We went during a busy time but didn’t have to wait too long to get in. The atmosphere was long but we were able to talk without an issue. Service was also what you would expect for a busy time, but still the server was polite and helpful with tips on the menu. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll for the table. Its has a rich cinnamon cream cheese icing and a crispy bottom from the skillet it’s cooked in. I also had the Carolina casserole skillet and everything in it was cooked to perfection. If you like skillets, bacon, and gravy, it’s a must have. Overall, the food is worth the visit alone.

Google
I was excited to learn they had a gluten free menu and even more excited when I saw pancakes and french toast! We sat at the bar and Day (sp?) was our server and she was an absolute delight! She read my husband like a book cover and brought him a pitcher of Diet Coke, knowing full well that he’d need refills! ☺️ If you’re visiting Louisville, I HIGHLY recommend eating at Wild Eggs.

Google
The food was comfort food, and the comfort food was done very well. We tried the hot brown here, which we had been looking for during our visit to Louisville. We also had grits with bacon, sausage, and cheese, which were excellent. They had a few unique drinks, that we tried. If you are hungry, and looking for some yummy comfort food, this is a good place to come.

Google
Wild Eggs is my go to brunch spot when going to downtown Louisville, Kentucky. This time it was as good as always as this location is very consistent and I will continue to come back. Best time to go is after 12PM to avoid the weekend breakfast and brunch rush.

Google
My husband was happy with his omelet. While my grapes were tasty, they were patheticly tiny (picture included), and I was still hungry. I was prepared to be upset that our pitcher of mimosas were hardly pineapple and only enough for 4 cups, but when the bill came instead of 38, it was 24, so I let that go.

Google
Came here for breakfast with a group of 5. Food was excellent, decent prices. Service was ok, server seemed to disappear at some point. Atmosphere was ok, seemed they were attempting to have a good vibe, but weren’t quite there. I did not enjoy the restrooms, they were small and dark

Google
Im from out of town and found this gem near the hotel. I like how they have a variety of options not commonly found in American diners. Everything tasted phenomenal and my server, Johnnie, was super chill and helpful. You don't need to flag anyone down for coffee either because they bring you a pot which was very convenient.

Google
Good was good. A little disappointed with the shareable cinnamon roll. Served in a warm pan but the cinnamon roll and icing were cool and the icing wasn’t loved by most. We all loved the different ways the incorporated eggs into their decor. Loved the wrap around bar. Service was amazing. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast, and they do fill up fast on the weekends. We came just after 9a on Sunday and got the last table. Big menu with lots of great options. Coffee $3.49 Mexico City Chilaquiles $14 - Very enjoyable dish, the meat was shredded and flavorful and the sauce is very drinkable. Got this with a side of grit *chef kisses* Potato Head Casserole $14 - This dish was good. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2025

Yelp
+ An Unbeatable Breakfast Experience at Wild Eggs - Louisville From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the Lex and it was an absolute powerhouse of flavor and satisfaction. Three perfectly cooked eggs, crispy golden-brown aluminum hashbrowns, three savory sausage links, three strips of thick-cut bacon, sourdough toast done just right, and a side of French toast that tasted like dessert for breakfast. Every bite delivered bold flavor and comfort. Portions were generous, presentation was clean, and the food was served hot and fresh. This wasn't just breakfast--it was an experience. If you're in Louisville and looking for the gold standard in breakfast, Wild Eggs delivers beyond expectations. Highly recommended. I'll be back! And my server Darrin was outstanding! Thank you!

Yelp
Service was great! Everyone was nice, parking is a little weird but you can find spots! Reason to a 4 star never got my grits and blueberry muffin But the food is good! Good eggs! Good meals! The store was really packed for how little it is! But overall good!

Yelp
Good breakfast, my wife's platter was great, pancakes great, grits great. My only negative was that the omelette eggs ( my meal ) appeared to be from liquid eggs as these were spongy and quite dry and not much inside , I ordered bacon, ham, spinach and cheese and it was all clumped in the middle.

Yelp
Food was great and you got tons of it. Service was quick. Great place to go for a needed breakfast before a day on the trail.

Yelp
I mean, how can you go wrong with breakfast anytime of the day? Wild eggs is a chain but I truly think it is a good chain. I can be picky about the chains I eat at, but my legs is not one of those places for me. I thoroughly enjoy their poached eggs made the way I prefer them which is without the runny center. The potatoes are always seasoned well and crispy and never miss. Fresh orange juice is to die for. There are so many options on their menu that it probably would take you at least 3 weeks to try them all if you ate there everyday.

Yelp
So yummy! The service was friendly and if you don't want to wait for a table you can sit at the bar and the way it curves (the bar) makes it easier to still have a chat with whoever you're with!

Yelp
Food was incredible. Service was also incredible. Server was extremely friendly. The tater tots tasted amazing, the pancakes were extremely fluffy, eggs cooked perfectly.

Yelp
This was the BEST place ever! Reservations are HIGHLY recommended otherwise the waitlist is crazy and they close at 3p! Food was phenomenal and gave huge portions. Our server was great and very attentive. Ambiance is family/friends/fun and just relaxed. Please give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

Yelp
Some foods are just not meant to be changed, and that's the case here with the Biscuits & Gravy. Everyone else makes it with regular or spicy sausage, they only have bacon or chorizo here. The bacon gravy was very, very bland. Chicken and waffles were okay, sausage links were good, but as a breakfast place I definitely expect good B&Gs and this wasn't that. Also very expensive bill for average bfast.

Yelp
Went for late breakfast because at 10:55am my hotel was no longer serving- grrr. This hit the spot. Potatoes were so crispy and well seasoned. No up charge for egg white in my omelette. I got Swiss, turkey sausage, roasted tomatoes and poblanos. It was great. Side of sour dough toast which could have been a bit more toasted but the butter whipped and spreadable which I give extra points for. Very good breakfast.

Yelp
Nice place; good choices and Kia was great waitress. Food was good. Nice and comfy feeling!

Yelp
We visited randomly on a Friday afternoon after being in town and looking for a quick bite. We happened to walk by and decided to go in and try it. There was ample seating and we had no wait. The service was phenomenal!! Everyone had smiling faces and offered suggestions. We were visiting from another state so some of the servers offered up suggestions on what to do while in town. The Bloody Mary was probably top 3 I've ever had. The pickles they used were sweet and spicy and do good we had to ask for a picture of the bottle to buy! The portions are a generous size and we couldn't finish our food.

Yelp
After my last experience I had to go back. This time I was solo so sat at the counter, moderate mistake. Yes, the food was delicious, just like last time. The concern is, one server for 18 seats, not the best. Almost every seat sat down within 10 minutes of each other, the poor server was running like crazy and couldn't keep up. Drinks were empty, requests were delayed, plates not cleared when people left. When it's hoping down there maybe a second person would be beneficial.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! The menu had great variety, almost too great! I had a hard time choosing what to order! I went with the breakfast casserole and was very pleased. Everything that passed by our table looked amazing, I wanted to order it all! The pancakes looked so delicious, they were so fat and fluffy! The breakfast lasagna looked very interesting as well! If you are visiting Louisville, check them out!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast with family. We called ahead because we had a larger party and they sat us right away. The menu is extensive and they will happily modify anything. We started with the cinnamon roll for the table, lots of omelettes and pancakes for the kids. Our service Johnny was super helpful and attentive. Prices were cheap based on the rising egg prices. Everyone left full and happy!

Ronald C.

Yelp
Great food and service. An incredible menu along with friendly caring personnel. One of the best breakfast restaurant of Louisville.
google avatar

Roya J.

Yelp
Food and service just okay. Our server was trying to be nice, but seemed service industry wasn't his forte. He however had a cool skeleton tattoo on his hand. As for food, presentation and names were da best. Taste was however mediocracy at its best. Portions were fine except for the chicken and waffles was on the smaller side. Meh is my best description.
google avatar

Brian V.

Yelp
Started with a coffee and ordered the Kelsey KY Brown. The coffee is hot and they provided a large insulated pot for refills. The KY Brown was served on toast with poached eggs, white gravy and diced tomatoes. Wild Egg always serves up a great breakfast with fast and friendly service.

Yelp
The chilaquiles were amazing! They were not only great tasting but a tasting experience when paired with the like picante sipper that follows each bite, fantastic! The servers were very nice, genuine, and knowledgeable. We ate with two people who have celiac disease and they had a dedicated gluten free menu and both stated their food was amazing. Also very accommodating for a wheelchair with a lift to get into the restaurant. Would eat again hopefully soon!

Yelp
Cute breakfast spot that was literally right across from our hotel. Loved the option to make a reservation or join wait-list. Please note it gets super packed after 10am so keep that in mind. Staff were very accommodating and gave good energy. We opted to try the seasonal peach mimosa in a pitcher and loved it. I chose the chicken and waffles with breakfast potatoes as my meal. Absolutely delicious. The buttermilk syrup and Nashville hot chicken sauce are a great addiction to the meal. Prices are reasonable so you can't go wrong. Wheelchair accessible location for anyone who requires it. There is an elevator lift to provide access to seating area
google avatar

Yelp
First prepare to wait as there are few breakfast locations in this area. But it is worth the wait! The cinnamon roll is a must have and the hot brown is an award winner for a reason. Everything was fantastic and the staff was attentive and happy even with an absolute full house. A definite must try!
google avatar

Maggie A.

Yelp
Um, have you ever had a breakfast lasagna? Layers of pancakes, eggs, and sausage, covered in mornay sauce? Well, your breakfast dream can come true at Wild Eggs. We arrived around 10:30am on a Saturday in December with no wait, even though the place was packed. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. People rave about the bloody mary, and rightly so. Great diner-style breakfast spot in downtown Louisville.

Yelp
Eggcellent food and service!! The ambiance is that of a college cafeteria with minimalist art. I thought the art was cute! The food was really good, everyone on my table enjoyed their dish. I got their version of The Hot Brown which is basically an open faced sandwich. We all shared the cinnamon roll which I highly recommend! Ohh almost forgot to mention the biscuits and chorizo gravy. It was so freaking good!! Get it if you go

Jamey M.

Yelp
Good food and you get a lot for the price you pay. Very clean. Took a while to get our food and once we got it, most of it was cold, however, my eggs and bacon were cooked perfect to my liking. We had coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. Both were great
google avatar

Yelp
We were hungry for biscuits and gravy and found this place. What a cool name by the way. We were lucky it was between busy times and got right in. By the time we left there was a line waiting to get in. I would recommend reservations. We were not disappointed. The eggs were just so fluffy and tasty. We shared a meal and there was more than enough for two of us. Most everyone left with a to go box. I ordered coffee and they brought a pot which was nice to see. My husband had a latte which he said was very good. The bacon, sausage and gravy were very good. I would most definitely return to visit Wild Eggs again.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and awesome service as always. Best breakfast around. I would recommend and stop in. To reward your taste buds! But, don't take my work for it. Stop in and try it for yourself.

Yelp
Always great food! No wait and so many options that it's hard to choose! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is amazing! I had the loco hash and It was flavorful! I wish I had taken pictures because the eggs were perfect. Over easy just like I make them at home.

Tim B.

Yelp
Back again!!! I like this place so much! I ordered the country fried steak eggs over medium and potatoes with a blueberry muffin!! The service is again amazing!! The vibe is still great!!
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. Our waiter Darrin was a wonderful, he was a hoot. Would absolutely recommend stopping here while you're in town! I got the country fried steak and others in my party ordered the stuffed French toast and breakfast lasagna.

Yelp
Another stop in our Kentucky trip was Wild Eggs. Recommended to us by another family in our group we were not disappointed. So much so we ate here two days in a row. Place is packed ! You probably want to call for a reservation, but I promise 1000% worth it. Hands down wish we had one back home. It's hard to look at the menu & decide what you would like because it all looks so good. I had the same both days I went I ordered the fried country steak with fried eggs, grits & biscuit. My son got the pancakes one day & the French toast the next. My daughter & husband got the steak with eggs, biscuit & potatoes. The food is amazing. Everything flavorful & cooked to perfection. The service was great we also had the same waitress both days which was nice she was super attentive. If I am ever in Kentucky again I know where I'll be eating breakfast.

Yelp
Loved this place! Very close to our hotel - we were able to walk to it and that was nice. Entrance setup is a bit odd, but it works. You walk in to the small area and that is where you wait. There are multiple levels and rooms to the restaurant. We were quoted a moderate wait time, but were able to sit at the bar when seats opened up. The server at the bar was AMAZING. She was friendly, helping everyone, had suggestions and stayed on top of all the guests. My friend and I shared a big platter because it it sooooo much food. It was a great decision, it was SO GOOD. I loved the french toast, the grits, the sausage links and the bacon. My friend raved about the eggs. The sweet tea was very good! After all that we still had a blueberry muffin to take home! Their menu is extensive. I would definitely eat here again. Somebody seated close to us had a chicken and waffle and it was mouth watering just looking at it!

Yelp
Amazing food , great service Very happy Had the hash Bennie's and it was a great recommendation

Yelp
Darrin was awesome! He was super kind & friendly. He made our day! The food was great! We loved everything! The prices were also a win! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!
google avatar

Yelp
Had the chorizo Benedict. Wow! Great flavors. Not your standard egg dish. Coffee was good, great flavors. Visiting on business, but I think I found my new go to when in town!
google avatar

Sylvester V.

Yelp
Great breakfast, nice staff and so many options at a good value. Breakfast was so good at a perfect price point, we came back two consecutive days. Easy parking as well.
google avatar

Elsie G.

Yelp
My husband is still raving about this place. It was delicious, clean, and the staff was super friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything was delicious and place looked clean. I would most definitely return to eat here.

Yelp
I ended up at wild eggs because of its proximity to my hotel. The place is immediately inviting with its bright and colorful walls, high ceilings, and plenty of dining space. Craig, for being new to the job, took great care of me. Craig offered their coffee of the day: blueberry pecan cookie (maybe it wasn't cookie, but it was blueberry pecan anyway). It came topped with whipped cream and blueberries. As a black coffee drinker, I wasn't expecting that; I was expecting just flavored coffee, not a dessert. It was way too sweet for me, but drank it anyway. To eat, I had the bacon omelette. Unfortunately, the bacon was not chopped, which made the omelette a little bit hard to eat. Cutting it, without the omelette totally coming apart, was tough due to the stringy bacon. But that's really my only complaint. Food was good. Atmosphere was bright and airy. Service was good. But, the overall experience was not quite good enough for that 5th star. I'd go back, though.

Yelp
Wow times 20. Great breakfast joint and great service. I'm from the West coast and boyyyy do I love me some southern hospitality. The waitresses were super accommodating and made sure I was taken care of. Came here twice during my 2 day visit. Had the famous KY Brown, super flavorful and very interesting. A bit on the heavier side for me (sauce, deli like meat) but I inhaled the whole dish very fast. Best southern fried chicken I have had, and got to try grits as well. Would come back in a heartbeat.
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
2 visits here and both times were great. Big portions and quite filling. Service both days were great. Good coffee is important for the morning. Mission accomplished. Very casual place to get a good meal.
google avatar

Sequoyah B.

Yelp
Don't miss out! My husband & I visited from out of town and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of options on the menu. I wish we wouldn't have waited until the very last day to check this place out. - I would have returned every day to try something new! Very good and unique menu items. It has a modern diner vibe. Our Sorry to say our service was okay, not stellar, but the food made up for that, luckily! (Waitress seemed annoyed she was there working (or this is her personality), and we waited to place our order then waited again for the check. She aced the refills though and served them before we had to ask!
google avatar

JoAnna C.

Yelp
Servers worked well as a team. Get there early for on street parking. G ET s pretty busy about 8 am. Came here from out of town with friends. I had the eggs Benedict, which was very good. We had a little bit of everything else which was prepared well. Not a fan of the bacon flavor, but it was cooked perfectly. I'm not gonna give it a five star because there were areas for improvement, but it was definitely a solid 4+
google avatar

Abby W.

Yelp
I'm always happy when a breakfast spot lets me add turkey to an omelette and this spot actually has it listed as an option. My turkey and cheddar omelette was delicious and the skillet potatoes were a perfect side. I ended up choosing a blueberry muffin for my bread and it was a great choice. My boyfriend picked the wild mushroom and roasted garlic scramble, which also comes with his favorite goat cheese and couldn't have been happier with the dish.

Whitney H.

Yelp
Excellent service from our server. Food was delicious and large portions. Quick service and restaurant and bathroom were extremely clean. Will be back!
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
I wish I could remember our waitress's name from Friday morning. Never an empty water or coffee. She was on point! I had a country fried steak & eggs with grits- first time eating grits! Very delicious plate. Tons of food. Not one thing to confirm about. Service was awesome. We did not have a reservation but we were still seated in 10-15min tops. Come with an appetite because the servings are not small!
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
Food was very good and service was friendly. A nice selection of choices on the menu Definitely would come back

Yelp
When I read the reviews in advance, I thought I might be waiting a long time. However, we didn't wait long and were pleasantly surprised by the quick service once we ordered our food. I would recommend this location over other Wild Eggs locations because of the excellent atmosphere and delicious food.
