Wild Child

What a great store! Stopped in while traveling through the area. My wife loved it. My daughter loved it. And I loved it!! Great curation. Gifts for all ages and personalities. I wish there was something like this near us. Just a really wonderful store. Also, the staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you, Wild Child.

If you need anything for an infant, toddler or young child, this tucked away gem in Wilton Center (around the corner and downhill from Village Market toward the river) is a treasure trove of choices. Our new family member has loved his "toys" that he can "spin" or observe colors or safely chew with squeals of delight. The owner is also a delight.

So glad we have such a special toy store right in Wilton Center. Beautiful and unique gifts for children of all ages! The owner was so kind to my 2 year old and I, we’ll be back!

Tucked away in Wilton Center, this hidden gem has lots of curated items for babies and young children.

Lovely local toy store! Spacious, charming, and full of unique items. We take our son to Toy Chest in Ridgefield and New Canaan, as well as Toy Post in Westport. Those shops have a lot of toys, but I also find them to be overwhelming. In contrast, Wild Child has a highly curated and diverse selection of toys including some toys I've never seen and some from top brands. They have every category covered - we saw cute little books, Tonies, dolls, doll strollers, arts and crafts projects, beaded jewelry, balls, cars, a wooden trike, a variety of Montessori-friendly wooden toys, and so much more. Wild Child would be great for birthday gifts or your own children. There's something for all ages. The shop owner is very knowledgable and can help you find the perfect toy! Prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth visiting, except on Mondays when they're closed. We're so happy to have this great toy store in the heart of Wilton right by Scoops ice cream. The location is perfect. We can't wait to see what treasures we'll find here in the future.
