how different it looks from other gyms/ play spaces, family owned, we come here a lot. Staff and owners are very friendly, and make sure kids have a lot of fun. I personally love the modern, friendly look.

Wild Child is excellent. I attended a birthday party here for kids ages 2 to 4 and it was a blast! The energy of Brian and Kristen (?) Was excellent and they were amazing with the kids. Lots of fun games and play structures to keep them entertained. A really beautiful, fun space.

We had our son's birthday party at Wild Child back in September and it was exceptional in every way! Alli was so helpful throughout the party planning process. She & her team thought of & took care of everything for us. Brian & Kristen were the kids' teachers and we cannot say enough good things about them. Everyone had a fantastic time, parents included.

We recently had our child's party here and it was nonstop fun from beginning to end. This gym looks new and is pretty; the space is tastefully designed. Our lead instructor for the party Brian was awesome. He kept all the kids entertained and laughing until the end. His associate Sierra was very helpful with all the setup and cleanup after the party. All of the parents said their kids had a blast. Parking is easy, especially if you find a spot on the street (on Washington Blvd. or Watseka Ave). Otherwise, there is also a parking garage nearby off of Watseka. Note** There is a mandatory 18% gratuity, which isn't insignificant if you're trying to keep to budget and hadn't considered this amount as part of the total cost.

There are certainly a large number of spots around LA where you can trust your kids to safely play and have a great time, but this space has something more. It's got an energy that is organic and authentic that absolutely elevates the experience for the most important reason for going - the kids. Wai and his staff go beyond the norm with compassion, care and great character. Their passion is great and provides a phenomenal environment for the kids to explore and have fun. And, when we really didn't have the time to really prepare for our son's birthday, they stepped in and delivered an amazing time for our son and his friends with nothing to worry about on our end. Highly recommend this kids gym cut from a much different fabric than the rest.

Just had a party with Brian and Kyla and it was amazing! All the kids (ages ranging from 2-9) had a great time. Would highly recommend for your birthday party!

I love this place! I've had two birthday parties with Wild Child, one at their place and one in my backyard, and it's been such a wonderful experience! I'm blown away with how engaged the staff are with the kids and every kid has a blast regardless of age (even the sullen pre-teens who didn't want to be at a baby party). I've also gotten my Easter baskets from here and they're so thoughtfully curated.

We love this place. It's a home away from home and feel truly blessed to have them in our community. If you have a child, you must know Wild Child Gym!

This place is so great and all of the staff and teachers really care about your kids. My son and daughter have been going for over a year to their classes, camps and date nights and have had an amazing time.

Wild Child throws the absolute most perfect kid's birthday party. They make your kiddo feel so special and they make the whole experience simple and stress-free for the parents. They truly are the best. It's an amazing space with a really dedicated team and the most perfect activities. They've really thought about what's most important and nailed it. I'm so glad we chose Wild Child for our daughter's 3rd birthday and are deeply appreciative that Wild Child made it so special for her and for us.

Discovered this place a couple weeks ago and was immediately hooked. My baby has a ton of fun, the staff is amazing and engaging. All of the other kids and parents have also been super friendly. Highly recommend!

Wai, Kat, and the rest of the Wild Child team provided the most amazing experience for my son's 4th birthday. They far exceeded our expectations in terms of programming and sheer enthusiasm for the kids, the bday boy, and the whole event. I seriously started to tear up just from the look of joy on my son's face--I could tell he felt so special and had an absolute blast. And our guests are still raving about how much fun their kids had! Wai and his team made planning and set up a breeze, and they were so thoughtful and accommodating throughout the entire process. Would definitely book here again!

After loving the sessions, we hosted my daughter's 6th birthday party here. They made it so easy for us parents, and so much fun for the kids! They had the space looking fabulous and I felt so well looked after as we planned for the day. Then the staff were incredible! They kept it running smoothly so we could relax and chat, while the kids had a blast. The laughter and energy was perfect and we would book again in a heartbeat!

4 stars for the experience. 2 stars for the web experience. It's 2020, if your website isn't functional and easy and simple to navigate for bookings, gift certificates, etc then what's the point!

We had our 8 yr old twins birthday party here today. Super impressed with the open space, how clean everything was and the incredible staff. They kept the 27 kids running - so much that many of the kids came out to drink water and then ran back in for more! Thank you for a great day!
